Arrived at 5:20 on a Tuesday - ordered 3 gyros - were told it would take 35 minutes. Returned at 6:15. At 6:30 it was clear they were not making anything. Got a refund and left.

Visited Souvlaki Hut last night and I was blown away with the quality for such an affordable price. The chicken souvlaki dinner was delicious... the salad fresh and crunchy, the chicken juicy, the potatoes melt in your mouth, the tzatziki was authentic and homemade with fresh cucumber, and the grilled pita was amazing! On top of that the service is friendly and they go above and beyond to make your experience great! Thanks for the yummy honey sticks!

First time eating at this restaurant since they reopened under new management (used to eat here a lot pre pandemic). Very disappointed. The rice was so salty I couldn t eat it. The potatoes were mush and the portions were smaller. AND the prices went up. First and last time for me.

Great place to grab a bite after a walk in the park. Portions were huge, the food was delicious, and the staff were wonderful.

I havent eaten here in person but I regularly order from them through Uber Eats. The portions are good, the food comes fast and hot and is priced better than most of the overpriced craziness in the app. Will definitely stop by here in person at some point. Keep up the good quality work!

Our company ordered a large takeout order for a company picnic of approx 60 people, and Souvlaki Hut did an amazing job. The food was cooked well, it was ready on time (and packaged well for transporting in large trays and boxes - Chicken and Pork Souvlaki, grilled veggies for vegetarian option, greek salad, rice potatoes/fries), and there was plenty of food for everyone. Many compliments to the team (Ersa and her staff). We will be back soon for another large company event, and many of our staff members will visit for their own personal lunches. Well done, THANK YOU! This neighborhood needed a Greek restaurant and were so happy we finally got one. Great service, real Greek food from real Greek people. I wouldnt recommend anywhere else if you live nearby stop in to grab and go, or order for delivery. Take out only.

Honestly. According to Uber eats Im one of your best customers. Usually we love the place. I tried calling in order to fix the issue off line but it says out of service. Everything has changed. There was only one souvlaki option (chicken). The potatoes that are normally so good tasted different. They were also under cooked and the rice didnt taste the same. The chicken was cut differently and more dry than usual. My wifes lentil soup was spilled in the bag and very greasy compared to the usual. Very disappointing

Very tasty grab and go Greek food. Meat skewers are always flavourful and juicy and portions are generous. Only knock against it is that sometimes they forget condiments like the Tzatziki and often dont answer the phone if youre looking to order in advance. Otherwise highly recommend.

Visited Souvlaki Hut today for the first time and got take out of course. First, the portion size was extremely generous. Secondly, they nailed the order given it s literally a one man show right now. Last, the food was pretty delicious. Definitely going back very soon!

The Dundas location in Etobicoke is pretty slimmy; the website prices are not the prices this location charges; but they say they are not the ones posting online and they have no control...the website is just not updated they say for their advantage. How convenient !!! When I went today, for a small salad and 2 skewers of chicken is more than a large salad and 2 skewers. The woman there tells me they gave me what I ordered, while they chose the most expensive combination possible of their menu (already more than website) of small salad & 2 skewers, with posted prices that are $2.00 more for each items.. I paid $29.21 today Lesson; watch for the prices are they differ from location to location, and watch for the one gouging during this covid-19 times where take out has become the only way to order food Souvlaki Hut BloorWest .....is dishonest, and opportunist of these times .

Somewhat disappointed. We usually order from Souvlaki Hut a couple of times each month, and yesterday we ordered from this one for the first time. The large portion was significantly smaller than other locations, and the rice was overcooked. So much so that it was like eating mashed potatoes. The salad had about three lettuce leaves in it. We had asked and paid for extra sauce which we didnt notice wasnt there until we got home. Hopefully this was a one time mistake as I find them to be consistently delicious.

My bf and I wanted to go out for dinner. So I was looking for greek food around my fave frozen yogurt spot, and this is actually right across the street from it. We thought the price for a single chicken souvlaki kabob dinner was overpriced AT FIRST, however you get a very decent sized salad with nicely season toasted pitas, then your platter comes out containing a pile of yummy sauced rice, some super delicious hunks of potato, a dollop of their house made tzatziki, with that very favorable chicken souvlaki. I was so intoxicated with flavors that I forgot about dessert until it arrived, which was was deep fried pitas which were drenched in the most tasty honey sauce and dusted with cinnamon (the very crispy pieces taste just like my favourite absolute cereal, Cinnamon Toast Crunch) and although being so simple I was blown away by it and the entire meal in fact. The staff were great and very friendly, checked in a few times. We sat in between the kitchen and the front so you could hear their voices above the music, that did not bug me because I was so captivated by the food it only added to a more homey atmosphere in my opinion, like eating dinner at your favourite aunts house. Thanks so much to the ladies who served us there, you will definitely see us again!

I was a loyal customer till today. Poor customer service they have demonstrated. They yelled saying that they were unable to prepare Gyros and didn t even gave me the chance to ask about the options with the other meat they had. I you don t have the skills work on the service industry consider another type of job. You just do a poor job to the Souvlaki Hut brand.

Horrible service! Went in to order a takeout. Noticed they were focusing on their online orders as a priority. I had no problems with that and waited. When it settled down, I asked how long it would take for my order as it hadnt been started yet. Got the order home and noticed there was no chicken with the chicken salad and messed up the gyros sandwiches. Called them to explain the situation and all they could say was that they had new people working and offered no compensation other than theyll take our name and number for the next time we order. There will be no next time! Stay away or double check your order before leaving the establishment.

The Meat is good, but the salads are strait iceberg lettuce, so basically not worth it.

The first time they messed up my order; I was not upset because they have great customer service and accuracy in the past and it could just be an off day. The second time on a different order was very disappointing and unprofessional in the response. As much as I like their food. I will not order there again.

We ordered a chicken souvlaki dinner and an extra side if potatoes. We paid a good $30 for the meal. When the meal was opened it was discovered that they completely messed up the order. They gave us a container of potatoes with chicken. They however did not provide us with the dinner as was requested. When we called to inquire regarding the issue the staff member stated that we were only charged for what we ordered. Please always double check what you are served when taking the good to go. The amount we paid was for a full meal and a side. Not just a side with bits of chicken. I am highly disgusted and disappointed by the poor customer service they provided us at the Bloor West location. Website does not provide with management contact email. If possible I will no longer go to the location.

Best location I have been too hands down

I used to really love this place....The last 3 times Ive gone in 30 minutes prior to closing, theyve already cleaned up the gyro meat and salad bar. As you walk in you can see the look of ugh! on their faces because they may have to serve someone and dirty up their freshly cleaned work stations. If youre going to shut down your food prep area 30 minutes before closing, then change your closing hours to 8:30 instead of 9.

Quick, inexpensive and tasty.

We ordered from here and did not receive our food because of Uber Eats... terrible job by Uber eats, after waiting for over an hour I called Souvlaki Hut and found out our food had been sitting there for over 20 mins. But I really commend the customer service from the gentleman I spoke to who works at Souvlaki Hut on May 31 @ 9 pm... unfortunately this isn t the first time good food has been waisted at the expense of Uber Eats. If you order from this restaurant use another platform for delivery!

Best gyros around

I went to get lunch around 3PM after finishing a business call outside. The manager/owner saw me waiting at the cash register and came up and told me that he s not taking orders he s on break. I asked if there was somebody else that could take my order and he said no. Another potential customer came in and he refused to serve him too. I told him that he should have locked up and posted a sign that he was closed for the time being. Instead of taking my feedback and apologizing for the lack of service, he pointed out that I was standing out front on the phone implying that it s my own fault that he was not willing to serve me. His employees in the past have been amazing, which goes to show that all it takes is one bad experience...

this is my last year going to school nearby and im really going to miss the food need to make sure I pick up another gyro before school ends

The souvlaki is super moist and flavourful, everything here is super fresh. The food is outstanding and better than most of the places you get on the danforth. The restaurant is clear and welcoming, and you get actual cutlery and china plates for dine in service which is a nice touch. My new favourite place for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Amazing freshly made Greek food. The meats are very flavourful, especially the pork, and the tomatoes are cooked with a delicious tomato broth. When I lived in the neighbourhood I would eat here every week. I just wish they were open late. I sometimes visit Bloor West Village just to eat at Souvlaki Hut. I highly recommend this place for good food served quickly!

I ordered the same dish I have ordered numerous times but when I got home they had given me the wrong food but charged me for the more expensive dish I ordered. I let them know the next time I went in. I was expecting an apology and some kind of discount on my next order or a free something, even just a piece of pita bread. Instead I was told that I must have placed the wrong order and that if I wanted it fixed then I had to call the owner who would likely do nothing for me. The woman made the owner out to be the problem when she was the one that got the order wrong. They were very rude and I ended up walking out. There are lots of good restaurants in Bloor West, try one of the many that can get a simple order right and doesnt blame you for their mistakes. I have eaten Greek food many times and theres nothing special about this restaurant. In fact, this is one of the more expensive Greek restaurants in Toronto and the quality is not that great.

Inaccurate hours. On Google it says open until 9pm on Wednesday. Got there 10 to 9, not ideal I know but got there as quick as I could and still hoping I could grab something. It was closed. The hours for what time they close as listed on the door was simply a zero. As in 11am to 0. Wont bother trying go there again, glad there are other places to eat in the area.

I generally dont leave bad reviews but this is now about the 3rd time Ive had an absolutely horrible customer service experience here. Really sucks cuz the food is great - its just I dont appreciate being ignored while you chit chat about your personal dramas and roll your eyes at me when asking a simple question about extra tzatziki. Also the guy is rude too.
