Tzatziki MT pleasant in Toronto

Ordered through Uber eats and canceled not even 2 minutes after placing order (wanted to place for just chicken instead of mixed) Still got charged and didnt get any food. From reading the reviews Im glad I didnt try it.

The taste is not there and the flavor is very bland

Ordered bogo on Uber. Souvlaki meals. The pitas were a little dry and tough. But everything else was great. Salad nice and fresh and crisp, dressing packed separately. Meat was good. Rice was good. Potatoes were great! The tzatziki was delish. Parking: The lot was full, Saturday evening. Its also an awkward lot - narrow, shared with multiple businesses

I ordered chicken souvlaki, rice and potatoes. The potatoes and the sauce is very salty and I couldn t even eat it. Don t they taste the food they made? Terrible!! Chicken was not too bad

Rip off. Gyros is oily greasy shawarma and no tzatziki LOL. Laughable portion. Everything tiny. These people don t care for quality. Have no heart.

The food is getting more expensive and IT GOT WAY SMALLER than before. The taste is the same though but it was way too small when I got it today. Disappointing

TERRIBLE FOOD. Ordered their gyro dinner FOR $33 and threw most of it out. The meat was mostly fat, and the pieces that werent were dried out and crusty, as if someone took leftover trimmings out of the fridge and deep fried it. Was like chewing on hard leather. And overly salty.

I came across the restaurant on Uber eats. Placed an order and was extremely satisfied. I have since ordered a few more times in the last few weeks. The food is delicious, the tzatziki is the best I have ever tasted, portions are generous! So delish! Highly recommend

Everything is made to order so takes a bit of time but really good and worth it.

When i saw they were giving free food to everyone i thought it would be something not so good or something really small! I was completely wrong dude gave me and my wife total of 3 shish and they were soooo delicious, for sure i am coming back to this store to try everything they are serving!! Always purchase food from here but had to say me and my girlfriend had an issue with Uber eats not doing the 2 for 1 deal so we went in to ask them to fix the order and was helped right away. Thank you.

Terrible chicken. Was dry and literally cut my mouth eating it. Would never recommend this to anyone. Total cost $17 for a terrible tasting wrap.

A very nice couple who work there. I got the Tzakiki YUM, with fresh bread. The Spinach pie was delicious too. So good to support local!

Purchased off Uber several times, at first it was good except horrible salad dressing, now they don t follow their own options and if you have allergies forget about them reading your notes.. asked for no onions on salad, get onions all over the top.. French fries with my meal were horrible they use an oil with a bad after taste.. over priced when they can t even pay attention to the smallest details. Chicken and tzatziki is only redeeming thing.. unfortunately it s not enough to warrant the price for all of this and they didn t even send me the 2 extra tzatziki I paid for and Uber eats doesn t refund kept my money and didn t send the food I paid for and what they sent I have allergies against they ignore my allergies that were in BOLD TYPE ON THE RECEIPT SENT WITH MY FOOD ..

I always get the chicken souvlaki dinner and it s amazing! They give you so much food too, the bowl is always packed.

Ordered 2 chicken gyro dinners tonight through Uber eats. There was no actual pieces of chicken in our order, it was all chicken skin and burnt and dry. I had to throw it in the garbage, total waste of money and time.

Ive been wanting to visit for a couple of months, and Im mad that I didnt go sooner. The prices were good, but the food was amazing. We have no pictures, because we started in too fast. The Spanikopita was so great, but do yourself a favour and dont skip the desserts! Their Loukoumades were heavenly, but the Baklava was probably the best that Ive had outside of Pireus!

The chicken gyro from here is possibly the best Greek food I ve ever had. Very well seasoned chicken, fresh tzatziki and vegetables. The gentlemen that run the restaurant are very friendly, funny and polite. Oh, by the way the chicken gyro is $10, you can t get a slap on the wrist in Toronto for less then 15, definitely a must try place!

I was waiting too long and didn t get my order. And nobody told me that they couldn t make me a sandwich.

If you do not want to waste time, then it is better not to come here. I ordered two vrapas with pork. After 15 minutes of waiting, I learned that the order will be ready in 2 minutes. Another 5 minutes passed and the employee told me that the order will be prepared longer, she does not know how much. And it happened because the owner visited them. For the owner, it is more important to arrange a staff meeting than to satisfy customers. The girl at the cash register could not return the money to the bank card (because I paid that way), I had to take it in cash

Theyre out of everything but chicken?? And during lunch hour too. Its sad.

Good food and exceptional service.

Food was good the first couple of times, but last time I had it the meat was terrible. They usally make me wait 10+mins for it, but it was ready so quick this time. The chicken was super dry, barely warm, the fries were cold and the tomato was so old, I couldnt even pick it out whole. I didnt finish it. Avoid location.

I placed a catering order with John (the owner) The order was for 11 people and was supposed to be delivered on Saturday at 630, but the order did not show up until 650, what was more disappointing is that knowing that the delivery time was not going to be met, no one on the restaurant reached out to contact me which left me waiting in the lobby of my condo, leaving my guests, for 20 minutes, not cool. For the most part, the food was OK, a generous amount of chicken, pita, and tzatziki, although the fries were soggy probably from being 20 minutes late. Unfortunately due to the customer service, the bad taste was already left in my mouth (pardon the pun) I also reached out to John and expressed my dissatisfaction, but heard nothing in return. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS IF YOU PLAN ON USING TZATZIKI MT PLEASENT FOR CATERING

I ve always enjoyed takeout from here. I highly recommend the pork souvlaki wrap it is delicious. The ingredients are fresh and flavourful. The calamari dinner is also quite good. Definitely my go to place for Greek dinners. They never disappoint.

We ordered pork souvlaki dinner and were absolutely disgusted. Meat was either very old or expired. Besides being extremely dry, overcooked and impossible to chew, after first bite we realized that it smells odd. Didn t take us long to realize that it has that expired/old meat odor Was absolutely disgusting. We had to throw it out not wanting to get food poisoning. Do not recommend at all..

Great food, good prices!

Had the pork souvlaki with rice, roast potatoes and salad. There s enough food for two. I ll try the chicken next time maybe as a gyros sandwich. Always love tzatzikis so the more the better. They also have a decent amount of dessert selections got the their version of tiramisu let just say yum Overall so far (first time visit) all was great till next visit efcharistó!

Stopped by for some solid lunch takeout - so lovely to find a taste of the Danforth in Midtown! My boyfriend enjoyed his gyros, while I got to try a custard pie slice (the crust was so flaky and satisfying, and the filling was not too sweet - just right!). I asked if there was anything I should watch out for with my nut allergies, and they were candid that all the baked goods would likely be cross-contaminated with nuts. For those who are adventurous with their may contain adventures though, this is a lovely place to try :) They also have feta and spanikopita pies, as well as homemade baklava.

The lady that served us had long hair and it was down she was doing cash and making food and no gloves, ! , .. we got one dinner but they had no potatoes, maybe its off night it wasnt vary big small from what we get at other places and I had a wrap they didnt put much on it at all just lettuce and lots of onions ..I asked for vary little onions but everything is good...she never put tomatoes or anything !! I just hope I dont get a hair in it

Absolutely everything on the menu is fantastic! I ve tried the chicken gyros sandwich, chicken souvlaki sandwich, cheese pie, spinach pie, baklava and donuts. I m so happy they opened a second location. This is the best food that you can find in midtown!

Fresh, delicious, and good price. We ordered two chicken gyro wraps and a greek salad. The wraps were delicious! Not many places put fries in their wraps and we loved it. The chicken was delicious and fresh, not dry like some places. The salad was nice and fresh but was a little too overloaded with feta cheese. But we devoured our food and will definitely be going back.

Came here for the first time last week, ordered 2 mixed gyros with extra tzadziki. The cashier displayed excellent customer service and she was kind throughout the entire transaction. Definitely coming back.

Ordered delivery: 2 pork dinners, 2 spanakopita and 1 tiramisu. It was great! Only downside, the salads are too small in my opinion. Would have rated 4 out 5 stars for this reason but since I got an extra tiramisu, got to recongnize. And btw the tiramisu was really, really good!

Got the mixed gyro wrap and baklava. Both were fantastic and the wrap is massive for $10. Owners also gave me a free dessert which was also amazing.

Just ordered on Uber Eats and everything was delicious. We had the pork souvlaki dinner and spanakopita. Everything is well seasoned and traveled well. I appreciate that the side salad came in a separate container so it was crisp. Will definitely order again!

Keep going very testy food .

We got two chicken wraps with fries but were dissatisfied with the food and preparation. The guy who was preparing our food was on his phone, whether looking at the wrap recipe or being distracted, which is completely unsanitary. The fries were stale so I had to ask for a fresh order and the chicken was dry and a little bland. Its not a place I would go to again. P.S. the dinner plate prices are too high for what they serve.

I got the BOGO free deal for pork souvlaki dinner on Ubereats pickup. Souvlaki was cooked well and tasty. However I found the rice to be quite salty but other than that, the pita, Greek salad and fries were super tasty. Love the olive oil and tzatziki as well. Server was friendly. This is a new food joint. The menu is simple but the food is great. If youre looking for Greek food, this would be the place. I go at least once a week.

Its a Greek fast-food joint with all the standard Greek dishes at ok prices. I have been here once and while it was good I cant cant say it was great. The meat was a little dry. Im going to go back and give them another shot.

Shocked at the 4.6 rating this was one of the worst/most disappointing meals I ve had in awhile. The chicken souvlaki dinner (which included 2 chicken skewers, 3 slices of potatoes, rice and a small Greek salad) was $30 and I couldn t even eat it. The chicken was INSANELY salty and dry, the rice was hard and the potatoes had this awful indescribable taste. I also asked to substitute the rice with extra Greek salad, they ignored the request. Do yourself a favour and grab your dinner elsewhere.

Was ok, but not planning on returning anytime soon. This place is far from Real Greek food. Pretty much disappointed, I had to force myself to eat it. Stick to the Danforth if your looking to enjoy Greek. Sorry, but I would not recommend this place.

We asked the guy at the front if the gyro chicken is essentially like a schwarma, slow marinated chicken with seasoning. He says oh no dont insult us like that. Schwarma has herbs and spices. Turns out those herbs and spices are extremely necessary because this was the most bland, salty, overcooked chicken Ive ever had on any wrap ever. Hilarious he said dont insult us considering the schwarma wraps in the area are far superior to this. On the positive side portions are reasonable and thank God the tzatziki was flavourful to make up for the dry chicken and stale fries in the wrap. Prices are reasonable.

Tzatziki is always good. I go to the one on Pape all the time. I was driving past and saw the location on Mount Pleasant and decide to stop and eat. I got a pork gyro sandwich, asking for Tzatziki, fries, tomatoes and onions. To my surprise it had feta cheese spread on the bread the pork gyro meat was dry and the fries were recooked a couple of times. The guy preparing it was rude because I didn t answer fast enough if it was to dine in or to go. Please avoid this location and go to the one in Pape

The staff are awesome to chat with while you wait. The souvlaki is the best Ive had in a long while. Also late hours are a plus, everything at Yonge and eg shuts down at 9 and night owls have no food options.

Best gyro in the area by far. And the only authentic one!

This is my current go to for Greek food, particularly when there s a bogo deal on Uber Eats. My only suggestion is that they switch back to the old containers. The new containers are very flimsy. I ve had food spill out a few times. I didn t bother complaining because it was the bogo deal, but it s frustrating.

More than 30 minutes waiting for the order, the order It was accommodated with what they wanted to put on the Plate because at the time of serving they had nothing left, the price is not low and the wait is eternal, better to look for another place

I only ordered one meal and even though I asked for the meat not to be dry, it was made completely dry. I think I will never waste my money again.

We have ordered from here several times and have always enjoyed our dinners. Last night we ordered via UBER and the driver only delivered 2 out of the 6 meals. We called the restaurant to see what happened and contacted UBER right away. This was a mistake on behalf of the UBER driver but the restaurant insisted on giving us free desert and drinks even though it wasn t their error. I told them it wasn t necessary but they absolutely insisted. This goes toward showing how much the restaurant cares about the satisfaction of their clients and I will continue to support this restaurant and be ordering from them many more times in the future. Parking: There is a small parking lot with about 12 spots. There is paid street parking and a green P just south of where the restaurant is located

Ive been going to the pape location of this restaurant for years decided to try the Mount Pleasant location food is absolutely delicious very large portions and staff are very friendly I highly recommend it

Nothing was done fresh. Chicken souvlaki and beefsteaka were premade and just reheated.

The French fries were not fresh and very greasy, I will not waste my money there again. Very disappointed
