Great food for great prices! Nice to see they havent changed for the worse in all these years. Even their prices have remained fair. Its a treat to stop at Johnnys when Im back in the area. Parking: I think they may be cash-only. Its a part of their vibe and I imagine it helps keep the prices as fair as they are.

Whenever Im in Scarborough, I have to have it! Reasonably priced as well. Reminds me of my childhood.

What an amazing place! Great food and unbelievably priced! I cant think of a single place that you can get two burger combos for under $25 these days, except Johnnys. And worth every penny and more.

Classic burgers, fries, shakes, and many more items prepared fresh and made to order right before your eyes. The team who runs this establishment are all friendly folks - A+ customer service! On top of the food being tasty, my biggest draw here is the value. You can stretch your dollar very far here. You ll be leaving here feeling heavier, but not at the cost of your wallet feeling lighter. You must visit this shop!

If you grew up in Scarborough, if you know you know that this spot hits every time. It s a normal frozen speed burger but it s just sooo tasty IMO. Definitely an institution in Scarborough.

There a reason why its a Scarborough Staple! The food is classic! Has that classic burger joint taste that brings me back to my youth in the 80s. The service is outstanding, good guys! What really is Awesome is the prices. In a day in age where everything is expensive and over priced. Getting a banquet burger for 6.95 is amazing deal! Family run, and they treat y like family.

Johnnys Hamburgers is hands down the best burger spot in town! The food is amazing juicy, flavorful burgers that keep us coming back time and time again. The staff is always so pleasant, making the whole experience even better. Last time, I was a little short on cash (they only accept cash), and the cashier, whose name I didn t catch, was incredibly kind and still gave me my order with a smile. That kind gesture meant a lot. This place is truly a family favorite, and we re always impressed by the delicious food and friendly atmosphere.

Burgers are BIG portions. Fries are dry. I m 5 9 and 165lbs (male) with the munchies and ordered 3 burgers (ham burger, cheese burger and chicken burger) + fries = $22.70. Way too much food for me

Try a banquet burger with poutine and a steak sandwich here for the first time. I like the place and like how old style it was but about the food The banquet burger was tasty but steak sandwich super normal and not that much taste. For me just good to try Once .

The people are so nice. The place is cool and old school. The hotdog fries and onions are good. The burger is ok. The prices are pretty good.

Ive been going here since my high school days, a bit over 25 years ago. This is definitely my go to spot and the BEST burger joint in town. Every time you line up, youll see a nice diverse crowd. Thats how loyal their clientele is. Everything tastes good and its also very affordable. Highly recommended!

Went here for the first time in many years. The burger was too soft and mushy, probably undercooked. I was surprised how fast it was ready, 5 minutes. Service is good but my stomach did not feel good in the morning so I wont be back any time soon.

This is one of our go to spots. The food is always fresh and the prices are extremely reasonable. If I had to say something to change it would be that they should add a sitting area. Theres nowhere to sit and eat here so you must get your food and go. I highly recommend this establishment if you want great food and good prices Parking: Its a pretty big lot as its also parking for an attached shoppers drug Mart. I have never had an issue with parking. Kid-friendliness: Theres definitely a kids menu

Been coming for over 20 years! Moved to Brampton 10 years ago now and miss the place... just went and still the same and the best! Some small upgrades but for the better! I do miss the old string of lights outside on the late Saturday nights.

Cant beat Johnnys. This goes back to the late 60s! Prices are the best in town and fast fast service. Open till 1 am most nights (2 am Fri and Sat) but closed Sundays. Check it out!!

The menu is always the same, the location same, quality, just like when i was a kid, the same delicious taste as usual. This is a timeless classic. The neighbourhood is changing but count on Johnnys food to be the historical classic!

Delicious burgers, business is very good, they only accept cash, but there is an ATM inside the store that you can use. I ordered two kinds, one was a beef burger with cheese and fried crispy bacon, and the other was a basic beef burger. Both were delicious and cheap. Available for takeout only.

Im embarrassed to say that after 10 years of living in the neighborhood, last night was the first time Johnnys Hamburgers. Im blown away by the quality of Food for the Price they charge, just wow. After finishing a late night bite with a buddy of mine, I can confidentially say that it hit the spot and not to mention I did not feel bloated after eating there food!

Place hasnt changed in 40 years. Hamburger buns are over sized. But gotta love that sauteed onions are always available for your Burger, steak on a bun or hot dog. Love ya, dont change a thing.

Jonny s is a well established Toronto burger joint that has been around since the late sixties. What makes this place unique in a that it has not changed all the much since that time period. It is a classic burger joint and that s rare in a city like Toronto because burger joints don t last and or stand the test of time. This place is different. The menu is simple. Burgers, fries, hotdogs, steak sandwich and souvlaki. Fountain pop is offered as a beverage. I grew up in the area so there s a ton of nostalgia associated with this place. In fact it s quite common to witness father and mothers introducing their young family to this place. As for the food, a burger and fries with gravy combo is my go to. For burger toppings, it s the usual suspects - ketchup, relish, mustard, onions and fried onions. And that is what makes this place so cool and unique. Despite all of the industry trends and changes to the fast food world, these guys have never deviated. They serve up a non-pretentious burger and fries combo and an incredible price. If you re looking for a high end burger with top quality meat and garnishes this is not that place. If this is what you re after go to the Cactus Club. If however you want to take a trip back through time and eat a burger off the hood of your car or pop the hatch on your SUV and have a quick meal in the parking lot much like the days of the old drive ins then you will not be dissapointed. There s a reason why this place has been around since the sixties and the ownership still lies within the family. If none of this makes sense, have a look at the 1970s video on YouTube for: The Olympia Restaurant: Cheesburger, Chips and Pepsi. The late John Belushi, Dan Akroyd, and Jane Curtain, Bill Murray and Gilda Radner. In the 80s Johnnys was very much like the skit they portrayed. This is a Toronto landmark located north of the city. Plenty of parking. If you live in Toronto, you must try this place at least once in your life.

We ve been coming here for over 20 years and it s still just as good every time. A classic burger thats juicy and hits the spot and their poutine is delicious! Idk what s in that gravy but it s one of the best I ve had.

This place is a Toronto Landmark for a reason. Don t expect anything gourmet but just a consistently great experience every single time and it never fails. Fan Favourites, Pork Souvlaki on a bun, Banquet Burger, Fries Gravy and the Onion Rings are all winners in my books

Classic burger jn Scarborough

Decided to make the trip up from downtown on the weekend to give this Toronto landmark a try for the first time since I was a teenager and from what I can remember not much has changed. The best thing about this place is the price, I mean less then 5 bucks for a good sized burger on a nice fresh Kaiser is so much cheaper than McDonald s and the stuff they pass as a burger. The burger is above average, nothing that blows your mind. The fried onions are a nice topping choice. Staff super friendly and fast. My one concern is they have a huge box of raw burgers out on the counter that they pick from before putting on the grill and that box of burgers when it s not busy ( like when I was there) must sit out for quite some time and really should be refrigerated. Other than that, would definitely come back when in the area, but won t make a special trip again.

Lot of 5 star reviews made me very excited to try this place. All the prices were good, but the burger was just a grilled frozen patty. Everything was done correctly and the final product wasnt bad, but the quality would just improve 10x if they used fresh meat.

Before I went in, I noticed other customers are for certain burger eaters. You know, you just get that kind of feeling that you ve come to the right place. Food, service and price are all better than the chain stores. I had a big meal. Plenty for parking. It has been around for 57 years for very good reasons.

Go in, order food, pay, wait about 7 minutes...get your food...walkout...go to table (south side of building) or eat in your car or take home. No tables. The cooks and servers are fast-paced. They have been in the same location for decades. Very busy, and worth the wait. Closed Sunday 4.75/5.
