Toronto's best Poke destination for Poke bowls! A classic Hawaiian dish that includes sashimi, rice, veggies, and more deliciousness!
I've been going to Poke Guys almost since they opened up. I like the food - it taste good. The service is respectable - the staff do a great job. My concern though is the price increases. While it has always been a little expense they increased their prices about six months ago and it is just too much now. A large bowl costing $22 + tax and tip. Like, tipping for a place where you don't get to sit to place your order you just stand. Uuuuh I don't know if I can get behind that.
Delicious blend of flavor in their premade flavors. Their sashimi fish are marinated well and still have some crunch of freshness to it. Broad sauce options to choose from. The portion is just a lot for what you're paying (considering you're getting sashimi grade food). You can just say yes to every topping and they'll put all of them in your bowl for you. I am always shocked by how much you get per bowl. - Fire Fin with Tuna, mango, kimchi - Small - Cali Bowl with Tuna, salmon, avocado - Large
My boyfriend and I, avid poke enthusiasts, recently decided to embark on a culinary journey at Poke Guys, eager to sample their offerings and see how they stacked up against our favourites. Opting for the Mauna bowl, I assembled a masterpiece of spicy delights; spicy salmon, spicy seaweed salad, and a generous drizzle of fiery sauce. However, it seems I may have gone overboard with my spice obsession, as the heat quickly overpowered my taste buds. Despite the fiery onslaught, the bowl still managed to impress with its delicious combination of ingredients. Meanwhile, my boyfriend opted for the PG Classic Shoyu Salmon, a choice that proved to be a winner in terms of balanced flavour. The harmony of ingredients in his bowl showcased Poke Guys' prowess in crafting dishes that please the palate without overwhelming it. One thing worth noting is Poke Guys' interpretation of spice. Like many other poke places, their definition of "spicy" might not align with those who crave a serious kick of heat. Lesson learned for next time: tread lightly with the spice, as their version packs a punch! Overall, Poke Guys left us with mixed feelings. While my boyfriend's bowl was a hit and mine suffered from a bit of spice overload, the overall quality and flavours were commendable. It's a solid 3 out of 5 stars from us, and we'll definitely be back, armed with the knowledge to navigate the spice levels more wisely next time!
Delicious poke bowls in a simple and unassuming location, with good price for the portion size and quality. Service was great with all of our questions being answered and you can make your own bowl or use one of the pre-built menu items (regardless, can customize with some toppings and sauces). Easy and efficient to make and overall very tasty and fresh ingredients.
Mahalo iā 'oe !! The most authentic Hawaiian style poké I have grabbed on outside of the state hands down. An awesome joint and easily the best option in Vancouver with plenty of seating and a nice chilled, no fuss vibe. I had a BYOB Poké with classic Shoyu Tofu and Sweet and Sour Shrimp. This bowl was totally LOADED, I mean Phat... and WOW super yummy, fresh, vibrant and an array of flavor with incredible grade of poké soops coupled with innovative flavors made with care. The spicy wakame was total fire. I could happily eat this three times, every day and be the happiest dude in the world.. the hype is real and you have to try this, trust me. The server was such a nice lady and totally made my day too. This joint is dope, I'm eating here tomorrow too I already decided. Support local businesses!
First time trying a Poke bowl. I tried the Fire Fin bowl with spicy tuna, reg size. It was great. The recommended sauce that went on it was too spicy, so I'll try a different one next time. I like spicy, but it was too spicy when the spicy tuna was already spicy enough. My friend had the Californian bowl with mild tuna. To substitute it to spicy tuna is an extra $2, which didn't make sense to me, but it looked really good, so I'll it next as is.
Love the customizable options, variety of toppings, and sauce options, but the fish was heavy on the shoyu and we found it could have been fresher. The portion was quite big for a regular, but on the pricier side. I would recommend getting sauce on the side or it may be too overpowering. We ordered the Cali and Fire Fin! Both were quite good, the Fire Fin was a bit too salty/spicy especially with the kimchi. Environment could have been better—the lighting was dim/flickery.
This is the best value poke bowl I ever had in my entire life!!! The portion is huge, full of sashimi. Some creative and delicious combination like salmon with mango. We ordered 3 bowls take out and none of us was able to finish them. It was so much sashimi that after this I got sick of sashimi. I definitely will come back to try more.
Amazing food and staff. Not the most interesting place to eat in but works for me as I don t live in the area but I m there for work often so I like to talk to the staff.
Greta food, well served, many options. Not the best place to eat
very good portion size and fast service
I tried Cali with white rice but it didnt get cooked all the way through. Salmon and veggies were great but the rice was gooey and TERRIBLE. I won t come back here.
not fresh at all
Too salty, will ask for less sauce next time and update review edit: 3.5 tried light sauce and its def the way to go but its not my fav poke place compared to Hoki Poke, Poke Box, etc.
My favourite place to grab poke. Worth the price, as the the portions are big. Excellent flavours!
I used to go here all the time but they recently increased their price from what was already expensive to what is now too expensive. It s now over $25 with tax for a large bowl.. I walked in today, noticed the price increase and walked right out. Unfortunately it s just now too expensive for lunch. Too bad, I really liked this restaurant but I can t justify the new price. Really good food though- I ll give them that.
Liked the food, not the place.
Pokeguys is great, very tasty, however can be expensive for something considered fast food
Amazing poke! It was soooo hard to decide what to get but i will definitely be back to try more options :)
Good poke, I got it for $18 Very fresh salmon, very good. A little too much liquid at the bottom of the bowl (too much sauce). Good advice from the saleswoman for the choice of sauces.
Fresh ingredients and tasty poke combos! Ty
There was way too much sauce on mine. There was no dry portion of rice because all of it was soaked in sauce. It tasted way too creamy and heavy and I also think the topping to rice to fish ratio was messed up. It was also too salty. I got this when there was 80% off on ubereats and I would never get this at full price.
We loved these poke bowls, so good, and very filling.
I got the large Cali Bowl, a delicious mix of tuna, salmon and crab meet, and I chose a base half brown rice and half green leaves, I picked most of the garnishes and a mayo aioli sauce it was fantastic and got me really full!
I got the Aloha poke bowl, and it was delicious! They are really generous with toppings.
I have been visiting this place for 2 years now and man the way the quantity of protein has gone drastically drastically down from new year is disappointing. I always order large build your own bowl and it looks like the server s life mission is to flatten the scoop and not give an extra piece of fish. Earlier this was not the case they were generous with the amount of fish in a scoop instead if they felt it is not enough they used to go for another go. Now, the price has increased and quantity of bowl has gone down to 60-70% I would say. I am seriously looking for an alternate poké shop.
Sooo Delicious and fresh Excellent service too!
Simply the greatest Poke in T.O. Larger pieces (1) of fresh tasty Salmon, far better than the tiny pieces in other Poke restaurants. Fresh and custom bowls, friendly staff and LARGE bowls. Not kidding. Largest Poke bowls around. Dietary restrictions: Keto friendly..
I absolutely love this place. It was my favorite comfort food during exams and is very filling. I especially like the level of customization they have. Its a bit more expensive than I hoped but still very worth it.
Huge portions but found it a little too salty. The one with pineapple is really good though
The generous size of portions, fresh fish, delicious toppings! The difference between regular and large portions is that large contains 3 scoops of protein and small 2. Even though it s possible here to make your own poke, I ve tried here signature Cali and Pg and would strongly recommend them. It s also cheaper overall to order a signature poke rather than build something else from custom toppings and proteins. For poke base here you can choose white or brown rice, noodle or kale. Proteins - salmon, tuna, shrimp and tofu.
Easily the best poke in Toronto. Generous serving of poke and lots of toppings. I love that you can choose multiple sauces at no extra charge. Staff is nice as well. My favorites are the Fire Fin and Mauna Loa.
Completely inedible. It tasted very salty as if someone dunked a whole bottle of soy sauce on my order. My shrimp wasn t even cooked!!! It was still raw and grey in colour which is DANGEROUS. I don t know what kind of store this is- it s absolutely atrocious that they serve customers like this.
Amazing poke bowl!! Best Ive had in Toronto although I wouldnt say Im a poke bowl connoisseur or anything. The bowl was so delicious and they allow you to add so many different types of toppings and sauces. So so good. Highly recommend.
So delicious! Staff were super friendly and walked us through the ordering process, making a few great recommendations. The food was SO good- delicious and satisfying. We will definitely be back!
Had a good food, like a sushi in a bowl !
This is quiet place off the busy Eastons centre. The place is so clean and bright, the servers are so kind and friendly. We ordered GP and Mauna Loa large bowls. We asked for all the toppings. It was so good. Will totally go back.
Haven t found an authentic Poke spot with super fresh fish since coming back from Hawaii but we ve got it now. Incredible serving sizes and the poke is to die for!
Best poke in Toronto.
10 out of 10 very friendly stuff, and very good food
Very good Poke Bowls. I am no expert in this type of food, but I will definitely be back again!
Not enough places let you customize your bowl like they do! Really good, really fresh
Please clean your store. It is cluttered with boxes and quite dirty
These guys are great, fresh ingredients and tasty combos. Whats not to like! Also, good folks here, had a small clerical error and the staff ran after us to give the correct change.
Good poke bowl, well stocked.
My fav place to get poke. Good portion of fish to each bowl (vs competitors). Service is efficient and friendly. Restaurant is small so if you are here during prime meal time, might be difficult to get a seat (especially weekdays at lunch)
Great service! Food was pretty good too. My Nagrt Shrimp bowl was a bit too salty for me (the shrimp itself and the sauce), but the Mauna Loa poke bowl was pretty ok and spicy
The food was good but it was WAAAY too hot because there was no AC.
Best poke on the City!
Excellent poke bowl.
Poke Guys was a great spot for poke bowls but the quality went way down. Normally I recommend this to people in the area but I won t be any longer.
NOT the Freshest place in town anymore - quality has gone downhill.
My first time at Poké and it was terrific. The predefined menu offerings had lots to choose from and the Cali Bowl was super. The proteins (Tuna, Salmon) were fresh and tasty. The varied textures were terrific and Wow! was it ever filling ... I had a small and I could hardly finish it. I will be back.
Really nice server, food is good quality.
Amazing service by Michelle and Angela, true angels. They really took care of me and my baby accommodating the feeding time close to store closure and a great serving. I appreciated it so much. Thank you
large portions, tasty food, great service
I ve been here a couple times already, its my go to poke bowl place when I am near the Eatons centre. The portions are huge and and it comes with many free toppings. I ve found the rice to be a hit or miss at times (the white rice being hard).
Unfortunate customer service experience. I have ordered here several times before. At approximately 7:35/7:40 today I knocked on the door and window and called the restaurant to clarify their hours as they were closed earlier than 8 and this has happened a few times over the past few weeks. Two people were on staff at this time and completely ignored me as I knocked on the window and door for a few minutes. It would be appreciated if in the future staff can acknowledge customers as this was a bit rude.
Superrrr nice staff and amazing poke bowls!
WOWOWOWOWOW. Ive only ever had the pre-made poke bowls in Hawaii so the make your own bowl was different. But the server was very patiwnt and honestly I just asked her to put whatever it might taste good. I also like how much care they put into making things especially the spam musubi. I would rank this place as a hidden gem for not only having great food but also one that actually feels healthy once you finished. Theres no extra charge for the toppings. Also theres a washroom on site. Vegetarian options: Yes have vegetarian poke bowls Parking: Free parking after 9pm. But since its so close to NPS, you may have trouble finding a spot when theres events.
Great welcoming service, the poke bowls are packed also with great pre-made poke bowls selections or you can craft your own bowl. But the better deal of protein come with pre-made selection. Grab myself the Cali bowl. Only thing that can help with the experience is the restaurant not being fully finished (ceiling missing paneling)
Great quality, but bad value for the high price. Save and get a bigger bowl elsewhere unless you come for one of the signature bowls.
We normally are impressed and happy with the food at Poke Guys. Weve been there several times. Today we went and we got a mauona loa and a Cali bowl. The cucumbers were rancid and not fresh, and the California bowl tasted like expired food - sour like when milk tastes sour. Now we are scared we are going to get food poisoning. We called to tell the guy on duty, and he did not seem to care about offering compensation. My advice is to not go there.
New addiction! Fresh, Healthy and yummy.
Delicious food and amazing poke bowls. Fyi the mango was not ripe and therefore hard or sour or not tasty. Beautiful presentation. Would totally order again. Food
Best Poké joint I ve tried in ON thus far! Ingredients were super fresh and bountiful Staff working we re friendly/helpful Sashimi portions are very generous Moderately priced Pictured below: 1/2 tuna and 1/2 salmon build-your-own large poke bowl Toppings: seaweed salad, spicy cucumber, jalepenos, edamame, ginger.. (+ all the free ones) Bowl was VERY DELICIOUS and filling. It was the perfect amount for a hungry girl with a big appetite like myself Definitely no leftovers
Great poke bowls served by super friendly staff
Very friendly service, excellent portions (compared to other poké places I ve been). Removed one star because of the added costs to make your own bowl.
Loved by bowl :) delicious food!
Food was tasty. Been here a few times over the years. It s a bit pricey, but the large bowl can almost be split into two meals which makes it worth it? Angry shrimp bowl is good. Cali bowl is also worth a try, and seems to be one of the more popular ones.
Its an OK bowl of poke overall. The value is definitely good. The size is enormous and the price is better than anything else. I did find it to be a little fishy and not as fresh as I would like. But over all it was fine.
Today is the fourth time in two weeks the person cashing us tried to charge us way more than expected. Four times I have to double check the bill otherwise they add premium toppings instead of regular ones (they are also less generous with toppings than they used to be). If you think scamming customers that come twice a week since 2016 is the smartest move, think twice. I saved myself $6 today after calling them out on another mistake. They adjusted the bill but never apologize.
Big fan of poke guys and I always go to the Vaughan location. I was excited to see this location near my work. I went in and was a bit disappointed with the service. The girl behind the counter definitely hates working there. The restaurant itself does not look half as welcoming as the vaughan location. Vaughan location is definitely the best in terms of service and atmosphere. I also did not get as much fish as I usually get.
I got food poisoning, went there on Wednesday evening. I didnt eat anything but poke bowl that day Edit: I did contact but there was never a reply. Food
fresh, good flavor
Very delicious! Owners are pretty nice as well!
I had my first poke bowl here in summer 2021 and absolutely loved it since then I try every place but compare to them ! Really good food healthy and fresh .
EDITED: Had some problem with my order, but Poke Guys reached out to me. Excellent customer service!
Good portions, good salmon, my go-to stop for poke
I created an own bowl with shrimp and tuna. They put more than I expected!!! Regular size is enough for one person. I liked it!
Poke Guys Healthy Salad Fish Shop also has a branch in the city center. This one is near the Eatoncentre and the environment is relatively older than the Markham branch. The portion of salmon in the salmon fish salad is quite good, but the taste is not lost. Sometimes it is quite refreshing to eat it for a change.
Amazing place. I have been coming here since they first opened.
Amazing! Super fresh, delicious. All ingredients complimented one another to create a flavorful buccal burst.
Love this place! Came here again and their quality is as usual top notch!
It was so fresh and yummy! The portion of the regular size was great and I will definitely come back for the Aloha poke!
Good portions, taste fresh & wonderful. My favorite is classic shoyu salmon but with spicy sauce & unagi sauce.
I don t write reviews too often but this place was great and the service was even better!!! I had to ask for her name because she was so patient with me as it was my first time ordering. Crystal explained all of the stations very well and you could feel the kindness from within her. I had the incredible Cali bowl but will definitely try out the PG next:) thank you poke guys!
I was really excited to try this place based on the great reviews but was quite disappointed. I ordered my own poke bowl with tofu & shrimp & cauliflower rice. The contents filled only half of the container & for almost $15 with tax it wasnt worth it compared to some of the other Poke places around. Taste was meh compared to other places. Only pro was I ordered ahead & my food was really when I went to pick up.
Probably the best poke Ive ever had going again today!
Great poke and excellent people making it. An absolute favourite!
I got the regular size spicy bowl with cauliflower substituting rice and avocado as an addon. It was filling, delicious and just right in quantity. I highly recommend.
Best Poke bowls! Very large portion and ingredients are very fresh compared to a lot of poke places.
Love it, very tasty and good portions.
A poke place that I added to my poke hall of fame. I had the build your own poke, all ingredients were fresh and flavourful. My only issue was adding more sauce to the bowl while the proteins were already marinated, making the bowl overpowered by the sauces and soggy (avoid adding additional sauces). The service was great and the price-for-portion was worth it. Convenient location for chestnut residents! Overall, would be back!
I ordered the large Build Your Own poke, and it wasnt too bad. Taste is pretty solid. But the sauce mix was overpowering by the time I was half way through the poke bowl. The ingredients were really great but everything got overly salty by the end. Ill probably try something less saucy if thats the standard because it was enjoyable for the first half. The ingredients looked really fresh and very nicely prepped so an extra star for that. Will give it another try soon.
I been going to Poke guys for years and used to recommend all my friends to go here. This time I walked 20 mins there and the girl gave sooo LITTLE it was unimaginable. There was literally 4 pieces of salmon in my bowl and a few strands of seaweed. It didn t even fill me up. I was disappointed so I told another worker about it, instead of doing anything helpful, she gave me a 10% off discount for next purchase :/ Unfortunately, I don t think I m ever going to go back to this location. This experience literally isn t worth my time and money. Consistency is so important and I hope poke guys would let all their employees know that.
Cold tofu is disgusting. I don t know why they would serve the tofu cold it s GROSS!!! Sucks because the bowl was good otherwise but the tofu really ruined it for me and left me regretting the purchase. Also the coconut water tastes really bad and has added sugar 40 Grams (that s more than a pop has!) I paid $27 before tip on ubereats.
Ordered twice in 2 days. Generous portions and very tasty. Fish is fresh too, can t complain! Highly recommend
Very tasty with really good, fresh ingredients and friendly people!
Good service, average Poke Guys - got a custom box, was a little adventurous with the choices - maybe it just wasn t the best combination?
Top 2 poke on my list
Always fresh! Portions are generous!
My photo kind of didn t justify the taste, it tasted way better than the photo I took/how it looks from this angle. I ordered spicy salmon, I love that it actually is spicy, spicy salmon from some places aren t actually spicy. Added crispy onion which was great! Toppings are generous, there was a lot of salmon. Do give it a try!
Food was alright however the price signs were wrong and we were given the incorrect order. On the signs the build your own bowl is listed as $12, but we were charged $16. Very dissatisfied with this experience
Excellent service, extremely helpful with recommendations and suggestions for what are popular dishes
Seeking a quick and refreshing lunch? Poke Guys joint does not disappoint. When I visited, their line was out the door which is always a good sign, even if the ordering counter starts near the entrance. Upon entering, I noticed the regular bowl was big; the large size by ginormous! Cali Bowl was just right for the dreary day! It was filled to the brim with chunks of shoyu salmon & ahi tuna along with crab meat slaw, avocado and spicy aioli sauce on top of a choice of rice or noodles. Sure, the fish and toppings were tasty but it was their unique garnishes such as watermelon radish and furikake that made the difference in the meal. A visit to Poke Guys was worth the trek rain or shine. I have certainly be back again for more worth-it meal when Im craving a poke bowl. This includes PGs Bowl (shoyu salmon), Volcano Bowl (spicy shoyu salmon & spicy seaweed), Wasabi Octopus Bowl. All were hits.
decent poke, however, they have raised their prices pretty significantly over the last few years by ~20%! inflation is real! The poke itself is pretty good with lots of garnishes and toppings available. I got the aloha bowl, regular size and felt like some of the salmon pieces they used were scraps which made a $20 bowl not feel really worth it. I dont know if I would come back given the number of other poke places... but only time will tell!
Super helpful, tastes amazing !
Amazing poke. Consistently delicious!
Great food. Fresh.
I love this place! Been here several times. I usually get my go to salmon or tofu bowl and the portions are always generous, vegetables are fresh, rice is delicious, and the topping at the end are great! The sauce options are amazing too! I highly recommend coming here ^^
Best Poke I know. Friendly service at this location
Nice food !!! Love it
I loved the layout of the place, great service and excellent selection and variety of base/protein/toppings. It was almost too much protein compared to base (excellent scenario). Great value for money comparatively in the area.
Best poke bowl I had in Toronto.
Its been consistently good for years so thats always reassuring, lol.
Update: First time coming after pandemic and back to work. Super disappointed. Kale is mostly salad mix and wilted, the prices have increased substantially, portion size smaller. A large is now $21+ once you include tax. Didnt provide me eating utensils. Eat with my hands? I wont be coming back here for lunch anymore. I can see why they have no other customers. My favorite poke joint. The signature pokes bowl are all very good. Great fish portion compared to other places. Cali bowl is my fave.
Best poke in Toronto. Their portion sizes are very generous. And even though they re a little pricey, every bite is worth it. The ingredients for each item is very nicely arranged. The sauces are house made and they taste absolutely phenomenal. I try to go at least once every few weeks
excellent, great service, I recommand !!!
Great selection of proteins and sides across the kitchen. Can get a little overwhelming if you build your own. Very friendly service and was very delicious. Will be back!
I have never been big into sea food but this place changed all that. Great food, always delicious, great customer care and reasonable seating.
One of the best poke bowls Ive ever had. Had one of the store bowls instead of the make my own. Had tuna and salmon and a ton of goodies to add texture and flavor. The spicy seawood salad was the best. All of it had my nose running and I loved every bite. Highly recommend.
I visited Toronto for the first time and was looking to go to one of the top rated pokebowl restaurants. Having found Poke Guys, I was ultimately very disappointed. Each of the ingredients has no taste, no particular flavor. The sauces also disappointed me. I dont recommend it at all.
Absolutely amazing food in here! Everything was delicious. More of a take out place though IMO
Very nice and quite good
Wow now that s poke - Fresh ingredients. Portions are out of control. More than fair price. This is the spot for Poke, and let me tell you, I know my poke.
The food and service are both amazing, but I just cant justify paying $25 after tax for a large pokebowl, takeout. I know inflation happened but wow there is just a price point where the value just isnt there any more. Also for some reason their price is higher on Ritual than in person.
Very very good
Best poke bowl in the city. Salmon and Tuna are super fresh. Perfect selection of toppings. Best place to get a killer sushi in a bowl!
My lunch that I ordered was super great today! My bowl was very plentiful and they did not skimp out on any ingredients. The spicy aioli really gave it a great kick! Fish was fresh and everything came together really well
Best poke in Toronto!
I ordered my own bowl from them, I love the buffet choosen place like this
Had the Moana Loa and the food was a 5! Only rating a 4 because all the plastic packaging. Would be really nice if they had something biodegradable these days!
Wow! THE BEST poke bowl I had this year!
My favourite poke place in Toronto! I come here multiple times a week to get the Aloha bowl and I always get extra salmon because it s that good. They have a great drink selection I love their Philippine juices (mango, pineapple and calamansi which is like a sweet lemonade). Also, shoutout to their amazing staff they re super friendly and helpful. Ever since I first visited, their service has always been consistent. They re part of the reason why I always keep coming back
Best Poke in Toronto!
The service is amazing and salmon was fresh and tasted good but I don t really like the rice here. Every time I always feel the rice is a bit mushy but this time was worse . There were so many big chunks of mushy rice I couldn t eat If you don t like the mushy rice like me then I would not recommend here.
BEST poke in Toronto. The poke is very authentic and tastes just like places in Hawaii. Lots of selection of fresh fish and toppings!
My fave Toronto poke place. Recommend the Cali Bowl
Great dishes, great service
Excellent place to get poke bowls in the city. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. They have a wide arrange of proteins and toppings to choose from. The ambiance is something left to be desired. But since the pandemic, it has been takeout online so ambiance does not need to be top tier right now. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this spot for poke!
Really tasty, and fresh poke bowls with friendly staff
I love poke guys, my favourite poke place downtown. They are probably one of the more expensive options for poke, but the serving sizes are HUGE and they definitely never skimp on the fish and toppings. There are so many toppings that the hardest part is trying to mix the bowl without it spilling out. Their service is also always fast and very friendly.
To put it short and sweet, this place made me fall IN LOVE with poke. What I like about this place is that their pre-curated options are amazing. They give you a mix of nice ingredients and garnishes that complement each other nicely. And of course, the option to make your own bowl is great too. I had the Cali bowl and it was amazing. Great portions of tuna and salmon alongside the other items. The sauces were also great. What I also enjoy about this place is that it is nestled away in a nice area off Dundas. The place gets busy, but the quiet area (and nearby outdoor seating) makes up for it. Skip the other franchised poke places nearby and give this place a try. It will make you look forwards towards your next poke fix
Poke bowls are amazing here. The food is great but the service could be better
This was delicious! And these are quick and easy meals. Super friendly team at the Poke Guys - very helpful when creating a custom bowl. If youre sensitive to spicy, then I would recommend steering away from the spicy options as these have a bit more heat than other poke restaurants.
The food is diverse and delicious, the environment is clean, and the service is enthusiastic
I love how colourful poke bowls are as well as how light yet filling they can be when you eat them. I got the build your own option and love how simple it was to order. You start with your base, protein, toppings and sauces. I went with zucchini noddles as a base and really love how light it left me feeling compared to getting a heavier base. I also got a mix of honey glazed salmon and shrimp as my protein which I am glad I did for variety. I then got spicy aioli and a ginger based dressing. I got radish, green onion, coleslaw and ginger for toppings. Overall I felt even though I got lighter options, I left feeling full and satisfied. Great hospitality, thank you Poke Guys for offering a wonderful experience.
Amazing! Always a good time eating poke bowl from here. Especially the cali bowl with brown rice! Even tho its not ahi tuna currently its still amazing! The employees here make the bowls like a piece of art. Dont mind my pic.. I mixed everything
Best poke in Toronto. My first impression was hey its a bit expensive but later thats gone! Im 220lb guy and wasnt able to finish the whole large bowl. Sauces are on point. Long story short, Ill def go back to this place.
Got their vegetarian bowl that came with shoyu tofu along with zucchini noodles, and it was so delicious omg!! The zucchini noodles were the perfect texture, and it made the bowl very light & refreshing! Highly recommend if you want a healthier low-carb option hehe. The other bowl I got was their mauna loa bowl with white rice which came with spicy shoyu salmon, and both my mom & sis loved it! They liked the fresh salmon and how the bowl was very spicy. Will definitely be back again :)
Tasty
The food was really amazing. Had the build your own bowl with Salmon. The fish was fresh and tasted really good. Highly recommend this place to everyone.
Had various in the past, but yours is the best Poke Guys
The Mauna Loa bowl is delicious! The portion looked small but was very filling. The spicy salmon was really yummy too.
Good portion
Great portion for the large , had the cali. Fresh and must try for the price.
This has to be the best poke I have ever had! Customer service is great! Food is amazing! I highly recommend it.
Best value poke in the city. Fresh fish, huge portion, and flavours that work well together.
Absolutely love it here!! Go to lunch spot
Bowls were massive and the marinated fish was really good
Still my absolute favorite poke place in TO! Great portion size, great fresh fish and always great and friendly staff behind the counter
Fresh food, friendly staff.
Tasty bowls! Fresh ingredients and wide variety of choices. The salmon and tuna pieces were too thick (still delicious), our order was missing some sauce.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! I cannot stress this enough. I was skeptical at trying out poke bowls in general but when my coworker recommended this place to me, I was hooked. They also carry a guava drink which made it even better. 5/5
Best poke bowls ever!
Its delicious. I am however curious as to why most of the locations made a strict rules that no substitution are allowed. I can understand if it cost the store more but when someone asked to substitute salmon with soba noodles and they dont allow that, Isnt it good business sense to be ok with that? Im pretty sure that salmon cost a lot more.
So I come to poke guys really often and get their Moana Lua bowl which is normally AMAZING. The proportions are really big and usually the bowl fills me up the whole day. Ive been coming here for about 5 years now. However, I do not know why but when I went today for lunch and got my bowl, the quality was different. The person gave me a lot less portions than I normally get, the rice was really clumpy, and something hard? was in my bowl? Like a stone? It was just kind of strange. Was quite disappointed in the experience :/ Also fyi to everyone, their prices on ritual are more expensive than in person**
I got a poke bowl on DoorDash and have to say I was very disappointed, especially because of all the good reviews I have seen on here and heard in general. A large salmon bowl came out to $26 after fees and before tipping - not entirely the fault of poke guys because of DoorDash pricing, but I still had high hopes. The bowl was over-sauced, the pineapple was not fresh at all but clearly from a tin and the chunks were too big (disappointing for $1 extra), and they didn t even slice the avocado or cube it but instead just put a whole quarter of an avocado. There were also bits of raw onion in the bowl (I didn t order them, they came with the bowl) that were super punchy and did not taste good at all. To their credit the large size is very big. Honestly after a few bites and tasting the onion and the not-fresh pineapple I just felt the quality was so poor that I was at risk of potentially getting sick if they put as little care into the salmon as they did the rest of the bowl, so I threw it away. I have had much better poke from other places in the city for cheaper. I ve never left a bad review before, but I would absolutely not recommend this place, and hopefully you can save nearly $30 by getting a bowl elsewhere.
Consistently good poke, friendly service and fresh ingredients! This place is always on point. Only small complaint is a bit slow service time and limited seating.
