I picked up an ice cream cake here and there were sharp plastic pieces sprinkled throughout due to the very poorly trimmed plastic liner that they put around the cake wall. Head office was no help. Owner worked with me to get a resolution. Thank you.

Just had the mango soft serve and it was delicious! The gentleman who served us was so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Came here for a sweet treat on a mid-week evening and the staff was SO NICE!! Not only is the ice cream delicious, but Alpesh was so enthusiastic, he genuinely loved his job and it showed. Will be back again and again!

The owner here was incredibly friendly and helpful when we visited. There are so many options to choose from, from ice cream to mini donuts to crepes and lava cakes. The vibe was also very pleasant.

An excellent quality soft ice cream. The toppings are good but that top quality ice cream is key. A bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for.

By far, my favourite ice cream experience in the entire city. The staff behind the counter, especially the gentleman, were so incredible. I was ready to tip $5 because I was blown away by the care and kindness, only to find there was no tip option when paying. I got a dipped ice cream in caramel/chocolate and with chopped almonds on top. I keep daydreaming of it. I cant wait to go back. I went on a Friday and it was buzzing. Perfect date night to grab an ice cream and walk by the beach.

Nice collection of ice cream toppings and cakes. Can get repetitive after a few visits as the ice cream base predominantly vanilla with different dips and toppings.

Great ice cream place! The gentleman at the counter is so nice and considerate with every ice cream order he takes. I got their cotton candy with rainbow sprinkles (2 scoops), while my fiancé got their salted caramel and chocolate (2 scoops). Both flavours are DELICIOUS! We haven t even tried their wide range of sorbets just yet! The portions he put in the cups were also super generous! They also sell Cheesecake Factory products and their own ice cream cakes and regular cakes; definitely worth a try. The cups to go are also a super convenient option for those looking to take some quick (and very fairly priced) ice cream home. Love coming here and will be back again soon!

I came here with my friends today, while visiting from England. I mentioned to the man behind the counter, who was so kind, that I have a nut allergy. It was not a problem and I had an amazing soft serve ice cream, dipped in chocolate. I ll definitely be back!

Their dips are diversified and can be extremely decadent. I do prefer the ice cream alone without those rich loaded with guilt dips. They are delicious

I wish people who work there had some sort of time sense. There were preparing an order and was ensuring me to take 6/7 minutes. After waiting for exactly 28 minutes when I asked to check how long is it going to take, one of them started getting aggressive saying that you can cancel it if you don t want it. Great job man!

Hands down the best ever softy at The Beaches. Taste+Quantity per dollar . I frequently opt for the scrumptious Chefs cake choice for delivery. I love the surprise factor in it. Never been disappointed. The cakes are always fresh. Also the choco lava cake is yum. If you take a stroll down Queen st. east do visit in person for the best softies. Again, softies and cakes for now. Will try more!

One of my favourite places and a Friday post-school routine with the kids. A good owner remembers your face, but Alpresh remembers your kids names and their favourite orders. The absolute best guy - very sweet and hilarious. Family-run and a staple for the Beaches!

We searched for this place after having just finished dining nearby. The place was very charming and have such fun vibes. There are a lot of sweet food options, and food combinations to choose from. For donuts, you have your choice of dip and sprinkle. We only got to try the regular donuts and not the ice cream. What disappointed me in the end after trying the donuts was that they came out very hollow and full of air. I wished they were a little more stuffed so as to make every bite that much more filling.

The people who work at this location are so nice! Donuts are tasty (went after work at like 8pm and they tasted fresh) lots of different options to pick from. Great addition to the area!

Their milkshake was a disappointment to the actual drink. They took the name so literally and filled the milkshake almost fully with milk. Barely any ice cream. Tasted like I was only drinking milk. Plus it was almost $7 for that! When I went back to tell them, I wasn t offered a new one or anything. I think I ll stick to Ed s Real Scoop.

The crepes were a disappointment. They did not have bananas. Portion size was a joke. Never coming again.

Aug 2020 visit - Went there for the vegan option. I get there and it is super busy and super loud...which was fine, I loved the energy. I ask about the vegan option. He tells me that they have vegan cookie dough ice cream...great I say, Ill take it. He hands me a cup full of cookie dough but no ice cream...sorry were out of the vegan ice cream, heres some cookie dough...LMAO...ummmmmm, what?!? I paid for something that I can make better at home. So disappointing. Hubs liked his Ice cream.

Love coming here in the summer. Staff are full of energy and the place is clean and smells amazing when you walk in. If you, do ask for a doggy come for your furry friend!

They were so friendly and accommodating! We stopped in late to get some icecream after checking out Luminato, I got the cinnamon donuts, yummy! They followed all the distancing rules and asked a couple people to wait outside while we ordered, awesome people!

The store is full of flavors

Decent, tasty icecream, bit overpriced, little consistency with portion sizes, however most importantly this place is a health hazard! Multiple times now I have received pieces of peanuts in my toppings that werent supposed to have any peanuts (cotton candy, sprinkles etc.) If you have a peanut allergy, stay away as they clearly do not care about cross contamination!

Our first time here... enjoyed their dipped cones and friendliness service. We will be back for more. Highly recommended to everyone

AH MA GAD!! Come here and buy icecream. Theyll dip it in one of their many chocolate sauces. THEN, theyll dip it in a topper, like sprinkles. Only then, do you get to eat it. After waiting for 30 mins in a queue around the block youll stuff it in your face, and wish youd bought two. Queue, eat, repeat.

I tried the soft serve speciality they have for the first time today. Tried the dark chocolate and mango syrup. Fantastic! Woman behind the counter was extremely nice too.

Had a great experience at this location. I was served by Alpresh (sry if I spelled it wrong) and he should be getting a raise by the high level of customer service he provided! He helped carry out my orders and even provided us free pup cones that my husky and jack russel LOVED. Thank you for being so patient with my indecisiveness haha. Endless possibilities! The server gave us a full walk through on how to choose our ice cream. He stayed patient with us even though it took a while for us to choose our flavours. Great service and it tasted amazing.

My first time placing the order from door dash. I ordered vanilla ice cream with Belgian chocolate topping and almonds my daughter ordered pumpkin spice cheesecake. The cheesecake was awesome it was creamy soft not too much sugary we loved it but my ice cream was okay was an average ice cream that you could ve got from any grocery store. I definitely recommend trying the cheesecake.

Beautiful place

We went there today, and although it was pretty tasty, the service left a lot to be desired. There was only one employee working, making the food and also working the cash. This made for an extremely long wait. Only one family was allowed in at a time, and Id say each family took around 10 minutes to complete their orders. Also, everything seemed really expensive. I ordered a waffle cone ice cream with a dip, and it came out to $7.50 including tax. There was also a big airy hole down the middle of my ice cream after taking the first bite.

Sold me cheese cake slice that was frozen solid. Was not a frozen dessert. Couldnt get a fork through it, it was hard as a rock. No return or refund Threw it in the garbage. Waste of time and money.

We went there yesterday for an ice cream and the experience was really disappointed. First to all, the system is not very intuitive. There are ice creams, soft serves and cookies, but you dont have the flavors anywhere,.nor the options.. I ordered an ice cream sandwich with cookies. First, the cookies were really hard, so I couldnt eat it as a sandwich. I had to eat the ice cream first and then break the cookies with my hands and get all full for the dip. My girlfriend ordered a soft serve with a chocolate dip, however the dip never gets hard, so it was melting all over her hands...

Wish they had more vegan/plant based options

Was actually a bit offended...I know they have a post that says wear a mask but we have seen people coming in and out with no masks and as soon as we enter they told us they wont serve us because we werent wearing masks...and it felt like they were kind of profiling us just because we were the only blacks there..that is definitely not the right thing to do at all

Soft serve is run of the mill I like the nifty cup for the cones but it spills over the edge due to the design and can cause more mess. The soft serve is pulled in a way where it leaves a huge hole in the center all the way down to the cone. great for profit not for enjoying eating.

We tried franks sugar rush and it was amazingly good. The manager knew right away we were noobs and explained to us how the menu worked he was so very helpful he made the experience a lot more easier to to get the kind of ice cream we were looking for. If you are on queen street east you have to check out this place the price was pretty fair for how delicious the icecream is....so many different dips and toppings...so so many.

Walking back to our place from the very end of Boardwalk at the beach and wanted to eat some ice cream. Stumbled on this place and we went back a couple of times before we left Toronto. Girls behind the counter were friendly and helpful.Worth the money paid for experience /taste. Took the Pistachios and dark chocolate , both were great. Takes credit cards.

Not as good as I had hoped. Tasted good but was difficult to eat on the cone - the dip cracked and was sliding off. Next time I would get ice cream in a cup. Also seemed a bit overpriced.
