We visited the restaurant and The service was just as impressive as the food attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the experience, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. The employees Nandini and the drinks which Kajol recommended were also very good.

Travelled 200Kms for the triple shezwan and wasn t disappointed!! The appetisers are top notch and the staff here is quite cooperative especially Nandini!

The food is SO GOOD. We tried the Crispy Cauliflower, the Hakka Fried Rice and the Schezwan Panner. All of the items were excellent! Will definitely come back again.

The food and service here were absolutely 5/5 stars. It was a not so busy Thursday night, and the chef served the meal, which was a medium spicy lamb curry with naan bread. Mine was the best curry I ve had in a long time, although I ve heard that the Hakka dishes are really delicious as well. I certainly can t fault the food or service here. Both surpassed my expectations, which were quite high to begin with. Come and try for yourself - you won t be disappointed!

We had a overall good experience here. But i felt the light was dull and space was congested. Chinese food was great but dal and shahi paneer in the main course could have been better. Gajar halwa was a must have. Raj and kajol were amazing though

Some of the best food Ive had in a while! The biryani was super delicious and very beautifully presented - in fact, all the plating was gorgeous. The meats were melt in your mouth and the curries were nuanced and delicious. Such delicate but complex flavours! Our server was also super lovely, attentive, and quick! And they make a great cocktail :)

I have visited the place three times, first I had chinese, then indian veg curry and starters and then again I had chinese. They have the best Chinese food in my opinion and the curries are also very good. The most amazing thing is that, that the taste of the food has remained consistent everytime & this time I took my friends with me and the service was very quick. All of my friends loved the food and they were very happy. So keep it up, we expect you to remain consistent as always. Thank you.

The food was enjoyable, but the service was severely lacking. Despite there being only three occupied tables, there were just two servers for the entire dining area, and neither seemed focused on the customers. They spent more time inside the kitchen than attending to us. We waited an excessive amount of time just to place an appetizer order, and then the same long wait for the main course. It was disappointing and frustrating. Good customer service is essential, and this experience definitely didn t reflect an upscale dining standard.

I ordered munchie soup for takeout and this is what it looks like.. The vinegar had gone bad it was all foggy The schezwan chutney was bad And the soup looks too sad!! This is my second time and I had a bad experience with Bawra I don t think I am ever coming back!!!

My experience at Bawara was amazing, the staff was very polite. The food was amazing and I was served with some amazing Hakka food. I had ordered Triple Schezwan and Chilli Garlic noodles. They were very well made to the perfect point and had amazing flavours. Kudos to the chef and the team for a great setup. Will definitely recommend to try it!!

Bawara has been one of my most favourite spots in downtown for a while now ! Whenever Im craving desi Chinese or Hakka cuisine, this is where youll find me. Our server, Kajol was super nice and took time to recommend dishes according to our likes and spice level. 10/10 for service! One of my most favourite things to order here is the Triple Schezwan Chicken. Now, manchow soup is also added to my list of favourites! Highly recommended spot

Excellent food and lovely drinks. Nandini made excellent cocktails and we ended up having 6 cocktails when we were even not planning to get drunk. Food is amazing. Bawara exceeded all my expectations during my recent visit, and a huge part of that was thanks to Kajol, my incredible server. From the moment I walked in, Kajol s warm smile and genuine hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. She was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations that enhanced my meal. Now, let s talk about the showstopper: the Chicken 65. Words don t do justice to how extraordinary this dish was! Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and packed with bold, mouthwatering flavors that had me savoring every bite. Kajol even explained the dish s origins, which added a personal touch and made me appreciate it even more. It s rare to find a restaurant where both the food and service shine equally, but Bawara nails it. Kajol is a true gem, and the Chicken 65 is a masterpiece I ll be dreaming about for weeks. If you haven t been here yet, you re missing out on a culinary experience that s second to none!

1. The restaurant is close to the station so my friend and I can have time for our lunch there before going to the airport. 2. It is spacious for us to have dishes, luggage and comfortable to talk to each other when we wait for the food. 3. The menu has vegetarian options and we picked tandoori chicken, palak paneer, garlic naan, masala chai, honey lemon tea. 4. Service is good and the food is yummy. 5. Restrooms inside are provided to clean the hands before and after meals. They are not busy and overall the restaurant is clean.

Tandoori chicken was perfectly spiced and very flavourful! The mango lassi was amazing. Also enjoyed the Hakka fried rice. Sandeep our server was a pleasure.

We had lunch here and ordered the Madras curry and paneer with garlic naan. Food was excellent and the music playing was perfect for mood. We really enjoyed it and have enough for another meal or two w leftovers!

First time trying Hakka. Some of the dishes were very good- the momos, one of the curries and the chilli chicken. The triple Szechuan rice was way too rich for our taste, too much sauce. The servers were kind but found the music too loud. Would probably come back and give it another try!

The food was great. Something properly Indian that we were craving for in winter. Their soups are especially good. Paya soup and kala chana soup were our favorite

I recently visited Bawara restaurant and had an overall enjoyable experience. I had the Mutton Paya Soup, which was flavorful but lacked enough mutton pieces. The Honey Chilli Cauliflower was outstanding crispy and perfectly seasoned. The Kanpur style Aloo Tikki was delicious, with a great blend of flavors. Overall, a good dining experience.

I was feeling quite homesick and decided to give bawara a shot, and I must say it was an amazing experience. The food hit all the right spots and reminded me of home. I got the chilli garlic noodles which I was craving and it was just perfect. Special shoutout to the super attentive server, Kajol who was just lovely and made our group feel comfortable quickly. 10/10 would recommend!

This review is for a takeout experience only. It was my first time here as I wanted to pickup some food on my way home from work. Extensive menu with lots of Indian Hakka and veggie options. Baingan Bharta is one of my faves at any Indian restaurant so I opted for the Junglee Bharta, and I rarely see Achari (pickling spices) available anywhere so I also got Achari Goat. I had rice and naan at home so I only bought the two curries which came to $42. Please note the card machine starts the tip at 18% ($7 and change). I should have exercised my right as a consumer and simply picked Other to choose a lower amount, because the server did not say one word or interact with me one bit, and it s takeout - but he was staring, so against my better judgement, I clicked on 18%. I was not offered a glass of water while I waited for my food, so I helped myself to some at the water station and had to pick thru several water glasses because the first couple were not clean (oily fingerprints). As for the food, I did have raised expectations having just spent $50. Eggplant is something I usually order as a litmus test in Indian restaurants to assess their food quality and technique. This Junglee Bharta sadly did not have any smoky roasted eggplant aroma or flavour, and contained roughly 25-30% stale frozen peas (some were tough and powdery like an old apple) which seemed like filler to me. The Achari Goat dish lacked acidity to balance out the ghee and the spices didn t seem properly aromatized - lots of solid spices like cinnamon bark and bay leaf in my takeout container but not very flavourful. As I m writing this I just remembered that I went with Medium for heat - all I feel is mild disappointment. Finally, in regard to the ambience, if you are going to visit and try to have a conversation with your friends in the room, good luck shouting over the club-level volume of music. Could have been 2 stars but will leave it at 3, giving some benefit of the doubt that I ordered the wrong items today.

We were in the area craving Indian food when we stumbled upon Bawara and it turned out to be an absolute gem! The food was amaaaazing, with flavors that were rich and authentic. The portions were generous, unlike anything I ve seen at other Indian spots and the ambience was superb! A special shoutout to Rajshree and Kajol, who were the sweetest and made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

I got the takeout for Panner Devil and Triple Szechuan Fried rice. I don t know if the reviews are brought or the restaurant provides discount to customers who provide good reviews. Based on the review I picked this place for my Friday dinner. The noodles aren t fresh to get started with. Looks like it was from the previous day or extra over cooked. The place is pricey for the taste and the quality.

Very delicious food we were served by Nandini, very great service, she explained the ingredients the gravies were made of. We ordered a chicken biryani and kadhai paneer with butter naan and garlic naan. The KADHAI PANEER is a MUST for ordering. Im telling you guys you wont regret ordering KADHAI PANEER WITH GARLIC NAAN. The kadhai paneer was so delicious perfectly made, soft paneer, creamy gravy impeccable taste . And let me tell you about the garlic naan it was so flavourful proper taste of garlic was in there softly made naan as well as crispy you would love it .
