We went for the dinner buffet. Place looked clean - washrooms were clean. Decor is a bit dated but overall fine. The service was excellent, very attentive, and polite. The food was good. I was expecting a bit more in terms of flavor but it was good, the food is made for a Canadian palate. The spice is almost non existent (speaking strictly about the buffet - not the a la carte menu). I really enjoyed the sizzling plate and the fresh naan. The main dishes were good, filling with a decent variety of foods - butter chicken. goat curry, paneer, vej curry, chickpea and some biryani - desert is ice cream and a couple other indian favs. I would definitely return if Im downtown - price was very reasonable under $70 with 2 non-alcoholic drinks and all you can eat for two - Recommend. Vegetarian options: Good filling and a variety of vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: If your kids like Indian food, theyll enjoy this - not spicy, fresh naan, ice cream. Simple options for kids.

Worst place Is that your rule of restruant that each time a customer puts in review that they need to upload proof of visit?. Please do write that outside your restaurant. And my life is not all about your restaurant. May be if you put your ego down and work on the place clean it a bit then it would make sense. Thank you

Amazing Indian cuisine, attentive friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you want to enjoy some of the best Indian dishes you will ever have this is the place you want to dine at. Highly recommend the dinner buffet as you are able to sample so many of the delicious flavors that come from their kitchen. The butter chicken, sizzling grilled chicken kabobs, and garlic naan were a few of my favorites. Please check this fine establishment out, you will not be disappointed and will leave well fed and have experienced exceptional hospitality.

We had such a lovely evening at Bombay Palace downtown. The food was delicious (we tried many meat dishes) and the service outstanding. A wonderful evening of good food and conversation.

They hosted a pvt event for a group of 40. They closed down the restaurant for us and we had the whole place to ourselves on a Sunday evening. The staff was great and the manager paid special attention to everyones needs and went over and above to make the gathering memorable and pleasant. The food was good, I liked the chicken Malai Tikka and the gol gappe. Fab location and the decor needs a refresher but it doesnt deter me from going there again.

The food at Bombay Palace is amazing to say the least. Incredible experience here. The server Rajiv was really friendly and clearly cared about our experience. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere with a beautiful interior and pleasant music playing. That was all good and made the experience great but the food put it over the top! Really really good buffet that has lots to choose from and everything tasted great. Also it was only 20$ for lunch. I really don t know where else in Toronto you can get such good food and service for such a low price. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for an Indian spot to eat.

Bombay Palace is an absolute treasure: everything about it, the food, the warm, unique atmosphere, and the outstanding service. Situated near the St Lawrence Market and easily accessible by TTC, or by car. Love this restaurant a welcoming destination to which we will return often. I was a regular at this restaurant because my office was close by After covid I didnt think that they would come back Yesterday I went for their buffet for the first time in about 5 years and it was amazing I just wish the Tandoori Chicken was part of the buffet because I missed it so much I plan on bringing my whole family next week

We went for buffet, food was not fresh from taste, also buffet desert option was only mango custurd. Very disappointed. Also they charged service tax without informing and i paid good amount of tip also, I only realised when checked the bill. I will not suggest to go there in group. We used to go before Covid and food option was great and tasty. Now quality of the food is not same. Very mild in flavour and did not felt like I had indian food.

Went to this restaurant today and had buffet after a long time. The food was really good and the service was excellent. We finally had authentic Indian food and there was a lot of options including pani puri which was again very tasty. I will highly recommend everyone to visit this place and also plus one for the best butter chicken I have ever had.

Recently visited bombay palace, it was extremely disappointed with the experience. The service was incredibly poor, with staff displaying unprofessional and inappropriate behavior. The buffet offered very limited food varieties, making it difficult to find something appealing. To make matters worse, the billing was incorrect. They assumed our child, who is under the age of 5, should be charged more. This assumption was not only incorrect but also unprofessional. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. There are plenty of other places with better service, more food options, and accurate billing practices.

It is close for good ?

We enjoyed the dinner buffet a few times now, it s not a huge buffet but it has plenty to cover all your needs. Great food, great service and amazing price for downtown Toronto. Parking: There is street parking close by as are a few large parking garages close by. We parked at Church and King Market Square.

Ive had trouble actually getting a chance to try this - but now that I finally have I am very grateful that I made the effort. Great, amazing food. Full of flavour, good portion sizes, not too oily (as sometimes happens with Indian), and a great selection on the menu. While I have never ate in, only take out, I wont speak to the atmosphere beyond the pick up room. The price is a little high, but I think the value proposition is good, as I said before the portion sizes make it worth it. On top of all this, the staff are actually really nice, friendly, and really easy to work with - when you can get a hold of them.

Dont post reviews often but felt obliged given some of the recent mixed reviews. Decided to try Bombay Palace on Sunday and it was fantastic. The gentleman that greeted us on entry and ended up being our server was an absolute delight. His positivity and energy were so genuine. It really added to the experience. The food was excellent - nothing we had was less than good. Even had some left overs the next day and it was just as good. The price was about average so no issues there. The interior could use some updating but everything looked clean and tidy so really cant complain. Will go going back again soon.

Great service and buffet at a very reasonable price

I went Bombay Palace this evening. Although the food was ok, the service was excellent. It was the same atmosphere I went to 20 years ago.

This is one of the best places in Downtown Toronto with exotic, aromatic and delicious food. We and all our family and friends are so glad to find this place with charming ambience and more than that so much positive and energetic vibes. Yesterday, we hosted our little princess birthday party at this place and I must say Mr. Rajeev and his entire team were simply amazing and awesome. I have no words to thank him and his entire team. They are so welcoming, humble that it just feels like home. Everyone loved the food and had a great time. Looking forward to more family gatherings.

We had an official get together m. The food, drinks were below average. Would certainly avoid to visit this place in the further.

This restaurant gave us exceptional service. We wanted to dine in for my friends birthday but we were worried about costs and portion sizes since we were a large group. I will not suggest this Resturant to anyone . Poor quality food. Had a buffet today (27/04/2024), with less food options, in which every dish they had a sweetness flavour added to it (even for spicy foods).In desserts section the oil they used to make Jalebi was low quality and not able to keep in mouth. Even the chicken was not fresh. Regret for the money spend by not providing quality food to the customers.

Our favourite and most frequented restaurant in all of Toronto. Taste and service is 10/10 The food is excellent and delicious, made from the highest quality of ingredients. The quality and taste holds up in every dish offered. The service here is truly special, from how they treat you over the phone, to when you enter restaurant, and when you are sitting down at your table, all of your needs are always taken care of to the highest degree. The staff is extremely welcoming, warm, and really make you feel like you are family. They always take the extra step to make your experience memorable. $23.99 per person for Saturday dinner buffet. Very good price for what you get, although some of the food was getting cold for us. There are about 10 curries with other warm and cold app dishes. Good enough variety, I was stuffed after just 2 plates. Servers were very kind and pleasant. Also the dinner buffet is only between 5:30pm and 8:30pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The best Indian unlimited buffet in downtown Toronto, at such a good price, great ambiance and great service by the manager. Although they offer fewer varieties of food items, they did not compromise on the quality and taste of the food. Their naans are the best I have had. Value for money.

We hosted a farewell party here and I cannot speak enough about Mr. Rajiv, the manager. If you re planning on hosting an event here contact him, he will not disappoint. The food was phenomenal, the service was excellent, the staff really cared about the guests. What I really appreciated about the manager Mr. Rajiv is how at ease he will make you feel. As with any party, there were so many little details that needed taking care of. The RSVP s kept changing last minute, but Mr. Rajiv was relaxed, easy going and the party ended up being a blast. I m looking forward to hosting my next event there again.

We recently had a small get together with a group of people and I must say we had a great experience. We were served with some delicious appetizers, starting with mouthwatering chaats and some grilled items (both veg and non-veg). And then the main course was also super tasty. My favourite was the Masala Goat Curry.. There was also ample space for us to have some fun activities. Mr. Rajiv who heads the restaurant, has been a very nice and accommodative person. He made sure that our event would be well organized and the guests would leave with the satisfaction of having good food. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality

Truly my favourite Indian joint. Always a hit with friends and the service is unbeatable. Incredibly generous and very affordable. Their menu offers gluten free and lactose free alternatives as well as a great vegetarian selection.

Very good food, especially the samosas, specialty naans, and lamb vindaloo! The chai is made to order from scratch and was full of warm spice flavor. The service was excellent - they were so happy to have us there on Christmas Eve! What a great experience.

Ordered a catered meal for 40+ people. It was an absolute pleasure working with Bombay Palace! Rajiv was extremely patient in accommodating numerous dietary requirements and allergy info of oir guests. Plus, the chicken biriyani and naan were delightful. They were dependent, highly responsive and made the whole experience really smooth :)

THE BEST CHICKEN TIKKA AND NAAN! Rajiv and Bombay Palace Team catered our 40ppl community dinner and it was a huge success! Everyone was talking about how good the food was. Rajiv also helped in the planning of the event and offered really helpful suggestions. We also got big trays of biriyani both chicken and vegan and both were so flavourful! Also appetizers. Fresh! Tasty! They also offer tiffin services. Bombay Palace is amazing you should definitely check them out! I still cant forget the delicious naan and tikka cant go wrong with this restaurant

Rajiv is amazing. The chef does everything well, from lamb roganjosh to garlic naan to chicken samosas. Highly recommend. My husband swears by the mint sauce. Vegetarian options: So many choices Kid-friendliness: Rajiv loves children.

The food, my experience and service were beyond my expectations! We walked pass this place and decided to give it a shot. It is a hidden gem! phenomenal aloo tikka chaat! generous portions that we had to get to go and loved the design of the place. spice was on the higher side, even my Indian friend was surprised how spicy medium even was. the chili naan is good if you like spice but it was too spicy for us. the food however took quite a long time to come even though we were the only ones there. Vegetarian options: its an Indian place, plenty of options!

I hesitated ordering from this location because of mixed reviews, but finally caved and ordered delivery and am so glad I did! The butter chicken and naan were delicious, and I thought the paneer makhni bowl had great flavour. The chicken tikka angara was a bit tough, but enjoyed the smoky grilled chicken nonetheless. Will definitely be ordering from here again, and looking forward to trying some new dishes!

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Went for dinner buffet with a large group (work event) and they had no problem accommodating us. They even temporarily closed down to the public for our private event! We were all greeted with the friendliest hospitality from the owner and staff, very welcome sight! I recently visited Bombay Palace with high expectations, hoping to savor some delicious Chole Bhature. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be quite unpleasant. The Chole Bhature dish I ordered was an absolute letdown and fell short of even the most basic standards. Firstly, the dish was drenched in an excessive amount of oil, making it unappetizing and heavy. The overpowering oiliness took away from the flavors of the dish and made it incredibly difficult to consume. It left a greasy residue on the plate, further highlighting the poor execution. Furthermore, the chole (chickpea curry) had a stale aroma, indicating that it may not have been prepared using fresh ingredients. The staleness of the dish was a major turn-off and diminished any hope of enjoying the meal. To make matters worse, when I inquired about the excessive oil, the chefs response was far from satisfactory. Instead of addressing the issue or offering an apology, the chef nonchalantly brushed it off, stating that it was how the dish was meant to be. This lack of concern for customer satisfaction was disappointing and made the experience even more disheartening. Even though my dining companion and I were hungry, we struggled to muster the strength to finish the plate. The poor quality of the Chole Bhature made it nearly impossible to enjoy, let alone consume a complete portion. It was truly a waste of money and left us unsatisfied and disappointed.

Im a regular customer of this place, and their takeout service has never disappointed me. One thing that stands out for me is their perfect spice level. Whenever I order, I make sure to get their delectable Kadai Paneer paired with their fluffy and buttery Naan.The overall quantity of their food is consistently good, making it my go-to spot for a satisfying Indian meal.

Having ordered it in, here are my honest observations... Butter Chicken was nice. Tasty chicken that resembled shredded consistency. Nice combo of sweet to heat. Chicken Tikka Masala was better. A few pieces here and there of onion, tomato and green pepper mixed with that same chicken but a few extra larger pieces.Interesting consistency resembled possibly being re-heated. Regardless, the Tikka Masala is the winner between these two. Its all about taste here. Would consider ordering again. No Carbs therefore no Naan of which they appear to have a large choice of. 3.75/5

We held our college alumni gathering(about 45 people) a few days back at Bombay Palace Downtown Toronto and we all had awesome experience there. The whole restaurant including the party room was booked for us. Right from the beginning till the end, Rajiv (owner) helped us alot with menu selection, logistics and coordination. The food was very tasty, served hot and reasonably priced. Rajiv and his team went over and above our decided menu and prepared additional pleasant surprises for us on the event day(no additional cost). Rajiv and his team were very welcoming, cordial, gracious and easy to deal with. The restaurant has very good ambience. All of our alumni loved the event. All in all we had 5 star experience and we are very glad that we chose Bombay Palace for our event. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Decent food, good staff

Some of the best service Ive ever experienced at a restaurant. They were warm, welcoming and insisted on preparing my favorites and I have never dined there before. Almost like going to Aunties house and being catered to whether you are hungry or not. While I wouldnt say it was the tastiest indian food Ive had, the service would have me return again and again.

We organized our baby shower at Bombay Palace Downtown Toronto. And I believe we took the best decision by choosing this place and their service for the baby shower. We wanted to make this event memorable for us and our guests. Mr. Rajiv and his staff made no stone unturned for making this event best possible. Everyone loved food, ambience and hostility by the staff. We would definitely recommend Bombay Palace for anyone looking to organize any event.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts with amazing customer service, highly knowledgeable staff and yummiest dishes were provided, they presented food beautifully, my favorite part was the wonderful dessert mostly the kheer, its a must try. We ordered food from Bombay palace for our Corporate Diwali Party. We had a last minute request and so happy that they accommodated and provided us the best food spread. The food was very delicious and the quantity was also very good. Special mention to Rajiv who really helped us with this last minute request and was so prompt in all the responses. Went for lunch buffet, its an OK place for Indian lunch buffet in DT TO. They had channa masala, butter chicken, goat curry, veggie stir fry, saag curry, Punjabi Kadhi pakora, plain or garlic naan and basmati rice. I liked the chana masala and the fresh garlic naan. Lunch buffet was $18.99 and dinner buffet is $21.99. There was no Tandoori chicken, the owner said they serve that for dinner buffet. Overall, not too bad if you want to grab a quick lunch.

I took my friend friend to this place who was new to Indian cuisine. We had a buffet there in weekday on Thursday. There were limited items 4 veg curries(palak paneer, chola masala, mix veg and curry pakoda)and 2 non veg curries(butter chicken and goat curry ). There were only one starter frozen samosa only. 2 sweets were there one gulab jamun and cake and ice cream. Hot Naan were served on table. Quality of food was good. Since the place is in downtown and prices are bit higher but still worth going there. Good for taking people who are new to Indian food the spice level was mild to medium.

Very dirty place, traces of grease everywhere, the ceiling almost collapses. The food is decent, but the service is slow. Please note that rice is not included in dishes with sauces.

I subscribed to the tiffin service. The food is really good. It tastes very much like home cooked food without too much oil. The owner, Rajiv, is quite responsive to any requests. Highly recommend for home style North Indian food.

We went there as a team more than 10, and had a wonderful lunch. Sevice was great, personally the food was also good, but some said little less spice than other Indian cousine. (Which I/majority liked it more) Vegetarian options: There were good vegetarian options that everyone even not a vegetarians also grabbed and satisfied.

Ordered a bunch of food, waited over and hour and then tell me my order was cancelled for no reason. When you try to call the restaurant no one answers and voicemail is full. Now I understand why people say dont order food from Bombay palace . Very disappointed in lack of communication and no respect for peoples time

Great portions and value, really nice staff. Maybe not literally the best in flavour and quality, but you get more than what you pay for even before considering the portions. This will be a staple of mine.

I have been using Bombay Palace s meal plan service for the past few months. Food tastes incredible, is healthy, offered in good quantities and service is consistent and reliable. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for anyone looking to save time cooking with this comforting and affordable meal option!

Bombay Palace is an establishment etched in history of Toronto for last 40 years serving Indian cuisine in a 120 years old historical building. We were welcomed by friendly and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Special kudos to Rajeev, with decades of experience in hospitality sector at high end restaurants and hotels, to make our experience so memorable. Exceptional service with good food takes this place to next level. Much recommended for biryanis and high quality Indian food.

Fantastic service, I have a nut allergy, girlfriend is celiac. They were very accommodating. Food was also excellent and we spent about $30 each with a drink, apps and naan. Im shocked the reviews arent way higher. Rajiv was our server and well definitely be back

Food quality issues !!! Spring Metal pieces in Special Samosa chaat !!! We might just sue this restaurant for trying to kill us with this stuff. Edit: In reply to Mr. Rajivs request, I talked to him over phone and met him and his chef in person to allow them to take a look at the metal pieces and they have acknowledged my concern and have been promised by them that they will investigate the issue and get back with an update.

I ordered 3 tandoori rotis from this place and out of them 1 roti was literally tasting Sour it seems that they add this sour roti intentionally. Really disappointed

Order was ready on time. We had the butter chicken, steamed rice, and butter naan. Good portions and tasty!

Amazing personal service with great explanations of menu and suggestions. So much flavour and ample portions. Best meal we had while in the city for a week. We ll be back when we re in Toronto again.

Didn t send the order via uber for some unknown reason after making us wait for an hour. Two delivery persons reached the restaurant and then cancelled the delivery. Very disappointed. And before you invalidate my review, it was my husbands account we placed order with. One delivery may have had some issue but not two individuals.

1st time in Toronto. Great City. We were a party of 5. We walk in to Bombay Palace at 6pm and no other customers in the restaurant. We look at each and we said no one else is here. Just wondering if the food is any good. Anyways we a got a table. We ordered some wine and other drinks. The young man got confused about are wine order but no big deal we just drank more wine then we should have. We ordered appetizers and they came pretty quick but that was ok because we were hungry after checking out the CN Tower and the best part of the day was visit to The Hockey Temple. (HHOF) I didn t want to leave. I wanted to sleep in The Hockey Temple. Anyways back about the food. We ordered mixed vegetables, daal, butter chicken, rice, tandoor rotis and some garlic naans. The food was so good no one at the table talked for at 10 minutes while eating. We finished every dish we ordered. Then we drank more wine. Highly recommend Bombay Palace.

Food was catered for a diwali party and it was amazing. The goat, chicken and vegetarian options were great. The bread was fluffy. Rice was great. It was fresh, delicious and authentic Vegetarian options: Food was catered at a friends party and it was amazing. Fresh, delicious and authentic.

I hope they are still in business. Went by today and BP was closed. The a la carte menu and appetizers are excellent. Tiffin service is also great. Only went to the Buffet before the pandemic and it did not seem to be the freshest perhaps as there were not many customers. However, everything else was so good.

First night in Toronto and looking for a meal out. Found this place which may not look much from the outside but inside the atmosphere and the food are great. A very warm welcome from the staff and they were really attentive and chatty. Food was excellent and heat level adjusted to your taste. We had the onion bhaji starter (served on a swing!!) and mains of saag paneer and chicken bhuna masala with a plain naan and some pilau rice. All were excellent. We also got a garlic and chilli naan thrown in by the owners and that was tasty too and hot! We couldn t eat all the food so they packed it up for us to have another evening two meals for the price of one! Definitely worth a visit if you want a curry.

We are somewhat perplexed by the average 3.9 review. From the onion stuffed naan to the Saag chicken and vegetable biryani, the preparation, savoriness and degree of heat were near perfect. Vegetarian options: A large number of choices await the visitor

We were so happy with our dinner. Portions are generous. Front staff was very helpful and suggested we try something new, which was an excellent recommendation. We loved our cauliflower korma it was our favourite. We plan on ordering for pickup again very soon. This restaurant will be in our regular rotation.

I ve ordered a lentil soup and was given tomato without calling me (took my number) in advance and asking me what I would like instead. I ve ordered a cheese naan and found 3 crispy dosa that they insisted telling me it s naan. My medium chicken tikka missal was hot. Instead of offering partial reimbursement, they were telling next time we will keep note. I will never enter there again. I paid 35 cad for that (including steam rice)

It is a okay Indian food. Ordered for delivery. Very fast to the area, but if you are ordering please do remind them for the amount of salt and spices. I think I missed to see the option to select the level and my food was salty and hot

Picked up take out last night. Saag Paneer delicious. Paneer was properly prepared before going into the sauce. Pan seared to golden brown. Chicken Madras was very fresh and light. Lots of ginger. Samosas were cute and tasty. Rice was light and fluffy. The butter naan was amazing so do order extra! Reasonably priced too! Update: Just ordered the Aloo Papri Chaat and it is outstanding. They were so kind to package the sauces separately when I asked so that I could plate it myself. A revelation. Outrageously delicious. See photo to believe it yourself.

I tried couple of Indian restaurants in Toronto. But, didn t find anyone with better taste than Bombay Palace. Recommend dishes would be Butter Chicken, Paneer Korma.

Stopped by for dinner here earlier this month. The paneer pakora and chicken tikka angara were in my opinion among the very best of Indian dishes in North America. Rajiv, Richie and Priya took great care of us. They also made a paper machet toy for my nephew. Rajiv manages the restaurant really well. He added in some complimentary dishes for us, which was very kind of him. Also, Rajiv personally delivered weekly meals for us since we stayed close to his restaurant, even though he didnt need to, which shows his exceptional commitment to customer service. Bombay Palace at 71 Jarvis St is one of our favorite places to dine at and to order weekly meals from.

Food was not at all good. Hi, I am unable to reply on your comment thats why i am editing my review. The beverages and food you are talking about is somebodys else scenario. We didnt like the food because we ordered chicken but that was tasting like a frozen chicken which you have overheated and its taste was yuck as it was very hard and then we complaint to you regarding that you bought another one of your malai chicken that was also the same Hard and not properly cooked. Secondly we didnt got any leftover from you. Even we asked you ,tell your speciality you said something like punjabi chicken(I dont remember exactly) that was also uncooked and very hard, its tastes bad. Your presentation and hospitality was good but food was not.

I arrived here for dine in at 8:40 pm . They refused seating saying they close at 9 .if the sign outside your shop says open and your last order is at 9 , then I don t see why you should not be taking guests in . Probably get less lazy people to operate your place . Edit: In reply to the owner lashing out ,only goes to show their unprofessionalism and incompetency . Mr Rajiv , nobody is questioning your right to offer or refuse service . Rather than calling my comment immature and abusing your customers ( yes I have placed several orders before from your place via Uber eats ,but won t do that anymore ) , you should educate yourself and your staff in hospitality . First of all there were only two people dining in at one table( so no crowds ) . Second, your front desk person just said we are closed now without even bothering to explain what s the policy / times and why they still have open sign outside . I don t think it is that hard to atleast explain why you are refusing service specially with only 1 active table inside the restaurant. If you really cared about customer satisfaction you would take feedback from customers and let go of your fat ego . This is not a platform to be heard , it s a platform to share experiences so that other customers don t go through bad experiences .

Loved it, its excellent place for organizing an event

The customer servicr and food here is outstanding, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food.

I ordered 2 dishes and they were both extremely salty and almost inedible so would definitely not recommend.

It was a delightful dine-in meal. The service was attentive. The food was hot and fresh and flavourful. The spicy goat vindaloo had some spice but wasnt as spicy as Id like, so rated down one star. Biryani was very good. Otherwise very nice. No pics because we were so eager that we just started eating. Note for disabled, accessibility is limited, even for those who are ambulatory. A small step to get in and restrooms are downstairs. Not a surprise, but those with limited mobility should be aware.

AMAZING food!!! We ordered takeout and the staff were friendly. Our food was so hot and fresh, as well as tasted incredible! Lots of variety of paneer & chickpea dishes for vegetarians too which I don t see often at other Indian restaurants. If you haven t tried this place yet you need to go, a MUST try! (sadly no pictures because we were hungry and it smelled too good to wait)

The Bombay Palace team has been so supportive of the Seva Food Bank and always leaves our volunteer and staff teams well fed with their delicious dishes. Just this past weekend, during our Annual Radiothon and Food Drive, the dinner provided had rave reviews. The food is always fresh, tasty and piping hot. Thank you team Bombay Palace - we appreciate you helping Team Seva in the fight against hunger in the local community.

Good Indian food

Best place for Indian food... Budget friendly, tasty & delicious food, nice staff, cleanliness awesome, always fresh & hot food. Please increase your hours in weekends.

Service was friendly. Food tasted fine but I ordered a mild tikka masala and my taste buds tasted medium at least. In addition this dish shouldnt have big chunks of tomato and other vegetables in it to my knowledge unless 50+ other indian restaurants do it wrong. Restaurant was out of both sparkling water and coca cola and it was quite cold inside. Washroom facilities are perhaps due for a makeover.

Staff is very polite place is clean and well managed service is very good prices are fine too but they really need to work on their taste

Awesome food

We went in during the lunch buffet and asked for takeout. They packed a small box (with two halves) with 2 pieces of tandoori chicken, a vegetable curry, and 1 naan. All for $13. Such a rip-off. Never visiting this place again. Update Jan 19th 2020: The owner responds 6 months after the review and suggests the customer is at fault. They have no clue. Avoid Avoid Avoid. Really poor. Spend $13 elsewhere. Far better quality food/service available at several indian restaurants in the area.

This was the first place I ever ate Indian food back in 1992, and it was great. Ate there every week. Sadly its not the same at all. The quality and flavour has dropped significantly. Now, all I taste is oversalting on everything. And the Naan is...well, I dont know what it is but its not naan. Ive lived all over the world and traveled extensively through India. There are definitely better options in downtown Toronto. :(

The best and most authentic Indian food in downtown Toronto! This family run spot makes delicious food and the customer service is exceptional. Lots of great vegetarian options too. Highly recommend this restaurant for your next dinner.

Disappointed with the quality of some basic items

We ordered a delivery of Aloo papdi chaat and onion bhajji, both the items were below average. The bhajji(onion fritters) seemed refried and the Aloo papdi chaat had too much color,taste was average. Dissapointed in taste and quality.

I ve been there 2 months ego, we tried briyani and butter chicken, it was very delicious, definently recommended.

Definitely one of the best Indian food places in Toronto. Visited this place last month for an early dinner and was absolutely blown away with their exquisite flavours! We tried the Tandoori Grill and it was just delicious!! would definitely recommend giving that a try. You can also find great deals on drinks!

The Bombay Palace staff could not have been more accommodating, their customer service was exceptional and they went above and beyond to make sure our guests were well taken care of. They adapted gracefully to our last minute changes, they were easy to get a hold of and were responsive to all communications. They have a wide variety of food and drinks. They were able to customize the menu to the preferences of our guests and to top it all off the food was delicious. In Summary: - Great food - Great Service - Great people
