Butter Chicken Factory is a delightful take on Indian cuisine, elevating the beloved butter chicken into a fine dining experience. The ambiance perfectly balances elegance with warmth, making it an excellent choice for both casual outings and special occasions. The butter chicken here reminds me of the traditional Indian recipe, yet somehow feels even more indulgent and flavorful. I also tried the Tandoori Chicken and the Thandai Mocktail, both of which were excellent. The Tandoori Chicken was perfectly cooked—succulent, smoky, and infused with just the right amount of spices. The Thandai Mocktail was a refreshing accompaniment, striking a harmonious balance of flavors with its aromatic, nutty, and mildly sweet profile. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the hospitality. The owner, Bhuvnesh, personally visited our table to inquire about the food and ambiance. His warm demeanor and genuine interest in ensuring a great dining experience added a personal touch that’s often missing in restaurants today. From the flavorful dishes to the impeccable service and sophisticated atmosphere, Butter Chicken Factory delivers on all fronts. This is not just a meal; it’s an experience. Without a doubt, it’s a 5 start place I’d highly recommend! Would love to go again and again! Priyanka was lovely in taking orders and soft spoken. Loved the complementary gulab jamun too!
The foods here are so good. I enjoyed Aloo Gobi vegetarian curry. The portion was huge, so I had to bring some back home.
Place was decently full for a weekday night, butter chicken factory has been on my go-to list for a while after hearing so many recos. Interior was cute and elegant, unexpected given the name “Factory.” Liked how the food delivery and takeout pickups were separated from the dining area with an outside window. We got the dinner for two: an app, two curries, Chana masala, rice, and two breads (we upgraded to garlic naan). For the app, we had the chicken pakora, and for curries, we stuck with the classics: original smoked butter chicken and signature tikka masala. The chicken pakora was YUMMY (but I love anything pakora, so no surprise there). The curries were the real highlight—sooo good. The butter chicken was my favorite, hitting all the right spots. The chicken tikka masala had a strong green pepper flavor, which wasn’t totally my thing, but it was still delicious. For drinks, we tried the Panjim Pineapple Sour and Chor Bizzare. The pineapple sour was my fave with a strong, non-artificial pineapple flavor, while the Chor Bizzare was a great choice if you’re into spicy or tamarind margaritas. For dessert, we had the mango rasmalai, and absolutely devoured it. The presentation was cool with dry ice (third time I’ve seen that with rasmalai though LOL), but the taste was top-notch. Service was okay, though a bit slow at times. Side note, table for two did not fit dinner for two spread 😭 had to get another table pushed in lol Overall, Butter Chicken Factory was a lovely spot for a casual dinner. It hit all the right notes for me in terms of flavor, pricing, and portion sizes (we had enough leftovers for 2-3 meals, so the dinner for two was more like dinner for six—definitely bang for your buck).
The food is very good and tasty. It’s all halal for anyone wondering! It smells really nice and they serving size is good. Also the plating looks very cute. The service has its ups and downs. The hostess was very nice however we had to constantly ask for water refills (which is a small thing but annoying nonetheless). The place is nice however very hot. Not a lot of ac going on.
Very nice restaurant, the service is amazing! This is a great place if you want to have Indian food. there are many places in downtown, drinks. Cocktails. Fast service. They really make fresh food. Parking available front of restaurant .
Loved the food, loved the vibe, loved the ambiance provided by the staff. We were concerned initially but the number of reviews do not do justice to this place. It was a beautiful experience. Loved the taste of the food and we went with the choice of the service person and the food did not disappoint. Well, chicken biryani is probably not their best dish (even if they say so), but definitely worth a try.
Butter Chicken Factory offers the best butter chicken in Toronto! From the first bite, you can taste the perfect blend of spices and the creamy richness that makes this dish stand out. It's truly a culinary masterpiece that keeps you coming back for more. But the delights don't stop there. The chicken noodles are simply amazing, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Each bite is a delicious journey, showcasing the chef's expertise in creating authentic and mouth-watering dishes. The chicken tikka is another highlight. It's tender, juicy, and marinated to perfection, offering a burst of flavor with every bite. Paired with their aromatic naan bread, it's a dish you won't soon forget. Don't miss the chicken manchurian, either. It's a flavorful fusion that combines the best of Indian and Chinese cuisine, delivering a unique and delightful taste experience. Butter Chicken Factory truly excels in every dish they serve, making it a must-visit for anyone in Toronto. The friendly and attentive staff further enhance the dining experience, ensuring you feel welcome and satisfied. Highly recommended!
This is an update🤨 We ordered our usual: Chicken biryani Butter chicken Tandoori Chapati Garlic butter naan Everything is amazing until we ordered same thing to go and it seemed as if the grabbed my order from other place😡😠😡 There is no way that was prepared in the same level with same ingredients. So cheap & tasteless. And missing items !!!!! after confirming with the waitress who was almost offended when asked if she was sure that all was there!!! My advice, order to dine in then wrap everything to go!!! So disappointed 😏😒😒😒😒
Definitely the highlight of my trip! Every dish is exquisite but my favourite has to be the mutton seekh kabob and the mango Moscow mule!! Recommend it to vegetarians and non vegetarians :)
This is the Mecca of Indian food in the GTA. The flavour of the food coupled with the impeccable service make it a definite go to place in Toronto.
The biryani is mouth-watering and takes me right back home to India. The flavours hit all the right spots and I will be back for sure!
I love eating at Butter Chicken Factory, their service is supreme and the quality is impeccable!
The food is really good, the environment in the restaurant is also amazing!! the music in the restaurant is great keeps the atmosphere lovely
Butter chicken factory is a personal favourite and a go-to spot for Indian food in Toronto. This is not your typical grab and go indian spot - while you will wait a bit for your food to arrive, the time will be well compensated with amazing flavours and textures. I highly recommend the fish curry
Delicious food and great service
Amazing Indian food. Little expensive but still worth it.
Great first experience and amazing waitress ( Radeen)
delicious food, and such a wonderful service Riddhi was very honest in providing some really good recommendations. absolutely loved it!!
The food is good. My daughter loves the butter chicken and garlic naan here. She makes me order every week butter chicken from this place.
Got takeout the lentils were more cream than lentils, chicken was fresh, missed salt in everything and spice maybe we should have chosen spicy was bland
I had a take out order and the girl at the counter was so rude and snobby. Terrible service. I do not recommend and will take my business somewhere they appreciate the customer!
One of my favourite places to go to for Indian food. Ive been coming here since their old location. A lot has changed. The food is more fancy and a bit more expensive. Butter chicken in smoke, nice and sweet, super rich, not heavy. Lamb biryani baked in a soufflé style pan, moist, flavourful, aromatic, generous on the lamb pieces. Naan was crispy and buttery, but I wish the quantity of it was increased. The servers are also very nice. If they raise their prices even more, Im gonna have to find another place to eat
I have been ordering from this place for years and it never misses. Definitely one of my favourite comfort food restaurants.
My first visit here was truly exceptional. The ambiance was inviting, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Ridhi, our host, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was perfect. Thank you, Ridhi, for your dedication and warm hospitality!
Great spot. Not sure how I felt about paying $12 for two samosas , but overall very good and worth it. They need to fix the front door , it slams very loud everytime it shuts when someone walks in. Would come back.
Impressive Turnaround Back to Their Best! After a previously disappointing experience, I m thrilled to say that Butter Chicken Factory went the extra mile to win me back, and they truly delivered. This time, I ordered the Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Butter Chicken, and each dish was absolutely spectacular. The Dal Makhani was rich and flavorful, the Paneer Tikka Masala had the perfect balance of spices, and the Butter Chicken was as indulgent as ever. It s clear they took my feedback seriously, and I m so glad to see them back to the top quality I remember. Thank you, Butter Chicken Factory, for a fantastic meal! Previous review (about 1 months ago) Disappointing Experience A Far Cry from What It Used to Be I was genuinely disheartened by my recent visit to this restaurant, which used to be one of my absolute favorites. Unfortunately, todays experience has likely marked my last. We started with the Tandoori Chaap, which was excessively salty, making it almost inedible. The Dal Makhani lacked flavor and depth, coming across as completely bland a truly unpleasant surprise. The Paneer Tikka Masala, which I had previously raved about, was also disappointing this time, with an off-putting taste that was hard to pinpoint. While they seem to have made some improvements to their presentation, the food quality has clearly declined. To add to the disappointment, the service was subpar, with the servers appearing inattentive and unengaged. Overall, this visit was a significant letdown, and I m sad to say I won t be returning anytime soon. Previous review (about 9 months ago) I have been here a few times but this time the food hit me different. It was absolutely delicious and way better than most of the other times!! Best was Paneer Tikka Masala out of all that we ordered. On top of that, our server Tanvi was just a delight and made sure we had a very good experience. She always had a smile and catered to our queries with a lot of patience. Definitely going to come here more often now.
We just had dinner at Butter Chicken Factory. We had a very good meal and our server, Riddhi, was very nice and made some excellent recommendations. We will definitely be coming back again!
Great hospitality and amazing food.
Their takeout is quick and efficient
Nice and cozy, friendly and knowledgeable stuff. Food was great, I went for vegetable biryani as recommended by the waitress, good choice.
The food is really good and the music and atmosphere is also very homely, feels good to eat here
Food was great, loved the paneer dishes!
Loved the music that was playing!! and loved the atmosphere to eat here
Best place to taste authentic North-Indian cuisine! The vibe is amazing and the food even more so. It s the perfect go-out spot to have a nice dinner with family or friends, and to host parties!
Amazing experience! Will come back here again! One of my favourite restaurants!!
Love butter chicken!
Food is amazing do the dinner for 2 and you cant go wrong
Hands down best Indian food in town!! Must order Afghani momos, paneer tikka masala & rumali roti
Good food , and amazing drink lychee lemonade highly recommend . The bartender Priyanka made the best lemonade.
The food was great and delicious... The service was friendly and attentive... The atmosphere was cozy and had a different vibe... Overall, Butter Chicken Factory is a wonderful spot for friends and family. Its a must visit restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Toronto. PS: This factory produces some of the OG butter chicken. Also, the owner is helpful and a friendly person.
There staff behaviour is very bad. I dont will come back anymore they should improve there staff behaviour.
Ordered takeaway bc it s so close to my house. Said it would be 20mins took 45 and then left everyone feeling SO thirsty it s clearly FULL of M.S.G. Brutal. Update: the fact that you claim to be super busy but have the time to reply within 30 mins of my review says it all! Further, I absolutely AGREE that Indian cuisine does not use MSG . That is my whole point it is a shame that you clearly do use it. There is a reason why you used to have 4.9 stars and now it s going down and down and down. Such a shame! And for those reading this - no, i am not Indian. But as a Brit having ordered (eat in or take out) Indian food at LEAST once every 2 weeks my entire life (in UK, India, UAE and now Canada) I can tell you this is NOT Indian cuisine. Enjoy if you do and if you don t just know there are much MUCH better options in Toronto thankfully.
I ordered a set meal for 2 people with a lot of portions. It tasted very delicious. The atmosphere in the store was very good and suitable for a date. It was almost full of customers. It was a pity that there was only one service staff. It took some waiting time. However, the service staff was very kind and would ask any questions at any time.
I love butter chicken. They have amazing drinks and appetizer s. And service is amazing too. Great place to hangout with friends and family
Great choice for Indian food. I always enjoy dining here and they provide excellent customer service.
This place is a gem worth visiting for Indian food. I can t wait to return. And our server was attentive and knowledgeable, offering recommendations.
Edited: corrected typo.. seeking = seekh. Seekh kabab in the uber eats order had a sharp metal piece, that my kid pulled out of his mouth. I just cant imagine how food safety can be taken so lightly. I just cant imagine the consequences had he swallowed it as it had sharp edges.
Great priced food and great priced cocktails Parking: 4-5 spots out front Food : 5/5 |
Great atmosphere but the butter chicken wasn t up to the standards.
Definitely in top 5 Indian restaurants in the city.
What a pleasant surprise. Kids were kissing some Indian food home cooking so we gave it a shot. Blown away. Will visit again when next in town. Kept it simple. Butter chicken original smoked and garlic naan. Was outstanding (don t tell mom). Will be back.
Very bad quality food I ordered from uber eats matar panner and other stuff when i open the order smells very bad I think it s not possible I spent almost 55$ on order i take one bite of my food garbage food highly not recommended
Outstanding
Atmosphere of the place was good untill we ordered food. We were 3 people and ordered two thali but they told us one thali is for one person only and cannot be shared. We can t let you dine in if you don t order third thali Never seen such thing anywhere in the GTA. Worst experience
Portions are really big for the price, got the dinner for 4 and it was more than enough food for 6 people. The butter chicken was pretty good, really liked the chicken pakora as an appetizer and the chickpea thing they have, will have to try more of the dishes next time. Restaurant is pretty nice but I recommend making a reservation to be safe, also it looks like most of the bad reviews are from getting takeout so I recommend only dining it.
Sagar and crew are the best. Food here is really good and great his
Amazing food and amazing service!!
Tried the street food and the ingredients were super fresh. Customer service by the team was outstanding.
Tried the sizzling hot brownie and loved it. Good vegetarian food options as well. Enjoyed the taste and freshness. Always a pleasure Food
Excellent food!
Butter Chicken Factory - A Must-Visit for Indian Food Lovers! If you re a fan of authentic Indian cuisine, Butter Chicken Factory is a true gem in the city. The star of the show, as the name suggests, is their butter chicken, which is rich, creamy, and packed with flavors that will make your taste buds dance. The chicken is perfectly cooked, tender, and coated in the most luscious tomato-based gravy. The restaurant itself has a cozy ambiance with attentive staff who are happy to make recommendations. Whether you re dining in or ordering for takeout, the food quality is consistently excellent.
Food is a bittt on the pricey side, but quality is high and taste is amazing! Would recommend definitely :)
Food is good but they do not provide rice with the butter chicken, first time I have ever experienced that before
Great ambiance and really tasty food. We got the butter chicken and the panner tikka masala with butter naans. The food was presented well and it was nice to enjoy for dinner. Service was decent as it took some time for the waiters to come back to your table.
Authentic fine dine Indian restaurant, best in Toronto. Loved everything I had
The service is top notch, and the taste of the food is worth the price. Highly recommended!!!
10/10 This place has great vibe. Loved the appetizers, desserts. My favorite was Biryani and gulabjamun dessert. Veg options are tasty too- Tried Kofta. Must try!
A very good restaurant, the garlic naan and tandoori chicken specialties are incredible. Don t hesitate to come to this delicious restaurant.
I loved their drinks so much. Butter chicken was on point. Must try roohafza drink . Nice ambience and patio .
Best place , amazing service , Best part they have a parking too
Loved the food and friendly-service, we ordered samosa chaat(confirmed with staff samosa is freshly made and not the frozen one used by most restaurants), shahi paneer was rich with gravy and asked for spicy(related to Indian spicy), chicken curry and naan(fresh and soft). Will surely be dining in again.
Really long waiting for 4 piece samosa. That too not well cooked, the taste was definitely not worth price they are charging. Potatoes used , looks like spoiled. The inside layer of samosa was not cooked properly, which took trip of my tummy.
Awesome place, delicious food, prompt service and reasonable price
I was amazed by the variety and quality of vegetarian options at this restaurant. I had the paneer butter masala and naan. The fresh ingredients and spices made every dish a treat. Perfect for anyone looking for great vegetarian food!
I loved the vegetarian food here! I ate the paneer butter masala and malai kofta. Each dish was full of flavor and creativity. The fresh ingredients made every meal special. Highly recommend to all veggie lovers!
As a vegetarian, its hard to find good places to eat. This restaurant has a great vegetarian menu. I tried the shahi paneer and naan. Every bite showed they care about quality and taste. The chefs really know how to make great vegetarian food!
Great atmosphere and even better food. The cocktails on their menu are fancy and tasty. For food we tried Dahi Puri; Fish Pakora, Tandoori Momos, Dal Makhani and Butter Chicken & Paratha - everything was fresh, delicious & served hot. Staff is smiling and happy to serve! Vegetarian options: Multiple options available
Went for Lunch with some friends. Had an amazing experience. Definitely recommend the 24 K Gold Butter Chicken with the selection of breads here.
Best Indian food in town, very tasty and quality and the best Nans :) Very friendly staff Food
Indian Authentic Food with a Modern Twist in Toronto We recently had the pleasure of dining at an incredible spot in Toronto that specializes in Indian authentic food with a modern twist. It was our first time trying their butter chicken golgappe, and it was absolutely amazing and superb. The fusion of traditional flavors with contemporary presentation was mind-blowing. The entire menu was impressive, and we loved every dish we tried. Each item was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. In addition to the mouthwatering food, they offer a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to complement your meal. One of the highlights for us was the cheesecake, which we personally loved. It was the perfect ending to an incredible dining experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and delightful culinary experience in Toronto. You wont be disappointed!
Nice and spicy! $32 bucks for spicy. Utter chicken and two regular naan.
Vegetarian options: They have good vegetarian options as well. Taste is really good. Ambience is nice. Representation is awesome. We would definitely visit again! Food
Second time eating at this restaurant. The first visit was two years ago, and it was great. The portions were generous but a bit pricey. However, this weeks experience was disappointing. The Lamb Biryani, priced at $24, was noticeably smaller than before. The Butter Chicken I ordered was mostly sauce with only a few pieces of chicken. Overall, I felt quite disappointed with the value for money. The service was pretty bad, I had to ask multiple times just to get water.
We really enjoyed food The staff Tanvi was so nice and friendly Thank you very much!! Food : 5/5
Very slow service
Some of the bestttt Indian food in GTA. They actually took into consideration what customers actually want not just giving you old slop. Their BBQ is a must try as you will not be disappointed. Only improvement I can say is bring back the sizzling bbq.
Excellent service by tanisha and shristi Excellent food Food
Good services by Tanisha and shristi. Thank you
Worst place
It is always a wonderful experience to visit here. The staff is amazing and food is unbeatable.
Wonderful dine in experience. The food tasted very well, presentation and portion size were good. The ambience is nice and cozy with soft Bollywood music playing in the background. Tanvi is a great and pleasant server, always smiling. Thank you !
Delicious food. Special appreciation for Tanvi and Tanisha !!!
This is the best butter chicken under the sun! All the food is remarkable. The service Im the restaurant and at the take out counter is fabulous. Good prices and portion sizes.
This is a great place if you want to have Indian food . there are many places in downtown to have Indian food , but I found this one is the best They really make fresh food. They also have great choices in terms of roti naan or rice items If you are willing to go bit far from downtown for a drive or take a train to this restaurant. This is worth. they have a outdoor seating area and their service is amazing . Our server name was Tanvi . She was great in guiding us for food choices .
Good food but consistently forget items when ordering takeout.
Delicious food and Amazing service.
We made a reservation a week in advance and when we got there, they told us they would see if they could seat us. There was an event going on inside so we agreed to be seated on the patio when we arrived. We got there promptly but they made us wait a good 15-20 minutes at the door to find our reservation to see if they could seat us or not. They returned after making us wait to tell us that they could only seat 2 people even though the reservation was made for 3. They made us wait again after that to see if they could seat our party and returned saying they were cleaning a table for us. By then we were frustrated with the service and planning on leaving anyway. There were plenty of empty tables from what we could see, but understanding some of they may have been reserved for the event, we would ve appreciated a heads up and just have them cancel the reservation if they couldn t host us which they clearly couldn t. We did not dine here and don t plan to due to the terrible service.
The restaurant has come up with new dishes and those are very delicious. Very well presented. You need to give it a try!
Food was really good and the service was great!! Tanvi took care of us, professional and kind . great service !!
Very very tasty. Tasty, clean, nice presentation and also good portions
Super tasty food With service Thanks Tanvee Food : 5/5
Such a nice beautiful restaurant food is amazing tanvi served food she s so nice and treat us like a professional
We went the restaurant especially for the famous butter chicken. Everything we ordered was so delicious and finely presented. We tried out the momo which was new in their menu. Believe me! It was the best of all in Toronto.
I don t understand all the hype and highly rated reviews. The butter chicken was very salty and the tandoori chicken is the blandest and grossest I have ever had (it actually looks better in the picture than it does in real life). Worst $60 ever spent, please do yourself a favour and do not order from here. The high reviews are extremely questionable.
We came here for lunch. Shrishti and Tanisha gave a delightful lunch experience. Compliments to the chef for the fantastic yummy food with tempting presentation. I couldn t wait to take pictures as it was so tempting. We would definitely come here oftenly Thanks a lot! Food
Very authentic Indian cuisine. Butter chicken and Lamb Masala was delicious. If your not Indian I recommend not trying their masala coca cola. Lol other than that everything was delicious
Absolutely delicious fresh yummy scrumptious well-made Indian food that s hot and good size portion. The butter chicken is scrumdiddlyumptious. The Rita yoghurt is very yummy. The non-is the right amount of fluffy and crispy. The Malay is delicious. Overall it s delicious. The biryani is mediocre to me. I think it s a little too spiced, and kind of dry . The Ologobi Is a bit greasy and over seasoned
The food here is excellent. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. Danvi was a great waitress! I truly believe this is the best butter chicken in the city. Can t wait to come back. Tried the Patiala Fashioned, it was a great take on an old fashioned. Food
The food was spectacular. We had a chicken tikka masala, chicken kebab and fish tikka. All delicious. Tanvi was our server and she was very sweet :)
The ambiance of the restaurant is awesome, the service staff was very friendly and professional. The received feedback and helped fix problems with our food. The overall experience was outstanding. Have been and will be visiting often. Vegetarian options: One of the best Indian vegetarian food. Very hard to find in Toronto
A friend and I ordered butter chicken from their take away counter. It came to $50.00 When we looked at our order it was basically 2 bowls of butter chicken soup. 3 pieces of chicken (max) Everywhere else Ive ever ordered butter chicken or anything very saucy, Im given rice, or naan bread. So I went in and inquired about this, and was told only people who order from Uber or 3rd party delivery gets rice/naan. Wow!! For a $50 dollar order, you cant even throw in some rice or a piece of bread!!!! Ridiculous. Also it wasnt even good tasting. Such a disappointment.
I ordered Veg Dum Biryani with Raita from Door dash. It was nothing just a packet of salt put into the rice. Wont recommend to anyone
The food was ok , but definitely not the best indian food i ve had in Toronto. You can find better options out there. Food
Tanvi was great! Great food and service!
I went there with my friend. The girl who greet us was very sweet and she gave us a table. We just sat down, our waitress came and informed us that we can scan the barcode and go through the menu. Within 10 seconds of that she came to us and asking if we were ready to order or not. Which was very rude and disturbing because we just opened the menu and she didn t even give us enough time. She at least came to our table 3 times even though she noticed we were still going through the menu. My question is if you guys are soo busy that you can t even give your guest enough time to explore your menu properly then don t sit them down maybe !!!! Their food was good. We took chicken pakora and chicken kabab with garlic & butter naan. Chicken kabab was spicy & delicious. If we had more time to explore their menu we would ve order more. Also the people around us were just too loud. And definitely that s not the restaurants fault.
While this Indian restaurant has a very white sounding name, the food is authentic and incredibly good. The portion sizes are lasrge as well. My wife and I shared a Butter chicken and a Chicken tikka Masala and we had enough leftovers for two more meals when we got home. I was on time crunch, planning to attend a concert aroun th corner at The Phoenix, and the service was timely and excellent. Our glasses were alwayds full of water, and the server checke in on us every so often, but not too much or too littl either. If you want great Indian food and youre going to a show, make sure you stop here for dinner first!
Went there a couple days ago! Very tasty butter chicken, amazing naan and even better cocktails! Loved. it
This restaurant amused me with its mouthwatering food. I tried Paneer Tikka Masala, Paneer makhni and Veg biryani. All perfect, best part is they serve the food in a very good quantity. Tanvi and Tanisha both were amazing host, their service deserve more than 5 stars. Ambiance is also classy. Thanks a ton for such a wonderful experience, Guys.
Supper good food. Everybody in my family likes it. We chose after viewing the reviews and experienced it 5 stars! My wife was admiring that they let serve food even at 4:00. The kids were likeWE LOVED IT!!! Parking: The parking is beside the restaurant, about 10 spots. We found a spot easily. Kid-friendliness: They respect kids and they listen to the kids and what they want.
An absolutely amazing experience! Great food, great service, and great ambience to enjoy Indian food in Toronto. Would definitely recommend and visit again!
Decent butter chicken place. Naan was top tier. Biryani was just okay.
5 stars to the place. Loved the real butter chicken which was evenly melting giving a nice flavour with an apt amount of spices. Staff is humble and you ll love the light music which will let you chit chat along. Kid friendly with parking space too. Kind of must go to place every weekend.
Very useful lunch special, just the right amount of food, nicely presented. Excellent value. I had the chicken madras. Recommended.
Food is good and service provided by the Priyanka and Vishal is also good.
Pathetic service! My best friend and I went there a couple of minutes ago and the staff made us sit at a table just near the door in freezing cold. She let a couple sitting there before us change their place and we requested that we be given a different table too. However, just in a minute when the next table was available, she gave it to a couple that came after us. This is extremely discriminatory and inhospitable. Are couples the only ones that feel cold in chilly winter and you have no consideration for other customers?!
Nice food. Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options available Food : 4/5 |
I went for dine in today with some of my friends. The service was very good. We liked the way they served Biryani. We also ordered the combo dinner which was more than enough for us to quench our hunger. Will surely visit the place next time
Got food poisoning. Diarrhea and vomitting. Terrible!!
Good food and good service. The staffs are very frank and friendly. They give you good options to choose between the foods. Being a vegetarian , I usually don t get a lot options while ordering the foods. But here, I was provided with a plenty of options. I ordered the Paneer Makhani and Garlic Naan, it was very delicious. I m planning to dine in for the next time.
The food was superb, the service impeccable, and the ambiance perfect. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
Very nice place. Food is great- naans are delish! Great atmosphere. Server Danvi was lovely! Food
Loved the food and the ambiance! Will definitely be returning soon for more
yum yum yum
Great good and excellent service!
Delicious food
Amazing food and service.
Great food and amazing service.
A group of about 11 of us visited this place. Its a place with not so much sitting space and is usually packed for dinner(atleast on the weekends) and very limited parking spots as well. Its a fine dine restaurant and that reflects in their ambiance, cutlery, portions, pricing and the food quality. We had a proper 4 course meal from appetizers to dessert and it was all very tasty food. Like I said, given its a fine dine setup, its a bit on the pricey side and the portions also arent very large for the price you pay. But tasty food and a great place to visit with family, friends or colleagues.
Amazing experience
Tanvi suggested some great dishes for us. Good food and drinks. Recommend 5/5
Ive been here multiple times. This place never disappoints, and I am a happy regular customer! Delicious food and portions are comically enormous and generous . We ordered the dinner for 2, but I can certainly say that was enough food for 4-5 people. The butter chicken wasnt exceptional but good the tikka masala and Korma are better. Their mild is really mild, and I recommend ordering a medium even if you dont like it very spicy. The appetizers chicken pakora and samosa were excellent. The prices are very fair considering the portion size, so order accordingly. The location is nice and cozy, and the service is good. Always quick service and the owner is very friendly. I only wish their plates and glasses were a nicer and less scuffed up! They also have a very nice patio facing Parliament St
UNBELIEVABLE - If I could give this place 6 stars I would!! Value for money for Toronto is amazing. We got the meal for 2 which could honestly feed 4 people - it included 2 curries, 2 naan, a large rice, a selection of v tasty starters as well as a complimentary vegetarian chickpea masala! We had the butter chicken which was so tender and the lamb rhogan josh which was packed with flavour! Not to mention the service from Bhrianca was great and the food came out quite fast although they were busy for a Tuesday. Cabbagetown hidden gem
The chocolate brownie sizzler is a must have here! It comes along with a scoop of ice cream and its very delicious. The atmosphere is also one of the best in town! Would definitely recommend booking a reservation in advance. Wait times without reservation can range from 10-30 minutes.
Food, service and are restaurant amazing!! Portions are big, we ordered a combo for 2 and have enough meal to take home. The restaurant is cute, with nice music and a chill environment. And service was the best, Priyanka was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back again!
Overall a nice cozy place for Indian food. Great service. Food
The food here is amazing! Highly recommend a meal here.
Food taste is very very bad.
Visited butter chicken factory with friends. Food is amazing and customer service by Tanvi was outstanding. Thanks for the great exceptional customer service.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Butter Chicken Factory, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of Indian spices and the warm, welcoming ambiance. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes, and I was particularly impressed by their signature butter chicken. The rich, creamy sauce combined with tender, flavorful chicken was an absolute delight for the taste buds. Additionally, the garlic naan was perfectly cooked and served piping hot, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to the meal. The service at Butter Chicken Factory was exceptional, with attentive staff members who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The restaurants decor and music created a cozy atmosphere, transporting me to the heart of India. Overall, my visit to Butter Chicken Factory was a culinary journey that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Indian dining experience. I look forward to returning to explore more of their tantalizing menu offerings. Bon appétit!
Spicy Yummy
Food is really good. Interior is good too. Very good place for family time. Ordered butter chicken & paneer with naan.
They are not letting washrooms to the couriers anymore , workers not polite also , they start the focus indoor customers only ...
The best Indian food I have ever had without a doubt. Will definitely be returning!
Did online order from thia place and the food was AMAZING. Next time will dine in here for sure.
Good atmosphere and prompt service provided!
Food wasn t bad but I ordered through Uber eats and then compared the prices to the online menu and they add way too much extra. Most places add $1-$2 but all the main dishes were $4more, the appetizers was $5 more and the sides where $1 more. Made a small order of two mains, naan, rice, and samosas (which were not very good) cost $16 plus the fees on the $16 Uber charges more the ordering through thermos site. Long story short this place plus Uber eats equals a bad experience.
I went in around 8.40 PM. 80% of the restaurant was empty. I was asked to reserve first or be seated outside on the patio. Are you kidding me ?!? Why do you have your restaurant open on google if you don t want customers to be seated!? So unprofessional!!!!
We came in on a quiet Thursday afternoon, the ambience and food was great.
I tasted Paneer tikka masala and Malai mutter paneer. I loved it, strongly recommend. Food : 5/5
Their matar paneer masala is excellent! ohh so good!
Great place to have Indian food if you are finding authentic kind of taste. Also the drink they make are lovely. I personally love LIT the server made.
Was always such tasty food and friendly service. We have eaten in and takeaway a number of times and recently we ve been disappointed. The Tikka Masala was meant to be spicy and was NOT spicy at all. We have always loved butter chicken factory, but the live has dwindled!
Good food, let down by bad service. If we re too late to sit and dine, it s better to let us know that it won t be possible. Rather, we were offered a table only to be constantly reminded that they re closing soon. To the point where the wait staff was waiting at our table after we paid the check and were waiting for our ride to arrive.
I have been visiting this restaurant from a long period of time. And the experience is never unsatisfactory here, everytime its a wonderful experience.
We went here for a birthday and the food and service were both amazing and top notch! We got a few dishes and they were all delicious. A must-try in the city and my new go-to Indian restaurant.
I tried the tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, and butter garlic naan absolutely superb! The flavors transported me back to India, its literally like enjoying the same delicious taste from home. Highly recommend for an authentic Indian culinary experience!
Absolutely loved the fact paced and amazing service. Our waitress, Tanveer was a delight to talk to, so kind and helpful. Overall, 10/10 everything!!
Always excellent service and food here. Top quality on every level. Highly recommend Food : 5/5
Great food and service always! I was served by Tanvi, she s great at work and is always smiling. Thank you. Food : 5/5
Me and my partner went to dine here on a whim last minute close to their closing time. Tanvi accommodated us very well, and recommended the paneer pakora which was delicious. We also ordered the butter chicken which was very good and savoury but my favourite was the lamb korma. The food was extremely fresh and delicious but the service is what truly won us over.
Had an incredible experience at this restaurant! Everyone was exceptionally friendly, securing us a table promptly and providing excellent recommendations. We opted for the recommended dinner for 2 , featuring 1 appetizer, 2 curries of your choice, channa masala, Rice and Bread. I went for the butter chicken with medium heat and a side of Chana masala both incredibly flavourful. Surprisingly, it was very affordable, offering generous portions at a great price. The dim lighting created a perfect ambiance for a date night. Highly recommend this place. Ill definitely be returning for more!
A Mixed Experience with the Butter Chicken Factory My boyfriend and I recently decided to indulge in some take-out from the Butter Chicken Factory. We opted for biryani, butter chicken, samosas, and naan to satisfy our food cravings. The biryani was a standout dish, bursting with flavours and perfectly cooked rice. The fragrant spices were well-balanced, and the addition of raita complemented the dish beautifully, offering a cool and refreshing contrast. The samosas were also a delightful treat, boasting a crispy exterior and a flavorful filling that left us wanting more. However, our experience took a slight downturn with the butter chicken. While the dish maintained a creamy texture and the chicken was tender, it was overshadowed by an excessive saltiness that detracted from the overall enjoyment. The bold flavours we were expecting were unfortunately marred by the overwhelming salt content, leaving us somewhat disappointed. The naan, on the other hand, was a consistent crowd-pleaser. Soft, warm, and with just the right amount of char, it served as the perfect accompaniment to the other dishes. In summary, our experience with the Butter Chicken Factory was a mixed bag. The biryani, raita, and samosas left a positive impression, showcasing the restaurants ability to deliver on authentic flavours. However, the over salted butter chicken was a letdown, preventing us from fully relishing the entire meal. While the overall dining experience was satisfactory, the inconsistency in the dishes prompts us to give Butter Chicken Factory a 3/5-star rating. With a bit of fine-tuning, particularly in controlling the salt levels, this restaurant could easily elevate its offerings to a higher standard.
Quite a nice place.
Fantastic food -
Food was delicious. It satisfies your indian food cravings. Service is good. Quantity is huge. Must visit for Indian cuisine.
Food was so old and stale that both my wife and my stomach got upset.
Great place to dine. Staff are amazing!
Indulging in an evening at Butter Chicken Factory was nothing short of a culinary odyssey. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance whispered elegance, with its warm lighting and chic decor. However, what truly elevated our experience was the impeccable service provided by Tanvi. Her welcoming smile and genuine enthusiasm set the tone for the evening, making us feel like honored guests rather than mere patrons. As we perused the menu, Tanvi guided us with expert recommendations, each dish promising a symphony of flavors that danced on our palates. Every detail was meticulously attended to, from the perfectly timed courses to the thoughtful presentation that showcased the chefs artistry. Our taste buds were treated to a gastronomic adventure, with each dish surpassing the last in both creativity and execution. From the delicate fusion of flavors in the appetizers to the decadent desserts that left us longing for more, every bite was a revelation. But it wasnt just the food that left a lasting impression; it was the seamless orchestration of the entire dining experience, with Tanvi at the helm, ensuring that every moment was nothing short of extraordinary. In a world where exceptional service is often rare, Tanvis dedication to her craft shines brightly like a beacon of hospitality. Her passion for creating memorable dining experiences is evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting imprint on our hearts. Thank you BCF for an unforgettable evening, and a special commendation to Tanvi for her unparalleled professionalism and unwavering commitment to excellence. We eagerly anticipate our next visit, eager to once again be enchanted by the magic of your culinary prowess and unparalleled service.
The north Indian food is probably the best in Toronto.
Food is delicious but portion sizes are gigantic. We ordered dinner for two which is $64.99 and comes with an appetizer, two curries, naan and rice. Everything was tasty but you re almost guaranteed to have food left over to take home, enough for a second meal. We will be back but I think next time we ll order a la carte vs the prix fixe menu. Also the pani puri is a stupid dish, don t order that unless you want soup all over your bread plate.
I was very happy the service and the food. The waiter was very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Worst Briyani I ever had today, also expensive briyani, before used to be good. Now?
Butter Chicken Factory is still one of our go-to places for butter chicken. Its amazing every time and you actually get a good chicken to sauce ratio. The naan is also made fresh, you can tell whoever is cooking in the kitchen actually has a passion for Indian food. We started with the Chicken Pakora ($10.99) and the Onion Bhajia ($9.99). These were really good and flavourful with all the different spices. The Onion Bhajia is a little spicy for those who have a low tolerance for spicy food. We then moved onto the Butter Chicken ($19.99) and had Garlic Naan with it ($4.99). The butter chicken and garlic naan were just as expected, almost seems to get better every time you have it. The customer service was great as well, they are pretty attentive and will get anything you need fairly quickly. If youre going for dinner wed recommend making a reservation at that time as they can get pretty busy. Also, if youre not willing to spend a lot of money, look out for when Toronto has their summerlicious and winterlicious events as Butter Chicken Factory always participates in it. Overall, highly recommend if you love butter chicken as much as we do! For more reviews check out @_date.nights on Instagram!
this place used to best place in terms of food and sitting.. Now poor sitting arrangements. so cold during winters due to doors. i wore winter jacket inside while eating.. food quality is not the same anymore.. so uncomfortable dining with small shaky tables and cold wind blowing inside..
Ordered over $100 of food with Uber Eats, the curries were sour and the mint chutney was so spoiled from not being refrigerated that the actual containers were expanded and about to explode. Clearly this restaurant does not practice any food and safety procedures and they will get someone sick if they already haven t. Spend your money elsewhere and save yourself a trip to the emergency room.
Ordered dinner for 2 for takeout. Authentic Indian spices. Will surely try for dining in one day
The food tastes very good. The servers are also very polite and humble. A very recommended place!!!
There are several Indian restaurants in Toronto. But if you want to get the real Indian taste, Butter Chicken Factory is a highly recommended place. Satisfied with food, service, atmosphere everything. Thumbs up
Ordered basmati rice and goan fish curry for lunch through Uber today. Rice was spoilt. Had stomach upset. Have visited the restaurant in person earlier and the food was good and fresh. But the food we received today was stale. Very disappointed.
I have ordered from these guys tons of times. Their food is outstanding! I ve never eaten in the restaurant, but when I have picked up from the take away window, I notice that the main restaurant is full all the time. That says a lot. Very Highly Recommended! Food
We ve had takeout many times, but went in and enjoyed the dinner for two last night at the restaurant. Delicious food, generous portions, friendly staff, and great ambience. Definitely recommend.
Found our new favorite Indian restaurant! We had Eggplant Bhartha, Paneer Tikka Masala, steamed rice, garlic naan and complimentary vegan samosas. Everything was delicious! Very reasonably priced considering the portions sizes. Next time we shall try dining in!
Tanvi you re the best :)
