Brookfield place, 181 Bay St. unit c 140, Toronto, ON M5J 2T3, Canada
With Colaba Junction opening its doors at Brookfield Place in the heart of Toronto – there is now a splendid option to break the monotony of food court meals for the daily office-goers in the financial district. We offer a wide range of Indian cuisine, including breakfast items, curries, naans, desserts, snacks, and of course, street foods.
I ordered panner manchurian expecting i’ll get a bowl of manchurian and to my surprise, i got 25% manchurian and 75% plain rice labeled as paneer Manchurian 🙂 and when i raised this issue with the owner he told me that the rice comes free with it. 75% of rice comes free🙂. And when i told him i want the manchurian only he told me i can take remove rice from the Manchurian but the 25% remains the same. Don’t order paneer Manchurian from this store. You’ll get disappointed.one more thing don’t buy the indian brands of pop. Those are expired by 15 days (thumbs up and limca).
I got hair in their rice bowl and even I asked the same person from whom I took that when I asked for resolution he just said that can’t refund or replace the order that’s the most frustrating experience if someone is trusting you to get the food then u should provide them with the best but after this experience I’m unable to trust anyone for my food and their tone was not that of they did a mistake they should feel it or apologize but instead they denied in very weird tone …I didn’t expected that ….i spent almost 15$ and that’s wastage of money
I usually take Aloo or Paneer parantha from their breakfast menu on regular basis more than a year. And I like their fillings and recommended to many of my friends workjng i Down town. But after 2-3 months I tried the Paneer parantha on this Monday and taste is not at all good. t The quality, look and feel, size and mainly taste everything is bad. I reported the same to the person in counter and she generaously replaced it with Aloo parantha. But same with this one too. There is no stuffing in the parantha this time. I strongly believe the is a change in chef or compramize with the quality. I don't think I will revisit.
Butter Chicken is a comforting and flavorful meal, ideal for those who love creamy, mildly spiced Indian dishes. It’s an excellent option for meal. Flavourful!
With the price range of $21 this really really expensive and less quantity the taste is nor that great well this is not so well by giving the customers really less food what u are charging. Not at all happy. Running a promo with by one get one free but giving only quantity as of 1 in 2 box do not justify. The panner is so hard to chew. I spend $50 for the order with one more thing and just to amazed that this is the quantity they serve it not even worth $10 quantity and charging $21 for this.
Went here around 4 pm on Tues, Oct 17, 2023. I'd never been before. A sign beckoned me inwards, saying, "Today's special, butter chicken with rice for $13.99". I ordered at the counter and sat down. The lady at the counter confirmed if I was eating in or taking out, and called me when it was ready. It was served in a traditional metal bowl with a large heaping serving of basmati rice. However, thus was accompanied by plastic cutlery. The biggest issue with the food was the temperature, as both the butter chicken and rice were lukewarm. The curry/gravy portion was a tad oily and sweet for my taste, the latter of which I had expected. The chicken breast was also somewhat dry/overcooked, as chicken breast tends to get when it sits on the warmer for a time. There was a self-serve dispenser for water, but that, too, was served room temperature. The restaurant itself is small but cozy. I might come here again to try something else if I was in a rush, as the food was served quickly and was tasty, but I'd likely get something else.

Had chicken biriyani few days back. The rice was not cooked properly. It felt like somebody mixed uncooked rice with cooked rice. Chicken pieces were okay. But overall, I couldn’t enjoy the food. Also, the portion was too less for the price. This is the first place where I am getting only half the volume of a container box, when other stores try to give a container full of food.
Comfort food
Wow food
Got hair in the items and on asking the store they talked very rudely and just said we can t do anything
Fantastic food and excellent service
Amazing place
Amazing location, great food ,, excellent customer service five star from my side
Butter chicken really amazing . I will come again good job keep it up
I ordered Samosa Chat. And it had a stone in it. As big as a chic pea. I told the chef and he just said sorry and threw it away. Worst place and I will never be here again! Don t recommend it.
I have tried their Daal makhani , really good. Service was very quick.
Food was really amazing! Staff members are very kind overall 5 stars for this place .
One the best place to have Indian Cuisine. I tried Chicken Tikka Masala and it was very delicious. Must recommended place
Love the vada pav.. almost mumbai style.
Very good customer service and great food...Must visit
Really good India food same quality as other location at Bay St.
Great food. Customer service is also very good. Staff explain everything with polite way. I love colaba junction - Brookfield place food.
Worst food ever. Ordered three samosas and when given they were dripping with oil. Not properly cooked and my whole seat got covered in oil. Very unhealthy food.
Must try Veg Hakka Noodles and samosa choley chaat
Waaay overpriced. $20 for 4 bite-sized cubes of beef vindaloo and naan. Had to ask, and then insist, to get 2 more small cubes of beef and a cube of carrot. Naan was clearly frozen or stale, and then heated for so long that it became a hard cracker. At least the vindaloo gravy had some heat. Still, never again will I waste my money here.
One of the only places in the financial district that serve authentic Indian dishes. Would come here at least once a month to solve my flavourful and spicy cravings. My personal go to is a simple butter chicken & rice combo, with a parantha. Never disapppinted me yet and hope it never does. Cannot comment on atmosphere since it is located in a path foodcourt. However it is located on a corner so it is a bit easy to miss at times.
I stopped by at Colaba Junction in Brookfield Place for a quick snack. I ordered Samosas which were served hot with chutney. The price was fair and service efficient Colaba Junction have other delectable dishes on their menu which I could not try as I was pressed for time. I will definitely visit again whenever I am in Brookfield Place.
I wish there was an option to give no star I once had pav bhaji from this place months ago and I got food poisoning . Today my colleague wanted to eat so we got paneer chillie fusion with rice as they recommended it came extremely spicy and when I called to report it and let them know lady won t listen and kept justifying it . Worst service and food ever. Don t eat here it s really bad . Eat only if you want to get your stomach upset . I have never written this bad review for any restaurant but this was the worst among all .
Really good pav bhaji
The curries are great here
Very nyc place for indian food in heart of Toronto. Also good service by staff .
I got a veg thali and the rice was not cooked well. Also the curries were not good in taste. I would not recommend anyone to try the food at this place (p.s. the prices are unreasonable)
I paid 15$ for a meal with rice and gravy. She only added 3 pieces if paneer to my meal and had to insist to get more pieces added. It s absolutely not worth the price. I recommend Paramount and Thai Island which are right next to it. Good portion size for less money. Go to Chaska if you wanna have Indian. Not gonna go here anymore.
Food was highly priced. Veg thali did not have roti, but just naan made of maida. Really not worth spending on. Wont ever go here again.
Good India option
Good food @nominal prices
Good yummy food the young man was Excella the. Lots of food reasonable price
Ordered panner chilly and what I get is RICE PANNER CHILLY. The taste was good but it comes with PLANE rice. 90% of the container was filled with plain rice and only 5 panner pieces to be precise. it was not mentioned anywhere panner chilly comes with rice It cost more then 15$ for the item. Totally NOT WORTH IT. TO OWNER PLEASE MENTION THE ITEMS ON MENU CORRECTLY.
Great customer service food was fresh delicious very responsible
Excellent food
Oct, 11 2023: I found this place just out of the blue, because I was craving to eat some Indian Food in Financial District. Went there and got Station Wada Pav. Being from Mumbai, I had very low expectations to get authentic Mumbai Style Wada Pav. But when I ate it, I was amazed. The taste was perfect! I just missed the Fried Green Chilies, wish they could give that as a condiment. :) I am going to visit every Tuesday when I am at work @ Financial District. Overall amazing food and staff was great & courteous! Vegetarian options: There are lot of Vegetarian Options, as this is a Typical Indian food joint.
Great food! Good service.
Amezing food ..... Great service, Freindly staff.......
Everything was delicious!!
Food was amazing and staff was very friendly!
Colaba Junction is a small counter at the food court in Brookfield Place. It hosts many different types of Punjabi food items, including butter, chicken, chicken masala, paneer dishes, mutton etc etc. Etc. The food was fine, if I were to compare it to the cuisine in India, I would give it a three and a half or four out of five. Overall, wore good for a food court counter.
Channa masala and rice were good. The channa masala was quite flavourful, but could be a little spicy for some. Decent portion size for lunch. Would come here again. Dietary restrictions: Has vegetarian options
Good food and polite staff .. will come again
A samosa and chai from here is a great way to start the day
Staff are nice, Food is ok, not great. portion is small
Great service, good food.
