An Exquisite fusion of Indian Cuisine with a modern twist. Savoury Curries | Aromatic Biryanis | Tandoori Delights & More
I had an exceptional dining experience at Kadak. From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made me feel welcomed. The menu offered a diverse selection, and each dish was crafted with care and attention to detail. I particularly loved the Butter Chicken, which was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable—attentive but not overbearing. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere so perfectly. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
I had a great experience at Kadak! 🫶The vibe was warm and lively, ambiance felt welcoming. The food was fantastic—each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable. Kadak is a must-visit if you’re looking for delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere!
I had an unforgettable dining experience at this restaurant! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. We started with the Am Panna Margarita and the watermelon Mojito, both uniquely crafted and incredibly refreshing. The cheese truffle naan was a highlight—rich, flavorful, and absolutely indulgent. And the Gulab Jamun Crème Brûlée was a revelation, blending tradition and innovation into a dessert like none we’ve ever tried. This restaurant truly stands out as one of the finest Indian dining spots in Toronto. Nestled in midtown, it’s the perfect cozy escape, with warm and inviting decor that welcomes you from the moment you step in. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their dining experience!
I think it’s some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Toronto. Food was delicious, the customer service was fantastic, and the restaurant is clean and well decorated. Our server took the time to explain various different dishes and made great recommendations on food and spice levels. Will definitely come back again!
Good food and even better service! We initially ordered the lamb chops, kingfish curry and corn ribs. All were delicious, full of spices and flavourful, but the kingfish curry was too spicy for my partner, so we ordered a chicken curry that was just as delicious. We also ordered some naan and roti on the side -- the naan was far superior. The service is excellent as our server took the time to explain the whole menu and provided some suggestions. He was kind enough to give us dessert on the house to apologize about the spice level (which he really didn't have to but we appreciated the gesture!!). The dessert ended up being a gulab jamun creme brulee -- ingenious combo! I would definitely come back but be aware that the price is a little higher than one would expect.
It's one of the best Indian restaurants i have ever been to. The food epitomizes the use of the Marathi word "Kadak," which means amazing or extra ordinary. The overall experience was great. Our server Sudesh was very friendly, and his service was par excellence. He explained the food and helped us order. We ordered the Kale saag paneer and the Daal Bukhara. The food indeed was very vibrant, as the tag line suggests. The flavours were delectable, and I loved the fresh take on so many stereotypical dishes. The cocktail we ordered was probably one of the best we have ever had. The Watermelon Basil Martini is a must-have. The Aam panna chili Margherita was lovely as well. To finish on a sweeter note, we ordered the Gulab jamun Creme Brulee. It was top-notch. It personified the word Fusion. The flavors blended so well. The one thing I can say that sets this place apart is the passionate approach of the entire staff to make your visit memorable through amazing food and equally amazing service. This place should be on your list next. Great job, Team Kadak!
There are a few Indian restaurants that have come to yonge and eglinton over the past 5 years, but very few that rival the hospitality and quality of Kadak. For the locals this was the old 5 doors north location that held a special place in most of our hearts so very hard to compete with the emotional attachment. The remodel is stunning, modern with a nod to tradition. We had the corn ribs, wild mushroom korma, and butter chicken with garlic naan and it was all uniquely delicious. The naan which is sometimes just a side could’ve have been the main event for the attention to the cook, crispy on the one side and soft on the other with the perfect amount of butter and garlic. The menu is extensive with a focus on northern Indian food. We will be back sooner than we expected after our first experience. Thank you Sudesh and team for a lovely evening !
The food was top notch. We enjoyed our meal, especially the okra with creamy tomato. The service was also outstanding. Our server was attentive and helped us pick our dishes. It is a bit pricy, though. All in all, I would definitely recommend, and I will likely go back!
Slow service, good starters, average mains.
Great Service!! Will be back soon!!
Amazing place to be at. Absolutely stunning atmosphere. Loved the food, nice presentation and really great service.
One of my favorite place when i crave for an authentic indian food.. they are soo specialized that i am not bored going there.. everytime i visit they get to know about my craving and they suggest me accordingly... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... Food
Had the pleasure of dining at Kadak and had to leave a review because of how much I enjoyed it. The staff were very welcoming, took time to help my choose and food was amazing. 10/10 recommend. Special shoutout to Akshay.
We had a wonderful experience with delicious food, a fabulous presentation and a fantastic host, Akshay. The food was very tasty and filling.
We went there with family and really enjoyed our meal. Everything we tried Starters, main course, drinks and desserts were quite on point and reminded us of authentic flavors of Mumbai. Special thanks to Chef Mukesh and our server Kshitij for a warm and friendly service and lovely food.
Akshay is
Akshay u made it
Amazing food
We were a party of 9 and we were served by Akshay. The food for very good and service prompt. I will certainly recommend it to my friends
Great food, great service!
Nice restaurant Lamb chop and Saoji chicken was amazing. Food
Delicious crab xec xec, Punjabi paneer tikka and motichoor cheesecake. Tasty gin cocktail as well.
You should definitely try Kadak. They have some unique flavours to their dishes, it s not the typical flavour that you make expect. We tried their chicken wings, chicken biryani, and dabba gosht. All three dishes were unique, it s different and it s working ! Lastly, you have to try their guava mocktail, it was absolutely incredible.
Amazing food and fantastic service. Will definitely come back again! Food
I had the pleasure of dining here, and it was a culinary experience to remember! The chef clearly puts a lot of thought into combining ingredients. The Paneer Daelnaaz and Butter chicken was the best I ve ever had. Highly recommend this place for food lovers!
This place deserves ZERO stars, and they should be ashamed for what they serve. We just ordered takeout not only it was overly prices and the portions where minicules but it wasnt even good....especially the roti was old as heck..I would never go back even if it free.....I dont usually write reviews but boy they should be ashamed of themselves and what they serve
The dining experience was elevated by server Navjot s exceptional service attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring about every detail. Taste of food was fabulous and the whole experience was worth it.
excellent
Amazing restaurant in midtown! The food its a truly explosure of flavour! Highly recommended
Quaint Indian restaurant with impeccable service. Try the Butter Chicken, Aamchi Mutton ( goat) and the kale saag paneer with Moti Pulao. Flavorful food, well seasoned and tender meats. The spices were well balanced, tasty but not overpowering. We finished the meal with a gulab jamoon creme brulee, how original! We asked for the meal to be gluten free and nut free which was done without a fuss. Will definitely visit again. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and nut free options provided on request.
Great dine in experience. Super delicious food. Tea is out of the world
Great food, and the kitchen was flexible to get us our dishes with the exact spiciness that we wanted! The highway 401 chicken Tikka is so soft and to die for. The place is super cute and the waiters are very attentive and nice. Food
The food was really delicious. One of the best Indian food I have had in Canada.
I recently dined there and was really disappointed. I ordered the mutton with butter roti, hoping for a flavourful meal, but it wasn t good at all. The mutton tasted old and wasn t tender, and the curry was way too salty, so I couldn t taste anything else. Even the butter roti didn t meet expectations; it wasn t soft or buttery like it should have been. Overall, the food quality was poor, and I wouldn t recommend Kadak if you re looking for a good Indian meal. They need to work on freshness and flavours to make the experience worth it.
The crème brûlée gulab jamun was the best and loved the Mumbai masala cocktail! The main course of mushroom korma and butter chicken was also delicious and Kadak ;)
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this spot, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious each dish was packed with rich, authentic flavors that stood out from the usual Indian restaurant experience. It wasn t your typical menu or preparation, which made it all the more exciting. The vibe was immaculate an atmosphere that felt fresh and inviting, adding to the overall experience. The prices were justified by the quality and taste, which was refreshing to see. You could tell that every ingredient was carefully chosen and thoughtfully prepared. Honestly, it s the second-best Indian food I ve had so far, with my first being in Los Angeles, but this place definitely comes close. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable meal!
My friend and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kadak, and our experience was nothing short of unforgettable. From start to finish, every detail exceeded our expectations. The menu is both unique and diverse, offering a delightful range of flavors that left us wanting more. The portion sizes were perfect, striking just the right balance. We kicked things off with the Watermelon Mojito and Aam Panna Margarita both light, creatively crafted, and refreshingly delicious. For appetizers, we enjoyed the Cheese Truffle Naan, Kurkuree Bhindi, Pappad Basket, Punjabi Paneer Tikka, and Moti Pulao all bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we indulged in the Gulab Jamun Crème Brûlée, which was, without a doubt, one of the best desserts I ve ever had. It s a brilliant fusion of two beloved classics, blending Indian and French influences in a truly innovative way. The staff at Kadak were warm, friendly, and professional, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant s inviting, cozy atmosphere added to the charm, creating a relaxed and comfortable space to savor every moment. Plus, it has an interesting story behind it, which makes the experience even more special. Without a doubt, Kadak is one of the best Indian fine dining spots in Toronto. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!
The food was really nice. We ordered Burata chat - 5/5 Vada pav - 5/5 Tandoori stuffed mushroom - 4.7/5 Truffle cheese naan - 4.5/5 , this one i expected to be more cheesy but it was just paneer naan served with some spicy mayo kinda sauce. They can do better on the condiment provided as well to make it a 5/5 For drinks we tried mocktails. I am usually a cocktail person but their mocktails looked yumm based off the ingredients. Chennai express - its was a 3.5/5 for me, probably cz i expected it to taste like pina colada but it was more like very subtle aam panna. However, my friend seemed to like it Sip of amrood - 5/5 the salt on the rim added to the taste. The ambience was a 4.8/5. I missed music or some calm tones playing in my ears to add on to the interiors. At last, i wish their washrooms were properly built and clean. That s was the only area where i felt a bit bleh about the place. Otherwise the food and the customer service were amazing!!
A great experience! The food and drinks were amazing.
Another very excellent experience in Kadak. This is it was private event and it had nice selection of drinks, appetizers, veg / non veg items from menu. Service was excellent and they were ensuring all are attendedl
Service was great. Dal makhani and naans were good. However the paneer dish portion was a bit small and taste wise was okay.
I visited this restaurant yesterday and it was a really good experience.. the food and ambience was perfect especially the Gulab jamuns. I will visit again!
Food was so so so good . Presentation was amazing. Definitely coming back here. Hope to get the same service. Thank you Navjot for your service.
I absolutely love the food and the people here! Ask for Daal Khichdi its not on the menu, but theyll make it as a special one-off fusion dish!
A must try restaurant! Food was fantastic.
Excellent food. We shared some appetizers and currys. Everything had a unique flavor and was lovely. Their okra and Cauliflower was done beautifully. Service was friendly but we had to call waiter over several times: for water, to order, to get check. We would have ordered dessert but they never came back to get our order and eventually had to leave. The prices range around $30 per dish so would definitely not be a regular visit for us but we would go back.
Very good food , every dish has separate gravy teast. Trying gulabjam creme brulee is awesome, good beyond imagination.
Had my birthday dinner here, staff was lovely, food was delicious, 10/10 would recommend ! Dietary restrictions: Server was helpful at identifying what could be easily made vegan
Kadak Feels Like Home! I recently ate at Kadak Restaurant, and it was such a wonderful experience. Mugdha, who took care of us, was so kind and welcoming. She made us feel right at home, just like being back in Mumbai! The food was amazing full of authentic Indian flavors with all the desi spices you d expect. It reminded me of home-cooked meals, which was exactly what I was looking for. If you want real Indian food that tastes like home, this is the place to go! Thank you, Mugdha and Kadak team, for the great food and making the evening so special! Vegetarian options: There are a lot of Vegetarian Options So all the vegetarians out there must try;) Dietary restrictions: We were looking for something healthy
Don t be deceived by the look of the place, it is a classic example of a mid scale restaurant serving absolutely top notch dishes. KADAK is a street synonym in India for AWESOME! And the food here is just that. The two chefs that own the place with their third friend who manages the front are 5 star gents that bring their passion into their food. And you can taste it. Keep it up guys, you rock. And like the tag line, it is indeed vibrant. For those that are bored of the usual and mundane Indian fare, give this a shot! You will love it. P.S, the crème brûlée with gulab jamun was Kadak!
Ordered party size Biryani from Chef Mukesh. The Biryani was amazing!
One of the best restaurant I have been in Toronto. The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The ambiance & service of this restaurant is simply fantastic!
Food was surprisingly good. When I booked there were only two reviews here so I didnt know what to expect. They need to add herbal teas to the menu. Will come back again.
Too expensive and not worth the price. Food tasted too bland. Only chicken wings and Malai lassi was good other items didnt tasted well. Wont recommend.
We ate there last night, four of us. It was simply the best Indian food we ever had in Toronto. Understand, we are of an age and have experienced TOs Indian cuisine for years, but Kadak topped them all. Everything from the tandoori mushrooms through the mutton biryani, the chicken saoje and all the others were amazing. We recommend it wholeheartedly. Oh, and they even made me a Gluten Free bread which was not on the menu! Vegetarian options: Quite a few veggie choices, Dietary restrictions: They offer vegan and Gluten Free.
Excellent place with great food. Hospitality is fantastic! Our 25th Anniversary was well spent Dietary restrictions: No restrictions
This was a great find. The Indian food here is really good and tasty. The service is good too. Although I decided to take the patio seat, the decor inside was beautiful. Only downside was that it was a little pricey. I got the Classic Vada Pav and the Aamchi Mutton Curry and both were authentic and really good. Vegetarian options: Yes
Hospitality was great . we had a great time at Kadak. Celebrated my husbands birthday and the staff gave us complimentary dessert with a candle on it that was definitely a sweet gesture MUST TRY: these were great 1) Kadak moong chaat (veg starters ) 2)Kacche Gosht ki Biryani.(non veg mains) 3) Gulab jamun crème Brulee (dessert) Also tried : these were average in taste, 1) Naga chilli chicken wings (non veg starters) 2) Paneer Daelnaaz (veg mains) Gonna visit them again for sure
Ambience of the place was really nice. Staffs were really friendly and nice towards their guests. Foods were amazing. I would really recommend this place to visit.
Amazing. The food is delicious, fresh and with very good portions. Its also comfortable and they have a very varied menu. The food may have taken a while, but its totally worth the wait. The cocktails are also very good.
Kadak is a really nice restaurant with great ambiance. The food is very authentic and amazing. They have some really unique dishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely try their non vegetarian curries- Saoji chicken, aamchi mutton curry. Kid-friendliness: They have a special menu for kids, which includes makhani mac and cheese too.
Had dinner with the family yesterday and it was amazing all around! Everything tasted so wonderful! Service was excellent too. Good thing I don t live here otherwise I would have to go at least every other week . Whenever I m back in town this will be one of my first stops!
Very refined Indian taste.
We visited Kadak for a birthday dinner and thoroughly enjoyed. Lamb chops were the most tender and delicious weve ever had. The butter chicken and highway 401 chicken tika were also highlights. The birthday dessert (gulab jamun creme brulee) was a nice touch and delicious. Food presentation was lovely and everything was very flavorful. The atmosphere and service were particularly noteworthy. Dining room is beautiful, intimate, and relaxing. Our server Sudesh was very friendly and attentive. We felt very welcomed and well cared for the entire visit. Thank you Kadak, we will be back!
We recently visited this restaurant to celebrate our friend s birthday, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The team s thoughtful gesture made the occasion even more special. The ambiance was perfect, and the service was outstanding. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection. We ll definitely be returning!
Amazing food and a great atmosphere. Would highly reccomend for amazing Indain food near young and eglinton. Vegetarian options: kale saag paneer and dal bukhara Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free Parking: Plenty of paid spots on young street Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and Mac and cheese
A refreshing taste of how food tasted back home. Great taste and Beautiful presentation. we had Kadak Bhindi(must try!), Butter chicken and different naans. Will be coming back again soon. Thanks Sudesh for great service.
Beautiful restaurant, great service. The food was delicious. The butter chicken was authentic, like Delhi style, not sweet. We loved the kurkure bhindi.
Nice Service by Kaifi and good foo. Would love to comeback Food
After trying multiple Indian restaurants, I can vouch for Kadak to be the real deal! True to its name! The food taste exceeded my expectations & Sudesh did an excellent job in service. Food
It was not so Kadak experience. One can easily feel the taste of canned tomato puree from the Kadak Daal Bukhara. Only good thing was Pudina Paratha. The Kadak Soda Cocktail was OKAY. Classic Vada Pav was good but bun size could be bigger.
What a treat! I came here with my one year old son and husband. As soon as we entered we felt this calm energy. The service was incredible and attentive. The food was exceptional. We are sadly not from the area but we will make the effort to come here again with family.
Bit overpriced. Theres a lot of competition on Yonge st. Prices can be adjusted for the market price in the area. $6 for bread is too much. We paid about $100 for 2 ppl, no drinks, 3 dishes and 2 breads.
We were immediately greeted and brought to our table, there was lovely music playing, and it created a wonderful vibe. The food came out quickly but not at a concerning speed, the butter chicken was tender and the sauce was immaculate. The rice and naan were both delicious, we loved all of our food and enjoyed the generous servings. The wait staff were all very kind and welcoming, they made sure we had water and our food was good. After mistakenly telling our waiter the wrong payment method he was eager to solve the issue and did not seem aggravated at all. Overall this was a wonderful restaurant and we would certainly go back. Vegetarian options: There was a whole list of delicious and diverse vegetarian dishes. Dietary restrictions: The menu clearly states which dishes were gluten free, making my friends life very easy, and helped her feel safe with the food she was eating.
Food was excellent and the service top notch.
Gave money to spoil our stomachs!!! Worst food, they also served us old chicken. As we entered the restaurant we were surprised that it was empty but decided to try it as the reviews were good. Now I am starting to think if the reviews are fake. Will never visit again.
Best Indian food in Midtown Toronto.
The best Indian food in midtown
Awesome food, Sperb Ambience and Smiles :)
Beautiful ambience and friendly, helpful staff. The food was delicious 5 * and their presentation was gorgeous. Highly recommend. I ate the lunch bento box and portions were very generous. My new favorite Indian restaurant in the area.
Worst experience ever. They charged 8 dollars for a tea and the tea glass is even half. Seriously?
Food, service and ambience was incredible. The best Indian food I ve had- also, the staff was very helpful in explaining dishes, how they are made and what dishes pair together. Would recommend to anyone.
One of the best Indian food in Toronto by farrrr. Lived in almost all of North America but the Nagpur chicken curry, chole, and corn (bhutta) takes you to your home and childhood back in India. Guys, the drinks are to kill for. Go for literally any mocktail or cocktail and you can t go wrong.
Best place for dining and enjoying the most delicious food you can find in Toronto. You get a lot of options to select from. I tried a vegetarian curry which had amazing flavours on each bite and the naan was surprisingly fresh and soft even after ordering for take out . Amazing quality and tastiest food I tried so far. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options too and loved the naan and flavours of veg curry. Dietary restrictions: Kadak helped by understanding the dietary restrictions and provided options based on it.
Food is amazing. The flavours in the food stand out from other restaurants. Overall worth it
Kadak (Vibrant Indian Cuisine) was a huge disappointment. The food was okay, but the service was terrible staff were inattentive and unprofessional. Management clearly couldn t handle large groups, and the whole experience felt chaotic. On top of that, it was overpriced. Definitely not worth it. Avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere.
Ek Numberr Kadak
This is new and fabulously authentic Indian restaurant. Still trying to find its feet, don t be put off if it s not full. The food is blasting with authentic flavour. Don t miss it! Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie dishes.
Hidden gem! Recently opened (before it was 5 doors north, an Italian restaurant). Top notch Indian Cuisine!
Delicious food..zafrani Jhinga is a must tey! amazing hospitality. Warm and courteous staff..Authentic Mumbaikar taste! Highly recommended. Great place to enjoy dinner with friends and family.
Great hospitality , awesome food and top notch taste. Being nice to customers always goes a long way. Food is authentic indian style; zafrani zhinga butter chicken prawns koliwada are must haves..
A fantastic taste experience. Such nice service. Dont miss this place.
I happened to visit this restaurant during my visit to Toronto.Havinng a great location serving authentic Indian cuisine is their strength.Having said that the interiors of the restaurant also adds to the nostalgic charm to the entire dinning experience, which will remind you about the flavors of different parts of the Country. The food is fresh and not frozen a big plus ,hope the management highlight this, served in modern contemporary style, with pairing crockery and cutlery just complementes each other. The authenticity of the dishes speaks for itself with no modifications or alterations done to the specific dishes do justice to the cuisine. The service is also upto standards with knowledge staff and attention to detail. They also do some table side food finishing like caramelize the fenugreek butter which takes dinning experience to next level. At the end you will feel the money you have spent is value for it!
Yummy!
Great food, drinks, and service! We thoroughly enjoyed all the mouth watering dishes! Big shout out to Sudesh for making us feel warm and welcomed. Special mention: Naan (it was delicious!) Must try: Punjabi Chicken Tikka, Kurkure Bhindi, Chicken Xacuti
I recently dined at Kadak and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was authentic and bursting with flavors, perfectly capturing the essence of Indian cuisine. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made us feel right at home. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a memorable meal. Highly recommend Kadak for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Indian food in a great atmosphere!
A rare gem for Indian food, must try!! My husband and I ordered a chicken biryani, a moong daal chaat, and stuffed mushrooms and trust me all of them were delicious We were served with utmost professionalism by Suresh and we would recommend his service! For chai lovers, try their Kadak chai - totally loved it. Enjoy :)
Great ambiance, service, food and quality. Especially authentic Indian vibes. Much recommended!
Fabulous customer service and wonderful food. So many vegetarian options with authentic Indian spices flavor, without food being very chilly. Totally loved it, for sure coming back!
We recently went for dinner at Kadak, and WOW its truly a hidden gem in the Yonge and Eglinton area. The place is soo underrated. The food is top-notch in terms of flavours, quantity, and presentation, and the service is very hospitable. We ordered their Goat Curry, Wild Mushroom Korma with garlic naan and Pulao, and it was absolutely delicious. Moong chat was amazing. Service was also outstanding very polite and attentive. Highly recommend. One of the best Indian dishes Ive ever had. I hope the business keeps growing and that more people visit this place. Will visit again to try the other items on the menu. Kudos to the Chef and team Kadak.
We had an excellent meal at this neighbourhood gem! They do a creative spin on Indian classics, like truffle cheese naan and a lamb curry with a crispy onion nest on top. The atmosphere is elegant and the service impeccable. Well be back!
Had a good experience with my last order for catering service. Food was tasty and everyone liked it.
Delicious meal accompanied by amazing and attentive staff. Beautiful atmosphere
Karak chai was really good. The chicken tikka was a bit sweet. Kaifi was very friendly.
Food was amazing & so was the service by Sudesh
Great food, authentic taste and kind customer service! Recommend the Amritsari Chole. Vegetarian options: Good number of vegetarian options.
Delicious food. Great service.
Great Ambiance and Service but the only drawback is the food quantity, Taste was also not bad. Lassi was thick and had a great taste , other mocktail was not worth the price. They have a limited options on the menu and prices are bit on a higher side.
We visited 6people for dinner.Taste of food was good truly speaking but i must say quality is not as per the price taken,it is in the lower side. But the thing i would like to highlight the large party tax 18%, which is unexpected and unacceptable as well.on asking about that ,we are being informed it was mention in the menu card , below in small lines .The amount is huge and expectation was customer will read each of every line of the menu, like a leagal document or like some thing. This should be addressed before hand to customer.6 people and you need to pay 18% more money that you came to know at the time if billing which i feel is not right.
My friend and I ordered a Khichdi and kurkure bhindi! And as a first-timer here, would say one of the best Indian foods out here! We were gonna do take-out but as soon as we came in, got hooked with the decor and ambience. The service was so kind! They ve been around for only 5 months Would come back again. Vegetarian options: Both the dishes we ordered a vegetarian friendly and were super delish! Parking: Not bad, we got lucky that there s a GreenP spot available at the front of the resto.
Hi I am uber eats driver they took a long time to prepare order I wait one hour plz do not pick order of this restaurant
Must visit this place. Best authentic taste with the blend of modern native food flavour
All I can say is this is a MUST try restaurant in Toronto! The food and drinks are all made with love and the service is out of this world.
Amazing food and ambience. The service is exceptional. Definitely recommend trying the cocktails, Masala Mojito was delicious. We tried the goat with garlic naan, goat was really tender and spice level was on point. Highly recommend this place.
Great experience. The waiter was very polite and welcoming. The dishes were so tasty, delicious. Loved the goat dish and cocktails were right on point, very refreshing.
Good little restaurant, the waiter was courteous, the meal was tasty, we shared two chicken dishes. The dishes are quite spicy though. A real delight! This restaurant recently opened its doors. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dishes on the menu
Finally got to try this one restaurant in the neighbourhood Enjoyed every dished we had here! Definitely will come back for more
This was the best dinner experience Ive had in a while in this neighborhood. The atmosphere is very inviting, cozy and classy at the same time. Our server was attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The basil watermelon martini was delicious. The food was delicious. We really enjoyed our outing and will be back.
Must try their kale paneer.. it is delicious.. food combination is very unique . We tried boondi raita with pomegranate amazing.. saoji chicken is very authentic. Sujit made the service top notch.. loved this neighbourhood restaurant.. will definitely visit this restaurant soon
I feel like the good reviews must ve been purchased? The service was good, and our server (he said he was the manager) was quite nice however the food was terrible. We ordered tandoori stuffed mushrooms, the marinade wasn t tasty and the copious amount of feta cheese was overwhelming and not complementary with the mushroom. The moong chaat was ok in taste but literally burnt to the point where I couldn t even cut it. The daal bukara was actually so tasteless (maybe they re catering to a crowd with mild taste buds). They made a show out of melting butter with a blowtorch claiming it would give a smokey flavour lol. The only thing I thought was redeeming was the truffle cheese naan but 2 out of 4 pieces were raw from the inside! The garlic naan was good though, and they said it was egg free so that was also nice. I really wouldn t recommend it here! There s too many Indian restaurants in the GTA to waste money on poor food not to mention it isn t cheap. The manager took the chaat & truffle cheese naan off the bill which was very nice but the experience was already ruined. My boyfriend s stomach is actually still unsettled and it s the next day, I think it was the daal cause I didn t eat much of it.
This is our third time here and without a question , the food is so delicious and flavourful and fresh. If you are craving Indian food, come here! And the staff will take care of you so well!
This is an amazing Indian Place, The best in the city. Food
Had a great lunch at Kadak. I am a big fan of lamb so tried the Aamchi mutton curry with butter naan which was delicious with a nice balance of flavour and heat. Our server explained the menu well and presented some enticing options. The restaurant is simply but attractively decorated. A pleasant experience all around!
Amazing Street food, its feeling of being in Hometown your of birth. Thank you Sudesh amazing hospitality , Kheema pav, Gulab Jamun Creme Brulee was amazing, Had a beer served at perfect temperature. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans also.
One of the most Authentic Indian cuisine in Toronto. Menu is carefully crafted and dishes that are chosen to suit most palates. Amazing service. I recommended this restaurant for all those who want to taste real Indian food.
KADAK : Authentic flavors, vibrant spices, and friendly service make this a must-visit spot for lovers of Indian food. A culinary journey worth taking!
Im disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. The paneer tikka starter was terrible the paneer was hard instead of soft, and the taste was off. Plus, it was overpriced at $22 plus tax for just five pieces. I do not recommend this dish or restaurant at all.
Chic design and amazing food!
Nice atmosphere and delicious food, highly suggested.
Fantastic food! Service was over the top good! We went for a family birthday dinner and will return
Had a delicious dinner with excellent service. Standouts were the aloo gobi, chicken biriyani and hot and fresh garlic naan. The servers were friendly, attentive and went out of their way to offer a tasty dessert! Will go back again!
Beautiful ambiance, delicious food, unmatched service by server Mr. Sudesh. Good place for romantic date, with good friends, and family. Vegetarian options: Variety of lentils is plus Parking: Street parking is little bit hard to find ,if ok to walk 4-5 minutes than no problem
We had a wonderful evening with our friends at Kadak offering an amazing food & service. Perfect for any occasion. Highly recommended!
The entire experience was transformational. The ambiance of the space, our warm welcome combined with the knowledgable attentiveness of our server & the sublime menu. Bringing Indian Cuisine into the 21st Century with panache and flair. Yonge and Eglinton please take note of this gem!
The staff exhibited exemplary conduct and politeness. The meals flavor was satisfactory. Looking forward to seeing you again soon.
This place is really great. I have only been here for lunch, and the bento box is delicious and GREAT value. The decor is fabulous, modern and beautiful. But the best thing is the service. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. They even made my 8 month old a special snack just for baby . It was really thoughtful. Recommend! Definitely worth a try and one of the better Indian restaurants I have been to.
Liked the food , kid friendly. Love to come here and recommend visiting again.
Fantastic food. This place is a must try if you re craving authentic Indian food. In addition, the service provided by Sudesh, the co-owner of the restaurant. We would definitely visit this place again when we re in the area
This was one of the best experiences I ve had at an Indian restaurant in a long time! The staff is welcoming and polite. The food was unique for Indian food but tastes just as authentic. But the ambience made it top tier! The decor is modern and clean and the front opens up to allow fresh air through almost like an exposed patio which is great for the summer. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing food
Tasty Food, Great ambience and wonderful Service. The place is very clean and great for dine in.. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-Free
Very authentic! Amazing food, first time trying will definitely come back.
Had a great first time experience at Kadak tonight! The interior of the restaurant is gorgeous. Our waiter, Sudesh, was super nice and attentive. All the food we ordered was flavourful and filling. My favourites were the butter chicken and the highway 401 chicken tikka. I would definitely go back and recommend this place to others!
Butter chicken is wonderful here!
Amazing amazing food and incredible hospitality. One of the best restaurants in Toronto. Their butter chicken is outstanding

In summary, Kadak Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and is eager to explore the rich and varied flavors of Indian cuisine. Prepare to be delighted and surprised by the culinary delights that await you.
I had high hopes for Kadak, drawn in by its upscale ambiance and promising menu of Indian cuisine. Located in a bustling part of midtown, the restaurant exudes a modern yet cozy vibe, perfect for a special night out. However, my experience was marred by disappointments. The service was notably slow, with long waits for both seating and ordering. While the staff were polite, there seemed to be a lack of organization and attention to the pace of service. The reviews were misleading and the food, unfortunately, did not live up to our expectations either. The flavors lacked the vibrant freshness I expected from upscale Indian cuisine. A particular disappointment was the keema pav, which tasted stale and we had to return the same to the kitchen. I hope that Kadak takes steps to improve its service efficiency and food quality. With its prime location and appealing ambiance, addressing these issues could elevate it into a top-tier dining destination for Indian cuisine enthusiasts.
I had a great experience at Kadak! The food was amazing with good portion sizes as well. We ordered the 401 Chicken Tikka, Saag Paneer and Butter Chicken and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The interior was also very well designed and felt very vibrant!
I wish I could give this place more stars since the food was tasty, but unfortunately the experience was very poor. I made it clear that I could not eat cilantro and was reassured that while there were fine amounts of cilantro in the marinade of app we ordered, I would not taste it. While we waited for our food the AC unit started pouring a stream of water on my head and we were moved to the table next to us. A few mins later, that end of the AC unit started dripping on me as well so we were moved again. At this point our appetizer came out and I could immediately see large cilantro leaves in the marinade . I tasted it and confirmed that it was full of cilantro and my partner (who loves it) did as well. The server was apologetic and offered to bring out a portion of a different appetizer for me to try which I accepted. He then came back and said it would be a full appetizer and asked if that amount of food would be okay, to which I said yes. Once we got the bill we saw that we were charged in full for the appetizer despite the issues with the AC soaking me and the miscommunication on the cilantro. This was very disappointing as I would not have ordered and paid for 2 apps if I knew that would be the case. We were also charged for 2 orders of naan when we only asked for 1. Overall it was disappointing that such great food was diminished by such poor service.
All I can say is Wow! I had high expectations after reading so many wonderful reviews and Kadak definitely exceeded them. The atmosphere was so nice, we were welcomed right away by Sudesh who took us through the menu and gave us amazing recommendations. He was so friendly and helpful throughout our whole visit. The food came out and our whole table couldn t stop raving about how amazing it was. From appetizers to mains, we enjoyed everything thoroughly. They even customized the spice levels to our preference as some of my friends couldn t handle a lot of spice. We also tried some of their cocktails/mocktails which were so tasty and creative. Already planning our next visit back here! Thank you Kadak!
I have no idea who is giving this place such good reviews,; maybe friends and family supporting them. But I ordered delivery cuz of all the good reviews and the food was disgusting. Everything floating in oil and tasted like made by using a ready spice mix and boiling chicken / meat in it. Had to throw it out sadly waste of money
The colors are so vibrant and beautiful, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food at Kadak was fantastic! I loved the crispy rawa fried fish. The saoji chicken was tasty, and the truffle cheese naan was a delightful twist. For dessert, the gulab jamun creme and malai kulfi were both amazing.
Been searching for Indian authentic food since long finally got the soul Indian food at Kadak . Amazing atmosphere , delicious food and great hospitality .Must visit
Great taste.. highly recommended!
WOW! By far the best restaurant in the yonge & eg area! Thank you Sudesh! The food was outstanding: vibrant, well-spiced, with complex flavours and outstanding presentation. Highly recommend the butter chicken and the saoji chicken. The service was superb. Sudesh was taking care of us, and he was fantastic: friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, helpful, and simply a great guy! An absolute must-visit - and what a beautiful decor!!
KADAK is absolutely outstanding and is probably the best restaurant in the area at the moment. My wife and I went here for dinner not knowing what to expect but were blown away by the whole experience. The food is outstanding, the service is top notch, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous but not excessive. Sudesh had great recommendations, did not rush us, and was more than happy to answer our questions. You owe it to yourself to check out this new restaurant in the area. As someone lucky enough to live nearby, I know I will be, again and again! Oh, and get the Gaadiwala Anda. Its incredible.
First visit and the food was excellent. All the dishes were delicious and the servers were great and made terrific recommendations. The Chef came to the table to see how our meal tasted. Very friendly place and a great addition to the neighbourhood.
Vibrant, inviting restaurant with a great selection of Indian menu and very delicious food. Very good service. Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian items to chose from Dietary restrictions: They have V, GF, Dairy free options Kid-friendliness: Menu has good options for kids
Kadak met all our expectations. My friends and I went for my birthday dinner and the food was just beyond our imagination. Every single appetizer and main hit the spot. We tried butter chicken and aamchi mutton curry. It was amazing. In house desserts are the best. We tried gulab jamun crème brûlée. The decor was gorgeous. The service, food and ambience were great and I would recommend this place for a unique and worthwhile experience.
The decor here is so charming and cozy, it really adds to the overall dining experience. The lighting here is perfect, it creates such a warm and inviting atmosphere.coming to food part amazing food experience I ever had in Toronto, specifically kheema pav, fish n chips truffle naan and zafrani jinga flavours in each dishes are so well balanced specifically in dumpukth mutton biryani its toooooo good I never had biryani like this in Toronto. The service here is impeccable, thank you for being so attentive.
Me and my girlfriend saw this place plenty of times around the area and decided to give it a shot. To our surprise it did not disappoint! The service was great with extreme attention to detail and the food was incredible. Definitely recommend this place for people who are in search for great ambiance, great food, and exceptional service all comes with a price of course but it s definitely worth it.
Delicious food and great service!
This has to be hands down the best Indian restaurants in town! The food is so fresh and delicious. Ambience is also very vibrant and spot on. I will definitely visit again!
I went to celebrate a special occasion and tried this restaurant for the first time. We were amazed by the service, hospitality, and the ambience of the restaurant. We ordered Chicken Lollipop, and Punjabi Paneer Tikka for the starters which were literally MOUTH-WATERING! These two dishes were delicious. Then we ordered Amrud Mocktail and - hands down, one of the best mocktails we had in such a long time. Then we ordered the Saoji Chicken Curry & Truffle Cheese Naan - I still have that amazing taste whirling in my mouth and I cannot stop thinking about it especially the truffle naan. It was THE BEST! Then we ordered the Paneer Daelnaaz. Sadly, we did not ask the servers advice (which was completely our mistake) but it was a bit on the sweeter side which we usually never opt for.. Then, we ordered 2 more drinks (I cannot remember the name but one was with the Elaichi-sage, and the other one was with Pomegranate-thyme) We would still incline towards the Amrood Mocktail because - Ahhhh, no words to describe (Heaven) !!! Not to miss out - but the hospitality and sincerity of the staff of this restaurant is top notch. Everyone was very polite, friendly, and when the chef heard about our experience with the Paneer Daelnaaz, he especially came out to have a chat with us and to confirm if we wanted any other dish in its replacement which was quite a gesture and left us speechless!
Our recent visit to Kadak Vibrant Indian Restaurant was fantastic! We savoured the Rawa Fish & chips and Chicken Lollipop, both bursting with flavour. The Saoji Chicken lived up to its signature status, and the Vegetarian options like Kadak Moong Chat and Truffle Cheese Naan were equally impressive. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun Crème Brûlée was a must-try and added a perfect sweet ending to our meal. The service was top-notch, and the ambiance added to the overall experience. Highly recommend Kadak for an unforgettable dining experience!
Good
Kadak lives upto its name as its food was definitely Kadak (in Bombay Slang). We were there for dinner and overall everything was amazing - food, service and the ambience. The Chef Akshay specially came to see us at our table to check and ensured everything was good. Overall it was an awesome experience and we would definitely recommend Kadak to anyone for great modern Indian food! P.S. The Saoji chicken was to die for!
Very nice lunch menu. Will come back to try dinner. Great service, very friendly. Vegetarian options: Lunch menu included veggie and non veggie options. This worked very well for the five of us as we all had different meals.
The mutton curry was good , the chicken biryani perfect spice balance, and the naan was fluffy and warm. The drink complemented the meal well. We enjoyed it so much and my friend ordered to take away!
We visited to celebrate our anniversary, a bit disappointed that they didn t have the liquor license yet (they have it now I believe) but the mocktails we had were delicious. The service was fantastic, our server was informative, attentive, and friendly. Everything that we ordered was wonderful but the butter chicken was definitely the best I have ever eaten. The decor is beautiful. We weren t keen on the pop music being played but that is a personal preference. Definitely recommend!
The Saoji Chicken is a standout with elegant decor and attentive service, Highly Recommend.. Definitely Coming back.
Excellent
We enjoyed the vada pav and the creme brulee gulab jamun. The saoji chicken curry was also good, tasted like homemade gravy. We tried the paneer daelnaaz, which was said to have interesting dill flavors, but it was more like regular kadai paneer with some dill leaves added as a garnish. Quantity of both gravies were quite limited.
The first thing that you notice in this restaurant is the soothing ambience. The server walked us through the entire menu and recommended some amazing dishes. Guava chilli mocktail is a must try! Moong dal chaat was delicious. Saoji chicken tasted out of the world, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavours were amazing! They had mango phirni specially for the mother s day and it was truly delicious. The taste is still lingering in my mouth Can t wait to go back again ..
This Indian restaurant is a gem! The Saoji Chicken is an explosion of spicy, tangy flavours absolutely mouth-watering. The Hajiali Seekh Kebab is perfectly grilled, juicy, and packed with spices, melting in your mouth with every bite. For vegetarians, the Paneer Daelnaaz is a creamy, flavorful delight that s simply divine. Each dish is a testament to authentic Indian cuisine. Highly recommended for an unforgettable dining experience!
Great evening spent with Falguni and Akshay. Had a very good time celebrating with delicious food.
We tried the Vada pav with cutting chai as an evening snack and it was delicious! Can t wait to come back to this place to try other dishes :)
We decided to try the new Kadak restaurant after reading all the positive reviews and we were not disappointed! We were welcomed immediately by the friendly host and were introduced by our waiter who was friendly as well. We opted for the Classic vada pav as starters and got the Truffle mushroom kichdi. We also got the kulfi as dessert. The kulfi was the highlight. Definitely recommend!
I came in great expectations and the place met almost all of em! Love the ambience, the interiors, the service, and most importantly the menu! Of course I could not get my hand over all the dishes, but whatever I had, I loved it. Recommendation: Tangdi Kabab, Saaoji Chicken and kindly do not miss the Chai!
Kadak wasnt just a meal, it was an EXPERIENCE! MUST TRY!! The vibe was great, the food was delish and the staff was super warm and welcoming. We even received a hand-written cute thank you note towards the end to explore their flavors, which was an amazing touch! We ordered 2 main course items, chicken ghee roast and amchi mutton curry both were mind-blowing. Vastly varying tastes, super soft meat, that we couldnt decide which one should be the last bite to have the final taste in the mouth. Protip: explicitly ask for Indian spicy if you like desi spicy food. Would definitely go back to try more items!
Absolute amazing place to try authentic Indian specialty food. We ordered Vada Pav and it was by far the best Vada Pav in Toronto. Also try the lassi, it is truly delicious. The ambience is very nice & the service is excellent.
I recently dined at a newly opened restaurant on a Friday evening. The first thing that struck me was the amazing ambiance and the incredibly welcoming staff. As for the food, it was undeniably delicious, well-prepared, and served in generous portions, unlike some other fine dining establishments that skimp on quantity. We ordered several dishes: Aamchi Mutton Curry Ghee Roast Chicken Curry Saoji Chicken We also tried the truffle cheese naan, a stuffed cheese naan that was a must-try. Additionally, we requested an off-menu item, chili garlic naan, and were delighted to see it added to the menu the very next day. This demonstrates their commitment to listening to customer feedback. For those who enjoy spicy food, I recommend asking for extra spice when ordering, as the chef is happy to accommodate this request. Overall, the food was amazing, with generous portion sizes and excellent customer service. While the prices are slightly higher than average, they are completely justified by the taste and portion sizes. I hope they maintain this level of quality consistency in the long term . I look forward to visiting again and trying more of their menu recommendations.
I recently dined here and had an exceptional experience. The restaurant boasts a charming ambiance with warm lighting and stylish decor. The food surpassed my expectations with its freshness, bold flavour, and exquisite presentation. Each dish was a culinary delight. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a seamless dining experience. What impressed me the most was the value for money - delicious food at reasonable prices. Whether youre looking for a romantic dinner or a casual meal with friends, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.
Visited with family and relished the Mumbai delicacies wed been missing. The vada pav, keema pav, and Haji Ali seekh kabab were particularly delightful. Highly recommend this place to everyone.
Exorbitant prices considering the portion . Also Food had little or no taste !
Loved their food, service and ambiance.
I recently dined at kadak and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance transported me to the vibrant streets of India. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. Now, onto the food the flavors were simply outstanding! Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with authentic Indian spices and freshness. The menu offered a wide variety of options, catering to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken, which was creamy and rich, and the garlic naan was perfectly fluffy and aromatic. To top it all off, the presentation of each dish was impeccable. Overall, Kadak exceeded my expectations in every aspect, and I cant wait to return for another unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended to anyone craving a taste of India!
From the moment I step foot into this culinary oasis, I was transported into a world of aromatic spices and tantalizing flavors. The ambiance exudes sophistication and warmth, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu at KADAK is a masterful blend of traditional Indian dishes with innovative twists. However, its the Kadak Moong Chaat that stole the show - a divine fusion of crispy moong dal fritters served with an array of tantalizing dips. Each bite was a revelation, with the perfect balance of crunch and flavour that left me yearning for more. Chef Akshay recommended this Chaat to us and boy oh boy it was something to die for! Another standout dish for me was the Sev Bhaji - a delightful combination of crispy sev and flavorful bhaji. The textures and flavors complemented each other perfectly, creating a dish that takes me back to the days when going out with family to a Dhaba was a thing. I never thought someone would be able to pull it off in Toronto but kudos to the team! PS: I am a vegetarian so I truly appreciate good Indian vegetarian options. The service at KADAK was impeccable, with Sudesh who anticipated our every need without being intrusive. The attention to detail and commitment to excellence truly set this restaurant apart. In summary, KADAK is a culinary gem that deserves every bit of its five-star rating. Whether youre a connoisseur of Indian cuisine or simply looking for an unforgettable dining experience, KADAK is the place to be. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options reminded me of home cooked food with love and affection and it s a must try! Dietary restrictions: The service staff carefully noted out dietary restrictions and catered to those with utmost care.

Amazing food, flavor and people! Just visit, a top line restaurant in mid town!
Great place to enjoy Indian food, my favourite items that I would highly recommend are stuffed mushrooms, truffle naan and had the best mocktails here!
Kadak is hands down the bomb dot com for Indian food! The flavors are so vibrant, from cheesy naans to the spicy curries. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a chill outing with friends or a cozy date. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. MUST TRY: Amrud mocktail Truffle cheese naan Stuffed mushroom Kheema paav Paav bhaji Gulaab jamun creme brulee ok, I guess my list will be endless So try it for yourself! Definitely my new favourite Indian restaurant!
Kadak Restaurant exceeds expectations. Attentive service guides you through their inventive menu. The food itself stuns with vibrant colors and takes classic Indian dishes to new levels. Every bite is a burst of flavor, perfectly balanced by cool chutneys and raitas. Its not just a meal. Its a culinary journey.
The Yonge and Eglinton area was just graced with the arrival of the refreshing and vibrantly designed Kadak! We were advised by the friendly and helpful staff that the menu included a number of dishes that weren t limited to one region of India or another. As spice tolerant and perpetually hungry Torontonians my partner and I were very excited to try a number of their curries as they d mentioned that their dishes leaned more towards the spicier end than sweet. There is a good handful of vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu but my partner and I ordered the Saoji chicken curry (recommended as being the spiciest curry on the menu) and the butter chicken as well as a starter. All of which had been cooked beautifully. The Saoji Chicken curry was spicy but not overly spicy for my partner and I but then again we eat quite a bit of spicy food however we did need a tissue by the end of our meal. The Zaffrani Jhinga prawn starter included 4 large saffron flavoured tiger prawns, a small kale salad, and kale dip that we inhaled - I only wish we d ordered more. The butter chicken particularly was outstanding and had a fun twist at the table in which a blow torch was the finishing touch! I ve been to many places in the city and tried many butter chicken dishes where I ve felt it was more of a sweetened tomato soup with chicken than a chicken curry and was SO happy to have ordered Kadak s version of the butter chicken. Truly, it was the best butter chicken I ve had in the city. We additionally ordered both garlic naan and jasmine rice to accompany the curry dishes and a basket of papad and left full and content and keen to return to try out the rest of the menu. On our way out, the staff kindly gave us both a refreshing pani puri (street food snack) and these one-bite sized snacks are so delightful to have both as a canapé in the beginning of your meal and at the end and one that we both will remember to order again the next time. Thank you for a lovely and welcoming experience and meal, we will see you again!
Food was absolutely amazing. Best Biryani in the city. Service was top notch and all the staff were extremely friendly. Restaurant is decorated beautifully and has an amazing atmosphere. Cannot recommend this enough!
Delicious! Welcoming atmosphere, food was updated classics, just perfect. Can t wait to go back
Today I had paneer Delnaaz and Garlic Naan and both items were so delicious. Will definitely go back again to try other items on the menu
The BEST Indian food I ve had in Toronto hands down. This place offers exceptional taste, presentation and customer service. The upscale vibes are just perfect ! MUST TRY !!!
Reason for 2 stars is the food. No good taste. I am a punjabi if I order daal tadka I want to eat daal Not something sweet they add sugar in daal i guess. Well I do not like it thats the reason for my review. Food
The best butter chicken ever! Amazing appetizers and service. This restaurant is 10/10. Highly recommended.
Your Gudhi Padwa specials (Masale Bhaat, Kothimbir Wadi, Kala Chanyachi Usal) are incredible! and the rest of items as well. I hope the specials become a permanent part of your menu. Thanks
I recently dined at Kadak Restaurant and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambience was inviting, the food was amazing with a variety of authentic Maharashtra-style cuisines, and the use of imported spices from India added an extra touch of authenticity. Do try the Saoji chicken curry. The staff were warm and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout our meal. I would like to extend my kudos to the whole team, with a special thanks to Sudesh, Nav, and Mugdha for their outstanding hospitality. We even had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, who was courteous and down-to-earth. I would give Kadak a perfect 10 out of 10 for their ambience, food, and hospitality highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
I don t often write reviews for businesses, but after the experience I had at Kadak, I had to jump to it! The food was fragrant, delicious and fresh. Great presentation and overall atmosphere. The service and attention to detail is what took our evening to the next level. The Kadak team s warmth and personal touches made the evening feel extra special. Would highly recommend! Vegetarian options: Great for vegetarians and vegans tons of options!!
Small but an extremely elegant place, beautiful vibe and ambience. Top it up with delicious food and a very professional staff. Highly recommended !
Such amazing food, with different levels of flavours, couldnt pick a favourite! They really do care about making it feel like an experience and make every casual meal feel like a special occasion. I cant wait to go back and so happy I have leftovers!
This Indian restaurant gives a wonderful fine-dine experience. The decor and ambience is a good blend of contemporary and ethnic styles with Hindi music playing in the background. The food was delicious with a decent portion size. I had their Gudi Padwa special thali. Kothimbir wadi, Shrikhand Puri, and Puranpoli were filled with authentic flavors. Try their Sip of Amrood mocktail, it is super yummy! The entire team is very polite, welcoming, and down-to-earth. They made sure I had everything I was looking for. The chef himself came to my table and asked me for feedback and if any improvement was needed in my experience. Will definitely visit again to try out the regular menu and upcoming cocktails. Please add Shrikhand Poori and Kothimbir Wadi to your regular menu too! :-)
Excellent Food and Ambiance.
Amazing food and great service. Easily the best Indian food in Toronto.
The food was the best Indian food I have had in Canada! That daal was amazing and the aamchi mutton was to die for. I would recommend the truffle cheese naan and the daal bukhara
An absolute stellar experience at Kadak. The staff are very friendly and not over the top but the atmosphere is paired with a nice elevated experience. A perfect place for a casual catch up with friends or a fancy dinner night. I haven t tasted many Indian places in Toronto but the food here was of quality beyond anything I had in the city. I would highly recommend the dal Bukhara. The chef came out to caramelize the top of the dish which was a nice touch.
The food and service by Sudesh was amazing. Highly recommended!
Amazing savoury and not sweet Butter Chicken, service was even better!
This place opened near Yonge and Eglinton recently. It is an upscale Indian Restaurant with lovely decor and a very calm vibe. A bit expensive but thats every place in the neighborhood. Thus far, I have had Cafe Iraani Keema Pav and Saoji Chicken Curry with roti. The Cafe Iraani Keema pav had a lamb mince curry which came with two pavs. It was cooked well and tasted great. Lamb can be a hit or miss. I would have preferred more spicy, next time I will ask. The two pavs were toasted a bit oily. Luckily there was a paper napkin tucked underneath the keema cup. This was a side dish but I was full for hours after. Next time, for dinner, I tried Saoji Chicken Curry with roti. The chicken flaked easily, the curry had a subtle flavour and made a perfect meal with Roti. It is nagpur style, says the description, Try it.
