Food was good. Had a great time and Harshika served us really well.

I have been wanting to visit Khazana for a while and finally got a chance last weekend. And I was in heaven!!!! This is the first fine dine Indian restaurant that served authentic Indian cuisine. The kind I get in Mumbai at good Indian restaurants! And trust me, this is the inly place that serves such good mouth-watering, soul-satisfying Indian vegetarian heavenly delicacies. I have tried Indian fine dine in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Milton, Malton, Oakville, Elora, London, Edmonton and Jasper, but not a single place comes close to the food served here! I absolutely loved their menu! And in order to try most of their items, I opted for their Vegetarian tasting menu, and oh boy, I am glad I chose that. This is what it contained: - masala papad tart for amouse bouche - appetizer platter with panner, kabab and aloo (paper was made in house for sure, so tender juicy and flavourful. Kabab was like galouti kebav, absolutely melt-in-mouth. Aloo was so well seasoned in imli-khajoor chutney and tandoori favours) - jackfruit kofta (to die for!), dal makhani, paneer butter masala, biryani rice and bread platter (with honestly the best Garlic Naan in Canada!) - dessert tasted very diabetic friendly, bot too sweet, just enough to get the satisfaction. Star dishes: paneer tikka, kathal koftas, garlic naan and kebabs. Best part: even after eating so much, I didn t feel bloated or heavy at all. Which means no added soda, and fresh ingredients! Also, my friend ordered chicken biryani. She loved it. But even though she is a hardcore carnivore, she loved my vegetarian food more! I am coming back with more friends!! Absolutely loved my experience here. Special shoutout to Kiran for her great service! Only thing, I d expect them to be a little more observant being a fine dine place. It was my friend s birthday and I did a whole gift unwrapping at the table and even informed one of the other servers. But there was no response or added service for that (no offer to even write a birthday message on our dessert plate at extra cost too) that was the only expectation that fell short. Vegetarian options: Amazing vegetarian options, so much so that my non-veg friend kept her non-veg food aside to dig into my veg plate! Must visit for best Indian vegetarian delicacies! Kid-friendliness: Yes! Totally!

When you visit a restaurant bearing the name of a renowned chef, you naturally expect an experience that stands out something unique compared to other local spots offering similar cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience didn t quite live up to those expectations. The ambiance, the food, and the overall taste left much to be desired. Despite the premium pricing on every item, the quality didn t justify the cost. In my opinion, you could find equally delicious food for a fraction of the price elsewhere. Of course, this is just my perspective, and I encourage others to visit and form their own opinion. But as a chef, I couldnt help but feel a bit let down by the experience.

This restaurant was an incredible experience. We came all the way from Florida and Vivek really took care of us. He made sure we were fed, warm, and pleasured. He met my every need, and I had a very happy ending. (To my Canada trip)

Trade your reviews for free dessert , thats the offer they have and hence these many 5 reviews. Service was pathetic, we had to call them for water and for placing order. Washroom was not clean and after informing, it took more than 5 mins for them to look that up. Food was average.

Went to Khazana Toronto on a Thursday evening. Food was delicious!!! Just awesome!!! Me and my wife had the Sindoori Salmon which had a sweet and spiced taste and then we had the Cooker wala Kukkad which was again delicious. Perfect balance of spices. Highly recommended! Our server Mehul was very professional and warm. His service was just great!

I went there for dinner and everything served on the table was great and absolutely delicious. Ranjeet being the sweetest server made sure we had the best of our experience. All in all a very good place to visit if you are craving good indian food in toronto.

I reserved a table over a month ago at the Khazana downtown location but was seated near the door, where it was uncomfortably cold due to frequent opening & Closing. For the price, the interior felt subpar. While the curries & Breads were decent, they didn t meet the expectations set by Sanjeev Kapoor s reputation. Service was average, with missing utensils and no tissues provided even after multiple requests. The Veg Biryani was disappointing uncooked vegetables mixed with rice and gravy, far from authentic. With a mandatory 18% gratuity for four people+, it felt excessive given the service quality. I won t be returning.

Loved the daal tadka.I don t know why the review that I submitted didn t go through. I loved the food but the quantity of daal was very low. My sever said it was 160z but there is no way it was 16oz. I loved the moong dal ka halwa. Paying 22 dollars for dal and it s not sufficient for the rice you order. I wish it be more. I feel it s not sufficient for a single person as well. Thank you

I visited this restaurant for my anniversary, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. While the food was decent, the service was terrible. The ambience left much to be desired the cutlery was old and worn out, and the table was not even clean when we arrived. We had to call the staff multiple times for basic things, and it felt like we were doing their job for them. It was frustrating and took away from the special occasion. Definitely not worth the money.

Was waking down Yonge street after doing some shopping and passed by this place and decided to give there express lunch a try. We started with the truffle tikka chicken which omg it was incredible! We ordered the non veg lunch which came with fresh nan, a 24k Dahl and a delicious butter chicken. Harshika was also incredible and super sweet and the service was great. I ll definitely be back very soon!

I seriously dont understand the previous 4 and 5 star reviews. The food came out after an exceptionally long delay, but was cold, in need of salt, and underwhelming in both quality and quantity. We had to sit with a space heater under our table and the servers mixed up our order. Not impressed. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but toronto is blessed with hundreds of cheaper and better tasting indian food options .

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! Butter Chicken was inedible!! Rock hard, dried out chicken breast. Im still trying to figure out how it got so bad...I actually thought it was frozen solid thats how bad it was. Everything was cold! Things where the order belonged and ended up. What a waste of $70!

The food was significantly overpriced for the portion sizes provided. While the service was acceptable, it didn t stand out in any way. Overall, I felt that the value for money was lacking and would hesitate to recommend this place to others.

Visited this place with friends by checking the reviews but its definitely not as good as described. The atmosphere is ok but the price of the food is really high as compared to the portion theyre serving. Also no one came for around 10-15 minutes to take order and whatever we were ordering its was served after 20-25 minutes though its understandable that they might be busy with other guests but some itmes which were ready and was at the bar we saw that but no one cared to bring it to us. So would highly recommend to go to any other fine dine restaurant than this one as your money will totally going to get waste.

I normally don t write negative review but I was surprised as I don t want to spoil the image of Sanjeev Kapoor. I went to this place with very high expectation as I really like Chef Sanjeev Kapoor but I was disappointed with the service and food. First of all there was no hospitality the server don t know how to pour water in the glass, was spilling everywhere, then food were served with no cutlery on the table we had to ask for it, then no tissue paper or cloth was there on table. Had to wait a lot for food to serve and the food was not up to the mark, it was bland and tasteless plus it s overpriced for nothing. Complete waste of money in the name of chef made restaurant. I think chef has to take a look to his restaurant staff and service in order to save his brand image.

Wow what a great dinner idea right here! Took my parents last minute to this restaurant because they didnt want fast food/street meat. Fair prices for authentic Indian food, and great presentation for the lamb and rice specifically. Pairing this with butter chicken is a enough to feed 3 people with 2 dishes. I chose Khazana by Sanjeev Kapoor in downtown Toronto to celebrate my birthday with friends, expecting an unforgettable evening. Unfortunately, it turned out to be unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. While the ambience was decent, the food was an absolute disaster. Every dish we ordered was bland and completely tasteless. For a restaurant boasting a celebrity chefs name, this was beyond disappointing. On top of that, the prices were outrageously high for the mediocre quality of food served. The experience was a total waste of time and money. If youre looking for a good dining experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

**Restaurant Review: Khazana Toronto Downtown** Rating: I recently had the misfortune of dining at Khazana Toronto Downtown, and I must say, it was one of the worst restaurant experiences Ive ever encountered. **Food Quality and Quantity**: I ordered the business thali, which was supposed to include one appetizer, two mains, naan, and rice. What I received was a shocking display of portion sizes that looked like leftovers instead of a proper meal. The tiny tin bowl where the dal was served was laughable it was so small that the spoon they provided was almost bigger than the bowl itself! Talk about a lack of attention to detail. The naan was burnt and nearly inedible, and the biryani was just a bland mound of rice with a dash of spices, lacking any vegetables as described on the menu. It was truly disappointing. To cap it all off, the paneer tikka was charred and drenched in oil, leaving a bad taste in my mouth literally and figuratively. **Pricing**: To make matters worse, the charges were exorbitantly high easily double that of an average restaurant. For the laughably small portions, I barely received a third of what I would expect at any decent establishment. It felt like I was paying for air, and the experience left me feeling cheated. **Overall Experience**: In short, Khazana Downtown is not a place you want to waste your time or money on. If you re looking for satisfying, flavorful food, steer clear of this establishment. I left feeling hungry and frustrated, wondering how they can get away with serving such a dismal meal at such outrageous prices. Do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere you ll thank yourself later.

Enjoyed dining in on Saturday night with my wife. Good location, beautiful ambience, and Vinny was great. She made sure we had enjoyable night. Peshawari karahi paneer was good, and pomegranate mojito was really good as well.

Food was really delicious and we loved the drinks too Pomegranate Mojito and Berry Colada. Must eat out place if you re visiting Toronto !! Highly Recommended !! Vinny was great. She made sure we had fun night.

As i have been to many nameless restaurants which are local and really good i would not give this restaurant which is under the name of one of famous Chef in India, i had way better expectations Food is way lower than average, giving it fancy names wont make it fancier, have had better quality food I would give 3 stars for the staff because they are nice, but service wise they wont even clear out menus of the table (feels very congested) I have never had a headache after going to any other fancy/fine dining Indian restaurant with way more tables and People than I had here today, literally a fish market. If you are planning on a nice quiet evening do not go here Overall very close to average and not worth the price

The food is tasty and the service given by Viny is admirable.

Underwhelming. The ambiance feels very cold just like the chicken that was served to us. We got the tasting menu, it was alright. Small portions. The taste was nice but not mouth watering. The servers seems to never be looking at you when you need something. Tables are sticky from the chemicals they spray. Just feels low quality overall and I will not be returning.

The atmosphere was really warm and cosy the food was good but not that great when it comes to value for money and as we went out on a busy day the service was not good enough as expected from a well known chef from India. The food portion are very little usually serves two per dish.

Visited this location today and to say it was a disappointment is an understatement. I was checking out the restaurant as I organize the catering for my companys several luncheons and in office events. I inquired with the waiter regarding the lunch menu, which was limited and small at $19. I asked how many people the regular serving of the KING CURRY (butter chicken) can serve, I was told 2. I ordered this and 2 butter naans with the anticipation of taking the remaining food home. My curry came luke warm... no one check in, until I was over it and ready to leave. The serving that should serve two, had only 4 pieces (tonnie sized) of chicken, and small chumbles throughout nothing that would be equitant to a serving for two people. I was asked when I asked for the bill how was the food, I said not good. No response then, which is fine as I did eat whatever little meat there was. When I was given the bill, I was given the Interac machine, which had a number on the screen no prompts to accept or tip. I assumed that meant the server didnt expect one as I just said the meal was not good. I tapped, while simultaneously opening the bill folder in front of me. I noticed the numbers are the same. I asked the server is it an auto tip. He said no, I said why are the numbers different? He said, I guess I might have touched it. We all know it goes , TOTAL then ACCEPT, then TIP, and various $ or % that you can choose and then TOTAL to tap. So how many prompts did you guess you touched. I said I would have liked to make my own selection. He was uncomfortable as I called him out and went to speak to someone as I was getting up he said he can give it back. Are you kidding me? That behavior was not an accident and deeply disturbing. Can you imagine if I brought clients here - goodness no. I am still upset and would like to this to be addressed by some form of management.

Dont be fooled by all the good reviews. Tried the tasting menu, a few small portion size bowls not much bigger than a sponge, very salted, overcharged. Even the naan are oily and taste bad. Ive been told the chef is famous in Indian and thats why I went with my family. Man, we thought we liked Indian food based on our experiences at other Indian restaurants. After this meal, sorry, no more Indian food. Why so many good reviews here. Weird.

Horrible experience in khazana yesterday . Didn t liked the food at all.. everything was very tasteless Banarasi kabab, ruby panner tikka and queen curry only good was the Dal makhni.. disappointed . Tried before aswell at that time it was good but yesterday it was horrible no taste at all.. this big name restaurant should be consistent in taste atleast.
