Rikki Tikki is a fantastic spot for Indian food! Our server, Rithima, was so sweet, attentive, and professional she truly made the dining experience even better. The food was absolutely incredible. The lamb biryani was flavorful and perfectly cooked, while the tandoori platter was out of this world! The meats were juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection, with a great variety of veggies, paneer, and more. The spiced rice was another highlight so fragrant and delicious. We also loved the garlic naan, which was crispy, buttery, and the perfect companion to the creamy and flavorful butter chicken. Every dish was a winner, and you can really taste the care and skill that goes into the cooking here. I highly recommend Rikki Tikki for anyone craving amazing Indian food. Can t wait to come back!

The food is so flavourful and beautiful. Mint and chilli naan was surprisingly delicious and paired perfectly with everything. I went with my sister and friend and we got three dishes to share. Butter chicken, saag paneer, and Chana masala. All delicious, we scraped the plates clean!! They each had cocktails that they really enjoyed as well.

The samosa chaat was really good. The Indian roadside lemonade and the Lychee magic were also good. Had visited with a friend and we had a nice time there, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Special kudos to Ritima for being super sweet and ensuring we had a good time at the place.

I enjoyed our lunch at Rikki Tikki. The food was very tasty. We tried the butter chicken poutine, chicken 65 and chicken tikka masala. We especially liked the poutine. Ritima was our server and she was very attentive and kind.

Overall great food (we had the paneer tikka fries and manchurian) and great staffing. Place was clean and reasonable. Vegetarian options: Plenty of veg options available.

Ordered delivery. Was missing the drinks from my order and no utensils or napkins were included (I looked to see if I had to request them in the app but there was no option so assumed they would be included). The food I ordered was not listed as spicy and did not give an option to request a spice level. Everything I ordered was much spicier than I would expect for a no spicy indication. To the point I couldn t eat much more than the Naan and pick out a few pieces of lamb. Will not repeat ordering from here.

Rikki Tikki is my go-to for their saag paneer; creamy & has a good flavour. The butter naan paired with the dish also has a nice texture and pull to it. I enjoy their food enough to sit through the entire Taylor Swift discography, which was the only music playing in the restaurant when we dined in this time.

Best Indian restaurant I have been to in Toronto and I have visited many. Our appetizers were incredible I had chicken 65 and chilli chicken which were out of this world and for the main briyani and chicken Tika were delicious. WOW! The food and experience here were fantastic. My friend and I visited Toronto for a few days and I made it a mission to find the best Indian that I could in the city. I eat A LOT of Indian food so my bar is exceedingly high. Rikki Tikki surpassed it. A few recs: the samosa chaat is AMAZING. If you re trying to decide between that and the regular samosas, get the chaat. I promise you won t regret it. I almost always get paneer tikka masala as a main dish (I m vegetarian) and here was no exception. BUT this was the most unique (and possibly most delicious) version I ve ever had. For the American readers, important note that the curry dishes don t come with rice here which is very confusing. But I got the pea rice on the side and it was delicious easily could have been a standalone meal but paired excellently with the paneer tikka masala. My friend got the biryani and loved it. We shared garlic naan and loved it. Highly recommend chutney on the side because it s chutney. Everything was super fresh-tasting and very clearly made to order. Finally, the service was impeccable as was the plating/presentation. It seems like a fairly unassuming place from the outside but don t let that fool you. If you re thinking about trying this place out and/or are looking for some of the best Indian in Toronto, run don t walk! to Rikki Tikki. You won t be disappointed! Can t wait to go back when I m next in the city.

Grabbed a bite to eat here on Monday and wow.. I was impressed. The food was really fresh and presented amazingly well. Ive never had Indian food like Ive had it here at Rikki Tikki, props to the chef for their outstanding culinary experience and vision on each plate. Good service and ambience. I tried the chicken korma with garlic naan. It was good but a bit bland: the flavor could be a bit stronger. They added a blueberry on top of the korma, which is strange and unappealing.

This establishment is the best on Augusta avenue and the only one run by honest people instead of fraudsters like those who run the taco joint down the road. Recommend trying the TIKKA MASALA and BIRYANIS as these are their highest quality products in my estimation, naan is excellent as well

Overpriced

Nice spot for delicious Indian cuisine in the heart of Kensington Market. The food was served hot and fresh, it was presented well and tasted great. Our server Prabh was very courteous, graceful and along with the manager, provided good customer service, making sure we enjoyed our meal and time at Rikki Tikki.

Parb was very helpful and patient with my wife and me. My wife enjoyed the shrimp biryani although she found it a little spicier than she expected. I googled up my lamb Rogan Josh. We tried garlic roti for the first time. It is an excellent alternative to classic naan. Cheetah beer is a superior substitute the Taj Mahal beer. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The food here is so good and the service is on point. Great decorations and presentations. A bit small but makes it cozy and you have the patio option. I love the butter chicken with good rice as my main plate all the time! Definitely coming again and all the times I can! Heads up for dining in minimum its 25 per person but its 100% worthy

We recently dined at this restaurant and enjoyed a delightful meal. For appetizers, we had the Gobi Manchurian, which had a great presentation. However, some of the cauliflower florets were overly deep-fried, making them a bit hard to chew. For our mains, we tried the Lamb Biryani and Chicken Madras. The Lamb Biryani was our favorite, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Chicken Madras also tasted good, though the chicken pieces were a bit dry and might have been better if cut smaller. The garlic naan was really good definitely one of the best I ve had in Toronto. While it didn t quite compare to the ones I ve had in India, likely due to different cooking methods, it was still excellent. Overall, we liked our experience and will be back to try other items on the menu!

I ordered my usual Chicken Tikka Masala, rice and garlic naan. Food was very decent, fresh and tasty, not too spicy, but theres something missing in the sauce as for me. Naan was nice too. Overall score 4.7 id say but I am a foodie and am very strict, so without hesitation go for it!

I went to this restaurant few days ago first of all food quantity is really very less. Some of the items in menu are so expensive. For instance they charge $18 for chicken pakora they only serve 5 pieces which is not worth according to the price. We also ordered butter chicken it was too sweet they even added strawberries in it chef needs to learn more what s the combination of strawberries with curry. This place is very expensive and less worth to go.

We went for our last dinner at Toronto. Place is very nice, all the servers taking care of you at all times. Food was amazing; my Butter Chicken was to die for; incredibly smooth, perfectly well seasoned and balanced. Main dishes don t come with rice so please be aware of that, I just assumed that they did. Garlic Naan was awesome. Honestly, the whole culinary experience was very good. I highly recommend it to those who love Indian Food!

Went there late night with friends, food was tasty, presentation on point and amazing staff as well! Our server Rashmi was very friendly!! Will be going back definitely I would like to add to my previous review, that try avoiding ordering online as the quality and quantity isn t the same as you get when you dine in. Although its costs significantly more to order online for delivery, the quality was really disappointing for this place. This has happened twice now. Still a great place for dine in though!

Best food with best service by loveleen.

So its a nice fine dine in place for Indian food on a very congested street. Food was really good, and service was also pretty quick seeing how crowded it was. Only thing I didnt like a lot is there table size, the place is small and is little tight to maneuver (I was with a stroller). You cannot keep a lot of things on table unless you join another table. But thats just a little thing and their Tandoori fish, naans and dal makhani were great. Rashmi, who was serving us was really nice and was proactive it listening to us. Overall a nice place to try near downtown.

Food was yumm. Staff was really cooperative specially girl named namanpreet she guided us with the best seller dishes.

Best food in the city. Hats off to the chef for the excellent food. Ambience is also pretty good. Thanks to the team for the amazing hospitality. Don t forget to try their Kulfi. Highly recommended.

Found this amazing gem! We ordered their chicken tikka masala, lamb biryani, and aloo Gobi. All were delicious . They always give out complimentary cumin crackers which is a great snack. The sauce for chicken tikka masala is rich and full of flavours. Their lamb biryani was above average. I loved their garlic naan. The price is reasonable. Overall, this is a great place if youre craving Indian food downtown. Highly recommend!

The service was quick and very pleasant. Folks there really care about their service to the customers. The place has a wall design that gives out a really a fun and welcoming feel. Forgot to click pictures! Coming to the food, they made sure to check on us of how everything tasted. We really enjoyed the Mango Delight mocktail, Dhaba style dal & Tikka fries. A little more salt could have made it even more amazing. Overall, a great dine in experience.

We were a party of four. We ordered naan, main dishes, drinks and dessert. The food was extremely tasty! Always remember to check the spiciness level of the dish. The staff and the service are pleasant, friendly and good, and the environment is nice and quiet. I recommend visiting this place.

It was a great Resturent with delicious food that I ever tasted in Toronto. I strongly suggest to go and have some real Indian food and the authentic taste from Rikki Tikki. Especially the staters it was so juicy and it made my day.
