Ordered takeout for Panner tikka biryani. Amazing taste and the best veg biryani I have had like other restaurants in other parts of GTA. This one is going to be my new local favorite.

Hands down the best Indian food ever. Fried rice was out of this world, nahn breads were very tasty and the butter chicken was incredible. The chicken the way it was cooked had a lovely taste not just butter sauce but a charcoal sort of vibe. Loved it. Will definitely go there again

I had Gutti Vankay biriyani, and the taste was delicious. We got the punch of Brinjal and masala infusion. Mild ghee rice on top of this makes it match heaven

Food is average, we ordered a paneer cashew biryani, punugulu. Punugulu I felt like batter is very old one. Cashew paneer has only one or two cashews hardly. Service was done by a girl. She literally humiliated us when we first ordered only punugulu. It s our first time here we wanna try the food and go with ordering big. Later we ordered cashew paneer biryani expecting it s to be good but we were disappointed. We came to restaurant around 8:45-9:40pm November 3rd. The server girl doesn t know how to talk with customers. Please train her properly.

I got food catered from Saarvi for my Diwali party and everyone loved it! The paneer, biryani and chicken were all great and the service too. When I called to arrange things and they were so helpful and managed to offer suggestions based on my needs highly recommend trying them out!

Very Very Disappointing Experience I ve never been this frustrated and disappointed with food from a restaurant. If I could give zero stars, I would, but unfortunately, I have to settle for one. I visited this establishment and specifically asked about the portion sizes of their single and party pack Biryani. The staff behind the counter persuaded me to go for the party pack, claiming it was suitable for three people and included 5 to 6 pieces of chicken. Based on their recommendation, I paid over $40, expecting a decent meal. However, when I got home, I was shocked to find that the party pack contained just two small chicken leg pieces and two tiny bone fragments from the back and chest barely any meat at all. These are parts you d normally discard, not serve in a premium dish. I felt cheated, especially after making a point to confirm the quantity of chicken before ordering. This is outright theft. Regardless of the taste (which was mediocre Biryani), I ended up boiling eggs to supplement the meal because the Biryani was almost devoid of meat. Common sense would suggest that a piece of chicken in a dish should be a thigh, breast, or even a full leg, not scraps and bones. I will never trust an Indian restaurant in downtown Toronto again. I d rather drive to Scarborough or Mississauga than waste my money here.

Nice ambiance and food taste as back home

We dined in at Sarvi last Evening and the food was absolutely delicious! The portion size was generous and the chicken appetizer was amazing! Our server was super kind and helpful and She guided us through the Menu as well. The Rasmalai shake was like cherry on the top and was served with a smile to us :)) definitely going to be back here. Excellent Service and Yum food!

I love the pungulu, chai and the chefs prawn biryani. I have tried in different places but their prawn biryani is amazing because the shrimps are well done and cooked.

Compared to price not convinced with their taste. Price is a bit expensive compared to the same goods for sure.

Overall decent food. 7/10 Gongura Royyalu: 7/10 (a bit salty) Gobi Manchurian: 8/10 Hyderabadi Biryani: 7/10 (had better ones) Being a South Indian place, interestingly they don t serve onions with anything. Service is subpar. Overall an average place compared to Indian food benchmark in the area. Edit response to owner: I was declined the first two times to be served.

Special Chicken pulao and BLS chicken biryani are delicious. Rice and chicken were well cooked with great flavours. For the price it s worth it!! However the Chicken tikka biryani was okay.

This place looked promising with the taste and the quality but it all fell apart like house of cards, the people or who so ever manages things over there is no longer interested in customer service. We went many times and ordered lot of items in the menu. 1. We got meat bones in bread pakora. 2. With dosa they have provided a watery sambar. 3. The quality of soaps have degraded a lot especially the manchow chicken soup, less to no chicken in the soup. 4. Waiting time for a simple masala dosa is 30 minutes. 5. Portion size is very small not like any other restaurants that offers. Replying to the patron who has replied to my review Thanks a lot for replying. 1. Honest human mistake agreed but when they have already told that they are vegetarians at prior then its criminal that a veg food has a non veg meat piece. This shows how much fresh things u guys are making with that much of time. 2. Forgot to mention chilli paneer we returned as the paneer were stale and blackish in colour and we came to know that vendor who provides paneer has problem. Hope you will remember everytime u offered refund and we have not taken it in the hope that services will improve. But everytime we dine we face utter disappointment. And i am spreading negativity. I and my friend visited today here. Boy named shahid handling the front and the manager was very polite and greeting with a great smile and energetic at although it was closing time. We ordered garlic naan , butter naan and special paneer palleturu sabji it was delicious. Naan was very soft and yummy.

$40 order and no rice to go with dishes that need it.. I live across the street and just made my own (rice, that is).. but wont be going back. Theres a lot more really good places in the vicinity.

On 7th September I ordered food for dinner from Sarvi s through Uber eats which included veg noodles, gobi manchurian, a paneer main course and 2 garlic naans, and I must say it was all stale, the paneer in main course was literally like rubber it felt like I was chewing rubber, the gobi manchurian only had flour in it and no Cauliflower(gobi) or veggies, garlic naan was super hard and not even a bit soft, it felt the dough was stale, only veg noodles seemed fresh, and now because of eating food from Sarvi s I have a bad stomach ache. Pathetic quality of food.

My friends and I came across Sarvi Indian Cuisine one night after a concert nearby. We arrived just before 10:30 pm and ordered a few dishes for take out. Unfortunately, we waited until nearly 11:15 pm for our food to be ready. No one else was left in the restaurant because it closes at 11:00 pm. The server forgot half the order which he promptly provided after reminding us. Wished us a goodnight and asked us for a Google review. Much to our dismay, the food was overly salted and some of it was cold. Rasmalai tasted a bit like a lightly soaped up sponge. Bathroom was out of order and table was not completely wiped clean. Review from friend who was present to summarize, The food took nearly 45 minutes to be made, yet came out cold and completely oversalted (specifically the veggie pakoda). I would strongly recommend finding another Indian restaurant to eat at.

I had a paneer dosa and a masala dosa, Masala dosa was pretty good, but the paneer dosa was literally just plain dosa with some paneer sprinkled on it, that s it, nothing else, must say the worst paneer dosa that I ever had.

Authentic South Indian Briyani. Must try this once.

What a hidden gem!! Just picked up an egg fried rice from Sarvi. Without a doubt I d say that the taste of the fried rice took us back to the streets of Hyderabad! Everything made fresh! Decent portion size for the cost. I m not a person who d take time to write a review of a restaurant but I had to now. Definitely coming back to try their punugulu and other menu options.

Visited for the first time. Loved the ambience, service and food. Telugites will definitely love it. Daya - of the chefs served us the best karivepaku chicken and gongura chicken pulao we had in a while. I wish I was here 3 months ago when it started. But, I am happy that finally Downtown has an authentic telugu restaurant. However, for people visiting here for the first time might get the orders a bit slower than other restaurants as they seem to be understaffed, but it would be a great experience if you can wait.

Delicious biryanis and pulavs, especially the special chicken pulav is one of the best I have ever eaten. I can definitely see the care they take to cook such delicious food with consistency and quality. The quantity is good. The goat meat in the biryani is very tender as well. This is easily the top spot for biryani in downtown.

Poor place and not worth to spend a dime

I generally order from here and the food was always great. This was our first time dining in and we loved the food. The dosas were delicious. Would definitely recommend the chicken dosa and the ghee Karam dosa. The chicken pulao is also amazing. Friendly staff and yummy food.

Had the Hyderabadi mutton curry with extra spices. The sauce was so well rounded and smooth tasting and the meat was incredibly tender! My friend had the chefs special mutton masala which was the same dish but boneless. We split an order of briyani rice and I also tried a mango lassi. Everything was fantastic and I will definitely visit again!

I have tried masala dosa. I think they have to check on with the chef who prepares dosa. This dish is highly not recommended. Dosa doesnt taste good. Also, the sambhar was packed in small chutney container and the chutney was even worse than dosa. I hope the owner will look into this issue and serve customers a good taste.

Im on visit in Toronto and searching and trying different restaurants in Toronto as halal and desi cuisine and suddenly we cross from here and enter And try biryani it was amazing and fabulous Thank you .

Ive tried Masala Dosa, Sambar Rice, Punugulu, Special Chicken Pulao, Samosa, Bread Pakoda, Mirchi Bajji, Noodles, Veg Manchow Soup and Chai so far. All of them tasted fresh, authentic and are a great value for money! My only criticism is the negligible quantity of Sambar with Dosa for takeout/delivery which is only 2 spoonful compared to a whole bowl for dine-in.

DONT ORDER FROM HERE! Had ordered chicken Biriyani through Uber eats from here it s was so much spicy that me and family Could not even eat it. Way spicier. I mean like do you even know what Biriyani is or simply you add chillies for fun thinking that s how Biriyani tastes like. Will everyone be able to eat that much chili?. The rice is also very soggy. Tasted bad. Wasted money. Never going to order again and will be sharing this review so that people are aware!

I ordered the biriyani here , by seeing the reviews posted before. After eating this biriyani I feel like the best South Indian style biriyani I tasted in downtown. The spice level match s the Hyderabadi biriyani taste.

We tried the biryani, schezwan rice and dosa on two different occasions. The food is extremely tasty, very fresh! Finally glad we found a restaurant that is a two minute walk from our place that we love.

On the go, we jumped into a tasty Indian restaurant Sarvi, tried out Masala Dosa and Veg Manchurian which was delicious and better than other popular Indian eateries. Price was decent and so was the service. We would definitely come back to try out their other menu options (especially their Dum Biriyani).

The hospitality and the authenticity of the food is on point. We had ordered paneer starter and Masala Dosa both were too good and the sambar had carrots as well just like how we make at home. Absolutely delicious, definitely a must visit !!!

Visited the restaurant for the first time with friends. We ordered Dosa, Paneer Biryani and lassi. Food tasted great, staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend to visit the restaurant. Vegetarian options: They have many vegetarian food options.

Amazing food and service! We had the Andhra Chicken and Mutton Biriyani. Ordered the Chicken 65 as well and asked for seconds! Amazing people. Should definitely visit if you re around the area and craving authentic Biriyani.
