The King’s Kurry (Fine Indian Cuisine) in Toronto

We are regular at kings curry and quality of food +service is consistently excellent.

I have been deprived of Indian food for too long, so while visiting friends in Toronto I asked that we go out for dinner and landed on The King s Kurry. Both the food and the service was outstanding. I very much look forward to dining there again the next time I come to the city.

Very bad experience! Had paneer tikka without salt. And the chilly chicken was worst..! Not recommended

This is my favorite restaurant for Indian Hakka Chinese and Indian cuisine overall. After a disappointing experience at an Indian restaurant during our recent visit to Sault Ste. Marie, we were eager for authentic Indian Hakka Chinese. Kings Kurry is by far the best Hakka Chinese place weve tried in Canada. The flavours and spice levels are just perfect. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. Rajan, our server, was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always checking in to ensure our food and drinks were to our liking. I ll definitely be returning to Kings Kurry whenever I crave Indian food.

Wow as some of the previous comments have mentioned, this is truly the best Indian food I ve had. The quality is definitely there, the portion is great and the staff including the manager is friendly! Will definitely make it my regular go to Indian restaurant!

Kings Kurry is truly a hidden gem in Etobicoke. We visited last Sunday evening with a group of friends craving for Hakka Chinese, and it did not disappoint. We ordered Chicken Momos, Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Manchurian Noodles, Chicken Hakka Fried Rice, Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice, Chilli Chicken, and Manchurian Chicken gravy. Every dish was delicious, but the Noodles and Momos were my personal favorites. We requested a medium spice level, and it was perfectly balanced. Our server, Rajan, was incredibly warm and attentive, regularly checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I cant wait to return and explore their Indian menu!

What a nice find! Great food and great service. Great selection and everything was delicious. The mixed grill platter was a great way to start the meal. The butter chicken, lamb saag and aloo gobi were all tasty with the butter chicken being a revelation. Loved the accommodation for peanut allergies as well. Definitely will be coming back!

Stopped in for a butter chicken and had a lovely meal. Kind and accommodating staff, quick and friendly service and a wonderful meal. My only regret is I came by myself and couldnt order more off the menu!

When it first opened I went for the Hakka which was flavourful but not the style I was looking for/used to. However, have ordered the last couple of times the non-Hakka Indian food and it is amazing. Best Chicken Saag Ive ever had. Baingan Patiala was excellent as well. Think I need to dine in store to even enjoy it more. Highly recommended.

Ordered delivery from the Kings Kurry tonight for the first time and was amazed by the food. We ordered a selection of dishes including vegetable pakora, butter chicken, saag paneer, and lamb vindaloo. All which Id highly recommend. The vibrant colours, fresh flavors, and perfect temperature of each dish was *chefs kiss. This will be our new go-to for ordering out.

We went today and ordered the onion Bhaji, prawn coconut curry, vegetable korma, beef roganjosh, naan, rice, pickles, chutney and cocktails (yes, we were hungry). Every single thing was absolutely delicious and so flavourful. The service was also impeccable. So attentive, friendly and courteous. There were so many thoughtful touches to the design of the place too. Even the cocktail glasses were beautiful and unique. We will be back!! Loved it!

Tried King Kurry for the first time last night and it was amazing. I really like that they use chicken breast rather than thighs for their butter chicken, their mixed vegetable pakora was also very good. I got the dinner for two and it was more than enough!

I was introduced to this place about 4 weeks ago and I ve been there about 10 times or more since. The food and the service is absolutely incredible it s by far the best Indian food I ve ever had fresh, flavourful and incredible presentation. I can t recommend this place more, enjoy!

First time visit and will be back. Food was excellent, and service was attentive. Portions were also a nice size and you certainly won t leave hungry. A good addition to the neighborhood. EDIT: just took advantage it the take out meal for 2 option and, once again, I was not disappointed. Portions were generous (and we can eat) and the food quality was equal to the dine in option from my last visit. Delivery was on time and the driver very polite. This is now my go-to for Indian food. The best Indian restaurant I ve had in Toronto. The friendliest and respectful staff make you feel cared for. Highly highly recommend. Ate the tandoori chicken then had to go back multiple times to try the rest of the menu. Anaphylactic Peanut and egg allergies accommodated without issue and with kindness. Love this place! Congrats to the owner for a huge success. Fast forward a few more months and the food is still exceptional. Hakka chilli chicken is amazing. Staff is great. My familys new go to place! highly recommend.

Total waste of money. Tried manchurian hakka noodle , it was utter garbage, there was plenty of unwanted oil in noodles and very bad flavour. Shame on them for calling themselves fine dinning.

Was in the area and did not expect to have such great food for lunch!! Very authentic and you get a really great portion with the lunch set. The pakoras are insanely tasty, the mango lassy was super flavorful, the butter chicken and chicken curry was so yummy so was the dal. The price is very reasonable as well.

Finally fresh top quality Indian food in the desirable Kingsway area. Having to put up with an overpriced inauthentic Indian on bloor for over a decade but now we have real quality and real value. The chef is one of the owners and you can tell he has skin in the game. Fresh garlic, ginger and spices ooze through the sauce dishes while they have invested in a real tandoor oven for flavourful and moist chicken plus amazing garlic naans. Being a Brit ex pat i have had maybe two thousand curries in my life. This place is in the top five percent. I think they have the lease until the end of 2025 so please try it and make sure such an authentic restaurant committed to high quality sizeable portions with heavenly flavours Indian food prospers in this great neighborhood. You have to try the chicken madras (spicy), onion bhajis (just wow), eggplant side dish and the tandoor chicken with ginger, garlic and chilli (can t remember the name but rashimi or something Iike that!)

Enjoyed dinner here yesterday. Ordered Dal makhani, and Im happy to say that its probably the best Dal you can find in the city. The cheese naan literally has cheese between the layers. And the whole thing isnt even expensive, very fairly priced. The interior looks nice. Done in white and red colors. Everything is clean, and the servers are nice. Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegetarian options as any other Indian places.

Thought Id give this new place on the Kingsway a try, and wow! What a gem! It begins with weloming friendly service, and ends with a full tummy and your taste buds having a party . Seriously, food is outstanding. All of our dishes were perfectly balanced, arrived quickly, and served on heated plates. Had saag paneer, prawn coconut curry and lamb roganjosh with nan and rice (go for the saffron basmati pulau, its beautiful). Will be definitely be back!

Ive always been a little intimidate by Indian food. But the ordering is so easy with the meal for 2. You get to taste a few dishes and so far they have been delicious! The pakora and the malai kofta are so so so yummy. Highly recommend!!

The chicken Byriani was fluffy, fresh and fragrant. The place itself has a wonderful ambiance and staff are friendly and attentive.

I called the restaurant to place a takeout order. The staff was friendly, helping guide me through the menu on what was vegan, or could be accommodated to be vegan. Always refreshing to find a place that can accommodate dietary restrictions. The food was great, and I ll definitely be coming back again! My only recommendation would be to put labels on the menu to indicate when there is a dietary consideration (e.g, Vegetarian, Vegan, Vegan Optional, Gluten Free). This would make it a lot easier to scan the menu at a glance

We miss the old Sempre, but this was a great replacement. The food was really good and the one order of naan and rice was great to share for two people.

We ordered from King s Kurry and it was truly outstanding. We love Indian food and have tried different restaurants throughout the city, and this is some of the best Indian food we have ever had. The saag paneer was unreal with the softest and most delicious paneer ever. The eggplant was also a family favourite, with the eggplant being cooked to perfection. The flavours were beautifully balanced and the ingredients were high quality. The service was also kind and attentive, offering to help carry the bags to the car in the rain. It has the recommendation from my whole family, which is hard to receive. We will definitely be coming back for more food in the future!!

We just had out third dine in meal here. I cant say enough how great the food is. Samosas light and crispy, assortment of Veg, Seafood, and Chicken dishes all perfectly spiced medium. I came here with my family of six for a weekend lunch and we were so impressed with the quality of both food and service! The food was some of the best Indian food weve ever had, it was so flavourful and fresh and the menu offers so many great options. Our server was very friendly and attentive and answered any questions we had. We ordered the tandoori vegetable platter, chicken pasanda, lamb roganjosh, chana masala, beef biryani and naan. We also received complimentary papadam with two different chutneys. Im so glad this place opened in the area and would highly recommend it to anyone. Well be back for sure!

From the moment we tasted the appetizer, veg garlic balls, we knew that we were in the right place . I mean it was vegetarian and it tasted like those takoyaki. Their mango lassi is to die for. We ordered vegetarian platter and kings curry platter from their lunch menu. The spice level was perfect and the price for the portion is very reasonable. For me good eating out experience is not only food but the ambience, easy and cheap parking and of course the pleasant and friendly server. This place is 10/10. I placed a large takeout (for 6 people) order last month from restaurant. The food was very fresh, good portion, not too spicy, and overall very satisfied with my order. They have good vegetarian options as well.They also added gulab jamun as complimentary in the order which was very generous of them. The food was delivery was this very kind man and he was friendly. Phenomenal. We ordered takeout from here and it will definitely be our west-end go to. We got the butter chicken, saag paneer, chefs special Lamb, biryani, butter naan, rosemary naan and somosas. Everything was well done and adjusted to our spice level request (important to us because we have toddlers). Rosemary naan is a must try. Somosa is different, but so delicious. Cant wait to try more dishes! Vegetarian options: Wide selection of delicious vegetarian options.

We ordered chilli chicken, chana masala and the eggplant dish. The quality and portion of the food was really good and well definitely order again. The chilli chicken wasnt too spicy but the flavor was bang on. I enjoy spice quite a bit but since it wasnt too spicy, my family enjoyed it as well. Owners were very friendly. My husband and I picked up our first order from King s Kurry today and it was great! We normally order Indian takeout from some Junction area restaurants but wanted to try somewhere new. I heard great things about King s Kurry and they didn t disappoint. The butter chicken was tender and the chana masala was mild as we requested, but had a nice subtle spicy kick. The rice was delicious and the garlic naan was perfect. We ll definitely order take out here again!

This place is great and a fantastic addition to the Kingsway neighborhood. The service and atmosphere are great, really cute space and very friendly staff. The food was good - we ordered the butter chicken, shrimp coconut curry, saag paneer and lamb vindaloo. And the chicken pops to start, which are awesome! Would love the naan to be fluffier but overall a very nice meal. Will be back and will be recommending.

We visited this new restaurant and found this place amazing from the food and staff is deserving of 5 stars and would recommend to anyone seeking fine dining. I would strongly suggest the mixed platter consisting of prawn, lamb and chicken.

Decided to try this restaurant. I was greeted promptly and shown to a table, my water glass was always full and food and drinks were bang on. I had two different Mango drinks, Butter Chicken and the Lollipop Chicken, everything was so flavourful. It was a wonderful Saturday meal. Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options.
