Twisted Indian Wraps in Toronto

I really want to like this place, but they re too inconsistent. If you happen to catch them when the dish is properly made and fresh, its excellent. But unfortunately it happens way too often where it falls short. Maybe if you simplified your menu - it feels like you re trying to do way too many things at once. Also the recipe for the paneer changed. Used to be great but recently it s these dried up dark cubes that look like meat. I mentioned it to the person working and they said it s always been that same recipe.

Very unprofessional staff, food was cold the chicken in the taco was cold. Really a waste of money. Would never recommend anyone to come here.

I order the vegetarian wrap every time I go there. Its always a good wrap - no complaints. The staff has always been professional and polite.

Annu was such a sweetheart and the food was also delicious. I just happen to be doing a placement nearby and was looking for something close-by to grab for lunch but I m so happy I came here. Will definitely be going back!

Food was great! A good Indian Chaat place. Afia was very kind to open the space after they had already shut (we were a bit late) and helped us with a smile.

A very over-priced restaurant (60 St Clair Ave E). I have visited on several occasions, and usually regret going for one main reason: the proportions are small, and the prices absurdly high for the food you get. Today I bought one of the bowls, and was surprised by how little I was given and how poor the quality of the food was, given I was paying around $18 for the meal before tax. It was just 1 protein and 2 poor vegetable sides. When I asked for just a little more of the protein serving, the lady brushed it off as if I was asking for too much.

I ordered the buy one get one free naan wrap on Uber, then was charged for two wraps, I cancelled the order and replaced the same buy one get one free item, when I received it, it was just one very small sandwich (not two, as advertised) and was charged over $60 for it + a cancellation fee for the same exact thing i had ordered anyway!! $60? For this ??

Overrated

The new lady at the counter refused to serve me because i asked for no rice or greens in my wrap. When i asked if i can order something else. Her response was SHE doesn t like to waste food. Looks like she wants to decide what every customer walks through the door will eat. I wonder if the owner knows how much business she turns away Will never go there again

They charged me for two full plates of samosa, chaat, and aloo tikki, but they delivered only half of the boxes. Moreover, the food was unpleasantly stinking. When I called to discuss this issue, they argued about my integrity. In response, I offered to provide photographs of the delivered food. However, they abruptly disconnected the call and never picked up again. This experience has left me with no choice but to consider it my first and last order from this store

We had ordered from here a few months ago and it was pretty okay. Tonight s order was barely edible at best. Got a rice bowl and the BOGO Naanwich (Uber eats). Rice bowl was cold and stale and so dry, the chicken was some shredded chicken in a tiny corner of the bowl. Couldn t eat it. Reported it to Uber. The Naanwich was meh too but not as bad as the rice bowl; it came with masala fries - maybe 8-10 max. This was semi-hot. Won t be ordering again.

Very small portion, poor quality food and rude staff members that take customers for granted.

Don t know why this place has a 4 star review. Ordered chicken tikka tacos with everything on it, and all I got was flavourless dried out chicken covered in mayo. Disgusting. Threw them out.

The food is so good. Perfect for the winter. The food is hot and not stale. Well prepared and delicious. What can you ask more? Nothing. They have the best service also.

The food and service here is terrible. I wanted to love it so bad!!! I was hoping for a new neighborhood place I could frequent but the food is just so bad. Either dry or soggy every time. And if you give feedback politely they do not take it well. I would suggest avoiding this place at all costs! Try the Mexican place nearby instead! Wonderful food and service!!!

The place was nice. We had indian wrap. The taste was some whats similar to Chipotle as it had all the similar toppings.

Super tasty twist on classic Indian fare favourites! Loved the butter chicken burroti, and also their version of a poutine! So fresh and delicious and the service is always great.

Fantastic food. Ordered for the whole office. Showed on time, well labeled, and packaged.

(60 St. Clair location) Some of the staff is absolutely horrible and take some customers for granted. They staff will not even give you one extra sauce if asked for, staff is just oblivious to regular customers. They have no decency to even provide a service to somebody standing there for 25 mins. My food took 35 mins to prepare because the lady working there decided to serve the people who came after me and I just sat there.

The food tastes like it was cooked by an extremely cheap white man who has never been to India. The lowest quality, oldest ingredients possible. If you like brown lettuce, crumbly old chicken and bland food, youll love this place. I took one bite of my butter chicken wrap and threw it out. It was a waste of $12 but better than swallowing it.

The staffer that prepared our food was lovely. The space was super hot with no air flow The food was bland and not fresh. I got sick a couple of hours after eating here. Very disappointing. I really wanted to like this place.

Ordered a tikka bowl although I saw the chicken in there looked very watery and dry like it was boiled with a baby pink color. I however gave it a try and OMG ridiculous is the word that would define the taste. Also, the items were not stocked up when I went in the evening. Service was fast no doubt. Place not clean either. The second item I ordered was the patty burger again tasteless. Believe me, if you guys dont look at the taste and portion size of your food it wont work. Wouldnt recommend it for now and wouldnt go there again for food.

Guys you need to work on the portion sizes.. In no world Indian food come in such small portions !!!

Ordered aloo tikki burgers via Uber Eats. I totally agree to the reviews that say- it feels like it has been cooked by someone who has never been to India. No sauces and it felt someone kept aloo pakora in between two buns and sent it. Same story for the samosa burger. Will never order from here again

Horrible food. Ordered the samosa burgers, put two small frozen samosa with no sauce and some onion pieces. Dont know how this place has a rating so high. Spoiled my mood and money

The food here is delicious with just the right flavours. The service by their staff is always warm and very friendly. I am a regular here and they remember exactly what I like and are able to quickly prepare it for me. Must visit :)

Lots of nice flavours

For the name of the shop to be Twisted Indian Wraps - its quite shocking to see that they have only 2 potential options for wraps in the menu. They used the stale and dry Roti and Naan bread commonly available in the grocery stores and not the traditional Indian Roti or Naan as served in the Indian street food stands. The roti wrap that I bought was soggy, bursting and not sufficiently cooked as the server mentioned if I leave it any more under the grill it will burst. Tasteless!. I entered the restaurant imagining the street wraps like Kathi Roll or Kebab Roll this restaurant is an abomination to the Indian Street Food. The samosas were wafer thin and the server charged me a dollar extra for putting red sauce! I wanted to give zero - but 1 is the least I can give, never returning to this one. Try learning from Indian restaurants like Milan Chaat in Mississauga what Indian cuisine is and how its served.

They refused to let me use the washroom and i was delivering ubereats in a very bad weather! Not a good human been very embarrassing /:

Such a great fusion! Was driving by Barrie and as we got to Park Place, Twisted Indian Wraps caught our attention. We were not disappointed. The Tacos are delicious, the Mango Lassi was just right and the flavours hit the spot. Very well done, definitely coming back!

Was passing by and saw this place and decided to try it out. (They also give samples) just in case you wanna try before you buy. Loved the food and quantity. Had The meal, tacos, mango lassi and the best highlight was aloo tikki and samosa chat. The right amount of chutneys and spice level too. Highly recommend:)

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! We were passing by the area and decided to give this place a try. It was the best decision ever! From the moment we entered, we were treated to exceptionally great customer service from the two wonderful staff, the food options were fantastic, and we were so happy with all the different things we ordered. I got a butter chicken bowl. It was delicious. They gave a side of naan, which was actually one of the best naan I have had. The topping vegetables were great and sauce real nice. Will be a regular for sure.

Went here for a workday take out lunch. Had the burroti, essentially a burrito using a roti. Great value for money. They have lots of options for protein and other sides that go into the burrito. I got one with red beans (Rajma) and brown rice. The staff was very friendly, despite it being busy they prepared the food with care.

Good samosa chaat but the taco was not very good. Yet to try other items on the menu but I would recommend packing food in plastic sealed containers as opposed to a box for a bunch of reasons.

I ordered the rice bowl with butter chicken and tikka chicken. Firstly the price for quantity is really very very very bad. The server even didn t put two scoops of rice. It looked like some one ate half of the stuff from the rice bowl when i opened it. Even when i opened on side tikka chicken, again the container was already small and half empty. The rice were heavily garnished to hide their age. The butter chicken was old. The gravy tasted weirdly tangy and it felt like chicken was just added to the gravy. The tikka chicken was okay as compared to other stuff, but not good.

It s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Our Family enjoyed every single bite of the meal. We recommend to everyone! We would like to come back here again and again.

I have visited this restaurant with my family. We absolutely loved it. The veggies in their items were absolutely fresh, and their sauces were very delicious. My mom had tasted the aloo tikki burger, she enjoyed it very much. My favorite dish was their customized poutine, I would surely visit it more often. The ambiance of the restaurant was very much welcoming, neat and clean. They are taking effective care regarding COVID-19 and ensuring to follow the precautionary actions needed. I have been to many restaurants in Toronto, however by far this is my favorite restaurants as it consist of all sorts of authentic varieties. I would absolutely suggest this restaurant to all and especially to my friends and family.

We were pleasantly surprised to find really tasty wraps at this place. We had one vegetarian and one non vegetarian, and my daughter loved them. Its rare that she asks for a second helping and Id wished Id bought more of those. My cravings for chaat were instantly satisfied by their awesome samosa chat. The quantity was good enough for me to be able to share it with husband and still not crave for more. The pricing, just perfect. The meal bowls were really filling too. The woman packing our order was super sweet to add in a portion of Mango ice cream for my daughter. And yes, we wrapped the meal with super tasty gulab Jamuns. A must try for everyone who craves Indian food in this part of town.

Great food

The beef wraps and beef burger we had were really authentic Indian kind with the aroma of twisted Indian spices, so dont miss out! The service and the people were very welcoming and helped us make the best choice for us hungry selfs. Away from the city bustle and very close to the trails!!. Patio outside with a soft refreshing breeze always and they have the perfect options for proteins wraps, salads and superfood bowls. Price is right. Nice hangout spot with your peeps after a long biking trail.

We friends had been to this place to try something different versions of wraps (Indian style) We had beef curry & chicken tikka wraps both meats were very well good - its was good better than fatty burgers i would have liked if spice level would have increased but prefect serve taste for white people here & who do like hot spicy foods + we had samosa chat asked for extra spice & that was awesome. Good thing i liked is we can select the toppings for wraps, salads, chats etc. You have two tables outside(patio)-4 each can sit. Customer service was extraordinarily two person in the store were very welcoming.

Im pretty sure I was served yesterdays chicken. When you order butter chicken and they have to moisten it infront of you with cream.....thats a problem. Overall...I question the freshness of what is being served.

Says they close at 10 but don t go hungry at 9:30 because they might not be open. Either you re open your posted hours or you re not.

Great little place to grab a quick bite or take-out. Ingredients are fresh, meals are varied and tasty, and they offer excellent portions and general value. The location is a bit unfortunate, particularly given Covid (their model is clearly catering to offices), but its absolutely worth going a little out of your way, just two short blocks east of Yonge and St. Clair.

This place is rip off . Its so god dam expensive. Like one taco is $4.00 ..smh I wanted to try the chicken sandwich but its $8.00 with no drinks or fries its insane prices. I hope someone can justify why prices super expensive???

Ive eaten here a few times and it was adequate but nothing special for the price until now. I had the keto bowl and the beef wrap in the past, which were both good but not great. I tried the double stack Indian burger tonight and it was absolutely delicious, the portion in combo with the flavour was exceptional.

We found hair in the samosa! Did read other reviews now where people found hair, wish we read them before & where unaware of their hygiene standards. The prices are sky high for the quality they serve. Samosa s very very small for a price we paid & was not even worth! The aloo tikki burger was pathetic, had all sweet chutney & no taste. Avoid this place, save your money & health!

Was pretty good, the burroti I got was a plentiful size, the options for toppings was great, my wife got the three tacos and they were all pretty good as well. The gulab jamun was warm just enough which was nice. The girl working there was very nice and made sure it was made to order perfectly. Very clean environment and well kept. The only downside was the tandoori chicken was very bland and generic, quite boring actually. Next to no taste and rather disappointing. It was also all white meat and the tandoori flavour was watered down a lot. The keema beef and butter chicken was nicely done in the tacos. Will go back again but make different selections next time.

This is a new fast-casual place for Indian bowls, wraps, and dinners, with other things like tacos and samosa chat. I tried a bowl with brown rice and spinach (creamed as in palak paneer) - you can top it with additional vegetables, fresh cilantro and jalapeno, chutney, etc. My husband tried a butter chicken wrap and the samosa chat. Everything tasted very freshly prepared and flavourful, and the staff are really friendly. Weve happy to have a new option in the neighbourhood if were craving a casual Indian dinner!

Great food for a great price. Food is made by hand daily in the store which is awesome. Very helpful customer service and the prices are good. Definitely recommend a first visit if youve never been here.

I have tried most of the items in the menu and trust me, you will definitely fall in love with the lingering taste of each item which is unique. At Twisted Indian at 60 St Clair Avenue East, conveniently located just short distance from Yonge St., Ive now had both, Butter Chicken Wrap AND the Sausage Wrap. Both were Yummy, w toppings chosen by me & the staff were very pleasant & professional. Ill be back for more deliciousness :)

Absolutely amazing folks, Ordered a non vegetarian poutine online by mistake and theyre kind enough to change it live before the skip the dish pick-up arrived ! The poutines are precious esp with such flavor options for vegetarians rajma, sag, alu ! Get a bang for your buck and a smile on your face here :) happy tummy times !

Its tasty definitely, menu on the go I can say modern indian food naan burritos. I ordered vegetarian meal I recommended them to add 2naans to this meal instead of 1. Its not economical but good for one. Portions is sizeable.
