Established 2000 Utsav is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning festival. An integral part of Indian culture, Indian festivals are innumerable and equally varied in origin from the Himalayan foothills to the Peninsula’s tip and food plays a very prominent part of the festive events.
We have ordered meat and Nan with rice and it was good and chili 🌶️😅 but we like chili food but honestly I expected more and get less
Our 11 year old son chose this as he loves a curry. We really enjoyed our meal, the service was very attentive and friendly. We got there early as we didn’t have a reservation and they managed to give us a table for 4. It was busy and full when we left just after 8. Food was lovely and portion sizes were good. Would recommend!
Utsav Indian restaurant is a great place to hangout with family and friends. The ambiance is so good, the staff is so friendly. We ordered chicken briyani and peas pulav, they are so fresh and kids loved it. My favourite is their naan varieties especially the panned kulcha was so good and it goes good with their panner gravey.
The samosas were good. Came for a quick snack. Nice ambience.
One of the best Indian food spots in Toronto! We tried the meal for 2 called Thali, $39 per person. You get to choose 3 curries and it comes with appetizer, rice, basket of naan bread. The food was delicious! I’m a fan of the butter chicken and aloo gobi. We didn’t even get to finish the meals, it was way more quantity than we expected. Would def come back and recommend this spot!
Is reasonably priced amd the food was really good . Was busy but the food came out tasting great. I would recommend
I’ve dine at Utsav 3 times now, it’s my go restaurant when I’m in the Yorkville Village! Appetizers:Vegetable Samosas Entree: Lamb Rogan Josh (Spicy) I can’t take the spicy like I used to, I ordered mild and it was still too spicy, the server was nice to bring out a side of yogurt to help cool down my mouth. All in all the dinner was delicious 😋 tasty and I went back a couple of weeks later just to have an assortment of appetizers and a glass of sparkling wine.
This place is a very good. I’ve been to a few Indian restaurants and sometimes there can be a very strong smell of the food but this restaurant has a very pleasant smell. The ambiance is very good and the staff are very professional. They don’t rush you and they are very pleasant to you. As for the food, the portions are perfect and the taste is absolutely incredible. The butter chicken is a little spicier than normal but then again, we did not request any different next time we would not change it as it was delicious. The garlic bread had a little too many garlic cloves towards the centre so I probably would not order the garlic naan again or maybe ask for less garlic but that’s just a personal thing. You won’t be disappointed. This place is very good and not overly priced. For me the atmosphere was what I wanted with my partner on a Friday night. Will definitely be back.
Terrible service. Was not nice to me and my group of friends when we asked about menu at door.
Just had a wonderful dinner at this very under-rated restaurant. Service was exemplary - very friendly, professional and knowledgeable - and the food very good.
Great food and service, nice ambience, loved the tandoori shrimps
The food that we ordered was great and customer service was good too! However their food options were lesser compared to the other Indian restaurants in Toronto.
Very delicious, and the quantity is enough for two people.
The food was fine, but the prices feel a bit high for the quality offered.
Food, atmosphere and service are all excellent. Thanks
Very calming restaurant with amazing staff and great food
Fantastic service, very helpful and friendly staff. Great portions and very tasty food!
I love this place so much that I almost didnt write this review because Id prefer to keep the secret but damn it I had to blab about it. Great food and super-nice people
Great casual cuisine.
Small restaurant but amazing! I was so excited when I saw Goan fish curry on the menu (I never see Indian restaurants in Toronto with it). There is a nice selection of dishes to choose from and the portions are the perfect sizes. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are kind and attentive. Surprised at how good the pricing was considering the location is in yorkville. Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend!
Great food, service. Very tasty, flavorful and different levels of spocy
This is a nice Indian restaurant with flavourful food and a good variety of dishes. The service is quick, and the staff is attentive, making sure you have what you need. Its a good place to go if you want a more refined version of Indian food.
Some of my favourite Indian food in Toronto.
What an absolutely amazing place Went for dinner and had the most amazing Lamb Biriyani. Haven t quite tasted such a yummy Biriyani in a long time. The service was super brilliant! Keep it up guys! Food
I would like to take a moment and recognize this place. Today was a very special occasion as it was my 30th and I decided to have dinner here. It was almost a party of 13 people, I must say the servers to the owners of this place, everyone served with a big smile. They were prompt, service was quick. Food was perfect so fresh! My friends that don t eat spicy food also loved it so much. Honestly I had no issues with billing of such a big party, everything went smoothly. It was all well organized and everything was handled properly. I would recommend anyone that would like to eat Indian food in the area, it s a must try! Thank you for coming through with all my requests!
Simply the best!
This is our favorite authentic Indian restaurant. Very pleasant owner & waiters and absolutely delicious food. Parking: Paid parking right across
May 2024 was my first time at Utsav and it was wonderful! The food was so good. I really enjoyed the Channa Masala and the Lamb dish. Everything we ordered from the menu was fresh and flavorful. What pushed the experience from good to amazing was the server. Im very big on customer service from years of being in the industry myself and feel the need to call out great service whenever I get a chance. Haresh S. was extremely friendly, charming, and very helpful in making recommendations. Ustav is lucky to have someone like him on their payroll. Treat him well because he deserves it! Hes the main reason my husband and I will come back again.
Cozy little spot for delicious Indian fare. Unfussy and warm service. The food is really yummy, especially the Naan.
The food is delicious, the service excellent. We shared lamb Rogan josh, chicken malai Tikka, cauliflower aloo, and onion bhajia
Amazing food and very friendly!
Hands down the best Indian restaurant I ve been to!
I felt compelled to write a review because the food at this place was truly terrible. I got takeout from here because it was the closest Indian place to my hotel with decent reviews. I was really looking forward to the food after a long day. Specially the lachha paratha. I was sadly extremely disappointed. I had gotten the chicken Kashmiri korma, dal makhni, butter naan and lachha paratha. The quantities were more than generous and the food was hot. But the good part ends there. All of it completely lacked flavor. I do not understand how they managed to make the dal super spicy and completely flavorless at the same time. The chicken was just ok, kind of sweet but also completely lacking flavor. The most disappointing were the breads. The butter naan was rubbery. They had either overkneaded the dough or kept it frozen or both. But the worst thing was the paratha. I don t think whoever runs this restaurant knows what a lachha paratha is. They took that same rubbery naan and fried it with some spices to call it lachha paratha. No layers, no flakiness, not even the right kind of dough. The prices at this place are not cheap. To serve such atrocities in the name of Indian food is a shame. I have a hard time wasting food. So, I put the generous amounts of leftovers in the fridge but I don t think I can bring myself to eat this again. It was that bad.
Me and my friend visited this place after checking this place reviews and felt utsav is best place to fullfill our cravings, but unfortunately we had a very bad experience with food , infact one of the bad experience with food in recent. We order onion baji which came without spicy and crispy, both chicken and veg biryani tasted like pulihora, paneer was also sour in taste.if you are really looking for some South Indian food ignore the place
Indian hospitality is well renowned. Utsav gives you the experience without traveling to India. The most professional team and a very welcoming vibe. Must try if you are looking for Indian cuisine options.
Best food I ve ever had. Showed up 30 minutes after they had closed on accident and they still served us, very nice and hospitable service. 10/10 would 10000% recommend
Nestled in the heart of Toronto, Utsav Restaurant offers an exquisite culinary experience that tantalizes the taste buds and delights the senses. The menu boasts a diverse selection of dishes, each expertly crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Whether youre craving classic comfort food or innovative fusion cuisine, theres something to satisfy every palate. Its a hidden gem of Yorkville
Love this place. We had the kindest server!! Really good food and amazing salt lassi! 10/10 would recommend :)
Been there many times. No other restaurant serving Indian Cuisine can match this restaurant
The best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at! The staff were lovely. The dishes were delicious and the environment very calm and pleasant. I highly recommended !
Quint cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and owner was very attentive. I would recommend the Vindaloo, if youre feeling adventurous with spice.
Incredible, authentic Indian food, freshly prepared and straight out of the stove/oven. My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and we had the saag paneer, Chicken Tikka, aloo paratha, and vegetable pakora. Every item was so delicious and well prepared and the service was excellent. Will definitely visit again!
Kid-friendliness: I had a 9 year old who loved the butter chicken and it was her first time trying it. Food
Utsav is my new go-to Indian food craving. Surprisingly, its not greasy, and I didnt have any afterburn. Some of our orders were samosas and pakoras for starters; Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Chicken Korma, and Lamb Saag for mains, with Mattar Pilau, and Naan as sides; kachumber and raita for sauces that were absolutely delicious. Dinner for 4 plus tip approximately $40.00 per person. Bang for your buck.
Food was absolutely amazing. I got butter chicken, rice and naan. It was super fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed every single bite of it. I will definitely be back. AMAZING customer service 10/10. Will be back! Thank you so much
This has become our go-to Indian spot in the area! Food is incredibly flavorful and the owner is always so accommodating and friendly whenever we stop in. Cannot recommend Utsav enough!
Good atmosphere
Wow! We ordered the chicken Tikka Masala, Aloo Gobi, Lamb Madras. The service was fast and so kind, and the food was flavourful and fresh! Would recommend over and over! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options!
Went with my daughter yesterday for lunch. The Naan and Paneer was delicious and both of us enjoyed the meal very much! The service was prompt and kind. They were able accommodate the changes to the order. Appreciate and thanks !
Went out with my friends for New Years Eve and the customer service was really good and has professionalism. Really had a great time.
Good quality food! We were pleasantly surprised by our new found Indian cuisine place favorite in Yorkville!
We ve been regulars at Utsav for YEARSS and their food is always fantastic. The service is great and everyone is so kind. Great portions and price point. Super intimate space and very clean.
Love the butter chicken and naan bread for lunch. Its a small restaurant so its worth making a reservation, particularly for larger groups.
Imagine coming to the same place 4 times before the specified closing time but them never being able to accommodate customers. How bad do you have to be at estimating how much food you need for the night to run a restaurant for so long but failing to take in the same customer 4 freaking times? Go here only if you wanna get disappointed because I so am done.
Very rude behaviour and poor service, they showed no remorse for being unable to serve us properly and did not reply to our queries properly. Never go here.
We have been loving ustsav food. N being a gud taste .. go n try it. With the family.
Great facilitie
Small Indian restaurant at nice location in the uptown area of Toronto! Reasonable price with excellent service and presentation.
Utsav is a small cozy restaurant in the heart of Yorkville. The service is excellent and the food is incredible. Would highly recommend the saag paneer with garlic naan!
Place ambience and staff and food OMG!! Mustbtry achari panner
Good amount of tasty food for a very fair price!
My partner and I went last night for the first time. Food and Service were both excellent. Very good prices and portions! We will 100% be coming back.
I had their Paneer Makhani and Garlic Naan on the 9th of April. It was a pickup order and to be honest, I was a bit disappointed. The garlic Naan was amazing but the Paneer Makhni was so sweet. I have had food at other fine dining Indian restaurants which usually tends to cater to the local crowd and even by their standards I found the curry to be very sweet. Hope it was just an off day in the kitchen.
Worst in GTA
I asked for no chillies but my fish was heavily spiced and almost inedible. The mango Lassi was really delicious.
From the moment you walk in the customer service is 100% top-notch and so is the food
Excellent food. Nice staff. Helpful.
this is our fav Indian Restaurant ever! for a couple reasons: 1. food is fabulous but thats just a basic compliment. 2. the service! the people! amazing, professional and kind. 3. the best thing - the diversity! everytime we come here we see people from various backgrounds and that is such a massive thing to be proud of. everyone feels welcomed and its not just one community dominance. my girlfriend is a Filipino and this is hands-down her fav restaurant and i love to bring her here. thank you Utsav Restaurant!!
Waited 2 hours for delivery after receiving a confirmation and never received update saying they didn t confirm order and would deliver at 10 pm No text or email yet insisted they had done so. UNRELIABLE DONT TRUST THIS RESTAURANT
Loved it. Service was perfect and the food outstanding.
Great food. It was great to chit chat with the owner afterwards.
Utsav is my go to Indian restaurant for Goan King Fish Curry for 4 years now, I was introduced to this place by my colleagues when my office was nearby. Their food is rich in spices and flavours with good sized portions . Great location in the heart of Yorkville yet with prices not as high as you might expect for this area.
Okay taste, not enough quantity, good hospitality
The experience exceeded our expectations. The service was sincere and outstanding. The food was exceptional, and after finishing our meal, full to the gills I still wanted more. The service pace was perfect. I feel now that Ive found my go-to place for Indian food. Highly reccommended.
Delicious food with amazing service, definitely recommend it..
10/10 Dal Makhani
We ate at this restaurant on my birthday on July 1 and had a great time. The service is A+. The food is A+. Everything = A+. Its a cozy, quiet restaurant, which I loved. The two ladies who served us were so nice and attentive. And the food? AMAZING! I loved everything I ate. The chicken curry was superb. The lamb biryani was fantastic. And the shrimp-something (cajun dry-rubbed shrimp or something) was impeccable. The shrimps/prawns were so big and tasty. You really get your moneys worth eating here. And then theres the naan bread, which is just - omg - the best naan bread Ive ever had in my life. It was soft and had a nice texture. Most store-bought naan breads become hard minutes after microwaving them but these naan breads retained their hotness and texture throughout our meal. As someone who does not like salty food, I also appreciate that you did not load the food with salt. The two or three times I tried Indian food (mostly from mall food-courts) I couldnt eat them b/c I found them, especially the meats, too salty, but thats not the case with this restaurant, so thank you for not loading your food with a gallon of salt. The chefs cooking the food are doing an excellent job. Honestly, this is one of the best restaurants Ive ever been to. I dont have any negative thing to say about this place because theres none. If youre looking for delicious, perfectly-cooked and fresh Indian food, and a quiet, cozy atmosphere to eat, this is it. When next Im in Toronto, this is the only restaurant Ill eat at.
The worst Biryani I had ever.
Very nice and quiet place to have an excellent Indian dinner.
Great food and service . Enjoyed vegetarian thali . It had Good amount of quantity. Appetizers were delicious too. Highly recommend coming to this restaurant.
Excellent !!!
My favorite Indian restaurant when I am in Toronto.
Best food and service, we all enjoyed it
Probably the best Indian food in the city. Had the saag paneer, butter chicken and chicken korma .. all delicious!!! Will definitely be returning
Delicious food....
Went to Utsav tonight. Ordered daal makhani and achari paneer. Both were delicious. We also got the bread basket (two naans and 1 roti). These two dishes and the 3 breads were the perfect amount for 2 people. The service was quick, and the mango lassi was amazing!!! Had a very authentic taste.
Butter Chicken is a must try
Vegetarian options: Indian Vegetarian options available Food
Best service! Delicious food! Awesome atmosphere! Highly recommend to anyone!!!
Tried saag paneer. It was really nice with a good aroma of tarka in it. Recommend the dish. Would give something different a try, on my next visit.
The server was super nice, amazing service. The food was great too, really liked the butter naan. Worth a visit. Vegetarian options: Some good vegetarian options
I got the butter chicken for take out and it s literally just butter chicken - there s no rice or naan that comes with it. For $20, I expected something else. Also, they didn t provide napkins or cutlery in the bag. However, their service when I arrived was very kind and I m sure it s a beautiful place to dine.
The curry was excellent and the restaurant atmosphere was nice. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. The service, however, was very slow, to the point where there was a significant delay between payment of each individual persons bill where the machine was just sitting on the table and everyone was waiting for a server to come back. We were waiting for about 45 minutes after the plates were cleared before we could pay and leave. There was also a strange delay between serving the curry and serving the rice/naan, where everyone was just staring at the curry and waiting. Id order takeout next time.
Ordered lamb biryani, It s good but wasn t for me. Heavy on Masala and spices.
The staff and servers here are some of the kindest Ive had in all of Toronto. Also, the lamb rogan josh is delicious!
We went for an early lunch and ordered Rice, Nan, Matar Paneer and Navratna Khurma. The service was very good and on time. The Salad was nice addition on the plate at the beginning. The Matar paneer was good and Navratna Khurma can be better , but the portion was good enough. The environment was quiet and nice place to have a dine in in the downtown. I will really recommend to have a nice time over there with food. Vegetarian options: The white base for curry was less spicy and good.
Great selection of Indian dishes and the owner is always pleasant. Aloo Ghobi and Garlic naan are a must try.
Service was great and attentive! The food was okay. Paneer tikka wasnt hot, butter chicken was sweet, the dal makhani was very heavy on masalas
Very good food and service!
Excellent service and truly one of the best Indian restaurants in the neighbourhood.
The food was good! Not to heavy or oily. Always wanted to venture to this location but never had the opportunity till now. Solid dishes. Wished they served us water on their own accord because its a lot of salt, but we had to ask at the end of the meal.
By far the best Indian restaurant in Toronto Service is amazing, the owner is so humble and so friendly Food is always amazing and is the best I ve had so far
Utsav is one of the best Indian restaurants in Toronto and located in Yorkville. The chef has over 14 years of experience in making fine dinning dishes. For dinner we tried, the samosas as appetizers is crispy and the filling is tastefully light on spices. Main dishes for vegetarians is matar paneer & mushroom dish. Dal Makhni lentils & red kidney beans is flavourful creamy. And the eggplant bharata is nice & simple. Naan bread is soft. Mango chutney is sweet & tangy. Takeout is packed well.
Ive never eaten such bland stuff masquerading as authentic Indian food.
Good food, Decent ambience and fast delivery. A must try place for the starters and drinks. Main course - bread combo was good and Chicken vindaloo was decent. Although we ordered spicy gravy, we didn t feel it was spicy enough! Lamb Biryani was fairly spicy and tasty. Meat was really tender and made the biryani taste more delicious Definitely a try for all Canadian folks trying to taste some indian foods.
Love this restaurant! Dine here whenever we can as it is always delicious. Dinner last week consisted of prawn biryani, lamb madrasi and jeera pulao ~ fantastic! Friendly staff and cosy environment. Highly recommend.
Great indian cuisine, very authentic and well cooked. Great service and nice place !
Me and my partner waited for almost 1.5 hours for the food to reach our table. There was only one person in the front of the house who was dealing with all of the tables and every other aspect of running the restaurant. It was a busy night and all tables were full and that person had no other help and was our host, waiter, attending pickup orders, taking calls/reservations, and calling orders to the kitchen. There is only so much one person can do. We got very hungry but waited long enough that we did not want to find another restaurant and wait more, so we stayed there. A very unpleasant experience.
Food was not balanced..one of the curry had bitter taste due to excessive turmeric..only one server was working so service was sloppy as well...menu was very limited and not many vegitarian options..
First time, very good food, very tasty and reasonable price. Ill be back
Waited for 5O minutes for takeout (were told 20-30 on the phone) only to find all containers with main dishes only half full and no cutlery included even when we specified it was going to an office. Disappointing
Great dining experience! Delicious and spicy bharta eggplant curry and rich-tasting butter garlic naan! Good-sized portions. Food was also nicely presented on cutting board. Cozy restaurant interior and friendly attentive service. Great location in the heart of Yorkville-Toronto but with menu prices not as high as you might expect for this area!
We had mshoorom mutter and aloo gobhi and it was delicious. Food was authentic and the service was great. People working there were very kind and friendly. Place is very cozy. Highly recommend!!
This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, polite and professional staff, and delicious food! We ordered the chicken korma kashmiri, paneer makhni, and garlic naan (not pictured the amazingly crisp and flavourful onion bhaji we had to start). Everything was fantastic! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quite place to have some high quality, and very fairly priced, Indian food!
Simply WoW. Great food. Great service
Best restaurant for Indian food. Highly recommend
Vegetarian options: We had veg korma and butter naan. It was delicious .
Good vegetarian food!
Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Toronto. The manager and owner are some of the most humble and kind people you ll find! I highly recommend it
Kid-friendliness: , , . ( , ),
Authentic Indian cuisine!
We had a paneer subzi, paneer kulcha and aloo paratha ...this was the first decent indian food restaurant in Toronto. Its a clean and peaceful place, good staff too. Vegetarian options: There are a few veg options but what we tried was pretty decent. Veg in an Indian restaurant includes dairy and therefore vegan items are tricky to find.
Good service, good ambience and good location, had fish Tikka roasted, king fish pieces which was good. Reasonable prices. Would recommend this restaurant.
Love this place. Whenever I want good Indian food I come here. Only four stars this time as there was not a Reisling on the wine menu...a must with spicy foods!
I had chicken biriyani. Actually main and important thing is taste which is very good. Presentation was good. The way they sprinkle some almonds on top of biriyani. Only part which I didn t like was sticky rice. Generally biriyani rice is basmati and it should not be sticky. But because of taste try it once.
Food was good. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian food
Always good food & good service.
This place was clean and delicious, the food took a bit to come out, but perhaps it was because we were a large party and they did forget some items. Our waitresses were kind and attentive. The food was so good and great portions. However we didn t eat family style and they put everyone s naan in the same basket making it confusing and missed someone s, we had to keep asking for it and they said it was in the order of the main basket but we didn t get it, so we asked our main server and she was so kind she brought one out asap. Somethings that I didn t love was that they asked us what kind of naan and rice we wanted implying that it came with the dish. With the way they asked you would think they were included. Happy to pay for them, as needed, but guest should know that they are not included with the items. The mens toilet did not have a seat either, it was completely removed Over super satisfied with our food and we would all go back.
Nice small restaurant in Yorkville, elegant, superb service, affordable and serves great Indian meals
I am uber driver, I visited to pick up 2 orders. One was ready, whereas, otherwise was not. The way they treated me in cold weather is really a work of appreciation. They give respect to everyone.
Best Indian food in Yorkville Been going there from 2010
Went for a group lunch. The food was good, but the portions were a bit small and the service was a bit scattered
Felt the person at cashier named Suresh, is very humble, down to earth and soft-spoken manager , very warm welcoming to guests when approached. He is gentle and very welcoming gesture to approach and treat people, particularly if you are looking to dinner with your family but not sure about hosts in dt, you can visit the place without hesitance to get warm welcome .
From the year 2005 till date 18 long years always from heart super. THANK YOU UTSAV
Loved veg food here. Good quality and quantity
We ve been loving the food and service from utsav for well over 6 years ! This is our go to place when we crave Indian food. Their dishes are packed with spices (for taste) and flavors. It s very authentic and they have been consistant with their quality over the years. If you order from them, it s best to pick up or use their own delivery service. You get an extra little treat of papadum with mango chutney delicious !
Best Tadka Dal & Rice I had in a long time
Super nice and welcoming staff. Great halal food. Really enjoyed the visit.
Had prawn biryani excellent
Very nice cozy restaurant in Yorkville with good prices. Food is more ordered to share than as a single meal by yourself, best to enjoy with 2 or more people. Reservation was heled even though we were 10 minutes late but I called first. Seated quickly, ordered when we wanted, food was really good (even though I dont do spicy, this was extremely spicy as many will do it, which was great for me).
Loved this place! The food was delicious and the ambiance is really cozy. Highly recommend!
Nothing wrong with this restaurant, good portions, nice quiet table by the window. Nothing special either. Just a normal Indian restaurant. The one thing we did not like so much is that the lunch special include naans, but were small, and put in the same basket to share.
I bring all my out of town guests here... best service and really, really good food. They accomodate my dietary restrictions also which is helpful
My favorite Indian food in all of Toronto! Fresh and authentic
I highly recommend this place. Everything is authentic and delicious.
The food was really nice. We ordered achari paneer, navratan korma and Chana masala. Paneer and navratan korma were tasty but we felt like it had less salt. Rotis were fresh and tasty. Mango kulfi is really very tasty. One of the best in Toronto. The customer service was really good as well.
The butter chicken is disgustingly sweet. Doesnt taste like butter chicken at all. Very disappointed. Wouldnt recommend this place.
The real authentic home made flavour and delicious Indian food. My favorite place to have Indian cuisine. Customer service is the icing on the cake. You never get disappointed. Love the place Thanks to the chef.
Very tasty, friendly staff and big portions.
Just stopped by quickly for the bread bowl and appetizers. There wasnt anything we had that wasnt amazing.
Delicious! A lovely cozy spot with exceptional customer service. Food is so flavourful
This Indian restaurant is a hidden gem and inexpensive, especially for Yorkville! The lamb vindaloo was delicious, so tender and meaty, and the flavours are spicy and tasty. Their aloo gobi ( cauliflower and potatoes) is done so well, soft, textured cauliflower with a spicy curry mixed with potatoes. The butter chicken is fit for those who like their butter chicken on the sweet side. Great portion sizes and really great service. Looking forward to our next visit. We got take out and everything travelled really well and tasted just like in the restaurant. The naan was not quite the same since it cooled down but that is understandable.
I tried butter chicken and garlic naan , both were really good. Clean place , great service I will go there again.
Very warm service, great staff, excellent taste. Great value for money.
I have ordered from here many times and have never been disappointed. Since moving to Toronto Ive been looking for GOOD Indian food and a lot of recommended places fall short or just dont have enough spice in their food. This place, however, meets and exceeds all my expectations. I love it and I will slowly be working my way through almost all the menu items.
Restaurant has very tasty food. Non-artificial flavor.
Food is great here.
Best butter chicken hands down
Tasty northern Indian food with good service.
The food was great, but the wait was quite long
Just had a terrific meal at Utsav s. The onion bhaji was the best I ve had in recent memory. My companion and I found the chicken tika masala to be well spiced and very flavourful, the chicken moist and tender. We also enjoyed the eggplant bhatra which was rich, nicely seasoned and a perfect compliment to the tika masala. We will definitely be returning to Utsav s!
Went there yesterday. We tried Saag Paneer, Lamb Vindaloo which was so good. Best if you have a reservation as we saw lot of people showing up for dining.
My favorite Indian food in the city. Consistently delicious.
Oct 2017 - Great little place, decent prices with good food, good service and large portions. We left happy, stuffed and satisfied. Nov 2021 - came back again 4 years later and it was ever better the second time around. Service was great, the food was updated and was absolutely delicious. We loved it so much! Well done, for keeping your excellence over the years.
I came to try and pick up an order but was told Id have to wait 10 minutes. I waited 10 minutes and then was told that they hadnt even started my order and that they didnt know when it would be ready. Waste of time.
