Wood-fired aged sourdough pizzas and Italian sharing plates. Featuring original cocktails, imported draught beer, and a thoughtful curated list of revolving wines and champagne. With over 50 varieties available by the glass or bottle.
Great, cozy spot! The kale Caesar salad is amazing and the potato pizza.
We escaped here for a delicious pizza dinner. Both the mushroom, that was made with aged sourdough & the tomato basil pizza were a hit :) Dillon, our server was amazing. Gr8!selection of Amaro’s too. If your in the neighbourhood, you gotta give it a try.
One of the best Italian places in the city! Would recommend their beef braised ragú and any of their pizzas.
The croquettes, kale salad and braised beef were fantastic! Spicy marg was also a hit. I would not get the Brussels sprouts or calamari again.
I would highly recommend this restaurant, the food was delicious, the service was excellent & the ambiance was fantastic. We sat on the patio, enjoying a beautiful summer evening, and we got the Funghi pizza, which really was so tasty, I loved it!
Dined here last night for my first time on New Year’s Eve. My girlfriend and I had lucked out and got the last reservation for the 7:30 sitting on a whim a few weeks ago. We were so glad we did. Everything about how they put together this special NYE service was exceptional. The cocktails, wine by the glass selection, the prix fixe menu, ambiance, and most impressive - the service. All of it, top drawer. I especially appreciated the music being festive but not too loud so we could actually talk to each other (sign of my age, I guess lol). This was my first time here but it will definitely not be my last, and we may even make this our NYE tradition from now on. A massive THANK YOU and Happy New Year to the entire crew for helping us ring out 2023 on a perfect note.
Overall the food & drinks were good, but the seating is uncomfortable especially if you like to eat and have multiple dishes. I would go back to try other dishes off the menu in the future.
Second time here and was just as good as I remembered. The server was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. And lots of fun cocktails to choose from. Would definitely go again.
We live nearby and love the yummy food - the woodoven pizzas are always delicious and the drinks are so tasty too! Great options no matter if youre looking for a quick app/dessert or a full meal!
Really cute and cozy restaurant. Service is friendly. Food and drinks are good, though selection is limited, and they ran out of the dish I wanted to order. Would still recommend.
Madelaine was a great server we will come back just for her!
Great food, service and ambience, highly recommend!
One of the best dining and restaurants in Toronto! A wonderful neighborhood and atmosphere, with the most exquisite and unique tasting Italian dishes and flavours. 10/10, five stars all the way, will definitely be back and bring friends too !!
Absolutely fantastic food, cute as hell, very skilled server. We really enjoyed the heated/covered patio on a cool day. Love the neighbourhood. Cant wait to come back!
Wow. What a great restaurant. They have an outdoor seating area which unfortunately was not available the day I went as it was pouring rain. Sat inside and it is a cozy space with a very warm, modern vibe to it. The pizza oven takes centre stage at the end of the bar, but it does get very hot sitting close to it; had to be asked to to be sat away from it. Aside from the heat issue, the food was phenomenal. I ordered the anchovy pizza - yes, I like anchovies - and was very happy with my choice. The dough was crisp and thin and the tomato sauce complemented the saltiniess of the anchovies. Ive had anchovy pizza at other establishments before and they could never get the balance right. Delicious! My friend ordered a refreshing agnolotti with asparagus and lime and wow. Sublime. For starters we had the caprese salad and it too was refreshing. The mozzarella was somehow whipped up into an airy, frothy delight. Wanted to try the calamari appetiser, but it was prohibitively priced as it were a main. A bit on the pricey side but would definitely go again for a nice night out.
Good food but overpriced for the portion got the braised beef ragu and it had very little beef and definitely could have had more pasta as well. Was a bit disappointed also because the price I saw on Google was 18.99 and when I got there it was 29.99. The waiter was nice and explained Google wouldn t let them update it I feel the restaurant should be updating their prices so paying customers aren t surprised when they pay for their meal. Not sure I would go back due to the portion of their entree
Amazing establishment! Great food, and exceptional service. Big shout out to Dylan, he had our table laughing the whole night!
Its a little Cosy place weve visited a couple of times. Had the fried artichoke - coming back for that for sure! Cacio e pepe was decadent. And the braised rib over rapini - man, Im still thinking about it. Service is personable and impeccable. Def recommend it.
Not your average neighbourhood restaurant, but elevated. Service was kind, Canadian and knowledgable. Drink menu simple and unique. Ordered the kale salad, arancini (nice mushroom flavours), papardelle ragu (ragu won the plate, paste was more al dante), and the eggplant parm (hit the spot!). We will be back for the dependable food, atmosphere and servers favorite ham croquette for our next date.
We had a delicious early dinner here. The atmosphere and service was awesome as always!
Totally perfect. Love having this place close by, and cant wait to go back! We each got a pizza (love the dough and generous amount of burrata!) and split the brussels sprouts which shouldnt be missed. They were great to make me a non-alcoholic cocktail that was delicious.
This place has gone down hill. Not sure what happened.. Ive been around 4-5 times but wont be back. Service is poor, timing of items to table, availability of menu items, quality of food. Oh and im not sure when it became acceptable to charge 4x for cheap Lambrusco. Luckily there are dozens of excellent actual Italian restaurants in Toronto that we can continue to support.
Great pizza! Will come back :)
Food and cocktails were good. Overpriced for portion size for sure. Working in the service industry it was a joke that we spent over $100 per person with 4 of us and we got a raspberry with a candle in it when we said we were celebrating a bday there. Not great customer service from a management pov but our server was great and attentive.
I really enjoyed my time at Annette Food Market! I did not know what to expect, but I was impressed. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was fun and lively and Dylan took great care of my wife and I. 10/10, would recommend
Great spot. Brought some friends there for a lovely dinner. Dylan was solid as was the food!
Love this place. Food is so good... Carpaccio is seriously delicious! Service is great, theyre friendly and super accommodating. So glad to have this place in the neighbourhood! Food
This is a really special place. Nice low lit ambience. We sat at the bar. Bartender was personable and responsive with food and drink order through the night. Kitchen is amazing; we had artichoke hearts, grilled calamari and the brained beef short rib. All fantastic. Would definitely recommend family and friends to dine here
Great food, good service, lovely ambiance; a neighborhood jewel.
Delicious food and the best cocktails in the area! Pizza is wood fired in the oven. Cosy atmosphere.
The service and vibe here is great, the arancini and pizza was really good!
Ringed in the New Year at Annette Food market and it was a blast! Their set menu was great, and the service was top-notch. Staff took the time to explain every dish, making the experience extra special. A perfect way to welcome the new year.
HORRIBLE Experience! Annette Food Market used to be my favourite restaurant in Toronto. I d say I ve dined there 8-10 times, always either in the main area or on the patio. Back in 2020, I moved across the country and when I knew I d be in town on February 17, 2024 I just had to make a reservation (I booked my reso way back on January 1st) for myself and 4 family members. Upon arrival we were told we d been given the private dining room in the back - a large high top table which I would estimate can seat 10-12 people. The chairs that accompany the table are extremely uncomfortable - especially if you are 7 months pregnant (though the rest of my party agreed). I immediately asked our server if we could be moved to the main dining area. She said she would ask the host but that currently it was totally full and it would be tricky since we are 5 people. I explained that I m heavily pregnant and was literally in pain so I would appreciate it if we could be moved if something became available later on. I tried cushioning my chair with my winter jacket which didn t help and eventually I had no choice but to stand for the entire meal. Luckily I was able to eat standing since the table was so tall. I don t blame the waitress - she even told me she felt terrible and that I look so uncomfortable. She told me I should have specified that I would like to sit in the main dining room at the time I made the reservation, but I told her that I didn t even know this back room existed - otherwise I would have. Maybe the restaurant should have told me that they would be seating me there at the time I had made the reservation (though admittedly I wouldn t have known the chair situation until I got there). While I understand that it was too packed for them to move us, I was shocked when we received our bill and nothing was done to show their regret for my experience - every passing staff member saw me standing while they walked to and from the kitchen. Whether it be a dessert on the house, waiving the app we shared, or even just taking 10% off the bill - ANY gesture to try and rectify the situation, but nothing. I truly will never be returning. A restaurant I spent months excited to eat at - the one and only place I went to during my short time in Toronto - really devastated me. If I could make at least one recommendation - replace those awful chairs. Everyone hated them. Invest in something comfortable. As a side note, I want to add that while the pizza is still amazing, I felt the quality of their pastas really went down.
Don t order pasta if you know how pasta should be cooked: 3 people out of 6 ordered pasta, cacio pepe w fresh truffles, pasta was overcooked - no salt in water - I was very disappointed because these are the basics of pasta making !!
Food, wine and service were all excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and buzzing - the place was full on a Friday night. The funghi pasta was incredibly delicious. Love the bar area. 4 star is due to the terribly uncomfortable seating at the 4 seat hightop table beside the wood burning oven (which gives off a fair amount of heat btw). The counter stools are simply awful ..too small (we are not big people) with a back rest that pushes you forward.. my partner sort of stood-sat the whole time.
The food and drinks are great. Sometimes I feel rushed by servers. Not this most recent time. I think they are hiring great people lately. Need a visa to make a reso. Food worth it though.
Worst pizza Ive ever eaten.
Beautiful cozy restaurant with relaxed yet professional service, delicious food, and an exceptional wine list. Perfect for date night or anytime, really. I especially like to sit by the wood pizza oven in the winter!
The meal wasnt cheap but the food was delicious and the service was excellent. It is a tiny place so be sure to make a reservation Food
The food was good, however the portions were a bit small for the mains. My partner and i shared the tomato and basil pizza, and the arancini balls. The pizza was tasty amd had a nice thin, light crust, while the arancini sauce was a slightly thick and we wouldve preferred a bit more sauce to it. Our guests ordered the lobster agnolotti amd another pasta dish, which they said was tasty, but also that they were glad to have had snacks before they came as it was smaller sized portions for the price. Service was very friendly.
Just stopped in and daaaaannng those are some good pizzas. Sat at the bar, bartender was great, gave honest recommendations. Best brussel sprouts weve ever had. Brussel sprouts so good, Im actually upset at all the *other* brussel sprouts Ive had before.
Great ambiance, cocktails and pizza. Small but cozy space so a rezo is probably a good idea.
Wonderful ambiance. Definitely coming back.
Great food, great ambiance. Quite pricey and not often a cheap option on the wine list. Used to eat here a lot prepandemic.
Cosy space with limited menu very well executed. Excellent private dining room which needs to be booked well in advance.
One of the best dining experiences Ive had in years. The cocktails were better than those Ive had in high price cocktail bars. The appetizers were delicious and the pizzas were perfect. The atmosphere inside is cozy and lovely. Cant recommend this place enough.
Nice place to eat and drink.
Super great wood fire pizza. portion cud be better for sharing food. But venue and taste is great.
This spot was a great place to spend our date. Myself and my partner ate the grilled calamari, carpaccio and anchovy pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the spot to anyone who likes italian food. Seating outside is close to the road and sidewalk which coupd be better but overall great service. Their cocktails were delicious too.
It was very noisy. My tomato and basil pizza was so flimsy I had to cut my slice and roll it up to eat it. The Bolognese balls were not good. After spending almost $300, it was disappointing.
Only issue is that its a little bit cramped inside. Theyre hurting for space and it shows.
Excellent quality Italian and talented mixologists! Great place to visit if you re in the junction!
I got the prosciutto and arugula pizza and my wife got the eggplant parm. The food was delicious but the portion size for the eggplant dish was on the smaller side. The pizza was also a bit too wet in the center. The red wine we got was also very good. I would go again to try some other dishes.
An excellent intimate Italian restaurant. Delicious pasta, pleasant service
Great food great service definitely one of my favourite places
Birthday dinner in the backroom with family. Everything was fantastic, including the quieter space for conversation. Pizzas were fantastic as were the appies (olives, calamari, & sprouts (al dante)). The cocktails were also amazing with unique flavours and combinations. Vegetarian options: veggie pizza & appies
Great Italian food at a local neighbourhood gem. Be sure to make reservations in advance as its a small place with limited seating. Theres a patio out front - plus, the server mentioned that they use the patio from Good Neighbour in the evenings. Well be back!
Stumbled upon this place on our walk near High Park and now raring to go back. The food, service, menu, drinks are all on point.
Best Neapolitan pizza in the city
Ok. So let s keep this simple. Literally every dish here is amazing. A small, understated restaurant that serves a consistently great meal. Food Always flavourful, service is always great and the pricing is fair. Always look forward to going.
This was my first time at this restaurant. It was for a graduation dinner. I had a little of everything on the menu. Outstanding. The downside is the restaurant is really small. They say they accept walk ins but the next time I tried to walk in the waitress told me that I should have a seat outside on a wet table and chair.
Amazing cocktails. The vegan pizza is the best I ve had in the city. I only wish they had more plant based options so I could get a full meal when I come here!
Cute neighbourhood spot for dinner. Has a good side patio. Pastas and pizza are really good, must get the kale salad if you like kale!
I went here last night. I needed a quick drink after a long day of work. I ve been meaning to go here for a while. Anyways, I sat at the bar and had the most delicious drink made by Dylan (Dilly). He made my stay extra wonderful. He suggested great food and drinks. The atmosphere was also so cozy. I will definitely be coming back with my girlfriends for a night out. 10 stars!!!!
Delightful meal and dining experience! Food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. We will be back !
Great food, great ambience, great team, and extremely quiet place and neighbourhood
Unreal food... Love the atmosphere - intimate, friendly, and casual. Mix of good people in the dining area. Service was excellent.
Lovely casual dining on the street, but thin Pizza requires scissors to cut up if you don t want to wear the delicious toppings!
The name threw me off but I was told they make good napolitana style pizza so I went by to try it as Im currently the number one pizza reviewer in Toronto... Excellent pizza premium ingredients try it
Everything was good.
Went on a date night here on a Friday night as it is right in our neighbourhood. Very cozy spot. Great atmosphere and service. The pizza was great too (had the Funghi and the Hot Honey). The only thing I would not recommend is the Caesar salad as it is not great value for what you get. Regardless, really great local restaurant that I would highly recommend for a date, special occasion or even casual dining.
Ordered by phone and they charged me double the price then what was on their google menu. Rude workers, they didn t care at all and didn t even bother to apologize. Who charges almost $20 for 10 Brussels sprouts drizzled in olive oil? (Well they do) ridiculous. Nothing special about this place but bad service. There are better options at the Junction.
Food was amazing, great atmosphere, you could actually carry on a conversation without shouting at each other. Will definitely be going back. Perfect neighborhood spot!
Had a great dinner with some friends at this place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.
A Magnificent Experience! I have tried the clam pasta and it is so delicious and very fresh! Probably my favorite pasta that I can remember! The atmosphere there was also very friendly: Quiet and with the air of a real Italian kitchen! The prices are very resonable, and I would go again soon!
food was excellent and very cool neighbourhood vibe. The only downside was we were completely rushed through our meal due to 2nd seating. I feel when you go for a nice meal , you should be able to enjoy a dessert. We were politely reminded our time was up.
Food too salty
Grilled calamari is insane
Kid-friendliness: Lots of yummy pizza choices Food
A gem of a spot I accidentally discovered while walking to the core area of the Junction as its off the main strip. The food and vibe are as first-rate as the staff are knowledgeable and genial. Special shout out to Dylan for taking care of us and making us laugh throughout the whole meal. He even recommended some books that are must reads. Ill definitely be back.
pizza/ pizza bread one of the best in the city, Muscles with their pizza bread.... gold!
Place is a hidden gem. Great food, great service and an overall great ambiance. Highly recommend
Beautiful and cozy place, amazing food and fine wine selection. Must come back for wooden oven baked pizza.
Amazing food and phenomenal service. Love sitting at the bar and being able to watch the pizzas cook in the wood burning oven. Highly recommend. Cant wait to go back!
This place was beyond expectations. From our reservation (which we couldnt get since they were full on a Wednesday) to saying goodbye was a total memorable experience. I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman serving us but the experience was as pleasant and welcoming as It could possibly get. Thank you for the delicious food and beer. Well done on your cocktails as well. Will be back soon.
Great atmosphere and services, and their food was spot on. Good portions and did not leave us hungry like other restaurants.
Went to Annette Food Market for dinner last night to celebrate my friends birthday. Service was wonderful. Place is a really charming date spot. We each got a pizza and really enjoyed them (she got the potato pizza and I got the tomato & basil). I love that they use sourdough since I currently cant eat regular wheat pizza. I think this may be my favourite pizza in the city; the tomato sauce they use is amazing - feels like it came right out of a Nonnas kitchen. We had a little raspberry/chocolate tart for dessert which was sublime. The only downside was that both of our wine selections werent great, and on top of that, when the bill came, I couldnt believe that they charge almost $20 for each glass - similar to the price of each pizza. With that said, I will 100% be returning for more pizza in the future. Highly recommend.
Just tried this restaurant tonight for the first time. Had a few cocktails to start, then had the short rib and seafood pasta. Everything was excellent. Highly recommended.
The food took 1H 45m to arrive this was expected as the ordering platform emailed an expected time of arrival of 1.5hours after our order was placed. It was very disappointing to have the food arrive cold and soggy. To add to that the Nduja sausage pizza was so salty it was on the edge of inedible. The dough was nice, the pepperoni pizza was good. For our first experience we were let down.
Had a wonderful experience here. Very cozy restaurant with great service. It took some time for them to attend to us at the door but understandable since they were quite busy. It definitely helps to reserve a table! I love restaurants with a one page menu.. and even then it was hard to choose with all the good selections. I ordered the arancini for apps which was excellent. I ordered the Potato pizza and I loved it with some chili oil. My friend ordered Linguine ai Frutti di Mare which he really enjoyed. The Lemon Cheesecake was amazing! Not too sweet and I love the passionfruit coulis with it. Honestly I would come back no doubt!
Delicious
Delightful. My 1st choice for Birthday dinner each year. We always reserve but bar seating and take out exist High Park is a pleasant 10-20 min walk away
Great cocktails, food and service mussels were superb.
Awesome food. Decent service. Creative drinks. Wobly table and dull knives. But, well be back for more.
Really freat food nice people definitely would go back was a great surprise
The Caesar wedge was very meh. Not enough dressing. Small. Lack lustre. The burrata was meh again. Not enough salt with the sauce/tomato part. The tomatoes were too ripe and mushy. I can t believe old soggy grape tomatoes were used in that dish. It should be fresh heirloom tomatoes. The pizza was incredible, I ll give you that. And the eggplant parm was delicioussss, but 24 bucks for a few slices of eggplant, breaded and stacked with sauce and cheese? Too expensive for the portion. As well, if you have pizza plates that big, how do you expect people to eat on those tiny tiny tables? I know tables are usually small but my share plate couldn t even fit on the table with the mains. Maybe I ll be back for pizza, maybe. But doubt it.
Great heated patio for a quick drink. LE CELLIER DE BOÄL Artisanal Brut Cider, France - was wonderful!
Really nice and cozy Italian resto and bar! Great service and delicious Italian food!
Amazing cocktails, fabulous pizza. All around a great night and experience
This is a 5 stars restaurant. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is cozy and romantic. 10/10 for me, just love it!
Outstanding pizza and other dishes cooked in a wood oven. Great wine and drinks. Very friendly. Awesome local gem.
The service was excellent and the food especially great. I will back again
I went with a couple of friends and had a really lovely time. Our server was so knowledgeable, spirited, and attentive. So grateful for the incredible teamwork of the staff. I shared a really delicious sourdough pizza (prosciutto and arugula, incredibly lovely and fresh!) and the kale salad (perfectly olive oil coated with some nice zing) with a friend. Our other friend really enjoyed her short rib dinner. The cocktail (Negroni) was lovely. I appreciated that they made it more bitter then sweet. I would definitely return for a nice special occassion or just a dinner out with friends. Beautiful ambiance as well. It was nice to enjoy an outdoor dinner before it gets too cold.
Good Italian food, good cocktails and good service. Always happy to have this little place right in the neighbourhood. Theyve always been great with our kids and managing the meal around keeping the little people eating and entertained. Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options on the menu (pizzas, pastas, egg plant parm). Kid-friendliness: Happy to manage our meal around the urgency of getting food into our kids faster and figured out how to manage around getting their dishes out first.
Hadnt been here in years and went with a friend two weekends ago (had a reso). Service was incredibly quick and we ordered the cesare salad, the mushroom pasta (it was a special) and a pizza - both were amazing. Definitely would go back!
My Italian gf says their pizza is pretty close to her home... nuff said.
Friendly service, delicious food. Patio in the summer is .
4. The ambiance of Anette Food Market is great- it s warmly lit, intimate, and vibrant. The menu is extensive with classic Italian favourites and great specials. I always order olives when they re on a menu- they were particularly yummy! Also ordered the Brussel sprouts, the Ragu, and the pasta special (which was a mushroom pasta). Everything was really good except the service. We didn t get drinks and our server seemed angry at us for it. They really stopped checking in on our table after clearing our plates- had to go up to the bar to pay our bill. Really enjoyed the food so I will return to try again but didn t love the service.
Cozy, warm neighbourhood spot, 8 of us in the back room for a special event had a great time.
Ordered from here for the first time through not-ubereats. Wish Id known sooner. Loved the cauliflower and agnolotti and Tuscan Kale. Sorry, no photos, would have taken up eating time. Delivery was perfect and direct. Never had a meal arrive from uber I didnt have to reheat. This was ready to plate.
First timer...ordered Valentines Day dinner and O.M.G.! Every single dish was simply delicious. Ordered Mushroom Manicotti, Kale Salad, Muscles and Margherita Pizza. Will definitely been ordering again!
One of our favourite restaurants for a nice meal in the area. The arrancini are excellent and bring back fond memories of a trip to Sicily. The pizzas are also top notch.
Easily a 5, awesome service, awesome food.
Only pizza place in all of Toronto that refuses to cut the pizza for you. Good luck to anyone that orders and does not own a pizza cutter themselves. When I called to inquire about this I was put on hold and an annoying beeping was blasted into my ears. Great pizza, terrible service and policies.
Pizza 10/10, wine list amazing, service A+. There is no reason to keep looking, just go eat here.
Their pasta is TO DIE FOR! Very fresh semolina - great pricing and portions plus nice corner patio!
Great food for very reasonable prices. Friendly staff :)
Food and drinks were great! We got pizzas and Margarita drinks.
The food is tooooo good! Great service and 2 high chairs?! Amazing
I have mixed feelings about Annette food market. The cocktails were delicious and the apps were full of flavour. However, the pasta dishes we ordered were both quite bland and lacked flavour (pasta ai funghi and asparagus pappardelle). I will return to try the pizza as it looked tasty.
Delicious, quaint, and amazing service!
Had some really lovely pizza here on the patio. Friendly staff. Cocktails leave a bit to be desired, but overall a great meal. They dont take reservations, but if you get there early enough, there are a good number of tables.
Great Italian menu. Try the eggplant parmigiana. Superb. Excellent service. Patio was comfortable even in 30°C Toronto August heat wave.
Good cocktails and food
Food was delicious, drinks were very fancy and service was great. Patio let you people watch and feel the heartbeat of he neighbourhood. I d recommend this place as a good restaurant to catch up with friends over a delicious meal.
Food was excellent and portions are proper which means you dont leave hungry. Highly recommend for a nice dinner night.
Came here a couple of weeks ago for the first time. I really wanted to like it, and the food was actually pretty delicious, but for some reason they dont believe in cutting anything from the Caesar salad to the calamari to the pizza. We managed the appetizers, but cutting a hot saucy, cheesy pizza with an inadequate knife just left a mess. The service was pretty cold and inattentive.
Had an absolutely incredible dinner here, food was delicious, service was warm and fun. Might be one of the best cheesecakes I ve ever had.
Delicious. Their seafood pasta is amazing
Amazing food and staff. Completely recommend for anyone looking to satisfy their Italian food craving. Hard to chose what to order with such an incredible menu!
I love their sourdough pizzas and I think their desserts are the best Ive had at a restaurant. Also, Id say the Caesar salad is perfect for my palate.
Food and drinks were ok. Price was a tad high for the portion. We went during COVID so was only able to sit outside. Patio was ok. Didn t really get to see inside. Overall, not too bad of an experience.
I had the fungi pizza and my boyfriend had the prosciutto pizza. Mine was pretty good but his was a little less tasty and a little burnt. Cocktails were yummy and the tiramisu was great. Service was so friendly and atmosphere was very chill. Id like to go back and try the pasta/appetizers they looked/smelled amazing.
Annette Food Market is always our go to for a nice meal in the neighbourhood. Food is always of high quality and this last trip was no different. We ordered their eggplant parm which is still one of the best weve had. Crunchy and layered, its a guilty pleasure. A surprise for us was the shaved asparagus pappardelle which had a lighter flavor on a pea puree. Very delicious as well. Not shown are the pizza and the kale salad as both were gobbled up before I considered taking photos of the meal. Our server was fantastic and had great drink recommendations. The atmosphere was warm and cozy for our first return to in restaurant dining since the pandemic started.
Everything, a restaurant should aspire to be. AFM is inviting, cosy and delicious. I cant wait to return.
A lovely and cozy little spot with great food.
Our go to for date night! Always high quality service, great menu with some seasonally changing options and an excellent wine list. Go here for it all including great cocktails. Best for date night, celebrations or just to try their amazing pizzas.
Nice atmosphere, great food, would recommend
Well
Such a great hidden gem! Good luck trying to decide on what to eat... Everything is so tempting Split the brussel sprouts (delicious!) and both had Ragu: beef was fantastic. Lamb special was exactly that!
Pros: the place is small and intimate. Not too casual nor too fancy. The food is delicious; specifically, the pizza is very light, the desserts (We tried all of them) were also very light and not too sweet. The portions were just perfect too. The drinks were different and very original but all very tasty. Cons: don t really have any... I would definitely recommend it for a date night or even a spontaneous Sunday night family dinner.
I have rated it 5 stars since we have been loving it since we found it the food is great and amazing service. Today however we went getting our normal food but we tried their lovely fried calamari which we dont usually get. We told the waitress that my sister had a nut allergy and soon after we got the calamari after chowing down my sister got a allergy attack and we had to bring her home. As it turns out the calamari had almonds so we had to go. They did not charge us but I was mad since we told the waitress but she did nothing which was not great. Following up they did give us a gift card to come back and treated us very well so I definitely reccomend this place.
Delicious pizza
The food is awesome here. Anything on the menu is amazing. This is a very small place, so make reservations.
Good food from what I sampled. Same for drinks. Nice vibe.
Cozy neighbourhood Italian spot specializing in wood-oven baked pizza
Great atmosphere, service and food. Would suggest they create a wine list menu, though!
Great food, service, and wine selection. Sampled a few of their dishes and they were all wonderful. Our favourites were the short rib and the scallops were to die for. The pizza from the oven was quality! The Greenland chardonnay tasted great and was very smooth. Mixed drinks were on point too!
Food was great but the atmosphere was lovely
This place has such a great lil atmosphere. Pizzas were lovely and so was the cheese dip dish yum yum
Pizzas were amazing
Im sure everything here is good, but I come for the pizza. Its so good. So good.
Wow! Delicious, authentic, fresh tasting pizza! This was our 1st experience at this food emporium... The flavours were reminiscent of our Dining experience in Italy last September! We did curb-side pickup of course. This is our new local pizzeria!
My first visit to Annette Food Market was a disappointment. Yes, the pizza was delicious and the cocktails were quite good, but the service was seriously lacking. Our server (maybe Chris- that was the name on our bill) was friendly, but we barely saw him. After our cocktails I asked to see the drinks menu, then we never saw him again (until I caught another servers attention and asked for the bill). Maybe theyre still getting used to their dual patio setup, but I dont think Ill return after the poor service tonight.
Nice side patio. Servers take covid safety seriously, which makes me feel at ease. Great food!
Incredible pizza.
Food was delicious. Server was wonderful
Always a perfect meal. Cozy atmosphere, one page menu, delicious items, nice variety of great cocktails, decent selection of wines and craft beers, open view wood oven for Neapolitan style pizza. Staff is attentive and friendly. Note. Space may not be wheelchair accessible, but call to make sure.
Ordered takeout for a specific time, arrived early for pick up to find my already cold food waiting on the counter, thanks for a cold expensive dinner
Im a big fan of Annette Food Market food, their food and service is fantastic! Id highly recommend the buratta pizza!
