Old-school Italian restaurant in the heart of Little Italy! Proudly serving Toronto for 50 years. We serve Italian comfort food, early breakfast, sandwiches and burgers, coffee and desserts, and more. We are known for the famous patio in the summer, one of the city's first. We are also known for soccer, and for having a comfortable vibe, with friendly service and staff.
This large Cafe has both indoors and an enclosed patio. Prices are not inexpensive (see receipt) with beer costing $10 and a calzone $16. The service is prompt but not overly friendly nor personal. The place is historical (see photo). Food is just OK.
Food was good, it would have been great if the bread was tad bit softer and there was a bit more cheese and flavour to the chicken, great portion for price Service was fantastic Cafe has a great vibe to it
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently visited cafe dip and had an amazing experience! I made my own pasta with sun-dried tomato pesto sauce, grilled chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese, spinach, and rigatoni, and it was definitely one of my favorite pasta dishes ever😍We also tried the ribeye steak with shrimp, which was perfectly cooked and delicious! For the drinks we had Red Sangria and Mango Bellini. The ambiance is cozy, giving off a nostalgic Italian restaurant vibe. This family-owned gem has been added to my list of favorite restaurants, and I can’t wait to go back for more pastas!🤤🤤Highly recommend!✨✨
Was brought here by a friend. Great pasta and pizza. I don’t know much about Italian food but this one feels authentic enough. There was a big group while we were there watching a soccer game inside. Super rowdy and loud and it didn’t help coz it’s indoors. Service is decent. Price wise is definitely better and more worth it than anything in the core downtown area. I would definitely come again to try other the other stuff they have. Verdict: MUST TRY
We have been here a few times before. Espresso and dessert is good. Last week we ordered pizza, it looked great and tasted alright. But my partner and I got sick a few hours after eating it. We did notice the pepperoni wasn’t the greatest, very generic brand you buy at the grocery store. We’ve had better flavoured pepperoni. The crust was a bit heavy as well and hard to chew. We won’t be ordering pizza anymore here. The chicken sandwich was also very dry. Safe to just stick with our regular espresso.
We ate here for lunch out on the covered patio. The food was good and they had nicely priced food and drink specials. They also brought us a bread basket while we waited for our meals, which was nice. The patio would’ve been really nice on a cooler day, but it was actually hotter under the red cover than outside on the sidewalk. It also felt like our server was slightly more focused on the tables inside, so we were out there in the heat a little longer than we wanted.
I had been many time here because my English school was close. Today I was around the neighborhood with my husband and we decided to grab some drinks and pizza. Patio was full unfortunately, but we choose a table next to the window so we can see people and dogs passing by. We had a couple of beers with a delicious pizza, thin crust and just delicious flavor. Then for dessert we have a special coffee with liquor 🥃, cafe Napoli. So gooood. Was nice to come back.
There's this Italian restaurant that you simply can't miss. It's been around for a while and has a charming ambiance that makes you feel right at home. During our visit, we tried a few dishes and rated them accordingly. The pizza was definitely the star of the show, with its crispy thin crust and mouthwatering toppings. The lasagna came in second place, with its rich and savory flavors. However, we found the pasta to be a bit lacking in creaminess and too watery for our liking. Nonetheless, the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant more than made up for it. It's not a luxurious place, but the warmth and comfort it exudes are what make it a must-visit spot.
This is truly the place to go if you re in Toronto s little Italy! They have immaculate customer service and make you feel special even when they re full on their busiest nights. Such a great atmosphere, and a must-visit for the whole family! I recommend their make-your-own pizzas and panzerottis
Pethatic service and unresponsive staff
Staff is very bad
amazing affordable food , its no suprise that its been open 57 years I can t recommend enough !
Very good service. Been coming here for years! It s become a weekly tradition. Love this place, the staff make it so special for us every time. Shoutout to Tina, Megan, Maeve, Nick and all the other staff we always feel so at home here and well taken care of. Thank you. See you next week

Such a bad service from staff members with uber driver
Bad service staff not reponding at all
Very bad service
I came here a few weeks ago with my boyfriend, and it quickly became our favourite restaurant in Toronto!! The food matches Nonna quality, the staff is so friendly, the prices are great and the atmosphere is perfect. Cafe Diplomatico feels like home and picks us up after a hard day. We can t wait to come back!
Best food pizza pasta sandwiches and ricotta pistashio cannoli
Best restaurant ever!!!
Although the place is a bit noisy, surprisingly the food is good and the service exceptional. Very attentive staff.
Very nice
This was a nice spot. My friend and I came to visit. The sandwich was a little hard but my friend enjoyed his steak
there is something really special about this place, the food especially!
This place is a historic landmark to the community with the cozy, warm atmosphere and the feel of being served by family. Whether I stop in for a quick real deal espresso and chat or bring my family for a home cooked meal this place is my go to in the heart of Little Italy. Also the absolute best spot during the games, such great vibes and the spot to be !!!
Great breakfast sandwich and service- will definitely return
Over cooked the fish and the salad dressing horrible it was pure apple cider.
We had a very late night dinner here. Service was great and food was delicious. Amazing place for post 12 am food. Vegetarian options: Has vegetarian options in appetizers, pizzas, pasta and sandwiches.
I visit the restaurant most often, and Im never disappointed with the service and food. (Go to order tortellini with sun dried tomato pesto sauce.)
Love this spot! Amazing spot to watch a sports game and have great food!
We had lasagna meat and Sicilian crepe, it was awesome, feels like you are in Italy. Very authentic. Loved it.
I absolutely enjoyed each and every dish I tried. This place is like an hidden gem I loved the aglio e olio with grilled chicken and truffle mushroom bruschetta I am going again definitely! Vegetarian options: Alot of veggie options available specially bruschetta
The best breakfast spot with friends! Cafe dip has the best deal for breakfast I ve seen in the city, unlimited coffee refills and an eclectic atmosphere reminds us of what great establishments truly are!
VERY good food
Love it Amazing food Friendly staff Great vibes Food : 5/5 |
Great authentic Italian food! The pizza, pasta, and dessert were all delicious. The service was great. friendly staff helped us with best recommendations. Definitely will visit again!
Had a fantastic brunch at Cafe Diplomatico! The French toast was amazing, what really made the experience stand out though, was the service. Vanessa, our server, was exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Her recommendations were spot on, and she kept our coffee cups full the whole time. This is a great spot!
Tiramisu was fire
a must-see in Little Italy, good Italian cuisine, excellent pizza!! the manager speaks Italian, easier for me than English. smiling and attentive staff. I recommend.
i really love cafe diplomatico
This is the place! And, pizza is great! Enjoy!
I went last weekend to Cafe Diplomatico and I order the Sunday special for 20 dollars , i think is expensive for a pasta dish , the amount of pasta was between decent and small portion ,not tasty , the pasta was very hot and spicy , hard to catch the flavor , in general the place is good , food options are good ,is not the first time that I ate there ,I dont recommend to order the Sunday special .
We tried another place for a change, we wont make that mistake again.
Fresh and delicious food
Great place to relax and enjoy a great cup of Java!
Big space and family friendly. Would highly recommend the pizza and the pasta. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Got yelled at for forgetting my bag and walking on wet floor, big thanks for the whole Nonno experience! Foods good Ps Ill be back for sure Food : 5/5
The burger is not real meat. It s those frozen patties.
I did not enjoy my dish. I thought it was greasy. Service was very good , just the food was average IMO.
Great place to watch a game and hang out with friends. Good for bigger groups. Extensive menu, something for everyone.
The atmosphere does have a certain something that only special places are shrouded in. I had a good, enjoyable experience having the day special, red wine and a great slice of chocolate cake for dessert. I do recommend coming here, leave life outside and enjoy.
Delicious food, clean and welcoming interior, and such friendly staff. Our server, Maeve, was especially helpful, giving us a run down on all the options and great recommendations. The chicken parmesan with a side of pasta with the mushroom Alfredo was amazing, and we will definitely be back for more soon!
Loved the ambiance and the food. The pasta carbonara was delicious, Spritz was perfect and the staff were very friendly.
A fun patio with a great assortment of patrons. It s a go to place for breakfast or any time menu. Fantastic staff and service. Kid-friendliness: Kids seem to love the place Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance but bathrooms are inaccessible for wheelchairs down narrow stairs
All the server had to do was come by for 2 seconds on a slow Saturday. Its been 20 years since Ive left a 10% tip, today I just couldnt hit their minimum 18%, just a little effort from the server...one pizza hot, mine cold and such very few topping, i disnt even ask for cheese ffs...zing it tasted fine despite a lack of toppings
Great Italian
We ordered three large pizzas with different toppings each, server was friendly. We received two large pizzas with the toppings on each mixed (2 toppings on pizza A were put on pizza B and 2 toppings from pizza B were on pizza C and similar with pizza C) Not at all acceptable as the result created allergy issues. We mentioned to server the problem and would check with manager. A different server came over with the order receipt and said the pizzas were made correctly! Well, yes they were made according to the first server s instructions which were wrong! The second server refused to fix. We said we were not paying and walked out. Hope somebody enjoyed the cold pizzas. UPDATE: Well, staff gave improved and service is much better... BUR the food quality is crap... seems every thing us frozen and heated in a microwave... sorry, over cooked, and bland. I gave this place another chance and it wasnt worth it. Not returning... food bad and prices high!
Toronto legend. Well priced delicious food served by attentive staff.
A lovely place in a nice and beutiful part of Toronto. Pizza here was amazing with really thin dough and tons of toppings to choose from. No hawaiian pizza tho
Came here on a Saturday afternoon with some friends for a light dinner. I ordered the Italian sub - it had prosciutto, bocconcini, tomato and arugula. It was pretty good, although it could have been more generous with the amount of prosciutto, and it needed a bit more acidity, and would have benefited from some sauce.
Amazing pizza and super friendly staff
Best place in the city to watch a big soccer game
Visited a few days ago, had the pasta and calamari. Both came really fast and was pleasantly surprised. Zhina my server was also super sweet!
Absolutely loved my time at the The Dip! My server, Zhina was top notch and the best part was how delicious the food was! I would 100% visit again!
Went to Cafe Diplomatico in late May for my birthday and had such an amazing time. There was around 15 of us and the staff was able to accommodate our group immediately in such a welcoming way. We ordered a lot of food and drinks and we were all so surprised with the quality of food. The pizza is a must have at cafe diplomatico. Excited to go again soon!!
The food was absolutely amazing and service was outstanding!! I will absolutely be returning ASAP. If any of you haven t had the chance to visit Cafe Diplomatico yet, please do yourself a favour and get to it immediately!
Popped in randomly while just walking down College because we were hungry (and honestly I needed to use the bathroom). Turns out we ended up discovering on of my favorite restaurants in the area! Of course went for some garlic bread first and it was delicious! Was in a pasta mood so I went for the vodka cream sauce with some of their fresh pasta and it was BOMB. All around, we were in and out quickly but the food was great, but what made it was the workers. All of them were super friendly and accommodating and would go back just to get their service again. Highly recommend stopping in!
Great place with an awesome atmosphere however the costumer service and the attitude of the servers
Casual place in the heart of little Italy that has been around forever. Food never disappoints. You can reserve a table on the patio, but on a nice day, its worth the wait. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. We have been many times and will continue going in the future.
The worst food ever!!! I do not know who cooks there but the flies were everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! felt like was eating in a jungle in Africa or Ethiopia flies all over!! Furthermore I did some research and they were inspected by the CITY!!! here are the infractions 2 Minor Infraction(s) FAIL TO ENSURE EQUIPMENT SURFACE SANITIZED AS NECESSARY - SEC. 22 Action: Notice to Comply Fail to protect against entry of pests - Sec. 13(1) Action: Notice to Comply https://www.toronto.ca/community-people/health-wellness-care/health-programs-advice/food-safety/dinesafe/#infraction_details/9002170/0
Bad service, the server just took the drink menu away before even ask for an id, just assumed we were under age. Food was whatever
Food is terrible, vibe is amazing
Great location in the heart of Little Italy. The patio is great for people-watching on a summer s day. The food is very average, and nowhere close to the best Italian cuisine in Toronto, but dishes like the veal parmigiana are generally acceptable. The service tends to be prompt and friendly. It s more about the atmosphere than anything.
Excellent pizza !!
Came here for a quick drink with co-worker. Service was quick and easy. Their pitcher of sangria were $32 but half ice then frozen with frozen fruits.
The food here is so bland it gives Italian food a bad name. Coming here for the drinks and atmosphere is the only way I see why people are here.
Great food and service! Gina was really great :)
Loved the food. It was fresh and tasty. I wish they had more wine options.
The manager of the restaurant (I didnt catch his name) helped resolve and accommodate a gluten free allergy request very effectively. This is much appreciated Dietary restrictions: Gluten
TODAY I WENT TO THE RESTAURANT CAFE DIPLOMATICO ON COLLAGE STREET. I usually go there, and the atmosphere is usually pleasant, and the restaurant is frequently busy. THE SERVERS ARE NICE AND FAST MOST OF THE TIME. BUT TODAY I WENT THERE WITH MY FRIENDS, WHO ARE HERE ON VACATION, AND I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE, AND THE VIBE WAS VERY HEAVY AND LOW, NEGATIVE. When I arrived, I stood by the door and asked a server if we could sit at a table. THE SERVER SAID YES, AND WE SAT DOWN, WAITING FOR THE MENUS. HOWEVER, THE SERVER NEVER CAME BACK AGAIN, SO WE ASKED ANOTHER EMPLOYEE IF WE COULD BE SERVED. She brought the menus and told us that we should have waited at the door for our server to know we were here, and she was rude about it. BUT, WE HAD PREVIOUSLY DID THAT, AND IT WASN T THE FIRST TIME I WAS THERE, SO I KNEW WHAT TO DO. WE DIDN T SAY ANYTHING AND JUST LOOKED FOR WHAT WE WANTED TO EAT. AFTER, ANOTHER SERVER CAME TO OUR TABLE AND TOOK OUR ORDERS. WE MADE OUR ORDER, AND ANOTHER SERVER BRINGED THE FOOD AFTER A FEW MINUTES, BUT SHE FORGOT A PART OF THE ORDER. So we told her, and she said she would go get it. With our food half eaten, the server still had not delivered the missing portion of our order. SO I ASKED A NEARBY SERVER IF HE COULD BRING IT TO US SINCE I DIDN T SEE THE PREVIOUS SERVER. He said hed get it, and a few minutes later, the server that had forgotten it in the first place brought it out. WE FINISHED EATING, AND THE SERVER WHO HAD BEEN RUDE AND SCOLDED US BEFORE CAME AND TOOK OUR PLATES. WE ASKED FOR THE BILL, AND SHE CALLED THE SERVER OF THE TABLE TO BRING OUR BILL. She brought the bill, and I paid in cash to see what she would do. When I asked if she had changed, she said yes. BUT SHE DIDN T GIVE ME ALL OF MY CHANGE; SHE TOOK HER TIP WITHOUT ASKING IF I WANTED TO GIVE A TIP. FROM MY POINT OF VIEW, IT WAS FIVE EMPLOYEES IN THAT RESTAURANT, AND THEY HAD AN AREA TO EAT OUTSIDE AND INSIDE THE BUILDING, AND THE PEOPLE WHO CHOSE TO EAT INSIDE HAD WAITED A LONG TIME TO BE SERVED SINCE THE 4 SERVERS WERE ALL OUTSIDE SERVING AND 2 OF THEM WERE JUST WALKING AROUND OUTSIDE. Meanwhile, the customers inside waited to be served. In my opinion, they have poor organizational skills when it comes to serving and working together. Based on my experience in the service industry, I would have placed two of the servers outside and the other two inside. The outside servers would split, and one of them would serve the right side and the other the left side. That way, they wouldnt have to be confused about what tables were theirs or which side ordered what food. THEN, THE SERVERS OUTSIDE WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE SERVICE OUTSIDE, AND THE INSIDE SERVERS WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE SERVICE INSIDE. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THAT SERVICE. I do not think I will be a customer anymore.
This is pure nostalgia for me. Great food and wonderful staff. Get a patio table and enjoy the neighourhood.
We got in very late from a flight from the west so our family was jet lagged and ready for dinner at 11/11:30 p.m. . My kids wanted pizza and luckily this restaurant was open for late night orders. The pizza was very very good, but the waiter said it would only take 10 to 15 minutes because it was so late and there werent a lot of orders in there. Unfortunately it took at least double that amount of time and we were all so hungry and tired that that extra 15 to 20 minute wait really took a toll on us. It seemed like they just forgot about our order and I had to go in several times to check on it. The nice thing was the guy who took our order was very apologetic and gave us a piece of free cake to try and make up for it.
This is the best pasta I ve ever had!!!!!
No-nonsense, laid back, good food. Always great and always feel at home when I am there.
Visited one evening after hearing so many great things about Cafe Diplomatico over the years. Requested a seat on the patio and once we were told to sit anywhere we were promptly ignored. No water. No waiter. No one asking if we were ready to order or had questions about the menu. We watched other tables receive attention and the waiters just passed us by. (We were the only ppl of colour in that seating area at the time). Ended up walking out and dining at a restaurant across the street after waiting and receiving a total lack of service. I d never return. Very unfortunate.
I REALLY wish I was sharing one of those rave reviews but unfortunately we didnt get to taste anything. Once we walked in, the server saw us trying to figure out whether or not we seat ourselves, wandered over and waved us to a table. Once seated, we had enough time to review the menu, discuss what we wanted, decide and closed our menus. No one came over in that time. We then sat and watched the server go past us at least 3 times to tend to other tables. We eagerly waited, tried to make eye contact - but nothing. It was after 9pm on a Tuesday and it wasnt busy. We were so upset that we ended up leaving and got something to eat across the Street. I guess Ill never know what makes cafe diplomatico so great, because I surely wont be returning. Too bad!
Very terrible service! On the map they are close at 12:00 we have arrived 10:35 and he said we stop taking table as we have to close. Even though I had informed him that we came all the way from Mississauga, Will never comeback again.
The Dip has been a standard on College West since I was in college in the 80s. Pizza is still great, and affordable. Plus - they have an extremely reasonably priced 20 oz draft for 8 bucks - cold, crisp lager. Wheelchair accessibility: Place is flat, bungalow style, and at street level.
Classic Diplomat
Italian Classics perfect to share with family and friends. Delicious, non pretentious, honest food. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza is an option Kid-friendliness: Open spaces kid friendly
30 years later, same good food and atmosphere.
Price food and atmosphere are great
In the heart of Little Italy, an Italian restaurant with a historic past, where you can enjoy succulent pizze or pasta. The products are quality and the taste is there! We had a blast! Well done to the cooks!
Try the pasta al forno....its soo good
The best place to watch Italian soccer action on College!
I went there for the little Italy the time to wait for a table was reasonable and wasn t to long, we understood, but it took almost one hour to get out food & the spaghetti was more than bad :( We also tried the piña colada which was very yummy. The service was great For sure I ll be back :)
Went there yesterday with a bunch of friends for Italy vs Croatia euro game, after the 90+8 goal the atmosphere was insane, lost my voice after lol
Great place to watch a soccer game or grab a drink on the patio during the summer
It is understood that we are in the season of the Eurocup and the Copa America but some places are already abusing this. We had already consumed almost $150 dollars before the Argentina vs Canada game and both the waitress and the manager told us that they were going to charge us $65 extra per person during the time of the game or we had to leave, even though the place was not full inside, we were already sitting at the table and we were consuming food and drinks Really poor service.
Amazing
Great vibes and food overall. Perfect spot for soccer fans Food
we ordered the Greek salad which was 90% lettuce and minimal other ingredients. The pizza was thin but missing flavour. Our service was decent. Wobbly tables drive me nuts!
The rabas are excellent very good food
Reasonable prices for sandwiches. I get the meatball for around 11 bucks. Good place to catch a game.
We were pleasantly surprised with this place. Food was scrumptious and the service was even BETTER (CAPITALISED). Tina, our server, was great! Authentic Italian food, nice ambiance, and great value! Bonus: multiple TV screens... the baseball game was on! Desserts were amazing, carrot cake and tiramisù! Tina, grazie mille per le patatine. Tutto è stato perfetto! Torneremo a breve!
The food was disappointing. The pasta carbonara was plain, mainly tasted like milk cream. The onion rings lacked flavour and were not crispy. Service was fine, the atmosphere was nice but everyone that day agreed that the good was not good.
Latest visit was just ok. Love this place for 25 years. Visit this week was mediicre all around. Place was empty on a sunny saturday so maybe others are avoiding this place. 6 people, 6 orders. 3 were completely wrong and 1 was forgotten. Then 2 people have food and have to decide to eat or wait. The 4 meals came one at a time and were rushed...my crust was burnt but toppings under cooked. Hard to get drink refills as our waiter was out of sight most of the time. At the end waiter apologized again and offered 1 free desert. It should have been offered to the 4 people affected. We passed on the offer and went for ice cream else where. I hope it was just a bad night. Usually a great spot. Will give it another chance in a month
Great place to watch the Argentina-Canada football match.
Lily was probably the best server I ve had at a restaurant in Toronto. So attentive and considerate. Also lovely to talk to!
After finally making my way to Café Diplomatico in the heart of Little Italy, I can confidently say that this place is a must-visit. With its unique menu offering a wide variety of delicious Italian cuisine, there is something for everyone to enjoy. From the tempting beverages to the mouthwatering desserts that are simply to die for, this café has exceeded all expectations. Ive had Café Diplomatico on my list of places to try for quite some time, and I am thrilled that I finally had the opportunity to experience it. The atmosphere, the food, and the overall dining experience were all exceptional. I cant wait to return in the future and indulge in more of their delectable offerings.
Nothing finer than sharing pizza and a pitcher of beer on the outdoor patio watching a footie (soccer) game!
We came with a group of friends for the Copa America final. Our service was amazing! Let me give credit where credit is due. Jacob - our server, took care of a massive crowd. Excellent people skills. Service was quick and on point. The best spot for sports events! Prices are reasonable. Definitely will be back! Cant say enough about our experience!
Watched an Euro Cup game at their big patio, amazing atmosphere and food!
Cheaper food options are extremely no frills, bo sauce or toppings on steak sandwich just one piece of meat and bread, same for the BLT. Does the job. higher priced food did look very nice.
One of my favourites for Italian food
Good place to watch games and have coffee or drink .Wont recommend for food
Warranty..
Perfect place
A college street staple. Says it all.
The sandwich was good. The service and my server was absolutely gorgeous and she was extremely helpful
Great drinks. Good pizza. Excellent service
Atmosphere was very good with decent Italian food. Not the greatest, and our waiter wasn t the nicest guy in the world. Decent experience overall.
Where do I begin! Food was ok, service was ok, atomosphere was ok. We were four women at a table, what struck us the most is that the server also a women called us guys. When, using guys This is part of a larger structure of exclusion that women face. Its demeaning and disrespectful to the female gender. FYI, the word guys when referring to the female gender is politcally not correct in todays era of gender equality . I understand it has become a mainstream to call everyone guys, but girls, ladies & women, are not guys!
Since I was a child I wanted to go here. Took a longer time but I enjoyed it.
6 STARS FOR THE FOOD!!! Pizza to die for and rose pasta also to die for also the pasta specials slap too!
Great breakfast spot! With a nice patio.
The only issue is washrooms are in basement bad for seniors...tho very clean washrooms.
Amazing Very recommended Food
Classic Toronto spot to watch sports. The pizza is pretty good, even when reheated after takeout. Tiramisu was decent but didn t really like the carrot cake.
Absolutely delicious pasta, at ridiculously expensive prices. Even charged for water (a European custom, but still). Wonderful atmosphere
I recently visited this restaurant, expecting a great dining experience based on its reviews and popularity. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed. The pasta in Rose sauce tasted bland, with the pasta barely coated in any sauce. For $18, I expected much better quality and flavor. I found myself adding table shredded Parmesan just to give it some taste. The most disappointing dish was the Chicken Parm. The chicken cutlet was so dry and tough that it was almost impossible to chew. I had to send it back, only to receive a similarly poor replacement. As a chef, I understand the challenges of a busy kitchen, but this meal was far below acceptable standards. This visit was during the Italian fest, and if the restaurant cannot maintain quality during busy times, it might be better to limit service rather than serve subpar food.
Every time I ve gone, the food has been good
This is an excellent Italian restaurant. The food is very affordable, and tasty.
Its a nice place. The prices are reasonable. Lots of selections. The best part is the atmosphere. Its very nice and you can bring some friends to chill and talk.
yummy food, gr8 services, nice covered patio with huge screen to watch sport events
Nice place
Everything was ok. Above average. But not great.
Visited this cafe in Toronto and had an amazing time! The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and our waitress, Chantal, was an absolute delight. Her humor and attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for a great authentic Italian espresso and a good laugh!
This place is very nostalgic to me. Very affordable and amazing service. 5/5 definitely coming back here.
Trip down memory lane going here for lunch. I lived 2 streets down from here in my 20s. Happy to sew they have added gluten free items including this pizza. Really good crust!
We went back again for their amazing Tiramisu! Our all time favourite is sundried tomato with basil pasta
Thanks for the amazing dinner. We love it. Special thanks to our server CHANTEL(you rock) You helped us making the best pasta.
Great atmosphere, can be for a coffee and a snack on the go, can be for a big celebration.
It is always delicious. Its an iconic place in Toronto
i went to have dinner. I ate a panini nd then i had to share a pizza because i was hungry yet. The taste very well. But could be better. Food
Poor management, watered down beer.
Poor management. Horrible experience.
I just had one of the best sandwiches I ve ever ordered in Toronto. So good!
The service was amazing of course like everyone that has been here would know this and if anyone didnt get the good vibes when they visited the place maybe try it out again just go at a different time and also you all should be in the mood to hang out with friends there Im positive it will be a good time I love the place and I will miss going there. I am moving quite a long distance away so my spot there is up for grabs lol everyone check it out its a good place to save some memories with loved ones and friends Vegetarian options: There is what everyone wants
Very bad experience we got to the place and they set us up inside a storage room were all the staff was working around us, plates were dirty they served us pizza on dessert plates Italian restaurant and they didn t have olive oil on the table ..No Frills bread should be warmed up they should hire me to straighten up the place never again not even for free . Food is Terrible ..they rushed us to eat but they didn t take the time to set us on a descent table.
The only constant in my life is the dip
my favourite restaurant ever
Nice place in Little Italy. Friendly staff and good meals .
This is a very interesting place. As for me, it was like a visit some old Italian family for lunch at their place. The service is good, the location is perfect and the food is like a homefood coming from nonna s oven. Italian are very picky especially when it comes to a particular types of pizza, so it s amazing to have a possibility of creating your own. You also can choose the pasta types. My Italian partner was very satisfied with the lunch. They have a nice patio, so we came with a dog. They provided the water for our dog right away.
Great spot on a warm sunny day - the patio is perfect for all weather and the food is fresh and tasty. One of the must go to corners in the city
Cute place
This is a great spot in a great location! Lots of sun on the patio or shade if you prefer. The pizza here is spectacular! Also ordered spicy shrimp they were big, juicy, nippy and delicious. I m from the east end, beaches so it was nice to get venture to the west side for a taste of little Italy, some yummy delectables and a change of scenery. Would most definitely have given this spot 5 stars however the server I had served me in haste. She was flustered, unaccommodating and seemed to just be annoyed (and it was only 2:30pm) either with her job, me, her life idk but she was rude and I still tipped well! I was enjoying myself trying my best to ignore her snitty attitude, I also chatted with another server there casually as she was cleaning the table beside me very friendly, lovely gal! So it was just my luck lol nonetheless had myself a wonderful afternoon and this lovely spot!
Food is elite. Our server Gina was very patient and attentive. She had realized one of our orders wasn t correct as soon as it came out of the kitchen, before it got to our table. Coffee here is also spectacular
