Friendly service and great food. We brought our two kids and the waitress was lovely with them. The seasonal tomatoe salad was delicious and we really enjoyed all of our meals.

Campo is now our new go-to place for awesome food and beautiful atmosphere. Angela and Carlos are masters at their craft. Everything was exquisitely delicious, beautifully plated and served with a smile.

*sigh* Where do I even begin I brought my plus one here on a whim because I got good word from a work colleague of mine that this was the go to spot for fine dining on Jane, and let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. When I first arrived I was greeted by to kind hearted waitress, Lia and Ella, we felt completely at home with a nice vibe throughout the entire establishment. Now for the dining experience, their were an assortment of dishes to choose from including a special of the day menu, most looked delicious but we decided to indulge in some classic gnocchi and it did not disappoint, the wine choices and diff amaro showed the owner had a firm grip on the culture. Overall I really enjoyed my night there, and I would def come again, A1 customer service and A1 dining, there s nothing I appreciate more, so Thank you Campo for superb experience

Just an OK experience, but it didnt taste anything like Italian or Spanish cuisine. Definitely overpriced. The portions are small and overseasoned - the meat was too salty and gnocchi, too spicy. The only good thing was probably the chocolate cake. Food

Disappointment in customer service. Take a read... My friend celebrated her 30th birthday at Campo restaurant. For the occasion, I made a birthday cake, and upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a man (who I later found out was the owner), and asked him if it was possible to have the cake in the restaurant and if there was a cutting fee. He said it was no problem but that he didnt know the cutting fee. At the time I also mentioned to place any cutting fee on my bill, and as he was taking the cake, he mentioned to coordinate the cutting with the server. The dinner went on, and eventually we got to dessert. The server mentioned that the kitchen had started cutting the cake. Once we got the bill, everyone at the table was charged $5 (totalling $45 for the cutting fee, as there were nine of us). I told the server that I mentioned to the man for the fee to go on my bill, and had I known that it would cost $45, I wouldnt have cut the restaurant in the cake. I asked that everyone get reimbursed, because I didnt get permission from my friends to charge them, and this put me in an uncomfortable situation. She said that it was too late, so I requested to speak with the owner - surprise.. it was the man who greeted me at the front (and ironically, didnt know the price of cutting a cake in his own business). I asked him to reimburse everyone and why he didnt share with the server the details I specified, and he stated that it was my responsibility to coordinate the details, execution and pricing with the server. In hindsight, I do take responsibility for not being more deliberate in my ask and clarifying, but everything is more clear in hindsight. But, I do also think, as someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, that there is responsibility on the staff to communicate expectations and possibilities (i.e. could we have cut the cake ourselves to save costs? And how we wanted the cost to be distributed?). Then, I asked the owner to lower the cutting fee price to half the price ($20) to remedy the situation. He said, no problem. Then, he gave me the $45 in cash to reimburse my friends, and proceeded to give me a $40 cutting fee bill. I told him that I was disappointed that there was no consideration for the confusion and discomfort, so he proceeded to barter by saying, how about $30? You need to understand that because no one bought dessert here and that I have a business to run, that you need to pay. A comment like this coming from a restaurant owner is astonishing to me, and I left the restaurant paying for the cake that I made. I also would like to mention that the food quality was very good, but the portions are small. I was hungry after 3 hours again. You also cannot pay with Visa (only debit or cash). Sounds like complete frugality in my opinion. I certainly do not prefer bartering and advocating for what is right with a business owner. I also believe extreme frugality in the long run doesnt lead to success. Definitely not coming back, and please consider not bringing a cake.. youll end up paying for the cake you made (and while cutting fees are a standard practice in the industry, there are many places that will make an exception and even offer the birthday person a free item.. Ill be frequenting these places).

I was at Campo on Friday night. I dont normally do reviews but this place stood out. I had reserved for 8pm and i was with 2 of my friends. My first impression was wow. It was very busy and felt so locally driven. The owner Carlos came over directly and introduced himself and said welcome. Who does that anymore ??..I immediately felt like we were going to be taken care of. Once we were seated our server came over. I believe her name was Emily. She was so sweet. She didnt rush us and she made some recommendations for wine and suggested family style so we can try different things. We tried this platter of mushroom toast with chorizo and these olives of which i asked for more. Best olives I have ever tasted..Lobster mackeral salad was lovely fresh and light. A seafood pasta and bitter greens. The gnocci was to die for...My friends ate the beef cheek and they said never tasted meat so tender. Dessert came...the chocolate pudding salted caramel was sooo good and loved how it was presented i think a mason type jar. The servers suggestions and ...omg...the gnocci was to die for.. did i say that again. Lol.. Loved the front table. The atmosphere was amazing. The pricing was very fair...actually for the quality and experience. We are definately coming back. The server mentioned they have a patio in the summer so we are going to come back then for sure. Such a cool spot in the city and parking was so easy and free.

A little expensive, but the intimate atmosphere, friendly staff and incredible food make it more than worthwhile.

NY Eve 2024 take out dinner was well presented, even in take out dishes, good proportions and delicious food. Loved the navy bean accompaniment to Ontario lamb and yummy lemon tiramisu to finish. Cheers and hope to do this again.

Yummy pasta dishes with fresh ingredients. The service was attentive in this small restaurant setting. Only drawback is be prepared to pay by cash or debit. The restaurant does not take credit cards.

Unfortunately some of the food was overseasoned and some was underseasoned. The crudo had a very fishy taste and smell, which made me think it wasn t fresh.

We have lived in the neighborhood for 6 years and had never noticed this restaurant before this summer. Went there last month to celebrate a birthday, we tried almost everything on the menu and loved it! The place is not too big, so very intimate. Good service, super friendly waiters and delicious dishes. We are adding this little neighborhood restaurant to our favorites.

Campo is the perfect blend intimate amd sweet ambience and delicous food. It has been my favourite restaurant in the meighbourhood ever since we moved here!

Very overpriced for portions received. Additional $8 to make an already expensive (and small) antipasto plate a cheese plate and we literally got two bites of Manchego cheese. I can appreciative the small menu and the food was very tasty - I had the pasta carbonara- but it s hard to justify the huge bill + tip when the portions are so small. Also, I didn t see any entree options for vegetarians. Just a heads up.

Food was amazing! Easily the best paella I have ever had. I ve been here before and can with confidence say that I have not had one single bad item yet. Campo s food and vibe brings me back to the many meals / experiences that I have enjoyed in Europe. If you re looking for extremely refreshing spritz s (alcohol or non alcoholic) or cocktails this is the spot to be. They use top notch brands but do not charge top dollar. If you re a fan of amaro s then Campo is a must visit. They re an official amaro bar with so many choices you can t even get in the LCBO. I try a new one every time I go! They have brought forward European home cooking and turned it fancy and serve it with pure class! I wouldn t be surprised if you see them eventually get a Michelin star. Get in before the lineups are too long;)

A neighbourhood gem serving Italian and Spanish style cuisine. A family run restaurant that is truly amazing.and a must visit.

Stopped at Campo for a celebratory dinner. Atmosphere was quaint and charming. I d advise against sitting on the booth side as it was very uncomfortable. For appetizers we got the mushroom toast and burrata toast. The bread was outstanding, so fluffy and not as tough as most sourdoughs are. For mains we got the meatballs and gnocchi. Although both were good, I was not particularly impressed. Unfortunately the service is what lost us. Our waitress was nice, but she never introduced herself, never explained the specials to us, and we felt somewhat forgotten by her as she waited the tables around us. Also a warning, if you order sparkling water be prepared that it is salty. I really think this should be explained to people before they order it.

Had our first experience last night at this cozy, quaint restaurant. I say first because we will definitely be back! We shared several items from the menu! I wish I had remembered to take pictures! Some of the items ordered included the marinated olives, cured meats, handmade gnocchi, burrata, a dish with rabbit, pan con tomato, sea salt caramel budino. I know I havent remembered everything! Angela was amazing in explaining what each delicious dish entailed! Carlos has the most amazing collection of Amaro, which is an Italian after-dinner liquor. Both he and Angela went into great detail about some of the different types. They are sommeliers of Amaro...if there is such a thing! We sampled 3 different ones.....they tasted exactly how they were described! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Ugh, I really hate to leave poor reviews and especially when the services was so good but my date and I had a couple pasta dishes and they were so disappointing.

Honestly, I don t get the hype. First, we were seated at a table right by the kitchen, where everyone walks to get to the WC, even though there were plenty of better tables available. I had to ask to be seated at a nicer table (which seemed like no problem). Logically you would seat the best first and leave the second rate tables for later. Then, they brought me the wrong main. So they rushed through what I actually ordered. I got a seafood pasta. Well, what I got (wish I took a picture) was served on what seemed like a side plate someone brought from home (not the nice plates in the photos), there were some bits of unidentifiable seafood, a few micro shrimps, and a bunch of water on the plate under the pasta (not sauce, water). It reminded me of something made from leftovers at home when you have no time and have to empty out the fridge. The carpaccio starter was average and the desert was the only tasty thing we had. A real shame considering that it s a nice, cozy spot. The service was typical Toronto. You feel lucky just to get decent service. For the price, and as a person who myself is a restaurant owner, I would expect much more.

The gnocchi , baby gem and budino are my go to things to order. They never fail. Tried the carbonara and seafood pasta this time and loved it. The room is always so warm and the staff so friendly.

I had dinner here on Saturday with my wife. The service was so wonderful and the food top notch and thoughtful. The gnocchi is my favourite and the flavours of the beef cheek are so nostalgic for me. Loved the torta caprese to finish.

Very disappointing compared with our previous visits. Even thought the restaurant was next to empty, we had terrible service from the waitress. Orders were mixed up and her attitude was chilly at best. Quality of entrees was lacking. Doubt well return.

What an amazing meal we had from Campo Restaurant. This place is a little hidden gem in heart of the Baby Point area of Toronto. The food was superb and the customer service was splendid. I won a gift card from this restaurant at an auction and Angela(the manager) was so easy to communicate with and helped me expend my gift card. We ordered the CARBONARA, PAN SEARED TROUT, BURRATA & LOBSTER A LA CATALANA. It will be an understatement to say the food was Amazing. It was beyond my imagination. The salad that comes with the TROUT was so good and you can smell & taste the freshness in it and the CARBONARA is the best I have ever had. The pasta was al dante, not too dry, just perfect! The pesto that comes with the BURRATA I believe It was made fresh? Overall perfection! Thank you CAMPO for such a delicious threat and a standing ovation to the Chef as well. I cant wait to patronize again!

Not that big portions, while it is definitely not fine dining. Meatballs are a bit on the dry side. Overall food was OK. One of the takeout packages leaked through, while another one was quite tightly sealed - head scratching packaging logic.

Good food but dining in is probably a better option. Delivery portions are small and we were particularly disappointed with the Montadito order where we were given two tiny slices of manchego cheese that didn t come close to covering the slice of bread at all. Definitely expected more for a meal that ultimately cost us close to $100.

really yummy carbonara. wish they served lunch. dinner starts after 6 so kinda late since we are usually starving by that time. in my humbe opinion this the best bloor west restauraunt by far for sit down meals.

The menu isn t large and overwhelming, it s small and curated. We used google to make a reservation, but could have gone early. Just call. The restaurant is intimate but not tiny, the staff are casual, not stuffy. I was impressed with my gluten free appetizer, entree and dessert. Thanks James!

Great meal

Campo is my new favourite restaurant. My fiancé and I ordered takeout a few weeks ago, and it was delicious (especially the pan con tomate - such fresh tomato topped with Manchego cheese). And then we ordered their New Years Eve special menu - it was absolutely extraordinary. It was essentially a tasting menu that you would heat up yourself at home with their careful directions. We ate the meal over the course of about 3-4 hours. Favourite dishes from the special menu include the lobster with truffles and celeriac crema dish and the gnocchi with truffle fonduta and fresh white truffles. I am particularly picky with pasta, but this is probably the best gnocchi I have had in Toronto! The salad was excellent as well- blood orange with fennel, burrata, basil and pistacchio. Thank you to the chef for this beautifully thought out dinner - we so enjoyed ringing in the New Year with this treat of a meal. We are thrilled to have discovered this restaurant, and cant wait to order takeout again soon.

Love this place, been coming for years. Their pandemic formula knocks it out of the park: pictured here, the seafood Paella valenciana from this week s Valencia-themed dinner. Each Saturday night, a full menu for 2 showcasing the cuisine of a different region in Spain or Italy. We don t get to travel during COVID, but this is how I travel & discover (or re-live) in my plate! Contrary to most take outs, you don t eat it half cold, or even reheat - it comes with super easy instructions to *finish* the main dish in your oven while you savour the appetizers. Voilà, like a real date night in a restaurant. Check website weekly and order before Saturday. Service is awesome, really professional and friendly, it doesn t take long that they get to know you & treat you special . On the every day menu, agree with other reviews: their signature dish is the gnocchi, best I ve had, like little cloud puffs in your mouth. Explore the rest of the menu - very tasty and authentic.

Love this place. Space in intimate but even sitting at the bar is enjoyable as the staff there is super friendly. Yummy food and great atmosphere. We have ordered take out from them during the pandemic....it was amazing, same quality abs presentation you would get dining in.

Its not real Spanish food

I heard about this restaurant through a friend, and it did not disappoint. The head chef and owner is one of the most creative and talented chefs Ive ever seen. The way he mixes Spanish and Italian flavours to create a fusion is amazing. I would tell you what my favourite dish is, but I actually cant choose just one. Their weekly specials have been great, making cooking and planning super easy. The take-out is easy, quick and efficient, and the staff is super friendly. If youre looking for a top of the line restaurant at an affordable price, make sure you check Campo out. Oh, and make sure you try the Budino, that one is one of my favourite desserts!

Do yourself a favour and visit Campo restaurant! The menu always leaves something to be desired for your next visit. The food is a Spanish and Italian fusion which respects both cuisines. Ingredients are always fresh and the weekly specials always peak your interest. Staff are friendly and engaging. Pickup order have been a breeze and even chatted with the chef/owner a few times during the pandemic, really standout guy. Been coming here for several years and feel fortunate to have found this restaurant nestled in our neighbourhood.

Its COVID, were all sick of it. Do yourself a favour and get some take out from Campo. The ingredients were fresh and smartly chosen for take out, the staff were very knowledgeable about their product, when asked about a possible allergy and everything was outlined in easy to follow/minimal instructions for easy execution. This place is a Baby Point gem. Dont miss out!!

Amazing Italian cuisine experience! I loved everything I ate which is quite a feat! They have seasonal menus to keep things fresh and new. The staff was lovely and the space is small but cozy and intimate (a great date place!). We shared a few pastas and had dessert. We had an immaculate potato soup that was bursting in flavours and texture. The meatballs on polenta is a must try!

I had a lovely dinner last night at Campo with my parents for my birthday. We sat on the patio on what turned out to be a chilly night, but we re greeted with such warmth that we quickly forgot the weather. The food and service were sublime. The chefs and cooks make miracles out of that little kitchen. It was our first time here. We had the baby gem salad, the insalata siciliana, and the funghi sott olio as appetizers. My parents had the gnocchi and I had the meatballs as mains. Everything was clearly made of high quality ingredients and with care. We ended with the Tiramisu, which was also delicious. The service was so hospitable and warm. We will most definitely be returning.

Overall experience was just OK. Over priced for quality of food received. Gnocchi was tasty but portion size was small. Their pan bread was tasty even though the bread itself was burnt through. My dates white truffle pasta came out Luke warm hovering on cold. Being generous with the stars because waitress service was good and friendly. Overall it was a so so experience, but we cant recommend and probably wont return.

Campo is our local. The place that you know, that you trust. Wonderful people sharing wonderful food and drinks. Faithful to Italy and Spain but also bringing their own take. Highly recommended.

Loving attention to food and service is coupled here with great selections of custom artisan dishes. The locale is intimate with only a few tables and bar seating. Reservations are recommended, but worth it. Spanish and Italian inspired dishes bring unique regional elements in a heart-felt way. Fish selections are delicate and fresh. Pasta is house made and coupled with wonderful and flavourful meat and vegetable sauces, including insightful specials that deserve the name. The wine selection is excellent and pairings can be obtained from the knowledgable servers. Above all, perhaps, there is a passion in the staff for the food itself, making this an enjoyable experience to repeat and share with others.

This is hands down our favourite restaurant in the area! The ambiance of the restaurant is second to none. It has a cozy Italian and intimate feel. Delicious food, with a menu that is always changing and never lets you down.

April 2, 2020 -- Wonderful meal, by way of take out, because, you know. Gnocchi was delicious, also the Strozzapretti pasta. While not personally enjoyed by yours truly, pan seared trout was declared scrumptious. Thank you for keeping your doors open and feeding us while observing distancing precautions etc. Cannot wait to visit for a meal in.

Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere, still doing take out food and wine!

They said our order for Mother s Day would be ready at 11 (checked multiple times) we go all the way over there and then they said it ll be another hour. Meanwhile they had a ton of other packages ready which were identical. Why don t you just distribute them as people show up. We were delayed an hour and other people got cold food. If there were other people we d understand and wait our turn, but there was no one and we ordered a brunch package with no alterations. Will never order from here again.

I can t wait for restaurants to reopen. This is #1 on our list!

Really thoughtful and well executed Spanish food. My favourite neighbourhood restaurant. The lobster salad and pine nut tart are amazing and worth crossing town for. You will not be disappointed.

I Looked at there Espresso machine and tasted there cappuccino and was made perfect I had another one. Ofcourse I had to have a appetizer. Cant wait to go back with more friends and family. Amazing Staff. Grazie

Having to deal with a major holiday (Thanksgiving) in the year of COVID was anything but happy and thankful. So creative measures needed to be taken. Campo offered a complete take home Thanksgiving meal for 4. The menu offered an appetizer, fresh buns, organic butter, salad with dressing on the side, lamb shanks, roasted root vegetables, green bean and to finished off, soft almond cookies and tiramisu for dessert. The pickup was ready when planned, packaged well and had easy instructions. Once home, all that needed to be heated went into the oven appies, bread and butter was put out on the outside table, and at the appointed time the rest of the family joined us on ZOOM. We talked and ate our starters and made toasts happy to be together even as we were apart. After the ZOOM call ended we continued with our special Campo dinner. It was delicious, very fresh, thoughtfully combined, and tasty. Thank you Campo for helping us make Thanksgiving 2020 great!!

We needed a place for a business lunch in an area we did not know. Googled restaurant and took the chance. Food was great and much different than the usual fare we find for business lunches. A little inconvenient that they dont take credit cards.

The home made gnocchi alla romana is an absolute delight. The carbonara was also good. The serrano ham was a nice appetizer and the sea salt caramel budino was terrific.

Very nice lunch. Small and a bit deceiving from the curb, but great staff, coffee bar and atmosphere.

Campo is the perfect neighnorhood Italian restaurant. Reasonable prices for the quality. Service is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious. The wine selection is quite varied (.mostly Italian and Spanish, teasonably pricef). The gnocci made on the premises is to die for. Restaurant is busy, lots of good energy. Go. Enjoy.

Went for the wine dinner. It was amazing. Food was delicious and Jasmine was incredible. Knows exactly what shes talking about when it comes to wine and the service was great too

Good drinks, nice vibe

Came here for lunch with some friends as we had all heard nice things about this place. The service is amazing and very friendly. The wine list is great too, pricey but fits the venue. Our host recommended several shareable plates, all of which were just alright - nothing special. My friends had the gnocchi and some plates were cold and all of the gnocchi was overcooked, which they were disappointed by. I ordered the pan seared trout ($21 - not really worth it), which came barely seasoned (just some salt on top) and was undercooked. The salad it came with (literally just various greens) had a good amount of vinegar but was drenched in olive oil, which pooled on the plate and drenched the fish too. Drenching their food in olive oil seems to be a trend for this restaurant. All in all we were all kind of disappointed, as we had high hopes regarding the food, especially the gnocchi. Id go back for the wine and some coffee, but probably wouldnt get food.

Food and service is always outstanding

Cute local spot. Cozy atmosphere, super friendly staff, great wine, cocktails and fab non-alcoholic Italian style beverages. Most of the dishes are really great - the meatballs on polenta are delicious and so is the gnocchi. My only two complaints are as follows: 1) the menu never changes - sometimes it s good to switch things up, especially when you only have a handful of dishes on the menu and most of your clientele are neighbours who want to come back again and again. Not only does the dinner menu never seem to change but half of the brunch features are repeats of the lunch menu, which are repeats of dinner - everything is tasty but honestly it gets a bit boring to see the same menu forever and ever. Second and similar complaint is about the cheese plate. It s only ever ONE cheese - whether you order it for an appetizer or for desert, you ll get just the one cheese, always the same, it never rotates, it s the same one cheese day after day, month after month!

Such a great spot! The food was incredible, cocktails were delicious and the service was wonderful! Great for a date night or just a dinner out with friends! Definitely recommend and cant wait to go again! Thanks for a great night!

Unique neighborhood Spot

The place is busy and cozy. The food is delicious. It has a small menu. With portions on the smaller side but great flavours. It is a place I would be happy to go back to.

Went to Campo last week with friends. It is small and bustling to the point of being very noisey. Some dishes were good ... some mediocre. The seafood pasta, is described in great lengths on the menu, but one would be hard pressed to find any seafood except the tiniest shrimp at the bottom. The meatball entree and branzino are probably the best choices.

It is surprising to be rated so well The appetizer Conserva is not serious serving of open tin can with a fish as they claim straight from Spain. It is not very elegant and looks like fish can for a $2 from a store. Gnocchi I much better from many other places. Meatballs taste as made from poor meat selection. Yet for all of this the payment option is cash or debit only. Never seen a restaurant with such limited payment option. I travel a lot worldwide and never experienced such poor overpriced place and yet so overrated.

A lovely dining experience. Fantastic service, food, and drinks. Looking forward to returning.
