Eataly is more than a supermarket with restaurants. It has an energetic marketplace, restaurants and a cooking school where there are many opportunities to taste and take home the the highest quality Italian and local products at a fair price.
I did the private cooking class and it was an incredible experience. The chef was wonderful and knowledgeable, teaching us every step of the way and answering the groups many questions. Pasta making was fun, and the meal was delicious, as well as all the extra starters prepared ahead of time.
Went for lunch with a friend. Ate in one of the restaurant sections. Restaurant was nice but pretty noisy. Tile floors. Step up from the foodcourt type areas. Food was good. Could have used some sauce on arancinI. But they were tasty. Pasta could have been warmer. But overall good value and tasty.
Eataly is more than just a place to eat—it’s a cultural complex where you can explore beautifully designed interiors, shop for quality products, and discover new cultural experiences. I’ve always felt that Toronto lacks spaces like this, so visiting Eataly during my trip was one of the most memorable highlights. The food was a bit disappointing compared to my expectations, but I appreciated the freshness of the pasta and ingredients.
I went here for the desserts. They were fine, but didnt taste too sweet, which was great. Groceries were high end and unique, but a bit pricey. Most are quality products. Staff were nice as well. Prepared meals were convenient as well.
Went here recently with one of my best friends for the $25 menu special and it was absolutely worth it. The appetizers were flavourful and surprisingly filling. For the main we both got the mushroom & meat pizza and as you can see from the photo, the portions were incredible. I definitely ended up taking some home with no room for dessert due to how filling the 2 courses were. Would recommend for a nice dinner with friends!
Comprised of several restaurants, this spot is truly a marketplace for all things Italian. The tiramisu is the highlight, especially the lava-style version, which is simply beyond words—a perfect balance of moistness, sweetness, and a touch of bitterness. However, the other dishes are rather ordinary and don't quite stand out. A perk is the 2 hours of free parking if you spend over $50—just be sure to validate on Level C.
We LOVE Eataly! Food, drinks and service are consistently great! And all of the ingredients are so fresh! Thoroughly enjoyed the fried calamari, margarita pizza w/ burrata and fettuccine pasta w/ fresh black truffles
A vibrant, bustling market vibe with the option to sit and eat. Unfortunate for our table of 3 that there were almost no gluten-free or vegan options. I had the egg/sausage/potato pizza which was truly lovely. The only thing my vegan daughter could eat was the gnocchi (which ended up coming a full 15 min after our dishes as someone in the kitchen had dumped cheese on it). My gluten-intolerant husband had the egg/tomato/onion casserole with a side of sausage which was the only gluten-free item on the menu he could have. Flavours of their dishes was only OK and the bill was over $80 with no drinks or dessert. Spendy and definitely NOT a great choice for people with limited diets. Our waiter (shown in the video) was very sweet and gave us some beautiful pastries to make up for the delay in my daughter’s meal.
Service at both the front and table side were great! Servers really knew the menu and gave honest opinions. Everything was cooked PERFECTLY! Will definitely come back! Though the children using the restaurant as their personal musical theater was quite distracting-- and that is coming from a mom of 2 boys.. Wheelchair accessibility: Large aisles and open facing tables
A bit crowded and you have to hunt down seats but good buzz all around.
Ordered a lasagna dinner as a gift. It was ready on time for pickup but was burnt on the top and the noodles were hard. Not a nice present to give!! Still waiting for refund. Service
i have heard nothing but good reviews for eataly and after years decided to finally try it. i was seated at a rather unfortunate spot: right beside the hostess who seat everyone and apparently where they also allow ppl to park their baby carriages, the fauna around the tables looks really nice but the foliage was covering the table. the food was good but the portions are incredibly small for what you pay for. so unfortunately it felt very overhyped. everyone who works there is really nice and on top of everything. i would give the food low stars due to the small portions.
Bought a kale salad from the takeout on the ground floor. There was a salad container on display showing what you get in the salad. The actual salad was nothing like the display. Consisted of dried up kale leaves, dressing and bread crumbs. Eataly should be ashamed to sell this and such blatant misrepresentation. Complete rip off!!!!!
Vegetarian options: Pizza and pasta Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pizzas and pastas Food : 5/5 |
Waiter was a robot, no smile no interaction , the way he treated our table was rude , he was dismissive and seemed annoyed everything we said , honestly he ruined what could have been a really nice lunch
The downstairs café was a big disappointment! The service and coffee were below average, and both the matcha tea (which I couldn t drink at all) and the cappuccino (my second drink) were undrinkable. My friends also didn t enjoy their drinks. To make things worse, our large croissants were served on tiny coffee plates, almost causing them to fall. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with no desire to return to the downstairs café. I hope improvements are made so that the downstairs can reflect the same quality as the upstairs.
service is good, but pasta tasteless and so bad
I ordered medium well steak ,and it was too small (in 4 pieces)and over over overcooked .enjoy the vibe and atmosphere but don t order steak at all !! Parking: If you park in same building and dined in ,your parking will be free.
This was one of our favourite place for coffee since the time it has open , we till date visit this place 3-4 times a week but since two weeks we have repeated bad experience , temperature of the coffee served is not that hot , staff is busy on phones and rude , when we asked staff to clear the space so we can sit and have our coffee and sandwitch we were told they are busy right now . Today we ordered hot chocolate and the server spilled the hot chocolate all Over the cup and saucer and we ordered sandwitch which she burnt and this happened today at 3.30 pm .when we told her to change the cup she was rude and then was pointing us among her colleagues This incident happened at the cafeteria on ground level . I hope management can look on to this as like me lot of other people like going to Eataly but don t wanna have bad experience due to rude and ignorance staff .
Obnoxious and stupid overpriced
Friendly staff, lots of variety and great quality food. I liked the seating options available to pick up food to go instead of their sit down restaurants. Pricey but worth it - especially the gelato
New Eataly from Toronto Same nice ambiance but not as good cuisine The spaghetti I had were cut (?!@&$?!) and the tomato sauce felt like a mere can of cherry tomatoes with no seasoning Food : 2/5
Went over weekend with family? Loved the atmosphere as alwaus. Its a 5/5 everytime except this time had Gelto icecream which I found a bit subpar.
THIS FEELS LIKE A TOURIST TRAP IN ANY OF ITALYS HOT SPOTS...OVERPRICED, OVER RATED...I HAD A PIZZA SLICE ON MY LAST TRIP AND IT LACKED CHARACTER FOR $15/SLICE...THE ONLY REASON I KEEP COMING BACK IS THE PERE&FRANGIPANE CAKE . OTHERWISE NAH
Mostly good food. Found that the pizza slices horrible and over priced. Over cooked dry crust with lots of air holes. Good well priced affogato, but no decaf for some reason. Really good cannoli. Too packed during some times on the weekend.
Nice place with lots of Italian restaurants where everything looks delicious...Eataly is Italy, everything is delicious. I would gladly go back.
Lovely Italian grocery store on very pricey side! Also 4 restaurants inside.
The perfect spot for all finery of all things Italian. The offerings were amazing. The food and deli were next level and the take out was the perfect was to end a rainy night in Toronto Vegetarian options: Lots to choose from Dietary restrictions: The staff was very helpful with choosing sulphite free food.
Yah. Not open until 11 on Fridays. Just the pastry stand is at 10pm. Everyone is cleaning.
The food and atmosphere is great! Prices are very high and the service leaves much to be desired.
I went for a chai latte, I asked specifically for an out of milk on the order because I am lactose intolerant, after finishing my tea I felt heavy, they put regular milk on the tea On top of that the service was not the best, they asked if I wanted a mug for a dine-in and they gave me a paper cup. In general, the experience was disappointing and after a couple of hours I felt like I had food poisoned, not recommend it at all.
really delicious fresh food, staff are eager but can be loud given it gets quite busy
Had a group cooking class here. The chef was nice and patient. We had a nice buffet after. Great experience overall.
Long-time customers. Treated US family to lunch. Very good food, but super busy, and service wasnt up to Eatalys usual standards (server seemed unconcerned shed forgotten wine + app?)
Great quality products and variety. I feel that every time I go there is something new to try. Parking: There is paid parking in the building. Very convenient.
Best sliced pizza ever! Lots of food and dessert. Totally recommended
I am absolutely shocked and furious after visit to Eataly Bloor St. (TODAY 12.00) I ve been a loyal customer for years, visiting regularly with my family, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. The staff member at the meat section (short one) was outright rude and disrespectful not just to me, but to every customer in line. When I asked about an item, he answered rudely, and when I asked someone else for help, he mocked me by saying, She has problems with understanding, I already told her. Who talks to a customer like that? This man acted like he owns the place, speaking down to everyone as if he s above them. Even a boss would never talk to customers this way! Eataly is supposed to be about quality and great experiences, but this behavior completely ruined it for me. I expect better and demand action be taken to address this kind of treatment. Customers deserve respect!
The quality of this place has significantly declined. The security personnel are shady and creepy, and the staff lack knowledge and exhibit a consistently bad attitude. When I inquired about a product earlier today while shopping at the store, I spoke with two staff members who incorrectly insisted that it doesnt exist. This demonstrates a blatant lack of knowledge, as the product in question is quite common. Its bad enough that they sell overpriced items, but the fact that the staff are so uninformed is pathetic.
Nov2024 Modern urban take on an Italian marketplace which is one stop shop and dine venue part of a global chain of outlets. This particular chain has all the basic elements from the ground floor cafe to the 2nd level multi stlyle italian food purveyors. Admittedly the tourist draw is its main base which often makes the outlets crowded. The market is a rich source of high end quality products with plenty of informative displays and labelling. The service staff are highly trained and knowledgeable but are often swamped with customer inquiries and requests. Lota of interesting finds. This particular outlet is comparably tight and has a lower capacity. Ideal to go during lean hours or days if you wish to have a leisure and relaxing pace. Vegetarian options: Varied choices and outlets Kid-friendliness: Varied menus but cramped spaces Wheelchair accessibility: Very cramped areas
Good comfy dining. Good choices.
Such a lovely place to shop and dine. Is a genuine attempt at bringing Italy to Toronto. Food is freshly made and delicious - albeit not 100% true or authentic to what you get in Italy. The vibe, sights, and smells are what make this such a lovely spot in the heart of Toronto. A wonderful, all-around experience.
I was there Sunday night the food was disgusting the pasta was so bad they say its an Italian recipe but it has nothing to do with Italian pasta ,The mussel dish was bad too. they are cheating customers by serving this food I will never go again
Great food and service. Very busy with the accompanying level of noise. I especially like browsing the products and seeing all the different restaurants.
No wonder its crowded: its the best!
The portion of our 30$ pasta was the most disappointing thing ever, the guy who made the fettuccine knew he messed the portions in one of the plate but didn t do anything to fix it. He just asked which ones do you guys want to pick which clearly means he knew the portion was bad. The taste of the food is way too bad read all the reviews and was so excited but so so so so so disappointed with the whole experience.
Great on-site food and all your Italian favorites
Its about 30$ for an appetizer sized main course and alcohol is served in half portions. Not worth it.
Love love love this place brings a great sense of Italy to the city. It s perfect for restaurants, Italian products and classes.
Pastry in the cafeteria was not fresh. Coffee was good
Very disappointing experience ! When we arrived they told us that we are welcome sit and order but they are closing in an hour so we had to be quick. It is never taking us more than 10 minutes to eat and it was just the two of us so we decided to stay. They gave us the menu right away and waited for us to order before we even had the time to read it ! I told the waitress we need a minute and in that minute the waitress came twice and then the manager (or supervisor?) came as well to tell us that we have to order right away. They were rude and disrespectful . I don t understand why they let us sit if they don t even have 5 minutes for us to read the menu. Anyway the food came and the ravioli was way undercooked and gave us stomach ache. We sat at 10:00 and left at 10:18 . Never going there again, they lack in customer service and quality of the product .
This grocery store is truly relaxing. They have great food and ambience. Must visit in Toronto
Music sucks
You get what you pay for.. not cheap but great quality .,
The atmosphere, products, and decoration are amazing
Beautiful interior and food selections. Especially Lots of sweets even makes you feel better by looking at them... Food
An incredible experience I highly recommend to all.
We went to the Eataly Holiday Market at the Distillery Winter Village and Chloe served us a piped-to-order cannoli that was so delicious!! Chloe was very nice, helpful, and made our experience spectacular!!
We paid $60 for 2 sandwiches, 2 croissants, 2 cups of tea and a pie The salmon sandwich was okay, but definitely wasn t worth $15 The salami sandwich was too salty The cream croissant was so sweet and heavy on cream that we had to squeeze it out to be able to eat it The chocolate croissant was cold and didn t seem to be fresh Overall, we didn t feel like this meal was worth $60 . However, the lady at the counter was really helpful and nice
Love this place! Great food & good drinks! Love the vibe!
Pretty average Italian fare. Nice spot to grab a bite while shopping for great quality ingredients.
So my wife and I decided to have dinner here. Ordered bruschetta advised sold out Sunday night, really.... 2 glasses of wine 38 dollars ordered bread arrived nice and cold what no ovens. Panchetta ravioli they were good all 14 of them. Then some random dude standing behind us talking about smashing the window, security arrived, escorted him out. All in all 100 dollar bill will not return .
All time fav, tiramisu is to die for
I can spend all day here
Great Italian shop where you can find groceries, kitchen supplies, and ready made food. The restaurant is lovely but crowded. The coffee shop is nice. The food and grocery selection is great. A bit expensive, but worth it. You can find many things you wouldnt in other places. The downtown location is busy, but they have others around, so go to the one you feel more comfortable with.
I have a lot of food allergies, so it takes me a bit to figure out what I can eat and not eat. But I love coming here. Your tote bags are so adorable I want them all.
Amazing atmosphere and food
This is the Center of Gravity of Toronto
Great food and service. A bit too noisy as ambience is cafeteria style.
Quite a bit disappointed experience with Eataly. My first time visit with a friend to dine at Eataly, arrive at around 7:30pm first we saw La Piazza di, checked the menu. Then we remembered there should be another one as well, so we went to La Pizza & La Pasta. Thought they have more options to choose from, so we want to get a seat here instead. The receptionist was serving someone infront of us with a very nice friendly attitude. But when it comes to our turn, the attitude and vibe that I m getting from her changed 360 degree.. it s like she thinks we can t afford to eat here tho we got into the waitlist and was told to wait for 15 mins, I just doesn t feel right at all from the vibe that I got from her but not wanting to ruined the night so we just went back to La Piazza di. Nice receptionist, still need to wait for 15mins but it s fine at least finally feeling respected from her. Food are ok. Loved the Tiramisu as usual. This is not my first time to encounter something like this as an Asian, or maybe I didn t dress up like those rich Asian? Please train your staff properly, to respect each and every customer that comes into the store. Thanks.
Amazing place, one stop shopping/visit for a wonderful Italian experience. Such great ambiance.
The place is busy and crowded most of the time. Could do with better acoustics and ventilation. Came for dinner once and it was de ent. Got the Cacio e Pepe. Like the bread but if you are gluten intolerant your tummy is gonna go puff. Thought the grains are from Italy but not sure ... My go to for straciatella cheese though prices have gone up at least 30% within 3 years Extensive wine selection including biodynamic wines but quite a markup. Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: Confirm but no guarantee Parking: You will have to find it Kid-friendliness: Sure Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Whenever I travel and there is Eataly in the city, I usually visit. However, in Toronto the experience was terrible. I ordered a carbonara. Ive never eaten anything so salty in my life, I even felt sick. Horrible experience
Traditional Italian store with several small restaurants inside as well as high quality Italian products. I recommend Pizza al Taglio.
While the atmosphere is something to see and selection of foods outstanding the cost of groceries is simply outrageous. I am not sure who can afford to shop there.
Cold pizza. Unacceptable.
Disappointing Experience!! We recently had lunch at this restaurant and, unfortunately, it wasn t a positive experience. We ordered two pastas and a pizza, but the timing of the service was poor: the pizza arrived a full 30 minutes before the pastas. The person who ordered the pizza had already finished by the time the pastas finally arrived, which made the experience uncomfortable and frustrating. Additionally, the service didn t help improve things the waitress was rather cold and didn t even smile once. If you re on a tight schedule or have specific timing to keep, this is definitely not the place for you. NOT EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE, BUT AT WHAT PRICE?!
Pricy but delicious!
I was doubtful of getting a pure vegetarian (no meat, no egg, no broth) option. To my surprise, the waitress not only guided with menu but showed readiness to customise their menu items that suits us. She served well, food was delicious and presentable. We (me & my wife) enjoyed with good memories. Vegetarian options: They are ready to listen and customise their menu items that suits your needs. Dietary restrictions: They are ready to listen and customise their menu items that suits your needs. Kid-friendliness: It s kid-friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible
The best place.. In Yorkville.. ...
Upscale Italian market style restaurant. Theres also a cafe, bakery, grocery store.
First visited this spot when it just opened in 2019. Recently stopped by to get some treats, and it seems like its still going strong. Same crowds and bustling vibe, same fancy offerings at high prices, same tasty cakes and pastries.
We tried two restaurants at Eataly last night. 1. First one was Milano, this is their beef tartar. It was brown. Asked the waiter, waiter told me the chef said it s oxidation from the beef and they can make me another one but it will be the same. We are talking about raw beef here. If it s oxidized, you cut it off. Oxidized beef should not be served raw, common sense. The waiter did take the price off our bill, but this is an unpleasant experience regardless. 2. Then we tried pizza&pasta restaurant, fried seafood dish was $29 and if you want a dip it s extra $3. Tiny dish, we had 2 shrimps in it and tiny tiny calamari pieces. Most dishes we tried were lack of flavour and the seafoods did not taste fresh (oysters and mussels). I understand this is not a fine dining place but please make sure your food is actually fresh? 3. Service was not delivered with enthusiasm at pizza&pasta area and we had 5 different people bring our food, everyone looked stressed and worn out. I don t know who s managing and paying these people but you are not taking care of your employees. Overall, disappointed and will not return.
Visited twice during a long weekend visiting Toronto and both times it was fantastic!
Always a fantastic experience. Whether grabbing a bite at one of the restaurants, a coffee or groceries this store has everything youll need. High quality and great service always brings me back.
Cappuccino Viennese is the best cappuccino Ive had so far
Great experience for Italian food and culture that emphasizes the importance of quality ingredients and atmosphere.
I never had a positive experience with eataly. Last time I had dinner there, the pasta was extremely salty. When I told waitress about it, I didn t even get any apologies. The tiramisu was not satisfying and overpriced. I even tried its too good too go. It was definitely not still good to eat . The salami was significantly discolored, speck had mold on it, and cheese was spoiled. I ll never go there again.
One love Everything is perfect. The atmosphere, people, and meals are excellent! Food
Italy
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian pasta and pizza options (not vegan, vegetarian) Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta options
Today I asked for pistachio latte. I was the worst that I had. The latte had coffee residue!!!
Delicious but so small main dishes, you have to eat two main dishes to be full.
There was parts of glass INSIDE their so famous tiramisu, please be careful of what you re eating bc food quality is a concern in this place.
A wonderful place to enjoy all things italian Parking: Congestion for those driving cars Food : 3/5 |
Exceptional choices of Italian food
The food at the restaurant was overall Dispointed. On the positive side, the waitstaff were friendly and displayed good manners. -Too salty overall. -The meatballs were overcooked and had a bitter taste, possibly due to old deep-frying oil. -The scallops had a strong fishy odor and an unpleasant texture, likely because they were frozen.(The rice porridge lacked character and normal) -The pasta was undercooked and overly salty. While it might have been handmade, it tasted more like instant noodles. BUT Supermarket products look fresh and clean.
If you want to eat decent Italian food in what feels like a mall then go for it.
Everything I had here was delicious! The market had wide variety of interesting selections. Everyone was very helpful.
Was really disappointed with the quality of the meal compared to its price. Two simple dishes and a medium sized sparkling water, should not come with a tab of 80 dollars. The calamari had more zucchini mixed in with the calamari and the 2 shrimp (the cheap zucchini bulks it up ), and no tartar or any kind of sauce, just a miniscule slice of lemon. Paying 29 for a plate of breaded zucchini, calamari and the odd shrimp, is not justified. This meal shouldnt cost more than 19-20 dollars. The other persons dish of mussels was OK, but again mussels are cheap, and the 80 dollar cost with tip dollar cost is unjustified. Will not be eating there again. So many other better quality dishes at far less pricey restaurants.
The store is a foodie heaven but the food is over rated. We were 6 people who all ordered different dishes. Each one was disappointing. One glass of wine, a simple pasta dish and half a shared dessert was $61. This would be ok if the food was excellent but it is mediocre at best. My ravioli was tasteless and a very small portion. Come on Eataly, you can do better! Even the Kirkland raviolis are so much better than yours! Parking: Big underground garage Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible but no special attention paid to our guest who needed assistance until we had to pressure staff to let him sit down at our already empty table.,
Very rude staff in the first floor Cafe who are very disrespectful to the customer. Also dont give receipt. Avoid!
Excellent Italian food. Above all true
Excellent experience at Eataly! Maria T was an outstanding waitress friendly, kind, and attentive throughout the meal. The food was amazing, making it a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend!
Great place, my husband and I did our day-date over there this week, and it was really nice. (We arrived there around 12pm and it was almost empty, but by 1pm it got packed). The food was pretty good, the server was sweet and nice, they have only italian-made drinks there (we took Italian version Coke and some orange soda) unfortunately we didnt like them. We also decided to not stay in the restaurant for dessert, but to go to a different area in the store where we could choose a few different mini version of desserts. We took a tiramisu cup and four dessert bites (chocolate cake, pastry with a pistachio cream, a version of a tiramisu in a pastry, and a pastry sandwich with a vanilla cream), My husband really liked the chocolate cake (and he doesnt love chocolate so that means a lot!!), Im unfortunately found myself not liking any of the desserts, the pastries was too meh, the chocolate cake was too dense, and the one with the cream was so sweet you can actually feel the sugars grains. And the most disappointing of all was the tiramisu cup. Which I dont know how long it was on display but when I got it, the powder on top become crusted (horrible!) and they put way too much cream and not enough soaking sponge thats supposed to be there. Anyway, overall that was a very nice experience, we liked to travel inside the store and we enjoyed one of the restaurants with choose. And we will probably go there again to try a different restaurant (they have five areas.)
Wonderful place
it is a nice grocery shop in a good neighborhood but the price is ridiculously ridiculous. is expensive they sell over Price the same item you can buy from Whole Foods or Longos way cheaper
I ve had a few experiences here over the past couple years and I guess I m going to be honest. For how expensive it is and yes it is. They could be better with service and a more guest focused approach. My partner and I like to eat here and then grab some items to take home and I find just the staff to be completely ambivalent and it s not pleasant. They can t answer questions accurately or are even willing to try. The food is good, we have eaten at both restaurants. However, I think the service here is poor and it just does not sit well with me. So it s it a great store for buying imported and speciality foods? Yes. Is the food at the restaurants good? Yes. Is it a good customer/service experience? No. There is work to be done.
Masih is amazing the best service
I d love to have something to say about the food, but I couldn t order. It says everywhere that the restaurant closes at 11pm. I arrived at 9:45pm and they tolde me that I d have only 5 minutes to order or eating there was not an option. I also had a waitress turning her back on us bad customer services, unpleasant place.
The courses were served out of order and when they came they were cold. Cold carbonara pasta isnt good. The pizza had been cooked enough to melt the cheese then the prosciutto and arugula were added after that. So it was barely room temperature and hard to separate the slices. The salad was good.
The dish was light and delicious with the natural taste of tomatoes coming through. Calamari were okey.
Very nice experience, the raw fish were excellent. We want to buy everything because everything looks so good!
A unique and sophisticated restaurant. A pleasure for the eyes and a pleasure for the mouth too.
Had great service at the Cafe at Eataly from a barista named Rinat. She was very friendly, informed and made our experience lovely. Thank you Rinat!
Huge shopping center with an Italian vocation. Possibility of finding everything related to Italy at the culinary level in this place. Good restaurants too and great selection of products.
Tasty food, nice environment.
I love their tiramisu and Panna cotta
I originally came to this place with the intention of visiting scenic spots. It turned out to be just a high-end food market in the area. I personally dont think it is anything special. I just feel that the traffic here is quite busy. If you are driving, it is recommended to choose a parking place in advance. , because in addition to Manulife Center, finding parking is also quite nerve-wracking.
The Atmosphere was great as always but I had a pastry that after we ate it we realized it had rum in it. So be careful about what you are ordering here
Over repeated visits the food is unfailingly fresh and almost perfectly prepared. Classic Italian dishes in a polished food hall environment. Loud with mixed service, generally quick but not attentive ( they re usually really busy).
Plenty to taste all varieties
Excellent product, service, ambiance and reasonable price.
Fantastic place for all occasions!
I had an early supper at Eataly at Bay and Bloor, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The highlight of my visit was the exceptional service provided by Gizem, my waitress. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout my meal. Gizem patiently helped me navigate the menu and made an excellent recommendation the halibut, which turned out to be the perfect choice. Her warm and genuine approach made the experience even more enjoyable. Gizem s knowledge of the menu and thoughtful suggestions truly elevated my dining experience. From start to finish, her service was outstanding, and I couldn t have asked for a better evening. Thank you, Gizem, for making my visit to Eataly so memorable! Highly recommend this spot for great food and amazing service.
Pricy but food was great
Eataly is a great place to go for a coffee and pastries, a meal or just ice cream. They have something for everyone. Sometimes the place is packed and very difficult to find a table, Prices are somehow on the higher end, but the quality matches it. Its worth visiting at least once.
Is a cool place to check out and the price is not bad at that locations. Definitely a place I will go again if I some Italian food.
Good for groceries. The restaurants have a quite subpar service. Anywhere in Italy you can order pasta bianca for your kids, but not in Eataly. They would not change the spaghetti pomodoro for spaghetti with butter or olive for your toddler, or offer gnocchi with butter or olive oil. Very far from Italian culture and attitude. Prefer Terroni for good pasta and excellent service.
Rupinder at the checkout counter was super nice and welcoming. He made our day and we will be back!
Love this place as usual! We went to La Pizza and La Pasta, and I will always order the bucatini cacio e pepe. Perfect with a glass of white wine. My partner ordered the quattro formaggi ravioli & enjoyed it. Not pictured, but we also shared some risotto balls and they were a perfect appetizer portion for two. Our waitress was being trained at for time and was sometimes a bit slow, but did well overall - her trainer was fantastic! Can t wait to come back!
Great shopping experience!
Great, unique market and location. Had a business meal here. The service was quick and friendly. Unique experience getting to see pizzas being put together and cooked. All food was excellent - high quality, fresh ingredients. Will be back! Food : 4/5
