We had a group reservation here which we made on OpenTable, The process was simple. The restaurant is pretty spacious and they can accommodate corporate or larger groups They had a promotional 10% off discount for cinema ticket holders, or a prix fixe menu for $99 We got the stracciatella with charred sourdough bread, Bucatini Al Ragu Mushroom Pizza, and Ravioli di Zucca for 4 to share. Overall, everything was yummy, just some minor comments: the sourdough was a little too charred for me, it tasted burnt, and the mushroom pizza was overpowered by the pickled onions (or something else??). My personal favourite was the ravioli, which came with candied walnuts. The service was super attentive and friendly, they were also careful since we had an allergy in the group. Restrooms are clean. Prices are reasonable.
Fantastic weekend dinner experience.😀Cozy atmosphere, exceptional service, and outstanding cuisine. Zucchini friti, POLLO PICCANTE, and signature tiramisu stole the show. Drinks were the only slight misstep (bit too bitter). Can't recommend this hidden gem enough! Looking forward to our next visit.
We were a group of 4 for dinner. It was spectacular. Drinks were crafted to perfection and apps (zucchini friti and calamari) were served hot and delicious. Each pizza was delectable and dessert did not disappoint. The service was amazing. One of our guests had allergies and Figo made she she was taken care of. Johnathan is the real deal and ensured we had a beautiful experience. Won’t be long before we are back. Figo is a hidden gem! -Doreen
Figo provided an exceptional vegetarian dining experience! The Bianca Zucchini pizza, Agnolotti al Mas (truffle pasta), and Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe were all outstanding. The tiramisu was a perfect sweet finish. Our server, Michael, was incredibly helpful, explaining all our vegetarian options in detail, making the experience even better. A flawless 10/10 meal!
Figo restaurant is a great choice for both group celebratory dinners as well as couple dates. Food quality is excellent with authentic Italian dishes made using fresh ingredients. Their fixed price menu for groups of 10+ persons is actually great value for money ($99 without taxes and drinks) considering the high quality of food, multiple courses, attentive service and pleasant ambience. Strongly recommend this gem in downtown Toronto!!
Selected for its perfect location halfway between our hotel and the concert...and due to rather late planning one of the few places we could get a reservation...🤷♀️ But I will tell everyone about this meal, the staff, the atmosphere... We opted for the prix fix menu (largely because it cuts down on decision making and, while I'd previously not considered it this way before, a big help for folks with disabilities that make decision making challenging) and shared the Stracciatella for antipasti. The flavours all balanced out well with sweetness from the orange blossom honey, salt, and the char on the sourdough providing a journey in each bit. I'd have absolutely gorged myself on this. For Primi I thoroughly enjoyed the best pasta since Italy with the Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe. The creaminess of the pasta was rich without being too much. Flavours of the pecorino, parmesan, and black pepper married perfectly without any one element being off balance. Parker had the Diavolo pizza and added chili oil because he likes things 🔥🌶️. The Tiramisu rivaled one I enjoyed in Bologna and that was a beautiful thing. Parker was giddy with enjoyment of his affogato - presentation was spot on. As a lover of cocktails, it's often incredibly difficult to pick one and I generally ask what the house recommends. I love hearing what our servers enjoy and why and in the end we went with Tony's recommendation of the Appassionato for myself, a sweet and fruity marshmallow of a cocktail that offered a bit of a French twist to the meal with a sweet aperitif vs a more traditional Italian bitter like Aperol. Parker's selection was the Gambino, providing him with a smokier whiskey forward Negroni. A perfect choice for him. Thank you to the folks at Figo for a delicious experience. Sunny, Tony, and Jonathan made our front of house experience memorable and to the line - I'd happily call you out by name too - it was a beautiful meal.
I went with a couple of friends for dinner and it was really good. We got a pizza to share and I got a pasta for myself. The pizza was thin and crispy with lots of flavor and the pasta was fresh. I really liked it. I don't know how much our bill was because my friends refused to let me pay so I can't comment on the price lol
We had a phenomenal time at Figo. The drinks and food were amazing!! The bartender Harry and chef Nick truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great meal. We had a couple of (delicious!) French martini’s and the Rosa italiano. Favourite appetizers were the carpaccio and prosciutto. The bucatini ragu, chicken, and salsiccia pizza were mouthwateringly good - we kept dipping our pizza crust in the sauce that the chicken came in. The tiramisu was very coffee flavoured which we all loved. 10/10 would come again and highly highly recommend!
The appetizers were good. However, they cant handle a group of people. We went for the companys lunch, not a huge group, 12 people. It started okay, but after serving us appetizers, servers were nowhere to be found. No one came by to ask if we needed anything, any drinks...and we waited for almost an hour to start getting the rest of our meals. It ended up with plastic containers packed food and packed desert, and I had to order a coffee from a person cleaning tables as servers or manager were nowhere to be found. The place completely emptied by the time we were served desert in a to go containers. So, bottom line, in 3 hours, they were not able to serve a group of 12. Great way to show a customer how they dont care. I dont think Id be back even solo as I cant support such treatment of guests.
Served an alcoholic drink when ordered a mocktail. Reached out to management but ignored.
Absolutely love this place! We frequently visit Figo & decided to book it for our parents for their anniversary, I called in to request and make them feel special- they confirmed that they will send a dessert with birthday candle, but didn t give that! Moreover we asked for a good table, they dint take care of that either. They were after all very happy with food and atmosphere, but I just wanted to highlight this small thing which was a miss from a customer service perspective.
Disappointed
Became too loud too quickly. did not have soup. what restaurant doesnt have soup? Pizza had no sauce and the mushrooms were just plain and too many. the service was great though
Everything very tasty, wine, dish, dessert and coffee Excellent service
David helped make our night out a great evening. Very helpful, courteous also offered to hold our leftover pizza till after our show. We would highly recommend figo for awesome dinner, atmosphere and David as our server.
Beautiful atmosphere with the greatest employees. Looking to book a holiday party for a corporate event? Look no further! They will take care of you and more! Thank you Julie and David just to mention a couple names :)
Great atmosphere, unique drinks, tasty dishes and friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back again!
Music was a little bit loud but food and service was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful experience at Figo. The service is exemplary, food was excellent and atmosphere is very cool with an upmost chill vibe. Recommend it 100%
Awesome Italian restaurant with delicious food. Pasta is really different from what you might expect. Caffè is also ok. Food : 5/5
Amazing restaurant with delicious food. Kind service and a beautiful ambient.
Figo is a gem of an Italian restaurant. Fresh pasta, original dishes, great ambiance and staff. A great neighborhood restaurant. On my top list of lunch venues.
Wish it wasnt just one big open room. As much as its great for light, it can get very loud! Food and service are awesome!
Server most untattentive. Drove all the way from Ajax just for the zucchini fritti which I had a month before. It did not taste the same but was okay. Come here if you want to be ignored by your server. Mind you I was the only guest in the restaurant. Still hd to wait and be ignored by my server that the HOST ended up cashing me out while the server was gossiping behind the bar with his colleague.
The pizza at this Italian restaurant is incredible thin, crispy crust with fresh, flavorful toppings that truly taste authentic!
Deli italian food !! Great prices and excellent staff, very cute place so so cute. Perfect for a date night.
PHENOMENAL chocolate torte (when heated at home). I would go back solely for this. Try heating it up at home n adding the cream on top later - NEXT LEVEL!!!!!
Delish octopus
SPECTACULAR ITALIAN DINNER!!! Gluten free options Accesible Great cocktails Amazinf fresh pizza Recomend the chicken
Gorgeous restaurant with the potential to be a go-to spot because the food was also very food but the service was just SO BAD. Took 20 minutes to even get a drink order and over an hour to receive our dinner and no one checked on us until we asked for the bill even though we wanted more drinks. Would recommend going on a less busy day if you go (not a weekend)
We stopped here on a whim and were blown away by the whole experience. The service was excellent, the manager and servers were very kind and made us feel like we were being taken care of. My friend and I shared the prosciutto, arugula, and balsamic pizza and their cacio e pepe and both were excellent. I had the hibiscus fizz mocktail and it was also delicious. The design of the space and their menus was just gorgeous. Definitely recommend stopping in here. The price is extremely reasonable for the calibre of the food.
Good Italian restaurant. Grilled sourdough bread is unique appetizer to try with wine. Food
Great patio spot in the summer for a nice dinner. Service was good and fast. The appasionata cocktail was one of the best drinks Ive had in Toronto and the food was amazing as well!
Excellent food, great wine list. Very friendly staff.
Overall, this was a great place to share food with friends! Loved the service and atmosphere. The zucchini fritti and tiramisu stood out.
Stunning place, food is good service was nice
Like the fried zucchini!! Pizza are great too
The most delicious food in Canada today at an affordable price. The carpaccio is excellent with a range of flavors and the truffle rivioli is a blast
My server Johnny made the experience!! Love this place
I recently attended a private event at Figo, and it reminded me why I loved this place. It s been a while since I dined here, but everything ambiance, food, and service was absolutely top-notch. The zucchini fritti was as incredible as I remembered. Although the menu was simplified for the event, the quality of the food was outstanding. I can t wait to return soon to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend!
Visited for the first time about a week ago, my only disappointment is that I had never heard of this restaurant before. The atmosphere is really cool, our server was amazing and the food....wow, next level! Highly recommend the beef carpaccio, Strachiatella and the pizza! Looking for a reason to be downtown again soon so we can visit again. Excellent!
burnt food, long wait, veggies were not fresh not worth the price Food : 1/5
The food was really tasty and fresh, the service is also on point. The staff offered to charge my phone that was kind. The waitress Samantha deserves a 5
Update: went back for lunch yesterday Aug 22, with a large groups of 8 ppl. Our waiter was amazing, one of the best ever! He was very courteous and on the ball. He made some stellar recommendations and provided amazing service. We started with some Apps, zucchini Fritti, calamari, beef carpaccio and more. I had the boar pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the apps in IMO are the best, I could just eat the zucchini and calamari as a meal. As a result I am changing my prior review of 2 stars to 5 stars. Have eaten here many times as its close to our office, we take clients here often. We took clients here for lunch yesterday (Sept 12) and at first service was good and appetizer came out quickly and it was very good - Fried Zucchini. We ordered our main dishes - Rigatoni with Vodka sauce - this was amazing, Kale salad was good, margarita Pizza was very good and the wild boar pasta - also very good. The issue was not the food at all, it was all very good. All the mains arrived except the wild Boar pasta, we ate all the other mains and never saw our waiter, we finally flagged him down and he brushed it off saying it was coming (it clearly wasnt as it was min 15 mins already since other dishes arrived). when it finally arrived 15 mins later (now 30 mins since other mains arrived) there was no apology just an excuse about the computer and kitchen being busy. There was also nothing done on the bill to compensate for the poor service.
Food was great and service was exceptional! Will be coming back for the stracciatella especially
Love the pizza
Beautiful restaurant with impeccable service and delicious food
I dont usually leave negative reviews on the internet for restaurants. But I just had one of my worst experiences at this place, we ordered food, we waited more than 45 minutes without complaining, nobody came to take care of us, our food never arrived. I pointed this out to the waiter, only to be told that the food was still not ready. So we waited for almost an hour and ended up not eating, and nobody cared. The restaurant manager didnt even come to apologize, its just disgraceful!
It took an hour to get our mains that were below average. Would not recommend. Overpriced, slow service and the food wasnt good
We had a great time at Figo restaurant - went for my birthday and would go again! The food was amazing and our server Darren was super attentive, and suggested the mango sorbet. Loved the spaghetti - tomato sauce was fresh and they accommodated my brother s allergies. Recommend the Bucatini and the calamari - both good. Ambience and location 10/10
The service was great, but we could only get seats on the patio, and it was colder than expected, but still worth a visit Wheelchair accessibility: This is fully accessible, with just a couple of door lips to watch out for
Here is my review from last night. The review below was from the year before when I had a fantastic 5 star experience. Yesterday; I arrived with my party of 4 and we were seated promptly. The server was ok....introduced themselves but did not engage in any conversation or do anything to make us feel special. Maybe because it was so loud inside the restaurant. We ordered 2 salads and 4 entrees. The salads and two of the entrees arrived and we ate them happily. After these were consumed and the server started to clear all of our plates (20 mins later) we waited for the other two entrees to arrive....nothing. When we asked the server if the last two entrees were on the way they indicated that the entrees were on their way.... but we saw the server rush over to enter them into the computer and then to the kitchen to presumably request a rush order. I would way rather that the server admit they forgot the last two entrees and apologize versus pretending that the food was already on its way. Of the two entrees we finally received, one was good but the other was way overcooked and awful - likely because of the rush order. Disappointed with this experience in light of the amazing meal and service my same group of 4 had just one year ago. One year ago; The food was excellent tonight. We had pizzas, pastas and fish. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service tonight was outstanding. Great people and a nice atmosphere. Thanks for a great night out.
Must try Spaghetti Pomodoro. Super delicious and flavourful sauce and pasta cooked to perfection.
Everything was excellent !! Beef carpaccio is the greatest I had! and the fried zuchini were incroyable ! Wow
I guess I just dont like Italian pizza!
Want a great choice of cocktails, Italian food and a great bar and wine selection? Come here. Harry and Daisy at the bar are humble yet very exceptional bar servers who are so customer focused and lovely! The beef carpaccio is best I have ever had and is worth the trip on its own. Great selection of food and drinks. Don t let this hidden gem pass you by!!
Food and cocktails are delicious! And the restaurants were beautiful! Nice place to have girls time
Great service and patio area is shaded with umbrellas. The tonnarelli cacio e pepe with chicken is a great option for a filling dinner. I also recommend the Affogato for dessert!
I am staying at The SoHo Hotel for a week & I dont feel like going anywhere, The Lady who answered the phone said she can have someone walk over my food & leave it at the front desk for me. I am so Thankful for her Kindness & I Appreciate this more than you can imagine! Id like to THANK this Lady so much! I Just ordered, I havent received my food yet, Im sure it will be amazing! I did read a lot of the reviews & they were all great!! Thank you in advance!!
Good location. Great for drinks. We got the Amalfi Negronis and I can recommend them. They were very good.
Visiting Toronto and into 4th day. This is where I had best meal... Zucchini Fritti, Patata and mimosa.
If there was an option for no stars that would have been my first choice. There were 2 people at our table including myself and John the floor manager brought only one cold entree out that looked like chef boyradee in a can. There were no condiments on the table in which we had to ask for also the servers were quite rude and non welcoming. The bartender then came over and attempted to grab our food due to our unsatisfactory review which was disrespectful and rude considering we have not eaten all day. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone nor go back again.
Absolutely delicious. We ordered 3 different dishes with eggs. We loved them all.
Fantastic experience. Delicious food and drinks. Beautiful ambiance.
Been here for both brunch and dinner and both times waited over an hour for the food. The table beside us ordered and cashed out before we ate LOL. Don t come here hungry I m still waiting pls.
The kitchen is way too small for this sized restaurant- so expect slow service. Food is poor too - everything has too much lemon added to it. Air conditioning may or may not work - couldn t tell.
I love FIGO been coming here for years. The atmosphere is so cute and dainty. Their brunch and dinner is always so phenomenal. My favourite dishes: CARPACCIO DI MANZO - thin sliced beef, very tasty but small portion and CASARECCE AL POLPO the octopus in the pasta, just wow and pretty good portion. My friends got AGNOLOTTI AL MAIS, really really small pasta portion but it was really good they said. Service depends on who s serving you, hit or miss. Pretty good price for an Italian place.
The restaurant is beautiful, I was seated outside the patio which was really nice that day, however one of the tables was wobbly and it was slanted. So we requested to switch to the table next to us and the server kindly let us, and also tried fixing the wobbly table. The service here was good, but the waiting time and the food it was not, especially for the price point. The sever did warn us that there would be a 30 - 45 minute wait for some reason, but we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes total, probably around more than 1 hour for mains to come. And some tables that were seated before us got their mains before we did. For cocktails, I ordered the Rosa Italiana which was good! . Appetizers came out fairly quick. I got the zucchini fritti which was good, but a bit bland (needs more salt) and the stracciatella, which i thought was okay since the bread was burnt at the sides. Mains took way too long to come out. We got the cacio e pepe, bucatini al ragu, and bianca rucola prosciutto. I know my boyfriend liked his cacio e pepe, but I thought it was just okay, including my ragu, maybe a 5/10 for both. But the pizza was horrible. There was 0 mozzarella at all, 0 cheese, maybe a sprinkle of parm and it was mainly just tasted like arugla, balsamic vineger, and bread. PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS PIZZA. The bill came out to 150 so 75 per person, def not worth. 2 stars for friendly server, who offered to let us try another pizza but we didnt want to wait any longer.
Nestled in downtown Toronto near the TIFF Bell Lightbox, FIGO offers a chic Italian dining experience. Their Zucchini Pizza is a standout, featuring a crispy crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. The Endive Salad is light and refreshing, with crisp endive and a tangy vinaigrette. The restaurants patio provides a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the lively atmosphere. FIGO is a must-visit for anyone seeking delicious Italian cuisine in the heart of the city.
Plays loud music all throughout the night even when the restaurant is closed
Drinks are incredible (the Figo Negroni was the best Negroni I ever had), food is super good and service efficient and super friendly.
Amazing restaurant with an amazing view. If you dine on patio, then you can have a view of CN towet while enjoying their delicious pizza. I ordered Margherita pizza, Zucchini fritti ,calamari, and more. Everything was just top-notch. Food
Nice spot pre-theatre. Pizza good.
It was my first time at Figo. Marien was fantastic, very polite, always smiling, and nice to talk to. We were headed to the ballet after a dinner, and she made sure we got our plates in time for us to leave for the performance. Carpaccio was tasty. Thank you
We had such a great experience here. Anna was our server and she was amazing. She was super accommodating and kind. I will definitely be coming here again. One of our favorite food and service experiences in Canada.
I LOVE ANNA!!!! SHE IS THE BEST SERVER.
I have eaten here multiple times, it s a wonderful restaurant with a great location The food is very good and the drinks are excellent. We were served by Anna, who was attentive while providing excellent service.
This was my first time here. Will definitely be coming back!
Incredible pizza. Anna was such a quick and gracious server. Eat here! Food
Perfect service from Mariane
We had Calamari Fritti, Zucchini Fritti and Pizza.. Delicious, although the pizza crust could use a bit of salt in the mixing of the dough... Our server was superb! She made the evening fun and special!
Food was good. Wonderful service by Mariane.
I really had a good experience here! Food is absolutely delicious!! Great customer service especially from Mariane!! Very attentive and accommodating!!
We spent brunch with my friends and food was awesome as usual. Mariane was really nice, and she was super kind in accommodating us. Would love to dine again!
Went for Brunch and I had a good experience. The food was great and the serving is Mariane was really nice and accommodating to our needs.
I just had an amazing brunch here, very simple items, just bacon, eggs, toast, and some potatoes but it was done beautifully The service is also really nice Food
Food was superb. Our server Mariane was approachable and super friendly.
Mariane was amazing! She accomodated our dietary restriction and was very patient answering our questions! Tiramisu french toast was to die for!
Always a good spot for modern Italian in Toronto if you are looking for something in a busier spot.
Figo is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food, quality service, and the best atmosphere in Downtown Toronto.
Top notch Service: Mariane Quite enjoyed the pizza. The pasta is too cheesy for me, personally. Food
Wow! Wow! And Wow! FIGO is Fantastic! 10/10!!! Our Server Alex was Top Shelf! The food AMAZING! Melt in your mouth Beef Carpaccio, tri Crudo (omg that orange / lemon zest!), outstanding kale salad, super flavourful grilled chicken, and a Mmmmmm delicious Tiramisu! Complements to Chef Nick! You knocked it out of the Park. And Such a lovely OPEN Kitchen too fun to watch The Show! (Plus for those that don t know the Restaurant s location - the View of the CN Tower is incredible from their wonderful City GEM Patio). We can t wait to go Back!
10/10, service was above and beyond, food was delicious, ticket times were on point. If we lived closer we d be here every week.
Food and service were not the greatest.
Excellent menu selections apps through desert. The pasta was delicious and pizza was light as a feather and very tasty. Bright and airy seating. Great for get togethers and celebrations. Definitely will return and spread the word.
Now this place is just great from the food to the service. Hosted customers here and everyone was happy. They even have a Negroni menu selection. Yum!
On Saturday, July 6, my Mom, my sister, my daughter and I had a wonderful dinner after seeing Wicked. Thank you for the delicious food, excellent service and first class treatment for my Mom, Thea. (Thea sr.) Jonathan escorted my Mom to the washroom and waited for her to come out and offered her humorous conversation, while making my Mom feel like a million bucks. She is still talking about him today. Our dinner ended badly with my Mom suffering a terrible fall outside the restaurant. Everyone came to help. Jonathan, was especially considerate, making sure we all had everything we need, calling us a taxi, staying with us through the whole endeavour. Your kindness did not go unnoticed. Our server came to check up on my Mom during the commotion and countless people chipped in. In a world where many will just walk on the staff at Figo did not. they all took the time to care and show compassion to an older woman among many young Torontoians. Not only did you make a senior feel very special during our dinner, you made her feel supported and cared about during a scary moment. Thank you.
Great Italian food and centrally located. Beautiful interior, food is always good. I actually think it s a great value considering the product you get
The chicken picante was phenomenal, it was a meal I didn t want to stop eating, and Darren was an awesome. I highly recommend going and seeing them, you won t be disappointed
Wife and I walked in accidentally. Was a great mistake we LOVE the place Food : 5/5
Excellent quality of food
The best Italian restaurant by far! Delicious food and excellent service! When youre in Toronto, make sure to have a bite to eat there! Your stomach will thank you.
Everything was amazing. Chef Nick is magnificent! Favourite pasta was the Bucatini Al Ragù. Wow. And Bartender Harry is a magician. You have to try the French Martini!
Mariane was fantastic!
A super cute Italian spot right in the heart of Toronto with a wonderful ambience. I was very pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes and affordability of the dishes considering the location and dinner rush. I only paid around $30 (tax tip included) for a very generous helping of the octopus pasta, with plenty of fresh, tender octopus - and left stuffed. Just be aware the food here is quite salty, so before ordering to let the server to know to have less salt. Service by Anna was impeccable, 10/10. She could see my cousin and I were extremely tired and cranky from the heat, and did her best to make us comfortable, and came over to check on us often. Hope she wins the best server contest!
Had a great experience and Mariane our server was excellent!
Disappointed!! Not the same Figo anymore 1. Half the things on the menu are not available. 2. Hot!! No AC inside 3. Service is slow. Have to wait for 20 min to get someone to clear the table.
AC wasn t working but we had a nice waitress and the food was untouchable. That pesto pasta is amazing!
Food was good all around and service was good, server was attentive. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and layout however, like others are saying there is no ac or air flow. Around the dinner time the sun comes right in the window and there are no blinds to block it out. It literally comes straight in, which I found really distracting. Some air flow would make a really big difference here. It would likely be better to sit on the patio if its hot out. Likely wouldnt return but the food itself was pretty good.
Great atmosphere and service. But food needs a bit improvement. We had calamari, bistecca and margarita pizza. None of them satisfied our taste. Calamari was way too salty. Bistecca was over cooked and pizza was just bread. They were very kind to remove some items from our bill after we give our feedback, thats why the customer service was wonderful.
Food and the mimosas were great but the Reusable napkin that they gave me had a hole and a stain on it. Food
Last weekend, we had a sublime patio experience at Figo, thanks to the friendly wait staff and managers and delicious food. The patio seating is a must, if the weather works out for you, and we also adored the indoor vibe. The zucchini fritters were out of the world, and we also loved the cavatelli pasta. The salmon, tuna and scallop crudo were tasty and spicy without being too overwhelming, and we couldnt get enough of the broccilini too. The pizza was a bit salty, but that just might be the sauce they used, that some folks will like. Cant wait to come back!
Enda - the Irish fella as he called himself - was the best server ever. He has the best attitude, was very prompt and patient, and gave us the best service. He was so kind and gave us the best suggestions for food! Loved the environment of the restaurant and the food was delicious! Please give Enda a raise!
Elegant upscale Italian place! Very pretty interior and service was friendly and fast. Came here for a friend s birthday. I loved the risotto and the zucchini fritters
Visited for our anniversary, all of the food was amazing. Our server Nicolas was very knowledgeable and helpful. Recommend the zucchini friti, insalata amara as starters. The agnolotti al mais was absolutely delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection, with mushrooms as a side.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Gotta try the zucchini fritti. Delicious. Excellent drinks
First time at Figo, and can t say anything bad about the staff, food, and environment. Jonathan who is the manager and Daisy our waitress was wonderful. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. When the service is a restaurants top priority, it means the world.
Waiter, food and service was excellent. Highly recommend eating here.
Loved the zucchini dish that was recommended by our server. Great ambiance and service. The lunch special was quite flavorful and tasty.
Darren was exceptional. He made the night for us on our girls night ..good amazing food and all staff was so helpful and accommodating ! Darren was just such a delight!! We can t wait to come back
+++ zucchini frittes, so zesty and abundant. Pasta was fresh but too oily for my taste! The service was amazing - thanks to Jonathan for his energy!
Amazing GF pasta.. had the Cacio & Pepe.. sooooo good. Highly recommend the calamari as well. Dietary restrictions: GF sensitivity
No fresh Parmesan on the Pizza, and they went light with the sauce. Nice location and vibe though.
6 pieces of truffle pasta is insane. You can get a whole meal for $30 and it s much more. Big scam. There are better Italian restaurants in downtown that have bigger portions and worth your money to spend. Customer service at the bar was amazing. Such amazing service.
Food was subpar for the pricing category. Dishes lacked basic seasoning such as salt and pepper or any other seasoning. Presentation was just okay but portion sizes missed the mark. I m not sure the cod was even cod and it was around 4oz for $39 CAN $29 USD The Zucchini Fritts appetizer ( $17 ) wasn t bad, it had interesting flavors of a citrus lemon or orange zest cream on top that saved the dish, but still didn t seem to have any other enhancing flavors besides the citrus. A small bit of flake salt could have gone a long way. The broccolini side was good and would order again. I will add that everything was cooked temperature wise perfectly. Interior was beautiful and clean. Restrooms well maintained. Noise level bustling. $220 CAN (w/o tip) Two bottles of sparkling water Two Bar drinks 1 App 3 mains 1 side No dessert
Anna was a dream! She made our night. We ll definitely be back! No stars for food because we didn t eat but everything looks delicious.
Its been about 2 years since weve been. Its always been a great place with only ever one complaint that the pasta portions were on the small side and not much selection, so it was not on our weekly rotation. Things have changed drastically. Menu is more extensive with a great selection of pastas and meats. The pizza is one of the best in town and the steak was well seasoned an perfectly cooked. If service at a restaurant isnt great, the evening is a bust, but Anna made the evening perfect- great service and friendly conversation -thanks again Anna !! Its now back on the list for more frequent dinners...if it stops raining, we may be able to sit on the patio next time - good energy out there.
Came here to celebrate my graduation and our server Edna was absolutely amazing! He gave us all the best recommendations (we got the Octopus Pasta & the Basil Pasta which were delicious) & he gave me a Tiramisu on the house for my graduation. It was the best tiramisu I ve ever had. Definitely recommend coming here and ordering with Edna!
Stopped by for a drink in the rain - what an experience. Thanks Mariane for the awesome service!
Mariane was amazing!! So kind and friendly, she made our dining experience really great. Food was good and so were the drinks! Favourite thing we ordered was the calamari.
Anna was the best! she is so lovely and gave a wonderful experience.
Not a great experience. Prosciutto e Zeppole: prosciutto too salty. Figo Colazione: taste of sausage was not good. Bistecca e Uova: steak was burned outside and the taste was bitter. Music too loud...to have a conversation you have to speak very loud. We will not return there.
We recently dined at both Figo and Pinky Sky, which are evidently sister restaurants. The quality of the steak at both locations was extremely disappointing. Despite ordering medium rare, the steak was severely overcooked and far from tender. It was clear that the food had been precooked and shipped to the restaurants, which is totally unacceptable and it ends up with significant drop in quality. For sure there cannot be two chefs at these restaurants that cook steak in exactly same manner with the same ingredients on top. So, the person who served the dish seemed completely uninformed about it. You guys should stop such nonsense with your customers! To make matters worse, both meals left us feeling nauseous for a full 24 hours. Overall, the experience was quite disheartening.
Really friendly service. Modern decor and ambience. Perfect for one of those long summer afternoon to evening outings. Especially if you decide to sit at the patio. Good location and fast service, exactly what we were looking for. I think the food is what you would expect most upscale Italian to be. Simple dish, dressed up a bit in nice plating and fancy sounding menu. I left a tad disappointed in the food - it was a bit too salty instead of just letting fresh ingredients come through. Also, drinks were a bit watery. Restaurants are no longer cathedrals for food. Choices are relative anyway, and this place hits enough of the things you want out of dining out to be worth going there again if you can afford the prices
Amazing food, even better service!!!!!
Very happy Figo is open again. Had the most amazing lunch there. Service and food were top notch and the visit from the GM and Executive Chef to say hello was a great touch. Cant say enough great things. Thank you Figo.
Nice lunch on the terrace, waiter was friendly and service was good. Pizzas were really tasty and cocktails refreshing! Would recommend
I ate pizza, pasta, and fried zucchini. It happened to be a place I came across on the street, and my friend and I were satisfied with the quality of the food.
My girlfriend and I visited for the first time since the closure and had a wonderful experience. Our meals were delicious as usual, the octopus pasta being a standout for sure. Cannot understate how great the service is. Our server Enda was incredibly friendly and professional. In fact, the entire staff was similarly welcoming and courteous. Happy to see FIGO back, happier to see that theyre back better than ever.
Love this place! Everything here is amazing! They gave us champagne for our anniversary! The staff is so friendly!
food was amazing! ingredients were really fresh and everything was cooked to absolute perfection. wait staff was even more amazing! can t stop raving about the service and food to all my friends an family. will definitely be going back:)
Had a lovely dinner here with a friend last night! Staff and service is 10/10 - so friendly and attentive. The zucchini appetizer was SO good and unique. I had the spicy rigatoni as my main and its the perfect amount of spice, so yum! Will definitely be coming back and want to try their brunch.
Such a lovely place! The food was great and the server was very nice. Jonathan from the service team was so welcoming and kind he actually made our experience very special. I will be returning many times!
The food and vibes were , but our server Tony was on another level! Ive never met a more genuine waiter in my life. He was super helpful, great at his job, and just real. We were totally smitten!
Went here for an early weekday dinner, decor inside is very bright and gorgeous. Had some lovely wine, the burrata appetizer and the rigatoni alla vodka for dinner and both were scrumptious. The burrata in particular was a perfect mix of salty, acidic, and sweet due to the the toppings it was served with. And our server was great and very accommodating to our short timeline we had for dinner. Had a great time and definitely want to go back.
The food is decent with few over priced prices .loved the ambience
A great Italian restaurant. I had the Diavola pizza with burrata and calamari for appetizer. The food was tasty. Service was great. We sat on the patio for dinner and enjoyed outdoor dinning. Everything was good but nothing fantastic. In the saturated heart of downtown Toronto, a nice to visit rather than must visit location.
Best Eggs Benedict in Toronto
Lovely experience, Good food, server was v friendly, Adra (Turkish guy) I believe was our server, thank you!
If you are looking for an exotic event, it will not your cup of tea. The menu is very simple. Not many options but expebsive. I had a look at other dishes, as I checked three pizzas came on the tables while they were burnt in the sides. We left it without ordering anything.
Woodfire pizza, everything is handmade from scratch. Definitely gonna come back. FOOD (menu changed) Rigatoni Alla Pesto: the pasta is a little bit undercooked to me. But the dish in general is good, very traditional and authentic flavor. Cream Rigatoni: I prefer this one, I believe it no longer be on the menu. Its very simple but all the flavor goes very well together, creamy, enhanced by the hint of rosemary. Affogato: strong espresso shot with a light & refreshing vanilla gellato. Cannoli: Ricotta cream cheese on one side & pistachio cream on the other side. The cannoli is huge and very tasty. DRINKS: brandy espresso martini: I love how they add some chocolate powder on top. Best cocktail ever SERVICE: decent service, a little hard to get a server to the table to order. VIBE: Theres a whole open kitchen with pizza oven and pasta station in the back, where you can see chef making pasta and pizza fresh from scratch. Big & bright area surrounded by glass to catch natural light.
The best pizza iva had in a restaurant in Toronto.
I have never had a bad meal at Figo, but I don t think I ve ever had such a superb experience as last night. We enjoyed sharing several dishes, and not surprisingly, the pasta was cooked to perfection, with a fresh pesto that was perfectly seasoned, and I really cannot speak highly enough about the zucchini fritti that was light and crispy and served in a honey glaze that made me want to lick the plate. We could not get over the combination of flavors in the mushrooms, with a rich, flavorful, balsamic glaze. The service was attentive and efficient in spite of the restaurant being very busy, and I enjoyed myself immensely. A peak dining experience.
Menu was simple but there were lots of options. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere we sat on the patio. Our waitress was kind, but not attentive and she was forgetful. When our food arrived it was presented beautifully but was served at a lukewarm temperature. (We didnt complain about this as we were hungry and it still tasted delicious). I would go back.
Some of the worst service I ve ever received. Overpriced.
The pizzas are tasty, but the tonnarelli pasta was very greasy. Food portions are small.
Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Audrey the server gave amazing service and gave us complimentary dessert for the long wait!
Called multiple times make reservation, not once was phone answered. Left voicemail, calls not returned.
Great food and service. Best tiramisu in Toronto
Figo Toronto went above and beyond to provide us with an exceptional dining experience. While we encountered a minor timing issue initially, General Manager Evelyns accommodating approach turned the evening around beautifully. With 24 guests celebrating our engagement and birthday dinner, the food stole the show from the warm ricotta to the zucchini fritti, the mouthwatering Cacio e Pepe, the unforgettable Tiramisu, and more. Thanks to Figo, our guests and we had an unforgettable evening, filled with sensational cuisine and outstanding service. Were looking forward to returning for more memorable moments!
Pizza over pasta! The zucchini fritters are on point! Large patio and nice seating inside too. Wish they had more wines available by the glass.
I came here on a Saturday for brunch, found Figo online listed as one of the better brunch spots, and have passed by it a few times. It is a beautiful restaurant with a modern and simplistic look; I love the open-concept kitchen where you can see the chefs making the food. We had the bottomless mimosas, I had the orange juice base, and my friend had the peach base, both were amazing, and bottomless; you cant go wrong. For food, we had the burrata (absolutely amazing with the peaches & balsamic), and then for our mains, we had spaghetti carbonara (so rich and excellent fresh pasta). Lastly, while the restaurant wasnt busy on a Saturday at 2pm, the server was so lovely and personable, Cherise continued to check in on us, offer us more mimosas and really was so kind. Overall, will definitely return to see how dinner service is!
We snuck in and got a couple seats at the bar where we had the absolute best service from the bar manager and staff. Excellent recommendations and quick service. Edut: Its been a couple of years but still getting an amazing experience every time I come!
Had a wonderful meal there and it was really nice! I really appreciate that they have a few well crafted mocktails for those of us who cant drink. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food and drinks were delicious!
A delicious evening in a beautiful setting.
Food was decent but nothing stood out. The interior is pretty but had weird service. I am not sure if because maybe our server was relatively new, he was nice but just really awkward timing and vibe to the service. I do want to make a comment though about how they went about with the hair that was embedded in the whole branzino we ordered. A strand of hair (or looked like hair) was literally stuck on the fish, they did take it away to make us a new one which I appreciate but the comment that was made was rude and condescending where they made it sound like it was one of my lashes that fell on the dish. I did not wear make up nor did I have lashes glued on or have lash extentions and for the staff to make it sound like I placed my lash on the dish was extremely unprofessional and manipulative comment to make. Will not be returning for that kind of service.
A perfect find. Nicely located and impeccable service. Food was delish as well.
This much oil in all dishes
A delicious dining experience on a Friday night at Figo! The Zucchini Fritti was the perfect starter to our meal - light, airy, crunchy zucchini drizzled with a cream/honey sauce. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka was packed with flavour - perfectly cooked al dente texture paired with a bit of spice - SO GOOD! While we loved everything we ordered, we did find it a bit pricier than other Italian restaurants in the area. Nonetheless, this is such a great spot for Italian inspired dishes and drinks!
The service spoiled the broth. There was none. Our food arrived slightly warm and when we wanted to order something we couldnt - no service. The place wasnt even 1/2 full and it was a Tuesday night. There was no professional running the room. Toronto dont accept such low standards. I wont be back to a place that showed me no respect for my time and money. I dont recommend any dishes.
Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend, my only single complaint is that the music was a little loud, which required some raised voices by everyone only adding to the overall volume.
Wow! Absolutely incredible food and service. Sebastian was fantastic and highly recommend stopping into this restaurant. This was a big favorite
What a great experience. Server was great, manager very attentive, food spectacular.
Always busy but theres a reason for it, Theyre awesome! Best Food Drinks Service Over baked pizza & live cooking make the place aromatic and feels like youre in Italy . 10/10 place for dates
Burrata is a must try!
Great service and delicious food. Was a great experience.
Figo never disappoints, food is amazing and service is wonderful!
