Italian inspired cuisne , served in a elegant but comfortable setting in the heart of Torontos financial district.
I recommend having their caesar salad (it's one of the best that I've ever had), baised short ribs, and a bottle of Primitivo De Manduria. It was delicious! We went to Little Anthonys for our holiday team lunch, and they did not disappoint with their fine Italian cuisine. The ambiance, food, and service made the overall experience very enjoyable!
Our first time at Little Anthony’s and I’d highly recommend it. The restaurant was beautiful and the music not too loud. The Limoncello cocktail was delicious I had the rack of lamb also. Our server Megan was friendly and professional and enhanced our experience.
An upscale Italian restaurant with fantastic food and ambiance. The menu features a wide array of authentic Italian dishes, all thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients. We enjoyed two appetizers (burrata and polipo), two entrées (seafood risotto and pan-seared salmon), and finished the evening with a classic tiramisu. Every dish was cooked to perfection, with rich, satisfying flavours. The risotto was generously portioned and packed with seafood, but the salmon left something to be desired in terms of size. However, the searing and seasoning were spot on. Despite this, I would still highly recommend the restaurant for its high-quality, authentic cuisine.
Came on a week night with my friend around 6pm and it was very easy to get a spot. We shared the burrata, tiramisu, bolognese, and seafood risotto and they were all so good. Our server was lovely, he made sure our water glasses were never empty and checked in on us very frequently. My favourite was the seafood risotto. It had so much seafood, very easy to eat shell fish, and was very rich in flavour. I am definitely coming back!
One of our favorite Italian spots. We'd always get the prix fixe menu. The ravioli is to die for and the tiramisu is a must have. The other items are good too. Their service has always been great.
This is an upscale Italian restaurant. I’m eating clean so I chose the grilled calamari which has a little olive oil on it with some salad followed by the cioppino or seafood stew. They were both delicious, and satisfied my desire to have something special.
We came to Little Anthony’s for dinner prior to going to the Princess of Whales Theatre to see a play. I got the Atlantic Lobster Fettuccine ($37) and my fiance got the Tagliatelli Bolognese ($29). The food was ok, but not great. It was presented nicely and delivered very quickly to our table but something about the flavour profile of both was lacking. It was pleasant but somewhat disappointing at that price point, particularly for the lobster dish which had so much potential. The restaurant itself was bright with lots of windows. The ambiance might be nicer when it’s dark out. Seems to me like a place I’d prefer to come for lunch instead of dinner. We made a reservation and were about 10-15 minutes late coming from the GO train, we called to let them know we would be arriving late ahead of time, and it wasn’t busy when we arrived but it still felt like it was an inconvenience to them. Service for our meal was pleasant and efficient. Overall a nice meal although I think I’d return only for lunch in the future
I am visiting Toronto and staying at a hotel nearby, and my friend suggested this restaurant. I arrived right before noon on a weekday. It was not too busy, so I could walk in without a reservation. The service was very good. I thought my friend made a reservation but actually not the case. The staff said he needed to make a note of that before bringing me in so that his colleagues would know if my friend arrived. He also chose not to take out the unnecessary 🍽️ because he wanted to wait and see where my friend would like to sit at a table for four upon his arrival. They had a lunch set menu but the only problem was I was not really hungry. The staff who helped me with seating came again to help with adding pepper and cheese. He was not our server, but still very attentive. I ordered wild mushroom pappardelle. It was flavourful and creamy, but not too heavy. It was also in the right amount of portion. It costed $29, perhaps it was not cheap but reasonable for the quality, service and location. One thing though, for some reason, where I seated, the tile on the floor was not flat, so I kind of lost my balance a little bit when I tried to move my chair forward while sitting. It could be an easy fix if they could move or turn the table and chairs around accordingly. There were lots of options for food on the menu. Also, a big collection of wine, mainly from Europe and some from the US. I was curious why there was nothing from more like the new world like Australia or New Zealand. I would definitely come back again next time and make sure I would come hungry.
Food was great. Service was awesome,
Above my expectations - great meal (delicious + good portion) and service!
Short ribs was excellent!!
We tried to make a family reservation here and the manager asked us if our baby is loud. Pass!
Food was good not espectacular.. meatballs were meh.. , service was excellent!! And the ambience was good as well
The lamb Ragu and braised beef ravioli are one of the best I have had in Toronto!! Owners are friendly and service is great.
29-10-2024 had a wonderful dinner and our server Isna was terrific. Went for winterlicious dinner and although Open Table showed fully booked, the manager was able to accommodate our party. We sat in the high seats lounge which was perfectly fine. The meal and service was very good. Recommended dishes
I recently went to Little Anthony s with a family member, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. Despite charging a premium, the service was far below expectations. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our food, and when I asked about the delay, the waiter responded in an abrasive, almost dismissive tone, insisting he d just told me one second ago while standing at a nearby table. Rather than addressing the issue with courtesy, he raised his voice again, saying he d go check on the food. The manager eventually came over but offered little more than a weak acknowledgment that the delay was not the norm. There was no genuine apology, no attempt to make up for the wait time, and overall, I felt the staff showed little concern for our experience. When our food finally arrived about 45 minutes later it wasn t worth the hassle. For the price and hype around this place, I expected far better service. I won t be returning.
We had a really nice experience here. We had a reservation but when we arrived we, and about 10 other people, waited several minutes for a host to greet and seat us. That was a little annoying, but I understand they were very busy. However, our table service was super quick and our server (I wish I caught his name) was really kind and very funny. Overall the food was very good. Three of us had the wild mushroom papardelle which was fantastic, 10/10 no notes. My fiancé had the tagliatelle bolognese which was alright. It wasnt bad but we agreed we make a better bolognese sauce at home. We also ordered the burrata as a starter, which was delicious but had a lot less cheese than we were expecting. Finally, we ordered gelato and tiramisu for dessert and both were excellent. My fiancé and I always order tiramisu if its on the menu, and this was among the best weve ever had in a restaurant. Very nice atmosphere as well. The huge windows were great, and the washroom was very clean and well decorated. I would definitely come back!
Waitress was great. Everyone is really nice and professional. The menu could be more extensive although the food was very good.
Attended here for dinner this evening. Had the burrata and butternut squash ravioli and both were absolutely amazing! I love burrata and ravioli and these were by far the best I ve ever had! Our server Pete, was wonderful from the minute we sat down. The service by everyone in the restaurant was also top notch! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious bite to eat.
Excellent service and food. Cozy atmosphere
I recently visited Little Anthony s and was deeply disappointed with how my family was treated. My four-year-old son, who wasn t disturbing anyone, was calmly playing and was whining because of a video he was watching when staff complained about him. There was no sign or policy regarding children not being allowed, which added to the confusion and frustration. For a restaurant that prides itself on providing a high level of service, this experience was unacceptable. If they do not welcome families, they should make that clear. We expected much better service and understanding, especially from a place of this caliber.
They put me next to a table full of people (I think 12) talking loudly, my husband and I couldnt talk and when it was time to pay the bill they charged me a different amount from the menu
Loved the attention to detail and the customer service is phenomenal! Say hi to Sol when you re in. She s great!!
The site is wonderful. A total discovery. I recommend calamari and risotto. Our waiter Peter is the soul of the restaurant.
Great choice for Italian food at downtown Toronto
Firstly, let me say, the staff are friendly, courteous, and just plain delightful. I had the Branzino, and was not disappointed. So light, and delicious. My son, who has difficulty with sauces was so pleased. They accommodated him by making him a tomato sauce. I have never seen this child eat an entire meal!! Sangria was not on the menu, but they made me one. I was generous with my tip, as they generously served us well. Thank you.
Amazing authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is calm, beautiful and very clean. Everything is set up beautifully. Very fancy venue. The service was amazing and very professional. Their food was the best Ive had in a long time. I have the beef short ribs and I wouldnt change one thing. It was so tasty and the meat was falling off the bone so tender and juicy. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. I had the pinagarita to drink and it was a great drink to have with my meal. I highly recommend this establishment. everything was perfect. Thank you Little Anthony for amazing food and exceptional service. Cant wait to come dine there again.
Perfect!! I highly recommend it!! The best of Toronto!
The best wine selection in the city, and great tiramisu! Pete was really awesome help :) Food : 5/5
The dishes are fine. Very tasty. Good surprise
One of the best meals I ve had in a while! Their braised beef was delicious and so were both their pasta dishes that we ordered.
Good food and good Cocktails. Dinner wasnt quite worth the price but still enjoyed it
We walked into this restaurant just by chance because we were in the neighborhood, and we couldnt be more pleased. The food and service were excellent, and even the other diners were great to interact with.
We had two business meals at Little Anthonys and food was delicious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating but Leah stood out with the level of service and her overall great energy. Leah did an exceptional job and really elevated our entire experience.
The hostess and waitress were so nice here. And one of the highlights is the food. They will take care of you here like an Italian. The music was sometimes was sometimes weird.
Amazing food and atmosphere
The staff is amazing, great service! Will definitely come back!
Delicious food in an appealing atmosphere. Service was wonderful. Friendly staff. I will be back to Little Anthonys.
We stayed at the Sheridan and walked across the street to Little Anthonys. The food was incredible, our server made us laugh so hard. I can not recommend this place highly enough. Go check it out. You wont regret it!!
Good but not really italian.
Nice place spacious Lots of light Great food. Friendly service I had the orchietta with borla and Salomon very good. Caesar salad was very good
Really great spot. The Calamari, Burrata, and Seafood Risotto were all amazing! Would definitely recommend this spot!
Excellent service and delicious food
It s a little pricy for the amount of food but overall tasty and has good vibes for a more formal night out! Great service as well
I tood the dinner menu and the flavors were a little dull, not Italian. The burrata was delicious but ragu and gelato like from a bottle or box
The burrata was very disappointing for the price. The focaccia bread was way too dense and the burrata itself was minimal and grainy. The lamb pappardelle was very good, but overall very overpriced for what I got.
This place is a good spot for lunch with friends in Downtown Toronto. The staff are nice and friendly. The food is decent, but nothing extraordinary. Just so you know, they dont serve Bong olé pasta anymore.
A bit slow service on a Friday.
Good food and cocktails and fantastic service but very over priced.
We recently dined at Little Anthonys for a Winterlicious event, and our experience was delightful. For appetizers, we savored the Butternut Squash Ravioli and the Chilled Seafood Platter, both of which were fresh and flavorful. Moving on to the mains, the Cioppino and Lamb Ragu were equally impressive. To round off our meal, we indulged in the Tiramisu and Blueberry Cheesecake, with the tiramisu standing out as a highlight. Even for someone who isnt typically a big fan of tiramisu, it was exceptionally delicious. Overall, the food was excellent, tasty, and reasonably priced, making our dining experience at Little Anthonys truly memorable.
The food is grossly overpriced for no reason and the dishes are lacking in flavour. There s also one tall male server that is a bit eccentric, talks far too much, and should be mindful of things that he says and conversation had as it will be reflected in the lack of tip.
Came here for winterlicious for dinner. The ambiance is ok. Staff were great. The food was ok. The burrata was pretty good. Shrimp cocktail that came out were undercooked, we were unable to eat them. The staff was nice about getting us new ones. The rest of the food was just ok. Food
What a lovely stop for lunch on a cold and snow day. Pre-fixe menu included nice options and full portions. The butter sauce in the butternut squash ravioli was divine. The wild mushrooms risotto was served hot and cream perfección. The espresso mousse caused me to pause in rapture while it melted away. We seemed to be the only tourists amongst an otherwise business crowd but were most welcome. The service was attentive and courteous. Just a lovely upscale indulgent lunch. Vegetarian options: The server disclosed there was chicken brother in the soup without asking.
excellent Italian restaurant with great service. and great food. Well worth the visit and cost.
A very lovely evening we had at LA with wonderful service, great food and a more setting environment. Definitely one to revisit.
I have been at Little Anthony s before and have never been disappointed but today at lunch the service was terrible. It was 50+ minutes to have children s entrees delivered. We were told it was a backup in the kitchen but as we were one of the first tables to arrive for lunch service that doesn t seem possible. I am struggling to decide if I will try the restaurant again
We ate at this restaurant on New Years Eve. We hadnt booked in advance, and the staff managed to find us a table for two.. The food was excellent. the service was top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are very affordable and the dishes are very expensive. We loved our meals in this place. I recommend it 100%.
Great food at prices that make it a good value.
Just discovered the best tiramisu in town! Its so good, Id visit just for this dessert no exaggeration. Every dish is worth trying, from the fresh green salad to the creamy risotto. This spot is my new go-to for celebrations or when Im feeling fancy. Perfect for a special date night with a touch of elegance. #TiramisuHeaven #CulinaryDelight #DateNightGoals
As always great food and service.
Visited since the reopening. Sadly, it s not what it used to be. Wait staff was not able to make recommendations for meals. The Manhattan we not great, we had them changed. Happy to see the restaurant reopen they will however need time to bring back old standards. On a positive note, the food was amazing. Worth the wait.
Great spot for a nice, upscale lunch. The bolognese sauce was next level. Impeccable service with really nice staff.
This was a really great place, and happy to have finally went. After walking by it for over a decade, I finally decided to go before the opera (I was reminded about it when we were at Volos for the last opera). It happened to be Winterlicious, which was great timing, so we went with that menu which consisted of three courses--app, entrée, and dessert. Both me and wife were happy with what we received, especially for the price. The service was great. The only hickup was when they forgot our entrées! Oops. Wine by the glass is a little high priced for what youre getting in my opinion, but not a huge point. I wish I could do 4.5 stars. Would recommend and would go back.
Everything was very good. I got the tagliatelle ala bolognese and my tablemate got the linguine vongole. Both were delicious, although I thought the portion was a little small for the price. The tiramisu was larger than the dinner portion and was fantastic!
We had a great farewell/birthday event with some dear friends at the recently reopened Little Anthonys... a fabulous, cozy, authentic Italian restaurant boasting a charming ambience and incredibly hospitable hosts. All the food... appetizers, main course, and dessert were truly exceptional. The flavors of the main courses of salmon and homemade pasta were exquisite and cooked to perfection. Great service from a caring and knowledgeable staff enhanced the experience by making sure every customer got exactly what they wanted and left Little Anthonys happy, wow you can tell making the customers happy was their main priority. We all had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. As a couple of suggestions, try their excellent squid appetizer... a very generous portion and beautifully presented.. the tiramisu was also delicious and supported by an extensive wine list. We would love to visit again. I highly recommend Little Anthonys as a beautiful place to go with friends, family, a partner and or a special event.
The food and service at Little Anthony s was amazing. Would highly recommend.
Oh my! If you are looking for a sweet little Italian restaurant this is NOT the place. A friend of mine and I were staying at a nearby hotel and was looking for some great pasta. Once we opened the menu and saw the prices and food options we knew we were in the wrong place. We decided to order a drink from the bar until we found something more appropriate. We got 2 classic drinks( which we were told is the only thing they serve at the bar) and had some water and it saw $40. Not a place I would go to again.
We figured out why its called Little Anthonys. The portion sizes were so small my partner thought that we had accidentally ordered from the childrens menu. When we received our dishes, we were surprised to see how tiny they were. The main courses were barely enough to fill up a child, let alone an adult. We ordered a few appetizers to start, and while they were tasty, the portions were so small, we felt like we were barely getting a taste of each dish. Even after ordering multiple dishes, we were still left feeling hungry and unsatisfied. It was disappointing because the flavours were good, but the portions really distracted from the overall experience. We felt like we didnt get our moneys worth. For the price, we expected much more food. In the end, we left the restaurant still feeling hungry and had to stop somewhere else to get more food. If youre looking for a restaurant where you will leave feeling full and satisfied or with some leftovers, I wouldnt recommend this place. The portions were just too small to justify the cost. We paid almoat $400, plus an 18% tip, for 4 people and two bottles of the cheapest wine.
Small portions for the price. Much better Italian spots with better value in the city. Didn t offer things like freshly grated parm, which I d expect at a more upscale restaurant. Bread served before dinner was like a cut up baguette you d get at the grocery story, I would expect in-house baked focaccia for the price. Service was okay.
Exceptional food and service i highly recommend the sea bass and prawns. Very well done. Good portion sizes.
The menu I saw online was outdated as I was coming for the Carbonara but they don t have it on the menu anymore. I got the Lobster pasta and it was really good though.
Fancy evening out at Four Seasons Theatre led us to this Italian restaurant around the corner. Fine dining with lovely ambience. Excellent! Great location, service, delicious food, and parking nearby. Mushroom soup to die for! Lobster pasta was excellent. Wife had the veal picata. Tender and delicious. Great cappuccino, and hazelnut gelato. Highly recommended.
Okay... Little Anthonys was absolutely superb. I highly recommend anyone whos an Italian food lover to go! The service was amazing, they are extremely hospitable, and the food was BEYOND good! The BBQ shrimp salad that we were served as an appetizer was one of the best shrimp salads Ive ever had in my life. Not to mention their pastas are amazing. I highly recommend this spot for amazing Italian food!
Very tasty food . Very nice service
Pre opera menu was good!
Excellent meal overall. Ate at the bar. Service was decent. Had pappardelle with lamb ragu, and a Caesar salad. Bread service was simple but tasty, salad was excellent. The entree wasnt huge, but it was delicious and hit the spot. Wine list is heavily Italian, not terribly surprising. They dont have a childrens menu and didnt seem very accommodating about children when I called and asked about it, so I wouldnt recommend this place for families with younger kids. A nice Italian restaurant overall. Kid-friendliness: They dont have a childrens menu and dont seem interested in serving children. Would not recommend for families with younger children. Saw a couple of older children or teenagers, and I think they would do fine.
Cute place, good service, tasty food. Near opera house. Note the menu listed in google maps is outdated. Go to their web site for the current menu. I had the PROVIMI VEAL PICCATA, my wife had the Lamb Ragu. For dessert we shared a capocino gelato. Alll good. A good dinner after the opera and our 37th anniversary.
Went for an office team dinner. Their food and service were excellent.
Really enjoyed this cozy restaurant, excellent food, and good, friendly services. Will come back.
Very good Italian restaurant, good atmosphere.
I ve lived in this area for 10 years and always have heard good things about this place so I finally checked it out for lunch. It s baby friendly as they provided a high chair, and it was perfectly quiet to catch up with a friend. Apparently, Fridays in August are their quietest time! It s what I was looking for so it was great. Food was very good, I tried the braised beef ravioli, my friends had sea food dishes that they enjoyed. Cute place, I would return for dinner. Also in a great location near the Eaton Centre.
Really nice spot for a business lunch or an office Christmas party!
Nice restaurant with great service and food. Forgot to take a picture of the food but it was
Extremely good service the the waiter was extremely funny! Loved the appetizer!
Just amazing restaurant, tasty food, nice server!
Terrible experience at this restaurant, table of 8 @7pm October 3. Plates had to be sent back for being cold. Waiter spilled olive oil and balsamic vinegar on one of our tables pants. His response was to bring a glass of club soda and told our guest to clean his pants himself. The customer service and food here are disappointing. We will not be returning
Delicious Italian food! The restaurant also offers a set menu for lunch. Tiramisu is highly recommended! Amazing service and atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Food
Food was fine, but the portions could be bigger.
The food was great! Seafood risotto and the chocolat mouse were really good! Ambiance is business Food : 5/5
I visited this establishment while attending a work conference for lunch. The restaurant has a beautiful decor and was very warm and clean. The menu has plenty of options to choose from. The service was friendly and everything was served in a timely manner. I have no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I would certainly come back when I am in the area.
Overall good restaurant. Wouldn t a trattoria or very classical style. Lamb was well-cooked with the pasta. Not sure about the brocolis inside of the dish?! Average
Really loved this place
The hardworking efforts of all the staff here make for attentive and friendly service and delicious dishes with high quality ingredients in an unpretentious Italian fine-dining setting. The Asian general manager is very friendly and seems to enjoy socializing with all of his customers. The vast wine selection and the knowledge of the staff on wines both add to the dining experience. LA is a top choice for Italian food in downtown Toronto, if not the top choice!
With a reservation of 20 people, 2 couldn t make it because they were sick. Instead of risking others health, they decided to stay home. There was a minimum spend that was well achieved to cover the two other plates that weren t there and more! However, the two plates were still charged extra for absolutely nothing. That s an extra $200 approximately for nothing. It was stated that if the minimum spend was achieved with the 18/20 diners the extra charges won t be applied. The minimum spend was more than achieved and still got charged for 2 more plates. Unclear billing practices. Don t bother reserving a large party at a place like this. Taking advantage of customers.
Good food, good service, great wine list. The salmon was flavorful with a crispy skin. The dish could have had a bit more veggies
Great service on a Friday evening with Pete. Super accommodating and willing to answer questions. Tiramisu is arguably one of the best in the city and I will die on this hill. They also have a private room that seems super comfortable and also somehow upscale. Definitely a place Id recommend taking a look at
Caesar salad, meat balls, calami were all splendid, short ribs and salmon very good, but food was on the salty side. Nothing spectacular
Little Anthony s was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious, the staff was professional and fun. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food.
Good food
Great spot for a private event. The food was delicious.
Great Italian food and nice service. This place reminds me of Europe.
Great service and good food it was a pleasant evening.
Portion sizes too small
Very nice classy restaurant. Food was very good. Calamari was wonderful. Dessert was a real treat. Our meals were very tasty. Service was very good and friendly. We were there for lunch before the ballet. Defiinitely come here for a tastily meal!
Have been going there for years and food always very good.
I loved my bruschetta!
Staff is friendly. Food is delicious will definitely go back
Good food, service a little slow
Ok, decent food good location.
Exceptional service. Very professional waiters. Very nice selection of food at reasonable prices that was prepared quickly
Sat at the bar ordered a glass of wine and the three course meal. Waited almost 50 minutes without the main course arriving. The guy seated beside me ordered just after me got his meal and finished it and I still didn t get mine. Paid and left. Kitchen staff was blamed and I asked to speak to a manager and was told he wasn t in. On a Saturday night?! Terrible experience.
Cozy atmosphere, amazing staff, very clean and the food was top notch
Delicious but pricey. I enjoyed the decor and ambience. Lighting is dim enough that your eyes are very relaxed, but not so dim that it seems dark. Happy ruckus from the bar area filters into the dining room which might make it less appropriate for some outings but for me it was a pleasant backdrop for conversation. Recommend the tiramisu
Excellent place for pré-Opera dinner.
Better steaks than most steak houses
We didnt reserve but they gave us a place. Really kind personnel. The food was really great. The portions are relatively small, but it was enough food for me. I would go back.
Amazing pasta. Went two days in a row this week
Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Youre better to make a reservation otherwise youll be seated at a high table.
Excellent food, amazing service!
A perfect place to eat the service and the atmosphere is excellent.
Reasonably priced wine selection, the bruschetta was bursting with flavour. Comfortable portions and Id recommend the ragu.
Had a wonderful experience, and food was great, as was the waiter
Worst Ceasar Ive ever had. Dont waste your time. If I had to sum up my experience in one word it would be meh. The definition of average food.
Nice atmosphere with great burrata, home made pasta and kind staff. I recommend this place.
Ok
They have the Best Turkey meatballs in town
Solid Italian food. Would recommend.
First time here, appy was great (turkey meatballs) and then recieved chicken parmigiana order, chicken was raw. Ill try it again on next trip as people were nice!
Best Italian food Ive had in a very long time.
Amazing food, service on the level. Definitely coming back.
We went for a team lunch in November. We had a set menu for our group of 12 and everything was great. The service was attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. I had a Caprese a salad, a Salmon dinner and the panna cotta and there is nothing bad to say about the food! If anything, it felt as though our food took longer than normal to arrive, which made our lunch timeline longer than expected. The space felt more corporate than casual but not stuffy or exclusive. Would recommend for a similar type of occasion.
2nd time here. Nice atmosphere but the food is not not worth the price. Meatballs were very salty.
Very good food and service!
Great ambiance and food
Always delicious. Weve enjoyed several outstanding meals here. Exceptional food and superb service, every time. Youll love it.
First time in, the pasta was amazing, the server was fantastic, I love this place.
A nice place for a work lunch. The prices and food are good.
Food a service top notch
I think it s fair for me to give it a 2 star. Atmosphere felt a bit stiff and though the ingredients were fresh and good in quality, something about this place didn t let me enjoy them as much as I wanted to. The server was kind and a bit of a character. I don t think I minded them so much as my friend did, she was mostly annoyed with the extremely slow service considering that there was only about 7/8 people dining at the tome we were. I m not very sure about this place. It didn t feel like 60$ for one three course meal (with a free dessert) which was just 3 scoops of mediocre galato (if you can call it that) was worth it. Especially since the portion sizes were so small. The appetizer, which was a buratta cheese served with honey, olive oil, and a few shavings of truffle, was sufficient enough for 2 people. My friend and I were left fighting for the last slice of bread, and we expected to save at least one for our third guest. The ingredients are there, but there s not enough. If the place is worried about losing business and so decides to skimp out on portion size, I m truly disappointed. It had a potential of impressing me, but the google review here left me deceived and with a unsatisfied appetite.
Food is good, but not worth for the price tag.
Excellent restaurant. I never fail when I go to Toronto. Italian food of a high quality and awesome service. I recommend this one as one of the best
Amazing service and reasonably priced
I made a reservation on Open Table which was super easy. I came in and was greeted promptly and seated at my table. The dining room is medium sized, so probably good to make a reservation - especially for a weekday lunch. Our server was incredibly friendly and made us smile. I came here with a friend for a weekday lunch. We were surprised at how quick the meals came out. My friend had a caesar salad. It was a good size, with fresh bacon and parmasean. She said it was average tasting though. I had the veal marsala. It was delicious, with several pieces of veal and lots of mushrooms. It was light on the carbs (i.e. there were none), but there was fresh homemade bread provided.
Excellent food, nice, cozy atmosphere. Great wine selection.
A very zen atmosphere.
Good and reliable lunch spot with attentive service.
Always an amazing place to go. This is definitely a take a date to place and it is reasonable and affordable. Great ambiance and fantastic service. Lots of traffic on the corner where the restaurant is so leave yourself time
Great ambience and great service
Best location. Close to Easton center where the food is the same old in the eatery. Took five minutes to walk to Jimmy s. And even in the winter it wasn t too bad. We ordered the salmon on a bed of greens. Sauce was amazing. But a little tangy. The atmosphere was a quiet buzz. And the area upstairs gave a little privacy. Not too much variety to the menu. But fish was fresh and tasty.
Higher end Italian restaurant, we were here for a Christmas lunch, enjoyed the Burrata, the main Veal Marsala and finished with the chocolate mousse. All done to perfection. Great spot, good service and atmosphere. It you dont mind spending a little more, we reccomend. Enjoy, bon appetito.
Great food and atmosphere not too expensive.
Beautiful restaurant and great service.
I came here for a private event. Before that I dont think I even knew this restaurant existed. Dinner was served extremely late, the focaccia was dry and slightly stale, the soup was very salty (and I like salt), and Id probably never come back here to eat in the regular restaurant.
