We had an amazing hot and fresh dinner with options that the kids loved. From the pasta to the pizza - there wasn’t a bad choice on the menu. The drinks were great as well.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is fantastic. I went on the recommendation of a friend, and it was definitely worth it. Highly recommend!
we were excited to try this place because of its high reviews. unfortunately we weren’t blown away by its food. pappardelle wasn’t al dente and the tiramisu was spongy and lacked espresso taste. service was excellent and drinks were great too. but having a close to soggy pasta is a huge turn off from an italian place.
Great for a nice dinner out with high quality food. Modern take on italian cuisine. Everything was delicious.
Came here with a friend for a girls night dinner. This is the second time coming to this location. I have been to Nodo (different locations) many times, and Nodo has always been amazing, however this location is exceptional. We were served by Katherine. She is honestly terrific and has tons of energy. We started with the Arancini Siciliani balls. Honestly, it was so good. The crispy rice balls just melt in your mouth and has tons of flavours with the ragu and peas. For our mains, I got the Rigatoni /// Trinacria (Garlic-Blitzed Cherry Tomato and Zucchini, Basil, Smoked Mozzarella, finished with fresh arugula, shaved ricotta salata) and my friend got the Gnocchi (New School) /// Crema Tartufata Funghi E Mais (Homemade pan-seared potato gnocchi, wild mushroom, corn, truffle-garlic ‘crema’, padano, diced tri-colour peppers). I’ve always gotten the Pappardelle Ai Funghi (Rich Wild Mushroom Raghu, Parmigiano) usually, however I thought I would try something new and I decided on the Rigatoni /// Trinacria. Katherine said the rigatoni was one of her favourites as it was very flavourful but also very light. I was truly satisfied with my decision as the pasta was not too heavy and had fresh flavours from the arugula, tomatoes, and grilled zucchini. The gnocchi was delicious as well. The corn adds a hint of sweetness to it! After that, we had some tea and my friend and I talked for an hour or so. Katherine consistently came to check on us. She helped pour water to top up our cups as well. We did not realize what the time was and we forgot they close at 10pm, however we did not feel rushed. Eventually at 9:50pm Katherine came to ask if we needed anything else and said she was not rushing us at all, but we felt bad that we stayed for so long. She was happy to split our bills in half. Katherine was wonderful and super patient. She made the experience at Nodo so much better and we really enjoyed her service. Thank you again, Katherine! We will definitely come back.
Absolutely LOVE this place - I've been here plenty of times and it's never disappointed! I got the Ruliano pizza and a beet salad and they were both delicious, but honestly you can't go wrong with anything on this menu. Recommended!
The restaurant is welcoming and cozy inside. The service and food were both excellent. The lamb skewers were flavourful and juicy. The arancini came out super hot with meat and cheese inside, not only tasty but quite a substantial appetizer. The grilled octopus was nicely presented. The tenderness of the octopus contrasted very well with the crispness of the outside of the purple roasted potatoes. The tiramisu was amazing, super light. I would say a must-order item there. Planning on going back!
Me and my friend tried this new restaurant near our house, and it was really good. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. Also, the food is so delicious. The music is nice and not too loud like in many other restaurants.
Great ambience and the food was terrific!
We had a wonderful meal and the staff were amazing! Highly recommend this place!!! Vegetarian options: There were very good choices for anyone who does not eat meat or chicken. The fish is excellent, the mushroom pizza is great, and the papardalle is amazing!
Worth experiencing for ones self. Great new takes on italian classics. Attentive service. Well prepared cocktails. The negroni brought me back to Europe.
I have been to Liberty branch several times and compared to this branch, Liberty is better in terms of food and service. There was a waiter who looked like he was rushing us as he needed the table. Im not going back.
Great Spot!! Spectacular Food & Staff!! Food : 5/5 |
I went there to pick up Uber order. Nobody came up to ask me for 15 mins felt so bad
Superb food. Now the benches against the wall have a geometry that makes them extremely uncomfortable to sit over 10 minutes.
Love Nodo on St Clair, the food is great, with lots of variety of dishes to choose from. My fave is the grilled octopus an amazing dish. Pizzas are great and pastas too. Desserts are just ok, and service is hit or miss depending whos serving you.
Wonderful place food was excellent as was the service.Looks much nicer inside than posted pictures. We had a very enjoyable experience
Fantastic food. Everything we tried (3 pastas, 1 app, 1 salad, 1 pizza) was cooked and presented to absolute perfection. Pastas are hearty and very rich! The service was lacking a tad - we were seated at a far window and we felt forgotten about right away and had trouble getting staff attention even on a Wednesday night but the food made up for it haha. I would definitely come back for date night, an intimate birthday dinner or a special night out. Very nice decor inside & out as well.
My first time dining at this very fine establishment. The service was impeccable thanks to our Server, Dylan who did his best to accommodate our many needs. His jovial manner and polite conversation, while putting up with my terrible Dad jokes, much to the chagrin of my whole family, made our experience ever more worth the while. The rice balls apetizer were especially delicious. My mom said the lamb skewers were done just perfectly. Overall, all the dishes were quite tasty and the server Dylan was full of warm and enthusiastic personality. We will definitely be coming back.
Fantastic quality food and service Nodo, please keep it up! I ll definitely be returning!
Booked reservations a month in advance, day of there was a latin festival, street closed, no seats available & said they arent serving their regular menu. There was a miscommunication between Open Table & Nodo. So while I hear the food is good, if they cant get reservations right then why bother? Definitely left a bad impression to what should have been a pleasant experience.
Food was not as good as there location on Dundas St very disappointed how ever, the server was wonderful very accommodating
Went for lunch on a Saturday and it was pretty empty during the stay, but the food was delicious and service was great!
Terrible service, rude staff
Awesome food great service.
Excellent- pasta delicious, pizzas great. Local neighbourhood place that certainly didn t disappoint. Highly recommend Food
Awesome food and really good servers
I really like this restaurant. Good food, good service. However, the chairs are the most uncomfortable! Not good for those who have back issues. There is no appropriate backrest. Absolutely horrible! Please change your chairs.
Nice n tasty.
Absolutely fantastic!! I want to thank the NODO- Hillcrest staff for their exceptional hospitality. My engagement party was truly a dream come true. All of my guests were so impressed by the delicious food and quality service. I couldn t have asked for a better experience!! This restaurant is a true gem for Italian cuisine lovers! Be sure to try the burrata pizza. Dietary restrictions: Accommodated peanut & tree-nut allergies!
Extremely rude owner, horrendous customer service and bland food. Stay away from this place. I would give zero stars if I could.
We visited Nodo during salsa on st Clair. They force you to pay 20% tip regardless of party size or order. We had a few beers and immediately got the bill including 20% tip which was mandatory. TIPS ARE OPTIONAL NOT MANDATORY. Will not be returning again. It s not my job to pay for staff s wages.
Incredible find! Food and service was impeccable and the space is beautiful, cant wait to return!
Love this spot! Vegetarian options: lots of veg pizzas and pastas! Food : 5/5 |
New school gnocchi is my go to and got lots of wine selections. Perfect for date night or events.
Delicious Italian dishes, best tiramisu in the city, gorgeous restaurant and amazing service! I recommend trying any of their hand made pizzas. The dough is perfect, just like you would have in Italy.
Great food, great service!
Amazing food and ambience!
We did not have a good experience due to the behaviour of other guests. When we asked to speak to the Manager he was/is terrible. He does not understand how to create a positive guest experience and we did not have a good experience. We shared the feedback with him and he was indifferent. Very disappointed and this seems to always happen
We ve always wanted to try Nodo because there are a a lot of great restaurants in the area. Our server Natasha and all the staff were amazing. They made our time there wonderful. We all enjoyed all of our choices. The Pizza,Calzone, Arancini, Ravioli, Grilled Octopus, Pizzetta, Torta Cioccolata, Tiramisu were excellent. We had the Giro D Italia, 2 Sagrado s, Bierra Italia and a bottle of Farina Ripasso
Dishes I ve tried so far: Rigatoni bolognese (meat ragu)-Loved this, simple & delicious. Spiducci D agnello (lamb skewers)-Delicious, tender, well seasoned. Orecchiette rapini e salsiccia (spicy sausage pasta)- My least favorite, tasted weird to me. Papparadelle ai funghi (mushroom pasta)- Just ok. Budino di Pane Caramellato (caramel bread budding)- My new favorite dessert. I tried the meat ragu, and lamb skewers first & loved both. For 4 weeks straight that s all I ate every weekend. I decided to give their other dishes a try, but I didn t enjoy them. I ll definitely be back for my favorites though.
Very welcoming and friendly. Food delicious. Tables a bit too close. Hard to have a private conversation. Medium expensive. Enjoyable definitely
Ordered the seafood linguine, clams and mussels were not fresh and tasted slimey, very disappointed...
My friend and I ended up at this restaurant because our first choice was closed. We were seated and served quickly, which was great since I was really hungry. I ordered the chicken because the menu described it as pan-roasted half chicken with vegetables, including rapini, which I love. My friend joked about my large appetite because it was supposed to be half a chicken. When the meal arrived, I was immediately disappointed. Instead of a pan-roasted half chicken, I received a quarter chicken that looked baked with a sauce resembling ketchup or BBQ, neither of which I like. The primary issue was the misleading menu description: I paid $34 expecting half a chicken, not a quarter. This isnt just about the price its about the false advertising. If this were a grocery store, it would be illegal. Such practices are outrageous. I pointed this out to the waitress, who agreed that I hadnt received what I ordered. Overall, the meal was subpar. The rapini was overcooked, and the chicken didnt taste as expected. The potatoes were good, and the Brussels sprouts were excellent. My friends meal, however, was perfect, and she loved it. The service was excellent.
Soooo good! Was here for a Communion- food was delish and service by the staff was exceptional. Bravissimi
Celebrating Daughter and Son in-law birthdays. Cozy great private space to spend great family time.
Great food and excellent service.
Food and service were excellent. Very enjoyable experience!
Nodo Hillcrest serves good Italian food and Toronto has very high level of Italian cuisine. The menu is very typical mostly pizza and pasta plus various appetizers and salads that you may find in other Italian restaurants. While the service was good, price was reasonable, the dining area was extremely noisy. Everyone seems to be screaming at each other because of it. If they can do something with the noise, this could have been a very good place to eat.
Great food and service. Pizza dough was so good. Calamari Fritto was so tender and light. Linguine (seafood wasn t as good as the other two). Tiramisu and chocolate desert were both really good and not too sweet. Our waitress Natasha was very sweet and appropriately attentive. She gave us great service. Will come back for sure.
Amazing spot , great service.
First time customer. Casual Italian Restaurant. Very cool chill vibe. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our server Luana was fantastic and really elevated our dining experience. Tried multiple items and everything was delicious. For starters the Bruschetta Pizza was terrific. Beet Salad was good, the Maple Brussel Sprouts are a must order. Tried the Mascarpone Ravioli highly recommended. Batar Calzone was huge and was done to perfection. Poggionino Pizza competes with some of the best pizza places in the City. Truly feels like a hidden gem as far as quality and service. Looking forward to my return visit.
Aranza is so fun, really is a good girl entertainment
Food was excellent! I can t decide what my favourite dish was as they were all so good!
A beautiful dining experience. Very popular spot, with perhaps a few too many tables for the space. Very noisy with guests all seated close together. Cocktails and dessert were both wonderful, waitstaff all great! Wheelchair accessibility: Washroom down basement stairs, tables close together.
Most incredible food Fish was flaky and absolutely amazing Pasta garganelli was so creamy and enticing.such an amazing birthday dinner Service was top notch over the top way surpassed anything Ive ever had or expected.was here for a birthday dinner.desserts are beautiful
Service was great and very attentive. Food was tasty and well prepared Pricing is reasonable. Food
Nice staff, delicious food and cozy atmosphere
A great Italian restaurant. Meals are outstanding and not horribly priced. Dietary restrictions: Offers GF pasta Food : 5/5 |
The pizza is amazing!
Extremely disappointed, as I have only heard great things about this restaurant in advance. To begin I ll say that there was very little ambience. We were the only people there on a Saturday night, the lighting was bright in a not relaxing way, and the music playlist of pop did not fit to the setting. We ordered the pesto pasta, beef carpaccio, burrata, and osso buco. The osso buco and burrata were tasteless amalgamations of fat, the pasta contained what looked like pre-shredded processed cheese that did not melt into the dish, but the carpaccio was nice. Food was decently priced, I ll say that. But much better restaurants out there. We got a nice bottle of wine at a fair value $45.
Excellent restaurant nestled in the heart of the community. Their food is incredibly delicious. We ordered the Pulpetti, the Sausage and Rapini pasta and the Ossobucco. Each plate was well made, bringing that old country Italian flavour to the heart of St.Clair West. Portions are well sized. The location would also be great for small parties and events Only reco for this place, they need more beer options on their menu, however I appreciated that each beer glass was chilled.
My first time dining here after hearing Great reviews. It did not disappoint. Good idea to make reservations. I tasted many of the foods pictured here and all were fantastic. The server was attentive, wish i could remember his name. Definitely will be back with more friends. Thank you for a Wonderful evening
Great service, delicious food and cute ambience. Came here with a girlfriend after work and we had the best date.
Love this place! Honestly, we went here for a private party and the food was amazing. Service was wonderful, and the atmosphere is very nice. I highly recommend to check this restaurant for a delicious meal.
Closest food to what they serve in italy. Amazing taste.
Great staff Great food
Charming little place with great service and good food.
The food and service at Nodo is always top notch. Every time I visit, we are always treated so well by the staff, the hostess as well as the managers that come by to check on us. The food is always tasty, and the menu has so much variety to choose from. We usually get a bunch of plates to share which allows us to taste a bit of everything. My favorite dish is the old school gnocchi which I ve had at least 15 times and it always tastes like the first time I discovered it. Chefs kiss!
Went for lunch here as a guest of a lunch party this past weekend. The staff were fantastic, they were so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious as well! I would recommend! We brought our 9 month old son and they were fantastic with him , letting him hit the order up bell, it was sweet :)
Great food but I miss the old Sunday Brunch menu you have to bring back those fluffy lemon ricotta pancakes!
Consistently quality and fast service.
Very expensive and less quality
Delicious pizza and pasta. Impeccable service.
100% recommended authentic Italian food including the Neapolitan Margherita pizza
What a great spot !! Food is incredible along with the service
I live in this neighbourhood for about 4 years and finally got the chance to try Nodo which was on my list for a quite while. I found antipasto options so satisfying. Especially enjoyed octopus dish which was accompanied by baby potatoes, kalamata olives, and capers. The crispy texture of the potato skins was a highlight. The dressing of oyster mushroom & arugula salad was so delicious. I ordered the classic spaghetti with meatballs. While I prefer my pasta al dente, I felt that it could have used an additional 30 seconds of cooking time. I liked the gnocci more despite creamy sauces typically being a tad heavy for my taste. The stuff was friendly, the interior had interesting details (like the plates, the mirrored wall and the ceiling light ) and our night was pleasant.
Yummy and good service
The staff and service at this restaurant is amazing. The food is lovely, some of the best Italian I ve had in the city. They really know how to take care of their dinner guests and Jason was a wonderful host and server of our dinner event. The owner of Nodo has always been incredibly kind and accommodating for private work events I host at their venue. I highly recommend all the Nodo locations for any occasion.
Excellent Italian food and authentic Neapolitan pizza
This restaurant uses cheesy tactics to get you to tip AT LEAST 18%. The waiter handed me the machine and proceeded to stand over me looking down as I m paying the machine had 18,20, and 25% tip options and you had to press a little button which I tried to leave a custom tip (15%). The food is good but this made the whole dinner sour. It s not about the money, it s about the principle of the situation, don t stand over me pressuring me into tipping higher than what I intended to.
Honestly was pretty disappointed. Service was mediocre and the food was not amazing. I got the gnocchi as it was a recommendation from our server, this dish was way too salty and lacked any good flavour. We also ordered a pizza - the Oltraggioso, it lacked overall taste.
This place is excellent
Daughters graduation dinner was great. Accommodated a party of 8 with ease. The food was fresh and delicious and served hot. The staff was polite and took our orders correctly.
Great little restaurant. Food is ok.
$300 for 4 adults 2 children and pizzas ridiculous
Couldnt be better! An excellent kitchen complimented by gracious and friendly service. Delicious thin crust pizza satisfied with perfectly salty ham complimented by truffle oil. I forgot to let the camera eat first!
Really delicious food and attentive service.
We did takeout and it was bad :( I hate to say it cause I was excited and expecting it to be good. The pizza and arrancini were cold and the octopus was so over-cooked and tough. Only the Ragu was hot/fresh but it tasted like a can of chef Boyardee. Really disappointing for this area especially since Ferro is less expensive. Felt like a waste of money. Maybe the dining experience is better
Food is good Service is good Place goo The atmosphere need more reposition of tables. The worst part is some people there looks likes kids and talk to loud. Rella will be back but need to know the best time
Let me start by saying that I truly enjoyed every second and all the delicious food. It was on June 18th. Yes it was fathers day but this day was the best one ever. We had a private room for 17 of us. Every course was fantastic. The service was first class and so was the whole staff. I want to personally thank everyone for helping us to make a memory that we will all cherish. My son got married on that day and it truly was the best of the best. Respectfully David
Was there for the brunch. Enjoyed the food and service was very personable!
I liked the spot . It was good choice
Excellent. I loved my pasta (Rapini and Sausage) and our dessert with a great cappuccino. Great service.
Wish there was more stars for rating. Celebrating an aunts 80th birthday.surprise. Over 30 people. 2 very well versed waiters and a few busters. For an intimate crowded area they flowed seamlessly with great patience when tested . Everything was timed well no lulls between drinks, food, with out being rushed. Highly recommend this gem in an eclectic neighborhood. Thanks again to all the staff on an already busy Saturday Parking: Right across the street. Safe and visible
We ordered food for delivery and while the food was really good the portions were tiny - not worth the money.
Delicious food, great service.
Dined here with my brother and Mom for an unconventional Thanksgiving lunch and we were fairly impressed! I asked for hot water instead of cold, and the server brought me a steaming mug with a lemon wedge a very nice touch. We ordered pizza. My brother had the Regina (Nodo s version of a Margherita) and my Mom and I shared a Regina as well as the Borgoricco, a pizza Bianca with zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and burrata. The dough was thin and crispy, though the crust on our Regina was a tad burnt. The flavours were well-balanced and there was a good distribution of toppings. The restaurant is large and nicely decorated the bench seats are comfy and I like the historical motif throughout the dining room. Though the servers were kind, their service felt discombobulated. Two servers tending to two tables is two too many; we were interrupted multiple times to be asked how the food was, if we needed more water, etc. I appreciate their attention but having both servers attention came off as bombardment. Overall, it was a yummy meal and the restaurant had nice ambiance. Besides the extensive selection of pizza, pasta, salads, and more, they offer daily features. So, I would definitely return to try some of their other stuff!
One of the best restaurants on stclair.
My husband and I have been to this restaurant and loved it. We haven t been back in person but have been ordering on UberEats and have had the same great experience. Recently we ordered the same order as our usual, and had some issues. However, the staff (particularly a man that was working November 7th- we didn t catch your name but thank you!!) went above and beyond to fix the issues. This is a restaurant that truly cares about their customers. We highly recommend it. Thank you!
Food is amazing, wine is great. The only issue which I understand is that they charge you per plate when you bring birthday cake from outside. But overall a great experience.
Best pizza outside of Italy.
I love the pizza and pasta here not to mention the great service definitely recommend
I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately the food is very mediocre. The best dishes I had were the Octopus and the Beet Salad. The rest of the dishes can definitely be improved on a flavor level. With that being said, the service was great, just a bit slow. It gets busy in here so I highly recommend you have reservations.
So... My server was great and the location is really nice. That out the way its a restaurant so I rate on food. St Clair has no shortage of Italian restaurants so you have to do some to stand out. Bruschetta was on a pizza that was kinda cool. Flavor feel short for me, then I ordered a pizza that should have been a flavor overload so I was excited. It was floppy, and bland. This place may be for someone but not me. I am spoiled married to an Italian that is a great cook so my bar is high.
Food was mediocre at best. Beet salad barely had pistachios, arancini was ok, ran out of gnocchi at 8 oclock on a Friday night, food just lacked flavour. 2 stars for service, probably wouldnt go back.
Large portions. Great service. Reasonable price.
Excellent restaurant Parking: Peking across the street Food : 4/5 |
Great food!!
Delicious food and wonderful service every time I go. Love the ambiance too :)
Great food and great drinks! Service was pleasant, highly recommend any of the pastas.
Mushroom gnocchi was good. The seafood linguini was gritty. Clean the clams better. Also, the pasta was overcooked. Wut. Al dente, people. Al dente!!!
Great quality food and service!
Great food. Dont know much about Italian food but I enjoy this place
Brushcetta pizza...not good...all they did is put tomatoes on top of cheese...it suppose to be mixed with olive oil..garlic..parm. cheese..basil..than the duck rague..tasted like it came out of a can..athmosphere soso...service good
Wow... Just when I think I have had my best dining experience, I end up at a place like this! Great selection, great food, and amazing service. I went to their St. Clair location and look forward to going back and also to visiting another of their locations. Enjoy!
Great Food. Great Atmosphere
Nodo is a nice relaxing restaurant. It wasn t too busy and the food service was fast. The food was good. We would have to come back another time to have another slice of their pizza
I had the gluten free pasta with tomato sauce and I m still dreaming of it! It was so delicious and the I loved the decor of the place! The place was a vice and the service was on point
The place is beautiful, my cheese pizza was delicious, but my husbands carbonara pasta wasn t tasty at all and still hard. The arancini and carpaccio were yummy.
Best Orecchiette and Arancini i have ever had- including Italy. Nodo is by far one of the best restaurants on St.Clair, and their other locations are also 10/10- unbelievably consistent. Staff, ambiance, food is all on another level, i always feel like family when I eat here. They also have a beautiful patio in the back, i can not recommend these beauticians enough.
Great food and atmosphere.
Great place
We visited Nodo for dinner. We called ahead to make reservations but were told they do walk-ins only but it wasn t a problem as the restaurant wasn t busy. From the start, the service was excellent. Everyone, especially our waiter, were very exceedingly friendly and prompt with the service. We ordered some zucchini flower daily special and the burrata e piselli as a starter. The burrata was especially delicious. For mains, we had garganelli cavolfiore gratinato and gnocchi crema tartufata funghi e mais pasta dishes to share. They were both pretty good, although I did add some chilli oil to mine. The portion sizes were also good and me left feeling full.
Incredible Food and Amazing Staff!
Nodo is the best kept secret in Toronto. I have probably been 10 times now and Ive never had a bad meal. The pastas are all amazing- cooked to perfection, flavourful sauces, and always served hot. The ceasar salad has roasted corn in it- which is delicious and the fish and meat dishes are great! Its lovely for an intimate dinner or a big group. YUM.
There are many better Italian restaurant options in the city. The service was an absolute turnoff. Would not come back.
Probably the best pizza I ve had in Toronto (get the one with burrata). Great service and beautiful ambience. Will return.
I tried the pappardelle duck ragu, very tasty and good portion. Kids got bolognese pasta and they love it. A little pricey but totally worth it.
We were very dissatisfied with the pizzas we picked up from this restaurant . We were charged 83.00 for 4 pizzas that had next to no cheese or toppings on them. Complete rip off.
Nodo HillCrest is the best of the best!!! Family and Friends a had our Wedding Dinner at Nodo. Originally we inquired with 5 restaurants in total. Nodo is the only restaurant who emailed in a timely manner. Went over menu options properly. Was around for phone calls and was professional when we arrived from start to finish. Excellent food. Great drink selections. Was able to arrive 4 hours prior to drop off the wedding cake. Had a good table to accommodate everyone. They all made sure that the night was special and started and ended right and we couldnt be happier with the service and generosity. Highly recommend. No matter what the occasion is or if your just looking for great food. Nice atmosphere and fantastic service.
Excellent food and prices were reasonable. Staff was great
The atmosphere is very nice, and their knocchi was actually very good. Arancini was below expectation. We sat in the back terrace, and had to wait a long time to order and get our food. In the mean time, we were given free chiabata which I could barely eat because it was so cold and hard.. But I understood everything as its a busy restaurant. However, one thing annoyed me the most was so many giant flies flying around the tables that made me doubt about the sanitary conditions of this restaurant. Right after we came back home, we both had stomahache somehow.. I dont want to think it was because of their food, and just hope they take care about the sanitary more.
It was my second time coming back after a couple of years, and honestly I don t know why I waited so long! My friend and I decided to come back as we were in the area and I m glad we did! We had to wait around 15 minutes to be seated but the restaurant was pretty busy at that time so we didn t mind waiting! Once seated, the server was incredibly friendly and attentive! My friend got the etna calzone which was delicious and a great sized portion! I got the garganelli and the pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was truly to die for and the portion was incredibly filling! It was an incredible meal and I look forward to coming back much sooner next time!
A most enjoyable meal in a comfortable setting. After a short search for a good neighbourhood pizza restaurant, my friend and I were drawn to Nodo. It clearly is a restaurant whose staff , service and most of all, food, speak for themselves.
This cosy atmosphere Italian restaurant is filled with good quality food. I love their pizza & pasta! Especially the lamb stew! Will come back for sure.
Ok Italian food. Overpriced.
We had a reasonably nice experience overall, but there was a service mixup on my grandsons pizza when they brought him a mushroom and onion pizza instead of mushroom and olives, but they fixed the order fairly quickly. My gorgonzola and pear and walnut pizza tasted quite nice but there was very little gorgonzola on it, to my disappointment.
Food was delicious and the ambiance was charming.
Pretty good pizza
incredible food and service - would highly recommend the gnocchi and the grilled octopus!
A fantastic dining experience. Visited tonight with sixteen and four year old grandchildren. Staff were excellent, food delicious. All in all a fabulous night. Many thanks to our server.
Went to try this restaurant for the first time yesterday. Overall the experience was just ok. We mentioned it was our anniversary and I thought that between first time visitors and that we were celebrating an occasion they would have offered something up like a free dessert or coffee. Second miss was that I ordered sauce for my arancini and was charged $2. I thought that the charge was uncalled for and I waited 5 minutes for it to arrive. We are talking two tablespoons of tomato sauce in a bowl. Would it have killed them to offer that up for free? Third miss was the MONTERONTONDO pizza. Very salty! I would have substituted the prosciutto for mortadella with pistachio in it and that would have toned down the salt level and remove the almond slivers. Overall, not worth the price.
The restaurant has a good ambiance. The food is okey, nothing extraordinary. The octopus was delicious. The ñoquis was recommended nevertheless it was disappointing, they were not as fresh and tasty as I expected them. Raviolis were nice, again, nothing remarkable.
This place is ridiculously over priced and they dont pay their wait staff. Avoid it!
It was great..The food was very delicious and the waitress was very friendly and attentive.
Fabulous service and food was excellent
Not the best and not the worst Italian I ve had in the city.
Company Christmas Party. Top service. Excellent food. Will return! Food
I really appreciate how friendly all the staff were. It could be challenging having a nice restaurant meal with a restless toddler. We were made very welcomed and my little one had an enjoyable time interacting with the staff and watching pizza being made. The food was fresh, satisfying and very reasonably priced for the nice setting and excellent services.
Service was ok. The manager was very welcoming. Food was nice, not spectacular. Most of it has meat. Dinner for two with one glass of wine with tip, approximately $70. I could not believe a 5oz glass of wine averages $17. It was good wine, but $17?
Yummy!
Ordered skip the dishes tonight. Pizza was cold and rather than give me my two drinks and tiramisu I got a pasta and gnocchi which were also cold. Guess I got more than my moneys worth but someone else is gunna be upset that they didnt get their entrees tonight. I should mention that all of the bags had both my name and order number on them so it was not the fault of the driver.
Great pasta and pizza dishes. Understaffed. Very noisy impossible to have conversation across the table. Would avoid on weekend and try for an early weekday seating. The food is worth it but otherwise not enjoyable due to volume and absent servers.
