2885 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6P 1Y9, Canada
Casual Italian in the heart of Toronto’s trendy Junction neighbourhood. With a focus on fresh and approachable, our menu offers a wide range of classic, regional dishes prepared against traditional standards, alongside creative interpretations of our own. A menu centralized around pizza and pasta, complimented by delectable appetizers, time-honoured entrees, and savoury desserts - all from-scratch, everything house-made! An all-Italian wine and beer program, distinctive hand-crafted cocktails, and the finest in grappa and amaro, round off a complete NODO experience! Come-as-you-are with family, with friends, on a date, or for a quick bite at our full-service bar. -General seating is offered first-come-first-served at the door-
NODO junction is upscale and accessible all at once. We strolled in on a Thursday night without a reservation and scored a window seat at the (quiet) front of the restaurant. Split the arugula/pear salad, a 1/2 carafe Montepuculello Rose (yes! It's a thing and if you like rose you should try it) and two bowls of pasta. Mine was the garganelli with peas and speck, my husband had the Orecheoitt with sausage. Both cooked perfectly, ample portions (no room for dessert).
Good little spot! Food was solid though not amazing. Prices were a little high but nothing crazy. Service was quite good and I loved the vibe inside. Lots of vegetarian options
The food was good. Normal higher Italian prices, but the quality was good. And the service was even better. Had a great time with great friends.
I’ve been here a few times and finally decided to write a review. The Junction location is cozy, and is a prominent spot for Italian cuisine in the area. Their menu offers delicious dishes that well reflects Italian cooking. While I’ve generally enjoyed all the dishes I tried, I was disappointed with the pizza here. The pizza crust was good, but the center of the pizza was very soggy and thin, making it hard to pick up, and I'm just not a fan of "wet" pizzas. The atmosphere is inviting though it can get quite busy and loud during dinner service. However, lunch hours are much quieter and relaxed. The restaurant recommends walk-ins, but recently started taking reservations for larger groups. The service here is good, and the servers are friendly. They also have patio seating along the sidewalk during warmer months, and a dining room downstairs for private events.
Not sure why this place has such great ratings - the service is great, but the place was pretty loud for dinner. There were 6 of us but we could barely hear eachother across the table. We came for a family birthday and we had high expectations for the pastas because we read such great things on Google about the 2 papparadelles (mushroom and duck ragu) but they were so bland. Again service was great but I wouldn’t come back here again. I’ve had better pastas elsewhere unfortunately. The only good part about this dinner was the tiramisu (not pictured) - that was insanely good.
We have gone to Nodo four times in the last two months. It’s definitely our favorite of the Junction restaurants we’ve been too. The food is very good. Hannah and Carl are both amazing servers. The other ones probably are too but those are the two we’ve been lucky enough to have when we’ve gone and we’ll ask for them when we go again (which will probably be soon).
Good place for a date night, but pricey for what you get. Service was good, but missed a few things. One of the dishes came out much later and our friend had to eat after everyone else. Also it took a while to get a refill of water. We ordered a bottle of wine, so I guessed they assumed we were sticking to that. Nice resto, glad I tried it, but there are other Italian places I'd rather go back to. Gnocchi was good and decently flavorful. Tasty but not memorable where I'd be craving for it again. Decent overall place
I've been eating here for a few years. They make authentic Italian pizza, great atmosphere, and decent speed of service. Other mains are delicious also. The only criticism I have is the speed of service. Don't be hangry, but have an appetite.
Too slow
Nodo is the restaurant I went to tonight for dinner, it is in a very beautiful neighborhood, unfortunately the Nodo restaurant was not what I expected. The restaurant was not full, the waiter gave me a table on one side of the door, the air came in, away from the other diners who were there. It makes me sad that the service in this restaurant is indifferent to some people, you are paying for a service and you expect the best from that place but I am disappointed. I do not recommend the Nodo restaurant, I will not go again.
Ordered uber eats from here, very good pasta. Would recommend. Thanks
Gr8 food Gr8 service
Food was delicious! The service was excellent, the atmosphere is perfect. Great spot for a date night or friend dinner.
I had pasta and wine, it was delicious! Service was good, we asked to change tables in the middle was it was cold near the window and they accommodated that!
Food tastes really good, the environment super nice and the desserts are fantastic. I do recommend!
It was our first time visiting NODO tonight and we ll definitely go back to try more things. Food was delicious. Pasta was perfect. Server was attentive (Hannah!), and connected well with us s customers. The atmosphere was warm and lively. It was busy! Recommend this spot. Check it out!
Interesting and satisfying take on gnocchi. Waiting a long time on a Friday night for a table.
Delicious food loved by all family members. Generous portion size. Its clear that all the food is made with lots of love.
Nice Italian place. Staff is friendly and attentive to requests
Delicious. Recommend the Pappardelle Ragu, Calamari, and Caesar salad.
Outstanding appetizers and award winning pasta...my goto for a sublime pasta experience
The meal was delicious, the service was great. However the portions were pretty small and they are charging New York prices for dishes you can get for way less in other places.
Lazy service, very arrogant, nothing of quality.
We have been long time customers. I m finally writing this review because I hope everyone goes and check out the food. Service is always top notch. Food is fantastic and I m pleased to say I ve almost had everything on the menu now lol. Specials never disappoint. Atmosphere is friendly but professional, relaxed but attentive. It is my number 1 recommendation for anyone looking for great Italian food with fantastic service. We never go to the other locations bc the junction is wonderful. They have a private room in the basement that I d love to book and have a party in too!
Lovely little restaurant in the heart of the Junction neighborhood. Husband ordered a pizza which was very good. I had the bolognese which was good but not great as it seemed to be lacking in sauce. Also being Italian I found it strange that no bread was served before the meal like at other Italian restaurants that I frequent. Service was very good.
the perfect spot for traditional Italian food, elegant and good taste. Atmosphere and customer service exceeds expectations
Excellent, over-all. Music a little too loud (okay), affogato with decaffeinated espresso was a real pleasure. The wait staff was very good.
Great food. The server was amazing. I forget his name but an Asian gentleman. I will be back thank you Food
Great resto - but really needs to get in non-alcoholic beers for local neighbourhood residents to keep coming.
Great food. Not sure if they changed the pizza recently, but the one I got last night was remarkable! Great service as well, the server was very patient with my old folks.
I cant even begin to thank the Nodo team for hosting our small wedding dinner this month. From start to finish, Gianmarco and his team were exceptional. They made booking the venue and finalizing all the details smooth and simple. They even allowed us to arrive earlier to the private room than we initially booked, and took care of some special surprise details for us, organized by friends from the west coast. Our servers (I m SO sorry, such a busy day, their names have escaped me now) were fantastic. Attentive, fun, and very quickly understood we were a casual group and kept up with our jokes and banter. They didn t miss a single detail, and made our wedding night even more special. The food was phenomenal- meatball, octopus, braised beef, that cheesecake! All of our family raved and everyone was talking about it the next day. If you re looking for a local place to host a private, intimate dinner, or are simple craving some delicious Italian food, Nodo is your spot. They are a neighbourhood staple for a reason! Huge thank you to the entire team- can t wait to be back!
Excellent food very enjoyable l would recommend
So so yummy food! Also great cocktails! Prices are reasonable and portions are nice. Mine and my gf s favourite spot for special nights lately. Food
If you can book the private room, your party will really enjoy their dining experience.
My cousin threw my birthday party in the private room at Nodo and the experience was honestly perfect. Coordinating with them via email was super easy and they were very responsive and quick to accommodate any dietary restrictions. The value for the prix-fixed menu is excellent and the food was delicious (with very generous portions). My guests were well fed and happy! If youre ordering dessert, I recommend their tiramisu (absolutely divine)! The private dining room is so cozy with a charming ambiance and the staff were so kind and provided us a speaker so we could play our own music during the party (which was such a nice touch). The service was 12/10 and I need to shoutout our beautiful server Alessia who was fantastic. She was extremely attentive, accommodating and personable. Thank you so much Nodo! I will be coming back soon.
We went here for lunch to celebrate my son s baptism 6 years ago and now my wife s niece baptism. Great food and service.
Delicious Italian food with great service and buzzing atmosphere. Came here for dinner with another couple who raved about the Orecchiette Rapihi Salsiccia. Turns out this was also a restaurant favourite per our waitress. Definitely did not disappoint and was quite filling at that. Highly recommend!
Went to pick up my order this evening, and got berated by a man, letting me know that I should be using another entrance. He repeatedly told me there are signs for Uber pickups. I wasn t a delivery person. I was simply grabbing dinner for myself and my wife. Left a disgusting taste in my mouth. Treat customers with respect.
The food was excellent, I felt like I was back in Tuscany, Italy while at this restaurant. The vibe was giving Italy. Parking is challenge, so plan accordingly and be ready to pay - much of Toronto core has this issue. The price point was a bit higher than what I would pay in the Prairies, but it s Toronto I guess, for example, a pint of beer was $10, $2.50 more than the most expensive in the Prairies. Overall, great Italian restaurant.
Great dinner experience which started from the initial greeting. Good drinks, and delicious food. Will be back to explore more menu items. Enjoyed the atmosphere and service.
Amazing experience and food was spectacular. Seafood linguine with bruschetta to start. Delicious and highly recommend!
Met my friends for dinner which we all enjoyed it. We had drinks, Caesar salad, parpadelle with mushrooms and pizza. Food was amazing and service was good. Unfortunately it was so loud in the restaurant, it was difficult to have a conversation. They also played very lively music which was drowned out by the noise. We asked the waiter if they could turn the music down since it was just adding to the noise but it was not turned down. I would not recommend going if youre planning to have a quiet dinner unless it might be quieter during the week nights or sit out on the patio during the summer months.
Good food, excellent service but for those who want to talk, this is not the ideal place, the sound is very loud.
Loved this place. The menu is authentic Italian, great flavors, good service and a simple ambiance.
Excellent food. Pizza was just awesome.
Pretty average. Had the pasta with seafood and it was insipid. No profound flavours. Husband had a pizza and was much better. Not very impressed.
Excellent casual date night spot in the Junction. I was able to get a table pretty quick on a Wednesday s night, service was fast and efficient. The food was stunning, highly recommend the mushroom pasta!
Great service and very good food.
What a fabulous little gem. Started with calamari which was crispy outside, succulent and juicy inside. Then onto my main... a duck ragout pasta that made my eyes roll and my toes curl. Very good value. Our wait person was attentive and friendly. And our dessert, a caramel toffee pudding was ridiculously delicious. Couldnt recommend it more highly. Oh...and I found free parking right outside the door. May for me.
Must visit Italian in junction Get there early as they dont take reservations and it fills up Always good with our kids Food : 5/5
Great experience with every visit! We always love coming to this location. Service is always great, entertaining, and quick. The food is always cooked to perfection and so many great options. Special shout out to all the servers specifically today that made our night out amazing. Highly recommend this location!
Another great spot with a lively atmosphere entertaining groups of guests all enjoying a special night on the town. The menu had so many great options which made difficult to choose. The waiter knew we were having some difficulty choosing and proactively pointed out dishes as they passed us on the way to other tables. We chose octopus, salad and split a pizza. All very good options! Normally we dont opt for dessert, but we were told how good the tiramisu was and decided to give it a try. They werent wrong. Best tiramisu Ive ever tasted! Its places like this that make Toronto dining special.
One of my favourite Italian spots in the city. A great ambience and hands down the best tiramisu.
Food is great, prices have gone up a little bit since the last time we visited but not a surprise, true of everywhere. Shouldve sprung for the full bottle of wine. Pizza chewy and delish, seafood pasta was tasty. Dessert was unnecessary, honestly.
Visiting from out of town.. Fantastic food - had the seafood pasta, mushroom pizza and tiramisu- delicious, great service, great value
Several dishes we ordered seemed to be suffering from shrinkflation. The arugula salad had only a few matchstick sizes of pear and less walnuts than usual. The gnocchi was missing the corn and mushrooms almost entirely, I had to go searching for the few morsels. My husband and I had got takeout from them several times during the pandemic and decided to go to the restaurant to celebrate his birthday only to be disappointed the quality had gone downhill. The service was great, though!
Great evening with great food and service. Overall 4.5 rating . Prices were fair and service was awesome.
My party of two was sat quickly after arriving despite it seeming very busy on a Thursday evening. The gnocchi was delicious and came very quickly after ordering. My friend who lives in Mississauga was surprised by how affordable the dishes are. The portions are generous too.
Decent place, for some Italian food. What really stood out was the desert. The banana bread was insanely good. Main dishes overall were quite good too Food : 4/5
Had an excellent lunch. Loved the duck ragu.
Nodo is one of the most underrated Italian restaurants in the city. Their Gnocchi, the arancini, the carpaccio with a fish on top are all to die for. The Junction location is our families go to for celebrations. Fabian, their bar tender is Ah-mazing!
Amazing food options recommended by Hannah. We had Burrata e Pisello for appetizer, calzone - Etna, Pasta-RAGU DANTARA, Tiramisu. Its the best tiramisu Ive ever had! Our sever was polite, made amazing recommendations! The portions dont disappoint you! Highly recommend trying the tiramisu!
I am thrilled with my decision to host a special event here at Nodo. It is indeed my favourite restaurant, and they did not disappoint. Planning the event was seamless with many thanks to the amazing Gianmarco. The day of, I was so thoroughly impressed by the impeccable service and the gorgeous food. My guests were raving about the experience during AND after their visit. Would book another event without hesitation. Thank you for the beautiful memories, Nodo
Well
Love this place in the Junction. Good food, great service, and such a cute ambience. I come all the time. Its a must if you are in the Junction.
Great service. The lamb skewers and carpaccio are flavourful and delicious. Maybe an off night, but I feel like the quality of the pizza and pasta has gone down. The pizza was mostly dough and the pasta didnt taste fresh. Nice ambience
I went to other NODO restaurant and it was decent. But this NODO had excellent vibe, the service was very good, welcoming and attentive. The food was very tasty, and cocktails are very nice.
My all time favorite restaurant. Cosy and friendly as a small neighborhood restaurant with expertly crafted dishes. Ideal meal: bottle of red wine with pizzas and end with the tiramisu!
Great place. Food is very good.
Don t bother calling them for take out or to make any reservations. I called them about 5 times to place an order from 9:00-9:40 and clearly no one cares enough to answer the phone.
Great food and super vibe. Try the truffle gnocchi it s fantastic also the burrata with ciabatta. We will be going back!
We dont go for Italian food because my partner says Im too picky. But this mightve been the best bowl of pasta Ive had in Toronto. Well be back!
Great atmosphere. Great for a night out with your partner. Fresh pasta, fantastic meatballs, fantastic Caesar salad. All around a great place. We will be back again and again.
Great place- perfect size. Great food. Cesar salad wonderful, gnocchi so fresh. Cute! Very cozy!
Excellent
Amazing food and service. Edited: Had an amazing time again. Food and service impeccable. Everything delicious! Recommended dishes Focaccia, Pappardelle Ragu DAntara
Great spot. Ate alot, and it was all very good.
Best Italian experience Ive had in a long time. Take wine is nice, everything is fresh and their pizza are delicious.
Quality of food is unmatched and service is super friendly!!
Incredible spot - food was bomb, dessert was bomb, service was bomb. Gnocchi was incredible - it came out super soft and incredible. Bread pudding was unreal and the gelato that it comes with is UNREAL - actually tastes like real fruit. Incredible food and Bernard was an amazing server. 1000% would come back. Thank you Bernard for an incredible experience and the laughs.
Another great restaurant in the junction.
Great place for italian food. Their pasta, desserts and appetizers are all amazing. Great services, since it is our first time there, we asked the waiter to give us some recommendations, they all turned out great.
Visited this location for a quick dinner after being out all day. Food was great and the vibe was really welcoming. Definitely returning. Update: March 2023 Nodo Italian Restaurant is a fantastic dining destination in the heart of Toronto. From the moment you step inside, youre greeted with warm and welcoming ambiance, along with the aroma of freshly cooked Italian food that will make your mouth water. The menu at Nodo is extensive and offers a wide variety of Italian dishes to choose from, including appetizers, pasta, pizza, mains, and desserts. Every dish is prepared with care and attention to detail, using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients. One of the standout dishes that I would highly recommend is the spaghetti carbonara - its rich, creamy, and full of flavor! The service at Nodo is exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who are always on hand to help with anything you need. Theyre happy to make recommendations and ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience. The decor at Nodo is modern and stylish, with comfortable seating and beautiful lighting that creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Whether youre looking for a romantic dinner for two or a fun night out with friends, Nodo is the perfect spot. Overall, I would highly recommend Nodo Italian Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Italian food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Its definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto and a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and great company. Kid-friendliness: Highchairs are available
Nodo is one of my absolute favourite Italian restaurants in the city! They have a great selection of wines at every price point, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. We ve ordered a bunch of stuff on their menu over the course of a few visits: Pizza, pasta, and a bunch of their amazing apps and everything was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. 10/10 recommend for anyone in the neighbourhood looking for a solid Italian restaurant.
Cozy place, nice lighting, good service, tasty food.
Delicious and authentic Italian pizza and Tiramisu. Can t wait to go back to try other dishes. Staff was kind and helpful! A cozy and well decorated place. Had a great evening hanging out there.
Wonderful place. Excellent service! Food was a bit too salty. Pull back on the salt please chef and it will be PERFECT! Food
I first discovered this place for a work dinner, we had a great time. I decided to pop in another time when I was in the city. I went by myself, the food was still so good, service was great too, the servers are all attentive and willing to help, ambiance is also cute and cozy! Would love to come back again and try the other location!
Great food and service. It is a very busy place but we did not wait long to get a table.
One of my fav place to go
Some of the best Italian food I have tasted in Toronto. I highly recommend the Pappardelle AI Funghi Vegetarian options: Lots of good vegetarian options with at least one vegetarian dish available in each category.
Our server was so great. I wish I knew his name. Thank you
The food was nice as well as cocktails. The service could be better. Our server rarely got to our table and while we were getting our food, staff looked very tired. Like you could see and hear the exhaustion in them. This place is also pricey.
Solid experience. The food, service and atmosphere were very nice. I just wasnt amazed enough to want to rush back.
Consistently good food and service. Id definitely recommend a visit. Freshly made pasta. Try the duck ragu!
I ve been to Nodo twice and both times were great experiences. The food is amazing and the services matches. The second time, I went with a big party for a friends birthday and our server, Katherine was such a fantastic host! She made sure we accommodated from the very first person who arrived until we all left hours later. Definitely recommend if you want some yummy Italian food - try the arancini, braised beef and risotto, Caesar salad and the cannolis!
Best Italian around
We dropped in for an unscheduled Saturday luncheon. We had the special pasta and pizza with a side order of Brussel Sprouts. All delightfully cooked and served beautifully. The facilities are top notch and everyone is friendly. Highly recommended when in the Junction!!
Love this spot. Among various good Italian favourites, we really love the olives as an appetizer. Recommended.
Lovely restaurant. Admittedly I just stopped in for some last minute tiramisu, but it was well worth it.
great service and food.
While I normally dont enjoy Italian cuisine as much as others, I did rather enjoy the dishes I had. Our waitress was friendly, and food was served rather quickly. Everyone rather enjoyed their meals, while my favorite was the Bruschetta, I also did enjoy the Lamb Skewers. Both were appetizers. Worthwhile, if you enjoy Italian and are looking for something on the more affordable side.
Great experience at Nodo for a Saturday late lunch. It was absolutely packed but the service managed to keep the pace and were friendly throughout. I had the octopus and it was cooked to tender perfection. Great experience - thanks to the Nodo team.
My wife and i went of thr reccomendation of a friend for our anniversary. The staff was lovely, the food was great and very reasonably priced, great food, nice ambiance.
I hardly leave reviews but I had to for this one. We ordered: 1. Bruschetta - they basically gave us a small cheese pizza but not the toppings of bruschetta. It was bland, soggy and undercooked. 2. Ravioli pasta - it was so al dente that it was barely cooked. The pasta has hard and undercooked. 3. The pasta with sausage and rapini - it was dry, pasta was hard and no taste. 4. Calzone - it was so undercooked that the cheese inside didnt even melt. It was a thick slice of cheese. So disappointing. Do NOT order from here.
Fantastic restaurant and the vibe is so cool. Food was perfect. We got 2 salads and barrata to share among the 4 of us. Then pasta, pizza, gnocchi. Service could not be better. Highly recommend!!!!!
Rude turban guy back in kitchen i was picking food for uber
Very delicious Italian Food . Specially in Summer time, you will get a chance to try Zucchini Flower.
This restaurant needs to update its hours. It says open til 10, but in fact stops taking orders at 9. Ergo, closed. Food usually good, if you want to eat at your parents bedtime. Do better NODO, pretend it s a city.
They have the best gnocchi.
Having been a regular for several years I was quite disappointed. The same pasta that was $19 is now $23 Inflation is not 20%. Furthermore the portion was HALF the size. This is uncalled for .I find this totally unacceptable.
The food here was fabulous! We had the grilled octopus and it was delicious! The seafood pasta with mussels, clams and shrimp was very well made and very tasty. We also had the squid ink risotto however we weren t as impressed with that dish. Our server Carl was probably the nicest, funniest and best servers I ve had the pleasure to deal with. He was top notch ! I d highly recommend this place!
We had a private party in the downstairs room for my kids comunion, great friendly atmosphere, weve been here before with my wife a few years ago and we had great time, food if done properly, service was on point, nothing to say other than good job guys.
Loved the guac and the carnitas! + Two pitchers of red sangria = amazing evening!
Worst restaurant
Amazing food and atmosphere, would love to come back
First time in this restaurant. Excellent food, excellent / friendly service, and excellent ambiance. Definitely recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience.
Gluten free options available for pasta dishes and dessert, but not pizza. Great, efficient service
Delicious food and drinks.
Some of the best pizza in the city. Wonderful place!
Have been coming here for a while and the food never disappoints, but the service was exceptional this time.
Great food and atmosphere.
When the food, service and company are too good you forget to take pics. Thats this place! We had a lovely Calzone and the gnocchi, both delicious. We sat at the bar and the bartender was just super attentive and friendly, made our night even better. Beautiful atmosphere .
Great Italian food
The service and atmosphere of this place is wonderful. I m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the food is good but not excellent which is was I was expecting for the price. We got pizza which was 9/10 , the arancini was 7/10 but could have gone without the peas and would have been better with sauce and the tiramisu was 8/10 but was lacking the signature coffee flavour.
Great food, very happy with my meal.
I m glad there s a location more accessible to the west but there s a little something missing from its original counterpart. This place is more polished, however it was not as welcoming or inviting. I think it will find its place in the neighbourhood over time. Host and waiter were very busy but a little hands off when it came to service. Drinks didn t come until our entrees showed up, coffee came back lukewarm; small details that mean a lot. Also, the space between tables on the first floor was a bit tight. Enough so that the host moved our table as he sat us down. The food is incredible nevertheless so please check it out. Hopefully they are wrinkles in time instead of permanent creases.
Enjoyed a lot.
Went here for a Wedding dinner. The private space had a great vibe and the food and service was excellent.
Service was poor. We called and they said they dont take reservations, we went to the restaurant and they said they couldnt seat us on open tables because of reservations. Poor way to start, waiting long when tables are open. Seating Im uncomfortable, good was really good.
First time at Nodo. Food excellent. Service excellent. Music was a bit too loud, but I will definitely go back. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options.
Vegetarian options: Mushroom pasta is amazing! Food
Amazing Italian restaurant. Great place for a first date. I cant remember the last time a server not only cleared the table but also kept the table clean through the meal. Martina was wonderfully attentive. Thank you. A must go to in Toronto.
Delicious Food, Amazing Service! I had the pizza with four different cheeses and a salad, would go again to try their pastas next!
Good food, great service, neat place.
Nice place, service is awesome, and the food is great but the atmosphere is really loud
Bit pricey
Amazing Italian food!
Food is delicious! Probably my favourite restaurant in the Junction.
What a shame I was really excited but it just fell short in all aspects. Little flavor, next to no sauce... bland, bland, bland. For $135.00 ( food only) I would expect way more.
Great waiter. Great food all the staff r great
Nodo Junction has been on my must try Italian food list for a few months and it met the expectations! Great Italian food with an inviting menu that will have you coming back to try everything. Our table got a variety of pasta dishes including Gnocchi, ravioli, bucatini, papardelle. They were all delicious and unique. Cocktails were also unique and they have an extensive drinks menu. I tried the Nico. Service was also fast and friendly Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious vegetarian options in all categories Parking: Green P lots nearby
This is our favorite restaurant in the Junction. We have been coming here for many, many years. They make a great Manhattan and the arancnii balls and octopus are my favorites.
Food here was amazing. We went here for a celebration and it didn t disappoint. The apps were really good and the tiramisu was incredible. We got a private room which was great and this location is accessible to Etobicoke.
Came here for dinner the other night. They don t take reservations but we were seated quickly. The tables are a bit close together, makes things a bit awkward when it gets busy. We shared the burrata appetizer and a pear and walnut pizza. The burrata was really fresh and flavourful. We weren t able to substitute the gorgonzola on the pizza which was a little disappointing but we still really enjoyed it. Would come back again!
What a wonder experience and Venue. The food was excellent!! Thank you Franco for suggesting Nodo for our family gathering to celebrate moms bday. Charlie was such a wonderful HOST!!! I will be making it a point to go there again while in the City. James M from Guelph
This place was recommended to me by a family member. There were highs and lows. The focaccia bread was cold in the middle and not warm throughout. That was extremely disappointing. The bruschetta pizza was a generous portion and tasted very good. When I saw the entrees arrive, I immediately noticed a difference. The spaghetti and meatballs were piping hot with steam rising off and a very generous portion. My ravioli was barely warm and I toyed with the idea of sending it back. However, our server already seemed unhappy because she attempted to remove a plate that still had food on it and I told her we were going to finish it. I truly sensed that the lukewarm, smaller portion of ravioli may have been payback. Even my table mates commented on the small portion. The other table guest said her penne was at an appropriate temperature but would have been improved by some chicken or shrimp. She doesn t eat pork. The chocolate cake with vanilla gelato was very good. Service was fine but I sensed residual hostility after the plate removal incident, so I didn t feel comfortable after that. It was also hard to carry on a conversation because it was somewhat loud in there. Once you serve cold and/or lukewarm food, it speaks volumes as to the lack of quality control, so that nailed it for me. Nodo=No return visit. There are better out there for much cheaper and with restaurants fighting to keep and/or increase their clientele, it would be wise for Nodo to take heed of their reviews and make an effort to address any concerns.
Although they did not have any vegan menu items, the waiter was able to recommend one that could be modified. It had a very delicious truffle oil sauce but was basically just penne and arugula which doesnt have much substance. Id give it a higher rating if they could add a vegan menu item as its not hard to find vegan meals in Italy. Otherwise, everybody really enjoyed their meals and I liked the restaurant. The waiter was friendly and helpful too. Vegetarian options: Limited selection of vegetarian options and no vegan options on the menu.
Very very good. Real authentic itialian vibes. A little kitschy with the decor. Kinda feels like its fishing for the Woodbridge transplants.
Love to come here with my friends for dinner. The menu is great and the food is so delicious. The atmosphere is perfect (Not too loud but doesn t feel dead) and great service. Will keep going back
Visited this restaurant on a recommendation with family members and would definitely recommend. We had the Polipo E Late which was made just perfect. We ordered the Pappardelle/Ragu DAntara, Pappardelle/Veal, Linguine/Adriatico. All dishes made just right. Desserts: Chocolate/Torta, Cheese Cake, Tiramisu great. Thank you the service and recommendations Ana, my family and I enjoyed everything.
Bread is amazing- and so is the pasta, but anything else is trash lmao. its just widely disappointing how it ranges from great to bad; dry lamb, bitter salad, and the calamari squid is lol. Your best bet is to just stick with pasta and wine. Everyone is really friendly there, but in a way appease an older crowd
Yes -- you can have a very nice meal in a cozy restaurant with great service and still keep the shirt on your back. From Hello at the front door, to the chatter at the bar and dialed in attentiveness during dinner, this is a place that just cares about patrons and provides for a genuinely nice dining experience.
Ive been to Nodo a couple of times, and it never disappoints. Delicious and fresh food. Good service. Pleasant ambiance. What else can one need for a perfect date night or just catching up with a friend. Highly recommended!
Both pastas (gnocchi & cauliflower pasta) were absolutely delicious - highly recommend. Despite there being a large party, staff were attentive and friendly. Definitely check this place out!
Came here with my sister and we had the focaccia, marinated olives, burrata and the grilled octopus. Caesar s were worst I ve ever had - so id stick to the wine list- but the service was excellent and the food we had was also good. Solid 4 and I would come here again.
My wife and my go to date night spot. Fancy but not too fancy. Great food and cocktails.
I Love Nodo!...I usually frequent the Hillcrest location, however, last weekend I offered to take my colleague out for dinner at the Hillcrest location...when we got to Nodo Hillcrest, realized it was closed for a private function. JAY did not hesitate to welcome me in while he called the Junction location to ensure that I would have a table for two waiting for me. I Love Nodo...their FOOD...their STAFF..
