DELICIOUS food, great atmosphere and wonderful service. Amanda served us and she was very friendly, professional and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant. EVERYTHING was delicious. The only thing is that you have to find a parking spot on the street. Please note they dont accept credit cards. They only take cash or ATM. Coming from the USA we had very little Canadian cash.

A fantastic dining experience from beginning to end. Service by the owner Frankie, was phenomenal; atmosphere quaint, and food was divine. Crowd pleasers included the complimentary bread with to-die-for olives, perfectly prepared calamari and shrimp (lightly coated with flour) appetizer, the huge portioned salads that were appropriately dressed and seasoned, the whole branzini, and salmon that melted in your mouth and the delectable dessert of ice cream with expresso. Oh, Frankie took our credit card too. One of our best dining experiences in Toronto while on vacation!

This place is all time !!

Wow, if only there were a sixth star I could select. The watermelon salad was exactly what I needed on a hot summer day, and don t even get me started about the pizza; thin crust, zero flop, extra basil a dream. Capping it off with the tiramisu was a no brainer. Only wish I lived closer so I could come more often!

Really delicious food, I would recommend cooking the pizza a little longer (last 2 times was a bit undercooked and had to eat with a knife and fork but the flavor was there) and also use fine salt on the pizza, the coarse salt was too salty when biting into a chunk of it.

Great long-standing local place with good food, good prices, good staff and great atmosphere! Cozy little gem of a restaurant with tables, booths and cozy nooks and crannies throughout. Awesome patio as well. Prix fixe for lunch is outstanding in price and value. Has become one of our regular haunts. Cash or debit only which we love!

Cant recommend Terraza enough. We recently hosted a private family event for our wedding weekend here, and the staff went above and beyond. Frankie was so easy to plan the event with, and we received numerous comments on the delicious food and amazing service from our family. Thanks Frankie + team for making it such a success!

My family and I just celebrated my daughter s baptism at Terrazza. We were a group of 17 and everyone raved about how good the food was. The service and cozy environment made for a great afternoon. We will definitely be back! Kudos to the Terrazza team, you guys are awesome!

Im a girl who grew up in Italy, so I know a lot about Italian food. First of all, the environment was welcoming. I have to say that the tomato pasta with garlic was a disappointment. The tomatoes were not fresh and they had used ready made sauce which didnt even resemble tomato puree. The garlic was so accentuated that you only tasted that, which is something that should simply be skipped in the oil at first. Luckily I asked for it to be al dente (it wasnt al dente) but edible. Im giving two stars because the tomato bruschetta wasnt bad. I doubt the existence of an Italian chef in this restaurant, there were anything but Italians. Canadians dont know the simplicity of a meal, the three/four ingredients. They like to put too many things in a dish that it no longer resembles natural and digestible. I congratulate the waiters, they were professional!! The other dishes are probably good, but I allow myself to judge only what I had.

Rebecca (and the whole team) looked after us sooo well. The food was delish and plentiful and their flexibility allowing us to decorate and make it our own was so appreciated! Thank you all!! I highly recommend if you need a space for a party for 65 ish people- this is fantastic!

First time customer. Great atmosphere. Loved hearing the kitchen staff singing Italian songs. Warm fresh bread with green olives was brought to our table. For apps we ordered Arancini, Calamari and the Verde pizza. All 3 were very good. For my main Penne with mushrooms with grilled Chicken. This was fantastic and would order again. The service was excellent. Very good home cooked Italian food.

WOW! What a gem this place truly is, we came in with a party of 6 people. We were greeted at the door by Frankie, Ashley and Ty all such sweet wonderful beautiful people. Frankie showed us to our table, as we were waiting to order they brought us warm delicious bread with these olives that are absolutely delicious paired with an olive oil dip. Our group orders a whole bunch of negroni s, old fashion, a couple bottles of house red wine and of course Peroni to sip on, to eat we had: La Familiga platter to share, fried calamari, eggplant ricotta, Caprese salad, chicken ceaser salad, gnocchi, shrimp linguine with mussels and a prosciutto pizza and OMG let me tell you, everything was spot on! We all were blown away by how authentic the food really was, the atmosphere is a vibe, the wine was endless and to top it off, they make their own tiramisu!!! First bite and I felt like I was on vacation in the Mediterranean Sea people watching, truly an absolutely mind blowing experience. Terrazza is a MUST TRY, date night, family outing, sweet 16 celebration they do it all and there is no way you will be disappointed unless you show up on a day their closed!! This place is a gem, kid friendly, patio is open in the summer time, cute lights and flowers really sets the mood. There is no place like Terrazza in the neighbourhood. If you haven t been to Terrazza I don t know what you re waiting for, this review is all you need and I think the owner is famous! Get over to Terrazza and ask to meet Frankie Lasagna, I promise Frankie and the team will take great care of you and your party. Oh and ask Frankie if you can try his arancini balls with his homemade sugo sauce. Frankie s got the best balls in the city! Dietary restrictions: Willing to accommodate everyone s diet as all the food is made fresh to order. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids, very kid friendly. Great place.

Everytime I come here I have a delicious and cozy experience. Everything is delicious but I m obsessed with the grilled calamari. The service is incredible, one of my fave spots for dinner.

Its a great neighborhood joint. Food is amazing. Ive had a variety of their pizzas and pastas, and Ive never been disappointed. Their burger is good too.

This place is wonderful and I have learnt from experience if you find a restaurant that has exceptional food when travelling it usually pays to go back and experience more of the menu. This is what we did and were glad of the decision. Superb place and relaxing atmosphere

The olives

A very cute place, beautiful decor with a warm and cozy feel to it. The food just wasnt great. I wanted it to be because the staff was friendly and the place very welcoming. Had the pizza and penne a la vodka, neither of which were worth repeating in the future.

The food was delicious! Family run restaurant. We were here early in the evening but they were fully booked by the time we left .. They had 2 large families book their tables. So dont let the empty restaurant in the pictures fool you!! The wine was delicious too. I had the sausage penne.. and it was fire . I am definitely coming back. Super cozy. a great date spot too.

Great experience! My friends and I were a little under-dressed for a Saturday night, we didnt realize until we went in. The restaurant is quaint and beautiful, the food was AMAZING and the staff & waiters were very friendly! Would highly recommend, and will definitely go back.

Best Italian restaurant in Toronto. Chef Massimo cooked for us . As an Italian myself, I felt like in Italy. We had pasta, seafood , mussels and tiramisu. Everything was top notch. Grazie Massimo and a big thank you to the whole staff. See you soon

Food was great but they dont take credit card. Major fail.

Pizza, pasta, salad, tiramisu.. tried it all and was extremely satisfied. Strongly recommend for a casual Italian seat or a date night. Great service too! My only feedback is the bread and olive plate should be much lighter on the garlic.

Love this place. If you want a homely restaurant that serves amazing Italian food, then bring the family here! Ive been there numerous times and have always found the food to be excellent, the service friendly, the prices reasonable, and the owner came out to socialize as well which added a personal touch to the place.

Fabulous food - beyond fabulous!!! The sauces were amazing. Shrimp appetizer was perfection in a garlicky marinara sauce. We were a large party and someone ordered the Uncle Pasti board (small joke) - wow, impressive. It s for 4 people. The mushroom penne was to die for don t miss it. The mussels were large, succulent and in a delicious wine sauce. Get some of the garlic bread and soak it all up. It s a must!!

5 stars just for the personality on Tim & Friends! Will definitely check out next Toronto visit.

Very nice location for an easy dinner. The waiter was very funny with lots of sense of humor. Not a great pizza but I was very hungry I needed that calories

Super disappointing experience. Called ahead around 10 days in advance to book a table for our anniversary, received a callback 2 days later to confirm. Arrived on the evening of our reservation to find the place was booked for a private event and no-one had called us to inform us that our reservation would be cancelled. We had taken an Uber and booked ahead for this event and to find that no-one had let us know about this was just really disappointing service.

We moved into the area 2 months ago and ever since I saw this cute little Italian restaurant across from Flock I knew I had to try it. We were looking for a regular weekend Italian spot. We called and made a reservation for 730 last Saturday night and were excited to try it. When we arrived we were seated at the bar. When our server/host came over, we kindly asked if we could move to one of the two open tables in the dining area. He told us no with 0 explanation. We asked why not if there was space and he replied because I sat you here . He did explain it was squished back there. But provided no options or solution and was very rude. Next time you could offer to move the guests when the first available accessible table become less free. When we said we were going to find another space to eat tonight he immediately removed the menus with attitude and said great . Obviously not our new regular italian spot. Such a shame as it s super cute and walking distance to our new home.

Nice authentic place run by Mr. Lasagna (real name :)). Warm welcome, but unfortunately the patio was not heated on the cold night we were there. Food was very tasty, but got cold quickly. We will definitely try back once the weather is nicer.

Tastes wonderfully authentic and the place has a quaint and cozy feel. Wished the menu was more elaborate (especially the deserts) but the pasta and pizza we had were great. And the drinks!

Great little, unassuming Italian joint. Relaxed atmosphere, unfussy food, all around solid spot. Its good, tasty, reasonably priced fare. Nothing will leave you blown away, but everything will leave you saying mmmm. The word I would use for my experience is comfortable, which I quite appreciated. Wife and I shared shrimp starter, gnocchi, arugala salad, bottle of wine, and had the berries & cream for desert. The complimentary olives were delicious (spicy garlic). Will definitely be back to try the pizza.

This restaurant is spectacular! It was one of our fave spots pre-covid but now it is a weekly tradition! Staff is so kind and helpful and the food is to die for! Can I give a 6th star for bonus points???

post co-vid patio experience was terrible- never mind the slow service- the pasta was overcooked and drowned in a pesto cream sauce that tasted like it came out of a jar. SO much sauce it was like soup!! And they added an 18% tip automatically, leaving me with only this as an option for feedback.

Solid spot for some Italian classics and has a good amount of patio seating even with physical distancing. Dining indoors is not a bad option either as they have large windows allowing for plenty of natural airflow into the space.

We got the margarita pizza, two pastas and a bottle of wine. The food and atmosphere is unmatched. The food tastes like your grandma cooked it. It s both delicious and satiating. Favourite place for home cooked Italian for years. Such a hidden gem.

Wow, what a spot its so good. I am happy its part of my Neighbourhood but I would come from further away if I had to I can tell you the place is worth the trip. After covied to site in there all on its own.

Food is excellent. Service was amazing. 4 of us each had a different dish, each one tastier than the others (I think my Tomato Pesto farfelle won out though). Absolutely recommend this charming Italian eatery.

So delicious!!! We ordered the La Fam Menu deal last night and it was incredible. Such great value for the price - roasted vegetables on the cheese and meat platter were perfect. Loved that the pizza was thin crust and we really enjoyed both our pastas! Cant wait to order from here again soon.

I had a margherita pizza and it was very hard and thin, quite bad choice. The restaurant was quite loud, and the waiter was even unfriendly. The restaurant is also in the middle of nothing.

Service and food were excellent. The place is on a busy street and is a little bit neigbourly but its good food and attentive service.we ordered a muscles starter. It was missed and came too late But they gave it anyway and did not charge.

Great lil patio, food and service! $5 mussel special on Tuesday. Calzone is huge and tasty, the spicy wifey cocktail is refreshing, perfect for summer. Patio has a lot of greenery which is a nice change from your average patio. Would def go back!

Such good food! Staff was really kind and accommodating. Great atmosphere and it was easy to find parking. I wish they had a a few more options for vegetarian or dairy free but I also didnt ask about substituting. Id go again.

Probably my favourite place, the atmosphere is really nice. We got there at 7pm on a Wednesday and it was dead but quickly became packed when we left. The food was delicious we both got pizza and bruschetta! Every other tables dish looked quite good so we will definitely be coming back! (Wednesdays they have oysters and they are fresh!)

Hosted my daughters and Godsons baptism there last night! It was absolutely amazing from the emails back and forth , the food was spectacular, servers were great at even helping keeping the little ones busy and atmosphere was sensational. Thank you very much. Even La Nonna was very please (and if nonna says its good than you know its good) again thank you so much it was a delight

Ive only been to this restaurant twice but that was enough to decide that this is one of my favourites, if not my favourite restaurant in Toronto. The vibe is wonderful. Dark inside but not too dark, small and cozy but not too small, the staff are incredibly friendly and it seems they can dress comfortably (particularly the women) which is a breath of fresh air when you think about all the women in the service industry who have to wear high heels and tight clothing in order to work at certain establishments. I ordered the salmon both times because it is THAT good. My friends and I tried each others food and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I HIGHLY recommend trying this place out. Youll have a great experience.
