So very, very, VERY glad I booked our office party here! It s always an easy spot where everyone can find something they like and the service is always good. But tonight? EXTRAORDINARY!!! Our server, Brian was super attentive, especially given how busy he clearly was, really knows his menu and wine list, but most of all SO FUNNY!!! We were out to celebrate after a tough few months and he really added the special je ne sais quoi we needed to kick start the holidays. From now on, it s Terroni Price (the best location of them all) and only Brian. I d rather wait a night for a table in his section. Mille Grazie e Buon Natale!

Went for dinner last night. Brian, our server, was lovely. So personable, funny and attentive. We had the funghi salad which was delicious and I had the spaghetti e limone which was so creamy and lemony. Ive been coming here for years and love it! We will be back soon for my birthday!

Very bad

I ve been to various Terroni locations over the years and this one is by far the best. The food is decent (didn t blow me away but it was good) and the atmosphere was fantastic. We received great service and our food came quickly. They have a patio that presents a beautiful view of the city which attracts many visitors during the summer. For food we got the truffle pasta, a margherita pizza and the ravioli which all tasted alright. Overall would recommend coming here for a date night!

Food was very good indeed. Was disappointed to be in an Italian restaurant where no ground pepper, grated Parmesan or even a spoon were offered with the meal. I would have asked, but the waiting staff was busy with other tables for the most part. Last comment is that it was so loud that a day after eating there, my ears are still ringing from all the noise. Not the best spot for an intimate dining experience.

Really impressed by this Terroni. The food was excellent. They don t allow for wine samples but our server was well informed with his recommendations. The pizza with anchovies was excellent.

I went to Terroni on Yonge Street.. The person in charge of greeting had a horrible attitude and answered to our questions in a extremely rude way. The waitress was a bit better but I personally dislike it when I am not treated with respect. It ruins the whole experience . What an unfortunate situation! Hope you are able to teach your workers some customer service musts

Terroni in Midtown is an absolute gem for authentic Italian cuisine. I went with a group of friends, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and lively, perfect for a night out. The pasta was fresh and full of flavor, and the pizza was exactly what youd expect from a true Italian joint thin crust and topped with quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our evening went smoothly. If youre looking for a genuine Italian dining experience in the city, Terroni is the place to go!

COLD FOOD. We heard such great things about Terroni but we were unfortunately disappointed. My risotto was on the small side but more importantly it was barely warm. My wife and daughter ordered pizza and both pizzas were cold. Not even warm. My wife ordered a glass of wine that was 3 ounces at most. What makes things worse is that we went at 445pm so the restaurant was not very busy. No excuse for cold food. Disappointing $200 meal for 4 people.

A wonderfull Dinning Place and good quality food with top notch service . In deserts i would specially recommend the Croissant Gelato . Resturant itself is divided into 3 area . Ground Floor Bar centrale which is more of suitable for cozy vibes and more secluded area . They run different breakfast menu but dinner is the same . Main floor (2nd) - Fun place to dine with great interior design . There are special private space also like the outside Fishbowl area , a private table away from regular tables and A whole priavte room. Patio (3rd floor )- Opened only in Summers . Main highlight of the resturant . Very nice area with city skyscrappers view . I have attached photo also . **For my Indians buddy** . I will not reccommend for you guys as Italian spice combination food taste is different from what we eat . You will not like it . Secondaly most items have beef and pork so ask the server before ordering . It does not mean food is bad , its just that something is not for us . So do think twice before coming for food . For drinks , coffee and deserts surely come here . Dietary restrictions: Resturant provieds gluten free nut free or some modification for allergy . But regular modification cannot be done here . Parking: There is a paid parking lot and a green p park on street also . Kid-friendliness: Some kids menu is also there . Like kids pizza etc Ask the sever . Wheelchair accessibility: wheelchair accessible till 2nd floor . You cannot access the patio with wheel chair .

Great food and really friendly service.

Service was ok, food was ok. I had only ordered their gnocchi and chickpea fries since this was my first time there and I wanted to understand what the food was like before ordering more. I had greater expectations, and since they weren t met, I didn t order any further. However, I did enjoy the ambiance and how the restaurant provided the laid back/calm European dining experience.

The quality of food was very average. Dishes weren t hot. The pasta was kinda hard on teeth. The waiter was not the best and seemed he was upset about where he works.

Always excellent food, attentive service, and a cool, vibrant atmosphere. One of my favorite spots in the city.

Made us wait on the patio for over 20 minutes with a baby in stroller, at a dirty table & no sight of a server at all to even greet us. We had to repeatedly ask to be sat outside when the hosts kept saying but it s tight meanwhile most tables outside were empty and there was more than enough space for a stroller fit beside our table. Annoying and slow is an understatement for the service of this place.

Went to Terroni just yesterday and food was mediocre at best. I can list a handful of restaurants off the top of my head that do Italian food proud not hype! reservations were for 8:00 pm and waited 20 minutes for tables to be cleared and set. Staff was great at defending and deflecting not accommodating. This was a special Birthday celebration dinner so let me thank Terroni on Queen for making it the most memorable for all the wrong reasons. I don t need a token dessert, just a pic that memorialized my daughter blowing out her Birthday candles and being able to share that cake with her friends and family. First time in my life where I brought a Birthday cake and wasn t allowed to serve it, never again!!!

They do not allow scooters or bikes for food delivery driver despite there being no logical reason to only allow cars. Do not waste your time with their poor quality overpriced food either.

Came here for a birthday dinner on the patio on the 3rd floor. Patio seemed to be more quiet than the main dining room. The food was excellent. Wish the portion was a bit bigger. Service was a bit rushed and could have been more attentive. Note this is not the best place to celebrate a bday as they dont really do anything special for you. You have to order a dessert and they will stick a candle on it for you. The Tiramisu was yummy.

Bar Centrale is an oasis within the factory like giant Terroni above. Quieter with a more concentrated Italian train station restaurant feeling. Fresh and solid food. Great wine list.

The food at Terroni is truly disappointing. I was particularly let down by the Branzino, which was not just subpar but downright embarrassing. It was so dry and devoid of flavor that I had to wonder who was responsible for preparing it. It s shocking that a dish like this could leave the kitchen in such a state. To make matters worse, everything on the menu is overpriced, yet none of the dishes feel like they ve been made with any care or passion. There s simply no LOVE in the food, and that lack of attention shows in every bite.

This was the worst Italian food I ve ever had. The customer service was terrible too. I m never going back.

Go for the patio and when thats closed go to the upper bar... Grab the thing on tap and hit it up for the aperitivo At the end of the day. This place is great and it always delivers fresh fantastic food... And dont forget to order the olives..

We visited Terroni on Yonge last night, and it was quite busy for a Thursday evening, which we expected given its reputation. The food was solid as always, but there were a few disappointments this time around. The truffle pasta, which I was really looking forward to, had the familiar shavings of truffle but lacked any of that wonderful, earthy aroma. It felt more like a garnish than a key component of the dish. Still, the rest of the meal was enjoyable, though nothing particularly wowed us this visit. What really stood out, however, were the prices. A basic negroni, after tax and tip, will now set you back $23! That s a pretty hefty jump from what used to be a good deal. For a group of four, we ended up spending around $550 this was without any cocktails or digestifs, just food and some wine. For those prices, we expected a bit more in terms of both flavor and overall experience. Terroni has always been a favorite of ours, but with the rising prices and a few misses on the menu, it s starting to feel less like the value it once was.

Food ok - pizza was overly chewy. In a group setting, you cannot be the person sending food back so I dealt with it. Service generally ok but when I asked for a pizza cutter (to deal with the over chewiness of the pizza), I was looked at like it was a strange request. Diet drinks dont exist there which is fair enough (their menu, their choice) but a strange omission given they serve Coke, so thats more an FYI for others. A rather off putting part of the experience is a statement on the menu indicating that menu modifications are not allowed because (in essence) you must eat the food the way we think you will like it. Thats fine for a Michelin star restaurant but somewhat surprising for a chain restaurant. Vegetarian options: Options exist but restricted given their policy for non modification of menu items. Parking: Green P Parking Lot across the street plus some street parking.

I love this place.

I might have a very hard paladar but is one of the worst Italian restaurants I d been in. First our Venezuelan server was not good at all. Secondly, drinks were expensive, the food was expensive and bad. It made me really sick and I couldn t go back to work after the Lunch! The only good thing in our table was the bread they gave us as a free appetizer and That s it. I ordered a salad which was okay but nothing tasty at all. Our pizza was so plain, soooo plain. It barely had ingredients on it!!!! For 25 dollars!!! The pasta was horrible to be an Italian restaurant. In general the food didn t have flavour at all. I was my first time in this place and honestly I won t be back. I don t understand the good reviews from other people. The place is cute and that s it folks.

The ambience of the restaurant is nice enough for a date, however, if you re a couple and come here for a date, you re most likely brought to a tiny table, that s the reason why we tipped the wine glass when opening the menu because the menu cover touched it due to tiny space. But the server was nice enough to help us clean the wine spilled on the table and floor and offered another glass. The beef carpaccio was amazing, we loved it, however the pasta was disappointing. I had the tonnarelli with truffle, it was extremely salty, the truffle shavings didn t smell like truffle at all. They called Italian sausage on the menu, but for me it s just ground pork. First of all, as others mentioned, roof top patio is so beautiful. Great atmosphere and view, day or night. I specifically love the tiramisu, probably best I have ever had. It s so light and creamy and melts in the mouth. We ordered the pasta with truffle mushroom and it was good both in taste and portion size. But we weren t fan of the pizza. Crust was good but the olives were extremely salty and there were not many artichokes on top.

Overrated and overhyped upscale restaurant with rude servers who use condescending language instead of welcoming and warm demeanour. Margherita pizza had 3 leaves of basil. Chickpea fries had 6 fries for $12, and when asked we were told no dips, not even ketchup . Complimentary bread, apparently baked fresh, was cold and stale served with butter oil and when asked, no balsamic!!

Family and I went for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Our server was great although accidentally knocked over a glass of wine which landed directly on my pants/top. We were shocked to see nothing taken off the bill or any offer to pay for dry cleaning to remedy the accident. The apps were good, the pasta dishes and steak were not good at all.

The service was friendly. The host who greeted us was accommodating even though we do not have any reservations. She gave us an option to have a drink at the bar and wait for a table in the upper dinning room or to seat us immediately in the lower dinning area. The server had some excellent mocktail suggestions for me. As well as wine recommendations for my friends that would pair well with their chosen dishes. The food and beverages were flawless as one would expect for Terroni. Its consistently good authentic Italian food

Early fall on rooftop with a good friend and two pieces of nicely grilled branzino filet - it was awesome!

I arrived on time to pick up a take-out order. Not only did the door guy refuse to let me in because they needed to attend to dine-in customers first, but he also ignored me for 15 minutes. When I asked to enter for the third time, he still refused and said, This is not how it works here. Quite a funny experience. Now my pizza is cold and doesnt even taste good.

Decided to try Terronis and lemme tell ya, that was a mistake. Made an order online and my delivery driver was turned away at the door because he didn t have a car which resulted in him cancelling the order and me waiting an extra FOURTY FIVE MINUTES. What kind of classist bull is that? Just shut up, cook the food, and send it to your paying customers, it really ain t that deep. Waited nearly two hours to find out your food is mid, at best.

A quick slather of olive oil on the crust would save the super dry pizza....and no prosecco by the glass anymore?? Cmon Terroni I can get a gls at a Firkin....

This place is run disastrously by the staff. I called beforehand to check if my service dog would be acceptable, which I was assured she would be if I had proper documentation. When I arrived the manager refused to let us enter despite our documentation because it wasn t printed. If they had specified when I called I would ve gladly brought her printed certificate but they didn t. Despite it being a clear communication breakdown within the Terroni staff they refused to take responsibility for their mistake and made us leave. I wouldn t go here at all.

Decent food and gorgeous rooftop/ atmosphere. However prepare to be patient. We were seated on the rooftop, on a Thursday, and there were not nearly enough servers to accommodate all the tables. We waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order. The only way to get service was to order everything all at once, since we knew we likely wouldn t see a server for another 20+ minutes. I do not blame the server, as the staffing simply was not enough for the amount of customers. Pretty disappointing for a pricy meal at somewhere I d expect to have this figured out by now.

Great night out at the roof patio. Group 12 on a Thursday night. The place was rocking! Service was great but slow at times but overall a great night out with great food.

This place is to die for! Food, service and environment were superb. Kudos to our servers Jordan, Sid and Gaga for engaging, cheerful and efficient service, despite the large number of people (50), from toddlers to seniors, at our birthday gathering. EVERYTHING was delicious and beautifully presented. Pizza, pasta, melanzane, mille feuille, the list goes on. Come hungry! You will not be disappointed. Cant wait to go back. Parking: Green P lot close by on Price St; lots of space. Wheelchair accessibility: An elevator is available for those using wheelchairs.

Started off with terrible service. Seemed like our server was annoyed that we walked in. Place was dead for a Saturday evening. Order a salad, meatballs, and ravioli. The meatballs were small, tasted like mud, and they would have to pay me the $21 to eat them. Ravioli was far from good and the salad was edible. I don t know why people say anything positive about this place. I d recommend to anyone that doesn t like well made Italian food and wants to bring back a meal for their dog.

We came for our double 30th birthdays and once we arrived realized I made an error on our reservation. Diana (or Deena Im sorry for the spelling) had everything sorted out for us in no time and made sure our night was still fantastic. Thank you for such great customer service :)

The food was good. Our wait staff was terrible. It took him about five times to correct our bill. The atmosphere was great but our wait staff made our experience not to.go.back again.

We sat on the street-level patio the other night. Nice ambiance and good drinks. Jack was an absolute delight! He helped us make sense of the menu with its many items wed never heard of before. Left satisfied and happy!

Terroni s is one of my all time favourite restaurants, I have been going with my family since I was a kid. Their service is always friendly and they have one of the best pizzas in all of Toronto. True Italian style pizza, and the pasta is also fantastic. Would recommend to anyone!

the food and service are great but its just very crowded.

Had dinner here on Saturday and it was fine. Best dish was a salad with wild mushrooms that we shared. Beet salad with a chickpea flatbread was pretty good. Wine was over the top expensive for a 5ounce pour. They could use some fans on the upper patio on hot nights - it was stifling hot up there

My suggestion is the first Monday of every month. We gather with a group of seasoned architects and structural engineers at this restaurants jazz event, and it s always a great time!

Despite specifying my seating preference when booking, we were seated right by the construction which is an opposite of what I requested. When we asked to be moved, the hostess placed us right next to the only other couple on the other side of the patio, even though the entire area was empty. And I understand you guy will say but we had other tables booked , but this awkward decision was baffling, especially since all the seats around us remained unoccupied for the next hour and a half which means we could have at least been moved one table over, not to disturb the other couple and give us some space for the business meeting as well. Additionally, when we requested to split the bill according to what each of us ordered, it was instead split 50/50. While I chose not to cause a fuss, it was not the outcome we had wanted as we ended up overpaying 100$ each plus tip. Terroni Price delivers a good dining experience in terms of food and ambiance, combining beautiful surroundings with delectable dishes. However, the somewhat perplexing seating arrangement and billing issue did detract slightly from the overall experience. Nonetheless, it remains a standout spot in Toronto, earning solid 3 stars for the culinary excellence and atmosphere.

Very disappointed tonight. I ordered cacci e peppe pasta. It tasted like spaghetti with butter. Presentation was terrible. My latte was cold. Thankfully my dessert was delicious. I dont know if Ill go back anytime soon. Our server was great, she didnt introduce herself, so I cant tell you who she was.

The pasta tasted very doughy. The service is very slow, but they could be understaffed. It really gives off the vibe of a place trying to be upscale, but the food & service are a few steps behind.

The white bald server at the entrance is racist, so just go to the downtown branch! Unless its white or bald :) My wife asked this guy if we can head upstairs because our friend was already here, he told us to wait. Other white families behind us asked same question a minute later and he sent them upstairs before us. This is not acceptable as we had a baby with us too.

The atmosphere was great

Over here people are so stupid. I came here to pick up the order and the girls on the front counter and just bussy in their gossips and they said me my order is going to take time and after 15 minutes. I asked them to check on my order and then they observed its already ready and in the food bags downstairs. Such a silly mistake because they are so curious and too much deep in their gossips. I paid for the food and got a cold food at the end. I think owner should rethink about the management.

I recently dined at Terroni Midtown and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was inviting. The gin-based cocktail I started with was expertly crafted and refreshing, specifically with the touch of lemon juice. My pizza with artichokes was divine, featuring a perfectly crisp crust and fresh toppings. I always got takeout with Terroni, but it was the same prosciutto and arugula pizza and I was never disappointed. However, I went into the restaurant and got pasta one day and it was very bland and disappointing. I will be sticking to getting pizza from now on. The service in the restaurant is amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Urgh, I cant put it into words every dish was so well thought out. We tried different appetizers, entrées, and pizza, and each one was chefs kiss. I never had chickpea fries before, and they were amazing. The tiramisu? Absolutely the best. We ended up having two bottles of wine and had such a great girls night out. The patios are beautiful, truly the best in the city. Even though it was full on my last visit, I have no regrets. Its a 10/10 for me!

I was very disappointed with the service here. I booked a reservation for my bf birthday and asked to sit on the patio, the woman seated us where there was no shaded area. I asked if we could sit by the shade and her response was no but you can sit at the bar . Mind you there were plenty areas available to seat us by the shade. I said no that s fine we will go back downstairs. The girl then took us to sit by the window where you couldn t pull the chairs out properly because there were boxes behind the chairs. The waiter didn t seem pleased to serve us. The bread had hair on it. The drinks weren t good. When asked if they do anything special for birthdays, the waiter said if you buy a dessert I can put a candle on it . We did not enjoy the service here and definitely won t be coming back.

Really good Italian restaurant! Authentic flavours! we tried two pasta, one Amatriciana and Tagliatelle ai funghi e burrata. Really really good! we really needed some Italian food to feel like at home. Molto buono!

Always an excellent spot (Summerhill location), the food was spot-on (i had pizza and my partner had the meatballs and eggs) and the Torta della Nonna was amazing as dessert. Always great service and ambiance, makes it for a pleasant and relaxing meal.

Love the food and the ambience!

My experience was marred by snooty staff, cold food and ridiculous protocol. I ordered a pizza which was delivered to my table in under 30 secs of me placing the order. Clearly this was not freshly fired in the kitchen and the pizza was a bit cold. I then asked the waitress if the pizza could be cut into slices to which she responded that s not how we serve pizzas at terroni s and refused to cut it. She then very snootily and condescendingly proceeded to educate me and asked me to unwrap the napkin where there would be a knife inside to help me cut the pizza myself! Thanks but no thanks for the unwanted lesson on table etiquette! I was already fully aware of the knife being available in the napkin, but wanted the pizza professionally sliced in the kitchen. I don t think this is a huge ask. The customer clearly does not come first, staff is arrogant and unwilling to adapt, additionally the food is below average at best . The clear lack in food quality doesn t justify the ridiculous serving protocol and the pompous/arrogant staff. I don t need to be educated on how I should eat lack lustre food by staff who don t understand what it means to provide high quality customer service/hospitality. The owner or management of this chain needs to seriously consider improving food quality and investing in staff training and building their emotional intelligence.

Pizza was great! Service was great and drinks were great! Would have liked balsamic to go with the olive oil for the bread but as my only complaint its a pretty minor one in an overall great meal

Recently had dinner here. Food and service was excellent (our server was a gem of a person). Learning Italian in the bathroom was a funny part of the night. Great tiramisu!

Went to the rooftop patio and loved it. Vibrant atmosphere and beautiful views of the area and city. Food was delicious, restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Great spot during the summer (the rooftop).

The food is always good. The only challenge we had was there is no option to get Prosecco by the glass despite the fact that they offer multiple spritz type cocktails (ie. they have bottles of Prosecco open at any time). Otherwise the atmosphere is great and the location is beautiful.

Worst service ..white security guy kept on starring at my 16yr old girl legs the whole time we were there. After I raised concern to manager he just apologized that s it. I am never going back to this restaurant.

Don t be FOOLED by their VEGAN menu. This restaurant is seriously lacking in any flavour. It s crazy because they can do all sorts of creative things like vegan cream sauces and cheeses. I ve travelled all over the world and had real Italian food that was vegan. This is not it. In Italy you can easily make pasta vegan without having it be gross gluten free corn pasta, I ve even made my own vegan pasta better than this with just flour and water. At this restaurant they unfortunately combine the gluten free menu with vegan, even though it was labeled separate from the gluten free menu and it didn t say the pasta was gluten free, that is what I ended up getting when order the Aglio e Olio. It s also crazy that in 2024 with at least 10 really high quality vegan cheeses on the market that this restaurant still refuses to add that to their vegan dishes. I would say last time I came to this restaurant 4 years ago that would make sense, but now it s pretty inexcusable and just lazy. I would argue cheese and cream are the main components in any dish and while the stuck up chefs here refuse to take meat off their pizza (that have a wide range of vegetables as toppings) arguing that it is the main ingredient yet they will take off cheese off the pizza for vegans and not replace it with anything it just is not worth the price. When you take away seasoning from meat, it s bland and disgusting right? Well that s the same for any other dish it s not the meat that makes it taste good it s the seasoning and flavours. Obviously the chefs here rely too much on their dishes tasting good by masking the flavour with meats. Also music was way too loud you can barely hear yourself speak and although the manager was nice at the end the waiter we had didn t know what he was doing and was rude and stuck up. The manager said the waiter could have come to him to ask about doing a vegan gnocchi and he just went to the kitchen right away and the kitchen refused. Seems like there is a disconnect between the kitchen and the management.

I used to be a regular at Terroni Balmoral over a decade ago. Since the move to Price, I ve watched it morph over the years from a lovely, friendly neighbourhood spot with top notch food and service into a shallow, overpriced see and be seen spot which would be better situated among the bars and clubs of King West. This is my first review because my Thursday evening 6pm patio dinner last week was laughably awful: I was situated below a speaker blaring dance music loudly enough that my friend and I had to shout to converse; I asked for a slight volume reduction and was refused on the basis of it being DJ night (at 6pm!). It took forever to get service after sitting. When we finally did get our food, they forgot to bring cutlery. Had to wait again. Service was scattered and distracted. One server racing away as I was trying to ask for a glass of wine.Filet of branzino (typically a reliable dish there) was tiny, bland and anemic and came with an awful side salad of corn and onions which was not in the menu description. Wine pour has been a long-standing problem; barely 5 ounces, prices consistently very high for wine that just isn t very impressive. Feels like they ve lost their way, become victims of their own success at the Price location. I will continue to go to Bettola even though the wine prices are still a problem at least they still know what they are doing in terms or service and atmosphere.

4.5. Great classic spot, been around forever. Amazing rooftop patio and classic Italian fare- always specials too. Atmosphere is lovely and service is attentive. Servers are knowledgeable and have typically been there a while. Like a many Toronto spots- more attention if you re ordering drinks, less attention if you re not. The busser s are good about refilling the water and they always leave a bottle on the table. Atmosphere is bustling throughout the restaraunt, the patio is also beautiful and a fun vibe. Great for people of all-ages (a little quieter outside which is nice). Food is great and they also have an allergen menu which indicates dairy free, gluten free, and vegan options- so accommodating and helpful. Aside from this they don t really ever make accommodations to the food. They re good about allergies - specifically helpful with a soy allergy. The bread is made in house and is delicious- ingredients listed on side of the basket. The food is consistent - some dishes really shine. Don t sleep on the funghi salad starter, the grilled calamari starter, the spaghetti a limone, or the bolognese. Cocktails are GREAT, albeit a little on the pricier side. A classic Toronto spot that always comes through. Vegetarian options: Many!!! Dietary restrictions: Really great allergen menu specifying- dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options

I need to preface my review by informing you I am a person of colour, black specifically and all times in coming to this restaurant have come with another black individual. I ve eaten at this establishment 3 times. The first time was a great experience. My date had made a reservation over the phone. No issues. The 2nd and 3rd time, I made the reservation over the phone. The second time, I had gone on a date, called ahead, asked if there was space within the next hour to make a reservation on the rooftop, standard seating for a party of 2, preferably close to the clock. The individual on the phone informed me that specific seating cannot be reserved, but there was ample seating and it shouldn t be a problem. Arrived and was informed by a hostess downstairs that there was only high top seating, which I did not find comfortable being of a shorter height but was informed that I had to wait some time to be seated. A white male, with the same reservation time as I had overheard arrived after me, was seated before me as he was told to head upstairs, and sat at a 4 seater standard table. I assumed he was waiting for a larger party. But for the 2+ hours I was there he only had one other individual join him. There were several 2 party standard seats available, when I asked, I was informed by a blonde curly haired hostess upstairs that they were reserved which was once again contradictory to what I was told that you cannot reserve specific seating on the patio. It took me asking 3 times for the hostess to finally move me to sit at a 2 seater standard table. I came back a third time, a party of 2, a reservation on the patio. This time there was a lot of people waiting outside. The blonde hostess was downstairs at the entrance this time. We all had the same reservation time, while some were walk-ins and were informed that we would have to wait a few minutes. As I waited, I saw party after party being called and informed to go to their seating on the patio. After 15-20 mins I asked the hostess how long I would have to wait and in a very rude tone was informed that I would have to wait a few minutes. In addition, a manager had come downstairs to ask all other parties outside if they ve been taken care of, except for ours. We didn t even receive a glance. After 10 minutes of basically being one of the only parties left outside, my date and I left. The second time coming to this establishment I felt unwelcome but did not want to attribute it to my race. Upon attending again, I felt even more unwelcome. As a person of colour we know when our treatment in how we are spoken to, in the fairness of how things are done, are due to our race. I ve been to many equivalently levelled and more upscale establishments in Toronto and have been treated well and with respect. I never leave reviews but I felt it necessary in this case as I really enjoy the food and atmosphere of this restaurant but the treatment due to underlying racism is sad.

Very delicious food

This is definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Toronto. The patio offers an amazing view of the Toronto skyline, which was just fantastic. The atmosphere, interior, and decorations are all wonderful. The food was also excellent. The beef carpaccio and the seafood pasta made with fresh pasta were both so good. The only downside was our server. She didnt make us feel welcome at all. She was unfriendly and quite rude throughout our meal, only smiling when she brought the check Despite this, we really liked this restaurant and we will definitely come back soon. Hopefully we can get a nice server next time! This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Toronto. The patio had a great view of the Toronto skyline. I also liked the ambience, decor, and decor. The food was also very delicious. Both the beef carpaccio and seafood pasta made with fresh pasta were exquisite. The arugula and prosciutto pizza was also delicious. Unfortunately, our server was not welcoming at all from the beginning, was grumpy the entire time, and was very rude when setting down dishes. The only time he smiled was when he brought me the bill... However, I really liked this restaurant and would definitely come back again.

Have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Amazing food, fantastic servers. Overall a great dining experience.

Very nice terrace, a little noisy

I heard great things about Terroni from a friend and decided to give it a try. Despite it being incredibly busy, we managed to make same-day reservations. Terroni appears to be a family-friendly restaurant, striving to accommodate as many people as possible. However, the close proximity of the tables and the presence of children running and screaming made it difficult to have a private conversation and fully enjoy the meal. For drinks, I ordered the Lilli, which sounded delicious but turned out to be very strong and less fruity than I expected. I also had a glass of wine but felt the portion was smaller than anticipated. We started with the fried calamari, which was good but slightly overpriced. My friend ordered a pizza with salami, which had great salami but the dough was off and quite burnt. I had the ravioli ai formaggi, which was undercooked although the sauce was fresh. For dessert, we were recommended the donuts, which were tasty but overpriced. Overall, my experience wasn t the best, likely due to the restaurant being very busy, leading to a backed-up kitchen and dishes not being at their best. I d prefer to wait longer for a properly done, warm dish. I might give Terroni another try on a less busy day.

Ive been writing Google reviews for over 10 years, and this was by far the worst experience Ive had. We had a booking for Fathers Day, but when we arrived, they seated us upstairs without mentioning that there was no brunch menu available there. After requesting to move downstairs for brunch, they said there was no space and no brunch service upstairs. We settled for lunch, but then they suddenly offered us a table downstairs, only to retract it moments later, after we moved downstairs, due to lack of space. We had a newborn with us, which made the constant moving even more inconvenient. Fed up, we decided to leave and I definitely wont be going back

Birthday dinner @ Terroni. Not a bad experience but have had better bday dinners. Food was very good but service seemed a bit slow. The place was packed and it seems like our server just had too many tables. What we didnt realize is how noisy the environment gets. We had a table of 8 on one side and a table of 16 on the other side of us. No fault of the restaurant but kids running around pretty much the entire time we were there. Just not a quiet place to enjoy a good dinner. Perhaps other nights instead of a Saturday or perhaps a later reso would be better.

Service was slow but food was good

I made a reservation, but it seems they were not aware of it. The food is average, and the service is bad. We waited for our food for about 30 minutes.

Excellent service. A little loud. Decent pasta. Free chilli oil and bread is a plus.
