Bright space for Italian dishes & traditional thin-crust pizzas, plus ample patio seating.
Vivoli is the perfect spot for a memorable dining experience! The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, making it ideal for anything from a casual dinner to a special celebration. The food? Absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared every time. Whether you're craving pasta or seafood, each dish is a standout. What really sets Vivoli apart is the service. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure you feel like a VIP from the moment you walk in. Their genuine care and attention to detail elevate the entire experience. Special shout-out to Missie and Ryan for providing above and beyond service every time I come in! If you're looking for delicious food, exceptional service, and a great vibe, Vivoli is the place to be! Trust me, you’ll be back for more!
Cozy and welcoming restaurant in the heart of little Italy. The food is awesome, the service was swift and prompt (thank you Ryan!). We had the spaghetti bolognese and penne a la vodka. The front windows open completely up to the patio and give the whole restaurant an authentic Italian terrazzo feel. Overall a great experience.
Nice patio upstairs, not crowded. service was fairly quick and the food tasted fine, not spectacular. Cheesecake didn't taste fresh, I would not take it again there. Otherwise everything was okay.
Absolutely delicious dinner! The gnocchi rose was fantastic and the sauce was amazing. The seafood linguine was also very tasty- the mussels had a really nice flavor and I liked the large roasted garlic chunks. We sat outside on their first floor patio, but were easily able to move inside when it started raining. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating too!
Had a pizza on this visit. Room for lots of people and groups. Sat upstairs on the patio. There's a patio at street level too. What a great view of the happenings on college Street. The pizza was a good size (I was stuffed) and had a thin+ crust. Both of us loved our pizza. The staff was attentive and gave us a few minutes extra when we asked for it. The tables were wide and spaced apart nicely. (Not crowded) Umbrellas shaded us from the setting sun. What a spot! They make a killer Aperol spritz :)
Food & drinks were delicious. We had pan seared calamari & funghi pizza. The patio setting is beautiful & service was great :)
I visited because it was Valentine's Day and because it is customary to eat Italian food. I don't know if it's as delicious as I thought. The mussels were out of season and had a strong fishy smell, so I sprayed the lemons until they withered. Ravioli was a bit salty. Rather, the wine was good. Because it was the freshest and suited my taste. Even in Valentine's Day, this was my first time in a restaurant with so much empty space. The staff were friendly and cozy.
Great portions for the price you pay!! Came here to celebrate a birthday and everything tasted fresh for our small group. You will definitely leave feeling full especially if you get the pasta or pizza. The pizza was cooked perfectly and it was fresh. Staff was friendly and service was a reasonable amount of time. Overall, nice play to get a spot to eat during the summer and you can enjoy the rooftop patio.
Great meal, well prepared with quality ingredients. We ordered pork ragout, everything pizza, penne a la vodka and chicken parm sandwich- the latter being the best sandwich I ve ever eaten!
Had quite a negative experience, food was bland and not very good, server was not experienced, place didn t feel like a nice Italian restaurant inside, and bill was a lot despite all this
We have been coming here for over a year. This place has always has a cozy atmosphere. The food has always been on point. Great pizza, fettuccine, meatballs, and bruschetta. The service we received from Ryan today was absolutely immaculate. Hands down 10 stars. Thank you!
Happy hour with drinks 5-7pm.
My rating is low because of a bad experience this mothers day. We ordered pizza and pasta dishes and couple bottles of wine. Atmosphere was nice but service was slow. I understand it was mothers day and they must have been busy. We found a hair in our pizza and we told the waitress right away. They took the pizza and we did not make a big deal. When our 300 dollar bill came we were still charged for the pizza. I asked for a manager and the waitress came back saying he is too busy and will not be able to talk to us. This was so disappointing. I asked her to please remove the charge for the pizza and she said it was not possible. The worst customer service I have ever encountered. We ended up paying the bill, they refused to take off the 20 dollar pizza. Horrible place. Would not revisit.
Friendly staff. The food was pretty tasty
Love the rooftop patio in the summer! Everything on the menu is great and reasonably priced.
We arrived early, asked to be switched to rooftop patio which we got. Service staff were very friendly and attentive. The menu options older traditional fare which we normally enjoy. Surprisingly for the cocktails they were out of several spirits (and the LCBO strike ended a couple weeks back). What we did drink was good. We had the Bruscetta for an app, the flavours were off and tomatoes over ripe and soft. Was not very good. Partner has a pizza, was little under cooked, the sauce had no flavour or seasonings and was acidic and the artichoke were huge chunks, too big to put in to mouth. I had the Chicken Parm but swapped the spaghetti for fettuccine. The chicken was so hard and dry almost like it was either microwaved or recooked a second time when reheating, the pasta noodles half very hard (not undercooked but dry like they were exposed in an oven). Overall the food was quite disappointing and we were surprised after looking at all the previous reviews. Food portion sizes are very large except the pizza size was just right. Not sure we would return due to the substandard food taste and quality. The rooftop patio and staff were great.
Absolutly delicious. Pasta was cooked to a perfect aldante, shrimp was also cooked perfect, very tender. 10
That was our first time at Vivoli, the experience was great. The staff is very friendly, our server Khi was helpful and made the experience even more exceptional. We had the Bolognese and Chicken Parm, both great choices, full of flavor. Will definitely come again.
I had lunch at Vivoli for the first time, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing - we started with the Mushroom Crostini with garlic and truffle, which was a delightful blend of flavors. For mains, we enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan and Spaghetti Bolognese, both of which were cooked to perfection and bursting with authentic Italian taste. The service was equally impressive; our server, Khi, was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly enhanced our dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend Vivoli to anyone craving delicious and authentic Italian cuisine served with top-notch hospitality. Its definitely a standout Italian restaurant that I cant wait to visit again.
Excellent cafe on College Street in the little Italy area. Service was quick and the atmosphere was electric during one of the Euro Cup matches.
The place itself and the service was nice. The pizza was terrible! They say the dough is properly rested but it was chewy. Overpriced!
We found this place walking by college street. The patio is amazing and the food portions are incredible for a decent price. If you want a moment of peace with good food and drinks. Vivoli is the place. Service is great and relax. Our server Jennifer was very good and fast. Definitely one of my top 5 places.
Great atmosphere, food, vibe. Favorite place to go
If you want a good view and a couple of drinks. Here is a nice place if you are around to little Italy. We just have beers and because we didnt have a reservation, we decided to sit in the bar area. Service nice. And cold drinks. What else you can asked? We didnt have any food but so far looks that the food its tasty.
It was such a great meal. Donovan was the best server you could hope for!!! Will definitely come again.
Beers and Pizza were great! Had an awesome time on their rooftop patio with a couple friends. Donovan took great care of us will definitely be back lots over the summer!
Great food, excellent atmosphere
The GM and staff were amazing. They accommodated our large group, no problem. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. I recommend the muscles and Sangria White! The atmosphere and mood was exactly what we have always looked for. The drinks were perfect and fairly priced. The music matched the mood. The GM made us all feel welcome and at home. We were celebrating a wedding and two birthdays. Our waitress kept us happy and provided great company. This place is a must see!!!
This place is awesome!!! We re from Texas visiting and my group was huge! Service was on point as the GM was super generous! Love this! I ll be coming back for sure if ever com back to Toronto!
Had a great time on the rooftop patio last Wednesday. First class service from Donovan, will be back soon!
a taste of italy
The service was amazing, especially Fred who showed us true warmth and hospitality . Nice vibe for a date night or out with friends .
Love this place! Their muscles are delicious and they have different specials every day of the week.
Delicious
Had dinner here with a large group of friends. I had the shrimp Alfredo with a margarita and sangria, with Tiramisu for dessert. All of the food and drinks were AMAZING! The tiramisu was delicious and the best I ve had! All of the staff was welcoming as soon as we walked through the door! Our waitress was on top of everything and made sure we had everything we needed. The GM was amazing as well! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants great food with great friends. We will be back!
I ate at Vivoli during Taste of Italy festival. Even though it was crazy crowded, the server was really nice and helpful and the food was great.
I went yesterday because it was the shortest restaurant line. The overweight Asian man working the line-up was utterly rude. He appeared to hate his job and his life and took it out on customers, at least with my group. A friend told him we needed a table(s) for X amount of people and he kept yelling at us that we all had to be here repeatedly and that we wou only get 2 tables side by side, which we didn t have a problem with, but we told him we still had 2 people that needed a table. It s busy, but it s not like anyone s budding like it s a Boxing Day sale. My friend told the others and one that wasn t there initially was trying to understand the situation and we just wanted to make it clear that although he said we can t sit together that we have enough tables for everyone and he yelled at her too. Once the first table was seated (I was in this group), I later heard him yelling and turned around to see him yelling at the rest of the group and he later came to our table and made a HUGE scene with other customers by yelling at us. He said my friend, our table lied and that an extra pension showed up jumping the line, etc. and this was when we finally understood his crazy ranting and raving. My friend calmly asked him why he s telling us when he should talk to them, and he continued to yell and say because we re with them. I had enough of his nonsense and didn t ask my friends after because it just ruined our day, but they got confused and all walked in together for the other table, but I wasn t there so IDK and he went nuts and I think he did a POOR job of letting them know since he expected us to play telephone with everyone in the lineup as he yelled at us when he should have calmly said guys this is what s going to happen . The others left and actually they had a better time at a different restaurant nearby that I was jealous. The food wasn t good at all. Friends had a white pizza and said they dough wasn t fully cooked and was also dry. My chicken parmigiana was acceptable, but not great as it was bland and the menu choices sucked so I didn t have much choice. I didn t ask my other friend about her pasta, but she didn t eat earlier and was famished since it was late afternoon now. I wish I didn t stay and left. I was just hot. Our waitress was nice and that was the only positive out of this horrible experience. Do yourself a favour and skip this restaurant if you want decent food and not to be yelled at before and during your meal.
Great time and great food service was excellent Food : 5/5
Great Pizza and server was amazing.
Thank you to the Vivoli team for hosting me and my family during the taste of Italy festival. Our hostess was incredibly attentive and the manager made sure all of us had a great time. Will definitely be back!
Awesome experience! Went for a friends birthday and it was delicious! Very pleasant staff as well! Loved it!
This place is absolutely amazing. The pan seared calamari was to die for. It was cooked perfectly and the quality was amazing. I only wish I had some bread to soak up all the sauce. The lovely waitress had recommended the mussels as well, I will have to try it next time.
The Pizza was amazing and the service even better.
Enjoyed a delicious meal on the side patio. Ryan, our server was a joy and the space was a perfect combination of outside/sheltered/action and quiet.
SUPER place, stopped by on Monday to have a drink with my girlfriend whos from out of town for the long weekend as we were strolling on College. Elsa our server was so nice and recommended their Monday special of Aporol spritz. We had only planned on coming out to have 1 and a walk but ending up having a couple more and just relaxing on the patio. The patio is nice and we saw they had a rooftop but had been full. Definitely will be back to enjoy that. Neither the less the lower level was just as nice. I would recommend this spot for a cute date night.
Pizza is amazing. Traditional wood oven Pizza, great flavour
Bolognese pasta was good, a bit over cooked in my opinion but the sauce was really good. However, the pizza taste like nothing.
Very kind and professional serving staff. Subpar pasta and pizza.
Bartender was great tonight but the owner (max or Matt), was pretty rude. Bad vibe
The whole team at Vivoli was excellent in organizing our birthday dinner celebration last night! Fred and Mike were GREAT with communication & accomodations. Missy was our server and she was a superstar. She ensured our party of 12 was content and well-taken care of. Will definitely return!!!!
We were a group of friends visiting a charming and relaxing restaurant. The staff was welcoming, and the food was quite good.
Went for a friends birthday dinner and had such a lovely time! They have a nice covered patio with a heater in the winter that was super cozy. Our server Giovanna was so professional, attentive, and friendly. She took great care of our large group, always checking in at the right moment and making sure our drinks were topped up. The night went seamlessly thanks to her! The food was excellent, Ill definitely be coming back.
Tasteless food.service is below average.dirty washroom
Celebrated my husbands birthday here. We ate on their heated patio and it was bonkers beautiful. The food was really delicious and the staff was beyond awesome. Couldnt recommend enough!
Ordered calamari . It was smelly
Owner is super nice and you can tell he really cares about the place! He was super attentive the entire time. Food was also amazing
The manager Freddy is the worst manager Ive ever met. One of the staff was acting inappropriately towards us and I complained to him and his answer was sorry I have to take my staffs side because we are a team. So the paying and returning customers are not a care to him. Worst manager Ive ever met. Used to come in with my co workers and my friends all the time, now we will never return again.
The service is wonderful, the portions are large and the prices are good!
Amazing restaurant, had such a positive experience. Staff are some of the kindest I ve ever met, had a great birthday celebration there with a complimentary treat from Fred (the manager) and our waitress Missy was extremely kind, not too overbearing but also there when we needed to ask her for anything. The drinks were amazing - highly recommend getting the bourbon and the Limoncello martini! Pizzas were great too, you get so much food for what you pay for!
The experience here was so welcoming and warm. Ilza the bartender was so sweet and really knows how to make a great cocktail. They were very attentive and made the experience memorable and special. Would definitely recommend this spot, super cute for a date night.
Vivoli has always been my go to restaurant on College. I believe they changed owners/chefs and their food is definitely not how it once was :(
Great food and service
Below average pizza. Flat beer.
The food was delicious. I had the Rose Gnocchi which was so tasty. Ceasar Salad was perfect. And the best part was dessert: the caramel cheesecake was sublime! Also our server was so lovely!
A lovely Italian restaurant with a pet-friendly outdoor patio. Great wine and delicious oysters! Kind staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Very fair prices for Toronto, making this the best go-to restaurant for a nice dinner in the area. Loved it, will definitely be coming here often.
Food was excellent and the service was great. Our waitress was very friendly as we had two young children with us. Highchair was provided and the street atmosphere was interesting. Kid-friendliness: Highchair for the 1 1/2yr old and special cups.
Lovely staff, great location and amazing food. What else do you need!
Wonderful! The penne with chicken and mushrooms is sensational! Note 10
Drop by during Taste of Italy- super busy and sunny hot ! Amazing service and food/drink were great! The best patio on College! Highly recommend!!! Food : 5/5
What the delecious plates(pasra and pizza) sessioning with extra olive oil, parmisan cheese and black pepper! I will defenately back to this place.
Really really amazing little Italian in little Italy the food was amazing and was exactly what we expected and more we were very happy with the service I cant rememeber servers name but he was greek/Italian man from montreal and he was very pleasant to talk to and a very good server ! Would definetly recommend this place! Thanks vivoli we will hopefully be back
Great vibes, better Italian food in the city but still really good
Had dinner with the family at Vivoli and we enjoyed very much. The food was great and the patio is pleasant to sit in.
Great food
Things have changed...my wife loves the grill calamari, they have not had it on the menu the last several visits. The seafood pasta sauce is not the same. Location is great, the server Cristo was fantastic. In my opinion, they should bring back the original chef, concentrate equally on the dishes as they do on the pizza. This review asks which dish Id recommend...grill calamari, this should be taken off the recommendations...hasnt existed and was told they dont think its being brought back. Wont be returning unless the menu changes.
Great italian menu, second floor patio has Nice view on Little Italy.
Christophe is a nice guy
What happend here? Core of little Italy? Horrendous pizza... How do you make pizza not look or taste like pizza...(that may be an achievement in it self)
Love this place! Food is great and the staff are super friendly. Rooftop patio is lovely.
My boyfriend I and went to Vivoli this Monday night where we received not only incredible service but amazing food as well! Apps were half price from 4-5pm so we started with mussels and then got their calebres pizza to share. We ended the night with an amazing Sicilian dessert (consisted of espresso, gelato and amoretto) recommended by our server and it didn t disappoint! We will be back :)
Vegan food here was Delicious!!! Thank you!!!
alex our server was fantastic. she kept on checking in and always made sure we were doing okay. we sat on the rooftop patio and she gave us amazing drink recommendations as well. 10/10 would go back
Great upstairs patio. Food is average. People generally come here to drink after work.
Love the rooftop patio overlooking college street. Great food, ambiance and service . High recommended
Love this viby rooftop patio on College and somewhere. Chill spot to drop by on a sunny noon.
Eh the pizza was too chewy but still had good flavour. There s definitely better options if you walk down the street but I guess it s nice for a place to catch up with Friends.
Great party, food was awesome.
Very overcooked chicken parm
Food and service were very good.
Rooftop patio is a gem
Excellent service Mussels QUATTRO STAGIONI Rooftop 1/2 price bottle wines Wednesday Location
I ordered from Uber Eats and I have no complaints. The Chickem Parm and Rosé Gnocchi were both incredible, really tasty with the perfect amount of salt and seasoning. They even sent some nice bread with was amazing with the leftover sauce from the gnocchi at the end.
Just had a fantastic meal at this Italian place. Tried the fettuccini with basil sauce and the penne with mushroom sauce both were spot-on. The service was great, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend for a satisfying Italian meal.
This place was awesome! Am incredible Italian meal with super friendly staff. Each course was amazing from appetizer to desert. The gnocchi was incredible and the chicken parm was big enough for two. A warm atmosphere on a quiet Sunday night! If we ever get back to Toronto we will absolutely come back!
The food was delicious. I highly recommend the pizza and ravioli. Even gnocchi was superb which is usually disappointing at most places so that was a pleasant surprise. Vegetarian options: There are veg options available
Love this place ! Ask for Fred, he ll definitely make your time a good time ! We came to vivoli for dinner as we were celebrating my sisters 23rd and after meeting Fred and the team at vivoli we didn t want to leave ! Highly recommend !
While i dont have any pictures of my pasta, I came here for dinner with a friend on a sunday evening and to our surprise it was quite empty (which made us happy as we were less concerned about being around alot of people) We got our choice of seats and the server was kind enough to put on the sunday night football game as well. we ordered a bottle of white wine and both got the seafood pasta - and neither of us were disappointed. the flavour, and seafood to pasta portion was perfect. definitely a recommendation from my end - really enjoy the ambiance and service here!
Vivoli has my favourite pesto cream sauce. I almost always get the same thing whenever I come here and add shrimp. Was here last night and some months ago to have a birthday dinner. Service is always kind!
EXCELLENT meals and desserts. Staff was attentive and patient.
Very nice staff and awesome and tasty food too. Nice find ij Little Italy on family day night
Great spot for Italian food. Server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Well priced too! Would recommend :)
Great pizza we had a great Evening. Prices we good service was great. Recommended. Will be back.
100% recommended we had 2 type of pasta. The one with Pesto sauce was amazing, however the other was yummy too As you can see on photos the portion of plates was more than enough and their price was also fair. For dessert we tried the Tiramisu with black tea. The tasted like real Tiramisu and that was because of the Vodka they used to make it. Tea was so so but I liked the way they served it. And lastly the waitres were so nice and pleaser folks
Very good restaurant .
Gnocchi was decent. Sauce was thick and creamy and not overly acidic. The texture and ratio of gnocchi size to sauce was ok. Bread basket was just enough. Bruschetta was straightforward. The steak though... watery is the only way I can describe the texture and absence of any flavour except for this overwhelming bitterness of the char on the surface of the steak. No flavour in the accompanying vegetables except for being overcooked and the potatoes were flavourless. Considered salt might help, but an indecent steak is an indecent steak. No complaints about service.
Food is amazing!!! We ordered about 5 dishes and every one was better than the next. Portions were plentiful to share and the staff treats you like family. Definitely will go again
Amazing service and food! I love the way these owners vamped up the place and vibe - Kendall is the sweetest and so fun! Their red sangria is a must try and their food is sooo yummy
The linguine bolognese was delicious
The service was impeccable. I wish I remembered our waitresses name because she deserves a reward! The food was very well made and ambience is fun and lively! I d recommend the ravioli stuffed with butternut squash in a sage brown sauce. Calamari is also delicious.
Had a pasta dish - good; friend had a pizza - was excellent .. A little overwhelmed at the noise level & the busy tight dining tables
Your average pasta. Staff is super nice though!
Amazing vibes! We had Alana as a server and she was so kind and made great cocktails! The Formage e Salumi was a delicious appetizer of meats, cheeses and olives which really matched our delicious martinis and Moscow mules! Best Moscow mules in the city. Friendliest servers in all of Toronto! Dont miss out on this great gem! If youre looking for a restaurant that has great vibes, friendly servers that make you feel right at home this is the place for you!
Great upstairs patio. Awesome service and food. Will go again
Pretty consustent quality, service and athmosphere. Staff is great, food is also very enjoyable and patios give you a nice leasure feel. Conveniently located it is an easy choice to enjoy College St.
When my gnocchi came I noticed a weird smell .. like mildew or mold. I thought it was odd but ate the dish anyway without a word to the server or my dining companion. As I was eating it I kept smelling it, but the pasta tasted OK so I kept quiet. When it came time to leave my dining companion packed up my leftovers for me and mentioned she smelled mold. So clearly I wasn t crazy. Feeling gross about this situation and wish I said something from the start but I wasn t sure if I was just crazy for if something was truly off !
This place is amazing the rooftop patio is lovely. The service is amazing the girl at the door Dea is great, I can t be more happy about her service. The food was also good 200% recommended.
Amazing experience, great food. Our waitress Rebecca was phenomenal!!! So so so sweet!!!!!! Had a horrible experience at Zitto Zitto, however Vivoli made it all better!!!!! Family restaurant- Highly recommend - Ask for Rebecca!!!
This place arguably has the best rooftop patio in Little Italy. The food and drinks are great, and the service is excellent. I had the Margherita pizza which was very good, nice crispy thin crust. Definitely recommend for a group!
Pasta, pizza and mussels were all good. The cheesecake was amazing and our server named Allana who looks like Halsey was fantastic. Place is nice and cozy as well. Definitely a must try!
This is a favourite restaurant of mine, and has been since my first visit years ago. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is a great vibe, and the service is beyond lovely. We often bring our parents when they are in town and they always look forward to the visit! The server we usually have has short brown hair - I haven t caught her name yet surprisingly, but she is absolutely fantastic - and wish I knew it so I could give her proper recognition :) will always be back!
Visited during a very busy street festival. Even with a line to get a table the food still came out without delay and the service was great. The bruschetta and margarita pizza were fresh and delicious. Looking forward to going back and trying more!
Good food. Excellent service. Nice Patio. Green P parking available behind the restaurant. Parking: Green P Behind the restaurant.
1st time coming here, just for basic drinks, on Sat July 23rd. Our waitress alanna was absolutely amazing, so friendly and real, shes a reason people will want to come back
Been coming here for years as I live down the street and it has never been anything other than amazing. Saturday night we came here and service was absolutely awful! Walked up front to ask for a table and the manager said it would be about a 30 minute wait, took our names down and we waited. When we finally sat our service from then point on was absolutely garbage. Our server was the worst person I ve ever seen in the service industry! Nothing but attitude!! We waited about 45 minutes for our main course after finishing our appetizers. When asked how much longer it would be, our pasta was conveniently ready. Tables getting sat after us that ordered more then us were getting their food before us. When we finished our mains, he came across and asked if we wanted dessert and we said no that it was alright; he then dropped off the bill. Felt like we were being rushed out. Then when it came time to pay he didn t know how to split a bill. When trying to explain to him how to split it - his response full of attitude was maybe when you ask for the bill you let the server know WE NEVER ONCE asked for the bill, we actually wanted to order more food but, he just dropped it off after we declined dessert and walked away. When he came back to take payment we were explaining how to divide the bill, he then went inside flaring his hands around to the manager and never came back. After waiting about 10 minutes, we asked if our bill was coming and someone said they would go ask. Then Mr. attitude came back threw our bills on the table with it being all wrong from how we explained and walked away. We had to go inside and get it fixed before proceeding to pay. As we left another table stopped us and said how he was incredibly rude to them as well. He in no way deserved the tips left for him. He s absolutely garbage! Vivoli is a staple restaurant that s been around since I can remember. I would highly consider not keeping him around. Just bringing down the business. If he can t do his job professionally he shouldn t. Taking up a spot from someone who actually loves their job and can do it well.
I love the server Kendall! She makes us feel at home and so welcome! She s so down to earth! Besides the fact that the food is great and the vibe I m just really fortune to have the opportunity to spend the long weekend enjoying college street patio life at Vivoli
Excellent food, great service and cool ambience on a Thursday night.
Nice and friendly atmosphere, nice server and high-quality foods
Great pizzas and pastas Tiramisu great Great welcome
Food is great as always. Our server/bartender Raven is actually amazing. She s always attentive and literally makes the experience at the restaurant. The rest of the staff is great super nice and you really get to know them as people and not just people serving you. Love all of them
Food was good. Drinks expensive. Service excellent.
We had such great time at Vivoli Staff were so friendly and helpful The place and atmosphere was nice Foods were fresh and delicious Follow me on Google Maps for more reviews! My Instagram: mortgagebyarghavan
Fun staff, music and lively nightlife
Kendall was AMAZING! She was welcoming and friendly and truly went above and beyond! The food itself was awesome! Fresh seafood and pasta with just the right amount of love cooked it! Loves it! Highly recommend the Romeo and Juliet!
The rooftop patio is incredible! Wish they had more vegan options.
Hosted a going away dinner for a coworker on the beautiful rooftop patio. 10 people in total. Our service was attentive, fun, and quick. Ordered the brushcetta to start, shared some pizza and pasta and then finished with delicious desserts. All of the food was tasty and hot. The environment on the patio was awesome with good music and a gorgeous sunset. I will definitely be bringing my friends!
Absolutely delicious pizzas and charcuterie board. A wonderful patio in a lively part of town. The service was warm and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
I really appreciated the diner there. Good vibes, good staff and good food. I recommend the draft beer and pizza.
Great food, great service! My husband and I really enjoyed it! We will definitely be returning.
Linguini genovese was fantastic. Great place for a summer afternoon that calls for some Pinot Grigio.
One of the best coffee spots in the city Great service in a cool neighborhood
This is a highly recommended restaurant that is easily one of our favourite Italian restaurants, if not our favourite. The food is so delicious and clean, and the servers are very nice, polite, and attentive. I only had one issue with them once, where the grilled calamari was not cooked enough for me. The following time, I just had to request to have it well-done, and it was great. I tried their PEI Mussels (in tomato sauce) appetizer and their Romeo and Juliet main last time we went there, and all I can say is: Yum yum yummy! Highly satisfactory!
Cozy place with a lovely patio on top. Friendly atmosphere and warm staff. The food is delicious and the portions are fair compared to the money you spend. Kid-friendliness: Margaritas with added Mozzarella
Delicious Italian food and great upper outdoor deck. The bruschetta was a delicious appetizer and the pastas were all done to perfection. What more can you ask for?
Omg .. absolutely love this place! The atmosphere was awesome we had come in from Winnipeg and we re looking for somewhere in Little Italy to eat and a friend had recommended Vivoli! Thank you so much for making our visit a wonderful experience the food was awesome, service was great, and the Ambiance was beautiful on the rooftop. The Winnipeg gals!
The place looks great from the outside, but the food has no flavor Our chicken parmesan was, somehow, flavorless and served with an extremely bland tomato sauce. The salmon was fishy and overcooked, then plated with nearly raw, unloved, vegetables. Very disappointing.
great food and customer service
Good food and a good venue for dinner by the street. The prettiest waiter Ive seen works here. But the service was a bit slow because the place was very busy.
Great services . However , I ordered Alfredo pasta with Shrimps and I got food poisoning. I am sure something was wrong with Shrimps :(
PRO TIPS: This place is something special. Were talking flavor elevator special. Take your mouth to the 2nd floor rooftop to take in the sunsets on the roof of Vivoli. Romanitize how it would be to live in the Toronto neighborhood of Little Italy while treating your tummy to a party of Italian flavors. LOCATION/PARKING/UBER: Before you go to eat Vivoli, arrive early and walk the streets of this neighborhood called Little Italy. Arrive at least one hour before sunset so you have time to visit the people, enjoy the street vendors selling flowers and produce. A visit to Vivoli is like the cherry on their cheesecake in Little Italy. Vivoli has such a hipster vibe - especially when you take in the sights, smells, and energy of this place. Reservations are a must on busy nights. Arrive before sunset and request a seat on Vivolis rooftop. Vivoli is located in Little Italy which is nestled in between the hip, trendy oasis of Trinity Bellwoods & cozy Palmerston. Therefore parking is tight and can be difficult to find at times. Plan to park on the street, therefore give yourself time to find a spot. If you Uber here from Downtown Toronto expect to pay around $17- $24 during peak hours / surge pricing. START: with the free fluffy bread with SUPER HIGH QUALITY olive oil - that will relax your taste buds. The best prepared drinks at Vivoli are the Moscow Mules. Vivoli has this hipster pocket of culture in the heart of the city so start with their Moscow Mules to get into the vibe. FOOD: your taste buds need a vacation so pick something. Your options are varied and the Chef is very talented here so nearly everything should be tried at least once. They offer a variety of pastas, wood fire pizzas (margherita is polished), seafood linguine, grilled calamari & shrimp plate, however expect a minimal selection of vegetarian options. Food is served HOT, presented in museum quality with PORTIONS ABOVE average in size -- so come hungry and elevate your taste on the rooftop. SERVICE: this is the real diamond here. You will be treated like your family. You fine attentive staff, fast refills, and wait staff that cares about your special evening. Groups can be accommodated. A clean bathroom is available on the rooftop.
Food was so good. I recommend the spicy pizza, and the gnocci
Was better
Came here to grab a meal with friends. Were quickly seated, seats were a bit tight with little room for jackets and purses. The seafood was nicely done, pizza was delicious. But the pasta was a bit overcooked and the steak was chewy.
This place has changed over the years, the quality of food and service isn t the same, even the atmosphere has changed. I was disappointed especially in the quality of food
Will visit again
The atmosphere, the food, the drinks, but most importantly, the STAFF. This is hands down the best service that I have ever received in Toronto and 100% plan on returning and suggesting it to anyone I talk to. Kylie, Jeff, the Britt and the gorgeous hostess (looks like Billie Elish) were on TOP of their game. Such a delightful night. Cheers
Food 9/10 - Service 5/10
Great service and the seafood platter is to die for!
Great upstairs patio. Friendly service. Cocktails were well made. Calamari was exceptional! Calabres pizza was ok. Vodka sauce pasta was quite good. Bolognese sauce was flavorless and bland.
This place is AMAZING! My fiancee and I booked the rooftop patio for our small engagement party just over a week ago. The staff are really fantastic here. Super friendly and efficient. Just really welcoming and lovely. Mike, the General Manager, was so easy to plan the party with. We definitely felt like we were in good hands. The food is DELICIOUS. Cant go wrong with any of the pizzas or pastas. The Pizza Alla Vivoli is our favourite-goat cheese, chicken and roasted red peppers-YUM! They know how to make a tasty cocktail and theyve got a good beer and wine selection too. Shoutout to Mike, Kendall and Billy for making our night so special! Thanks guys!!! Go here, you will love it! Claire & Patrick :)
I love the grilled calamari and the seafood linguine with tomato sauce. It is a big portion. Three pieces of medium sized calamari with greens so its good for sharing. The strong grilled smell and taste really surprised me. The chef has done an amazing job. I was amazed how good value the seafood linguine is. A lot of restaurants overcook the pasta but they dont. I get so sick of overcooked pasta and it can ruin the whole dish. There are two GIANT scallops, a few medium sized shrimps, almost one piece of medium sized calamari , surrounded by mussels. I have had a lot of seafood linguine all around Toronto. NO restaurants would give GIANT scallops like they do! Its absolutely good value! I couldnt wait but went there a few times within a month. Now that I am writing this, I am craving for it again. Lol.
Fantastic Food and the staff is even better. We were served by Jen who was charming, friendly, attentive and quick. She deserves a raise. Everything we ordered was delicious. Such amazing patios with lots of room to spread out and some are covered so you can still be outside in the rain. Highly recommend
Excellent food and service. Nice place with great atmosphere...
The pizza and pasta were tasty, but nothing special. I would highly recommend asking for the spicy olive oil. Drinks are great.
We came for a friend s birthday - great service. Very accommodating to our group and the food & drinks were great. Highly recommend this place!
great food and friendly staff!
Love this place
Pizzas not like it used to be with its new Oven, love the old school and Original Wood Fired Brick Oven,,,Dont know why they would change what made them so special,,,Will not go back and dont recommend it, horrible swrvice as well.
Good food, decent prices. Nothing out of ordinary. It s not going to wow your taste buds but it will not disappoint as well. The second floor has good vibes for summer and warm weather. The service is good as well, the staff is attentive.
Great wood fired pizza. Pasta dishes are big and served very hot. The grilled calamari and shrimp plate was gone first. The table olive oil is high quality. There are many places to try, but this is a must stop.
Came here recently and tried the butternut squash ravioli. One of the best things I ve eaten all year! The cocktails were also tasty and the prices were great. Highly recommend.
If you want to enjoy Little Italy this is the place to be...especially on their rooftop patio. Excellent food, service, vibe and atmosphere!! Ive had most of their menu items and i was never disappointed!! Upper and lower patios are also heated
One of best pizzas in Toronto
The service was A 1, casual, friendly. The food was just on the + side of ok.
The servers were very pleasant and the food was very good. Everything came hot and I was full when I left. The prices are very reasonable. Try the wood fire pizza all the food was great and great experience.
