What an amazing and welcoming sushi place. The owner is an absolute delight and the sushi was so delicious, and good portions for the price you pay. Will be coming back!
The miso soup, wakame salad, and sashimi were all very good quality. The chef was attentive and the service felt warm and personal. But everything was served in plastic to-go containers - even for a dine in meal - and the chairs are made of flimsy plastic that feels uncomfortable - it negatively affects the experience. And it also makes you question the $30 pp price tag.
Best sushi I’ve had in Toronto so far. I had a lunch special and the fish was perfect, full of flavour and melted in the mouth.
Best sushi in the Bloor West Village area. Great quality, reasonable price. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The House Roll, the Black Dragon Roll, and the Windermere Rolls are my personal favourites. It's a small, family-owned business, situated a little ways back from the main street. I only found it because of the positive reviews, and it definitely deserves them.
Great quality for the deals offered. The fillings to rice ratio is on point and have ordered from here multiple times for group and solo meals. Always been pleased with what was ordered. Recently tried their Rainbow Roll and it was fantastic.
Really good food and the guy is insanely hardworking. It’s new years night and he’s over his head with orders yet still smiles and makes sure everything is done to a good standard and on time. Would rate 5+ if i could.
Prime Sushi is a great sushi restaurant that offers fresh food and fast kind service. From the moment I walked in, I was friendly greeted by the restaurant's sole staff member, a kind old sushi man who greets you with a warm smile on his face. It's rare to find such friendly environment in a restaurant, and it added a special touch to the entire dining experience. When I went to Prime Sushi, I chose takeout as I didn’t have much time available to dine in - but the fast service and special sushi rolls were beyond my expectations. The rolls were incredibly fresh, and you could tell that they were prepared with care and expertise. I couldn't resist trying a variety of rolls, including the salmon avocado roll, the spicy salmon roll, and my all-time favorite, the spicy salmon dragon roll (super recommended!) Each roll was a perfect balance of textures and flavors, with a hint of spice that added a delightful kick. While Prime Sushi's prices may be on the higher side, I can confidently say that it's worth every penny. The quality and freshness of the sushi make it a worthwhile indulgence. It's not just a meal; it's an experience. If you're looking for great sushi served with a smile in a cozy, one-of-a-kind setting, Prime Sushi is the place to go!
My favourite sushi place in Bloor West Village! It’s a small family-owned restaurant with limited seating area, but the atmosphere is very cozy and everything is kept spotless. The owner, also the sushi chef, is very friendly and welcoming as well. He makes really good sushi, fresh on the spot. Our favourites are the Black Dragon Roll and Bloor West Village Roll. It might take a little longer when they’re busy because they have a small number of staffs, but the wait is totally worth it :)
The best sushi in the area! Fresh, delicious sushi and I love the homemade dressing for the salad.
Great sushi spot. Lovely owner and chef. Fresh and delicious every time. A neighborhood gem.
Tiny take out space. Great miso soup and fresh sushi. Both brown and white rice are available
Fresh and tasty food, big portions, and great service Thank you Food
Had a T4 tray take away. The owner Se is polite & honest. The fish was fresh and there was not too much rice. Definitely recommend. Food : 5/5 |
The staff is friendly and the food is good. Highly recommended for takeout.
It was really good sushi for the price. Very tasty and the portions were generous. I highly recommend the place.
LOVE this little spot. The sushi is fresh, delicious and carefully crafted by the chef, who is also the kindest man. I miss little sushi spots like this in the city. I sat inside and had a lovely lunch.
Simply some of the freshest, best sushi around. Maybe the best meal you can have in Bloor West. More of a takeout spot, but there are 2-3 tables if you want to eat here. The sushi and sashimi platter is always delicious.
Always fresh! We have had trouble finding a consistant sushi restaurant in the area, even started driving to try other options, but happy to have found this shop now. It s tucked two stores into a small complex on Bloor, and we worry the lack of street visibility won t help sales. Hopefully good reviews on google help drive people in!
Tucked away, if it wasnt for the great and well deserved reviews we would have never known. Fresh and tasty and the owner has a sweet smile, what more could you ask? Our new sushi joint!
Fantastic quality! The quality and value is really outstanding.
Love this spot, great hidden gem
The food was very fresh and well presented. The staff was very kind and polite.
Very good!
Such a nice experience, would go again!
Good sushi. I like it.
The staff are friendly, located in a nice quiet area, sushi was great! Will definitely be coming back!
Cute little neighborhood freshly made sushi joint.
I came here last week with a friend for dinner. The food was great and the atmosphere was relaxed. We sat at the one table outside and enjoyed the courtyard.
Awesome food, really fast service, and the people working there are really nice. Overall good vibes
My plus size friend loves going here. Because the door fits her body frame. Her name is myriam and she is travelling great lengths for this sushi. I highly recommend.
Great quality of sushi. It just became my favorite in the neighborhood.
Way over priced. Extremely mediocre. Really small pieces of fish for the nigiri. 8 dollars for 2 sake, 8 for saba, 9 for maguro (which is the cheap tuna, not even fatty), all thin slice, narrow. Really audacious. I guess this is whats to be expected for a sushi place in the GTA now. Shame..
I am a sushi lover. I go around to find Better sushi. Prime sushi is good for fresh salmon and tasty rice. I tasted other sushi in the area but Prime is l recommend
My favourite spot in this neighbourhood. Really good quality, love the energy and care in the food. Bob Dylan covers were playing so that just made it even better.
Best fresh sushi made in front on you
