The overall dishes look fine, but tastes super oily, price was too high and portion of rice was too small, albeit it serves hot.
Got off at my stop hungry and saw this place, and decided to check it out. Immediately going through the front door I was greeted, given a pitcher of lemon water and a menu even though I was planning on using the QR code menu as someone who was tired at the time. I got the tonkotsu ramen with extra spicy, and takoyaki. Once I was served the broth was hot, noodles were looking good and the aroma of the ramen just warmed my face. First bite and instantly realized how spicy it was. Keep in mind I'm Mexican and I grew up loving spicy food this certainly had a kick. Then came the takoyaki, and honestly I wish it was a bit more cooked because my chop sticks would just squish it but had a good flavor overall. My total came out to be $25 and in my opinion it's worth every penny.
We were excited to try this spot based on the rating and pictures but unfortunately left underwhelmed. We ordered the fried chicken cutlet ramen and the pork cutlet ramen, and both fell short of expectations. The most puzzling part? There was lettuce and cucumber—a literal salad—in our ramen. It felt out of place and completely threw off the dish. Perhaps we should have gone with the tonkotsu instead… The takoyaki was okay, but again, the flavors were confusing—why was there mustard on it? It didn’t complement the dish well. Overall, there are definitely better ramen spots in the city.
✨️Very pleasant tasty soft soup with rich ingredients unlike other weirdly unique bold tasted soups. ✨️Reasonable price for a decent portion. ✨️Love the atmosphere: made it very space efficient, comfortable yet cute.
Hole in the wall Ramen joint. Ramen is inexpensive and there are many varieties to choose from. Taste is merely ok, I thought my noodles were very overcooked. Chicken karaage is ok and decently priced.
I visited this ramen shop on a quiet afternoon, on first impression it has a great atmosphere, and ordering is very convenient using the QR code on the table. I ordered the Black Tonkatsu Ramen. The dish is generally tasty, although the soup base could have been more concentrated to better deliver its flavour through the ramen. The pork itself was delicious though! Overall a good experience!
Ramen was delicious and had a great atmosphere. First off though, the ramen, broth, meat and topping flavours are not really Japanese, but more inspired by China (Chinese) influence. This isn’t a criticism, just noting a difference. The shop has a great atmosphere and the server(s) were very friendly. One thing to note, they have FREE plum juice!!! I haven’t had this since I was young!
After realizing it is Chinese run as supposed to Japanese, my expectations went down. However, it did not disappoint. My 2 boys could confirm. Pros: Solid ramen texture, great soup base (had Tonkatsu and Black Tonkatsu), cha Siu was perfectly cooked tender. Very good service, waitress was very nice. It was 6pm, surprised to be the only table. The ramens were legitly great. Can improve: had only 1 tiny sheet of nori, just 2 pieces of cha Siu, eggs could be 2 levels runnier. The room temperature was way too warm, which may be what prevents me or others from coming back, let me know if this ever changes. I wasn't suffering but it wasn't enjoyable. It felt like high 20s when outdoor was 21. Storage is inside the bathroom, which causes hygiene concerns, especially when take-out boxes etc are stacked next to toilet bowl. I feel this place has a lot of potential, especially if temperature gets adjusted, the rest isn't big deal if quality remains. The chinese vibe may drag it down a bit for those looking for genuine Japanese ramen.
You absolutely must try this place about $15 each dish
The takoyaki was very mediocre. Not enough sauce, and it tasted gross. The ramen broth didn t have enough depth, and the gyoza dumplings were giving Costco. I respect the hustle but low key kinda mid food.
Tonkatsu Ramen it top!
Food was just okay but service is great
Great noods
Yo, ramen station slaps food delicious, service beyond belief. As a customer, i have been truly satiated
Very delicious black pepper beef rib ramen, thurougly enjoyed with friends, would reccomeneded
Great food - cozy atmosphere. Plum Juice for the win!
Best ramen place in town. Very underrated place I swear. Broth is hella tasty. Great quantity. Decent price.
I recently tried a bowl of tonkotsu ramen that left a lasting impression. The rich, creamy broth was both savory and deeply satisfying, with a perfect balance of umami. The noodles were expertly cooked, offering a delightful chewiness that complemented the broth beautifully. Toppings like tender chashu pork, crisp scallions, and a soft-boiled egg added layers of flavor and texture. The hint of garlic and sesame oil elevated the dish even further. Overall, it was a comforting and indulgent experience, perfect for a chilly day. I left the bowl empty, eagerly planning my next visit for another taste of this delightful ramen.
Cute spot for delicious ramen. The service was fast and our server was very attentive.
Cute Japanese eatery with a great selection of ramen, including vegetarian options, which was a nice surprise. The prices are reasonable, portions are good, and the service is quick. A solid spot for a satisfying ramen!
I really like the ramen here. It was pretty good. I was surprised that its not as busy. Had a quick meal.
Great experience overall!
I ve passed this place a million times and finally decided to give it a try today. I must say that this place is beautifully decorated, super clean and hygienic as well. The most important thing was that the food was wonderful and very reasonably priced as well. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend this place!
We ordered the tonkatsu ramen and the black tonkatsu ramen. The black tonkatsu ramen definitely had a tastier broth. The broth was a bit watery, but it still tasted good. There was also free plum juice. The service was average and the food came in a timely manner. As well, the atmosphere was small and comfortable, with two tvs for entertainment.
We hesitated to enter the place, but upon entering we were surprised by how beautiful and clean the place was Delicious food and good portion.
This place is the best ramen spot in the city, the hospitality is great, the food is top notch and the atmosphere is a vibe, what s not to love. Definitely check it out if you re a fan of ramen or visiting ramen. I always recommend the black tonkotsu ramen
We three friends tried there ramen every was good just one I tried miso soup was tasteless there was almost no flavour in the soup. But I more then satisfied with service and the atmosphere of the place.
Affordable and tasty comfort food.
Delicious!
Very good ramen and free plum juice the place is very nice
The ramen here is very authentic, with noodles that have the perfect texture and a rich broth. The desserts are also delicious. However, the rice in the beef steak combo was a bit too soft, and the onsen egg was not runny as it should be.
Great little ramen place. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Food was great. Would return again.
The food was very tasty and the price was absolutely right. Free water and juice on site. Conditions could be a little friendlier. But food tastes good.
Great ramen spot! I recommend just the classic tonkotsu- the pork is 10/10. The restaurant itself is really nice and comfortable, you could definitely spend a long time here (air conditioned, spacious, really comfy seats). And the prices are pretty decent compared to some other ramen spots!
We were looking for some comfort food on a Friday night after visiting the AGO and happened to come to this place. Overall, the experience was good. Mind you, we recently spent over a month in Japan, so the memory of the Ramen we tasted there was still on our taste buds. This was a very close second.
Delicious ramen noodles! One of my favourite places on Spadina. Soup base is good and noodles are chewy. The combo set perfectly balances the main with salad and soup. My personal favourite is the charchir set. Their meat is marinated well and very filling! Not many seating inside but interior is nicely decorated. Highly recommend going!
good ramen good price nice atmosphere, recommended Dietary restrictions: accommodated dairy allergy Food : 5/5 |
The truth is we were surprised, we entered out of curiosity and the place looked nice, we stayed to eat and the food was super good and the girl who served us was very nice
Delicious ramen! Location was very clean.
Dont come here expecting authentic Japanese ramen and you will leave satisfied. Located right in Chinatown, I knew it was going to be more of a Chinese fusion ramen. I ordered the fried chicken ramen because it seems like the most popular item and I was very pleasantly surprised. The broth isnt thick like traditional tonkotsu nor was it thin like shoyu - it was more like a hybrid between the two with a light sesame taste. If youve had the sesame shio broth at Isshin, it reminds me of it. However, I dare say I enjoy this one more than Isshin because its so flavourful and theres non-conventional toppings like cabbage and carrot. Bonus points for the free egg when its a $1.50-2 top-up at other places. The fried chicken itself was super crispy and delicious. It wasnt a combination I expected to shine, but it sure did. Another unexpected perk was the self-service free plum juice. It was slightly sweeter than I would have liked, but free is free. I went slightly after lunch hour and there was only one other couple. Despite being right on Spadina st, this place feels more like a hidden gem. It definitely deserves more attention!
Everything is delicious and fresh, simple but its flavor is unique. They give you a soft drink if you share that you are on the site.
The taste Love that taste . I recommend you to visit here and Taste the ramen . It will be worth your money Food : 5/5
Delicious. I would only ask for more meat and a bit more noodles
Excellent small and cozy place, the price is quite good, I had a miso ramen and it was excellent, the portions are large, it really was a pleasant experience, without a doubt I will visit them again.
Food was tasty! Seating is limited, but the inside has a nice vibe.
Good place to check out for Ramen in Chinatown. Reasonable prices. Street parking within walking distance or take the TTC.
Best Ramen I ever had
We are here for lunch. We ordered chicken ramen, fried chicken rice set and chashu rice bowl. The chicken rice set comes with salad and soup. The fried chicken is yummy, as well as the chicken on top of ramen. Kids love ramen. Just recalled that we ordered a wasabi tako, they didnt serve it, but they did charge us.
I literally found this place randomly and now its my fav ramen spot everr! Ive tried some others like Crafty ramen, Kenzo and Kinton but still came back for this place bruh . Like literally the staff is super friendly and serve us with joy even though i don give tips sometimes the price is mostly the cheapest ive known, like about $15 per person without tips. The chicken karaage is juicy and crispy 10/10. The gyoza ive tried cuz my bf ate all of it but it looks nice and crisp. The ramen? gorgouse, the broth taste like real bone broth and not just sauce package. Would very suggest this place guysss!! I don have pictures rn but will update when i go visit again!!
The food is absolutely amazing! The restaurant is very pretty and the waiters are very nice totally recommend!
Great customer service and great ramen as well. Highly recommend if youre looking for a delicious quick bite!
Absolutely delicious food, great quality and perfect service. Highly recommend this place.
Tastes great, awesome service and yummy complimentary plum juice. Will def be back.
Interesting Chinese-Japanese fusion restaurant. The menu may seem Japanese but all of it have a Chinese touch to it. The decoration is also Chinese. Plum juice is delicious.
The food was really good for amazing prices and it was not too busy. Restaurant is a hidden gem.
Quick service. Ramen was great.
Nice decorations. Free plum juice.
Loved the place!! Had creamy mushroom ramen and it was great!
Not sure why this does not show up on a lot of Toronto recommendations. Love the spicy Tan Tan Ramen, Karaage, and their combos.
Really tasty noodles and broth for a super reasonable price. Its not super fancy but if you want something tasty for a good price this is it. I also thought the portions were large and we were full without ordering extra noodles ( which I usually do at ramen places)
** SHELLFISH ALLERGIES BEWARE ** The food was very good. Service was very kind but I made it very clear that my partner has a deadly shellfish allergy and I couldnt even eat it and then kiss or touch him. I specifically asked about shellfish in both of our orders. What did they give me in mine? Some kind of crab thing. This is seriously dangerous. When people say they have a shellfish allergy its not about being picky it can be truly deadly. They were very sorry and tried to make up for it but seriously this is so dangerous Dietary restrictions: See my review for our experience with shellfish allergies
Loved the atmosphere and the food!
Delicious ramen! Lovely service, everything was perfect
Absolutely stunning! Id give it 6 stars if I could. The free drinks are such a sweet touch. Food
It was my first time having ramen and it was really yummy but most importantly I loved the customer service. P. S we loved the plum juice.
Came here for the ramen but it was simply not the place to go for ramen. Takoyaki was good. You get a free pop can if you tag them on Instagram and show them.
Visited a while ago. Love the ramen here!
A very cool establishment that I found by accident! everything is very neat and beautiful mega friendly staff fast service unreal tasty ramen and one more bonus - post a photo on Facebook or Instagram, and all drinks are free! I really liked it! I recommend
Staffs are good, the food was delicious.
The ramen was not delicious and tasteless. After half a bowl, I lost all desire to eat it. The fried dumplings were not fried at all. What came were steamed dumplings and the price was not cheap. Two people ate 50.
I got the chicken cutlet ramen and my boyfriend got the chicken cutlet combo + dumplings to share. Was the best ramen I ever had!! The staff were very friendly and all our food came out in less than 15 minutes. This will definitely be our new go-to spot for date night!
One of the rare restaurants where I was genuinely impressed with the quality &quantity of food for the price we paid. Teriyaki meals & ramen were delicious and generous in portion. Polite and friendly staff.will keep going.
Great service, was maybe a 10 minute wait, not overpriced, and delicious
Ramen is great, cutlery is cute, and they served food in less than 5 min.
Ramen Station was absolutely delicious. Hands down one of the best places Ive visited for ramen. It was so flavorful, and the service was great. It is a hidden gem near Kensington Market. I highly recommend if you like Ramen and are in the area.
nice, clean place for some ramen. I got the tonkotsu ramen, which i felt was okay. i wasnt the biggest fan of the broth and bamboo shoots, but thats just me. i felt the broth was oddly too thick. overall, not a bad place to eat
The best ramen weve had! The young lady at the checkout was very cute and friendly, it was nice to chat
The worst ramen I ve ever had it was actually disgusting. Very disappointing seeing as there s a 4.7 star rating but I couldn t even get through 3 mouthfuls because of how gross it tasted no flavour at all and noodles smelt weird. Avoid at all costs
Very nice staff, however it was the worst ramen i have ever had.
Came here to try some ramen and even though the service was great the food was a little bit mid. The ramen bowls presentation was on point and it looked delicious but it didnt taste as good as it looked. Really felt lacking in the flavour department. I didnt try the other menu items so maybe theyre a lot better. I liked this spot and glad I tried it but theres definitely better ramen spots in the city. The establishment is very clean but is also tiny so it would be hard to come here with a large party.
Been there recently, ordered two ramen, and the tomato ramen won our hearts forever! This is the most delicious ramen in all of Toronto!
The food was incredible - particularly the Gyoza and the staff were happy to assist with recommendations! Our green teas were continually filled and we were thoroughly looked after. The design, furnishings, decor and dining sets made this small space feel magical! Greatest ramen experience.
We went purposely from North Toronto because it has high rating. We find the foods are really just so so. It is not terrible but does not worth 4.7 for sure. We thought foods are done by Japaneses and quickly realized its run by Chineses. We are not discriminate about race but their noodles are no where near Japanese authentic ramen. Broth is very normal taste and their Dan Dan ramen is a totally Chinese version. Wont go there anymore.
The best part of this ramen was its price. Overall it tasted fine, nothing special, and the seating was quite cramped. Still, I liked how the staff checked up on us in the middle of our meal to ask how everything tasted (usually ramen places just give you the dish and leave you alone until you want the bill).
Not my favourite noodle, but the ramen broth and toppings were really good! The karaage was also juicy and hot
10 out of 10 would recommend and come again! The outside was very colourful, once you get inside it s very bright! The service was kind, we came kinda late and they would kind to make us a meal to go last minute! We had the spicy Tan tan ramen and I m excited to come back and try something different!
Great place, great taste... Cant recommend enough...
good food, love the toppings. the food came quickly, which i love since my friend and i were looking for a quick bite on our way. minimal server interaction which i love. supply of napkins at the table instead of needing to ask for more. very chill spot to eat at.
Fair amount of sodium in the teriyaki beef, the Tokyo Calamari/squid taste great.
This was by far the best Ramen place Ive ever been to, the venue was adorable, the workers were so sweet, and all the food was made fresh and in-house down to the noodles. Trust me, you can taste the difference. Their attention to detail in every item that went into our bowls is what really stood out to me. The bamboo shoots were crunchy and delicious, the eggs were cooked perfectly and even the dried seaweed was coated with Wasabi, which Ive never experienced before, and it added a whole different layer to our soups.
Good ambience.
Love the place. Serena is so awesome server. Will come again
One of the best ramens Ive ever had
Great taste, great value
The Ramen here is amazing! Very tasty 10/10 , it s also fairly priced and the service here is on point. The staff is very friendly as well
Nice small place. Tasty food. Clean washroom. Cute mirror there. Disappointingly, the soap is more like water. Food : 5/5 |
Probably the best ramen I ve ever had!
Best ramen I ate, they also give free drinks after posting them on instagram
it is really nice.
The ramen was delicious! Wheelchair accessibility: There is one little step at the entrance but with a little help you can go in. Its completely flat in the restaurant Food : 5/5 |
Great Ramen spot. Cheap, great taste Food
I m really happy with the quality of food and service here at Ramen Station in Toronto, Canada s Chinatown. With so many Asian food offerings in the area, Ramen Station is able to stand out and set itself apart from the rest of the competition. Their takoyaki was very savoury with the flavour of the octopus permeating the entire octopus ball. The chicken curry combo was richly infused with wonderful spices. Their specialty, ramen, exceeded expectations. We got the prawn tempura ramen and that was mouth-wateringly excellent. Ramen Station is a must-try while in Toronto!
Good ramen in Toronto Chinatown
Definitely the best ramen I ve ever had, everything In the bowl was delicious and fresh! Plus it s really affordable considering the amount of food you get
came here because of the high ratings on google but turns out the ramen just tastes ordinary. toronto definitely has better authentic ramen out there
Everything is perfect here. The Food the service the atmosphere is great. The space is a bit small so I would suggest coming at a less busy time. Best Spicy Ramen in Toronto
Food was just okay, it was more a chinese take of ramen more than anything. Tho the place is clean and service friendly.
Service is great, but the ramen itself was okay. Personally it was a bit salty and theres an odd after taste. I had the black tonkatsu and my friend got the original tonkatsu. I didnt like his broth but his noodles didnt have the after taste I got with mine.
Honestly the ramen was very bland, not sure if it was because I ordered the takeout but it was super salty and the broth felt like it was a generic pre made broth kinda deceiving that it has 4.7 stars
Went here after a relaxing massage nearby. Being a ramen loving guy, I have to try their ramen staple. Sure enough, I wasn t disappointed with their ramen. Only thing is that their Tonkatsu ramen broth is a little bit missing in taste as compared to other ramen house I have been but not that bad either. Miso ramen also taste great. Great thing about this ramen house is their price, cheaper than most overrated ramen house I ve been but make no mistake their ramen won t disappoint either even with the lower price range. Place is small but ambiance and decor are nice and pleasing. Although its serving mostly ramen, place has some Chinese fares also. All in all, my experience in this place didn t disappoint my expectations of a good ramen house.
Great food and modern decor. Good pricing and value :)
So delicious! I don t even know where to begin. Hands down the best ramen I ve ever tasted!!
Quaint place, fantastic food. The gyoza was really quite good
Small restaurant that doesnt look like much on the outside but which I highly recommend. The ramen is very tasty and the price is very reasonable. This is a good ramen place in Toronto.
Best place to get great ramen for good price highly recommend the server is really nice and polite definitely coming back in the future
Very good
It s so delicious that I almost cried. It s simply better than the ones in Taiwan
A nice little ramen joint in the heart of Chinatown, nice firm ramen noodles with a choice of various broths, good menu selection for toppings, tasty and nice size servings, friendly and helpful staff.
Our family of 5 really enjoyed 08/17/2023. We asked for rice without sauce for my daughter, which was accepted, cool! Finally a meal in Canada with vegetables for a balanced diet... Ramen is either accompanied by soup or raw vegetables. Some dishes are spicy and spicy, so choose carefully. The service, by a young woman, very involved in her work, and very smiling, was exemplary!
Cozy place to eat, theyre many options to choose from. You should come with appetite since the ramen portions are huge. Dont forget to try the free plum juice! Vegetarian options: Creamy Mushroom Ramen
Good food at good price, and super friendly staff. Just dont eat anything before your meal here as 1. Its a heavy meal. 2. It will pass right through your stomach.
Im sorry, but this chinese version of ramen was so bad!
Yea, broth was fine, vibe was okay.
Perfectly just ok.
I absolutely love this place !!! The best Ramen I ve had downtown. The food is tasty, fresh, and hot. The portion sizes are also large. I go here all the time and would definitely recommend. I also always get free plum juice.
Yummy, creamy and rich ramen. Great service too. Thanks for nice visit.
this place is just chinese people attempting to make ramen but all they make is just noodle and soups. just noodles. and soup. yep. the ramen is just really mid. also the gyoza shell is weird.
This isnt a real ramen place, its Chinese ramen, with lackluster broth and seasoning. There is virtually no taste to the broth, and the noodles in the black tonkotsu. The cha siew, egg, and noodle texture was mid, and thats about it. The atmosphere is also not even Japanese, its Chinese Honestly the entire experience its just... mid.... its not good its not terrible its just mid. However I would not recommend coming here. If youre looking for real ramen--this place is not it.
The staff are really nice
The ramen has delicious broth and is reasonably priced. I would say they probably have the cheapest takoyaki around as well. Lovely little spot with great food!
The food was very delicious I would deff come again and service very good Staff Food
Delicious ramen place in Chinatown, Toronto, Ontario Canada. Ambience is cozy with nice decor. Love the golden touch on the bowl, chopsticks and spoon. Staff are very friendly. A1 ramen, calamari and tokoyaki was so satisfying.
This place is one of the best noodle bar in Chinatown. Service is quick, the presentation is on point and the food is absolutely amazing.
Very tasty and hearty ramen! Will definitely come again Everything is fresh and hot. The staff girls, you are wonderful! Food : 5/5
Food was a bit salty but everything else is great. A bit pricey too
Good spot for ramen with a bit of Chinese flavours and good service. A bit oilier than I like but I m sure you can request for less oil.
Well they give you free drinks for 5 star reviews so....yeah
This is such a delightful little gem of a place. Loved the interiors of bright orange - done in a kitschy way. Ramen options are great. Good value for money. Great service. It is a small restaurant so you may need to wait for a table during peak times on a Friday / Saturday evening but honestly, well worth it.
Went there for lunch and had chicken ramen. The taste was good and portion size is Enough for 1. Recommended to try
A little small place but the food is really good
Just walked in here on a whim. Ive had ramen before but after trying out this place, I realised I clearly never had proper ramen before. Absolutely delicious
This place is a cute lil hidden gem! It has the perfect amount of seating for an enjoyable dining experience! The ramen is super tasty, the taste is pretty authentic and you get a good amount of meat and noodles! Most places give you more broth than anything. Service is also excellent, the girl who served us was super duper friendly and managed pretty much the whole restaurant by herself! Will definitely be back, price is also veery reasonable, try the calamari!
I had the black tonkotsu ramen, and it was super tasty and spicy. - The calamari was fresh and crispy. - The Chinatown location is perfect, and the server was really friendly and efficient. We ll definitely gonna come back.
This ramen is DELICIOUS!!! Try the Tonkotsu Ramen here you will feel so good. This is happy food, Im smiling so much. Creamy, rich, saucy, BIG BOWL of ramen, juicy japanese rolled pork, slow cooked to perfection. We love Ramen Station
We went in to have ramen on a cold evening! The food was great though we wished there were more options on the menu. The staff were very helpful. A cozy spot for a cold day.
Came across this gem by chance and absolutely loved it. The service was beyond amazing. Ramen comes out quick, portion sizes are great, and the flavours and meat quality was superb. Try this place out. You wont be disappointed.
One of the best Ive had period!
Passed by many times and have been meaning to try this place out. The ramen was delicious, service was friendly and atmosphere was lively. I highly recommend!
Wow!
Great tasty food
It s a Chinese mian place and doesn t hide it. Big portions and free plum drink if you can believe it. Quite busy on a weekday morning. Orders were popping off as soon as they opened. Wish we got more sauce on the calamari.
The ramen was watered down, the noodles, beansprout, and egg were overcooked. The edamame was cold when we got it, they reheated it for us, then it was part cold and part warm. The curry was just like cube curry from the grocery store. The karage, the chicken cutlet and the gyoza were all ok. But truly disappointed, especially for how much was spent. We love ramen and brought our visiting family here seeing the great reviews and was truly sad they think this is what ramen is. Plan to try and take them elsewhere before they go for a better experience. The service was not great either, we had to request things multiple times. The server seemed overwhelmed with his workload. Did our best to not over stress him, but there was just to much to overlook.. wont be going again.
food ia fantastic but for the noodles i think is a bit too much than the soup overall food is delicious
This is a great ramen place! Went with a large group of relatives and although seating was limited due to the small space they accommodated us. The ramen was excellent with a really strong taste compared to more mild bowls at other restaurants. Portion sizes were good too! Everyone in my party was satisfied with the food they received. In addition, at the time that we visited there was a promotion where you would receive a free pop for one social media posting with an image. Limit of one person of course but this was a nice touch to build word of mouth for the restaurant. It was fun! Now onto the negatives. First is the limited menu. One of the party members in my group was hoping for a bit more variety. In addition, once we ordered it took awhile for our food to arrive. Not to the point where we felt ignored but not as quick as other competing ramen restaurants. Finally, we were a party of six and we had to specifically ask for additional cups. There were only 5 at our tables and no one noticed that we needed an extra one until asked. Not a major issue, but many other restaurants that I have visited will go the extra mile to ensure that everyone has a cup as soon as possible once seating is completed. Regardless of the minor quibbles, I still enjoyed eating here. Food tasted great, prices are reasonable for what you get and the the social media post for a free can of pop made experience a bit fun. Definitely check this place out and give them a chance. On my list of ramen places to eat when I am near Spadina now.
Big portion but the ramen wasn t that flavourful kind of bland the rice sets are good!
One of the best ramen places in Toronto. Stopped by today for lunch, and the fried chicken ramen with tonkatsu broth tastes fantastic! Price is also more affordable compared to other ramen places.
Four to five months ago, I discovered this amazing ramen place that instantly became my favorite. However, during our recent visit, it was a huge disappointment compared to the exceptional experience we had previously. Its disheartening to see my favorite place decline in quality.
Consistently SUPERIOR ramen served at extremely fair prices highly recommend the pork katsu and crispy chicken bowls
The food lack freshness the takoyaki definitely wasnt fresh, broth also lack richness or could just be chicken powder. I had a tomato and beef ramen and i just felt like a few slices of tomato and slice beef is not acceptable since slice beef are easily overcooked. Overall the experience was medicore.
Nice place, good condiments, not pricey, has a big portion. You should try adding chili on your food because the chili is so yummy! Good hospitality. Definitely will go back to this restaurant.
Soooooo flavourful I am absolutely obsessed big portions and good prices I have tried so many other places and no one compares
Some of the best ramen Ive ever had, and it was very good value too.
Super solid ramen spot, Takoyaki was also superb! Can t wait to come back here when I m hungry in the area!
Spicy tan tan was delicious!
Great service, high-quality products, definitely come back next time
Very nice ramen place with golden interior and comfortable chairs
Really cute ramen restaurant, cozy with very comfy seats and stylish gold bowls and spoons and chopsticks.
Ramen station was a busy little place when we arrived with only one table remaining. Fortunately, one was all we needed. The broth was rich and delicious and flavourful. Served at just the right temperature. Two pieces of melt in your mouth chasau, corn, scallions and perfectly chewy noodles. The only part I wasnt too keen on was the bamboo shoots which is a personal preference. My partner who like bamboo shoots thought they were very good. Price was reasonable and I would definitely go back again to try the spicy tan tan.
Very good, thoroughly enjoyed. So much so, I felt compelled to leave a 5 star review.
A decent place to get ramen and other snacks. The price is reasonable and the portions are great. The ramen broth was alright, not very rich but also not bland. The noodles and chasu were slightly overcooked. The side dishes we got were also a good amount and were tasty. The atmosphere is very nice and the serving bowls/utensils are fun. The decor of the restaurant is unique and I enjoyed the red interior with the various things on the wall. The service is also quick and attentive. Overall a good place to get your ramen and side fix on a budget. While obviously not as good as other ramen places, it still fills a good niche of budget with generous portions. Would recommend to students as its close to UofT as well.
One of the best place to have ramen in Toronto,I ordered shrimp ramen with chicken soup and it was amazing. Must try place.
The food and service was excellent. Best ramen in Toronto
Average ramen
Great place and great food. Ive been here twice in the same week and will definitely visit again.
Like Steve Jobs would say. Insanely great . The Gyoza is not that great though but the ramen is absolutely amazing.
Best soup in this area
Delicious food and good service!!
Hands down this place has the best ramen in Toronto
One of the best Ramen places i have been, amazing Gyoza and Miso ramen. the broth was very creamy and had the perfect amount of umami, the Chashu melted in my mouth and was amazing. highly recommended:)
Lovely stuff and a really good ramen
Vegetable Ramen was cooked well and had a unique flavor! Definitely would recommend this spot!
Very tasty, not expensive, nice service
At first, I had doubts about this place because it wasn t completely traditionally Japanese. However, the taste of the ramen really proved me wrong. It is different from traditional Japanese ramen, but it tastes amazing. The broth is very rich and thick. I really liked the plating because it made my dish look very appetizing. However, the noodles are overcooked and there isn t too much broth in the bowl.
Ramen was delicious. Definitely will be back
Went here for a curry chicken combo. I m from out of town. It was amazing!
I tried ramen today for the first time. I had the creamy mushroom vegetarian ramen, it was good. I didnt taste the strong flavor of the mushroom, but overall I enjoyed it. The place is quiet and cozy. They have a free drink plum juice I loved it a lot. Must try.
Note: my ramen ratings are aligned to Japanese standards, thus rather strict The restaurant is certainly pretty. I had the black garlic tonkotsu ramen. Broth: Very porky (too much for my taste), quite salty Noodles: Very yellow (too much eggs used?) noodles, slightly too soft for my taste. The waitress didnt know what barikata means (like often in the western world). Meat: The best part of this bowl, quite melting, maybe a tad too fat. Egg: Overcooked. Maybe the other bowls are more convincing, Id like to come back and try another one some day.
Big portion sizes, the food is okay -- not outstanding but it will do and it still tastes good.
Very tasty ramen for a reasonable price. The portions are quite large, the staff is friendly and polite. We didnt have to wait long for the dish, water with lemon was already on the table, besides, you can add as much chili sauce as you want to the food. I really liked the seats by the windows~
Amazing and authentic Ramen at very reasonable price Thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it
Great selection of ramen and very friendly and helpful service.
The ramen actually looks quite good BUT it was absolutely tasteless when I had the first bite. I thought the soup was mixed well so I stir a few times and it tastes the same.... nothing absolutely no taste. I must say it is very experience. I think the chef must forgot to put in salt or soy for the ramen. Beside the ramen noodle was over cooked. With such bad food and the TV showing how ramen is carefully made but it had nothing to do with the store doesnt help much at all either......
I went there couple of days ago to give it a first try as it looks so good on the images and to check it out before I bring my friends here. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, it looks super pretty and yummy in the first place. Thought it was going to be as good as the review online, I WAS TOTALLY WRONG T-T! The soup was tasteless and very thick/oily, it had this kind of porky/smelly scent to it, which I did not like at all and kind of wanted to throw up if I ate more. Having a good appetite to start with, I tried to eat as much as I could to not waste the food, but didnt even make it to half a bowl, I felt nauseous. Thank god that the side dish/snack was alright, which I filled my stomach up with. The service and environment was nice though. Maybe Ill take the courage to stop by another day to try other types of ramen. But I am never ordering the Tonkotsu ever again. :(
I have some expectations cuz with so many good reviews. The food is just mediocre and it is for sure on the pricey side than I would expected in Chinatown area. I have ordered a regular miso ramen and with tips and tax I paid $18.18. If you are looking for Japanese Ramen this is for sure not the place to go. Their ramen is more like Chinese altered version with red spices. But they did have you whole soft-boiled egg. Btw, they also do not refill the plum juice that were mentioned in other comments. So I did not even get the chance to try. Flavor: 3/5 Price:3/5 Environment: 3/5 Uniqueness: 3/5 Alternative: Kenzo
Today I had the vegetarian creamy mushroom ramen at Ramen Station and it was absolutely incredible! The broth was rich and full of flavor, and the mushrooms added a great depth of flavor to the dish. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the whole dish was just comfort food at its finest. Overall, I highly recommend the ramen at this restaurant - its truly a must-try!
I have been to this shop many times recently to eat ramen. It is a small shop but the layout is very warm. The atmosphere in the shop is very good. It is very suitable for eating and chatting with friends, or you can come in and listen to music and have a bowl of ramen by yourself. You can tell that the soup base is not blended, but made from real ingredients. It is quite rich. The barbecued pork tastes like it has been roasted, which is quite good. I didnt notice this ramen shop before, maybe because it hasnt been open for a long time. I recommend that anyone who likes ramen give it a try.
This place was AMAZING! I got a creamy mushroom ramen with extra ramen and I thought it would be too much but I actually didnt want it to end! I would highly recommend. Amazing staff. Great vibes will come back!
