Service is always very friendly and fun, good sized rooms for a reasonable price, and a photobooth for making cute memories :) Ive been a regular here for years and plan to be a loyal customer for a long long time!

The karaoke is easy to use for beginners and the pricing is fair. However the staff mentioned it was not possible to change the echo settings on the microphone. It was a good experience but the echo made it annoying to sing.

Im not sure if we re lucky but their drinks dont have any alcohol whatsoever. It was watered down. Their sound system is just fine not really good. The music selections need updates too.

Saturday September 14, 2024 - My last time ever with Bar+ karaoke. The short haired Asian woman there acts super bossy towards customers. Hey I don t know whether you re the owner or staff, but don t treat me like my mom or like you just had a bad day alright? I took my team at work here for a corporate social hangout, my bf and I hang out there couple of times, just so you don t say I m a nobody from thin air who s trying to throw a random bad review. My bf tried to make a reso and he got an email, thinking it was the email confirmation. I know for sure twice we came we made a reso on the website so i got confused why this time we aren t secured a room and should we book on the website next time then. Instead of explaining to me what we got wasn t a confirmation, you treat us like those who are giving you a hard time, you talked back straight to the client saying you don t like that i made a question. Don t work in service sector anymore mam, that nasty attitude of yours won t get you very far. The whole singing experience was wrecked. I had to go to washroom to calm myself down from the shock. Have I ever experienced being talked down as a customer? Hell no! If you read this review by any chance, good. Shame on you and damn your attitude. We dont care how many customers you get, you don t deserve the reputation you ve built and the good ratings on google. I m not taking this review down. And we won t ever come back.

This is the only place anyone should visit if they want to go Karaoke in Toronto. The team working there are amazing. Make sure you book in advance if you do Friday or Saturday.

My friends and I came here to celebrate my birthday and we had the best time! We got a small room and with 7 people for 4 hours, it was $176 which is pretty reasonable in my opinion. This place has good air conditioning, the song selection was perfect (you can tell it s frequently updated) and the system to add songs to the queue is really simple and user friendly. Also having two TVs with the lyrics on either side of the room is a great touch. 10/10, five stars highly recommend!! I will definitely be back!

We did a walk-in session here and it was great! The app is super easy to use and the service was great and very accommodating. The fact that you can bring outside food is a GAMECHANGER and makes karaoke much more affordable and fun

We had a party here for 16 people in the large room. The room was great. Everyone had a wonderful time and Julie went above and beyond to make the night easy. Shes very kind and thinks of everything.

I think the karaoke machine used videos from the internet? The search function was a bit hit and miss as a result. And every so often we would get a song that didnt have lyrics. The venue is nice otherwise. The big rooms are really big and can probably fit 20+ people.

Ive been coming to this karaoke for well over 10 years. Its one of my favorite karaoke spots in Toronto for a few reasons: user experience (you use a tablet device to queue your songs; universally recgonized system so its easy to use), atmosphere is fun and Ive never had an issue with peoples behavior considering ppl are usually intoxicated passed a certain time. The bathrooms have their good and their bad days lol. The staff are attentive everytime Ive visited and Ive seen a number of staff here over the years. If youre interested in trying Karaoke, you need to visit Bar+

I went there for the first time on my birthday: BIG mistake. There was only one person working the whole place, cooking, making drinks. I probably wasted 20 mins of my paid time walking back and forth from the bar to order drinks or food. I probably should not have gone to the gym that day cause I had a karaoke-laden workout. The food was good but overall my birthday experience was ruined because I basically paid them to stress me.

Best karaoke place in Toronto! Song selections are great, the staff are amazing and always a good time! I suggest reserving your rooms in advance as they do get quite busy, especially during the weekends.

This place is a great late night karaoke spot. You must book long in advance if you want to get a reservation.

My first time there was great 10/10. This time when I tried to go and make the reservation the person I spoke to was a little too aggressive for my personal preference. I guess your experience depends on which staff are working.

I really enjoyed going to karaoke a couple weeks back with friends. The intimate atmosphere of the private rooms was great. At the karaoke nights that I m used to, you barely get to sing because so many random people sign up to sing songs. My friends and I each got to sing as much as we wanted in the 2 hour time slot that we were given. I also enjoyed the menu options. There were plenty of different drinks and shots that were offered that I haven t seen on typical bar menus.

Keep calling and no one pick up the phone always put through a rogers voicemail box, which hangs up suddenly with no option to leave a voicemail and had submitted a request as well on feedback/contact us page, no response.

Attended a very large work event - 4 x Large Karaoke Rooms with Bottle Service. The atmosphere was electric. The staff embraced the chaos and let us have fun and move in between rooms. The song menu is extensive and eclectic! Microphones and lighting were great!

Dont come first the food, come to sing your heart out! Nice private booths so can get your Lauryn Hill, Brittney Speers or Backstreet Boyz on! Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not an accessible venue. The stairs ti the studio and dark and full of terror! But if youre able, it will getcha there.

Had a great time here! Easy to use system that has a lot of newer songs. Place was very clean and staff were extremely friendly. Really like how there is an hourly rate for the room with no extra fees or food/bev minimums even for a room with just 2 people.

Staff are friendly and the rooms are always clean and in good working condition with an expansive song list - its very rare that I cant find a song Im looking for (but it can happen). Drinks are expensive though, so we usually drink beforehand to ease us up lol. I have come back here over the years multiple times and will continue to do so.

The premier destination for karaoke at the heart of downtown Toronto. Reasonable rates, great rooms, systems, and selection. Only problem is getting a room because everyone knows how good Bar+ is.

Limited room as I have gone multiple times and -always- had to wait at least an 1 or 1:30 before getting a room. Some of the song s lyrics chosen were also not loading unfortunately, but it was rare. Overall great experience and a lot of fun with friends.

I booked 2 large rooms several months in advance for a party of 40+. We fit comfortably in both rooms and had a blast. Service was efficient and rates were reasonable. Everyone left happy. Thank you on the flexibility of bringing in our own snacks and food. My group was happy to order their own drinks directly from the bar.

Service was lacking, stairwell to get up to the venue was in need of repair and better lighting. Light bulb burnt out.. room rented for party suggested hold up to 30. More like 20-25... Very crowded at capacity as written. I brought empty glasses and cans and bottles back to the bar. No one came to collect empties in a room of 30.

Is this place classy? Nope. Its dark, a little outdated and the bathrooms are meh. However, is it just perfect for what it is? Absolutely. My friends and work team visit Bar+Karaoke fairly frequently for a reason. Its a blast, the equipment works well, the catalog is great and the service staff is awesome. Weve always had the friendliest people serving us! As a bonus, the fries are super yummy and the drinks are solid. Highly recommend, and Ill be back soon. Quick note, this place is unfortunately not mobility friendly, and the only access, to my knowledge, is a dark steep staircase. Just take note if mobility is a concern for you.

Bar+ is one of the best karaoke bars in the city. The rooms are well designed whether you want to belt it out from your seat or dance in front. They have different size rooms depending on the group. The list of songs includes basically everything you want, the last few times every song I was looking for was listed from pop to Broadway to Disney to those very key 00s hits! If youre looking for a great time with new friends or old youre in the right place!

This is the greatest karaoke bar in the history of Toronto, Ontario. I have the pleasure to be graced by the sound of our lord Jesus Christ each time I enter this establishment. The staff blesses us with a happy ending of scrumptious drinks each session. Despite my messy divorce I still have bar Karaoke who s hospitality and friendliness keeps me warm when my wife won t.

This is my FAVOURITE private karaoke spot by a long shot! The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the lighting really sets up the mood to start belting out notes (the alcohol helps too lol). They serve drinks at the bar for a reasonable price, water is complementary, and while outside drinks are not allowed, you can bring outside food. Mic covers are provided for hygiene and they have a great variety of songs to choose from using a tablet/iPad. Overall, 5/5 stars. Every time Ive come here has been an absolutely amazing time! Parking: There is no parking on site but there are plenty of options for paid street parking or paid parking garages within a few minute walk. Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheelchair accessible entrance. The entrance starts with a long flight of stairs and there is no alternative.

This is by far my favourite karaoke place to go to with my friends. The selection of music is great as someone that likes popular English music, as well as Japanese and Korean music.

My daughter celebrated her 15th birthday at Bar+Karaoke today, she had an amazing time with her friends! Clean, spacious and super friendly staff who went above and beyond to make my daughters birthday extra special! We brought in a cake but didnt bring in candles. Staff offered candles & a lighter so she was able to blow out candles on her birthday! Thank you so much! We will definitely be back! Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating and kid/teen-friendly. As it was a party with 12 girls, and no adult presence, staff offered to give them a room right at the front so they can keep an eye on them. Definitely gave us more reassurance leaving them on their own.

Good spot for karaoke

I did not enjoy the Karaoke experience as there wasn t many AFRICAN artists/songs to play. They had about 8 songs from Burna Boy and 3 old songs each from Wizkid and Davido !!!! No recent songs, no new artists. Also, not all songs have lyrics displayed as subtitles, some songs had their lyrics out of sync with the audio and other songs like MY LOVE from Westlife had annoyingly wrong lyrics. Super disappointing experience!! I hope the management of this place sees this and fixes up!!!!

Staff were extremely accommodating for a larger group (15 people) and despite their schedule running a tad behind, they still fully honor the two hours paid/reserved for. Alcohol is slightly on the more expensive side, even for going out to a bar, but the quality of the rooms, song selection, and fun we had far outweighs that. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

Rooms are really big for karaoke. This place is YouTube karaoke but the songs have been organized onto a tablet so it s not as awkward as searching up songs on YouTube. Also be careful because they do bag check on entry.

Quintessential Toronto Kareoke bar. Clean rooms, good service, reasonable prices. Just be mindful of going on weekends, as prices and wait times dramatically increase. Good first-time spot. Havent tried the food menu, so no opinions on it.

LOVE this place; affordable karaoke prices and a vast array of song selection. Getting reservations on the same day can be tough, cuz it s that good, so plan ahead! Staff is real nice too :). I haven t had the food but they have a fine drink selection, so there s options when your throat starts giving up on you when you re singing that fifth ABBA song in a row. Ideal for groups, splitting the bill makes it very affordable.

I went for a group meet up with karaoke. Something I appreciate are the karaoke room, the selection of songs available and the technology used to connect with the karaoke systems. Furthermore there is free wifi which was cool. I only gave a slightly lower score because there is limited selection of drinks and I have seen that sometimes the bartenders did not give full drinks to some of my friends who ordered cocktails.
