Food was decent. First time there and staff was great at guys dong me to choose. Would definitely be back to try other dishes. Would have liked to see more no/less spice dishes. Maybe next time.
Came here after the tcs waterfront marathon desperately in need of some comfort food. It didn't disappoint. I got the shrimp rose udon, which although was a bit too spicy for me (it says mild spicy but I'm so bad with spice) and didn't have anything in the dish except literally shrimp and udon (like not even a veggie), it hit the spot. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for udon. My friends' orders were all delicious as well. Service was great; super friendly and polite even when it was busy
I don't know if it was because we went there on Saturday night, but the place was busy. Almost all tables were occupied, and many drivers were taking food, but nothing that bothered us as the service was very attentive. I took a bulgogi bibimbap and my husband a seafood tteokbokki. We are not used to Korean food, and we thought it was a very good experience. The texture is very different from what we use to eat, and it tastes very good.
I’m extremely satisfied with my Korean food craving. Every dish feels authentic. Probably the best Korean restaurant I’ve ever tried . Things to improve on. Service and portion size.
Great experience at BAPBO K-CUISINE! The food was delicious, especially the shrimp fried rice and the Boneless fried chicken, which was cooked perfectly. The service was good and friendly, and the ambiance was cozy and welcoming. Definitely recommend for a memorable meal!
Here it is a hidden gem, close to Dundas Square and Eaton centre. The place is small, but always we found space. It's me and my husband and normally we always share 2 dishes and a starter. Today we asked for kimchi pancake that was super delicious 🤤, was tasty and perfect texture, then the spicy pork with rice, and beef noodle dishes very good. Portion are ok as well not too big, but no tiny. And they also bring you snacks at the beginning ( kimchi and cucumber) . Something that my husband lovesss it is that when you asked for Sapporo beer, came in a frosty jar that he said it's heaven during ahot day. Service amazing, our waitress was always with a smile. Sorry that I forget her name, but she use glasses. And was a Sunday at 2pm. Thanks guys for a great lunch.
I started with the potato croquet then had the spicy seafood soup and yangnyam chicken. I highly recommend the spicy seafood soup because it came with plenty of seafood and noodles. The broth was amazing. The chicken was also top notch but the soup has my top vote. The appetizers are not worth it. I also tried some of my partners gamari appetizer which was good as well as the croquet but not necessary for a good dining experience. I will definitely try the pork bone stew next time. The staff were truly wonderful, kind and prompt.
4.5 stars. Fairly priced dishes. Friendly staff. Food was overall delicious but can be improved - we tried a bibimbap and the seafood noodles. Rice for bibimbap was slightly mushier than we’d expect and the noodles felt a bit overcooked. Otherwise flavour was decent. Good for a quick sit down dinner.

This place is close to my work place so I have been there couple of times for lunch! I walk to this place or take the street car always because there are no parkings most of the times! The food is good (I don t have a diet or any allergies so I am not sure if they consider those but they have vegetarian options) and the place itself is clean and cozy!The only thing about this place is the service! They are slow to do everything! To take order, bring food and they just leave you there till you ask for something!! No checking no water! I hope they do something about it

it was a pleasant surprise to find a cozy and calm restaurant in the middle of a busy city. The food was good and the portion was perfect. It helps that the servers were very nice as well. washroom is downstairs Kid-friendliness: kids enjoyed the rose tteokbokki, not to spicy. lots of space and not overwhelming

The food was okay, but the service was terrible. I dined in with a companion, and 20 seconds after placing my order, I changed my mind from a rice bowl to a combo box. The waitress told me I couldn t change the order because they had already started cooking. However, half an hour later, our food still hadn t arrived. When I asked about it, I was told they hadnt even started cooking yet. Many people who arrived after us had already finished their meals while we were still waiting. Their apology was a small can of Sprite. It was an unpleasant two hours, and I won t be returning.
Overall the food was well-seasoned and portions are decent! Truly enjoyed their Creamy Tteokbokki and Kimchi

This place has become a regular favourite of mine! I ve done both dine-in and take-out and the food delivers everytime. My new favourite is the shrimp rose udon (which sadly got taken off Uber Eats). The vibes are very nice and they have affordable lunch deals. The service can be on and off during busy times but it is 9 times out of 10 very good! Overall, I love taking people here to eat. Their kimchi is one of the best I ve ever had!

This is a hidden gem where you can enjoy authentic Korean food at a reasonable price in Toronto. The home-cooked flavors are appealing, and the standard menu items such as kimchi jjigae and sundubu jjigae are especially recommended. The lunch menu is also extensive, with plenty of portions and good value for money. The inside of the store has a homely atmosphere, and you can feel comfortable stopping by. There are many dishes with a strong spiciness, but there are also gentler flavors, so everyone is sure to be satisfied! If you like Korean food, be sure to visit this place.

I ve only been here a handful of times, but every time has been nothing short of excellent. I always get the kimchi fried rice, and it s always brought out very quickly, and tastes delicious. The staff are attentive and there have never been any issues. Would highly recommend Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are a little slim, but everything that is available is very good.

Great fresh Korean food. Nice selection of soju. We ordered the soon tofu, soon seafood tofu and bulgogi beef stew. For appetizers we got fried chicken and kimchi pancake. Really enjoyed our meal and great Kimchi with our banchan! Very friendly staff as well.

This was my first experience trying Naegmyeon through the Naengmyeon + Galbi combo. These two go together perfectly, the salty, flavorful Galbi with the refreshing Naengmyeon. The food was a grey price and would recommend to anyone in the area

I always stop by this restaurant when I visit the city. From the service to the food, everything is great. The staff is so nice and warm, they really cared. The food is delicious (their Bulgogi is the best the fry chicken is on another level. Try it!). Also they give a lot of side dish. Cant wait to go back

Really great food! The spicy pork BBQ and potato croquettes were amazing. Unfortunately, on a Sunday evening, there werent enough waiters for the whole restaurant. Service was really slow, we didnt get our drinks until we reminded them and never got any water service. Really feel bad for the 2 or 3 waiters working tonight. Still recommend for the food!

The shrimp tempura was really good just that the serving is kinda small. The ganjang chicken was really tasty, it was sweet enough that I could still taste the chicken.

This is the second time I come to this restaurant. There are many Korean restaurants nearby, but the taste of this restaurant is quite good. I will continue to visit it!! Vegetarian options: Most noodles have vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: The taste of fried noodles with soy sauce is very suitable for children!! In addition, there are many non-spicy foods that children can try.
I missed bibimbap so much while living in Canada. The vegetables were plentiful and the meat was delicious. Gochujang tastes just like I imagined... It was as delicious as the bibimbap I eat in Korea.

Its a place that soothes the mind and body of Koreans who are tired from eating only salty, sweet, and spicy food while traveling in North America... The kimchi stew is crazy, its really so delicious. Two women ordered one kimchi stew per person, and we ate most of it, including rabokki and kimchi pancakes. It was that good. This is not a restaurant, but a sanctuary. Koreans, please go there.

My very first Korean meal was at Bapbo 3 years ago - kimchi stew. Ive visited here several times since and of all the Korean restaurants Ive tried, Bapbo is easily one of my favorites.
I recently tried tteokbokki and it was absolutely delicious! The rice cakes were perfectly chewy, and the spicy-sweet sauce had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming.
