I ve been to this restaurant several times previously because of their good Korean fried chicken but today I had the worst experience here. I ordered take out for 2 fried chicken dishes at 6:25pm with Aiden and he told me that the order will be ready in 30-40 minutes. But when I came back to pick up the order at 6:55pm, I was asked to wait by the female server with no explanation. At 7:10pm as I haven t gotten the order, I asked the same female server about where my order was and she said there was a failure in the kitchen. The order was finally ready at 7:15pm and only received ONE can of pop as compensation for an extended wait. So you are telling me that an extended wait is worth CAD2.50. What an insult and disrespect towards their customer. The food was decent though and hence the 2 stars but the servers need to learn about decent customer service and don t make promises if you can t keep.

I dined at this place yesterday around 9pm. The staff were okay, and the food was okay, nothing spectacular. Everything could have been fine until something horrible happened. There was a rotting smell, perhaps old alcohol or something similar near the bar area. In hindsight, it should have been a warning sign before a swarm of tiny flies completely overtook the entire dining area. At first, I noticed a few flies buzzing around our table while we were eating. But when I saw one of the staff members using the water faucet in the bar, I initially thought the mist rising from the sink was steam. It wasn t. It was a literal swarm of tiny flies taking flight. The amount of flies suggests that this issue has been building up for a long time, which makes me seriously concerned about the sanitation of the facility. If a health inspector had seen this condition, the place would have been shut down immediately. Within minutes, the flies were everywhere, and people started waving their hands to get rid of flies at their table. After witnessing this, I can never return to this place, nor would I visit any of their locations. What was supposed to be a relaxing evening turned into a horrendous experience, leaving me disgusted.

This place has way too many flies.. we were busy waving our hands so they dont sit on us or the food. Calamari is good with mala sauce.

Pretty good Korean fried chicken, always love their fries and dipping sauces. Service is good, pretty standard. They leave you alone for the most part besides refilling water, etc which I appreciate. Atmosphere is great, the scenery of the street is beautiful besides the noise, which isnt even that bad. Dont sit outside unless youre prepared for bird poop. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.

This is absolutely the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. I could eat the golden fried chicken every day and still crave it on the next day. I think it could use a bit of a touch-up on the atmosphere (make the music better, improve the chairs, and maybe add a patio because theres space in front of the restaurant and next door restaurants have patios, it would be nice in the summer), but otherwise its amazing.

We ordered an original chicken, rose teokbokki and fries with garlic mayo dipping sauce. All of the items we ordered were really great and amazing. Chickens are crispy, teokbokki delicious and crunchy fries with amazing sauce. Would recommend it to everyone and will visit again if we have a chance

My First time in Toronto; was Spectacular! Knowing it the restaurant was only across the street from my hotel. Great Customer Service fast no wait. Food waiting time as usual. But the food was really filling for one person. It felt like two servings. It suggest this place to go for Fried Chicken. It being close to the Chelsea hotel. But one the branches from Seoul.

A place with more Korean sensibility than Korea Its 200g per serving, so its Korean. There is a lot more if you think about it and ask for it. Most part-time workers are Korean, so it s comfortable. If you order, soybean paste stew and side dishes are free refills. Soju costs 23,000 won. I guess you don t want to drink soju haha. Uniquely, bulfun, corn cheese, and steamed egg all in one. The whole experience was rather mediocre, specially when we thought the establishment had 4.8, it was a hard 3. The attendant had to take our order twice as she forgot about it, the food took very long to come and the Chicken was very dry, I got the classic and it seemed it was either poorly made (dry) or not fresh (kept in a heated place, but why the longer serving time?). My friend ordered the Secret sauce which tasted similar at first but was still enjoyable as other flavours popped out. The serving size included 2 pieces with the backbone... Really? Theres barely any meat there, who serves that? I found that very cheap a tactic. The washroom was lacking and tissues or toilet paper and the floor was running with water. Overall a poor experience. The franchise will lose to competition easily since they are not offering much while being mediocre AT BEST. Thought I would come back for the pepper and the DakGalbi but I will not.

We tried the bone in golden fried and the boneless soy garlic. Almost all of it was very dry and very tough to chew. Flavors were fine, but nothing special. I think the boneless batch was a bit worse, as most of it was coated in an outer layer of extreme dryness, like a tough jerky. Some of the fibers of the chicken were so hardened that I literally thought it was bone multiple times. The bone-in batch was 8 pieces, but it was about half a chicken split into relatively small to medium sized pieces. I think being covered in skin helped shield the meat more from the overcooking compared to the boneless batch, so there was no extremely dry outer layer. That didnt stop most of it from being very dry throughout though. The best item by far was the pickled radish. After that was the ice water. Finally, I would rather eat the napkins before having that abomination of chicken again.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Here are my observations: Service: The waiter was slow and inattentive. It took forever to get our orders taken, and we felt neglected throughout the meal. Food Waiting Time: The waiting time for our food was excruciatingly long. We watched other tables receive their orders while ours remained delayed. Food Quality: The cheese Galbi lacked flavor and was disappointingly tasteless. The honey garlic chicken was tasteful but the waiter didnt give us any cutlery, gloves or dishes until we asked for them. Overall Atmosphere: The lackluster service and slow food delivery significantly impacted our overall enjoyment. My friend didn t enjoy their meals either. In summary, this location of Bb.q Chicken fell short of our expectations. I recommend focusing on improving service efficiency and food quality to enhance the dining experience.

FOOD, 1. Chicken, good, typicl korean fry chicken. 2. Hot pot, terrible, cheap balls with water, can not say soup. taste like Instant noodle seasoning. SERVICE, 1. All young guys are very friendly and welcoming; Atmosphere, 1. shaking and unstable table; 2. dirty washroom; 3. The door handles in the corridor and the floor were a mess, and everything felt greasy and dirty.

Great atmosphere chicken was so crispy.

Food is good, chicken is well-seasoned, portion is enough for 2. 1 recommendation: restaurant should have half and half option so customers can try different flavours of chicken without over order.

Every time I order from here, one of the items is missing. Please double-check.

It was not busy when we went. We ended up getting the Elm specials such as the Lemon Cheesling Chicken, Lemon Fries and the Rosè Mac and Chicken! I would recommend the Lemon Cheesling Chicken to try out!

Ordered the secret sauce chicken with radish and they forgot to pack us the radish.... the take out bag was all stapled so we found out the radish was missing when we came home. Not sure why they forgot to pack the radish as they were not busy (there was only 1 table they had to serve).

I went here for a birthday, and I loved this bar. Prices were very affordable for downtown, the food was tasty, especially the fries with Garlic sauce, and the customer service was fantastic. I want to thank the waitress who I forgot her name, but I think it was Brie (Red Hair); she went above and beyond to make us feel great.

Incompetent servers. Ignore customers multiple times, choose to chat instead, shakes head when they are called, and comes minutes later. Why go to a restaurant refusing to serve? I like chimken

The chicken was super tasty. We really enjoyed the honey garlic wings and the gangnam style boneless chicken. Those were our favourite flavours. Our server Bri was awesome, super attentive and friendly. She went above and beyond to make our dining experience there special it was very appreciated among our group! Thank you Bri! Definitely recommend eating here!

The BBQ chicken in Eglinton was soo clean and have very accommodating staff! Food is really good especially the cheeseling flavor! It is so addicting, after that night we asked our friend to buy us next day and then now I had to have it delivered at work since I want it soo bad. TRY it cause its really yummy! Cheeseballs are great too!

I recently had an experience at BBQ Chicken that was a mix of disappointment and satisfaction, which I feel compelled to share. My visit took place at an unconventional hour, around 1AM, craving their much-raved-about Hot Crispy chicken. I made sure to point directly to it on the menu and enunciated clearly to avoid any confusion. After a 20-minute wait on a chilly night, I eagerly took my order home, only to discover a mix-up: instead of the Hot Crispy chicken I ordered, I received Hot Spicy chicken, the variety smothered in sauce. This was not what I was looking forward to, and naturally, I felt very disappointed. BTW wouldnt recommend their fries. Soggy and cold. When I called the restaurant to address the mistake, the initial response was denial, which added to my frustration. However, they eventually offered a solution: either return the incorrect order for an exchange or accept a credit for future use. Opting for the latter, I returned the next day for the Hot Crispy chicken I initially wanted. Thankfully, the chicken was as delightful as I had hoped, living up to its reputation. Yet, I can t overlook the initial mishap of receiving the wrong order, especially after a considerable wait in the cold. While I appreciate the restaurant s effort to rectify the mistake, the experience was marred by the initial disappointment and the hassle of resolving the issue.

Second bbq chicken location Ive been to and really enjoyed the food. For four people we ordered a couple bottles of soju, and 3 boneless flavours - secret sauce, Gangnam style, and the pa dak which was a honey-based sauce that was our favourite. Chicken was really juicy and tender. We also ordered the cheesling fries which were covered in powdered cheese, which was addictive. Only negative Id say is the basement where the bathrooms are smells really bad.

BEST CHICKEN I LOVE BBQ CHICKEN

The reviews mention that this is the best Korean fried chicken in the world and I may not have the full worlds worth of fried chicken, I do live in the south (US) so Ive had tons of fantastic fried chicken and I can easily say this ranks in the top 3 Ive ever had. The place is fairly quiet and easy to get to with a fair amount of seating. Food came out quick and was fresh and delicious. Their hottest sauce was actually pretty warm which was a perk. Price was a smidge high and after we ordered and got our food we didnt see our server until we asked for her. Otherwise amazing food and atmosphere. Would visit again in a heartbeat.

We tried three types of bbq chicken. All are fresh and crispy. We all enjoy the bone in spicy one most. There are lots of fries in the combo set. We went there and made a to go order. We placed our order at around 4:50pm. Wait time was around 25min.

PERFECT CHICKEN PLACE IN TORONTO, or maybe in Canada. This is actually a famous brand in Korea. I have tried the chicken in Korea but was more delicious than Korea. I ate the golden fried chicken. When I bitten the first time, I felt like it was heaven. If you didnt try it yet, I definitely want to recommend this place. Absolutely the place is not perfect. One thing is that it is a little expensive. But it is worth to try it!

bb.qs Elm location is super cozy and offers lots of different happy hours, student deals and weekly deals. We had the chance to try their chicken recently and we went for the Galbi Q Boneless Chicken and it was really delicious! I liked that they also gave the picked radish for free, some places charge. It was quick easy to pick up a chicken dinner that night! I hoping next time I can try their other korean food offerings

The portion is quite small compared to the price (half a chicken). I went there trusting the name of a large company, but was quite disappointed. I ate here and went to the fry for chicken, but it seemed to cost twice as much (similar price). Koreans should go to other chicken restaurants instead of this one.

I recently ordered 2 sets of honey garlic wings at BBQ Chicken, taking advantage of the buy one get one offer. However, upon receiving the order, it turned out to be soy garlic instead, evident from the dark color captured in the picture. The wings were unexpectedly salty with a strong soy smell and despite querying the server, the chef insisted it was honey garlic. Weve been loyal customers due to our preference for honey garlic, and this mix-up left us disappointed and frustrated. Additionally, our request for sauce on the side resulted in being given soy garlic sauce instead. Overall, our craving went unsatisfied during this visit.It was really disappointing.

I ve been to this location a few times now. It s fairly convenient to get to, and just a few minutes walk away from Yonge-Dundas Square and CF Toronto Eaton Centre. There s lots of seating, and there s always somewhere to sit down for walk-in s in my experience. Their fried chicken is crispy on the outside and moist inside. I usually get the Cheesling flavour and they re very generous with their seasoning on the chicken and the fries. The seasoning is super flavourful. Service is fairly attentive. Sometimes there are times when there is only one person attending to multiple tables so it might take time to get their attention. When I was there last, about 1-2 more people started also helping customers which definitely helped the service. It s a good place to hang out and get great food for good value. Easy to recommend.

We wanted to try this place for a long time and did a take out from here. The food is packed really well. The skip offer was free cheese balls. Just be careful to not overheat and eat because the cheese can burn your tongue. The cheese balls was sweet in flavor. Even the wings but very flavorful. You can tell that the chicken is good quality and it doesnt have that used oil smell which is a sign of good quality. We saw that its a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The huge beer dispenser looks like a fun thing to do with a large group. They had a happy hour going on when we went but you had try order food/apps as well as a condition. So we skipped. Overall, a good place but not a cheap eats kind of place. You get good food for the price you pay.
