Clean space, excellent service- and the food is fantastic! Good portions, well seasoned, and delicious. I got the pork bone soup to go and I was happy to see there was a lot of meat, and it was very well wrapped up and packaged well so there would be no leaks. That kind of attention to detail means a lot and is greatly appreciated. I ll be back again!

We came in 50 minutes before close (I m so sorry) but the service was incredible, the food was SENSATIONAL, and the miso soup was so comforting. What a restaurant.

I just ordered the Bibimbap from them on DoorDash, and I was blown away! Everything was on point the portion size, the flavours, the side dishes, and even the packaging. I really appreciated the use of paper packaging instead of plastic; it s such a thoughtful touch that not many restaurants are willing to invest in. I m super impressed and can t wait to visit in person to try more!

I always pass by this restaurant and my husband and I decided to try the food here! My hubby s favourite food is pork bone soup and mine is jeyuk bokkum(spicy pork)! They were so yummy with well balanced flavour! Pork bone meat was so tender and there was some cabbage leaves( it s called woo-ger-gy) which we love for pork bone soup!! It tastes like the one from South Korea! The broth was perfectly flavourful! Jeyuk-bokkum is amazing with rice and little side dishes! Portion for both menu was very good!! We are so happy to have found this authentic korean restaurant!! Definitely, we will come back next time!!!

Follow @bredgyeats for yummy food pictures! Gamjatang/Pork Bone Stew - 3 bigger chunks of pork bones, with pieces that had a higher meat percentage. The meat is well seasoned and absorbed some of the broth flavoring, which was had moderate depth, salty, and slightly porky. It wasnt spicy though. Also came with some potatoes but they werent very tender, and one slice napa cabbage along with perilla seeds on top (maybe they were mustard seeds?). The rice was perfectly cooked, moist, soft yet you can taste the indiv. grains. Banchan - Regular kimchi, quite sweet pickled radish, and caramelized sugar syrup potatoes.

I didnt sit down to eat. I only picked up food for a friend. I ended up accidentally knocking over a bunch of menus and felt really bad. But the hostess was incredibly sweet. My friend shares the his food with me and it was really good as well. The presentation was quite nice as well. Id recommend eating here. With such nice folks making such enjoyable food its nothing less than a satisfying experience.

Hands down, the kimchi is amazing. The service is very efficient. I had the shrimp tempura for dine in. Recent order was great. I got the 6 piece Galbi special and terriyaki tofu. I could not be happier, that Daol has very satisfying Kalbi ribs that are perfectly moist bbq. When meat is tender without being tough and flavourful it gives you the satisfying texture and mouth feel of a delicious experience. The additional Kimchi, radish in take out provides additional feeling of traditional comfort. The bulgogi dinner was also prepared well and it s reassuring to have rice packed separately. This is mainly because I don t like too much sauce on the rice. Take it from me that the portion is fair and reasonable in take out. Spring rolls had crispy skins and were prepared just minutes before arrival. I hope to dine in soon. Otherwise, I believe that I bought enough Kimchi ($12) to make my home cooking exciting. Kalbi large and bulgogi meals, spring rolls feature rice and miso soup which was just perfect. I have enough for two more two people s dinners, with leftovers and Kimchi for about one month. Just full of flavour and great home cooking kindness.

I ordered it through Uber Eats and it was so delicious. It felt like old fashioned tteokbokki with lots of vegetables! I asked for it to be spicier, but it was so spicy that all my stress went away while eating it haha. Thank you

The food was incredible! A coworker was eating the Kimchi Fried Rice and after how good it smelled I knew I HAD to try it for myself. I was not disappointed! It comes with all of these little sides and the dish in general is bursting with flavour. Mind you this is my first time ordering from them but I m excited to go experience more dishes from this restaurant in person!

Cozy little family owned Authentic Korean restaurant. The large pictures of menu items were very helpful and the server (Jennifer) was exceptionally courteous. Tried the very Delicious BALGOGI Beef platter which was sizzling, and came with rice + an elaborate salad option + Miso soup. Well cooked, tender, juicy and loved every bite. Suggested improvements: Use of Disposable chopsticks (instead of reusable ones), Glassware (not plastic) and perhaps some new crockery. Great food, will certainly come back!

I wanted to try Daol for a while and it was pretty good. The sides where kimchi, marinated daikon radish and cold mashed potatoes with corn. All three were fun side dishes to wet the palette before the main event. I had the Pork Bone Soup. This is my go-to in order to compare the flavours. Very flavorful and authentic. The bowl was simmering but did not overcooked the vegetables. Rice was really good and Im not a fan of rice lol . Portions were average. Would have liked to see more veg in my soup. Service was friendly. Vibe was very cozy simple clean - feel of sitting at someones kitchen table. Even so it wasnt and inviting feel. Pricing was moderate. There is little competition for Korean food in this area.

The cutest and warmest Korean restaurant! The food tastes so good, you can taste the authenticity in each meal that we had. Please please please order the Jap Chae as a starter, the jap chae here has a sweetness to it that just makes it so light and delicious. My friend and I couldn t help but want to save the last bites of the jap chae starter despite having our own meals. I ordered the kimchi jjigae and it was delicious and very flavourful. The restaurant also offers complimentary tea!

Everytime Im around this area I come here for lunch this small Korean restaurants makes very good food tried many items and there all tasty my favorite is the pork bone soup so yummy. Restrusnt is very cosy and the service is amazing very kind people

First time giving feedback for an Uber meal, and I have to say, their food is fantastic! The seafood tofu soup (Soon tofu) is super tasty, loaded with lots of seafood. The soup is delicious, and it comes with a small portion of rice and side dishes. Ill definitely visit their shop someday to try it fresh at the restaurant.

Tried the pork bone soup at this restaurant today. It was okay, but nothing special. The meat could use more cooking; it was a bit hard to eat.

Environment is pretty clean and the service is on point. The fry rices and bibimbap are unbelievably delicious. The LA galbi is also tender and full of flavor. Will definitely recommend to anybody looking for unforgettable Korean cuisine experience.

I just came here for dinner and had the Yaki-U-dong (veggie). The service and warmth from the staff is unreal. The bean soup is out of this world! My new go-to place. I can t wait to try other dishes.

Ordered the bulgogi and chicken teriyaki bento, it was so good, especially the bulgogi!! As shown in the picture it came with two fried vegetable dumplings, rice and a choice of water or hot tea as well as miso soup on the side. Definitely fair for the price and taste, it will make you full. Recommended

Hidden gem! Tucked away on the corner of Queen West and Dunn in Little Tibet, this Korean restaurant is affordable and delicious! We visited on a weeknight and the restaurant had ample seating, the owners were friendly and prompt in getting us tea and taking our order. Everything was affordable and portion sizes were generous! Our bill for 2 people was only $35 before tip. I highly recommend getting the gamjatang as pork was tender and flavourful you ll also get a few common banchan to compliment your meal. We ll definitely be back to try other dishes!

Wonderful Korean bistro in the heart of Parkdale, Toronto.

I ordered Ubereats Kimchi- Jjigae and Bibimbop. A lot of things were missing, Kimchi- Jjigae didnt come with a bowl of rice when its stated on the menu rice is included. Bibimbop didnt come with sauce, the whole bowl of Bibimbop was so dry! Very disappointing!

When we initially called they were completely out of their pork bone soups however, offered us the chance to wait 30 minutes for a fresh batch. I m glad we waited, it was one of thee most flavourful pork bone soups I ve ever indulged on! 10/10 from the flavour, the speed, the hospitality overall a great experience - we ll definitely be back!

I visit the restaurant in a hot day, the waitress brings half of the glass with warm water, when I ask for cold water o ice she they didnt have any, no cold water and no ice, for my is something basic an any place I visit, specially in a hot day of summer.

I been order here for 3 year. Love the food here. They double wrap my soup take out to make sure no spilled there. Very clean. Very satified.

Went here as a spur of the moment decision and honestly, best decision ever. The staff were super friendly, very helpful and worked really fast which was amazing considering we were starving! The atmosphere was nice, the restaurant itself is small but cozy and the music wasnt too loud so you could comfortably have conversations but still enjoy the vibes. The food itself was amazing, super good. I ordered the bulgogi bibimbap and it was super yummy. Some other Korean restaurants that Ive been to tend to over cook the beef, making it really tough, but it was cooked perfectly here. I will 100% be visiting here again!

Not only was the food (and their appetizers) really good (obviously), the owner are so kind. We went there almost a month ago before closing and they still welcomed us. I then forgot my jacket there and only realized it almost a month later. I called and they still have it. Thank you thank you thank you!

I visited because I heard the gamjatang was delicious, and it was really delicious! The portions were generous and the side dishes were delicious, so it was the first satisfying meal I had in a long time. I don t like spicy food, but it was nice because it wasn t spicy!! The servers were really friendly and the inside of the store was clean. I plan to visit again next time to try something else! On an additional visit, I tried the seafood soft tofu, and it was very tasty as it was full of flavor and spicy!!

There s something about the food that comes from a Korean kitchen that just hits the spot. This restaurant does that for me. They re clean, fast, friendly, and an excellent option if you re looking for a hot & wholesome meal to warm you up during winter. Parkdale is known for their momo s but don t be sleeping on this wonderful family-owned Korean restaurant. Great place to grab authentic Korean food. We got their bentos. Portions were big, food was flavourful, meat was tender. I wish for the amount of meat we got, the amount of kimchi, beans and pickled raddish was proportional.

I love this place, staff is very friendly and the food is well cooked. Often times the chef and peope working in the back come out to make sure you are happy with your order. They have a really good salad here that has a very unique taste. I always get the chicken katsu when I come here. A really good family style restaurant, with many options and choices. Really good sushi also!

Cant go wrong with Pork Bone Soup. They make a nice Gamjatang, tastes authentic I loved it. The place is nice and cozy too, and has friendly staff.

An amazing and much needed addition of Korean food to Parkdale. Super fresh food, great prices and amazing service. The only improvement I would add is I wished that the takeout boxes were more environmentally friendly. At the moment theyre all black plastic. I hope we can get some of the compostable containers in the future.

It was the most delicious gamjatang I had 3 years after coming to Canada from Korea to study :) It was packaged meticulously and the side dishes were neat. I think Ill have it delivered often! I would say this Pork Bone Soup wont disappoint you esp who reallly miss Korean Pork Bone Soup! More than 5 stars of quality!!

The food was awesome tasting. Very authentic food as well, having had been adopted from, and later returned and traveled in South Korea for a month. The only thing that Id noticed was that their Bulgogi dinner wasnt served with lettuce, as it is traditionally served. But everything was delicious. They had really nice K-Pop playing the background too. Its worth going to to get the experience.

The absolute best restaurant we have been to in Toronto! The owner/staff wonderful and gracious. The food is amazing; all home made- perfect kimchi, the pork(jeyuk) bibimbop was out of this world. We also got the short rib (la galbi) bento box, wow. Nice k-pop music and a very clean, pretty place. You are missing out if you don t try this place. We seriously are coming back tomorrow! Can t wait to try 2 new dishes!!!!!

I came to Toronto from out of town and ate Korean food for the first time in 2 years. It was so delicious that I almost cried !!! The portion was really big, so much that I packed it up and ate it until breakfast!!! As soon as I take a bite, I think of Korea,, A really good restaurant,, If you go, I highly recommend trying the real Gamjatang!!! I was super happy to get very authentic and tasty Korean food! I highly recommend it!

You haven t eaten here? Get to it! This place is phenomenal! We ended up eating here the night after our first visit because this food is that great. I had japchae, a great clear noodle dish this 2nd night. My husband had the exact same dish, the short rib bento box. Fresh kimchi we could eat here every night! Try it you ll be hooked!

The food at Daol is amazing! Hidden gem in the neighborhood. We keep coming back for Soon Tofu, but the chicken wings are also a major highlight. Great staff and service.

One of the (many) hidden gems of Little Tibet; everything tastes fresh (especially the fried stuff) and the portions are very generous. I usually come here for the set menus but standalone dishes are also very delicious.

Such a great gamjatang soup, really authentic with the extra ground sesame. Im so glad they just opened here like a week ago, the owners are so nice. And the barley tea (bori cha?) is perfect

Went there for the first time with my fellow Korean food loving friend yesterday(December 6th), and I was impressed! I ordered a Pork Bone Soup that came with the standard side dishes and a bonus Miso soup. Top tier service and good vibes at the front bar style table overlooking Queen St. I ll be heading there from now on when I crave some Pork Bone Soup!
