Servers are so kind!!! Side dishes are yummy and portions are huge. Personally, the yuzu honey garlic chicken was my fave. Kalbi bibimbap was the least liked but still decent. Pork bone broth is great.

The staff and chefs are Korean, very friendly, and they thoughtfully check if the food suits your taste during the meal. The restaurant has Wi-Fi, restrooms, and accepts both cash and credit cards (cash is preferred 👍). I ordered pork with bones, and the portion was much bigger than I expected! When it came, it looked like a small mountain 🤣. It was almost too much for one person to finish, but it was super tasty and satisfying. Even though I’ve had similar dishes in Korea, I feel like this place tastes even better!

Been going to Kachi on and off for years. This location is my favourite, casual chill vibe and they have nice side dishes such as potato’s and noodles. Tried their naengmyeon on a hot summer day, which is a nice dish to cool down with. What is unique about it is it has slices of watermelon!
I dined at KACHI and had an exceptional experience. The spicy dishes were outstanding, and the side dishes were fresh and flavorful, perfectly complementing our meal. Before returning on the last day of my trip to the eastern part of the US and Canada, I chose Magpie Restaurant. After personally experiencing the meal at a recommended restaurant I found through search, it was really delicious. ^^ The uncle who served me was also very kind, and the food tasted even more delicious. I plan to come visit you next time I come to Toronto.^^ (Highly recommended)

I became a regular after stumbling upon this place randomly one day. Food is excellent, authentic, generous portions (I come exclusively at night btw). Service is nice and efficient. The overall look of the restaurant is, shall I say avant garde? Just not really my thing and not the restaurants strong point. Not that it matters if all you want is good Korean food and this place impresses with basically all the dishes Ive tried so far.

I don t write bad reviews. I came for a pick up order, that was estimated to be ready in 30 minutes. Once I arrived the food was not ready and order was never even put through. No accountability was taken. Poor service.

Food is incredible, have had bibimbap here before as well as a few other meat dishes and have never been disappointed. The banchan was also delicious. For the price point the restaurant ambience is what you d expect. Our server was nice and met all our needs. Been here a few times and will certainly be back !

Havent been back in years and came here for lunch. Got the dolsot bibimbap. Was very good and rich at bottom was crunchy (I.e. the hot stone was hot enough). Server was very friendly and proactive in refiling the ban chan. Really enjoyed it and great value for lunch

September 26, 2024, 8:30 PM. After finishing my day, I found a magpie restaurant at the entrance to Chinatown to try mussels for dinner. I was hungry so I went in and the Korean owner and staff greeted me kindly. Since it was our 8th night, we missed Korean food, so the three of us ate soybean paste stew and kimchi stew to our fill, and they took care of refilling the side dishes. With a cash payment discount, its only $50. In addition, I was a bit stressed in Canada because of the mandatory tip and separate tax, but I was impressed by Magpie Restaurants neat calculation, similar to Seoul. I wanted to voluntarily give more. They kept asking if I needed anything. It was a delicious and touching evening. I hope Magpie House becomes a hit.

My partner and I enjoyed the spicy pork bulgogi jungsik and the spicy pork squid jungsik. The portions were large and came at a fair price, they were also served with complementary side dishes, which came with free refills! The service was also excellent, the servers were polite and always ensured we were well attended to. We will definitely be returning and I strongly recommend this place for delicious Korean food.

I had the LA Galbi and ttukbaegi bulgogi for a late night meal. It s really convenient as many restaurants close early but KACHI closes late! Both dishes were pretty good and it comes with side dishes which were yummy.

Pretty mid food all things considered, service staff was extremely rude. I got a sundubu jigae and there was no egg, the server tried to gaslight me by saying there is an egg it s just not visible to the naked eye because it s too fresh. Refused to accept it and he says oh I can add another egg if you want Gf got a dish that usually has glass noodles in it, when she found out there was no glass noodles she politely asked for some glass noodles on the side, the server points to the banchan and goes that s glass noodle with the tone of she doesn t know what glass noodle is Like dude what. It s not even about the food at this point, drop your you re beneath me attitude, we re not children over here. I know what an egg looks and tastes like. Would give -15% tip if I could. Would rather starve to death than eat here again.
One of the best Korean restaurant I ve been to so far. The service was excellent, we ordered and in 10 minutes we were already getting our meal. The food was delicious, really fair prices and the quality of the food was excellent. I m really looking forward to coming here again.

Ordered beef bugogi bibimpap. The food is cooked well, vegetables are very nice and fresh. My only issue is that there isn t much flavour and they could have added a little more beef compared to the rice and veggies ratio.

I felt unfairly treated. I asked for vegetarian food and after confirming with the server I ordered a bowl cold noodles. I even tried to confirm again when the server brought the food onto the table if the cold noodle soup is surely vegetarian. The soup looked to me like it had a layer of whitish color floating on the top. And he confirmed yes it was vegetarian. After a few sips of the soup I discovered a piece of meat in the bowl. I feel disgusted because I have been a strict vegetarian for years. I calmed myself down to the best way I could and showed it to the server and asked to change the dish to a pancake instead that was supposed to be also vegetarian. I know it probably wasnt entirely the server s fault and I didn t want to give him a hard time. But I would never go to that restaurant again. I would not recommend for any vegetarians to go. The restaurant will most likely respect you in other ways but they are careless in respecting your diet restrictions. I still feel upset about the incident. The staff probably didnt do it on purpose but they were surely careless. I do have a strict diet thats why I tried to confirm a few times if the food is vegetarian. And they still served me meat. I cannot imagine if someone has a food allergy what would have happened. The restaurant should really be more cautious and more considerate. Please respect other people s diets and allergies. It s not a joke Dietary restrictions: A careless restaurant. Mixed meat in vegetarian request.

While passing through China Town, we wanted to have dinner at all costs to immortalize the visit and we stopped at this restaurant by chance. The food was good, our meals were hot. On the other hand, due to the fact that there were a lot of Uber deliveries, the setting and atmosphere were a little biased because everything is done in full view of the customer. Otherwise they do good cooking.
