From the best Korean barbeque kalbi to vegan-friendly options like the p[ictured spicy and flavorful Tofu with Vegetables on Rice that I have each time I go there, every dish is a testament to the skill and dedication of the team. Got 2 takeout bibimbaps :) So good and the man at the front was very nice to us.

Hidden gem is right - everything was delicious and the gamjatang (pork bone soup) falls off the bone. Super low key and meant to be a takeout joint (only takeout containers/cutlery) but there s plenty of seating. There aren t a lot of Korean spots in the area and I m so glad to have found this spot!

I ve been craving & enjoying Mister Yummy (previously Yummy BBQ) for the last 25yrs. Me and my family order take out or eat in any chance we get! My go-to is Spicy BBQ pork with rice! Can t say enough about this little spot!

Bbq dinner is great. Only takeout but they have several tables so you can hang out and eat. Love the tofu side. Great price for down town. Get chicken and ribs.

A neighborhood classic and hole in the wall place. Ive been coming here since I was in highschool and it still hits. Quantity is great and even if the atmosphere isnt instaworthy (if you care about that) the food is , especially the BBQ. When he asks you, Spicy or no spice?, do yourself a favour and say spicy!! Truly one of my favourite places to get food. Ive been coming here since I was a little girl, and Sean has always been so great to my family and me. The House Noodles and side Macaroni are my number 1 go-to! The prices are great, and the food is so tasty and made with love! Please support this business if you can! <3

Worst experience, never again. Messed up my order instead of the meal deal i gotb4 ribs for 19.25$. No rice no side dishes. 6$ more for him to correct my order. 25.25$ for 4 ribs(19.25), steamed rice and a tablespoon of veggies 6$. Ribs super tough, old. Rice was good. Tbs of veggies decent. Experience TERRIBLE

My favorite place to visit after work by 6pm and he always knows what I want when he notices its me. Lol I get the same order of fried dumplings. Its addictive. Stupid service, completely disrespectful of guests. When I waited for 30 minutes, he told me that you didn t have time , go home. This makes me feel serious racial discrimination, and I will never come back.

Food is terrible, I paid $25 for small chicken balls and veggie house noodle. What a waste of money. It tasted like garbage

I ve been coming here since I was 3 years old living on Roncesvalles. I m now 26 years old and the food is just as flavourful. Truly a HIDDEN GEM in Toronto. No other Korean food compares. I hope this business stays open forever!

I know hidden gem is a meme but this is actually a hidden gem: tucked away in a dead mall is some of the best bulgogi and kbbq around, comparable to the nice restaurants in Korea town. Kimchi stew is delicious too.

Delicious Korean BBQ to go. Call ahead and call often they are busy and can t always get to your call small family run establishment. Phenomenal food and service well done. : ) Repeat customer for life.

Amazing Korean food and good price

Went here expecting a hidden gem from all the positive reviews and was greatly disappointed Average food at best, with average price point. BBQ Chicken dish and Ramyun soup for $25 CASH is nothing special. Dont bother.

This hidden gem is worth a visit! You can get a full and delicious meal for 5 bucks! Amazing service and AMAZING FOOD!!

I have been coming here since I was in high school about 7 years ago, I was always met with great service and great quality food. I am no longer in that area often but I often find myself craving their food so I make the trip when I can. The man there that takes the orders is always so nice and he even remembers my order even after all this time. I definitely recommended eating here.

What a restaurant. Clearly caters to the folks living in the area, forming strong community through good food, lovely conversation and the perfect old school restaurant ambiance. If you aren t well versed with Korean food, not to worry, their menu offers explanations of dishes and they have photos of their dishes on the walls. Will be coming back here anytime I m in the neighbourhood.

As i was walking through the mall, the wonderful Aroma coming from Mister yummy drew me in. I ordered the Beef House Noodles and it did not disappoint. The service was fast and food was authentic. 10/10 would recommend!

I cannot begin to explain how amazing this restaurant is. It s a hidden gem that I wouldn t have found if I didn t move to the area. I get the Yum Yum , which comes with bbq ribs, beef, chicken, fried dumplings, plus rice, tofu, bean sprouts, radish, and macaroni as side dishes. All the flavours go so well together and the portions are super generous! The beef stew is also amazing!

The man who owns this shop is so sweet and kind. Ive been here twice, both times I had the beef ramyun. Its very tasty and he gives you huge portions with a yummy side of tofu in a slight spicy sauce and shredded radish(I think).

Ive been going here twice a month on average for 2 years to get the pork bone soup (gamjatang). Its cheap, plentiful and the best Ive had so far in the city. The gentleman who owns the place is very sweet and remembers me and my order every time I come in. The shop and mall are a bit bedraggled, but for me it just adds to the charm.

Lovely Korean home cooking. Very family style owned restaurant and portions were generous. I had the gamjatang and the flavor was great. The meat was falling off the bone.

I come here sometimes for the lunch special. today my hubs got chicken fried rice spicy he really enjoyed it. I know most places have roaches but they lose a star when you see them in the mall. chicken lunch special pictured

Probably the best thing at Crossways Mall. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated, just yummy stir fry for cheap. The guy who works here (Mister Yummy himself, I suppose) is always cheerful. I wish there were more vegetarian options, but the stuff they do have on offer is pretty good. Great for those time when I want dinner but dont want to leave my complex...

The fact that this place has a rating of 4 is truly shocking. I bought stir-fried pork once and threw it all away. It has no taste, the seasoning is strange, and the taste is nothing like this. I have to give it one star. I had high expectations because it was a Korean restaurant, but of course it was. Probably the worst place Ive ever been.

Good, cheap Korean food. Mother and son run the place I think, and is what I imagine homemade Korean food is like.

The chicken was covered in charcoal and tasted like it had been cooked on a grill that hasnt been cleaned in years. The noodles were clumped together and the vegetables mushy and soggy. Seriously appalled by the lack of quality, especially considering the price is higher than most Korean take out places...

Cheap Korean restaurant with tons of menu options and genuine, well cooked Korean food. Some of the menu items were not available when I ordered, but it didnt really bother me because theres so many options for you to choose from. You can order the food zero spicy which is a big plus for me. Really enjoyed my Bibimbap, many amazing flavours going on and it was a very generous portion. I was surprised! This is a hidden gem.

Great food~! Doesnt taste like authentic Korean food, but the food is great if you are trying Korean cuisine around Dundas West subway station for the first time. I recommend the the Kimchi Tteokbokki as my personal fave.

Good food at good prices. Mall is scary, restaurant looks sketchy but food is of good quality and it is clean. There can be long line ups for lunch as a high school is across the street and there is a $5 lunch special.

The renovations to the mall have helped this restaurant. Mister Yummy has surprisingly good Korean food. Also the owners are really friendly. They have really large lunch specials before 4:00 for like $5.00. Usually when I go there after 4, I just get the BBQ chicken, beef or pork.

This Restaurant is one of my favorite places. I love their fried dumplings & beef ribs. The servers are extremely polite and timely with the food: served steaming hot. The menu is reasonably priced considering the atmosphere. Although, the mall its located with-in was rather rugged before but theyre renovating the mall and Hopefully will be completed by around January 2013.
