Not a lot of seating but the fried chicken is delicious. Boneless is also really good.

They have some of the best Korean fried chickens in the GTA. We always get their boneless chicken-family size and order half snowing cheese and half soy (or sometimes swicy) and they re always delicious. We usually order on Ubereats and their boxes don t come with a pop bottle just FYI. But they do come with the yummy radish banchan

The place used to be halal but it s *not halal* anymore. They have started serving pork and I m unsure about how much cross contamination there could be between chicken and pork menu items.

The chicken was delicious, we got the cheese and sou flavor, boneless. A decent amount for 4 ppl, though we did have other food to go with it.

I paid $44 for a half-and-half portion, which was quite underwhelming in size. Additionally, they forgot the side pickles and drink. The service has been deteriorating, which might explain the slow pace at this restaurant. Very disappointed.

This is one of the best korean fried chicken places in town that you can get. Its so good but loses one star because of pricing. The chicken prices are not cheap but a nice treat once every few months without breaking the bank.

Mindblowing Korean Chicken! This was probably the best combination ever. Picked it up when we were crazy hungry at lunch. Were thinking of having Korean Chicken for our drive westward, just called up Nene and ordered a half+half Original and Hot Bling combo!! This is a must try! We started eating from North York and were up in tears and lost sensation of tongue with all the spice but we still kept going on and going switching between Original and spicy! Very Much Recommended! Thanks guys for the awesome flavors!

We tried the food at this restaurant for the first time yesterday and ordered the Snowing Spicy Chicken. The chicken was good juicy, crispy, and nicely spicy, though a bit sweet. If you eat with your hands, youll need to wash them because they get sticky, and napkins arent enough to clean them. However, I didnt like the atmosphere due to the loud music and other customers video chatting very loudly. The owner didnt address this, which I found strange.

If youre going to take out, only buy it during the 1+1 event. I dont know if it was because they rotated quickly when I did 1+1, but it was crispy and very delicious. I wanted to eat chicken, so I bought it when I wasnt doing an event, so I guess its because it doesnt rotate much, so its soggy, the seasoned chicken just tastes like ketchup, and the radish is wilted. Chicken here is the most expensive, so why bother ordering it here, even though it costs almost $60? We recommend purchasing it only during the 1+1 event.

I ordered cheese chicken again today after many times here. Last month, I could not order several times because they said snowing cheese was sold out. Today chicken definitely less cheese powder as usual. I only taste little bit cheese flavour. Being disappointed this time.

We got take out from NeNe Chicken today. The quality of the food was good: chicken was juicy, there was enough sauce, the flavour was delicious, the sauces were on point (not too sweet or salty) and our take out experience was quick and good. We got half Swicy and half Soy-Garlic flavour. We arrived based on the suggested 15-20 mins. The food was ready, so we picked up and left right away. Cannot speak to the service or atmosphere as we did not dine in.

Chicken is good and worth the wait but the sides are very disappointing.

Not entirely sure why Nene was rated much higher in comparison to its counterparts, but flavor is lacking and for the price and the hype, I was expecting more. I ordered the half and half - snowing cheese and swicy. Now the question is how do I amplify this chicken after spending approx 50 bucks on dinner. Go to BBQ Chicken or Chicko Chicken instead. They never disappoint.

Hmmm i was a bit disappointed with my time spent at Nene chicken. The service at the beginning was fine. Because well, they had to take our order. The chicken portions were large. It was crispy and juicy. They are stingy with napkins, especially when ur there to eat fried chicken. WITH YOUR FINGERS. They ask for a tip even though you have to go get your own food at the counter. The tables are fine. Would i eat here again? NO. Would I order from here again? Maybe not. Kid-friendliness: Sure. Its very kid friendly. U can bring ur kid and let them walk all over the tables and scream at the top of their lungs.

Came on a Sunday afternoon a bit after it opened. Decided to give this a try since Im rarely in the area. Got the half and half (regular and extra spicy; bone-in) with curly fries; curly fries were just standard, but the chicken was meaty and fresh (regular one had crispy skin). Total was about $50 (with a soda), so i dont see the value to be there to be honest. It was good, but i dont think it was any better than BBQ Chicken. The cashier/server was very friendly and provided excellent service.

This place used to be great and I would at order at least once a month. My most 2 recent experience were horrid; the chicken wasnt even fried correctly once being overcooked and the other time being undercooked. Chicken plus around the corner is way better.

Honestly the actual chicken was not that bad, however it s a bit of a rip off. When you order a family size it says 16 pieces. However out of those 16 pieces we had 4 wings?! I have heard of a place giving wings in bucket meals. Normally it s either thigh, drumstick or breast. They also cut their pieces in half through the bone to make 2 pieces from 1. When you order 16 pieces of chicken it s really like 6 pieces of actual chicken. And 4 chicken wings. Kind of a rip off for the price they charge.

We got takeout from here and the family size chicken was supposed to be 16 pieces. They put 3 wings as part of the 16 pieces which was kind of a rip off, considering we paid $45 for it. They charge about $3 per piece of chicken in the family size so you would assume the portion would compensate but it really is a rip off. The pieces are small, too, making it even worse. They cut each chicken piece in half to make it 2 pieces. Like, come on! There are better places to go for Korean Fried chicken. This certainly isnt the right place if you want a fair price for what is given to you.

We tried half half chicken of Snowing Cheese and Soy Garlic. The chicken was really good! Very tender and tasty. The fries were good as well, and they provide finger gloves and sanitary wipes. The service was very kind and nicely provided. The only thing is that we had stomachache and had to visit the washroom soon after if you know what I mean aha

I love been chicken. The prices have increased steadily since last year, but this is expected based on inflation. The location is not wheelchair accessible.

The place is kinda small. Tried the snowcheese chicken its great! But not the best out there in my opinion. Prices is much cheaper compared to others I think. Highly recommendable!

The chicken with the sauces are very tasty. The ones with the cheese powder is still very tasty but I recommend getting a drink if you order the cheese ones.

Another good option for Korean fried chicken in the area. The swicy flavor is pretty mild overall while the snowing chili has a good kick to it.

We ve gone here multiple times, the place is clean and the chicken is very good. Very small sitting area which means when you go at or near peak hours then good luck finding a spot to sit in. Chicken is delicious, especially the snow chili chicken and soy chicken which is our favourite. Don t come here for the presentation though.

Delicious Korean Fried Chicken! This spot is tiny so you might not be able to dine in as they have about 5-6 tables but their chicken is bomb so definitely try to takeout if you are in the area. I got the #2 and #6 both very juicy.

No recommend. Thick breaded skin was difficult to bite through. The cheese one was flavourless and tasted no much difference from original one. Some pieces were just barely covered by cheese powder.

Finally got to try one of Korea s top fried chicken chains - got the Original NeNe Fried Chicken with their Creamion sauce and it was interesting. It wasn t terrible, but the strong yogurt flavour was throwing me off

Its a fast food type restaurant. The fried chicken was crispy and delicious. Its a busy little restaurant, and its best to order online for take out. Otherwise, the wait could be at least 20 minutes.

OMG! The best Korean Fried Chicken ever!!!! I was in the area and decided to stop in and pick up the 10-piece chicken wings-only deal. The staff immediately greeted me, and we were so welcoming and super friendly! The staff even gave me a small side of the sweet chilli sauce for free! Now, let me tell you, the chicken was not greasy at all! NOT GREASY!!! And the oil NeNe Chicken used to fry was super clean, NO burned used oil flavour! My chicken was cooked right through! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, not too salty, just right! The pickled Daikon, Mmmmm!!! I wish I had more pictures to show other customers, but I couldnt wait and ate them all. Thank you for such a great visit! I will definitely be back, for sure!!

Went to Nene fried chicken for the first time and will NOT go back. Chicken is full of fat and not cleaned. I ordered an 8 piece boneless range and it looked as if they just cut up random pieces of chicken and served. The fries were lack luster and looked liked a kids portion. Overall the chicken is flavorless and greasy. They also increased thier prices. Not worth the price.

Downgraded a lot since it became famous on Tiktok. The places being extremely cheap and budget on what they offering. Chicken: dry, youre eating flour instead of meat. There aint no meat in the chicken pieces. Charging extra for radish when it was offered complimentary before, and also by other chicken places. Fries: charging nearly 5 bucks for exactly 20 pieces of fries ... used to be filled up to half the fries bag. Fries are also undercooked, bit crispy!!!

My new favourite Korean fried chicken shop. I personally love their soy garlic chicken and snow cheese. Cant go wrong with fries and pickled radish on the side too!! I highly recommend! Their chicken is very juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Not too over breaded. Ive only ever ordered take out, so I cant comment on the shop itself. I like their take out boxes though. Theyre all packed really well into a pizza-like box.

First time going to Nene chicken and definitely not my last

Really bad experience. I came here for lunch with coworkers and we order the yes burger, onion rings, and 3pc drumstick lunch combo. One of the chicken burgers was raw on the inside, which the staff acknowledged and refunded. My friend did not finish her burger and lost her appetite, but the rest of us finished our meals. The chicken was very greasy and overwhelming. After several hours our stomach started to hurt. I would avoid this place.

I have to say their food is great. BUT, the amount of flies that s in the restaurant is outrageous. The cashier literally waved off a fly that was happily enjoying my meal when I was checking on my order which had been sitting there for minutes after it s ready. Good luck with your order.

Got takeout from nene for work since we were having a stressful day for everyone Within walking distance and took me so long so try them out but nice to say that this is another solid Korean fried chicken spot right by yonge and sheppard area The chicken was crispy and nice and fresh. The staff was going through it so quick I didn t even get a decent picture lol Service was great. Food promised at the pick up time, give or take a minute or two. Really impressed considering I had 3 half orders and 4 servings of fries There is also seating in there but very limited and parking can be quite challenging. There s also a few spots behind the strip plaza but can get filled up quickly Great job overall

Really good fried chicken

Typically, we go for the garlic soy and onion Parmesan options at Korean fried chicken places because theyre usually foolproof. However, the soy garlic here didnt quite impress us enough to rave about it. Its possible our taste buds are a bit spoiled, considering were from LA, where we have access to many fantastic Korean fried chicken shops.

This place is a good Korean fried chicken spot it s quite popular! But it is quite expensive if you re bringing people with you I d say about $15-25 per person, I ve came here 3 times with my family and gotten the soy garlic chicken,regular chicken,swicy chicken and snowing chilli cheese chicken I personally don t like the soy garlic to much it s a bit to much for me and the swicy chicken is okay for me I m not used to these sweet savoury sauces but if you re someone who loves sweet and savoury I d definitely come here! The curly fries and mozzarella cheese sticks are good a bit small in portions but that s okay and then yes burger is also delicious my favourite actually! The service here is great the staff are always patient and kind they don t rush you or anything of the sort and help you out if you can t decide. The wait time isn t to bad either considering they make it fresh I wait an average about 15-25 minutes over all I love the service and if you got some friends you wanna go get fried chicken with i d come here! There s other shops beside it so there s always something for someone! 9/10

Absolutely delicious chicken! The snowing chilli is the most perf spice on chicken, the boneless chicken is juicy and perfectly cooked, the curly fries are fantastic. The atmosphere is super cool and casual, the booths have tiny yellow roofs over them which is so cute. Definitely check this place out!

Great food at a reasonable price. The chicken was very well cooked and the sauces has a great taste to it.

The restaurant is tiny and is pretty much just a narrow corridor with seatings on either side. Definitely works as a takeout spot if you dont live too far. The menu is a bit confusing IMHO. There are steps listed but they arent laid out in a sensible manner. Easier to just talk to the person at the cash register. The wait time for the chicken takes quite a while as they prepare it fresh. What you get if youre patient is an amazingly crispy, not super oily, hot off the fryer fried chicken experience. Definitely worth the wait.

We arrived for late lunch, eager to try one of the newest Korean Fried Chicken joints in North York. The restaurant is small, with a few tables only. I did my research already, so I quickly ordered two flavours (snowing cheese and soy garlic). I also ordered snowing cheese powder with my french fries, as it comes highly recommended. The soy garlic KFC is moist and flavourful. The snowing cheese KFC is the real winner IMHO. The cheese powder compliments the chicken, the fries, and probably every food type available in your pantry at home (seriously, bring this stuff home with you!). The restaurant also offers chicken lunch box, which would be more economical for a quick lunch. It comes with three drumsticks, which you can customize with any flavours (cheese!). During our visit, my order wasnt recorded well, which caused discrepancies between my receipt and the contents of my tray (which I had to double-check multiple times with the cashier). The server was quick to rectify (too quickly I noticed, as they gave in to my demands before I even finished explaining myself). But this incident did not discount the fact that they have great food and should be in the list for anyone craving for KFC.

Excellent place...need to try! Halal...yes halal boneless chicken!! Flavours tried were swicy (great for kids) and hot bling...really spicy...but cant stop eating!

Chicken is really fresh and worth the wait. However, I d recommend not ordering the snowing cheese flavour d chicken. Got tired real fast we all thought after one piece. Stick with the Classics and save your money by not ordering fries or the onion rings. Fries are flavourless and unsalted and the rings come in a tiny box with about 4-5 inside.

My go to place whenever I m craving Korean fried chicken. The first time I tried it was takeout and it turned out to be delicious, so I had to try it in person. They have a variety of flavours to choose from which include the snowing chilli, which was personally one of my favourites! I have nothing bad to say about this place. Everything was very good, including the sides as well. The chicken was crispy and very flavourful. If you re ever in the area, please check it out, you cannot go wrong with this place.
