I got the curry chicken (the Monday special) There was maybe a total of 6-7 small pieces of chicken The rest was filler (carrots, potatoes, etc.) Never coming back For $14, Im better off going elsewhere

This is food court Korean food. As long as youre not expecting to be wowed then Id say you wont be disappointed. Yes its made by Korean people and that makes it authentic but it will not be the best Korean food youve ever had. Anyone who says otherwise should not be critiquing food. Its not a diss. It did hit the spot when I was craving bulgogi but it came with too much rice, soggy tempura and weak kimchi. Would I go back? Probably!

Fantastic takeout spot run by a lovely Korean lady. The food is delicious and the service is great. Its certainly a neighbourhood staple for a quick and delicious lunch. The Monday special chicken curry is to die for.

Their working hour is stupid which makes it impossible to get food from there. They are not even open until 5:30 and work as long as they feel like. It seems they are not very serious about their business.

Its a place that sells friendly, reasonably priced food. The only thing thats disappointing is that its cash only. If I could pay by card, Id visit every day.

I ordered the bulgogi meal. It was close to a pound of food. Very filling and very delicious. The value was just right. The staff were very friendly.

Ive lived around the area for so long and never stopped at this hidden gem, though Ive always seen it I never took the chance and tried it until the other day when I got a Bento box. Let me just say that I will be going back anytime in craving Korean food!

I think this is one of the best take-out Korean staple you ever find in downtown toronto. Food tastes great and prices are way affordable than the ones found in downtown core. Owner is very cordial & conversant. They have daily specials to you liking. Bonus plus for this one is that its just outside Sherbourne TTC station, you can just hop out and hop in the subway in a few minutes, very convenient for those people who have no time to make dinner.

I got the Chicken Curry and Spicy Pork. I like the spicy Pork very much Korean flavor.

Wow!! I ve always wanted to try this place and finally was able to today. I went with the veggie bibimbap as it was the daily special and added beef bulgogi. The flavour is out of this world! Rice, veggies, beef, japchae, a spring roll, a dumpling, a fried egg all came in my order. Serious bang for your buck and the lady who served me was so kind and quick. 100% will return.

My first time here getting take out and to be quite honest this place is probably one of the tastiest Korean places I ve tried. I got the bulgogi meal that was packed with tons of food. The shop is ran by a kind and sweet lady that clearly puts all her love in her cooking! Will definitely come down here to have this place again!

Great food and affordable price

The food is OK. A couple years ago, the prices were great, but theyve increased 100% since then. Even in the last 3 months, theyve increased 20%. With that, the value isnt really there anymore.

Nice takeout Sandwiches

This is a the definition of a hidden gem. Ive been eating here since I first started working in the area around summer of 2018. The quality, quantity, and availability has been consistent and above & beyond fair through the years. The spot offers a no-frills, home style cooking thats comfy, fresh, and nutritious. Spicy pork, bulgogi, fried chicken are some favourites but over the years Ive probably tried most things theyve served without any disappointments.

Got the bulgogi special and it was very delicious!! The amount of food is good for 2 people. Spring roll and a dumpling is also included.

Edited: Today, my husband picked up the spicy pork meal along with the fried fish meal. They were massive portions! 3 super fresh, tender and crispy basa fish pieces along with, steamed rice, japchae, a fried dumpling, a spring roll, a small peice of tofu and some kimchi and a brocolli florette which was accompanied by a super flavourful 5-spice tasting sweet dipping sauce. The spicy pork meal was even larger. It weighed about 2 pounds, no word of a lie. He said the pork was slightly spicy, and it was a massive amount of pork, unlike some other Asian take-out restaurants. The spicy pork was also accompanied by all of the abovementioned side dishes. He said the pork, too, was delicious, not too salty, nor too sweet, nor too spicy, just perfectly spiced. Well be back to try more, for sure! Mrs. Park, we love your food! This is the place for great food and fast and great service! The Sundoboo soup is a spicy vegetable broth soup that is full of tofu, flavour, and just the right amount of spice. The kimchi dumplings are delicious and full of lightly spiced kimchi. My hubby likes the curry chicken but said it could be just a little more flavourful, but says the bulgogi beef meal is incredible. He said the bulgogi was tender and full of flavor. It came with rice and a spring roll. Ohhhh, I forgot to mention the japchae, its delicious! Lightly seasoned with sesame oil and just delicious. I keep coming back. BTW, cash only.

Dont hesitate getting food from this unassuming take away joint opposite Sherbourne station. Excellent authentic Korean food, value for money with generous portions. Aunty serving is always pleasant and smiling. They shut down after working hours so make sure youre early. My personal favourites are the bulgogi, beef wanton soup and the spicy pork which is a Thursday special. The food is always freshly prepared and delicious.

Yesterday and today I ordered pork cutlet and bulgogi, and the portions were generous and delicious, like home-cooked food. The lady is also kind.

I just found chunks of beef in the Thai chicken soup. I ve eaten here many times and it s always been delicious and cheap, but please beware of undisclosed ingredients, particularly in the soups.

This place is unreal! Who would have thought such a small, random place can offer such delicious food and service! The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered the Veggie Bibimbap (very popular dish) and the Korean Chicken Curry and both mouthwatering! The service, however is where its at! Mrs Mary Choi, the owner is extremely kind and customer centric. She is there daily and runs the place all on her own, which means, youre guaranteed delicious food and excellent service every time! Dont let the locations small footprint fool you. Its authentic Korean food to go!

Quaint korean food shop, with a small window on the street at Bloor and Sherbourne. The portions were huge and the daily special meals came with multiple sides. The price was great and the flavor was awesome. Went on a Wednesday and had the yum yum chicken and bulgogi!

Saw this place randomly driving by and I am so glad I made the decision to have lunch here the next day. I got the Bulgogi wrap $11.25. When I saw pictures I thought it was going to be a small snack sized wrap. I ended up massive wrap. Really worth the money and it seems potions on all dishes are big. Highly recommend will have an update for the spicy pork wrap. Downisde is cash only

I read street food and figured portions would be small so we got the bibimbap, mega chicken Katsu, yum-yum chicken, udon, chicken leg dinner, dumplings. It turned out to be a huge feast, portions are well generous here, had lots left for lunch the next day. Everything was really delicious, the lady running the place was sweet. Orders can be taken by phone. A real gem, highly recommended!

One of my favourites in the city. Mary is so nice and her food is SO delicious and inexpensive! Also, the portions are so generous. It is often enough for two meals. My favourite is the bulgogi.

I love the daily specials, especially the curry chicken on Mondays, mega tonkatsu (its really huge, I cant eat it in one sitting) on Tuesdays, and bibimbap on Fridays. And yum nyum chicken (not on specials board) on Wednesdays. And spicy pork is amazing too. The owner is so sweet and friendly every day!!

Best local Korean Food takeout. Everything sold here is genuine and tastes amazing. I love their bulgogis but you should try everything. They have a special for every day of the week and its definitely worth the money for the quantity and quality food you get. I personally always grab their special whenever I do not have time or am too lazy to cook, once per week on average.

The most friendly lady runs the window and for the price this cant be beat. So far Ive tried the Tuesday and Wednesday specials (mega donkatsu and bulgogi bowl) and was thoroughly impressed! The portions are large and the food is delicious. I cant wait to try the bibimbap and the kimchi fried rice. Edit: the bibimbap is amazing. Hands down the best thing so far! My husband and I were always looking for great Korean cuisines and we stumbled upon Seoul Food Take-Out. The place offers great food with amazing price. Mrs. Park is very nice and the place I must say is very clean. This will definitely be our place to be when we need tasty Korean food.

I came about 10 minutes before closing and there was not much left. The woman was friendly and helpful. I ordered a little bit from everything what was left there and paid cash. They only accept cash. The price was great, around 10 dollars. I got a big portion, enough to eat two times. I dont know exactly what I got but it was so delicious. Totally recommended!

It s good for a small store with minimal space to cook. The bibimbap is a decent, the spicy red sauce is spicier than one would expect compared to korean restaurants. There are some egg patties included which were a bit odd. The pork bone soup is just reheated in the microwave. Japchae is pretty good. It s the only korean food around this area

This place is a take out gem. The lady who works there is super nice and super fast at preparing the meals, and everything tastes fantastic. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. My favourite is the vegetable bimbimbap which is consistently fresh and delicious. Daily specials are a definite steal. Would highly recommend for fast, friendly take out.

Quick thumb-typed review. Passed by this place after parking. Saw the lunch specials and decided to give it a try. Its a take-out window with good, hearty food. Kind service, portions to power from the most diminutive sis to the most gargantuan man! They are there to help workers like us get through the day for value. A real community-oriented place. I am grateful they are open and hope they will continue to shine. I will not be packing lunch when I frequent this area - I will be here instead! Cute bonus: the inside of the takeaway box has the words Thank You embossed inside. Nice touch. Its an odd, but encouraging feeling to see such positive words facing you throughout your meal.

Wednesday is mega donkatsu day ($7.99) with a side of gimbap! Mega indeed! The food is delicious and the owner is extremely friendly. It usually takes about 5 - 10 minutes for this as it is freshly prepared. This little tucked away spot on Sherborne could be easily missed but they usually display a daily special on the side walk. Was passing by on sherbourne and always wondered about this place. Due to the busyness at what seems like all hours of the day. Decided to try it today and ordered the steak sandwich. Very friendly and helpful cashier lady. Sandwich came quick. $7.25 for a great sized portion lots of cheese, steak crisp fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Overall amazing place, food and experience. This is our go-to take-out Korean eatery in Toronto! The bibimbap is so fresh and tasty. It comes with delicious sauce but its not even needed because the flavour of the rice and seasonings are so nice. My husband Ivan pops by on his bike on a regular basis for lunch. Seoul Food Takeaway has amazing food, amazing service like a visit to Korean in the heart of Toronto. You will always be greeted with a smile when you visit this place near Sherbourne subway. My favorite is the Kim Chi soup that is spicy, vegetables and rice. I also recommend the bibimbap (a rice dish with many vegetables like a little gift box of flavours and colours); special on Fridays too from the mouth watering sandwich board offering daily specials)! They have an amazing variety of muffins, bananas, wraps and of course Korean food; always fresh and a delight on the palate when you are on the go, or simply picking up a quick lunch. The experience will surely touch your soul .

Huge portions, tastes korean food to go (which is rare). Rice is a bit of a downer as it was overcooked and dried but thats just me being picky. This is definitely going to be a new spot I hit when I need good food fast near home. A must try!
