Té specializes in modern interpretations of traditional Korean cuisine. The menu incorporates authentic Korean home-cooking with North American comfort food staples for both dinner and brunch. An extensive offering of tea-inspired artisanal cocktails, Japanese craft beers, sake, wine and house-baked desserts complement and round out the experience.
Big disappointment, this place used to be big on social media. Not worth the hype. FOOD: • Rice cake Al Ragu: worst dish, the rice cake harden very short time after it reached the table. It taste like a beef ragu pasta but doesn't taste good. • Braised Pork Belly: dry pork, dry bread, the ingredients feel like they don't go together. • K Jun Gumbo: this one is properly the best one. It's flavorful, the bread gives an opposite texture to the dish. • Bulgogi Slider: this one lack of flavor, bulgogi doesn't taste like bulgogi. I'd not recommend. DRINKS: I could barely remember how the cocktails taste like, nothing special about it. SERVICE: standard VIBE: The place is dead empty on weekend night, the vibe is so strange in there.
Love this place, a modern fusion korean restaurant with great drinks. Both their food and beverages are sophisticated, creative, and enjoyable. A very interesting experience throughout. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely a must try and suitable for friend gathering.
Cute little spot for Asian-fusion eats. Some dishes were really good like the bulgogi sliders and others were ok. Attentive staff and the drinks were quite interesting since they were tea infused!
Tried lots of menu options. Highlights were the lettuce wraps and the deviled eggs. Sat on the back patio which was really nice. It's a quiet spot in the middle of a hectic area which was nice. Service was very slow and inattentive. Our second round of drinks took almost 40 min to come out and some of our food took over an hour. Could have just been an off night. The food was worth a return visit.
I would give 4.5 if i could!!! It was really really good, good service and the waitress was super nice with her suggestions. I would reconmend the lettuce wrap and the kimchi ravioli (definitely a special food… worth the try). The makgeoli was also delicious so definitely get some drinks while you are here!!
Service was excellent, atmosphere was also very nice. The food was good, especially the chickpea pancake (basically falafel). However, we found the food overpriced for how simple it was and for the portion size. Personally wouldn't recommend the fried ravioli but I don't like fried ravioli generally. The mushroom lettuce wraps were fresh and tasty but not filling.
Very nice and cozy restaurant with great food to taste and share. Drinks are amazing as well. Tried different things from the menu and they were all delicious. The Staff is very helpful and friendly. Worth a try. Better to make a reservation, gets busy quickly at night.
Food and service was amazing! I went for dinner and ordered plenty of appetizers and entrees. The menu has a wide variety of selections to choose from so it was tempting to try everything. The waitress was super kind throughout the dinner and frequently checked in on us. I’m definitely coming back to Té when I’ll be back around Ossington! Love supporting local restaurants in the city 🙂
Such tasty dishes. The pork belly was great as were the honey butter fries
Went for post dinner cocktails, coffee and desert and everyone was happy with what they got.
Super cute spot, amazing food, drinks, and service ! Came here for my bf and I s anniversary will absolutely come again.
Me and my boyfriend went here for our anniversary! What a wonderful place. Hostess was very kind and attentive, and the food was amazing! The vibe was cozy, and intimate. A great place for a date and a bite to eat :)
TLDR - Bad food, wouldnt recommend. Came here for New Years Eve and it was below average food. Unfortunately it seemed like a place that prioritised aesthetics over food & flavour. For the price, I doubt I would ever return. Ive always thought its hard to go wrong with Korean food but the food was incredibly bland and flavourless. We got the shiitake mushroom lettuce wraps, the fried chicken, crispy eggplant & anchovy dish, and toasted kimchi ravioli. The fried chicken was entirely dry, and any dipping sauce comes with an extra charge. The lettuce wraps were good. The ravioli tasted like fried batter with wasabi, and there was no kimchi flavour at all. It was quite disappointing since it was NYE, but more so because I was really expecting a lot in terms of food & flavour. My feedback to the restaurant would be to prioritise the actual quality of the food. However, the server we had was lovely and very helpful. The dipping sauce that we ordered with the chicken was also very delicious, and the server took it off our bill.
Love their back patio! Great place to get together with friends, and the food and drinks are both delicious!
Truly an amazing experience! From service to food to drinks it was nothing less than extraordinary. Té has an amazing menu and you will want to order one of everything, even for dessert. They also provide a menu that highlights diet restrictions eg. Vegan, allergies etc. We will definitely be back to try more!
Cocktails were great. Good was great, prices very reasonable. Servers very kind. Will definitely be back!
Excellent service, but overpriced for the quantity they serve and the cocktails are not for everyone (tea based, I like them though).
First time here and enjoyed it here. My friend and I shared the Veggie dumplings, the bulgogi lettuce wraps and the pork cutlet. I would definitely go back for the last two items or to try different things, as the dumplings were nothing special. Loved the music playing (old school hip hop) and the decor is really nice inside.
Recommend the bi bim bap and the lettuce wrap
foods meh
Always love this place
Such a cute restaurant! The decor and atmosphere of the place were very warm and inviting. It had a lot of plants on display, which I love. The vibe had a casual-cool sense to it, with jazz playing in the background while Sailor Moon was playing on the tv screens (which was awesome)! Its a tapas-style restaurant, with a lot of choices on the menu. My friends and I shared the bulgogi sliders, fried ravioli, and dumplings between the three of us and it was enough. The drinks were tasty as well. I recommend this spot for a cute date or just a hangout.
Great service, and Mango black té was exceptional but nothing tasted Korean at this restaurant. I was expecting Korean fusion but the Korean sauces didn t taste authentic. Fried chicken had good batter but the flavour was a bit weak.
The food was amazing and the tea inspired drink list is long. Everything we tried was super tasty! The vibe and the service was also really amazing.
Drinks were super fun and delicious ! Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Couldnt have asked for a better experience, thank you!
Cocktails were yum but food was only so-so. Great service though so would probably come back for drinks and a snack.
Some really great dishes (e.g., ravioli and dumplings) and some very average dishes (e.g., cauliflower and meatballs).
My favourite place on Ossington. Great food and very friendly service. Meal style is shareables, perfect for going out with a group of friends.
Some plates were good, others needed work. Would try more though
Great food and service
Good place to check out. The food was hit or miss - some good dishes, and some meh dishes.
Food and drink were both flavourless. I would never go back to this place - overpriced as well
Food, service, drinks, all fantastic. Cute backyard patio. Tried about half the menu between two and would go back for the other half.
The service was extremely slow. I have worked in the service and hospitality industry for many years and one of the absolute worst I have experienced The food was good and patio nice, missing some music but extremely slow we had to ask our server several times for updates on our food. Food
I wasn t very sure what to expect from this spot but I was very pleasantly surprised! Though a bit heavy, the food was very good and their cocktails were unique. Very well priced as well. I recommend the back patio if you can.
Excellent fried chicken Great patio in the back Fun dishes Food : 5/5
Amazing, our server was very thorough with explaining his favourite dish and the culture of the restaurant. Kept on ordering via recommendations and I believe this to be one of the better hidden gems on Ossington Street. Service is very Organic as your server is also your own bartender and you can see they love their job based on their own excitement about the dishes. Cannot wait to be back for that delicious braised pork and ravioli! Thank You Té for the wonderful experience.
Delicious food with a large variety of options and great service!
I really Love the cozy atmosphere of this place. Prices are fair, food tastes phenomenal, and the service is unmatched. Our server had many tables, but made sure everybody was taken care of. Can t wait to visit again Food
Terrible food.
Really wanted to find something redeeming about our meal. Korean pancake was soggy/mushy, drinks were not good, the rest of the food was deep fried/OK but nothing special. Better korean food can be found at cheaper, less modern korean restaurants. Staff were great!
Delicious Korean food, with good vegan options. Staff super friendly, with lovely cocktails!
I arrived at 9pm and the chairs were up and front door closed. The server looked at me and I signed closed(?) with my hands as your website says close 10pm . She turned back and left . I guess you close at 9pm Food
Phenomenal spot with elevated Korean Fusion dishes. Perfect for sharing, lots of unique items to keep every visit interesting. The cocktails are also very cool with lots of them being Té (tea) based. Vegetarian options: Lots of vege options that anyone would enjoy.
The bulgogi sliders, popcorn shrimp, Korean lettuce wraps were very tasty! The dumplings and cheese cake was also incredible I would recommend this place if you want to explore new and unique flavours. Thanks for wonderful service and ambience! Very timely service!
The menu is decently priced and food is just amazing. Loved the curated tea inspired cocktails. Would surely come back again
The best cocktails and Korean fusion food! Honeydew tea cocktail was amazing. Recommend getting multiple small plates to share family style. Servers were so lovely, they had us nicely spaced out under the new restrictions. THE BEST, will be here again and again.
This place gave that It s Rain Men - Klaas Remix vibes. The brunch was hard core, increased your appetite for more from their menu. The Korean touch made the dishes just so much better but they have to offer soju even though I like how they ve also implemented Japanese sakes as well. Just, delicious!
The service was good, but food was not up to par.. I was really excited to eat here because of the other reviews, but overall the flavor, creativity with food and even presentation fell very flat.
Ruined my valentines day date.
Decent food but small portion, nice vibe and atmosphere. I am giving 2 stars because they charge the ridiculous $3 per person cake fee . It was a friend s birthday, so we asked them to help store the birthday cake in the fridge until we finish the dinner. In the end we spent extra $18 (6 persons x $3) just for this favor. I don t know if this is a common practice nowadays, but this is definitely keeping me away from having special occasions at this restaurant.
The shareables were fantastic and the portion sizes were decent as well. We got a PIZZA TTEOKBOKK, Bulgogi Cheesesteak and kimchi falafel. That was more than enough for the two of us and very tasty! I also got the spicy chai cocktail which was really good. The server was nice and the ambiance was great as well. Definitely recommend!
Had a great time at Te, it was a really fun vibe with tasty food. Our server Jane was super knowledgeable and made great recommendations!
Trendy and relaxed setting offering Korean-fusion dishes and interesting cocktails. Staff was very friendly and the food and cocktails were delicious! The menu is akin to a korean/european/north american/japanese fusion with a lot of menu items Ive never seen before like deep fried kimchi ravioli. Cocktails were also tasty and well worth the price, very unique offerings like milk tea cocktails with Boba. Unfortunately they had some flooding issues in the kitchen the night we went so we didnt get to try all the menu items we ordered, but well definitely be back! Perfect spot for a date, dinner with friends, or just to try something new!
Amazing food and atmosphere! We had the lobster and haddock cakes, fried chicken, and bulgogi mac and cheese. Everything was delicious, fresh, and perfectly portioned. Highly recommend!
Amazing every time!! The drinks and food are delicious! Must try if you re in Toronto
My friends and I had a great time here last night. Nice table at the front. Amazing service. Everything we tried on the menu was outstanding. Loved their bubble tea Mocktail! 10/10
The food was decent, but we had to wait almost a full hour for our order. We were there with two young children for brunch, and nobody warned us that it would be such a long wait, without so much as some bread or anything to keep us busy while we wait. If they cant put out the dishes quickly enough, maybe they should try to cram fewer tables into the small space. It was cramped even if you ignore COVID...
Went here for dinner with a friend and we shared a few things from menu. Good food and nice environment.
Love the food and cocktails!! Our go to place for fried chicken. The Korean twist to food and cocktails is spectacular!
Plates are not really aesthetically pleasing (could be better) and the food tastes mediocre. Had higher expectations because this neighbourhood is full of popular and trendy brunch places
Cute little spot with simple Korean / western fusion comfort food. Fair pricing and good flavours with great cocktails, but nothing extraordinary.
Cool spot for food and drink. Most of the dishes on the menu are small plates meant to be shared. Both the food and drink menus have interesting creations that are really tasty!
Favorite restaurant in the city! Delicious food with everything made in house (including awesome cheesecakes for dessert). This is the place I bring everyone looking for a good dinner in the city - everyone Ive brought has LOVED this spot!
Came in for brunch and had a great experience! Ordered the fried chicken & egg waffle which was delicious, flavourful and perfectly portioned! Would recommend making reservations since it is a smaller space & popular for brunch!
Tried about 9 different items on the menu. The PIZZA TTEOK BOK KI, KOREAN CAULIFLOWER, & TOASTED KIMCHI RAVIOLI were the highlights. Mango Te cocktail was superb.
Do not ask to combine bills - we spent over 20 minutes waiting for them to combine two bills. We also waited 20 minutes to have the waiter ask for the bill. They forgot one of our orders - so our 7:30 reservation left at 9:45. Otherwise food was delicious and atmosphere was great.
I love the food here! So delicious and fun to share. The service was also good. The cocktails were ok, but not my favorite. This is a great spot, would recommend.
Very good chicken but pricey for the quantity you get especially for the octopus dish...only 1 piece on top of spinach .... Cocktails was nice
Great food
Waited over 30 minutes for someone to take our order, waited over an hour for our food. The food unfortunately did not make up for the wait.
This place is as good as the reviews state it is. Good food, a bit slow service but good cocktails and well priced. Will be back again. Welcome addition to the Neighbourhood
Cute patio, slow service, underwhelming drinks but delicious food. We only tried one dish (bulgogi sliders) but I would go back to try more items.
Food and drinks here were great. The toasted kimchi ravioli with the honeyed wasabi pesto was my favourite. The lettuce wraps with the pork belly was also delicious. Definitely recommend it! The bulgogi sliders were good too, as well as the pancakes. The drinks here are the delicious too!
Delicious food, drinks and service. Great back patio as well. We will be back!
This place has the best fried chicken i have ever had! Service is great and all the other food is great as well! If you like edamame you have to try their garlic edamame! Every recipe is very well thought of and I just love every drink I have tried so far :) Definitely worth going all the distance always to eat there! Oh and it not as pricy as all Toronto restaurants!! Pretty affordable!
Starting with the rustic look of their kimchi devilled eggs ($7 for 3). The yolks are mixed with sesame oil and kimchi paste, instead of creamy mayonnaise, creating a stiffer paste to pipe back into the egg white. I could certainly taste the nutty oil that always makes my taste buds sing, but would have liked more of the gochujong as there wasn t much heat to the egg. In fact, aside from the sesame oil these tasted like any other deviled egg. Swapping the bacon bits for chopped kimchi may give it that element it s missing and make the dish vegetarian-friendly to boot. Similarly, the kimchi was lost within the ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan mixture in the toasted kimchi ravioli ($13). Chances are any ingredient wouldn t be able to hold up against the swiggle of honey wasabi pesto piped on top of the crispy ravioli as the wasabi was so pungent and overpowering. Some reviewers rave about this dish, but I found the panko crust made it too dry and the pasta was overly chewy. It s not one I d order again. The bulgogi sliders ($15) were good with a pile of thinly sliced sweet-soy marinated sirloin topped adorned with a perfectly cooked quail egg, which is runny so makes for a messy first bite. The sliders would be even better if there wasn t wasabi in the mayo (Té s chef certainly loves wasabi) and the buns were warm and toasted. If you really want to try the bulgogi I d opt for one of the main dishes instead. Té s bi bim bap ($17) follows a traditional recipe where the beef is accompanied by cold sesame-marinated vegetables and a fried egg. They swap out the white rice for nuttier purple rice instead and Té s sweet chili sauce is thicker and spicier than other ones I ve tried. Sadly, the bi bim bap wasn t presented in the typical hot stone bowl. That vessel is so important as it creates the crust on the bottom of the rice and the heat warms up the cold garnishes and sauce so that once everything is mixed together the flavours really melt and meld together. There s plenty of bulgogi on top of their mac and cheese ($18) and the pasta was excellent as well. I enjoyed the creamy gooey cheese sauce and the parmesan panko crisp on top adds a lovely textured crunch for those who want an extra pop of flavour. This is a really long review visit Gastroworld for the rest.
Everything here was delicious (octopus was rubbery) but overall great price, great taste.
Our friends enjoyed the experience here. The food was fresh and tasty. It wasn t different than other Korean restaurants that I ve been to, however. The table s favourite dish was the edamame appetizer, which had a tangy-sweet sauce and delicious toppings. The drinks were also delicious and unique. The service was great but the kitchen was under-staffed so unfortunately, it took a long time to get our food. Overall, good experience and would go back again.
The wonderful server we had stated the restaurant is notable for the toasted ravioli, I agree they were good but the curry katsu was tops in my books. All dishes are meant for sharing. In addition to the aforementioned items we also had the Korean pancake thingy and the slider thingy. Apologies with the lack of specifics; it was a few ago the I dined here. As mentioned the wait staff were great. Would definitely return.
Enjoyed the small plates and green tea infused cocktails. Service was exceptional as well.
Waited half an hour for someone to take our order after being seated and another half an hour for food to arrive. The restaurant wasnt crowded during our reservation, with only less than half the capacity. The food was underwhelming, the pizza ttoetbokki, toasted kimchi ravioli, and kimchi lobster, even for a modern twist to the Korean cuisine.
I came here as a recommendation from my friend and food reviewer. However, I had little disappointed about customer service of the restaurant. I had to wait for half an hour to order the food even the restaurant wasnt busy ( attached pictures). The food wasnt great to make up the wait.
Greta patio. Delicious food. Helpful staff. Order the pizza tteokbokki and bi bim bap
Very good food and service! Good selection of cocktails as well. I would avoid coming with a large group. Even when sharing multiple items the portions are on the smaller side and the kitchen is lightly staffed. Better suited for a group of 2-4 people.
One of my fav spots in Toronto. Order the Mac and Cheese bulgogi and you won t regret it! Worth every penny - drinks are cheap and service is great
Great variety, exceptional service, amazing ambience. We were genuinely impressed with how attentive and friendly the staff were. The food, though pricey, offers a unique take on some classic Korean cuisine. The Pizza Tteokboki is must-try! Great spot for a date, or even to catch up with old friends. Give it a go! Parking: Typical downtown parking, so best to find a garage closeby, especially if you care about your car
From start to finish, this dining experience was incredible!! Our waiter was outstanding and gave us some fantastic recommendations. Literally everything we tried was a hit, and it was made even better by how affordable it was. We will 100% be back soon. Thank you :)
food was not good and i wouldn t go back again
Great food, great service. Cute little spot for Korean small plates. All the cocktails are yummy. The lobster cakes, lettuce wraps, kimchi ravioli, and fried chicken are all a must!
This is one of my favourite restaurants it s so good! All the dishes on the menu sounds amazing and I always have trouble choosing
Kimchi everything! If you love kimchi, youll love this place. We tried the kimchi hummus, kimchi ravioli, pizza tteokbokki and shiitake mushroom lettuce wraps. My favorite was the ravioli. The honeydew green tea cocktail was delicious as well, and I like their Japanese imported beer selection. They have a seperate menus too for dietary restrictions, just ask your server!
A wonderful little Korean fusion restaurant with interesting options. They are rather popular so I would recommend making a reservation. Their dishes are tapa style and range from cold dishes to fried to mains. I enjoyed their fried chicken (very hot and juicy) and Kimchi falafel on hummus/pita. The pizza tteokbokki was less pizza like and smaller than I wouldve guessed but still tasty. Given the style it is a little more pricey to get full but worth trying out!
Terrible customer service. Me and 2 friends were told the wait was gonna be 15 minutes, the white girl server even took my friend s number. We ended up waiting for almost 40 minutes (we didn t even complain since it was a saturday night and we understood things could ve gotten busy). Somehow a group of 3 came way after us got a table right when they walked in so we went back in to ask the girl why. The responses we got were: Sorry i didn t see you guys outside (we were standing outside the whole time); Sorry there s nothing I could do. Meaning we waited for nothing when she could ve just remembered to call us back or at least checked if we were outside.
No no no. First, the portions were like mini appetizers meant for 1.5 people. Second, the food isn t really Korean. It s like the colonized version of Korean food. Third, the food took way too long to come to the table. I think we waited 35 min for the first meal, and every meal in between took 10 min. They don t give food all at once, leaving you starving after having a bite sized piece of whatever they call food. Fourth, it looks like good pricing but that s only because the portions are small. Don t be fooled - every person will be minimum $50 if you want to feel satisfied. The service was good though. Server was attentive and gave great suggestions.
Delicious food, amazing friendly and helpful staff.
Great cocktail selection
Excellent service, tasty food, reasonable prices. Gluten free options limited as many ingredients are marinated in soy sauce and can t be adapted - just an FYI, not a criticism
This was a great place with some really unique food. We especially loved the hummus and Kimchi Chickpea Pancakes.
Absolutely impeccable on every level. Thank you T/é for always exceeding my expectations Food
SQUID JEON was delicious. Dipping sauce - couldnt really get the tones acidity of the vinegar. DARK-SPICED FRIED CHICKEN - tasty fried chicken. 5-spice twist is very nice. More of a Chinese twist rather than Korean. KOREAN LETTUCE WRAPS - w/ bulgogi. Tasty. Could have had more zing. There was a tiny sliver of some kind of chili paste... KOREAN CAULIFLOWER was tasty but the side sauce was uninspired and did not resemble anything that could be described as Korean hot & honey missed an opportunity to make it zing. CRISPY EGGPLANT & ANCHOVY - tasty but hardly worth it for two slices of eggplant. (yeah, they were 1/2 thick, but one was 4 in diameter and the other slice was tiny by comparison. Hard to share that) PORK KATSU & POTATO - Not bad but, Ive had better katsu for less. Uninspired potato salad. (wheres the Korean connection?) The Bloody Assam Caesar - bloody good Caesar. Overall a weak Korean connection and uneven execution. Chef had an opportunity to make a few dishes zing with gochujang sauce but chose sriracha and/or a sweet chili.
Delicious sharable dishes and large cocktail menu!
Very unique place. Great cocktails and the Korean fare here is top class!
Drink options were fantastic! The menu was so well thought out. Our party had lots of fun tasting different drinks. We had two apps - braised pork was a favourite. Flavourful!
The vibe in this restaurant is great. Low lights and chill atmosphere, diverse cocktail menu, knowledgeable staff. While the food here is good, it s nothing that knocked my socks off! I found the squid pancake to be extremely light on the seafood, and a cocktail I ordered (that was supposed to have Prosecco in it) was completely flat - which I thought was weird. Overall still had a good time, but don t know if I d be back!
Every dish we ordered was great including their cocktails. Perfect twist to korean fusion food. Only negative is the portion size which was small.
Awesome food, experience, and service! Can t wait to come back.
The food and service were excellent. I especially enjoyed the ravioli and the cocktails were impressive. My only criticism would be the portions were a little underwhelming.
Great food, nice little patio. Good Covid-19 protection measures. Thanks <3
Really enjoyed our time at Té on their super cute patio! The waitress was very nice and the food and drinks were also super tasty with a unique and modern twist to Korean cuisine! Thank you!!
Great food!! Loved the kimchi and pork belly eggs Benedict, just wished there was more hollandaise sauce on it
Foods are nice quiet cozy patio
Lovely back patio and waitress was so friendly!
Good food and great staff
Great place featuring shareable plates. The service was amazing, the cocktails were very tasty! Highly recommend their back patio, very cozy
We ordered the japchae, lettuce wraps, cauliflower and tteokbokki pizza. The japchae is pretty standard, not particularly memorable. Lettuce wraps were really delicious, perfect mouthful! Cauliflower has a great sauce, very savoury. The pizza sauce is quite spicy, and tteokbokki is nice and chewy.
Love love love this place! First time I went was just to get a few drinks--I highly recommend their Elderflower Blueberry Fizz if you like your drinks on the sweeter side. Their sake sangria is also great and perfect for summer. Went for my second time last night and finally got to try out the food; we had the pizza tteokbokki and their braised beef short ribs. Pizza Tteokbokki was amazing, portions were a bit smaller but they are appetizers after all. The braised beef short ribs were served with rice, kimchi slaw, and pickled cucumbers and were to die for. Service was excellent both times I went--racking my brain right now trying to remember one of our waitresses but the most recent waitress who helped us out (Candace) was super sweet and attentive. Definitely one of my favourite spots in Ossington!
The food we ordered tasted really good and the ambiance is calm and relaxing. Plus, the server was really nice and accommodating. We had garlic edamame (not included in the picture), korean lettuce wraps -bulgogi, japchae, japanese katsu eggplant, and the curry katsu.
Overall great experience! The food was so good I wanted to try everything on the menu! Patio setup is spacious and pretty far from the sidewalk, so while Ossington is super busy I didnt feel like the foot traffic interfered at all with our meal or was a health concern at all. Will definitely be coming back.
Ate at Té in August 2021 with a small group on the back patio. We shared several appetizers which was a great way of exploring the menu together. The back patio is an inviting retreat and the food was great, well worth a few more visits :-)
Té has a great combination of Korean and Korean-fusion foods, which makes it easier to introduce people to the cuisine. We had the deviled eggs, pork belly lettuce wraps, fried chicken, and bi bim bap for food, and several of their cocktails. They were all delicious! The service could have been faster, but I believe they make a note of this on their menu.
Came here for brunch and the service was pretty good. We ordered the lobster and haddock benny which was good but the price was steep for fish cakes that looked like they were from H-mart. The hashbrowns werent crispy either. Also ordered the kimchi and pork belly benny. The pork belly was cut so thin and was so tough. We ordered some drinks as well, most of them were good but do not order anything with the pearls in them. The pearls clump up at the bottom and become one giant gooey mass.
Had a fantastic brunch here. Love the banana turnovers. Reminds me of the banana fritters my mom made when I was a kid. The brisket poutine was fantastic. Thanks for a great brunch!
Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Very unique dishes done in a modern way.
Possibly some of the most disappointing brunch I have ever had in my life. The vegan option is barely half an avocado with store bought toast, greens out of the box and some fries. Truly sad. If you re going to propose a vegan option, do it well or do not do it at all. My friend had the waffle which was good as a side and his kimchi pork Benny was underwhelming. Service was friendly but truly a lacklustre brunch.
Patio tables upfront and in the back. Food was good! Ordered fried chicken and waffles, was not expected bubble waffles- nice treat, plate was just missing some greens. Mimosas are cheap but theyre about a gulp full at $6. Otherwise, would go again and try more of the menu!
They served me an uncooked hamburger and wouldnt do anything about it. Terrible customer service, and an obviously incompetent kitchen, that couldnt even make a hamburger
Very poor service. Came in at 7 pm, had to go to the bartender at 7:30 to ask for someone to come take our order. Bartender was nice enough to take our order but the server was nowhere to be seen. The server didnt stop at our table once. The food took 40 mins to come once we ordered it. Only reason not giving 1 star as the bartender was nice enough. The rest of restaurant experience was horrible. Only go if you willing to wait 1hr or more to get your food.
I had a beautiful experience with my sister for her birthday. Amazing, friendly service in a clean and quite cute atmosphere. The food was paced out well, very wholesome and tasty. The drink menu was also lovely, hard to choose. Will be back again to explore more of the menu.
I havent tried much Korean food before but this felt like comfort food. Easy to share as well. The vegetable dumplings were amazing. Also the decor is beautiful - so clean and aesthetically pleasing. The only thing to note is that the washrooms are down a narrow flight of stairs and are quite tight. So that is an accessibility issue.
The food was not bad enough to send back, but there was nothing good about it either. We had the shiitake lettuce wraps, mac and cheese bulgogi and fish and chips. Everything was mediocre and feels like the chef has given up. Ossington has so many great restaurants Im shocked this place has a high rating. If you want good Korean food at half the price do yourself a favour and go to Little Korea.
Excellent brunch and great atmosphere.
Very disappointed. Two stars because the ambience is nice. We came in Sunday morning for brunch and it was surprisingly empty. Not a great sign. Food took almost 45 minutes to come. It was not worth the wait. I ordered the lobster haddock Benedict and it was quite pathetic. Just some sliced potatoes for hash browns without seasoning. A lazily made poached egg using a silicon mold. Definitely way overpriced 23$ (the lobster was not appreciable at all). Friend got the egg waffle - no seasoning and order was made wrong. Avocado wasnt even sliced properly. I would not come here again and I would recommend against coming to all my friends. You could make better food at home easily.
Good service, however very slow food service. Drinks came out quickly but we waited over 30 mins just for our brunch to come out. Food was tasty.
Kimchi falafel was delicious.
Went there for lunch with a group of 6. Everything was fantastic, from the food, coffee and service. I had the Kimchi Lobster & Cod eggs Benedict.
Very nice place is downtown for you to sit and have some delicious food or some drinks at the bar. Was our first time visiting here and it was absolutely magnificent. Tried the sliders, mac and cheese, a beer, and a glass of wine. Everything was terrific and I would visit again without hesitation. Had a really friendly waiter ad well she was great.
Service was great but food was so so, it was either too salty or super bland.
Honestly 10/10. I ve never been to a place that I had nothing bad to say about ANY dish I tried. I love Korean food and the vibe, service, and dishes were perfect. I wanted to try a lot of things as I love really far away and thought I wouldn t be going back (I live in Oshawa lol) but boy I was wrong. I will be bringing my family here next time. Thank you for the great service too! Our waitress was so nice and she was new and knowledgeable.
Best quality/price ratio on Ossington. Delicious cocktails and great food
Love the menu of cocktails here, with bubble tea-inspired drinks. Very attention service. I dont know why this place isnt more popular but thats better for me.
Came here with my family of 5 (3 children/teenagers). We loved the food and the balance of price point and general portions. Quality was very good. Our favourites were the Japanese Katsu, braised pork crostini and the Taiwanese chicken. The batter were thin and crispy for the Katsu and chicken and the meat was perfectly moist and tender. The sliders and the deviled eggs were closed second. We were here before 5 so they also had $6 Sapporo can and $5 gekkeikan sake. The tea inspired cocktail was refreshing and made with tapioca. It wasnt busy this particular Saturday at the time we arrived. We were seated promptly and food came very fast. We would definitely come back!
After passing by the restaurant that plays black and white sailor moon episode on a loop, I finally had a chance to dine here. Its an unassuming place which was probably why I placed the restaurant in the back burner for so long. The menu is a fun fusion between Korean and Western. I got an adult bubble tea cocktail, Bulgogi slider, Kimchi ravioli, fried chicken, bulgolgi mac & cheese, and a green tea cheese cake. The food was delicious and the price was fairly standard to a nice restaurant. I definitely want to come back to try other items on the menu.
Had a pleasant dinner here last night. The service was just right and our meal was delicious!
We ate the lettuce wrap (bulgogi and pork belly kimchi), bimbimbap and the dumplings - and all was amazing. The quality of ingredients was really high. The red paste to compliment the bibimbap is homemade and supplements the dish so well. Thank you Té. We will recommend it and be back for sure!
Delicious food, friendly staff. A bit pricey.
This was my second time at Té in the last month and as you can see from the other comments below, the food and drinks selections are exceptional, not just in taste, but also in value. However, i also wanted to highlight another aspect that makes Té so great and it is the customer service. I came in with a large group and they were able to accommodate almost 15 people, even on very short notice (which i am very thankful for). Beyond that, the rest of the dining experience was also fantastic. The people there really seem like they enjoy what their job (probably in large due to great management) and that trickles down to the small details they provide while dining. Thanks again to Grace for making it happen, already cant wait to come back again
Té was good experience for modern Korean brunch staples. I got the stuffed Korean pancake, the banana stuffing was good however it was a bit raw inside. The vibe and coffee was really good
We had a couple of yummy dishes like the japchae (sweet potato noodles) but some others fell flat, like the crostini topped with some very dry beef. And the service was slow, despite it being quiet at the restaurant. It was strangely not busy despite it being peak weekend dinnertime. To be fair there are lots of very strong reviews for this place so maybe we just came on an off night .
The staff was very nice and the service was good. However, the food was not tasty in any way at all. No flavor, very bland. We ordered 4 things and all were pretty terrible. Honestly couldve gotten a better meal at McDonalds. Hate to write such a bad review but for the money we paid, its extremely disappointing. We were scared to even stay for dessert. Came here for my birthday dinner and the experience was ruined.
The staff was friendly and our meals were delicious! The drinks are fun and creative. We really want to go back to try more starters. I actually found our starters more delicious than our mains but that might be a personal preference. I got the eggplant katsu and I thought the dish was just kind of bland.
Came to this restaurant on a whim to celebrate my birthday with two friends. The food was pretty good, and the best part of our night was the amazing service from our server Nil! She was so friendly and accommodated moving us to a table which suited us better. She was very attentive and honestly our experience would not have been the same if not for her! Thanks Nil, for making my birthday celebrations so wonderful! We will be back for sure :)
*Hidden Gem Spotted* I cannot get enough of fusion food, I just think than korean cuisine mix with a little hint of canadian/american is just creating the best flavour for my palette. I really liked the outside patio, the music, the vibe, the design and the great lighting when it gets darker outside. The staff is super friendly, helpful, giving you great advice or suggestions~ The food was definitely delicious, I would suggest you grab the pizza tteokbokki ( )~ Or if youre a total fanatic of Mac&Cheese and you love Bulgogi ( ) Please dont hesitate and order the Bulgogi mac&cheese (: - Oh and the food wasnt that spicy, really quite on the mild, maybe there is an options to ask for spicier if you like it this way. Overall, nothing to say that is negative. The only thing would maybe be the price is a little bit high, but I can ensure you the quality is there. Cocktail was great, I had the TeMargarita, super tasty, but if you are looking for something sweet, maybe not for you. Enjoyyyyyy~ !
Food here was pretty good. We got the Toasted Kimchi Ravioli, Pizza Tteokbokki, Dark-Spiced Fried Chicken, and the Bi Bim Bap. I also got the Pom Iced Té (not pictured) which was really good. My favourites were the toasted kimchi ravioli and the dark spiced chicken. Overall, nice place! The chicken is a must try!
Kind of an unassuming restaurant that I stumbled upon, but enjoyed! Western dishes with a Korean fusion. Has Sailor Moon playing on tv :) Lovely aesthetic with a back patio and cutely decorated pexi-glass during these times. Went there for brunch and really liked the Kimchi Pork Belly Benedict. A little on the pricier side, but taste is worth it. Definitely want to come back for dinner!
The music was good. That s about it
This place is amazing!! Their Mac and Cheese brisket is insanely good!
Good food, good prices ! I had a Jasmine Gin tonic and a bi bim bap and it was delicious.
Very good service, very bland presentation, really ordinary food and much too expensive... just okay... *Disappointment
This Toronto distributor of fine food and impeccable service is worth the trip, effort and time. From well crafted drinks provided by Lady C - The Bartender/Server and extraordinarily prepared food by Chef Grace with the ambiance of the well appointed patio this was an experience to remember. And they make their own hot sauce. What?
Meh - the food and service was okay, nothing special. I didnt try the drinks but for an average about $12 - $15 per drink, its more expensive than a lot of the dishes they have on the menu.
Flavourful food with great service, what else do you need?
The food was excellent and prices were reasonable. The menu is mostly all shareables (theres a few entrees) so its a great place to try a bunch of different stuff. They have a long list of tasty tea-infused cocktails, the service was great and we sat on the backyard patio which was super cute. Would definitely recommend!
Small cute restaurant with a patio in the back. Good menu with plenty to choose from. Food is fresh and tasty. The girls that were helping us were very good and attentive.
Had an amazing evening with family. The meal was phenomenal, and our server Steven was so welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit, thank you Té.
Great place for a relax evening ! Awesome service from Sarah .
Phenomenal service, phenomenal food, and fantastic decor. We will be back. Brunch sounds fantastic! Everything we had was great. The kimchi falafel was a favourite, as well as the sliders, but the sweet potato glass noodles were a sleeper hit as well. They sounded great but were fantastic!
Excellent food, excellent service, good for groups, and friendly, knowledgeable staff
Really liked the menu options here at Te. The food was great, loved the asian fusion aspect of it and the staff was very friendly. Some items can be a little bit pricey but the taste definitely makes up for it! I really recommend the pizza tteokbokki, that was my favourite! honestly this place is one of my faves around the world. Food was amazingly great, service was even better. Chillest small vibe around.
Very good food with a modern twist and in a very good price. If you are in the area worth a stop over!
Great service. The bubble tea inspired drinks were ingenious and the pork belly dish was a great twist on a Taiwanese dish. This place does a fabulous job of taking different dishes and giving something special to work on a bar setting.
