First time eating here. Walked over and got takeout. Got the spicy and the onion sesame i think it's called.. The spicy was amazing very flavourfu, the onion one just taste like regular KFC to me I wish I got another flavor. Chicken was nice and crispy and juicy 😋
We came to The Fry as a couple and ordered the half/ half fried chicken option. We asked for the Sweet-spicy (양념 치킨) and the Galbi (갈비 치킨) flavours. While we waited for our meal, we were served sweet corn with cheese and 3 types of raddish side dishes. All the food we ate here was amazing- including the sides. However, as others have said, customer service could be better. They prioritized preparing two take out orders before making ours. One take out order was still waiting to be picked up when we were done. As we were getting out of our seats to leave the Doordash/ Ubereats guy, he came and took that second take out order. They offer 10% discount if you pay cash, so we did. The most annoying thing, though, was the music, which was blasting really loudly throughout the time we were there. There was someone inside the kitchen listening to different music (which is fine), but I think the reason why they were blasting the music where the customers were to drown out the sound from the other music.
The place is a bit small, but the food was good. Service definitely could be better, towards the end the host was pushing the card reader on us- even when the place was pretty empty lol. No split bills, they also have 10% off using cash.
Always hot chicken dish. Taste is perfect and lovely. Good thing it is halal.
I ordered two main dishes, a side, and a few drinks, including Soju, which was overpriced. Unfortunately, our order was mixed up, with incorrect items added and one item missing. Upon raising the issue, we faced initial resistance from the staff, who doubted our claim but eventually acknowledged the oversight. Despite a substantial bill of $136, our request for a complimentary Soju as compensation was denied. The food quality was average, but the overall experience was marred by disappointing service and a lack of customer care. I will not be returning.
The fried chicken is ok. Nothing special,... Considering the options in Toronto. Took almost 30 minutes for a single order of fried chicken that should have been 15 minutes. The place could also use a reno or something to be more presentable.
I went in the afternoon and I was lucky it wasn’t busy. I loved the Rose Tteokbokki. It had the sausage in it so it was perfect. The cheese corn was good but I felt like is wasn’t enough as the plate was shallow. I got their fried chicken. It had a lot of breading on it. Additionally, this place is small so only about 4 tables can fit inside.
Great Korean Style Fried Chicken! Love their Kalbi Chicken! We think everyone who loves fried chicken must must try it! It was so crispy and tasty. We also got the free fries! Thanks! So glad that we can order The Fry within our neighborhood! :)

Terrible customer service. Tried to change our to go order to dine in before it was even ready and wasn t allowed due to the packaging ??? while it was pouring out. Not to mention only one other table was occupied. Ruined the food!

Went for a dine-in lunch. Not a lot of seating but it was perfect for me and my friends. Probably some of the best Korean fried chicken I ve had in the GTA. The tteokbokki was excellent too. Wonderfully helpful and attentive staff.
Google said open, their open sign was on. Door locked. Good food, but have update the times of operations and turn off the signage if you re gonna have it smh.
Small store , but great chicken. Ever since Ive been going the chicken has always been moist I always do take-out though. Highly recommend over any other chicken places nearby.
The location itself is quite small, it only has a few tables so I would only recommend going with a small group here. Aside from that, food was delicious and service was really good.

Took 20 minutes to prepare a small order of fries when they said it would take less than 5 minutes and served people who came after me, before me. Once I asked for a refund, they told me it was ready. It s okay that food takes a long time sometimes but I wouldn t have ordered it had they told me. I was in a hurry and wouldn t have ordered had I known .
I ordered fried chicken and some fries tonight and it was magnificent. So good I got full and took the rest home. Thanks for the kind service and yummy chicken. :)
Small restaurant with few tables but the taste is still good. Suitable for take out rather than dine in.
Very disappointed about my experience here. I was there earlier this week after moving into my new place. The fry is known for being owned by Koreans and being a Korean myself I was craving the chicken I used to have. After a tiring day of moving I called in to place an order in both Korean and English Just to clarify and make sure the order was placed correctly. My friend listened to The entire order which was the yangyum chicken and the garlic soy chicken. Mind you, the total came to over $85 and I was okay with that. Then I picked it up and came home and as soon as I opened I saw a regular fried chicken without the soy garlic sauce and as well the yangYum chicken. So I called the store and the waitress says Oh I heard that you wanted just regular fried chicken and yang yum chicken. And then she continued on to say fine. Next time I can get you a free pop. I was shocked by how she reacted. I expected her to apologize first and then try to resolve the case but instead she tried to blame it on me. I even checked with my friend and he heard loud and clear of my order. Then after hanging up, I was very hungry so I went on and took a bite. The chicken was so bony and had bare minimal of meat in it. I dont know if they were having a bad day or if this is regular course of business for them but I am very disappointed about this experience .
Its cozy, portions are big and delicious, lots of variations of fried chicken, even has a 10% discount if you pay by cash.
Relatively newly open Korean fried chicken spot. Great food. Place itself is more of a takeout spot with a couple of seats. Supplies everywhere due to limited space. Its not a place to bring a group. Definitely Expensive but food is definitely worth it. Overall, 7.5/10 due to the place, just go for food. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible at all.
Everytime when I crave chicken I think of this location lol this spot is super yummy.

Takeout. Half and half . Original fried and savory with a side of onion rings. The chicken is very good. I say it beats Popeyes . Churchs some times can be better and I think the only reason that is the case is because they spice the flour. Its more American style with pepper etc . Sort of that Jr Chicken spice to it. Where as The Fry is Korean style and it has a more straightforward taste, more of the flavor comes from the sauce. It is very good chicken. Not greasy. And I love how it is made to order ( 25 min time from order ) . This is the third time ordering takeout from them and each has been very good. The counter staff are always friendly and polite. Happy to have this location in our area. The only straight out better chicken I have had was the Churchs chicken in Scarbs BUT it was more greasy than The Fry. Very close. Half and Half with a Fry or Onion ring etc is around 50$ and is a solid meal for two hungry people. Three people would very likely also work.

Such a bad experience for $85 dollars! I ordered combo 3, the chicken was fine but the rest of it was really bad, the corn was fully burned, the rose rice was not what I expected. The wait of 40 min to get it was realllly long. I m not coming back again
I placed an order from Uber with the promotion, but the restaurant cancelled the order because of delivery issues, so I wasted the promotion on this order. I had to place another one without promotion, we had 2 bags in total, but the server just gave the driver one bag and the driver had to come back to the restaurant again. When I received the food, it was completely cold. Very disappointed experience!

Having recently arrived here in Canada, the Fry is the closest thing that reminds me of Korean fried chicken back home. The chicken was good and the spicy seafood soup was nice as well. Service was fantastic and our server was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back.

Best the fry location! Been coming back since I found out about how good the daily deals are that is exclusive to this location as a broke student, saving a few bucks means lot haha . Probably have been here more than 10x lol.Their fried chicken really is unmatched when compared to other chicken places. Quality is consistent and I wouldn t want to go anywhere else when craving some korean friend chicken. Would recommend!!!!
Passed by this place too many times to not try, and damn I m glad we did! Amazing service, even on a busy Friday night, and the chicken is delicious! Moist, crispy, crunchy goodness. I also really value they use the WHOLE chicken, not just the mainstream pieces. No waste! 10/10 recommend!!! Food
I m no expert on Korean fries chicken, but. I appreciate flavour. The fried chicken in spicy sauce was the right level for most people to enjoy and both it along with the soy garlic option had delicious flavour and texture. The sides were no less tasty. Last bit not least, the packaging done by the restaurantt (delivery through Uber) needs to be appreciated. The food was packed with care and even the sides (cheese fries, for example) were packed in such a way that they wouldn t become soggy. Thanks for the delicious meal!

You want max value for your calories? K(orean)FC and rose tteokbokki. We ordered from there for two dinners straight and no regrets.
Friendly staff and food is always ready at the indicated time. The chicken holds up well even after several days. Chicken is really well made and seasoned, and rice cake dishes are delicious! Perfect amount of chew, spice, and sweetness. We ve probably ordered four times already, and will again for the summer season!
The fried chicken was juicy, tender and well-flavoured just as expected from The Fry. My personal favourite was the kalbi chicken. The cheese fries were a great addition. Since I dined-in, I was also able to enjoy the sides they provided.
Food is so tasty. They gave me free side dish when I order for takeout. The store manager she was really sweet. This place is super clean and everything nice. I recommend this place.
Love this place! Moved out of Sauga, and still havent found a place to take over our Korean fried chicken craving!
Excited to see Korean fried chicken in this area of town! We got the green onion chicken and garlic powder fries and they were all freshly made.. Super juicy and tender. The service was also very friendly and everything came out quickly. Highly recommend and will be coming back again soon!

Amazing fried chicken. Juicy and tasty! Had the original fried chicken, crispy and crunchy and paired it with fries. Service is polite and friendly. The food is made fresh so there is a wait. Bone in is about 30 mins; boneless is probably faster. If getting take out call ahead or if dine in sit back and relax. I ll try out the wings and galbi fried chicken. They also have a few Korean dishes.
I love the food they served. All type of fried chicken available here but I love the boneless fried chicken with powered chees sprinkled over. Its first time I tasted. Other diah was fried chicken with spicy sauce and it was very hot. I dont know the prices because I was a guest. I forget to take pictures sorry but I totally recommend it.
Chicken was good but the pickled radish was rotten. It was sealed but when we opened it, it smelled and tasted bad. It may be expired.
They forgot to include the radish in my takeout order of boneless chicken. It comes with a can of pop.
