The ddukboki was decent, pretty close to the ones you'd have in Korea according to my friend. Steamed egg, rice balls and cheese balls were alright. Good location but the atmosphere isn't amazing. The service was great.

Love the taste of the food! But wait was kinda long for it. At least put the side dishes out so I have something to eat upon as I wait for my order. While waiting, I also didn’t like how they had to sit the rice out for quite a long time. By the time the rice came to my table it was cold. That’s when the server thought it was a good idea to bring out the side dishes. When eating the rice with the dishes though, the dishes were warm and flavorful, which then killed the coldness of the rice. And the server even brought a portable warmer to keep the food hot. So overall, the food tastes good. But overall experience could’ve been better
I drove 2 hours for this, and it never disappoints me! Level 1 is just the perfect level of spiciness. I enjoy eating spicy food but I can't tolerate too much spiciness.
Looks that chef has been different and materials are different from original from couple months ago. Not a good sign.

All good. Frankly, Topokki was also good but it was not the same taste of Korean. Please be aware of it. Its not that spicy even though you chose the most spicy level. But it doesnt mean food was bad. Its still decent.

I have changed my rating from 2 to 5. I usually dont go back to restaurants Im disappointed but my cousin told me new owner has changed everything and tastes really good. I really loved how it tasted today. Really similar to Korean yupdduk and satisfied with portion. Will definitely come back.

I used to be a regular here and ordered here before from uber, but i had to cancel for a reason. That literally was just a 5 second change of mind. I was still charged $62. I tried to contact to owner and uber support. Felt betrayed that the owner didn t even try to reach out. Didnt got any food and got robbed my money. All those tips wasnt worth it after all.

visited there on halloween for the first time, didnt know theyd open around noon. ordered the tteokbokki, good food, loved the rice cakes, cheese and saussages and sauce, not really a fish guy with the fish cakes but I appreciated the food very much. Gave them a tip for their work, I recommend it. :D

I ate the Yeoptteok set with additional cheese. The yoptteok was very delicious, and I ordered it at level 1, and it was a good level of spiciness even for someone who cant eat spicy food. I want to come again next time. I highly recommend it!!
I felt it was very similar to the yoptteok I had eaten in Korea! At level 1 spiciness, it wasnt too spicy, but it was just the right amount of spiciness and it was very delicious! Recommended!
My favourite munch spot
I heard they opened a new store on March 1st. The taste was good and the people working there were friendly and nice. The iron plate bulgogi, gamjatang, and rice cake wrappers were also good.
This is the first time I tried Yeoptteok since I came to study abroad in Canada. Its very similar to the Korean one and its so delicious I think Ill only come here from now on.
Its the most delicious among Canadian yuptteok... Its really moderately spicy and doesnt have that unique sweet taste. The steamed egg is really delicious and the cheese balls are really crispy. The staff are really friendly I felt good the whole time I was eating it. And its very hygienic. I think there will be a lot to come in the future. I enjoyed it

The food here is quite ordinary, with nothing particularly special to offer. It took over 30 min to receive our food while there was only one other table. The server lacked personality and showed little attentiveness to the tables. If shes an employee, restaurant could benefit from retraining her. If shes the owners daughter, they should reconsider hiring non family memeber to service.

I love this tteokbokki. I dont like spicy food, so I ordered the lowest level. 0 level is not spicy and delicious for everyone! I shared it with three friends and it was a lot of food. I also had a cheese hot dog and it was really delicious with tteokbokki! The staff was friendly and I will come back again.

Ordered the tteokbokki with spice lvl 1, felt like a lvl 3 to be honest (for peeps who can t tolerate spice well) it s still very spicy. The tteokbokki sauce was so nice and thick unlike others restaurants that are watery. I loved the functional packaging (similar to actual take out in korea)! Overall nice experience!

The yupdduk set is more than enough food for 2 people! Level 1 is perfect if you can handle a little bit of spice (flavour not pain)!
I shared a tteokbokki for two people with the lowest spicy level and it was still too spicy! For reference, I am able to tolerate sweet chili heat Doritos, jamaican patties, and Thai food is just above my spicy tolerance! We were both dying Still, the sausage was yummy, the rice/seaweed balls were delicious and I loved the steamed egg (a bit watery)! The rice cakes were very chewy and paired well with the fish cake! I like the pickled vegetables! They offer cold drinks. There is A/C, a washroom, it s clean, and the place is spacious.

The rice balls were big and the sesame oil had a strong taste, so I liked it. Basically, it was a lot of food and I enjoyed it very much. If you are not good at eating spicy food, I think you will be able to enjoy level 1 just fine. Thank you. I will come again.
It s similar to Korean less spicy level 2! The rice balls are also made in a round shape so it s convenient for me it is delicious!

Went to this place after karaoke and the food here is delicious. Ordered the YupGi Tteokbokki at level 3 spice and it was a very sizable portion. The staff member was very kind and the atmosphere is calming. Would recommend coming here for some authentic Korean food!

Went on a weekend, parking was right next to the restaurant! I got the Yupdduk teokbokki and the fried set and it was very tasty. The wait time was not long at all and ambiance is nice!

I was disappointed in this place. Don t recommend the rice balls. For the price they charge I would think it would be better.
I ordered it delivered and it was really tasteless. Honestly, whats the price of $32? Its not premium tteokbokki, and even if you consider Canadian prices, its too much haha. So the portion isnt that much and it tastes like soup tteokbokki... The owner doesnt have any talent for cooking... Why dont you do something else instead and dont ruin your image?

Since it is a different country, the taste was different from Korea, but it was equally spicy and delicious. The server was friendly and the store was clean.
We got the 0.5 level for the rice cakes which was really spicy, more spicy than Shin Ramen but definitely not as spicy as Buldak noodles. Cant imagine what level 3 spicy is like. I thought there would been glass noodles in the rice cakes (we asked if there was and they said there was) but there wasn t maybe it was due to language barrier so no worries. Food was a little slow to come out (30+ minutes) but the woman who took care of was really sweet and nice. I d return, but get 0 spice level next time. Update: got the 0 spice level and it was perfect! Food came out really quickly (sunday lunch). Will be coming back more often.

I ordered the bizarre set at spiciness level 1, but it didnt just taste like capsaicin poured on it, it had a lot of the peppery flavor unique to Yeoptteok, so it was actually really delicious! The atmosphere has changed a lot, so it s even better.

Yupgi Toboki for 1 person has only 2 sausages. Taste is okay, wouldn t say it s the best Tteokbokki I ve had. Dumpling Soon Tofu lacks taste. Comes with only 1 dumpling. No veggies either. It s only Tofu, some beef, 1 dumpling and 1 egg. Wouldn t recommend for a $16 dish.
Yupdduk Finch location re-opened so I came to visit again. I really missed this spicy taste! More over, there are more various menus available!! I couldn t decide what to choose! I feel the food portion also increased compared to before Covid. Also, the servers are very friendly. I m gonna come back to try different menus!!

I ordered it via Uber, but they didnt have enough rice cakes, so only a few were original rice cakes and they filled them all with tasteless rice cakes. The oden was all dry and tasteless, so I threw away a few pieces without even eating them.
The rose tteobokki for 2-3 was really good! includes cheese and fish cakes and sausages, and it was pretty filling. Beef fried dumplings were also very good

It was my first yuptteok in Canada, and it was delicious. The taste is a little different from Korean yuptteok, but it was delicious. Especially the seaweed roll was the best.. But even level 0 is a bit spicy, so be careful for spicy people like me..

A friend from the outskirts wanted to eat Yeoptteok, so I bought it for him, but I felt sorry and scolded him. It doesnt taste like Yeoptteok at all, and even if it doesnt taste like Yeoptteok, it doesnt taste very good... The container was only half full, so I wondered what was going on, but I thought it was a good thing. The sauce was too thick, but it didnt taste very good. I think it would be better to reduce the sauce a little and add dashi. It was the worst tteokbokki I had in Toronto.

We got a the rose tteokbokki set which came with rice balls and steamed egg. The tteokbokki was delicious and creamy and just the right amount spicy. The rice balls matched perfectly well with the rose tteokbokki.
