Got charged 20$ without the chicken in the salad. Plus their pricing declaration is also predatory. Most places charge extra for additional protein. This place has put posters of protein extra, and do not include any protein in the salad, based on which they charge additional money on their declared price of large salad.
Was served by Ruth, one note about her is she makes the best grilled cheeses out there!
Ruth was great! Such a happy go lucky type character… also, she makes a killer grilled cheese sandwich.
When I first came across this restaurant, I thought it wouldn't be different from any other deli shop, but I was wrong. This is a amazing food store with a even better salad bar. The service was amazing! A worker by the name "Ruth" was amazing and took her time making my food. She also asked if I would like anything else with my food, which was very kind and also helped because I forgot to put something on my sandwich. Overall was a amazing restaurant with amazing service and even better food. Would recommend to my friends and family to visit.
Basic food. Rushed service. Had a disappointing meal, but the worst part was watching staff clean a mustard bottle with their hands. They then wiped the excess off their finger back into the container before putting the lid back on.
The food is as pedestrian as it gets, which wouldn't be a problem if they charged hole-in-the-wall prices, but they don't. It's not like subway where the bread is made fresh daily; you're paying a premium price for soup kitchen quality food. On top of that, the staff allow for a free-for-all with the customer lineup, despite the signage that's posted to prevent confusion, and despite the fact that they're never busy at all. You go to any other food spot in the underground during lunch hours and it's lineups out the door. Not so for Druxy's, lines are never more than 1 or 2 people deep, and yet they still can't figure out how queues work. I get in the correct line and go to order, but the sandwich jockey tells me that someone behind me wants to go next because he got in the wrong line. So why am I being penalized because some jagoff can't figure out the difference between a sandwich line and a salad line? Serve the person in front of you and then move on to the next, so simple, and yet they haven't figured it out at this location. Now I understand why it's never busy, most people have learned to stay away.
Ordered a corned beef on rye sandwich through the Ritual app today and picked it up. Walked back to my office, opened it, and it was the wrong sandwich (corned beef with lettuce, tomato, and a white sauce). Walked back to Druxys, told them it was the wrong sandwich. They insisted it was the right one and that those are the ingredients for a corned beef sandwich and if I didn’t want certain things on it I should have made a note in my order. I pulled up the Ritual app and the menu, clicked the corned beef on rye and read the description for that menu item: “This is the sandwich that DRUXY'S has become famous for. Our steaming hot corned beef is sliced thin & piled high with yellow mustard on light deli rye. Served with coleslaw and a dill pickle.” They continued to insist that they made it correctly and that I was in the wrong. No apologies. Very frustrating experience and wasted time in regards to their “famous corned beef sandwich”. Note: I have never ordered a corned beef on rye that came with lettuce, tomato, and a sauce other than mustard from Druxy’s or anywhere else for that matter.
Went to this restaurant many times to order their Chicken Shawarma Rice bowl, and it's always excellent. There's many healthy ingredients, including tomatoes and corn, the basmati rice is well done. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great lunch to take-out.
Best Veg Sandwich ! Fresh !
Rude staff, won t be back.
The only place I buy lunch in the PATH. Best salad bar.
I went on Wednesday and the staff was super friendly and super fast. I would recommend!
I am a vegetable vendor and I was there on path for some chore. I hardly eat outside as I am allergic but when I crossed Druxys I can t resist myself and I have to eat Corn beef sandwich . 5 stars as it smells good, taste good and looks good . Truly commendable .
WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. $19 for one small Rubeun Sandwich and 1 Gatorade. Criminal, absolutely criminal.
Firstly very rude staff complimented with worse quality food you can get.
Friendly staff and despite only going once a week, they always remember my order. Always a pleasure to visit and talk with them about nothing.
Amazing service and food!
Really friendly staff, reasonable price for lunch food downtown in the path. Quick service.
I paid close to $12 to watch them microwave the meat they put in my wrap. Taste was bland and price too high. I would recommend getting something else from the food court.
Delicious turkey sandwich! Was very impressed with the quality of ingredients and the customer service. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
