AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CARE ABOUT HYGIENE The personnel needs training. The girl was sweeping the floor prior to taking my order of a small soup, and she didnt even wash her hands before giving me the soup. I paid but declined to accept the soup. For ref.: This happened on December 12th, 2024, between 9 pm and 9:15 pm.

Delinas is a great place to get high quality homemade falafel, chicken or fish takeout. The portions and kinds of sides are great for folks who live the sides as big as mains: the lentil and sweet potato or the kale salad are great. The staff are accommodating and fast with suggestions in an often busy place. A flavourful and healthy alternative to most takeaways.

Great service, better food and the price is right!

A friend took me here today for the first time. Both of us agreed continuously throughout the meal that it was excellent! Everything was fresh, flavourful, and delicious! I had seabass with rice & lentils, kale salad, and cabbage salad. The variety of offerings was amazing, and it made for a tough decision on what to have. My friend, who is vegan, had a cabbage roll with kale salad and a beet salad. If you have never been, GO! You will be very happy you did. It is also really well priced for the quality and quantity served. I wish I lived closer as its an easy, healthy choice to make when life is busy. Maha was our host today, and she was super welcoming. Thank you so much, Maha. I will be back soon.

The Lady who owns Delina runs a very tight ship and works very hard. Always in a Great mood, she truly enjoys feeding her clients delicious and healthy food. It is a family run business that is extremely welcoming and cheerful. Great staff!! The food is very consistent and excellent. Highly recommended. Been going there for years! Very generous portions too if one is hungry. A+++

We had beef and chicken wraps, and the falafel plate. All were really delicious, well made, and filling. Service was friendly and fast!

Dont usually eat vegetarian or vegan, but I went for those options and it was insanely delicious. And theyre so kind. Great watermelon juice!

I had an amazing experience here! It was my first time but definitely I ll be back!The food was absolutely delicious, especially the falafels!!!!! The food is fresh, very tasty and the young woman working there is such a delight to interact with ( genuinely friendly customer service , not fake North American friendliness). Everything about this restaurant is immaculate. The food is fresh, healthy, and tasty. The workers were extremely generous and genuine. Whatever we asked for they went above and beyond. Not to mention how friendly and positive the environment is. They slayed ts no cap no kizzy.

Hello Mediterranean lovers, Amar is back with review to another but one and only Delina Restaurant - I do not have words for their food, you have to check it out TRUST ME - as the locals said they made food with their heart and soul. I was in this area and craving for food - do the search and scroll down to this restaurant where every single review is not less than 5 star about their food and service. I was like why not, I got served my Maha the daughter of Restaurant owner - such a nice girl, she served me the best, gives me time to enjoy the meal - first 3-4 bites of all ingredients and I loved it with my heart. Give a try - your 5 star food is waiting for you.

Delicious home cooked Arabic dishes. Try the fava beans, they are superb! I also love the eggplant. Definitely worth a visit!

We stopped in here to grab a wrap on a long cycling day. We had the beef shawarma and chicken - both were excellent. The chicken was spicier and the beef had a really full rich flavour. The beef was probably our favourite, but there s no going wrong!!

I love it when I take a chance on a new restaurant and it works out very well for me and my picky stomach. Delina did not disappoint I was happy to be greeted by Rahel and Maha (hope I spelled your names correctly) the two lovely sisters I had the pleasure of meeting today. They were friendly patient and helped me navigate their amazing menu. I opted for the sea bass with salad and rice on a whim and it was absolutely delicious and unlike fast food this healthy home cooked meal went down easy. I felt like I had my mamma or grandmother fix me a plate! I am so happy I took a chance can t wait to be back. Thanks ladies!

Honestly, I do not understand these reviews. The chicken tastes like curry not how it should be for a Mediterranean shawarma type meal. The rice was literal mush (like mashed potatoes) and had no flavour. It all made me very nauseous. So disappointed.

Amazing, fresh, thoughtfully-prepared dishes in a buffet-style counter for meal combos and wraps. Lots of plant-based options and seasoned chicken/beef/fish. It looks deceptively like a regular shwarma shop but its way better more interesting, and delicious. Vegetarian options: Delina essentially has a vegetarian/vegan buffet counter and you can build a plate/container of your own delicious combo of options.

So fresh and delicious!

A delicious, well made lunch that has a homemade feel to it, with a large variety of choices for almost every taste. Sea bass was a little small but very moist and flaky. The chick peas were creamy, slight tangy from the tomato sauce and tasted great. The cilantro salad was fresh and provided a good contrast between the ingredients, and the fava beans were a first time for me, also creamy and very filling. Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts!

I came to Delina with a friend and tried their chicken shawarma wrap. It was amazing! Everything is fresh and homemade. I came back with my bf and weve gone back like 5 days in a row.. the food is great, the prices are reasonable and its a family run business. Theyre so kind and thoughtful I am happy to spend my money here!

Delina is an amazing Ethiopian-influenced shawarma joint. But they have so much more than shawarma and falafel (although those are both really good picks here). Lots of curried pulses (chick pea, lima bean, lentil), salads (Greek-ish, roast veg, and Tabouleh) - you can pick any when you order a plate. Other proteins too (seabass, Cabbage rolls). I havent had anything here I didnt like. The ladies who work here are really friendly too; theyre always smiling! It looks like a family operation :) My favs are the Lentil soup, and the beef shawarma wrap (wild Ethiopian seasoning on the meat, very unique for shawarma), though the falafel is hard to beat (moist inside, crispy outside). Seating is limited, so get it to go and hit the beach!

Delicious food. Wonderful service. We came just before the closing and this beautiful lady received us with a big smile and answered all the questions we had. Everything is homemade. The falafel is amazing as well as the beef and chicken ( well seasoned and halal ) Do not hesitate to enter and try as much as you can.

This is a middle eastern inspired restaurant that serves a variety of delicious health conscious meals including vegetarian options. I have eaten here a multitude of times since I live in the area and each time the food has been fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The service staff is courteous and professional. The restaurant also have a nice selection of beverages. I highly recommend this establishment for its outstanding nutritious food that is reasonably priced.

Wasn t my first time here, never the last I may not be able to count on how many times, their food made me feel safe and comfortable, with the kindest environment. They make food to feed and care. And if I talk about the food, this post would rather be more stretched out. Beyond anything the taste, texture and type of food is exceptional, and cleanliness. Truly a pure joyful place to eat.

We have visited the Kingston Rd. Delina restaurant on many occasions. This past weekend, our daughter and her partner had the Queen St. Delina cater their wedding of about 130 guests. Because we have all eaten most of the many different dishes Delina makes, we knew the food would be great. Delina did not disappoint! The food arrived on time and the 2 staff who came along with the food, set up the buffet and stayed to make sure everything ran smoothly. Many of the guests asked where the food was from and we heard nothing but positive comments about how fresh and tasty everything was.If you are thinking of having a catered event, I would highly recommend Delina.

Very disappointing experience. The Kingston Road restaurant does not have the same decent food or service as Queen Street . Tonight there were two new employees both whom seemed dis interested and detached, one employee had no idea what she was doing and the other one was quite content to let her mess up. I had to explain over again what I needed and when I took the food home to eat, the fava beans were undercooked, as was the sweet potato; the eggplant was so over-salted and the lentil beans were dried out. The falafels were oozing fat. The tahini sauce was watered down and tasteless. I hesitated when I saw the food and shouldve gone down to the Queen Street venue. At $17.00 for this meal item, I expected a much higher quality of food and service. I dont consider I will be returning here.

Oh wow! That was the tastiest take out I can remember. I had the fish plate, with curried chick peas, Lentils and rice, tabouleh, and all the sides including the hot sauce. A great discovery.

Delina was such a fabulous health conscious find with the plate combo allowing you to select a number of dishes and sides. Many items seem like they would be ideal to accommodate dietary concerns like vegan, vegetarian, keto, paleo, celiac and others. I would check specifically if you have any allergies or restrictions. The food all looks fresh and made with amazing healthy ingredients and soothe both your soul and hunger. The woman behind the counter was so patient and kind with each customer and they had a constant flow of traffic. Happy to eat here again and support this amazing restaurant in the beaches.
