I had a fantastic experience at Shawarma Place thanks to Harsh, the employee who provided exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, Harsh greeted me with a warm and friendly attitude. I've eaten a lot of shawarma. While the majority are similar the shawarma here definitely stands out. The bread is thinner and larger than a traditional pita. The meat was tender and juicy. The sauce was on point. I loved everything about my wrap. My friend had the shawarma plate and I ended up eating the majority of it too. I'd definitely like to try some of their other options. The interior has plenty of seating and the staff were really nice. Thanks for a wonderful first visit.

We came here for a weekday dinner and enjoyed a delicious and high quality meal. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered “Chicken Shawarma on the Salad”, “Philly Cheese Beef on the Fries”, “Falafel” and “Chicken Shawarma Wrap”. You can choose different sauces for your shawarma: garlic, shawarma sauce, hot sauce. Both beef and chicken Shawarma were fresh and delicious. I really loved the Philly Cheese Beef; we also tried their delicious baklava for dessert.

My friend and I tried the Chicken and Beef plates, not just the meat was tender and delicious but the special sauce made the shawarma PERFECTION. I don’t know what is in that sauce but you guys have to try it out. Not to forget, the portion size is enormous. One of the best in the city I’ve tried so far 😋😋😋
The food is good. I had the chicken slovaki plate but the portion size seems less for a price of $14 with taxes. The quality of veggies and chicken is good, but the chicken pieces are less in terms of salad and rice. They have amazing toppings of salad dressing to offer.
A great shawarma option to have in the downtown core. Shawarmas were fresh and juicy with the wraps and plates topped with so many veggies and toppings, you get an explosion of flavor with each bite! Even when we ordered the falafel, we just expected it on it's own, but it was great to see that it came on top of a bed of salad of your choice! The staff was amazing too, both Harsh and Aniket were wonderful and delivered excellent customer service.
Since moving here we have struggled to find a good shawarma place…until we discovered this place while taking a stroll around the trinity bellwoods area. The service we received was exceptional. They were also very kind and patient to the older lady behind us who had many questions. The food was 10/10 and they definitely do not skimp out. My favourite was the souvlaki platter. They also have an excellent deal right now 2 for $29.99 and includes fries and 2 drinks. We will only come here to satisfy our shawarma cravings from now on!

Like a lot of schwarma places they load you up with rice and for some unknown reason Cole slaw and a small layer of chicken chicken was traditional taste. Just too much money for a lot of rice and a little bit of chicken
Tried almost all the shawarma spots in the city (chicken or beef on rice) and shawarma west is firmly heads and shoulders above the rest of the toronto shawarma market competition. The difference in taste and quality is so large that its disorienting. Osmows is comparable to the mcdonalds of shawarma (consistent, reliable, safe, mass produced, you know what you will get every single time) and Shawarma West is like the local bougie gourmet burger spot. Meat and garlic sauce and rice here are all A+++++++. And the above is based on the delivery experience after 10+ orders, Ive never had it fresh so I can only imagine how good it is in person. Just realized their second location to open next door to me at york street and I had never written a review of the original.

Gyro Queen is this restaurant on Uber. Before you lie or scam or cheat, Ive verified my information thoroughly. You offer a buy 1 get 1 free mix gyro plate with rice fries and a Greek salad. What on EARTH is this garbage? Even if its shawarma, why does it smell like my trash can? Shame on you. Shame on you. Shame on you.

I ve never walked out of a place and immediately wanted to give them 5 stars. The guy with the orange/red hair is a gem. Fully packs your shawarma and very generous. Extremely kind people, especially on a Friday night. I will be back!

First time ordering from here and won t be doing again. Paid extra to add fries to the gyro - which wasn t added - neither were the sauces. If there were sauces then I m even more concerned with how dry it was. Stingy on portion size and wrapped poorly. Super disappointing.

My husband ordered the shawarma through uber eat yesterday.Firstly he ate it felt like it was not perfect later he kept it in the fridge and within 2 hours the chicken turned out to be rotten. We never had such experience in our life. The worst food ever

Ordered a chicken shawarma plate on Uber Eats for pickup that was shown as a buy one get one free . Cost: $24.83 for the two plates. Seemed reasonable. Got home and the plates were at best half the size of a typical chicken shawarma plate, and thought there s no way they charge $24.83 for one of these plates. Sure enough, checked on ritual and the same menu item was $12.99 (before tax). They inflated the price of the plate on Uber eats by almost double to make it seem like a deal but really it was basically the price of two without promotion.
