I love these tacos, they all have an authentic flavor that the truth is that every time I come I fall in love more The service is very warm and the place is very cozy. Every Wednesday they have a pay two tacos and eat three promotion. You can order the head tacos with tongue, eye, cheek. Its incredible and if youre up for it you can try a highly sought-after taco of brains by the way I have also tried huaraches and cakes. Without a doubt the best Mexican place in Toronto. What could we say that hasnt been said about the food served here, excellent service from arrival and during the stay, well-served portions leaving nothing to talk about. The best side dishes in the GTA. Lets hope they continue like this and the seasoning and quality they have demonstrated does not fall into the spotlight. Without a doubt a piece of Mexico in Toronto.

I am Mexican and I can say that the tacos were delicious, it is one of the best I have eaten in Toronto, except that the tortillas were sweet. The sauces were also delicious.

I found this place at random, and Victoria was so helpful explaining the menu, and she reccomended the tacos, which I loved. Amazing customer service, I will come again

The food is very delicious, especially the carnitas tacos. The only problem I noticed is that they dont regularly check the sauces. One was already producing bubbles and was no longer good. They also chop the onion super HUGE

We went to their previous location over a year ago and have been dreaming about their tacos de cabeza ever since. Luckily we were able to find their new location! Best tortilla, juiciest meat, amazing salsas, cant go wrong. We will be stopping here every time we come to toronto.

Hello friends Honestly, they dont make tacos like before. The tacos have no flavor and the michelada is not good I give it a 3/10 the service is good only the food is not so much but I still support them in any way very successful

Such a hole in the wall! We went on a Wednesday where they offer a free taco with the purchase of 2 tacos. The tacos were freshly made with such tender meat and the self serve topping bar was so fresh and had so many options!

I wanted to like them, but I wouldnt go back. Since I tried them in Eglinton I didnt like them, but it wasnt until I was in the restaurant that I realized they were the same and I wanted to give them another chance. First the positive, the location is very good, the girl served us very well, and the carnitas were not that bad. What I didnt like was that I ordered the michelada without Clamato and they gave it to me with and hot, the girl said she would add ice, in the end she didnt add any and well, the taste was the worst michelada Ive ever tried in Toronto, no I could take it. The carnitas cake that my boyfriend ordered was delicious, I think its much more worth it than the tacos, which we didnt like as much. Something that I personally dont like is that all the clients use the same utensils to serve their sauces and lemons. It seems a bit unhygienic to me, since most Mexican food is eaten with the hands, as is the Stopping every time you want to serve something can be uncomfortable for some customers. Very bad experience, the truth is that I ordered some tacos and they arrived on different plates, on my brothers plate some of my tacos arrived and others on another plate, very terrible organization, no sympathy with the employees, a girl arrived and just told me there, look for which one it is Yours, he didnt offer any apology or anything, the taste was not pleasant, just meat with salt, the truth is, a terrible experience, I only went because it was uploaded to social networks and I said lets give it a chance, which I didnt like.

The delicious tacos and the very funny taquero

Popping in on a Wednesday as I walked by this place many times and seeing a taco special. Holding back my need for a decent taco, I finally caved into those cravings. First impressions feels like a contemporary Mexican restaurant, fusing both a bit of a familial touch with a bistro or street vendor. The staff was quite nice and allowed for open seating, no reservations required. Though there was some sidewalk seating to take in the street life or the sunny days, I did choose an inside air conditioned seating. Particularly gave the high top facing 12 inches to a mirror reflecting the rustic, earthy atmosphere of the wood tables split with metal accents. I arrived in a nice time where there seems to be a mix of customers about - students, families, group of friends all sitting for a meal. While enjoying my tacos, I did enjoy a great vibe with Mexican music piped through the speakers, felt like I could be sitting street side and watching a band play with my tacos. Since its a Wednesday I arrived, I had to take advantage of the buy 2 get 1 taco special. Took a pastor, pollo and their signature carnitas estilo Michoacán. Presentation isnt much but definitely the best feature is these tacos are loaded with their filling and allows for a do-it-yourself style of customizing your tacos. I had no idea what I was doing but tried almost everything they had on hand. At the time, they have line, chopped parsley, salsa, red and white onions, cucumbers and two sauces. On the base, the filling is incredibly seasoned the pastor and carnitas is incredibly flavour filled and the toppings only compliment and amplify the filling. With ample amounts of filling, the second warm tortilla makes for a great second helping. The tortillas themselves taste quite interesting. The texture has that soft tortilla bread feel but also freshly baked. The pollo taco was a good take, nothing to really write about in flavour but it was cooked to a tender texture and chopped with potatoes and onions which gives it a hearty texture with a savoury taste All the while, the service isnt too confrontational. It reminds me more of a Chinese restaurant where they let the food speak to their work there than having the staff speak on behalf of the food. The staff, however, are really kind and really focused on their work. I managed to ask the cook (?) for my order while the waitstaff was busy with other orders. To be fair, he did step behind the counter to prep the line filling and was the only one front of house. I did appreciate he did let me just ask him. After my first visit, Im definitely making a return for nachos and their other offers besides tacos. However for an obvious choice, tacos is the way to go for a great lunch or light dinner.

This was a delicious experience and the closest I ve had in Toronto to Mexico City. We had 5 tacos between 2 for a satisfying lunch, so at $6 a taco it s a good deal too. The champiñones, nopales, pollo, carnitas and adobada were all super tasty in very distinct ways. Highly recommended.

We tried four kinds, but Im sure they are all delicious. Authentic and fresh! My fave was the champiniones....spelling may be wrong! Haha...I highly recommend. Great value for your money!

Great food and experience. Authentic with good quality! My only suggestion is they should offer disposable gloves for eating the tacos as there is a self serve station for the toppings which everyone touches. Other than that the place is very clean and I highly recommend it!

The best tacos in all of Toronto! With an authentic flavor, they use well-known cuts of meat (carnitas, head, cecina, etc.), corn tortillas and even double tortillas!

Real Deal Mexicana! Reminded me of travelling through Mexico. This is not TexMex gringo comida. This is basically what you experience when you eat with the locals in Mexico. I will definitely be eating here again!

Got myself a good old lengua and their special carnitas. Like everywhere else food prices have gone up but at least they have a self serve condiment bar where you can rack up unlimited onions and cilantro. They have four kinds of salsa (verde, roja, spicy, really spicy). They play nice latino music in the background while you dunk those juicy tacos down the pipe. I d definitely hit this over Gus . Ayyyy

Amazing tacos - including vegetarian options! We ordered another serving because they were so great. The self serve condiment bar includes several kinds of hot sauce. Good selection of beverages and cervezas!

Best traditional tacos I ve ever had. The Cabeza, Carnitas, and Barbacoa were amazing. Also, they have a salsa bar which was great. Trust me so good.

We are so happy to have this new addition to the neighbourhood. It will surely bring some stiff competition for Gus Taco which opened up nearby and doesnt have as much seating. The taco fillings were tasty with generous portion sizes. The sauce bar is amazing with onions, lime, red chili oil, salsa roja, salsa verde, and an orange salsa that has some serious kick. We got 6 tacos for 2 people but probably two were enough. For 6 tacos and two horchata plus tax and tip it came to 60$. But we could have spent only 45$. We would love to see them expand their menu and stock a few craft beers (even if they are not usually part of the taqueria experience.) Maybe some Micheladas, margaritas or palomas to diversify things? The Horchata was good with lots of cinnamon. What I like about this place is you see the chef pull out the meat and chop it up with a cleaver in front of you just like in the roadside stands in Mexico. They also had some more adventurous things like tacos made from the meat from the cows head. We didnt try, but its good they are not only catering to gringos!

These are hands down the best tacos I ve had in Toronto, and the closest to what I could get when I lived in Los Angeles. Incredible cabeza, magnificently spiced pastor Absolutely mouth-watering.

I got takeout and the assorted tacos were delicious! The portions were generous and I was super full with three tacos. I couldn t taste much salt and that s a good thing because if I wanted it I could add it myself. The service was friendly, helpful, polite. I ll definitely be back.
