Not bad. Got a quesadilla. Very simple but clean.

Ordered from Uber Eats the steak nachos and bean burrito; both were spectacular! Particularly the steak nachos with all the fixings, one of the best Uber Eats experiences Ive ever had. Two days later and still thinking about those nachos, damn.

The staff is very friendly, professional, and food is prepared very quickly ! Burritos are tasty and it s a good value for money ! Thank you and hope to see you soon Vegetarian options: There are good vegetarian options, either beans and rice or stir fry tofu

Ordered three burritos from queen st. East location (used to be my favorite location). All three were missing ingredients we requested. I can understand if one wrap was missing an ingredient, but all three ?.. sad, now I have to find somewhere else to order.

This place is very mid. Honestly, is on the cusp of 2 stars. I got a steak burrito, but to call the meat in there steak is a bold-faced lie. It was ground beef. My wife got a chicken bowl, and the chicken was cold. Total came to $40 for a burrito, bowl, and two drinks (added guacamole for extra $ too). At that price the competition is Chipotle, and this is not worth it in comparison. An okay burrito, but I wouldnt go back.

Enjoyed the pulled pork burrito. Only downside is no washroom in the restaurant.

Fantastic burrito. Was surprised by the fresh cilantro and proper fresh jalapeño peppers. Just delicious.

I know, I shouldnt rate it because I didnt enter or buy any food from them. The reason I rate is that to let this place know, I thought they were close and so dark inside.

Ive ordered here ahead of time, hoping that food would be ready by the time I arrive. Nope, you still gotta wait 15+ mins to get your food even though theres only 1 customer in there. And that has happened consistently. Food itself is alright. Also, I would recommend going there to order the food cause they screwed up my burrito multiple times. And all the furniture in there feels sticky and greasy. This is just what I observed in my few visits.

Just picked up a chicken burrito- it was likely the worst I have had in a long time. No taste or flavour for any of the ingredients. Not worth the price.

So I ordered 2 shrimp and steak bowls. They put 4-5 pieces of shrimp, with steak that tastes and looks like cheap shawarma meat. The veggies were fine but definitely not worth 15$. If the prices are so high so should be the quality.

This place was better years ago. Now they have brown guacamole sitting there, and they have the audacity to want to charge you extra for it, years ago, it was included in your burrito.

I ve been here a few times. It s pretty busy so I would recommend placing an order over the phone, your food will be ready by the time you arrive. The food never disappoints and the prices are reasonable. Will be back for sure!

Always good food but HATE to beg for more hot sauce. They dispense it like its gold bullion, when I know it costs them about a freaking PENNY. I like it HOT, and Im the damned customer so Ill tell YOU how hot! Also, not worth ordering the guac cuz cant taste its in there.

Food was meh, service was pretty bad we went before a concert. We had 45 mins so thought no point of a sit down dinner well be quick only 1 customer in front. 25 mins later, still not ready and stated one still needed to be cooked. Very slow, I normally wouldnt complain about it, if they were busy... but its just the speed of the employees it was like like they were in slow motion picture

Got a small steak and shrimp burrito with no cilantro, medium spice. The portions were fine and order correct, however there was a burnt taste as I ate the burrito that made it hard to enjoy.

Ordered on Uber a steak burrito, taste wise it was fine but the food poisoning wasn t, not risking it again Edit After owner replay: Thank you for the condensing response, I guess I got food poisoning from my own cooking and is completely unrelated that I eat my burrito at 9 pm and woke up at 4 am with vomiting and diarrhea that continued for 2 days. I will rest assured that you in fact follow food safety guidelines.

Great value for money, would definitely come back again. Got the chicken bowl with everything, Saturday evening, in person. Not sure why its getting such poor ratings?

Ive been coming to this location for more than 1 year. The food has ALWAYS been great, fresh, tasty and clean. On top of that ALL staff, managers Nav & Dhiruven in particular provide top notch & impeccable service EVERYTIME I go there, even in supper busy times. Thank you for being Awesome!

It was my first time eating at Burrito Bandidos. I asked for some kind of steak dish; they gave me some sort of taco steak. Not great for heavy food. Preferably for snacks similar to fish and chips.

Been there so many times. Portions are big, highly recommend for hungry people.

Simple and hardy food that keeps you full on a decent price tag. Staff works hard to keep up with the traffic. Love there salsa and chips. Vegetarian options: Has vege options. Parking: Can park on queen st but need to pay. So pickup is preferred by me.

They re really rude to Black customers. I watched the woman give great service to the white customers and was rude to a Black customer. They didn t even wrap the Black customers burrito properly. Please be nicer to Black customers.

Stopped by late night for a steak & shrimp bowl - every spoonful has rock hard pieces of rice and the shrimp is not cooked through, they also use raw non-peeled shrimp and fail to peel it properly. Stay far away.

Ordered a burrito bowl which means you get half the chicken and no salad. Took 10 minutes (we were the only ones there) mine came out cold. My wife got the 2 tacos after we ordered we realized the special was tacos could ve gotten an extra taco for the same price. After we figured that out the people at the front just giggled at us? I m still upset about the small amount of chicken I got, I m a big guy I need my protein! Probably 4 oz of chicken in the large bowl.

I ordered the steak burrito but there wasn t any steak in it more like ground beef and some sort of filler it just wasn t good. It s not consistent enough for me to come back it s hit or miss with this location.

Update 2021/07/13: Ive added a star to my review as the manager reached out in reply to my email and offered another bowl, also it was warm this time and much better tasting. The steak burrito bowl I ordered was cold and flavourless I legit had to put it in the Microwave when I got home and then it was much better. They should serve their food hot. I ve had burritos from there before that were pretty good so I can rate at least 3 stars but I am never ordering a bowl again.

The special on their window looks enticing and economically great but its only a bean and vegetable burrito but when you get all the ingredients with guacamole being an extra dollar its quite a weighty, heavy, filling tasty meal for $5.99.

Decent burrito but it gets one star for the criminal 6.50 that they charge for their mexican fries. Disgusting price for plain fries, will never order from here again. I should have received a refund.

They have introduced Healthy meals in the town.

Dropped by for a quick bite before a concert and we were very impressed. The ladies in the shop took great care to prepare a small steak burrito and a gluten free chicken nachos. Both we fresh, flavourful, and hot. This hit the spot so well before we got moving at the concert down the street. The benches and seating are minimal but great for a small group. Prices were reasonable, especially for the quality.

This is fast becoming my go to place for mexican food. The staff is so great. I always prefer getting my loaded nachos packed separately from the toppings so they don t get soggy, and they re always so sweet about it. Definitely the best place to get mexican food in leslieville.

Ordered two bean burritos which had nothing but lettuce and sauce, No beans (at all . Not very little bean but no bean! And no cheese. Both burritos. $30?

They write the store is open till 10 and close at 9:30 pm. Also no ways to order online either for a quick up as they shut all their apps around the same time. When you show up at store in person around 9:45 they say our grill is cleaning and not serve you at all. Please update your timings.

So good my favorite is the Mango chicken, personally the food is amazing and worth every penny I just wish it be a bit more clean... Vegetarian options: The bean and cheese burrito is fire.

ordered the soya mix vegetarian burrito and it was disgusting. its like they didnt put any of the veggie toppings that i ordered it was pretty much all rice and soya mix and very greasy

I used to love this place ! Their burritos had me in a chockhold for a good 2 months! I went daily. Had to only give 3 stars since i once found a hair in my food, showed the guy who made it and he was kind enough to make another. I reminded him he needs to wear a hair net or hat when serving food and he said he would in the future. I waited 3 months to try again but again, another person making the burrito is not wearing a hair net/hat...shaking his hair all over the veggies lol , ew. He says the owner has given him a pass since it bothers him to wear one but like is it worth leaving hair in food again? Please consider updated health and safety training for your staff serving food.

Guys, dont forget shredded cheese is extra on the loaded fries, you cant get salsa on the loaded fries that only goes on nachos, you cant have lettuce on the loaded fries either because thatll make it super wet, only burrito sauce is allowed to go on the loaded fries! Jokes aside, the food was good but the attitude of the manager could probably be worked on.

When you get the burrito, get the steak. The chicken is good but the steak tastes better.

Ordered the spicy pulled pork burrito bowl and it tasted amazing. Decent portion too. Way tastier than a few other Mexican chain restaurants. It was quite spicy and would recommend getting sauce on the side and adding it to taste. I would 100% order this dish again. My husband was also pleased with the quality.

Ordered on my way home not 40 mins ago, food was quick and the delivery person was super nice. My food on tye other hand is insanely spicy and inedible, both the burrito and rice are packed with so much Chilli I cant taste anything else and it hurts to eat it. I didnt ask for hot sauce just some jalapeños and its impossible to eat, real shame too as Ive had it before and it was fine. Also skip the dishes wont refund for ruined food.

Ordered 2/8/2021 -- 1:03, ordered combo, that comes with salsa pop and chips with burrito. Guy forgot to put chips in, but insisted he did after I noticed he didnt when checking the bag after I walked out to eat. I literally order here 3 times a week on average from here, but no longer. Guy is telling me that Im lying about chips and that he didnt know what I did with it. Because really, after coming here so often, spending so much money here and ordering so often, Id lie over a bag of chips.

Ive been here several times over the past few years. It always takes a while but its worth it. They have great halibut burritos steak burritos and chicken burritos. You can also get shrimp in them. But Ive never got the shrimp. So idk how it is. I definitely recommend this place.

Ordered a chicken burrito, added shrimp. I was expecting more chicken and definitely more than exactly 1 shrimp lol. I mean, the add shrimp option is only $0.40 so my expectations were low but 1??? Is 2 too much to ask for? The individual who presented me my burrito was really nice, great service. I live super close but even being 50m away I don t think I ll be going back. I recall a very mediocre experience last time, too. I d gladly receive a frown and have my burrito tossed at my face if it had a reasonable amount of protein in it.

I wanted to try a new burrito place today. I was actually very disappointed. I ordered the pulled pork burrito and the loaded nachos. The burrito had next to none flavour especially the pork. The nachos didnt even come with cheese!!! For an extra few bucks your better off getting big boy burritos or burrito boyz.

My boyfriend wanted to go to Bandits tonight. My face . I have not been coming here as often since my order is consistently messed up. Also, the decision to charge extra for guacamole because most people, apparently, ask for for their order without (its been explanation more then two times to me). So same price, but more for a one less included option, is discrinatory against people that have milk intolerance issues. No one wants a dry burrito! Salsa is not enough, unless again, you pay for extra. Oh tonight, the guy said he would give me guacamole for free since I cant have dairy. I asked for green onions, no red onions and no rice. My burrito had no green onions, no guacamole way too much rice and tons of red onions. I think I had five small flakes of lettuce. So yes, dry and not what I asked for. @Management/owner. Stars earned: Your staff is nice regardless if they made mistakes... One person at the end their shift passed along the order to the Cook. Simple active listening and/or asking for confirmation can avoid such miscommunication. The ingredients you do choose to give as standard, are fresh. Stars lost as local former regular customer lost: The guacamole decision really sucks. I can go to your competitors that offer these options AND have burrito bowls in more then one size and be much more happier. I love local businesses and I do support. I know you will do well especially with summer coming and new concert venue coming. I wish you the best and I hope to give you a five star review in the future(so much more quicker to write and see those have more responses). These my true thoughts now, with your current options and sad belly.

I tried this mexican restaurant through Doordash and cannot say that I was satisfied with the food that I received. One of the burrito bowls was ok but the other one was just bad. I asked for black beans and cheese and there were only a handful of small red kidney beans and no cheese at all in my order, there were also onions and tomatoes which I did not ask for. The side of loaded cheese fries was the worst. The fries were soggy, and actually loaded with, again, onions and tomatoes which were not disclosed in the menu, no real cheese either just an orange cheesy sauce. The second burrito bowl was edible after I added my own cheese...

Very poor Quality. Ordered 3 Halibut bowls for over $50 for uber pickup. Fish was definitely not Halibut. It was a thin sliver with too much battery. This place used to be decent but it has gone totally downhill. Also they have 40-50% markup on Uber order. When asked staff indoor he simply denied it. EDIT for the owner: It was today. Around 1:15 PM. It was Uber PICK UP and not Delivery. Halibut Bowl is $16 on Uber vs $11.75. (36% markup) You can review the picture. guacamole was $1.49 on Uber and $0.85 cents in store., Prices should be consistent for pickup order. This is a 75% markup Also the fish sent in the order was not halibut at all. It was a different fish. THIS IS A BIGGER ISSUE. You can look at the picture of the fish too.

Dog food! It had to been the worst ever burrito not worth the money Im sure they forgot half the fixings and where more focused on wanting to upsell me the guacamole. I was in evening of Sat July 31st 2021. Ordered 3 burritos, 1 steak, chicken mango and chicken steak. I visited the last maybe 2 yrs ago and it was decent but this last event was yuck. I should have gone across the street and had a burger. Not impressed. Try one if you must before ordering three like I did :( Reply: @BB, it is a harsh review but honest one, it had no flavor didnt even finish it and your reply is bullish. Looking at your reviews the last couple havent been all that great either. I did say that I had a decent one in the past... could it have been under different management?

Updated: The management was very kind to reach out to me. I visited them again and was not disappointed. The bean and cheese burrito was great and perfectly spiced. Must visit. Original: The bean and cheese burrito was good. But there were these pockets of super spicy sauce i guess which was intolerable and i am from India. I just think when i ask for hot sauce in my burrito the sauce would be well spread throughout the burrito. I could not finish my burrito. It just eas not worth it.

I usually go to the Walmer Rd location, so this was my first time at the Queen St East location. I have to say, I wasnt impressed. The burrito had grossly large chunks of ground chicken, which werent broken up enough, and there was too much sauce. The inside of the burrito seemed like a mess. I understand that its a burrito, but it just felt put together sloppily. Everything was cooked well enough, and my order was on time, but the experience of actually eating the food was unpleasant.

I ordered a veggie bowl. The vegetables were cut in huge chunks I couldn t really enjoy the other flavours . They also put such a small amount of rice I could barely taste any.

I always get the Steak and Chicken, its a 5/5 place to go to if you live nearby which I do. I wish they had a combo deal for and some sides instead of just a burrito by itself. All the staff are nice.

This place has to be offering one of the worst value burrito bowls of any chain. Compare it to Burrito Boyz for example - their price is higher ($14.20 for what you see in this picture, before delivery and tip) and their container is around half the size. Despite that, it still comes filled pretty sparsely... Swapping the chicken with fish brings it to $20.

We ordered 4 burritos via Uber Easts and it took over 2 hours!!!! My kids were starving so I had to give them something else for dinner. The driver contacted me at the 2 hour mark to let me know she had to wait as they were behind! If they were that overwhelmed that should have let the provider know! On top of that the steak I was looking forward to was ground beef...Very misleading. The chicken and pulled pork was tasty. First and last time- never again!!!

Tried supporting local business, waited for 10 minutes to order while they prepared an Uber eats order, dispute me standing there in person, then 30 minutes went by and somehow between toppings and the grill the guy lost it?! I was handed someone elses burrito and was told 100% was mine opened it, and it was a white wrap instead of the wholewheat I saw her put toppings on. Turns out it was someone elses that was waiting, and they wanted to give it to him even though I had opened and touched it. Something thats unacceptable normally, let alone during COVID. Then after all that they wanted me to wait to make a new one with no reparation. Ridiculous service, I refused took a refund and left. I wish I could give you a zero, its a shame.

Usually our service here is fantastic and I would give it the full 5 stars but we ordered tonight and the portions were tiny compaired to how they usually are. I felt like my burrito bowl was less than half full. Not only that but my steak was chewy and had hard crunchy bits in it.i have lived in the area for 5 plus years and never had this experience but it was not nice at all. Is everything alright?

What happened to this place? No artwork, phone manners gone out the window? New owners should maybe learn to paint, looks like a dump. I ordered a bean and cheese, but it was filled rice. Very few vegetables or sour cream. Just as I thought change owners and they good goes down the tube.

I always get the large steak and shrimp on white, extra spicy... and one time a while back they made it on whole wheat by accident.. Ive been ordering it that way ever since. If I was on death row, this could quite possibly be on my list of top choices for last meal.

I rarely make complaints about food joints but this place is just going down hill. From one time I came in and it took almost 20 minutes to get a burrito with a total of 3 ppl in their store . Me being one of them. Today the girl either had a hearing issue because the guy in front of me had to literally blare out what he wanted. For me she heard perfectly but when she asked If I wanted guac. I said yes, she skipped it and put it right on the stove top. I asked her if she was going to give it to me separately which she then repliesyou said no so I paid extra and had it in a container. She calls out my drink and order I go up and ask wheres my quac, she goes oh yes, gives it to me doesnt say sorry or take care. I get home I have the guys burrito that was in front of me which was steak n chicken..... Which was the gentleman in front of me. I get it were all in a pandemic and wearing masks but the customer service has just gone down hill!

I had ordered the shrimp burrito bowl and it was decent - they skimped out on the re-fried beans and the rice, and the shrimp was not cooked enough as it was still raw. The service was okay, nothing special.

Lady at the cash wasnt too pleasant

Ive called in to place an order for take only to have it forgotten about. This has happened twice, where I show up and they realized they forgot my order tell me it will be an additional 20mins. I also got the feel that the staff made it somehow my fault.

Rafaella ia super friendly and efficient! I had a great experience here and will definitely come back! Great employee she deserves a raise!!
