Madre De Lobo in Toronto

Not sure how this place has more than 3 stars when they re taking advantage of their guests. Menu says $45 for the prix fixe but when the bill shows up it s got a bunch of modifiers on it. All the waiter says is yeah, they have to change the menu . Didn t make a big deal of it but if they are taking an extra $10, $15, $20 per person that adds up if they do 100 covers a night. I hate feeling like I ve been scammed. Definitely won t be going back.

While the dance entertainment was enjoyable, the overall experience was a bit of a letdown. The noise level made conversation difficult, and the food, particularly the tacos and desserts, fell short of expectations. The mezcalitas and espresso martinis were highlights, but the loud music and subpar food overshadowed them. It seems the restaurants social media presence overpromised and underdelivered.

We enjoyed so much the drinks So tasty , Nice place people Working there very friendly, definitely we re going to come back. I hardly recommended this Mexican restaurant. I give you five stars because they deserve it.

Their socials said they are pet friendly so we specifically chose this spot even though it was out of everyone s way. When we got here we were told patrons complain and were asked to leave - despite the restaurant being completely empty.

Randomly saw this place walking on the Street. Just got there as they opened so it was empty but the staff treated me like I was the most important guest of the evening. Danni was outstanding!!! Happy hour was a massive hit. The best beirria tacos Ive had in the city paired with 5$ Margs...come on. Loved it and saw if they had their entertainment it would of been a homerun. Muah thank you all staff you were amazing. I spent about 80$ with tip but I mean I eat more than most people and definitely took advantage of the 5$ margaritas. Great spot

This is a skip. Not bad, but not good. Expensive flavorless food, overpriced drinks, good service, fun atmosphere. There is better mexican food in the area.

The food is amazing packed with flavour. The birria tacos were melting in my mouth get it with cheese that cheese pull is soo good. The guac was great with the fresh tortilla chips super yummy. The environment and the music gave off such great, happy and positive vibes. My sister and i were dancing happily in our chairs. I celebrated my 35th birthday at Madre de Lobo. My family had a wonderful time! Our waitress Yulia was outstanding, chef Antonio did a fantastic job, the food was delicious! All the drinks prepared by Dani were so yummy! The manager Jessica was very attentive to detail and ensured that everyone was having a great time. I will definitely be returning. Good job team!

I was glad to finally make it here after it had been on my list for a while. We took a seat on the front which provided plenty of natural light. The Carnitas and Cochinita tacos were delicious - kudos to chef Antonio. Our server Yulia was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend and will be back.

I just ate at Madre de Lobo for the first time and loved every bite! My boyfriend and I had the Taco Duel along with the nachos and tuna ceviche crisps and there wasnt a thing we didnt enjoy (including the spicy margarita). I largely recommend trying here if youre looking for some good Mexican eats!

Amazing atmosphere and service, they are so attentive! The food was delicious, good sized generous portions. The ambiance is also lovely, very cozy and clean. Great for happy hour as well! If they have the corn cake with ice cream for dessert I highly recommend it.

This might be one of the best Mexican restaurants in the west side of the city. So many cocktails to choose from and large portion dishes. We had the taco duet and they were absolutely filled with meats and veg. The vegetarian taco might be the best Ive had so far. The chef Antonio is truly talented. The staff are extremely attentive and our server Yulia made sure we always had what we needed. Well definitely be coming back!

The service and food was amazing. Yulia was attentive and patient with my group. I appreciate that she made sure that my food was not cross contaminated due to my avocado allergy. Also props to Antonio the chef. My chicken wasn t dry and well seasoned. And the steak melted in your mouth.

We had a GREAT experience here. Yulia and the rest of the team were very attentive and personable. The ribeye meal was tasty and I LOVED the potatoes that went with. The dancer was very fun and had the guests dancing with her.

Love the atmosphere ! I feel like I m instantly transported to a Latin country! Music is awesome and food is sooo delicious!!!! The staff is very enthusiastic and vibe is excellent! The aguachile ceviche is a must try!!!! Presentation and flavours! Paloma drink is delish!
