My favorite thing and best value on their menu are their burrito bowls, they really fill them up and ingredients are good quality, I usually get the jerk chicken bowl. Guacamole isnt charged extra which is nice

I tried 3 tacos from a rancho relaxo food truck while at the Toronto zoo last weekend. I m still not able to go to work due to food poisoning. I have never been this sick in my life. A short while after eating the tacos I felt uncomfortable. About 10 hours after consuming the tacos I began throwing up and having all the other symptoms of food poisoning. The only other thing I ate that day was from Starbucks (6hours before eating tacos) so I m positive it was the tacos. There was a mayonnaise based sauce on them which I was suspicious of since I could see it wasn t being refrigerated while not in use. You do not want to feel what I m experiencing. Avoid ranch relaxo.

I went yesterday for the first time with a group of friends, it was EXQUISITE, the best quesadilla I have ever eaten. We were all happy with the food and service. They speak Spanish too, and the lady who serves is a sweetheart, we will surely return more times.

I ordered 4 burritos for my family, there were items in the burrito not listed in the description (peppers and onions). No flavour and over stuffed. Extremely disappointing. Will never order again.

Weve lived in the neighborhood for 4 years and somehow had never tried Rancho Relaxo before, but today that changed. What a pleasant surprise. As someone who lived in Mexico for years and returned to Canada, finding good Mexican food is difficult. Other taquerias in the neighborhood are quite frankly overrated but Rancho Relaxo is fantastic, sure its not authentic Mexican food but its one of the best attempts Ive had here in Toronto. Definitely will return.

Came here after smelling the amazing food from the street on a walk. I order 3 for 12$ tacos and they were really fresh and well seasoned. I got the fried shrimp (my favourite) fried fish and beef. Highly recommend their tacos. I wouldn t get the combo again with the guacamole and chips because it s regular chips and a small portion of guacamole but overall-amazing Vegetarian options: They have fried cauliflower for meat substitute

Worst experience here. Never again.

Immediatelt AFTER I ordered and payed, the cashier told me my order would take a while, maybe around 20 minutes. It ended up taking 30. I wouldnt have placed my take-out order if they had warned me it would be that long BEFORE I paid. I had a similar experience with them last year, but thought Id try again. When the cashier finally handed me the order, he apologized and said they were very busy, but it was a Tuesday evening and Id only seen one other walk-in customer and one delivery driver during the 30 minutes I was waiting. It was all super weird. When I got home, I discovered my yam burrito had no yam. Dont order take-out unless youre prepared to wait a long time for your order. I routinely order take-out burritos around the city and have never had to wait anywhere else for more than a few minutes.

Work down on Osler street and decided to give this place a try. The two employees behind the counter were super friendly. Service was quick and made fresh. Great place to grab a quick bite, portion wasn t too big or too small and tasted good!

Another worldly dimension - the smoked brisket taco in particular was not just food - it was an experience... WOW, just wow. I spent 7 weeks bouncing around Mexico & these tacos have the earthy familiarity of street food but with the taste enhancements of modern Toronto. Would LOVE to see breakfast tacos here!!!! I called 15min before coming to ask if they had any tacos that are strictly gluten free, and was assured that they do (this is important as our child has celiac, I explained). Upon arriving, despite their gluten free (GF) window signage, unfortunately the staff could not clearly answer which items were GF. For instance, we were assured that the faux chicken was GF; to double check J asked the staff to check the ingredient label, the friendly staff member returned stating that wheat is an ingredient! This kind of unreassuring situation (GF claim, verifying and it doesn t check out) happened a couple times, including with a consultation with the supervisor via text, before we unfortunately decided that we lost trust in the staff s word. The stakes were high, if our family member consumes gluten they are with severe reaction for days. It s not easy to offer GF foods, and we REALLY appreciate any restaurant that tries, and want to give our business! But, making GF claims for products that contain wheat, or products that are fried with non-GF foods: can really put some customers at health risk, so it s important that claims are taken seriously and staff is well informed, especially if the window signage advertises gluten free. I tried my best to make this work. I asked if we could speak to a supervisor to sort things out (we were told they are off duty today). I left my phone number so the supervisor could ring me to discuss. etc. To the restaurant: *please* train your staff on any claims on your windowsill and please leave them with cheat sheet that contains all the allergy information in writing. Thanks!

I love this store, the price, the taste, the quality, is just so good! Service is amazing and I had my free bowl after 10 visits, which was great and creates loyalty, best budget friendly restaurant in the area! Parking: There is only two spots, street parking is far away. Kid-friendliness: Best customer service, they do care.

This place is so good. Every time I am getting a tattoo at the shop next door, I make it a point to stop in. Ive stopped in 3 times in one day before. Their jerk chicken tacos are to die for. The chorizo was a little less good than what I was expecting, but their brisket is absolutely delicious and their toppings and side orders are fresh and keep me coming back for more. Absolutely stellar tacos!

Rancho Relaxo is a local staple for us! We often order the build your own burrito option, which is a great choice - there is a big selection of toppings, the price is reasonable, and the burritos are tasty! This is one of our favourite places in Toronto for tacos as well - the fried fish ones are phenomenal. The service is friendly and quick - any time weve called in for pickup, the food is ready in about 20 mins!

Staff are very un welcoming

If youre ordering online, have a back-up restaurant planned because Rancho might just cancel your order even an hour after confirming it! We used to order from Rancho every week and it was great. But all of a sudden their service tanked. I dont know what changed, but we just cant trust that well have our order fulfilled, so wont be ordering again. Its a real bummer because their food is so good and theres no substitute when youre craving it.

Burrito bowl was cold tasted okay, but guac was free

Both asked for no cilantro. It s written on the box. Everything is covered in cilantro. It s like they went out of their way to add more of it. Nothing tastes like anything. My partner asked me why I was ordering from Rancho like a lunatic and he was right to question my judgement. Why even cook food if this is what it s going to be? I ve had tastier silly putty.

Omg yum !! I ordered tacos for cinco de mayo and literally had to get more today it was so good ! My fav is def the bbq brisket, so flavourful! & my bf really liked their fish taco. So glad we found a good taco place close to home :)

Don t get the chicken in a burrito. I ve never had a more soggy and limp burrito in my life. I swear it was like eating soup wrapped in a tortilla. good lord I had to eat it with a fork and spoon

I hired the Rancho Relaxo food truck to serve my guests at my baby shower this past weekend. They were reliable and the food was amazing! All our guests throughly enjoyed ordering from the truck. All the tacos were really great and a huge hit. My favourites were the fish, jerk chicken and brisket tacos. Yum. Thanks so much for a great experience!

What a disapointment. The chips and guac was chips and literally two scoops of quac for $12! Yes that chip size is the amount of guac we got. I rather eat tacos from taco bell as they were bland at best.

It was vegan; I do appreciate that since I dont eat animals. Making vegan burritos is clearly not their specialty, but If youre starving, are vegan, and want some food youll eat, be full and life will be okay, but not perfect. :)

My parner and I ordered a burrito, burrito bowl and corn tortillas with guac through door dash...dont eat here!! The food was terribly packed, the burrito was sagging over the stacked boxes containg the tortillas and burrito bowl causing all the liquids in the poorly wrapped burrito to spill on everything and poor onto my counter when the bag ripped. Now on to the food quality. The burrito was below average at best but the burrito bowl was missing most of the toppings that were requested and was just a soggy mess. The tortillas were stale and the quacamole was only quacamole on the top and then a large piece of avocado on the bottom. Save yourself the money and disappointment and dont order from here. Considering this is a to go establishment, you would think they would know how to pack their items TO GO!!

Great burritos here, sometimes I get the tacos although I appreciate the burritos a bit more. Staff has always been very nice and friendly!

I used to frequent Rancho often, tacos were 10$/3tacos great deal, but theyve adjusted their menu and price and its just not the same. Now 12$/3tacos and 0.50cents extra for brisket(never used to be that way) anyway I get the inflation costs but the taste just isnt the same. Very salty, and greasy. And the fish is more batter than fish, which used to be my go to. I guess its good if you dont have pre Rancho experience.

The burrito bowls here are fantastic! Large portions, tasty and at fair price. Highly recommend.

I loved this place till tonight. I asked for Chipotle mayo and we got the fires of hell. This was via Uber. I had a $15 off coupon gone to waste.

Tried their food truck while working a festival in Toronto from a recommendation from a coworker. Some of the best tacos I ve had in city. I was so impressed because I m very particular about tacos and these ones blew me away. I tried the Brisket and the meat was so tender and flavourful and the ingredients were so fresh. I can t wait to go to one of their restaurants to try more items.

Rancho Relaxo brought their taco truck to cater a birthday party for us in late October at the Legion on Lakeshore. We had ~115 guests of all ages and they all loved it. Rancho Relaxo brought various taco options along with some more traditional fare (sliders, chicken skewers and mac&cheese balls from their sister company Blazing Kitchen caterers). Before packing up they brought out a late night snack of poutine and churros. The food was excellent! The staff on site were professional, relaxed and friendly. Leading up to the event we dealt with Cassandra who was easy to deal with and offered up great suggestions and options. We ultimately set it up so the food was brought in and served buffet style instead of through the truck window, which worked really well for us. We were very happy with the whole experience.

Their food truck came for a pre-wedding event this past weekend. Not only were they one of the few trucks who were even available (ie: not closed for the season), the tacos and churros were amazing and a huge hit! We needed to adjust the time by 30 minutes and they were able to graciously accomodate. The jerk chicken, fish and cauliflower tacos were the runaway faves with our party! It s been 4 days and their still talking about them Vegetarian options: Vegan options are great!

The cook working here was NOT wearing a mask, yet still rudely demanded I stand outside to order. Then when I orderer (from outside the restaurant!) she got angry with me (again quite rudely) for yelling. I was only shouting my order to my friend because she made me stand outside the restaurant and I was physically far from my friend. Its one thing for people to be extra cautious about COVID distancing, but when she herself chose not to wear a mask it was a bit ridiculous. And she was very rude about the whole thing.

Horrible service. Melissa at front desk has an extremely bad attitude. Had my mask on my face and instead of asking me to put on my mask she proceeded to TELL me to put on my mask although I had it on. Prior to that a co worker of mine asked her a question and her attitude was very demeaning. Will not be coming back here

will NOT be returning back here the cook hasTERRIBLE customer service and she does NOT WEAR A MASK. All questions i asked were answered with a major attitude so i didnt feel comfortable asking about anything else on the menu. I even left a tip for the cook because it seems like she was having a bad day!

Horrified to discover real chicken in my faux chicken burrito. As an ethical vegan I am shocked and in my 27 years being vegan, I have never been given chicken by accident. Completely careless and unacceptable. I would highly recommend that anyone who is vegan or vegetarian avoid this place as their standard of care is obviously lacking.

For the second time, this restaurant has forgotten my soft drink or gotten the order wrong. When I called in about it, they put the onus on me to remind them about the soft drink in a pre-enclosed bag. I suggested the drink could be put on the side, or perhaps the order could be kept aside so I dont grab it. The respond I received was if you like your drinks warm, maybe. I was also suggested to add Please remind me about my cokes! next time. Please dont put the onus on me; Youve given me no confidence you intend to address the problem. I only typically order here when La Rev is closed. I dont think Ill bother again.

A go to restaurant option for my wife and myself. Love the cauliflower tacos. Unpretentious, friendly, and a stones throw from Perth park, its a great stop before a picnic.

I paid too much for a very okay, wet salad that took 20 minutes to make. On top of that i got into my work truck and drove quite far before realizing they didnt put a fork or napkin in the bag. I drove back, and told her i needed a fork, where she responded that we have to ask for a fork. Really? I have to ask not to eat with my hands during covid? Save your money.

Great location for some traditional hand held Mexican meals. Vegetarian & vegan options are available. Has a small seated area should you wish to stay and eat. Best to come on foot, bike or transit as parking options are limited.

Really good place for a quick lunch, especially if you take away. I usually get bowl with foux beef or foux chicken (both seitan), with the house hot, and its really good. Portions are quite generous in my opinion, and its not that expensive at all. The guacamole with some nachos (on request) is fabulous.

I had fried fish taco and it was on point. I asked to add hot sauce in my tacoes and it was so good. They have some tables if you wanna sit and enjoy food there.
