The tacos were great, but the guac and chips were inedible. The guac looked and tasted old, watery, not bright green, and it had pico de gallo and some other ingredients in it that just made it really not good. I couldnt eat it....

Tacos are good but too expensive. Campechano is similarly expensive but at least you can sit down there. Two fairly normal sized tacos will cost you $20 with nothing else added. I ordered 2 and was still hungry.

Came just to try the Quesabirria Y Consommé taco. The consommé is very flavourful, the corn tortilla had great texture, enjoyed the salsa verde. The brisket was 4/5 for me (felt like it was just a touch over) but there was a good amount. One taco is a filling snack, Two are a meal. Prices do feel on the higher side ($9 per taco) but tbh not so far off other top taquerias in TO today. For next time: I appreciate there s a veg option (jackfruit) to try, will ask for extra oaxaca cheese. Note that seating is limited.

The Chorizo taco with refried beans was delicious. I thought they could serve a few chips and salsa with it for the $9 price. It was definitely worth trying as it was very well done, I added extra cilantro.

The most phenomenal tacos Ive had, their sauces are top notch. The hottest sauce is so flavourful and delicious. Get at least two tacos.

Authentic Taco joint, small downstairs place with seating for maybe 10 max. Had the brisket taco without cheese. Comes with a fantastic side of consume soup for dipping/sipping. Great flavours. I asked for spicy and it was perfect, not insane. Good prices. Best tacos I ve had outside of Mexico

Go here. Super delicious and generous portions to a simple menu. Brisket with a side of consummé is a must. A hidden casual gem amongst the glitzy restaurants of ossington but not to be missed.

A small downstairs establishment with some great Mexican food. Menu is small but has some neat offerings. Prices are on the higher side. Not much seating so if its busy you probably wont get a seat. Theres a cute little jenga to play around with which I thought was a nice touch. The place is nicely decorated, very colorful & reminiscent of Mexico.

Tried the quesabirria taco with consommé and it was fantastic. Flavours on point. Consommé slaps both as a dip and on its own. I got it spicy but it was actually pretty mild. Luckily we make our own serrano pepper salsa and it was the perfect addition to kick up the heat. Restaurant itself is beautiful and the prices are decent too. Highly recommend.

My friend and I randomly stumbled upon this restaurant and we have zero regrets. We ordered the jackfruit al pastor taco (vegetarian/vegan friendly) and it was delicious - tangy, spicy, and notes of sweetness. The staff was so kind, we were big fans of their interior design so we took a few pictures.

Tacos al pastor are my favorite, but if its vegan then you cant call it al pastor, its a mockery to such a great taco :/

Such a great addition to the neighborhood! Everything we ate was fantastic. Birria taco & consomme is quite addictive, be warned. We also tried the jackfruit al pastor, which was super flavourful and delicious. All their salsas are 10/10. Prices also very reasonable. This was our third visit since this place opened, and I m sure there will be many more.

This is my new favourite taco spot in Toronto, don t sleep on this place. Open April 2023, this hidden gem is run by a team from the culinary heart of Mexico, Oaxaca! And it shows I have been back multiple times and everything is good, however the chorizo & refried beans is unlike any taco I have had in downtown Toronto. And I have had a few! The Birria is delicious, and could cure any hangover in an instant. Tried and tested. They also offer a stunning vegan option of pulled jackfruit, so they really have something for everyone. Enjoy! Saw a shout out on Tik Tok and thought we d try it out - it did not disappoint! This may rank as the #1 taco spot I ve tried in the city yet. On top of that, the service was amazing - the people who work there were so lovely and let us sample a couple drinks. Cannot recommend this place more.

Super bad experience!! On the menu there was a vegan option for tacos which made me happy knowing that i can eat there care free as i am a vegetarian!! After asking couple times the guy serves us a meat taco with a beef/ meat soup along with it. Then he comes an serves the vegan taco , After asking what was the other one he laughs and says sorry that he served us a meat taco after asking 3 times !! How does one makes sure they are eating what they requested? Secondly, its not a cheap place . They are selling single taco for 7.50 + taxes and they charge an extra cost for any sauce in it like hot sauce which ends up being Around $10 !! You could get 3 tacos at a normal taco place . After being upset still went ahead and tried the vegan taco it was nothing but a burnt oily and stomach upsetting meal as we requested a crispy taco. The guac and chips are okay , the chips were more like pita chips as they were hard and oily !! A place you could get something to eat when u r are drunk but honestly Toronto has way better places to eat . There are other good reviews but i am leaving a genuine bad experience and would not recommend anyone getting one here !!

Delicious and super affordable meal! Had an amazing Pollo Verde Quesadilla, took only a few minutes to prepare fresh, flavours were great! My party also had multiple tacos which everyone loved! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, an introduced us to a traditional Mexican beverage which I would absolutely pay for next time! This place should be full on a Saturday afternoon in June!

Absolutely incredible tacos. If you want fresh, gooey, melt in your mouth deliciousness this place is unrivalled. The cochinitas pibil was some of the best pork I ve had, in any context. Such an absolute treat, very kind service as well. Can t wait to come back.

I only stopped in during my lunch break so I didn t get to try a lot but Ill be coming back again so I can taste the rest of the menu Wheelchair accessibility: On the lower level down a set of mildly steep stairs so its not very accessible for anyone in a wheelchair or other mobility needs

New Mexican restaurant down the road from Ossington st, its a little hidden but you definitely have to try those birria tacos and that beef brisket quesadilla which was terrific. 100% recommended!! Gracias Chicos mis papás se sintieron en México!

The food is amazing, very authentic Mexican flavour. Limited menu, but has enough options to try. Space is limited inside; however, I recommend trying it out.

Walked into this inconspicuous place 9:30pm on a Sunday just before it closed and asked for a taco of whatever they had left. I was greeted with a birria taco that blew my ever loving socks off. The tortilla alone was mind blowing but the soup had so much flavour I could drink only that for days. Highly welcomed addition to the food competition on ossington.

Food is very mediocre and way too pricey. $11 after tax and tip for one taco the size of your hand that was served in under 2 minutes.

Its a little hole in the wall basement restaurant with only a few seats at a counter with stools, most of their business during the winter is ubereats, however during the summer there are tables outside and its lovely place to stop in and have a taco

This taqueria is extremely good. Have spent a decent amount of time in Mexico and they are every bit as good, if not a bit better than most of the tacos there. And the guy was extremely friendly, not afraid to give an (excellent) recommendation and even gave us a sample of horchata that was delicious. Couldnt recommend it more!
