Love this place! Sure there are other ones just like it, but the staff on Queen West in Parkdale are always awesome. I feel like family everytime Im there, and the food is always as delicious as the last visit. As I dont live in Toronto I dont stop by often, but everytime Im in T.O., I make a point of stopping by for some lunch to Ali Babas.

Just wanted to share what an amazing experience I had at this Alibaba. Omar was very polite as expected and food was delicious, even the presentation. I was a bit concerned at first as the prices were low, however I had an amazing experience and loved the food !! Definitely will be coming back if Im in the area and recommended to my friends & family. Only concern, place needs a renovation as it seemed a bit dirty.

I will never eat a food from there again, but 4 times I have ate the food. I got sick that few times I got sick. I thought it was some kind of bug I may have caught or just something. I got sick with but finally I was coming from them because my sibling also got sick from them And not only that, a few times Ive actually been there. I never see them clean The things they use to move the meat around and the big spoons. They use to pick up the sauce. I see them drop it on the floor but never clean it up. Instead, they dropped on the floor pick it up and then use it without cleaning it it all it is very nasty. I will never eat the food again

Ive been eating at one Ali Babas or another for 14 years. Ive been to every single location. Sometimes theyre hit and miss. Sometimes the same location depending on the time of day you go is hit and miss. This location just got a new owner and I can say that it is a HIT, no matter what time of day you go. The food is always and the service is impeccable. If youre in the neighborhood, this is the spot.

This is one of our go-to places for a fast meal. The food is always fresh, we normally get the falafel wrap or chicken shawarma and its always delicious. Service is kind, showing that Parkdale warmth. Glad its so close! Vegetarian options: Falafel is really good here, and a lot of fresh salads, eggplant, vine leaves, and veggie samosas.

Great chicken shawarma wrap. I ask for extra hot and extra white sauce and the wrap is so good that way. I was going to another place near my work for a bit, but it doesn t compare to the wraps I ve been having there. Definitely worth checking out.

They served me leftover/dried meat shawarma with spoiled vegetables. The amount of meat served with each plate is not standard. Unfortunately, they try to save money in such a way. You can notice the difference when not getting the sides (rice or potato). Too pricey for a bit terrible of food.

Worst Alibaba in the town. I went there on April 16 around 9 pm. The staff who was making the swarma wrap is not polite, makes the worst wrap , it was soggy, was not properly wrapped & non edible .

I run a construction company and always bring my employees here. The staff are super friendly and the food is amazingly delicious. Love the whole menu, also the chicken shawarma plate is reasonably proportioned and awesome. I highly recommend this place for its good food and reasonable price.

Soggy pita dry chicken, barely any sauce and hummus. Its a disgrace to serve me what you call a shawarma. I expected more out of an establishment like this. Would not give it a second chance. Ali baba on Broadview and Danforth is 20× better.

Visit date Sep 1, 2023 Decently priced. The staff seem nice but mess up your order anyway you say it. I specifically asked for spicy , but got the blandest shawarma. The shawarma was put under grill but pulled out too soon, and now parts of the meal was just cold.

I ve had many find experiences at this location. Just now at 10:15 PM on Thursday, September 14th I had a really weird and even predatory interaction with the only employee in the store. We were trying to order and he winked at my girlfriend multiple times within the span of a minute. He also gave her several suggestive upward nods. Super bizarre and inappropriate. Young guy.

I ordered online for pick up tonight because I was short on time but we eat here all the time and its normally very good. Tonight was awful. It was the driest, coldest, smallest and most lazily put together shawarma Ive ever gotten from there. There was literally no sauce. It was so bad Id have gone back for a refund if Id had time. And the person working was very unfriendly and did not deserve the tip I preprogrammed. Word of caution, there is no recourse for bad food when you order through google. So disappointed in what used to be my favorite shawarma place.

I live in the neighborhood and from 4 or 5 shawarma spots we have around this is my favorite. Owners are incredibly nice, friendly people and sometimes give you something extra to try. Shawarma is big enough, properly cooked and they always have ayran. Happy to support this local business.

I tried this for the first time this weekend while at St. Mikes hospital. Absolutely delicious as soon as we walked in we were greeted with an extifriemdly staff, and offered a sample of their lentil soup. It was so good! A friend of mine was in Toronto today and I send her to get me 3 more soups! Their hummus is amazing and their baklava was so good! I might have to make a trip to Toronto just for this!
