I have never eaten such disgusting food. I ate a huge long nail in it. You haven t cut your nails in a few months? Do you cut your nails while serving your guests meals? I actually vomited after eating it. It ruined my good mood for the whole day. Please don t eat it. It s disgusting. The taste is also mixed with flavors. It s unpalatable and disgusting. Stop doing it now.

I ordered the spicy sour rice noodle with beef and enoki mushroom yesterday and had a bad diarrhea this morning.

I ordered the mushroom broth because it said it was vegan and I have an allergy to seafood. I got a bad allergic reaction a few hours later while the other people I dined with (that ordered different dishes) were fine. So I m not sure if it was seafood that was contaminated with my dish or the mushrooms itself, because there is another review saying they had a bad experience with the mushrooms.

I had diarrhea after eating there.

Order takeout. The thin, short woman was the cashier. Sit and wait for 25 minutes. The takeaway is already ready. Dont tell others whether its okay or not. Do you just have to ask others to ask you? The service attitude has been so bad every time. If you cant do it, dont do it. The whole face was full of sadness. Who owes you money?

Love this chain rice noodle restaurant. Food quality is great! Most importantly, it s really good to see such clean washroom in a Chinese restaurant.

Authentic and affordable

Had the braised beef with hand pulled noodles. The noodles were great but the dish was rather plain in flavour (its served in what seemed to basically be plain beef broth). I added the tofu puffs but the texture was more like wet bread. Service was pleasant.

We visited for lunch after going to the AGO as it s almost right across the street. This place really hits the spot. I love how hot the soup is! I do wish that they had a ginseng chicken soup option though! Would recommend on a cold day. Yum.

Student friendly restaurant. Their serving size is big, I really liked their braised chicken with bones. Their deep fried tofu was also good. Overall its a good place for students that dont want to pay too much and still want some good warm food for dinner.

Dont behave well with uber people

Always stop here when I crave Tomato Noodle Soup/Hotpot. Would recommend their Original Soup or Tomato one, they taste delicious and are very cheap, especially with free refill noodles as well!

Look for one of the managers named Wol and you wont be sorry. Great accommodating staff and overall experience...just dont sit at the front of the restaurant in the winter months lol.

The food here is always consistently good. If youre a fan of rice noodles this is my go to spot. Try the spicy and sour enoki beef small pot!

Polite and welcoming. No complains about the services. The restaurant was busy and full but we did not feel rushed. Non Chinese speaking people please note that most employees are not fluent in English so be nice and patient. Food was outstanding. Soup broth made without msg, noodles tastes fresh like I ve never had before! My friend and I ordered other side dishes - deep fried squid tentacles, smoked pork feet, deep fried rice cake with brown sugar and deep fried pumpkin rice cake with red beans filling. All of them were delicious! If you re a fan of Chinese food and noodle soups, this is definitely the place to be! Edit : I ordered for delivery through Uber eats, food arrived very quickly. Broth was still hot 20 minutes after the food was delivered. Packaging was done carefully so there were no leaks.

They serve good quality Yunnan style rice noodles with unlimited noodle refills and cheap price. Definitely worth the money.

I will never order their takeout again. The quantity is very small every time, not to mention the quality control. Yesterday, I ordered fat beef rice noodles in sour soup. After eating it, my stomach felt super uncomfortable. The taste was different from what I had before. The ginger taste was too strong. I didn t even eat it, I didn t feel clean, and it was a bit disgusting.

Good place to eat and very good service

Often come to this place for great experience and amazing food. Today tried Spicy noodle soup and cakes with coconut filling. It tasted like heaven(soo good) for a really affordable price. In addition to highlight that you can order over your phone when you come in which ease the whole ordering experience. Employees there are really friendly and attentive in terms of giving you what you need like water etc. Wait times for getting your food are really short - we were able to order and get our food within few mins. I would highly recommend this place for great price and high quality tasty food!

Original bone soup bridge rice noodles, Sichuan spicy bridge rice noodles, fruit wood smoked sausage rice noodles, crispy snapper with fish sauce, couples lung slices, coconut milk filling balls, all of them are delicious. The portion of rice noodles was so big that four people (3 adults and 1 child) didnt finish three portions of rice noodles. The coconut gravy balls were so delicious that we ordered another serving. The fruit wood smoked sausage tastes great, and the portion is really generous. Juicy and crispy snapper makes me drool a little bit when I look at the picture today [laughing through tears]. This Yun Shang rice noodle shop also comes with a fresh tea ceremony. You can order from both stores in one store. The service is also very attentive, warm and comfortable. I went there at noon on March 8th. When I checked out, the boss gave me a Goddess Day card and a peach blossom cake, which was a little surprise!

Very friendly people working here. I tried both the boneless and bone in braised chicken with rice, and its supper yummy. The popcorn chicken tastes really good. Must try them. This is my go-to meal every time

My daughter and I love their rice noodles! I ordered Coconut Curry Rice Noodles and my daugher had the Original Rice Noodles. Putting all the noodles toppings is so fun! It s a unique experience for us. The broth is so flavorful. We also tried the Beef with cilantro and Deep Fried Pork. Complements with the rice noodles well. Great place, great food and great service!

Food is good and generous portions. Price is decent. Owner is nice. Environment is comfortable and nice. They did a charity event for Sick Kids and if yall ever go to the charity event, please pay. Its not a $0 buffet. Thanks :)

Came here to eat rice noodle for dinner on a cold night, it definitely hit the spot. The broth was flavourful, the rice noodle has the perfect texture and there was a lot of toppings that came with the soup. Excited to try the other rice noodle flavours that they have next time. The service was good, my server was attentive and the food came quickly. The ambiance was cute, modern and clean.

I have been coming here for a long time. For $14, you can get beef brisket and hand pulled noodles. Food has spice in it but is very good.

Ive never had rou ga mo (or signature chinese hamburger on the menu) before but it was so delightful and the braised chicken handpulled noodles was so fresh and healthy, not too salty, not greasy or heavy at all, great serving size. And at a reasonable price. Didnt get to dine-in but the interior looks so nice. Im so glad I stumbled across this at the edge of chinatown!

This is my first visit downtown location, I have always visit their Markham location !! The noodle is good as expected, service is great, but the chicken with rice is under my expectation also the bubble tea is a bit off too, very watery.

Amazing food

Got the hand pulled noodles with beef, spicy. Was really good! The beef was nice and flavourful, wasnt chewy at all. The noodles were nicely cooked, and went well with the broth in the bowl. The level of spice was one above the mild - authentic spice level, and had a decent kick for a nice meal. Overall, it was delicious. Was just a quick ordering process, where you scan the menu and order on the webpage, and then they bring you your food. Service was quick and friendly. Staff keep an eye out for your water and will come around to do refills. Payment was in cash or debit only though, so make sure you bring one of those.

Large portions and super quick service. Some of the toppings that came with the noodles tasted a bit off and most of the toppings were still frozen when it came out hence the 4 stars. Otherwise wonderful and they also have $4 Heinekens, which is great.

If I need a nice hot soup, this is where I will go. The service is nice and fast and is not too busy so you can always find a seat. The price is great for the food you get! You also get noodles on the side to add to your soup which they always give a good amount. I definitely recommend if you are in the mood for some delicious, HOT soup!

We tried the Yunshang Rice Noodle restaurant in Markham and even though the food was delicious, the service was terrible. After searching we found this downtown Toronto location and we LOVE IT. The spicy noodle soup is our favorite (with refillable noodles), food is delicious, good portions, affordable, service is fast and staff are friendly. We come once a week! Recommend!

One of my favorite restaurants in downtown area. I highly recommend their original rice noodle soup & braised chicken rice. They are just amazingly delicious! Btw don t forget to try their appetizers like chicken wings or sliced beef in chili sauce. I almost love everything I had at this place.

This restaurant is great if you like rice noodles. I enjoyed my rice noodles with Lamb. The only problem that I encountered was the lack of English translation in their menu. It s good that my Chinese friend was there to interpret them for me. I think the management wants to cater only to Chinese customers. That s their prerogative though.

Really delicious food! Clean cooking. I m in Toronto General Hospital, so I ordered customized dishes. I am extremely satisfied with the food. Not only they made upon to my requests, but also the quantity and quantity both great. Definitely highly recommend and for sure will order again. And will bring friends to have dine- in experience.

DECEPTIVE MARKETING: they have fresh tomato slices in the pictures on their menu, however there is no tomato slices in the actual soup at all. It s just tomato flavour soup. The actual quantities of corns in the soup does not match the picture either. If the pictures on the menu are just deceptive marketing, why don t you put black truffle and Kobe beef on the pictures as well???

Its delicious. I went there yesterday but the service was really bad. The 9-dollar couples lung slices were just a piece of beef tripe and Maoxuewang rice noodles. The first time I ate them, there was so much Maoxuewang that I couldnt finish them. Today Im here to eat Maoxuewang. Five pieces of nothing, a poor experience, no half-star option

Its not that this restaurant tastes bad or anything, I really cant stand their takeout... When I go to dine in, I always enjoy the food and it is indeed delicious. However, judging from the three Ubereats I ordered recently, none of their orders are delivered to me correctly. What s even more exaggerated is that I am afraid of them. I made a mistake and posted a note not asking for shrimps. Not only did they not help me, they also added five or six shrimps for me. I really saw that these shrimps would be disgusting and would ruin the taste of the soup, so you guys are like this Is it really okay not to read the order clearly? The first time I ordered extra lamb, it was not added at all. The second time I ordered extra diet coke, but they didn t add it to me. This time it was the most exaggerated. I ordered mutton and made a note that I didn t want the shrimp. Not only was there no mutton for me, but a lot of seafood was also added. Excuse me? I really hate seafood, and I made a note not to eat it, but I couldn t eat it because the soup smelled so strong of seafood... I was really, really disappointed. I know you make a lot of takeout orders and are very busy, but please make sure your orders are correct. After all, no one wants to spend $20 to order a bunch of inedible things.

They had two types of Yangs Chicken, with bones or boneless chicken. You can choose your spicy level: regular, authentic , or spicy . Its suitable for people who dont like their food to be spicy. I went there with Kerry.W. Thanks for coming out and had dinner with me again . I had Yangs Braised Boneless Chicken Rice with Spicy. It was so good and easy to eat. The chicken was tender and juicy. The portion was good. It was only $10.99 for Yangs Braised Boneless Chicken Rice. I got one more to take home too! Oh yes, its for my beloved husband. The service was good too. We had Tomato Rice Noodle Soup and Spicy Rice Noodle Soup. Both my husband and myself enjoyed our meal. The portions were huge the taste was delicious. My husband loved the spicy level in his dish and I love the tomato broth. We will definitely order again and try other dishes.

I was really speechless about this store. I ordered self-pickup at doordash. I asked the service guy how long it would take. He said in his attitude, Okay, Ill order. Are you driving people away? Cant I ask how long the meal will take? ? Its not very funny, and I wont ask you what platform it is? First time seeing this kind of service staff! ! Does anyone know the contact information of the owner of this store? I really want to complain about this waiter. If its troublesome, dont work in this service industry. Ive been to the other Yunshang restaurants in Toronto and Markham previously and this ones pretty similar. They do have two other restaurants at the location though so you can get rice dishes as well as Prestotea if you want bubble tea. It was pretty busy when I went but staff were still relatively attentive, food was great and with reasonable prices, I enjoyed the overall experience.
